Police are asking for your help and finding a three
year old boy who investigators say was taken by his
mother this weekend during a reported parental abduction in Baltimore.
It all started yesterday afternoon, when police responded to investigate
the nineteen hundred block of Eagle Drive.

Officers met with the child's father, who reported he was
playing with his three year old son when the boy's
mother took him and left him in a vehicle. Officials
said the vehicle is believed to be a white Impala
or Malibu. A law enforcement officer was airlifted with non
life threatening injuries after responding to an incident, possibly involving
a shark by at Actague State Park. The officer was

hurt while helping a person involved in the marine life
encounter and was transported to a trauma center by helicopter.
Authorities have not identified the marine animal involved, but swimmers
are advised to remain aware of their surroundings in Maryland waters.
Freakness took place at Laurel Park this weekend, chasing the
hometown horse for the lead for much of the race.

Music City Minute. But what did you like about the show?
What you saw of it? We do have to go

like nine p thirty. What did you like?

And well, I had it on my phone.

I was carrying it around with me as I was
doing chores and you know for Sunday evening, so I
caught little snippets here and there. Nineteen artists performed throughout
the night, which a lot of music. Is a lot
of music. So I have Top two. I have Ella
singing be Her. I thought it was a very different

And I think one thing.

That I really loved about the night for her is
I feel like this is her her moment, right Like,
I mean, she's swept last night and she still seems

good way and she admits.

a really bad morning yesterday and leading up to the

think that it says a lot about country music and

you a couple of things technically about the show that
I thought Shania Twain did a very adequate job for

hosting the first time. You have to understand she's never
done it before. So one thing I did like that
they did not do is they didn't give her a
bunch of jokes to tell in the book. They always
do that in the opening, and I don't know if
that was her decision. I'm like, I don't want to
do joke.

Let's just you know, and she was honoring legacy and
history at that point, talking about the people that had
gone before her, which I thought was a really nice.

I really got drawn into this moving song just about

something I think they should not have done. They went

from that song right into Red Clay Strays, which was
a great song Demons in your Choir and they had
a choir and well that those two back to back
were too similar of a style in the tone. They
should have maybe separated that throughout the I mean that's

get on stage and absolutely murder the stage and go
on stage and play country music and preach the message
of country music to a bunch of Australians across the world.

By like the fact that she really paid homage to
the people who had gone before her and hosted and
been a part of the awards show. It wasn't really
a lot of jokes. It was more straightforward. They always
do jokes and monologue of each one. Yeah, and a
lot of them are corny.

And I think she she just I don't know, maybe
she just didn't want to do that, and I think
that was the right choice.
Speaker 5 (09:29):
I agree it was different with her hosting, but again
she did she looked great. Another Texter said, hey, what
station broadcast awards last night? I couldn't find it. It
sounds like it was a great show. It was a
great show Amazon Prime.

Yeah, I'm not a fan. I gotta tell you either understand.

I mean, I know the regular broadcast right, and they're
doing that with football games too. It's just people don't
have it. I mean, I think you can. I don't
know if it was free or not. I don't know
if anybody could watch it because some of it give
me a free past.

I was like, wow, this is seaming. Probably don't perform
that song. I was deader that often. So it was fun.
You had like the same leg movements. I'm like, all right, guys,
they're buddies, they're pals. We love that.

the ACM Awards last night.

It was a really good show.

Well, those are the two big names we're talking about.
For the ACM Awards. Ella Langley won seven ACMs, all
the ones she was nominated for, including Incredible Single and
Song of the Year for choosing Texas Female Vocalist. So
it was a pretty big night for Ella Langley.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
Album of the Year, New Male Vocalist was Tucker Wetmore
and Avery Anna wondered her New Female Artist of the Year.
Brooks and done eighteenth time to win of the Year
for the ACMs Group of the Year, Red Plays Strays
and Male Vocalist and also Entertainer of the Year Cody Johnson,
who had a great speech by the way, and toward

the end he really did did a little dedication.

There's a man that was up for this award that
I've personally watched devote his life to country music. And
I was there the night in Australia when his wife
gave birth to the one of their sons, and I
watched the anguish and I watched the I watched the
defeat on his face for not being there because he
was across the world playing music in a sould that
arena the next night, right after it, I watched him

get on stage and absolutely murder the stage and go
on stage and play country music and preach the message
of country music to a bunch of Australians across the world.
So tonight I want to dedicate my first Entertainer of
the Year award to my buddy Luke Colmbs.

That's class and I think it says a lot about
country music in general, right, Like that's the family of
it all.
