Today marks two years since the collapse of the Francis
Scott key Bridge, resulting in the death of six construction workers.
Reopening the key Bridge is expected to take longer and
cause double the original estimates. According to the MDTA, the
reconstruction likely won't be done until the end of twenty
thirty and Instead of costing between one point seven and
one point nine billion, construction could now top five billion dollars.

The design of the new bridge is about seventy percent complete.

MDTA leaders said the revised projections reflect rising construction caused
advanced engineering requirements and a federally mandated peer protection system
designed to prevent another ship strike. A newly released report
from Inspector General Isabelle Mercedes Coming found that a Voldemorre
City employee sent electronic communications containing statements regarding threats of

physical violence and other inappropriate comments which violate the city
the City Technology Acceptable Use Policy. The employee also acknowledged
in one message that they were aware that the communications
