Speaker 1 (00:00):
I want to be the very best, like no one
ever was, but did I was?

Speaker 2 (00:05):
I only ready because it's side anywhere. It's about to
get weird. Be prepared for incident. Weird thinks you're gonna
get weird. It's getting weird. I'm gonna get real weird
with it. Let's get where, Let's get it Where? Where? Get? Where?
Are you ready to get weird with Hoodie and Eric?

Speaker 1 (00:25):
I'm ready?

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Listen because you're listening to the two hundred and forty
second of two point two episode of Let's Get Weird.
My name's Hodi, and every week we come together, they
give you the weird stories from our lives, the streets,
the sheets, the ups, the downs, all around and just
have a good time.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
You know, you're entertainment. The car read that. Let's face it.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
You think there'd be less traffic, but there's just about
the same amount of traffick.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Know more.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
We're gonna go down that American Legion bridges.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
You know, maybe God help you. Everyone's in Virginia or
Maryland's existence right now for you know what I'm saying.
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
But we're here, we made it. We're gonna go see
a movie tonight that'll be fun at the mall. Can't
say which movie, but I'm excited. We can't No, why
not not till we're there? Okay, it's called the reveal.
Check out our socials at Andrew Hoodie or Atmospheric V
to see which movie we see. Yes, yes, you get
your boy has Wolverine clause. They're great worked out. I

(01:26):
went to Spirit Halloween yesterday and I got some candles
for my wife, got this, and I am set up
for the Wicked screening in three weeks. Why you find out,
you gotta go if you want to find out?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Did you get a Jonathan Bailey?

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Did I get a Jathany sexy man costume outfit? Or
it shouldn't be a costume? He think like people would
sell that as a costume.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Dude, think about this because we talked just the magazine
with Bridgerton.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
If Reggie Jean Pierre would have stayed Page whatever the
heck his name is, if he would have stayed in Bridgerton,
he'd probably be having all the success like my boy
Jonathan Bailey, and.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Instead what has he been doing? What's he been doing?
Dungeons and dragons? That was okay, good movie. He was
the weak point in it. But a good movie. But
what has he been doing? She look it up. I
don't know thing.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
Because he dipped down on us and then it was
like you should have stayed.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
For another Selida nothing the audio the movie right right,
it's filming. He was in a movie called Black Bag
nothing that Michael had Michael Fastbender in it. Oh, I think, well,
now he knows. And then he's in a movie with
Hale halle Berry next year. Oh okay, but nothing like
Jonathan Bailey right nothing.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Yeah, this is why you as an actor.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Or a tricking the franchise for the long haul.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Yes, because nowadays, the stigmatism of being an being in
one role forever.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
I think it's going away. I think it's going away
big time.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
And I think because of social media, because of tiktoks,
we're seeing of these actors and actresses that I can
have more than just one thing, you know. And there's
also directors like my boy Tyler Sheridan Taylor, Sharon Taylor, Sheridan. Sorry,
I've been watching Tulsa king and I've been watching Landman
and Mayor of Kingstown, and he uses a lot of

(03:13):
the same actors in different roles for a lot of
these same well, it's.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
The Ryan Murphy effect for all the American horror stories
I've never seen. It was all like Evan Peters has
or Mike Flanagan. He's doing the Netflix ones. He always
has like the same actors and his thing. But it's
also like Adam Sandler, he uses a lot of the friends.
James is always in it somewhere that websitor rebsnider kind
of like cool cool, but that's.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Okay, but that's okay, we messed.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
But yeah, I think Jonathan Bailey it makes sense.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
I mean, he was in Wicked, he's in Wicked again
this year, and he was in a dressic world which
wasn't good, but Rebirth, which we saw, which is it
wasn't good, but it's a box office and he looked good.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
He didn't look good. Everyone was by it there.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
They called them, I don't know, I could say that word,
realms of runty glasses will for see.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
That's what they were called on TikTok. I didn't call
him that. They were called that on TikTok TikTok. And yeah,
obviously Bridgerton, so I assume he'll make at least a
cameo in the upcoming season and he's still part of it.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Might be busier now than he was, but.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
No, because I feel like this this week was already filmed,
that Jason Park was probably already filmed.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
This season is mostly going. I feel like it's an
older brother, the other brother. Yeah, yeah, I remember my bridgeton.
Do you remember your Stranger Things? No? I know.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
That's why I'm like, do I want to start the
rewatch for Stranger Things right now?

Speaker 1 (04:35):
But you know you have to, you'd have to watch
Apparently someone did the math.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
If you wanted to.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Watch one a Day, you should have started on October
twenty third. Okay, well you know, maybe.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Watch one to day.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Well, well, the back half of season four, two.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Hours that long. Even asked you that day, I was like,
did that guy die? The dude played the guitar in
season four? Eddie Eddie Yeah, yeah, Joe Quinn, Yeah, I
don't remember half of it.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Do you remember?

Speaker 1 (05:03):
Because Chrissy wake Up was a big TikTok trend in
that whole summer.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
Max, me and Max were talking about something because he
whenever we're going to Target, they have a huge, huge
display at tarj of like swag and.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Other like season they're going to radio. I think one
of them works at the radio station.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
One of the works at the radio station, and you can
buy a bunch of radio stations swag they got with
like w Q jay Z or something like that. But
Max Max apparently once because he loves the Demi Gorgan,
but he's only seen two episodes of Stranger Things, and
he said it was too scary the.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
First it's it's nice.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
A little too scary, made a little bit if he
was like eleven, I get it.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
I think I can.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
I think I need to rewatch it anyways, just to
rewatch it because I feel like it was such a
hold on on.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
I think the first season is like scary, yeah, and
others are just science fiction, you know.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
So which is good. I mean, we love a little nerd.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Actually es aectually when it involves Pokemon cards, because your
boy participated its first Pokemon tournament this week, I did
love them a whole fun fact, you boy won a
regional tournament back in the day when I was like
twelve for you gi Oh in the back of the
toys r Us, which we've talked.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
About I think a couple of times here on this podcast.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Had yep.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
I thought, hey, they translates Pokemon. I participated. It was
a pre release tournament.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
At Dream Wizards in Rockville shout Out, which essentially that
means is you get the cards early before everyone else
does later this month.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
And uh, one and three three? What do you think
screwed you? Was it just not knowing the deck?

Speaker 1 (06:30):
Was it not knowing how player screwed me? And also
being like, oh, yeah, I don't really care.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
So the dice actually matter?

Speaker 3 (06:37):
Right?

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Uh? Did you use the burden? Not really not the dice.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
It's mostly like certain cards have abilities that you're like, oh,
I could have been doing this the whole time if
I was a smart but I didn't pay attention, you know.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
So the trainers are actually important to have.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
Yeah, And does it matter if if it's an illustrator
trainer or it's just a trainer, does whatever?

Speaker 2 (06:54):
No.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
So the difference in Pokemon cards, and we've kind of
talked about this is Eric's gotten.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
More into it.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
Is there's the normal card, then there's like the illustrated
version of it. It's the same thing, but it just
looks start cool and it was funny. A guy actually
I played, he got the like the illustrated version of
the card, but he was like, I don't want to
play it because I want to get damnaged. So someone
literally took an Energy card, which are the throwaway cards,
and just wrote this is this is the fill in

(07:21):
for this card.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
And I was like, right, I.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
Don't want you to get so so well getting out
you did that. Now this Saturday, you're going to participate.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Again, going again this time hopefully I know what I'm doing.
Have you been training now?

Speaker 3 (07:35):
I mean, I think the main thing is I know
what I'm doing this time, whereas last time. I was like, literally,
because thank you that I got your support of you
in Max. It was nice that all the players there
saw Max talking to me. I was like, hey, I
got a bunch of extra cards. Essentially he got a
whole deck too.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
M hm.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
You get a pack that's supposed to be pre made,
and then you're supposed to like you get a couple
of packs with it that you can like variety it up.
Fau was I took apart in the whole of the
whole deck that they gave me. I was like, oh,
I'll put it together. I was like, I've messed something
up here. And I think it was like I didn't
have enough of one card or something that messed up
the whole thing. But it was a one time I
got conned out of a card, which is fine, a

(08:14):
promo card.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
This time it's mine. You're not getting it. Yeah, but
there's one of four.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
Decks at this tournament, and I got the dark one.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
So we'll see if I get the same one again
or if I get a different one this time.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Can you tell me last time you got a dark one? No,
because it's they don't even know in the deck it's missed.
You know, you don't know, Okay, And I'm not going
able to make it this Saturday.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
And fortunately, what if I pulled chores art though, that'd
be dope.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
I hope.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
I don't even care if it's the fancy one. I
just want a Charis Art.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Do you don't have any charge arts?

Speaker 3 (08:42):
I have one Charis Art, or actually two Charis Arts
technically even fancy chars because I kind of because wait,
you completed a one fifty one, right, so I have
that fancy one and then the normal one boun't count
that one, so.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
You've got that fancy chars Art one. Wow, man, you
should not have opened this post them on box with me.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
It's fun.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
I am at the point right now I cannot be
buying anything right now, like we.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Already paid for this ding on Saturday, so I'm going
to go.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
Well, I'm happy you're doing it. It's fun and it's
actually kind of cool. The community, the TCG community is
a lot of fun. It's it was fun to be there.
It was fun to see.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Max run around like a maniac and like ask per
million question.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
The thing is where you and I are experiencing the
nice side of it. Yeah, and not the line up
outside of Target to run and try and get cards.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
Because you know, I mean, I am crazy enough to
do that. I am crazy enough to do that. I
am a little I'm a little nuts. But I also
think too, like it's fun to do this with Max,
and it's also fun to do it with you. It's
like like my two boys are growing up. So now
you just got to win this Saturday.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
One. You got dominate. I went all three. You dominate.
I don't get anything if I went all three, I
don't give an f just win.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
But it was interesting.

Speaker 3 (09:54):
A lot of people, I think I told you yesterday
they I don't think they even played. They're just like, hey, yeah, when.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
I don't care.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
A couple of guys that were like they just picked
up the pack and then left, yeah, which is like,
I mean, I get it because Pokemon is the hot
thing right now, Pokemon and one piece.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
And if you can get all that for thirty dollars
instead of one hundred dollars.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Right because I bought Max an Elite trainer box after
we were done of Mega Evolution, Big Box cards, ten packs,
and because you know, we had a crazy Saturday, he
did to get up early with me because I had
to nail on my tire, so we went to go
fix that.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Shout out to Radio Tire and Silver.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
Springs get Tires and so then I was like, all right, buddy,
we had I got some gift cards from here from
the radio station, and I was like, you know what,
let's go get a card because I knew walking to
that store.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
We were going to buy something.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
So I was like, let me premptively have extra cash
to buy this for him, and we did, and we
got a couple of cool cards and he was happy, yeah,
you know, and then we also got shout out of
Jake for giving us some trick or treat cards from
last week.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Got Gang Guard. Yeah, we both got gang Guars, which
is great. Got pumping up.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
We've been having a good time, having fun, you know,
not saying I need to chase every card.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
I'm just chasing the one that you're one fifty one
looks beautiful.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
That's the only one I'm able to complete because the
rest I'm like, there's there's a couple because I mean,
deep pocket Monster makes me want to go crazy and
buy everything. It's pecially with the Pokemon that buttle Pikachi
Pokemon guy.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
So we'll see Kiki Rips Kiki Rips does which I
haven't seen him do that anymore.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
He no, so he did too yesterday. Yeah, I see
him doing low ConA the Disney one. I know, well,
I don't got time for it.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
I can't.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
I think you can't stretch yourself amongst.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
Because I don't one piece because those cards are pretty. Yeah,
but then you're like, who with a lot of money
put the price?

Speaker 4 (11:36):
But the price point for resale isn't crazy for those
right now, right now, right now, because they're selling them
at MSRP at Dream Wizards.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Should have bottom. No, they're probably gonna go up in price.
I know that I said this, damn it. That's okay?
How is Halloween? Halloween was great?

Speaker 4 (11:52):
I have a conundrum with Max because my kid only
eats five different types of candies. It's either sour, Trolley's Airhead,
sours Hershey Chocolates, or irregular regular Eminem's no preass No,
he just is like straight chocolate or sour.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
Well, you do like your fruit candy?

Speaker 4 (12:13):
I do like I love my gummy bears. Well, I'm
sorry he also crushed all the gummy bears. Okay, because
the individual wanted Rebo, You're like, can I go?

Speaker 2 (12:20):
No? No, okay, So I'm thinking, do.

Speaker 4 (12:22):
I just while he's with his mom today and tomorrow
today and then I'll get him tomorrow or should we
do this tomorrow night? Is separate all the candies he
wants and then bring everything here to just leave it
for everyone to eat.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Well, you gotta get his permission.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
The worst thing that happened is you took it. You're
gonna take it. He's like, where'd my candy go?

Speaker 2 (12:39):
He hasn't realized it.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
It's been sitting there for three two or three. From
the aisle m, there's the peanut M and ms.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
Those are the best things in the world in the
fun pack, uh huh, because you look a little fun time.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
I'm actually surprised too because I got U two shots
yesterday at the CBS that candy isn't really on sale
sale at least TVs. It was like a thirty percent off.
I was like, this needs to be fifty percent off
at least it's after Halloween.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
Maybe because they're realizing that people were doing it and
knocking up and then then we're using it because a
lot of candid doesn't expire and they don't.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Get it really like Halloween packaging on it anymore. You
can just reuse it for Christmas.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
Yeah, So why not just be like smart and if
everyone and because nowadays you some manufacturers can go look
on I bet you they have people looking on social
media to be like, what's the big like trend of
what can we get for sale? Because in there that movie,
Oh there's that movie with.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
A coupon Chris Christ and Bell.

Speaker 4 (13:34):
Yes where she doesn't lady, yeah, coupon lady thing. So
I bet you there's probably you know, they're out there
watching what we're doing to be like, you know what,
we're not.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Gonna we're not gonna You're not gonna get us fifty off.
Dang it as I readjusted the chair. But yeah, exciting times.
It's November. We got a lot of movies to see
this month. I'm excited. We got this one, we got today,
we got one next week when we're.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
Going to the running one, not the other one, because
we get in the past to go see the magic.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
One, I know, and then then and then oh is
it now? Do I need to see the first one? Yes?
The second?

Speaker 1 (14:09):
Or do I have it?

Speaker 3 (14:11):
I can Peacock's kid. I don't know if Maxwell out
MAXI might like more. But Mora's goal is because we're
seeing on Tuesday. So the Saturday before watching.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
I think we're watching Wizard. I don't know what order
we're doing.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
We're doing Wicked, then Wizard of Oz and then Wicked too.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
We'll see in theater because Wizard of Oz must take
place after in between. Huh.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
So Wicked starts off with the immediate after effect of
Wizard of Oz, like the immediate like they melted the Witch.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
But then it clashes back so like technically which was degree,
this is like a precursor to.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
Essentially, it's a prequel to a degree, but then the
second part of the play or the movie is after
is an apologue part.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
To a degree.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
I mean it's all interpretation. It's not whatever canon you
want to put, but in my canon it.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
Is makes sense.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
I always thought that Wicked was like like the precursor.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
And then if you want to fall in love with
Jonathan Bailey Moore, just watch Wicked. So dancing man, he'd
be like, he is a beautiful man. I hear you
coming in humming some of these songs and I'm like,
that's right, sh got you?

Speaker 2 (15:24):
Well, what am I gonna watch it?

Speaker 3 (15:25):
I can this week when bitch, you watch two Oceans
eleven movies yesterday?

Speaker 2 (15:30):
That was six hours. That wasn't like I wasn't doing anything,
you know, I did it.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
I didn't want to say this to John and Sauce
because I've been playing this game on my phone. What's
it called tuone Blast, and I the hell is that?
It's so tone Blast works with this other app seems
like an ad. But there's this app called Fetch where
you get points to then buy gift to get gift
cards or whatever. And I have twenty four thousand points
so I can redeem it.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
What's the game?

Speaker 4 (15:54):
Actually, the game is like just it's like a it's
like a matching game tone Blast.

Speaker 3 (15:58):
But if the more levels you get it and the
game your level six hundred and thirty four. Yeah, let
me play.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Let me see. How do I go? Tell me how
to match the colors and then if you match the.

Speaker 3 (16:08):
Colors towards children one of Sweetheartkay, So it's just Bejeweled.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
It's Jeweled, it's match game. So what do I want
to match? You want to match all the color? No,
you want to match the colors.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
You're going to get the blocks out of the way,
and by getting the blocks out of the way, you
can then get equipment.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
But nothing matches. There's nothing. The yellows, what yellows? The
yellows right there, they'll just hit the yell.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
Okay, okay, hit the yellow All right. That's confusing, Eric,
It's not that the rocket.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
Just went all yeah, because all the reds you notice
the rockets. It's what I do.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
It's what my parents preat you feel like when I
was like, hey, you want to play Pokemon.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
You want to play like WW with me?

Speaker 1 (16:46):
And my Dad's like, what what are these controls of?
Like you'll you'll figure it out that don't worry door,
you got it. See how easy was I'm learning? But
you only have like fifteen moves, so after that you're.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
Not person have done that. Yeah right, we're learning. We're
loning disco ball now.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
Yeah, so the disco ball can either get rid of
all one color or you can match it with a
with a bomb or a rocket and you'll get multiple
that same color. Look, dude, blame blame Jackie.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
How many do I need to match? Three? Four? Three
to four?

Speaker 4 (17:17):
But yeah, but the more you match the same color,
it turns into a certain item.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
See, so like four will get you rocket, five will
get you a bomb, six or seven.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
Will be anything. Yeah, because you're out of moves. I
got moves. Oh I got moves. All right, we'll keep
knocking out the bottom stuff out of moves. Okay, well
you enjoy that.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
But while that's going on, I think I do hear
something off in the horizon because it's time for.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Some You didn't play it, Yes, I did didn't.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
Yes, I think I hit it a third time. I
think you did because through highlighted. It's highlighted, not going
through one stop.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
All right, Well, anyway, it's not for some miss connections
where we read actual mis connections from Washington, d C,
dot Craigslist dot org, slash m I s see who's freaky.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
Or is it d C? Is it Maryland? Or is
it Virginia? And just have a good old time. And
we're gonna go starting off with why why why.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
