in reminding women that they can take up space and
(05:10):
lead with confidence, authenticity and strength.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
So I'm wearing Revlin to make a Maroni concert.

Oh well, nice to meet you on the phone. And
we do we play a lot of your music. But
here's Michael's question. He wants to know how you can
deal with all of.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
The women, right you've got I mean, you've got a son,
now I understand, but you've got a lot of women
to cope with.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
I have half as many as you, and I got my.
Speaker 7 (06:18):
Hands ball for sure. Oh gosh, I don't know how
to answer this any tis no tips?
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Yeah, what do guys need to know?
Speaker 7 (06:27):
Man? You know, sometimes I just think it's better to
not say what's on your mind. Then you just kind
of keep quiet a little bit. And I think you
wait for the right time to say what you think.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
He's smart, And I want to tell you I think
humor comes into it because I see I would imagine
that you and Lauren have got just a lot of laughter.
I've seen the things that have happened between the two
of you. When she's sitting next to you and she
can't name your album?
Speaker 2 (06:54):
You know, yeah, that was legit, wasn't it?
Speaker 7 (06:58):
Very very Legiti do you know the names all five
of my records?
Speaker 3 (07:02):
Unforgettable?
Speaker 2 (07:04):
What was the name of the album?
Speaker 3 (07:08):
The names of any other albums?
Speaker 2 (07:10):
That's the real question, the name of the.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
Can can you give me?
Speaker 2 (07:17):
What about?
Speaker 3 (07:19):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (07:25):
Like?
Speaker 7 (07:25):
I had had a buddy in town for Eastern and
he's not on social media at all, and he was like,
I just want to see what your Instagram page looks like.
And I was like, okay, I'm just I'm gonna pull
up that video. So I called it Lauren's Take, and
it literally was just a very organic video of me
asking her if she knew any of my record names,
and she couldn't she named one.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
I laughed so hard at that, hands full, Well.
Speaker 7 (07:49):
Yeah, that's that's the funny part. You know. I think
you know people see our social media, and they're like, oh,
they she must she must be like the biggest fan,
she must be so proud and and those things are true.
But like we both have full time jobs, Like I mean,
being a being a full time mother of five children
is like, it's not a joke, you know, it is
not a joke. And so I think, you know, by
the time I will, like if we get into bed.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Yeah, he's exhausted, like the rest of us.
Speaker 7 (08:13):
Well, my whole life.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Well, we're excited. You're about to be number one again.
Let's back to number one, baby.
Speaker 7 (08:21):
I appreciate that, y'all. It's uh, you know doing I've
been talking to a lot of folks this morning, and
every time people say, man, like this could be your
twenty fifth number one, like that, that's a that's wild,
Like that should not be happening, you know what I mean.
Like I look back at my career and I'm like, man,
it feels some days it feels like I started doing
this a week ago, and there's some days where it
feels like, man, I have been doing this for fifteen years,
(08:41):
you know. And every time we have a song you
know that starts to inch his way up the chart.
I'm just like, no way this is going to happen again,
you know, And and I just I think, I think
just blessed is the feeling, you know. So so thank
you guys for for not just playing this song, but
for for literally, you know, making my voice be something
that you guys play on your radio station. It means
more than you could ever imagine.
Speaker 2 (09:01):

been more proud of two people getting to be the
