happening on two separate weeks in our household. And yeah,

some special locations at times. But we had one person

Sometimes it's a little chillier.

is heading down to Nashville. He has a big surprise
for us and it will be announced tomorrow morning. So

there out on the roadways, and we were just thinking
it's spring break time for some people.

So my girlfriend is heading down to the airport and
she was saying, like, six p ninety five is seems
to be a bit busier than usual, and she goes,
I forgot that it was spring break, and I'm flying
out with a girlfriend today to go to Miami, and
so I'm imagining that the airport.

Is going to be hustling.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
But it's a who leaves for spring break in the
middle of the week, right, because if you leave, it's
typically on the weekend.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
Yeah, that's true. I don't know.

Maybe there's cheaper fairs today and so maybe it is
a good time to head off to spring break. I
was reports about, you know, with gas prices and how
that would affect spring break travel this year.

With that said, though, because it did jump up, I
noticed twenty cents yesterday. But you've kind of made your
plans in advance of this, I would think, unless you're
a last minute plan or so, you're going on your vacation,
whether you knew the gas prices were h uh huh.

And if you got your airplane ticket, chances are you
probably got it before all of this.
Speaker 4 (05:24):

So I do have one child on spring break, but
then my other daughter has spring break coming up around
Easter time, so you get to.

No, there is no spring break plan, and all of
her friends are out in Florida, and I was like, sorry,

Interesting thing. I just saw this because I was always
told that booking your flight on a Tuesday or Wednesday
will get the cheapest flights. Have you ever heard that?
Speaker 4 (06:03):

I have. So Google came out with their trends like
a week ago. They said, actually the cheapest date of
book your flight to save the most money Friday. So
we just keep that in mind for your next trip

Kit Moore just announced that he's coming out with a
new album or Reasonablieve thirteen total songs that's coming out
in May twenty ninth.

He was at CFG Bank Arena and he opened for
the Cody Johnson concert and everybody was saying he shouldn't
be an opener, he should be a headline.

don't know if he did it at your show, but
when I've seen him in the past, he's like, put
down your cell phones, live in the moment, enjoy the present,
because too often when you're at a concert you see
people holding up their phones watching through your phone. It's like,
why not want to watch it clip on YouTube if
you need you later? Like right in all honestly, how
often do you go back after the fact and watch

Saying show that he wants to play the Super Bowl

It would be a great halftime show performance. Everybody knows
his music no matter what Johnrey are in. Yeah, it
makes sense to me. Oh j used to be all right,

we know is there's a lot of money in it.

So one of my girls is on spring break. The
other is not. That comes closer to Easter for her.
But you know, we were talking about there's a lot
of travel happening. It seemed like one of my girlfriends
was traveling on six ninety five heading into the airport
and she's like, it's definitely busier than usual. Wasn't thinking
about spring break and then the airport is hustling and
bustling right now. Michael Jay is one of those people

that are there but we're like, I want to get
away because I'm done with the colder temperatures and we
are a lot of people are looking forward to spring break.

But then there's the gas prices. Does it affect travel?
Speaker 2 (11:10):
Well, again, I think you've planned ahead of time. So
if you were, unless you're doing something spontaneous, if you
already planned on going to the beach, you're still driving
there right right, So I guess I'm more curious about
your situation because you got kids split up over different
weeks of spring games.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
Yeah, so so no, there is no like two cruises
happening on two separate weeks in our household. And yeah,
so then at that point you just have to figure out, Okay,
what do we do? So I take a meach to
some special locations at times. But we had one person
that said, Hey, I'm going to Orlando for a spring break.
(11:45):
Can't wait. I've done Disney for a spring break before.
Sometimes it's a little chillier.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
It's not aware chili down there. But I just saw
this the other day. You know how they do the
fast pass, Yes, so you can cut in line. The
price went up lane, Yeah, it was like four hundred dollars,
but that's on top of the ticket just to get in,
not to talk about getting there and doing the hotel.
It's like, how do you afford that?
Speaker 3 (12:11):
I know, it is becoming more and more difficult. We're
Disney people.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
When was the last time you were there? So recently?
Speaker 4 (12:19):
Yeah, so we're like.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
Right, like we're in like the Princess stage and Mickey.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
And Mini and so we were annual pass holders.

And so I actually had a trip to Disney that
was planned right when COVID hit and we had to
cancel it obviously, And things have changed at Disney overtime
since then. But people are still going and it's not
stopping anybody. It's the one thing that well, it's not
stopping a lot of people. The pack the parks are
still packed. It might change your plans, But did.

You take your kids when they were still in strollers?
