Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
It's some Mike and Diane Schell on ninety five point
one WayV with good news. Taco Bell is re releasing
classic menu items from across the decades.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
You kiddle, Taco Bed, all right, I'm.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
In I knew you would be. Well.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
You know, Taco Bell is famous for tweaking its menu
by discontinuing certain items and then bringing them back occasionally,
which I think is brilliant marketing because then it builds
up the anticipation, kind of like McDonald's does.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
With the mic rip.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
But the thing about Taco Bell is it's the same
seven ingredients, just like different repackage. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
But well, now they've decided to re release some classic
menu items from decades past. So here are five favorites
that are returning, and I love they go all the
way back to the nineteen sixties. So the nineteen sixties
item is the Toastata, one of Taco Bell's original menu
items at its first location in nineteen sixty two. It
includes refried beans, red sauce, lettuce, and cheese.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Like you said, same, I am, same ingredients.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Gonna be around two bucks for that too, nineteen good price.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Let's move on to the nineteen seventies, a green burrito,
let me guesses, lattice means cheese, filling, onions, plopenos, and
a green salsa. It's the green burrito. Onto the nineteen eighties,
the Mexi melt. It was on menus until oh Wow,

(01:21):
until twenty nineteen. From the nineteen eighties until twenty nineteen,
and then it went away.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Go ahead, eat cheese and beef, cheese.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
More cheese, three cheese.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Oh pico degaio?

Speaker 4 (01:32):
Okay? So tomatoes to.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Ninety nine, Okay, yeah, you got it.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Nineteen nineties item coming back on the menu at Taco Bell.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
They're bringing back the classics. Beef Gordida supreme beef.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Yes, tomato, Yes, lettuce, onion, lettice.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
You got what's on top of it? Cheese, sour cream,
sour cream on a flat bread. Two ninety nine, All right,
I saved the best one last. The two thousands item
caramel apple and panada. That's a little different and empanada
with a crisp exterior and warm filling of apples and
caramel flavor for two ninety nine.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
I am on board for that one. I've never tried that, yeah,
have you?

Speaker 3 (02:17):
No, I'm not an Apple. I'm not like a dessert guy.
So if I go to Taco Bell, I'm going to
Taco Bell.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
If you go pick me that up please?

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Yeah, Well, I got you.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
The re released items will only be available for limited
time while supplies last.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
They are on their way into Taco Bell in the
next couple of months, so give it a little bit
of time.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
But which one are you looking forward to the return
of the Taco Bell classics?

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Let us know and talk back. Open up the free
iHeartRadio app search WayV, tap that red microphone and let
us know. Ninety five point one WayV. It's Mike and
Diane with second date update. A few minutes ago, Margo
told us about her first date with Jeremy. Margo said
they had dinner and drinks. Everything went well. She expected
to get a second date because he mentioned that, but

(03:00):
she hasn't heard anything back from Jeremy. So Margo, we're
gonna go for it right now. We're gonna call Jeremy
and see what's going on.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
Okay, thank you.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
You're welcome.

Speaker 6 (03:13):
Hello.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Hi is this Jeremy. Yeah, good morning.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
It's Mike and Diane from ninety five point one WayV Radio.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
We have a morning show on the radio.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
And we just wanted to see if you have a
few minutes. There's my co host, Mike, please say hi.

Speaker 6 (03:29):
Hi.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
No, I know, but then all of a sudden, Yeah,
he's been sitting in the corner, but he's just all
of a sudden, then he starts talking. You're like, wait
a minute, there's a guy on the phone too, So
I like to break the ice, as they say, anyway,
back to you, Jeremy.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Sorry about our craziness. We were wondering if you have
a few minutes because Margo called us.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
She listens to our show. She told us that she
went on a date with you. She really enjoyed the date,
expected a second date.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
She thought it was so good and hasn't heard anything
from you, which you can imagine would be frustrating. So
on her behalf, we're trying to get some answers. So
if you have a couple of minutes, why haven't you
been getting back to her?

Speaker 6 (04:10):
Oh well, this is unexpected, it sure is. Yeah, Okay, honestly,
she looks nothing like her pictures in real life, and
oh no, god, yeah, I feel kind of misled.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
How different does she look? I mean, we've heard this before,
but and does that if she's a nice person. Well,
I'm not going to go down that road.

Speaker 6 (04:44):
Oh no, no, no, she's not only nice. I mean, let
me let me clarify. She's way hotter in person and
she is in pictures.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Oh now that we never hear she's hotter than her
picture are interesting?

Speaker 6 (05:02):
Yeah, like too hot, like out of my league hot.
And frankly, I'm really intimidated. And I don't. I don't,
I don't. I don't think I can be with her.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
But Jeremy, she said the date went well, he loved
the date, and she's calling you. Yeah, so like, at
what point do you go? Like?

Speaker 4 (05:21):
I think I tricked her into thinking I'm cool, Like.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
He has that what is it called imposter syndrome or something.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Yeah, don't get me wrong. I know your vibe because
I feel that with my wife. I do you have
said that before?

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (05:34):
I do feel like, look like I got to keep
her drunk to like like maybe she'll realize. Oops. Eleven
years later, I married the weird guy.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
But she took the effort to actually call us at
a radio station to find out.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
That's how much she likes you. Yeah, and you think
that you're out of her league. So why don't we
just go to the source, because Margo has been listening
in Margo.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Do you feel that you're out of Jeremy's league? We
know the answer here, but go ahead.

Speaker 5 (06:03):
Please No, I don't think so. I think we had
a great time. I'm surprised to hear this.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
So Margo, let me how do I do this without
sounding how much? So many of you lost the weight?
I mean, I'm assuming it's weight because.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
With pictures maybe not.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
I mean, it could be makeup, it could be hair,
it could be anything.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
Margot, did you lose weight?

Speaker 5 (06:30):
I guess a little. I've been working out.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
More, but.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
We're talking weight. So first of all, congratulations Margo. That's awesome.
That is Second of all, this is the world's greatest compliment.
H Jeremy's like, you're too hot for me? Yeah, And Jeremy,
stop putting yourself down man, Like I know, I get it,
Like I had the confidence issue too. It all, but
all it takes is one All it takes is one girl,

(06:58):
and it sounds.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Like that their is Margot. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (07:01):
I mean I felt like I got away with it
on one date and I probably she'd realize I'm not
good for her on the second date. So I no, she.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Did not called you, she texted you. She's calling a radio.

Speaker 6 (07:15):
Station and decide mean once you're on the radio.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Yeah, Jeremy, let her decide that you're not good for her.
Do you decide that you're not good for her?

Speaker 7 (07:28):
More?

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Confidence is what you do.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
I get it, though, Jeremy. I have been in this
situation before. I ended up marrying the girl, so that.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
Just go with it.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
I say, go with it.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
Are we convincing him?

Speaker 2 (07:45):
I'm going to ask the question if Jeremy would go
out with you again, Margo, since she called us, it
would be on us.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Would you go out with him? Of course?

Speaker 8 (07:54):
Definitely.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
And Jeremy come on like, this is the greatest compliment ever.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Jeremy go out with her.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
Jeremy, do it again?

Speaker 6 (08:02):
Please, I will go out with you again.

Speaker 4 (08:06):
Yeah, thank god.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
Okay, now, Jeremy, listen, Jeremy, listen. I need you to
just don't be anything different than what you are. Be awkward, Okay.
Margo sounds like she likes the awkwardness of you, and
also she knows where the awkwardness is coming from, so
it's a compliment in a way.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Yeah, and she just likes him, and that's all that matters.
So don't overthink it, Jeremy. Just have a great time
on the date. Two nice people having a nice time.

Speaker 6 (08:34):
Okay, Okay, yeah, you guys, you're all great. Thank you.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
I love I love you. Jeremy, you got this.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
Building is confidence.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
Yeah, just let it, let it happen.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
I'll come to I'll come well out.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Well, best you'll have a double date with you and
your wife. All right, best of luck on your second date.

Speaker 6 (08:57):
Okay, thank you, guys.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
Jeremy, call her now, please hang up and call her now,
right now.

Speaker 6 (09:02):
Right now, I will, I will, thank you.

Speaker 4 (09:03):
Bye.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Mike and Diane's second date update on ninety five point
one WayV. Margo from Ventnor is looking for a second
date update with a guy named Jeremy.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
Hi, Margo, how are you today?

Speaker 5 (09:15):
Good morning, I'm good.

Speaker 9 (09:16):
How are you?

Speaker 1 (09:17):
Guys?

Speaker 2 (09:17):
We're living the dream, just wondering about your date and
seeing if we can help you out here. So please
tell us about your date with Jeremy.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
Yeah, we went out. We had a great time. We
had dinner and drinks. We had good conversation and I
thought he was cute and nice, and you know, I
thought that we were off to a really good start
and I haven't heard from him, so I don't know
what happens.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
Did you tried texting them or calling and just nothing?

Speaker 6 (09:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (09:46):
I tried texting and there was no response. And at
the end of the date he had said he wanted
to go out again. So I just I don't know
what happened.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Yeah, I don't know why people say that. We hear
that a lot. Yeah, let's get together again, Like why
even bother saying it if you don't want to do it,
But because.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
It's the easy way out for whatever they did wrong. Oh,
it's easier to say that than to tell them what
they what was wrong?

Speaker 4 (10:09):
And ah, I'm not into it.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
Okay, all right, Well we have to find out.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
And you have to have the conversation then when you
can try and avoid it, and and the one percent
chance that we are involved right now, you have to
explain yourself.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
Oh, he's going to have to explain himself if he
picks up.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
So what we'll do, Margo is put you on hold,
We'll play a song, we'll try to get Jeremy on
the phone and get some answers. And that is coming
up next on ninety five point one w A YV.
People may finally be over it and it's not even
fall yet. It's Mike and Diane on ninety five point
one WayV. I'm talking about pumpkin spice always making headlines

(10:50):
in August, so once in a while in July, and
it's known as the standard of fall. You would agree, right, Mike,
pumpkins spice, Yes.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
But survey says, guess what, it's not the number one
fall flavor anymore.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Nearly half of people are tired of pumpkin spice. So
I've got the top five fall flavors. See if you
like these, I mean, pumpkin spice is still in the
top five.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
It's just not number one.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
I'm hoping pumpkin I'm not. I'm not hoping, but if
pumpkin spice is gonna be that thing when they look
back at like let's look at the early two thousands,
Like pumpkin spice was.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
A flavor everyone loved, and now it's not even cracking
the top ten.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
All right, here we go, all.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Right, So at number five, Maple, I like that. I
like it too.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
We're it makes me think.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
Fall, it does, and it makes me think almost winter.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
It does yeah, and not it's comforting. Number four is
pumpkin spice, and that's a tough fall from that number
one spot up there. Who yeah, Number three I love
candy apple, all flavors hard here. Number two is salted caramel. Yes,
I'm in for salted caramel if you on chocolate and
also on the apples.

Speaker 3 (11:57):
I didn't know that was a fall Evidently it is
now salted caramel. I think of the boardwalk.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
To be honest, well, it's morphing into fallay according to
this survey.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
And the number one fall flavor is cinnamon. I like
an apple cinnamon and even apple cinnamon flavor.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
But again, like pumpkin spice, too much cinnamon.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
Is is too much?

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Oh you only need a little bit, that's for sure.
One time I was making a recipe. I know you're
shocked to hear that. Years ago. That was probably the
boldest statement. Well, now, I didn't put cinnamon in the
chicken nuggets. It was actually I was baking and I
misread how much cinnamon, and oh.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
Boy, I mean it was yeah, I was overloaded. It
was not number one. No.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
That's the one thing about pumpkin spice is that you
it's it's it is very hard to over pumpkin spice something.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
Yeah, either a pumpkin spice or you don't. Yeah, that's it.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Yeah, all right, So let's do our own survey best
fall flavor. Let us know and talk back on the
free iHeartRadio app search w A y tap that red
microphone and record. We'd love to hear from you anytime.
Is turkey a dating deal breaker? So Mike and Diane
show in ninety five point one WayV let me explain please.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
I was talking to my cousin and she is.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Dating a guy that only wants to eat Thanksgiving foods
on Thanksgiving. She said the other night, you know, why
don't we have a turkey brust And he says, oh no,
I only eat that on Thanksgiving.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
So they started talking about it more stuffing. I think
it's the cranberry sauce. Definitely the turkey. This guy wants
to keep it so special for Thanksgiving, that's how much
he loves it. He doesn't want to eat the food
year round. And she's saying to me, have you ever
heard of that? Like? Is that weird? Liz?

Speaker 4 (13:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (13:48):
Is it a deal breaker?

Speaker 3 (13:49):
I mean it's a little weird, but I I get it,
but I mean, also you shouldn't. It's not a deal
somebody's dietary choices shouldn't be.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
A deal breaker.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
No, I like that odd category of dietary choices because
I wouldn't be married if that was the issue with
dietary choices because I eat like a five year old.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
That's a good point, Mike, it's it's not that's not
how they like.

Speaker 4 (14:09):
That's not how they treat you. Yeah, like judge them
on on how on them to you, not them to them.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
Turkey breash should not be a dating deal breaker. So
what it sounds like you're saying.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
I mean, hey, I get it. That kind of sucks,
like you can't have a turkey breas, but like no stuffing,
I'm gonna have stuffing.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
This guy really loves Thanksgiving.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
You can you can not have stuffing.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
But we want to know.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
I told her I would ask our radio family members.
Is that a dating deal breaker?

Speaker 1 (14:37):
You only eat Thanksgiving foods on Thanksgiving? Leave us a
talk back.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
If you get a chance on the free iHeartRadio app
search WayV tap that red microphone.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
Let us know so my cousin can find out what
you think.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Or also give us a call a guy will only
eat Thanksgiving food on Thanksgiving Day. It's Mike and Diana
on ninety five point one WayV. It's a guy that
my cousin is dating and she wants to know. Would
that be a dating deal breaker for you? Colleen in
Atlantic City?

Speaker 1 (15:05):
What do you think?

Speaker 10 (15:07):
I don't think it would be a dating deal breaker
for me, But I do think it's a little funny.
You know, if you love the Thanksgiving food so much,
wouldn't you want to eat it all the time?

Speaker 1 (15:17):
You would think. But he's saying that he wants it
to be special, that it's he equates that with Thanksgiving.
So no, don't don't make a turkey throughout the rest
of the year.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
I gotta be honest, I don't.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
I don't think I have a turkey outside of like
a turkey sandwich.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
Oh you don't know.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
Oh okay, there's no random Thursday where I get home
and I'm like, you know what I want to do?

Speaker 4 (15:38):
Bake a turkey?

Speaker 1 (15:39):
All right?

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Well, maybe we're getting somewhere, but you love your Thanksgiving turkey, right, Mikey?

Speaker 4 (15:44):
Just in what world?

Speaker 3 (15:46):
Or do we have the time to cook like that?

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Well, my husband bought this smoker. Yeah, and he puts
a turkey breast on the smoker. So we have that
maybe I don't know, every other month or something.

Speaker 4 (15:57):
It's different.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
It is a little different.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
It's way different.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
And the turkey sandwich obviously, yeah, that's significantly different.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
I think.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
All right, Well, like I said, I'm gonna pass this along.
I'm so Colleen. It is not a dating deal breaker
for you.

Speaker 10 (16:10):
Not a deal breaker?

Speaker 1 (16:11):
No, okay, And now are we all hungry for turkey?

Speaker 8 (16:14):
No a little bit.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
It's not no, no or not. It's not November.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
Ninety five point one w a YV playing the dumb
criminal song.

Speaker 4 (16:25):
I've just been handed an urgent and horrifying news story
and I eat all of you to stop what you're
doing and listen.

Speaker 6 (16:33):
No.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
Well, couple's therapies not for everyone.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Oh boy.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
Sometimes you get a fight on your way there and
you're like, well, work does that when we get there.
And sometimes the fight is so bad that the boyfriend
and the passage goes I'm done, let me out on
the way to couples therapy. Yeah, they broke up and
and he was like, just let me out of the car.

Speaker 4 (16:57):
It's not working. I'd like, just break up Rightees?

Speaker 3 (17:04):
So why is this in no way news? Why is this?

Speaker 1 (17:08):
Why more to the story?

Speaker 3 (17:10):
Yeah, because he got out, started walking, and she decided
the best course of action was to just run him over.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
Oh is that what she thought? Okay?

Speaker 2 (17:19):
Yeah, she should have been on the way to anger
management instead of couples therapy.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
Yeah, and she just kept driving. Oh okay, Actually she
claimed she didn't see him.

Speaker 6 (17:31):
Whoop.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
Sure later a minute. She was just too shocked to
stop immediately.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
Did she still? Now?

Speaker 2 (17:39):
I shouldn't ask if she still made the appointment or
I guess not because he took to cancel.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
Remember, Yeah, she took a short.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
Cut across the curb.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
Yeah, there, quicker.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
Because I've heard of people going to couples therapy on
their own when the other person doesn't want to go,
doesn't want to go, But yeah, you don't run someone over?

Speaker 4 (17:54):
Does that? Does it work? Well? That worked? Well?

Speaker 1 (17:56):
I I haven't tried it yet as my husband. Maybe
we need it. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
You know what, I'm.

Speaker 3 (18:01):
Gonna just say this now we're good. I'm actually would
love to have like a couple's therapists in here and
like talk to them. Yeah, not for like couple's therapy,
but like just talk to them, but like what what
what is it?

Speaker 4 (18:13):
Like?

Speaker 3 (18:14):
What can you do? Because I just feel like talking
to somebody would just create more fights, Like when you
get home, Like it's great in a room, but when
you get home, be like, this is what we were
talking about.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
It's not for everyone, I hear, but certain things that
you have on your mind that you know is going
to start a fight or you're they're too sensitive. They
say you can get that out in a neutral atmosphere
and someone that's not judging you, and some people swear
by it, so hu hey, if it works.

Speaker 3 (18:38):
If it works, it works, it's why not.

Speaker 4 (18:40):
It's like the uh, the old joke like what is
your love language?

Speaker 3 (18:43):
Is just whatever the other one's not doing at the moment.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
That sounds like a couple therapists.

Speaker 4 (18:49):
That's how I feel about love languages.

Speaker 3 (18:51):
Ask somebody their love language if you ever want to
know what their partner's not doing.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
It's Mike and Diane on ninety five point one WayV
less than a month away until the beginning of fall.
September twenty second is the first day of fall, and
I overheard a lady outside of our office building say
something that she was so excited for fall, and I
thought it was so cute. She was telling another lady
on the phone, and hey, I wasn't trying to eavesdrop,

(19:19):
but she was talking kind of definitely. She was talking
kind of loud as I'm walking to my car.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
I couldn't help it, but she was saying, I can't
wait to take my daughter to her first pumpkin patch.
And I just thought that was so cute, big moment looking.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
Forward to the fall, and I started thinking about some
other things that are coming up in fall that we
can look forward to. Now, let me do a disclaimer.
I am a summer girl. I wait for summer. I
count down to summer. You know that I love the
warm weather. But as a backup, fall would be my
second favorite.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (19:51):
See, I'm a late spring, early early fall person.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
Okay, your late spring is beautiful too.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
I don't love of the end of fall where everything's
kind of on the ground and winter.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
See, I'm a non winter person, so that's I equate
the end of fall with Hey, yeah, winter is coming.
Wasn't that a part of a TV show Game of Thrones?

Speaker 4 (20:14):
Yeah, Winter's coming in something like that.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
But for fall, I would say the first thing that
popped in my mind was scary movies.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
A lot of scary movies come out in the fall
leading up to Halloween. So that's one thing. Anything specific that.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
You're just honestly, this is gonna sound so cliche and textbook.

Speaker 4 (20:33):
The weather.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
The weather in the early fall, when it gets down
to the mid seventies, it's almost sweatshirt weather, but it's
not quite. You're still it's still perfect outside. You can
still drink coffee with a little morning chill on the porch.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
Oh that's nice.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
That's my life.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
Now you are selling it that I.

Speaker 3 (20:52):
Used to be. Like, we can go to the beach
in the and the New Yorkers and the Philly people
aren't there. Now I'm just like, I don't want to
leave my house. It's too hot to be outside in
the summertime. Sometimes that's true. I can I can get
my grass to start growing back.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
Like take the dogs, take the dog out walk. I
miss I missed that every single day in the fall,
we take our dog.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
Please tell me where it is fall weather in New
Jersey all the time.

Speaker 4 (21:20):
Because Florida. You can't say Florida. That's just too.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
Hot, that's too hot.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
Where is it seventy five in sandieg San Diego, San Diego. Yeah,
maybe San Diego.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
San Diego is whenever it's a perfect day, I say, hey,
it's San Diego weather today.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
I see. I lived in San Diego for four months.
I remember watching the weather in the mornings because I,
you know, I was playing baseball, so I had like
halfway prepare myself. It took two weeks before I realized
it's the same every day, the same every day.

Speaker 4 (21:46):
It's the same every Just trust it and go.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
I remember them saying it's partly cloudy today, and I
remember looking outside, like.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
Eh, there it is.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
Found it found over there, found the one cloud to
make it partly cloudy.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
That's why they pay the big bucks to live there.
It's part it really is.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
You haven't lived until you've run the boardwalk every day
and had e raised dolphins.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
Nice.

Speaker 4 (22:07):
That is the best place on earth.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
Well back to earth. Here in non San Diego we
are some some people are counting down to fall.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
Let us know what are you looking forward to when
it comes to fall. You can give us a call,
or how about on the free iHeartRadio apps, search WayV
tap that red microphone and.

Speaker 1 (22:25):
Leave us a message. We would love it. A lot
of people getting.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Excited for fall. First official day, September twenty second. It's
Mike and Diane on ninety five point one WayV Kelsey
from Atlantic City.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
What are you excited for when it comes to fall?

Speaker 9 (22:40):
Oh?

Speaker 10 (22:41):
The colors? Okay, I am such an Earth colors person.

Speaker 9 (22:44):
I love the greens and oranges and all of that.

Speaker 6 (22:48):
And I mean, ud season, it's up season.

Speaker 9 (22:51):
I get to pull out my ugs, put on my
tights and my hoodie.

Speaker 7 (22:55):
I just love it.

Speaker 9 (22:56):
Halloween is coming up.

Speaker 10 (22:57):
I mean, how can you not be excited about this?

Speaker 1 (23:00):
Wow? I like that you should be an ambassador for fall.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
Honestly, I spent so much time on the road and
especially in like the Parkway. When it is fall and
the colors are popping, it is it makes the drive
just a little bit more enjoyable. It is pretty Yeah,
for sure.

Speaker 11 (23:18):
I like that.

Speaker 10 (23:19):
You know.

Speaker 3 (23:19):
I spend a lot of time on a golf course too.
When the colors pop, they pop and the weather is perfect,
and I'm all in.

Speaker 4 (23:26):
I'm with you.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
Yes, I love it.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
And and the fact that you agree, and I love
that you mentioned uggs. I can just feel them on
my feet right now. Thank you, Kelsey.

Speaker 10 (23:37):
The warmth of it, the comfort, I am so ready
for it.

Speaker 6 (23:41):
Yeah. My crocs who off today?

Speaker 1 (23:44):
That's it.

Speaker 8 (23:44):
I'm gonna do it a little early.

Speaker 3 (23:45):
I'm dusting a box off.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
Sure they do everything else or early? Why not?

Speaker 3 (23:48):
My crocs have air conditioning because they have holes so
the air will flow right there.

Speaker 1 (23:53):
It's great, all right, Kelsey, we'll have a great fall.

Speaker 10 (23:58):
All right, you too, Halloween.

Speaker 4 (24:01):
Oh we'll do that yet.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
Ninety five point one WayV. It's the Mic and Diane
Show with special guests in the studio.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
Mike, who do we have here?

Speaker 3 (24:11):
I had to wake two children up very early to
get here today because soccer season is upon us.

Speaker 4 (24:16):
My wife is a varsity soccer coach.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
So and these two are too immature and untrustworthy alone.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
Oh I don't know about that.

Speaker 3 (24:25):
Left alone, So we left.

Speaker 4 (24:29):
I brought the kids today.

Speaker 1 (24:31):
And McKinley, Hi, everybody.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
They're always good when they visit. I have to say
they are. They are very good, very good.

Speaker 3 (24:39):
They go into what they call the cave, which is
just under the desk, under the desk, and they usually
play their iPads.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
It is more fun to call it the cave, though,
isn't it than under.

Speaker 4 (24:49):
The desk without a doubt, without a doubt.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
Well, I have some news for Landon and McKinley, and
I want to see what they think.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
About this because it has to do with Disney and
Disney World.

Speaker 7 (25:00):
I've only been the two times in my life.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
Did you love it?

Speaker 7 (25:03):
I can't remember it. I don't remember.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
Because oh, okay, you got to get back there.

Speaker 4 (25:10):
Then, all right, what do we got?

Speaker 1 (25:12):
Okay, we have it.

Speaker 4 (25:13):
I'm trying to tell them, don't talk over you so much.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
That's okay, I just saw.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
I'm excited, but I'm still doing radio rules over here.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
I'm excited for them because Dad has to start saving
some money because new rides and attractions are coming to
the Disney theme parks at Disney World. The Magic Kingdom
is adding two new lands, one with a villain's theme. Yeah, villains,
And I was wondering do the villains walk around? Someone
asked me this recently. Do the villains walk around Disney World?

Speaker 3 (25:42):
I guess so last time we were there.

Speaker 4 (25:46):
Who who's the Beauty and the Beast? What's his name? Gueston?

Speaker 1 (25:48):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (25:49):
Yeah, he walks around.

Speaker 3 (25:50):
Oh I don't remember seeing too many other villains.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
About Cruela de Ville from the Dalmatians.

Speaker 3 (25:56):
Yeah, I don't see I haven't seen her because they're
not the domains aren't featured.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
Okay, what's happening here? We've okay, how about this one
on Landing?

Speaker 2 (26:07):
You're gonna like this another land for Pixar's Cars, the
Cars movie. It's going to be a whole section of
Disney World that they're opening a new land.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
Good good, responts you like cars?

Speaker 11 (26:22):
I did when I was I'm I'm just going to
tell you that I have a whole.

Speaker 7 (26:29):
Monster truck collection still.

Speaker 11 (26:31):
Oh, still collecting, Okay, still collecting?

Speaker 3 (26:39):
Yes, okay, yes, Well.

Speaker 4 (26:42):
How old are you? Land? It was three when you
were born, or maybe it was four, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (26:49):
Yeah, So there's a visual of what's going on in here.
My five year old daughters now climbed up on a
desk and basically corking. That's basically what's happening as we're
trying to focus on what we're talking and.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
The music's not even playing, it's just working. Also, there's
another land based on Monsters inc. Do we like Monsters inc?

Speaker 7 (27:08):
I haven't seen it a long time, but I want
to see it. Again sometime.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
Good answer, Okay, I like that.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
Now, Disneyland in California is celebrating their seventieth anniversary next year,
and they're going to have some new things, including a
Cocoa themed land.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
So there's true.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
Yeah, we watched Coco every single day for like a
year straight.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
Well, then you have to go to Disneyland in California.
You guys want to go there?

Speaker 4 (27:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (27:33):
Chill yeah, chill out.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
Well that is your Disney News.

Speaker 3 (27:40):
Whose idea was it to put these two.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
On the heir Dad has to get another job to
save up because there's a lot going on at Disney.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
Yay, all right, thank you guys.

Speaker 4 (27:49):
Back in your cave and be quiet again.

Speaker 3 (27:51):
Back in your cave and be quiet. This was the
worst idea ever. You didn't even get to talk.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
I'm talking all right, yes, say each of you. We
want to say a message.

Speaker 7 (28:04):
Got bad?

Speaker 4 (28:04):
That okay?

Speaker 3 (28:06):
Life, This is my.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
Life, okay, Landon. You know what, Mike, it sounds just
like our coworkers.

Speaker 4 (28:15):
Honestly it does.

Speaker 3 (28:17):
McKinley, babe, honey, love have fun you guys.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
This is not this is gonna go bad.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
It's my fault. I'm laughing at them.

Speaker 12 (28:28):
Oh Mike and Diane's second date update on ninety five
point one w A y V Jack from Northfield is
looking for a second date update with a woman named
Ellen Jack.

Speaker 1 (28:40):
How are you this morning?

Speaker 13 (28:41):
Hey, good morning, guys.

Speaker 6 (28:43):
I'm doing well.

Speaker 13 (28:43):
Thanks, how are you doing well?

Speaker 1 (28:45):
Thanks?

Speaker 4 (28:46):
Good? So good, so good.

Speaker 1 (28:48):
Just really curious about your date. So please tell us
about your date with Ellen.

Speaker 13 (28:53):
Yeah, so we You know, Ellen and I had been
talking for some time and we finally decided to go
out on a date. And it has to probably be
one of the coolest dates that have gone on, mainly
because her vibe was just so chill and so like
she can really hang, you know, she can hang like

(29:14):
one of the guys that we went to the bar
of a billiards lounge and it was just it was
really enjoyable. Didn't feel like I didn't feel like I
was on this first date.

Speaker 7 (29:23):
You know.

Speaker 13 (29:24):
It was just like we were having a really good
time and I I really, I really liked her, and
I thought she felt the same. At the end of
the date, when when it ended, I had shared I
wanted to see again. She seemed like she wanted to
see me again as well. She said that she did
so and then we went our and then we went
our separate waves. But now I can't seem to hear

(29:45):
back from her. I'm not really sure what happened. She
sort of just has disappeared. So hopefully you guys can
help me get to the bottom of what's going on.

Speaker 1 (29:54):
We're so good that we will. We will try for sure,
you guys.

Speaker 4 (30:00):
So I don't know if I'm being sarcastic. We are
for good at that.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
It sounds like a good date, though, because sometimes on
that first date it thinks can be uptight and so
you may feel like, oh, is someone putting on an
air or something. But it sounded like you said chill
and sounded like a fun date. So that's frustrating that
she said she'd get together with you again. You've heard nothing,
So let's get to it. Hey, if we are good
at doing this, we might as well do it right away.

(30:23):
So we'll put you on hold, we'll play a song,
and we'll try to get Ellen on the phone and
get some answers. And that is coming up next on
ninety five point one WayV. Ninety five point one WayV.
It's Mike and Diane with second date update a few
minutes ago, Jack told us about his first date with
Ellen at chill Date. Jack actually said it was one

(30:43):
of the coolest dates he's been on, and she has
a Knockouten back to him, said to him that she
wanted a second date.

Speaker 1 (30:50):
But Jack, you haven't heard anything correct.

Speaker 13 (30:53):
Nope, she's just disappeared.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
Okay, let's get to it. We're calling her Jack good
luck my friend.

Speaker 8 (31:05):
Hello.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
Hi is this Ellen?

Speaker 3 (31:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (31:08):
This is oh good morning Ellen.

Speaker 2 (31:10):
It's Mike and Diane from ninety five point one WayV Radio.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
We're from a morning show. Please say hi to my
co host Mike.

Speaker 4 (31:18):
I'm just it always feels like I'm the baby like saying.

Speaker 3 (31:21):
Hi, do my baby, not like baby like I'm an
actual toddler.

Speaker 1 (31:25):
But at least we don't put you in the corner.

Speaker 4 (31:26):
Usually I'm literally in the corner.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
Oh yeah, as you are kind of head in behind
four screens, a desk, a board.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
Ellen. We're so sorry I.

Speaker 4 (31:36):
Have to walk in a circle to get to my seat.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
Again, we host a morning show. It might start to
make sense to you.

Speaker 3 (31:42):
If anybody has ever seen where I sit, you get
what I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Well, we got to call Ellen from one of our
radio family Radio family members by the name of Jack.
And Jack was telling us he went on a date
with you, speaking highly of yous, that it was one
of the coolest dates he's ever been on, and he
just has and heard anything. And we feel bad for
Jack because it's frustrating. So if you have a few
minutes from your perspective, please tell us how the date was.

Speaker 10 (32:10):
Yeah, okay, well it was fine fine. I mean, yeah,
we went to a sports bar and it was really casual,
which is totally fine. That's kind of what we talked about.
You know, I didn't want to do anything to fancy. Yeah,
and you know, he was cute. It was fun, good conversation.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
Uh.

Speaker 10 (32:32):
You know, we mostly just kind of hung out at
this bar, played pool, and you know, I've got brothers,
so I'm pretty good at pool actually, and so I
always try to win, which I did, okay, but you know,
after a while, somebody else came over and they wanted
to play as well. So Jack started playing with that guy,
which is totally fine. You know, was just hanging out

(32:54):
drinking my beer, and then they got onto like a
second game and then started playing for money, and then
he started losing money, and so you know, forty five
minutes later, I asked if he wanted to leave, and
he didn't. He wanted to kind of just keep playing
pool for a bit, So I don't know, it was

(33:16):
just a little bit like, Hi, I'm still here. I
thought we were on a first date. So it was
just a little too casual for even the casual setting
that we were in.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
So once it got to that, you know, playing for
money and kind of not really hanging out.

Speaker 4 (33:31):
But you just forgot that he was on a date.

Speaker 10 (33:33):
Yeah, yeah, like that, And I'm not like sitting there
like Hi, it's me, pay attention to me. But again,
it's a first date.

Speaker 4 (33:39):
But at the same time, you are, I feel like
a first date.

Speaker 3 (33:43):
Ye very Actually any date, not just a first date,
Like any date, you're allowed to be like hi, I'm here.

Speaker 1 (33:50):
I'm like hello, Yeah, especially a first date or when
you're just getting to know each other.

Speaker 3 (33:54):
Speaking of how I'm here, Yeah, hi.

Speaker 1 (33:57):
Jack higher.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
I try not to say that, right, Yeah, Jack's been
listening in Jack, what do you you've heard what Ellen
has to say?

Speaker 1 (34:08):
Did you have to play a game for money that night?

Speaker 13 (34:11):
You know what I mean? It totally makes sense now,
and I really apologize. I just I just got so
caught up in it, and I think Ellen was just
such a good sport about it. She didn't really make
a thing of it, So I didn't really register to
me that it was a thing. But now hearing your perspective, like,
I totally get it, and I apologize and hopefully I can,

(34:32):
you know, make it up to you in a more
in a less casual date, in a more proper setting.
So it makes sense. Yeah, I would. I would probably
feel the same way.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
So, oh wow, I like that Jack owned it. He apologized. Sometimes, Hey,
we all do dumb things and hindsight. Hindsight is twenty twenty. Well, yeah,
besides Mike, and we see it in a different light,
and it certainly sounds like you do.

Speaker 10 (34:55):
Did you like that explanation, Ellen, Yeah, I agree with you.
I really have appreciate Jack that you just like acknowledged
it without pushing back, and you understand where I'm coming from.
So I totally get your perspective that it just didn't
register because obviously I'm so cool that it.

Speaker 8 (35:15):
It seems like I was going with the flow, so
I don't want to handle embarrass using in front of you,
and that's why I was so adamant of like, let's
let's play another game, like so I could win.

Speaker 13 (35:27):
But obviously you know that wasn't cool. So I totally understand.

Speaker 1 (35:33):
I got to say I'd like you two together, just
over the phone.

Speaker 4 (35:37):
What's happening right now?

Speaker 1 (35:37):
I do. I'm feeling good about this, So I got
to ask the question, Adam impressed you can both play pool?

Speaker 2 (35:44):
Because I can't. Yeah, I tried, but not good. So Jack,
you called us, would you want a second date? It
sounds like it with Alan if she said yes.

Speaker 13 (35:52):
I would love a second date.

Speaker 1 (35:54):
Right, No, pool on the second day because it's on awesome.
We'll send you somewhere where they don't have the table,
or maybe.

Speaker 4 (36:00):
We do, and you can win all your money back.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
You can play Mike.

Speaker 4 (36:06):
Yeah, I can't.

Speaker 13 (36:07):
Lose too much money here.

Speaker 3 (36:09):
Oh my god, that's a great that's a great side business. Yeah,
that's it. I will be the guy you hire to
come and fail so you impress your date.

Speaker 1 (36:18):
Oh that sounds like an Adam Sandler movie.

Speaker 3 (36:21):
I like it.

Speaker 4 (36:22):
You're right. Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna write.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
It, write it, write it. Ellen, What do you say?
Would you want a second date with Jack? Yeah?

Speaker 10 (36:30):
I think I would give it another shot. It was
a really fun date, and I appreciate the you know,
explanation and apology and be happy to give it another go.

Speaker 1 (36:40):
Well, I am excited to hear how you two do.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
You sound really good over the phone, so please follow
up with us and good luck on your second date.

Speaker 13 (36:49):
Awesome.

Speaker 6 (36:50):
Appreciate your help.

Speaker 1 (36:51):
Guys, Mike and Diane.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
What would you do a ninety five point one way?
V Mike, it's time for us to try to give advice.

Speaker 4 (37:01):
Great, we're so good at this.

Speaker 3 (37:04):
I'm so excited every time you say this because we
do so well.

Speaker 2 (37:09):
Or maybe it's better to say our radio family members
can give most of the advice.

Speaker 3 (37:14):
We suck at this, so I'm just gonna call it out.
But it's great.

Speaker 2 (37:18):
We got an email and it says, Hi, Mike and Diane,
this is Anna. I have to ask you a weird
dating red flag question. Is it a red flag if
a guy likes to color in coloring books as a hobby.
He's twenty seven and in his apartment there were about
twenty coloring books in a giant box of crayons and
colored pencils. It was our fourth date. He never mentioned

(37:39):
to me that this was one of his hobbies. He
told me it helps him relax after a stressful day
at work. I didn't know how to respond and left
wondering why he likes to color like a five year old.
I told my roommate.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
She said it was weird, but he's really nice and
successful and good looking otherwise.

Speaker 2 (37:56):
But what do you guys think? Is he a weirdo?
Or am I overreacting? Thanks for your help. I'll be listening.
Love your show. Signed Anna, So we have to help Anna,
grown man coloring? Is it a deal breaker?

Speaker 3 (38:09):
I'm gonna give you my perspective, and then I'm sure
we'll get somebody else's perspective, which will be the complete opposite.
All right, Yeah, it's well, I guess I have to
preface this, but saying how good is he?

Speaker 4 (38:23):
I feel like that's an important question.

Speaker 1 (38:24):
He must be good if he's coloring that much.

Speaker 3 (38:26):
I feel like that's an important question. Are we coloring
like we're nine or are we coloring like we're twenty nine?

Speaker 1 (38:34):
He says it's relaxation. I think it's just the act
of having coloring books.

Speaker 3 (38:38):
Let me tell you something I have colored with my
kids before, and there there have been. They've looked at
me and got it like I'm done with this. I'm like,
I'm not done. I'm not done at this. I need
this to be great. It is a lot of fun
and it is very relaxing to color. And I don't
care what anybody says.

Speaker 1 (38:54):
I'm all, but you do have hids, so that makes
a breath and say, doesn't make it look weird for you.

Speaker 4 (39:01):
I've colored without my kids before.

Speaker 3 (39:03):
Oh okay, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely, as long as
he's good, keeps it in the lines, you.

Speaker 4 (39:11):
Know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (39:13):
That's their as long as we're not coloring like you know,
the Zoo Animal Book, and we have like adult coloring books.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
Because they do make adult ones and they're marketed to women.
So I'm thinking maybe it's the gender issue that if
a woman colors in the book, like my twenty seven
year old niece, she loves to call her you're on vacation.
And I even said, hey, that's pretty good coloring. You
aren't that good when when you.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
Were five and she said it was relaxing she was
coloring on the beach.

Speaker 3 (39:40):
I'm just going to go out and say it. There
is absolutely nothing wrong with this, okay, as long as it's.

Speaker 1 (39:47):
Decent that part, and I didn't mention that.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
Yeah, no, it has to be decent. If it's not decent,
it is a deal breaker, okay. And it's not like giraffes.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
Maybe maybe that helped, but I think it's a whole
guy thing that's throwing her off that he's calling.

Speaker 3 (40:05):
Yeah, well the girls. You you got weird stuff too.
Oh you all have weird stuff. We all have weird stuff.

Speaker 4 (40:10):
Get over it.

Speaker 1 (40:10):
Move on. Hey, we're humans.

Speaker 3 (40:11):
We all do if we're nine out of ten, who cares?

Speaker 1 (40:14):
But Anna is listening, So let's try to give her
some help. I'll leave us a message on the free
iHeartRadio app. It's talk back. When you're on wayv's page.
Tap that red microphone and just tell her what you
think there. Or of course, of course you can give
us a call help us on the way.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
Anna coming up next on ninety five point one WAYVY.
It's a Mike and Diane show, a ninety five point
one WayV.

Speaker 1 (40:37):
Is this a dating red flag?

Speaker 2 (40:39):
We got an email from one of our radio family members, Anna,
and she's dating a guy that likes to color in
coloring books. He said, it's his hobby helps him relax.
She thinks it's weird and wants to know if that
is a dating deal breaker. So let's check in with
Rebecca from Northfield. Rebecca, what do you think about this?
A grown man with coloring books?

Speaker 9 (41:01):
Okay, first of all, I could see why she would
wonder if it was a red flag, because, yeah, it
is a little strange to have a grown man be coloring. However,
I think it's really cool he's taking care of himself.
It's a meditation and mindfulness practice and it is known

(41:24):
to be a stress reliever, So I think it's cool
that he's doing something for himself purely for the benefit
of relaxation and mindfulness. And I think there's I think
it's a great tign actually, not a red flag, a
good sign that the man knows how to take care
of himself and that he's doing good healthy habits.

Speaker 3 (41:47):
Green flag. That's what I like to say.

Speaker 10 (41:49):
I like it, like that green flag.

Speaker 1 (41:51):
Yes, I like that positivity.

Speaker 2 (41:53):
And yes, he's taking care of his mental health and
he's relaxing and meditating. If this is what it takes,
he could be doing a lot worse, that's for sure.

Speaker 9 (42:03):
Exactly. Yeah, yes, and.

Speaker 2 (42:05):
I just think I had mentioned that it's the guy thing.
I think this throwing her off.

Speaker 1 (42:10):
If it's a woman relieving her stress by coloring, then
I don't think there'd be a red flag. But all right, well,
Anna is listening. Thank you so much, Rebecca, thank you
