Speaker 1 (00:00):
It is ninety five point one WayV. It's the Mic
and Diane's show. Waking up with you Monday morning. You're
probably not at work, but we are. And it snowed
a lot. By me, Diane, I don't know about you,
but I have no idea. But it snowed so much
all day? How much?

Speaker 2 (00:19):
How much did you get?

Speaker 1 (00:20):
We got nine inches of snow at my house and
I have egg on my face because I've been telling everybody,
all my friends, like we're going to get four, four
or five. And then I spent the entire day just shoveling.
It felt like like I went out and I tried
to like break it up to do like a multitude
of like not nine inches of snow at one time,

(00:42):
But it was like at seven am, I was out
there shoveling. At ten thirty, I was out there shoveling.
At two, I was out there shoveling. I went out
at like five o'clock as the sun was going down
to shovel again. I'm like this, this thinks.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Like this.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Back hurt. It's so bad this morning, I can't do
it anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Well, it's so hard to keep up with it when
it's coming down. We have my husband as a snowblower,
and he was out there early too, and he was
just snowblowing the whole kind of like the whole the
whole area neighborhood. Yeah, listen, maybe that's the whole neighborhood. No,
it gave us a little room to walk the dog.
And I actually only went out once during the day

(01:24):
thanks to my hobby to take the dog out, and
she was like, what is going on? But she likes it.
She likes it.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Yeah, we let our dog out front with us while
I was shoveling. So I actually spent pretty much all
of last week on YouTube trying to learn small engine
repairs to get my snowblower back going because we haven't
used it in three years. It wasn't like old gas
or anything. And I went through all of that. I
took the entire engine apart and put it back together,
with no concept of what part I was taking out,

(01:52):
just like that, plugged into that, no concept. I was
looking for the carburetor. Couldn't find the carburetor. For the
life of me, I knew what it looked like, find it.
Didn't find an air filter. I don't know what I
was looking for But if you need me to take
an injin depart and put it back together without knowing
what any of the pieces are, I now can do that.
Long story short, yeah, long story short. That the snowblower
didn't work, so I had the hand shovel everything.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Oh I was hoping.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
No, nope, nope, no, nope. I was hand shoveling everything.
My son all week was like, yeah, we're gonna I'm
definitely gonna help. I can't wait to go out and
shove with you. He shoveled one scoop and then was like,
I'm gonna go play in the snow. Yeah, okay, sure, buddy.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
That's that's the beauty of being a kid. You gotta
you gotta have fun. Any any snowmen, No, no, no snowmen.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Today it was almost too powdery. It was very very
powdery snow, so you couldn't really like pack it. Now.
Probably when I go home today we can because it's uh,
you know, iced up all all night. Now. What the
kids don't realize is I piled all the snow. Even
in my anger of having to shovel, I still piled

(03:00):
all the snow onto one corner of the driveway. So
I could make an a glue later, but I could,
I didn't have the energy to do it yesterday. So
I'll go today and start digging out the glue. I just,
I'm just, I'm just I'm so ready for them to
go back to school. Yesterday, Oh my god, school got
canceled like two o'clock, and it was like it was

(03:22):
like I gave them four pixie sticks each and they
had just shot out of a canon and I just
can't do it anymore.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Bouncing off the walls.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
It was crazy.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
No, I really felt bad for people yesterday and this
morning who have to work, who had to go in
early this morning, and all day yesterday. I heard about
some cops digging out some wah wah employees cars, and
so I just want to give a shout out to everybody,
especially yesterday and if you had to get in early
this morning for working, because that's that's rough. Yeah, I
mean today, including ourselves, we give ourselves a shout out.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Yeah, I mean, don't don't get me wrong. The drive
down this morning was interesting. Once I got to like
a main road, I was all good, but like it
was something I was too fast, too furious Tokyo drift
on my way out of my neighborhood this morning. Yeah. Everything.
If you're driving, by the way, if you're listening now

(04:15):
and you have to get into the car, be careful.
The roads are a complete ice.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Yes, please please be careful. And the problem with today
is with the icing that it's not even going to
get out of the twenties, so melting is out of
the question, so it is still dangerous to get out there,
so please be careful. And I feel bad for everybody
who had travel plans. My mother in law's travel plans
were postponed until tomorrow. They're going on a cruise, and

(04:39):
then there were like ten thousand flights across the country delayed.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
So what do you do that?

Speaker 2 (04:44):
What a big mess?

Speaker 1 (04:45):
What do you do there? What? Like if the crew
the cruise leaves, doesn't it But if like half the
cruise does going to leave.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
They're leaving on Tuesday. They're leaving tomorrow instead of today.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Oh interesting, all right, Okay, as long as they got
on the boat, you're in good shape exactly.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
So I don't know what the other people. I guess
they've got to get a hotel or probably the flights
were canceled anyway, So it's just it's a big old mess.
But it's going to be coldy and cold and windy today.
Like I said, the roads are still going to be icy,
so take it easy for sure.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
YEP ninety five hows do their works YEP ninety five
point one WayV. If you want to, hit us on
the talk back and tell us what the roads are
like in your area, we'll update the area. We have
the traffic guy. I know, but like we can, we
can do a better job. I think. Hit us on
the talkback, download the iHeart radio app. We'll put you.
You're now the traffic person. Tell us all about the

(05:38):
traffic in your area. Hit us on the talk back,
download the free iHeartRadio app. It's honestly the best way
to listen to us anyway, because there's no interruptions. There's
no like, oh the weather got funky, so the radio
wave came in and out and I missed my favorite
course of this. It doesn't happen. Plus, you can take
us in the work, put the ear pot in and
listen all the time. So yeah, make sure you download
the ihet app, listen to us on there, and then

(05:58):
hit us on the talk back and you're a traffic
reporter for today because I'm locking myself in this room
and I'm going to schedule meetings all day so I
don't have to go home and hang out with my
kids because I'm done with them. I'm officially done with them.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
I'm going to try to get home.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
I have twenty six lights on my fireplace mantle. If
you were.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Wondering, oh, twenty six to be precise, how.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Do I know that? Because my son counted? Why did
my son count? That's a better question. It's ninety five
point one WayV. I let my son watch Top Gun,
and then we watched Top Gun Maverick. My wife had
never seen it. I kept telling him it was the
greatest movie ever made, so good, and I wanted my
son to watch it. You know, he's nine, you know,

(06:43):
maybe a little young, but hey, let's get some boyhood
in here, right. So we watched Top Gun. We taught
watch Top Gun Maverick. And in the middle of the movie,
my son just goes, hey, Dad, did you know we
have twenty six lights on our mantle? Now, what are
you saying lights? He's talking about? I don't know. My
wife did some Pinterest stuff up there, uh, you know,

(07:04):
to make it nice. And I was like, oh cool,
what why why we like? Is your attention span that bad?
Because you were locked in for a long time on
this movie. And then I looked up at the screen
and I realized they're kissing. Oh there, it's the it's
the scene and top gun when they are take my breath.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Well, and that is some scene, I must say.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
But that can be awkward, yeap, watching kissing scenes with
your parents. That's my son has experienced that for the
first time they It was when I realized I kind
of tapped my wife and pointed at the screen and
pointed at the lights and pointed at him, and she
got it. And we have never laughed more because everybody remembers.

(07:52):
Everybody remembers the first time one of those scenes comes
on in a movie and you're watching it with your parents.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Oh I do it's awkward now, yeah. My dad would
get so awkward. What he would do is start, I
think I have to go get anyone want a snack
and he would always go out to the kitchen to
get a snack.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Why have I swim in that awkwardness? So it's perfect
for me where my son is not there yet. My
wife doesn't care, and and then there's me that's like, hey, buddy,
look at the screen. Jets take my breath, and then
you see him turn awake. Every time the two of
them were on the screen together, his head and eyes

(08:32):
would roll away from the screen, like I shouldn't be
watching this.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
At least he took it upon himself to not WATCHS.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
And then it got me thinking, like, what was the
first movie? Like? For me? The standout one is Titanic? Okay,
I think everyone of my age it was Titanic because
nobody saw that coming in that movie.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Yeah, that's yeah, the sketching scene are you talking about?

Speaker 1 (09:00):
You were a lot of little boys firsts you made
him a man. You you you took you took me
from a boy to a man. Oh, it's painful. My
parents they did not swim in the awkwardness like I do.
They were as awkward and painful as anything could ever
be during that scene.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
For us, it was more TV shows for some reason,
I don't remember what movie specific movies, but definitely TV
series that we would watch as a family. But it
was inevitable, especially if it's like at ten o'clock, because
you know, no DV are back then ten o'clock at night.
Then you know my dad would, Yeah, he was always
getting us snacks.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Hit us on a talkback with what your movie was
the everyone has one of these stories. Everyone, Yeah, what's yours?
Because everybody has it's then they're always funny, they're never
not funny. Hit us on the talkback, open the eyeheart
app hit the little red microphone. You should be listening
to us on there anyway, it's a better experience and
you can hit the little red microphone and boom right

(09:59):
then and there. Let us know what movie was the
awkward I'm watching this with my parents or I'm watching
this with my kids, and I definitely shouldn't be movie.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Definitely let us know. Mike and Diane's second date update
on ninety five point one WayV Christine from Brigantine's looking
for a second date update with a guy named Pete.
Hey Christine, Hi, how you doing.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
I mean, I'm pretty good. I just you know, want
some answers.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Okay, that's what we're here for. So please tell us
about Pete and about your first date and we'll take
it from there.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
He seems really cool. You know, we only went out
the one time, so I don't know, no, no him,
but I think that we had a great date, Like
the date itself was going really really well, and then
he actually went to the bathroom and during that time,
the waiter like spilled water all over me. And he
came back and was just so you know, concerned and

(10:57):
just being really really awesome about the whole thing. And
we actually got the meal for free, so that was
a bonus. But I just don't get it because he
was so cool in the moment and you know, caring,
and he seemed to really just almost want to like
take care of me also, So I don't know why

(11:17):
he wouldn't be calling me back at all.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
So the date was.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Great, Yeah, that doesn't sound right if you was so
caring in that moment. But then I know you haven't
heard anything from him at all.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
No, And I've only messaged twice because you know, I
don't want to be a psycho, but I just I
don't really get it because we ended that night so
so well, So I don't get it.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
All Right, Well, we need to get some answers for you.
So what we will do, Christine is put you on hold,
We'll play a song, and we'll try to get Pete
on the phone, and that is coming up next on
ninety five point one WayV ninety five point one WayV.
It's Mike and Diane's second date update. A few minutes ago.
Christine told us about her date with Pete. Went out

(12:01):
to dinner. Was a gentleman from the sounds of it.
He even was concerned when you had water spilled on you,
kind of took care of you. Is that ray? Christine's great,
but you haven't heard anything, so let's get right to it.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
Yep, Hello, Hi, is this Pete speaking.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
Sure, it's Mike and Diane from ninety five point one
Way V Radio. We host a morning show. There's my
co host, Mike. Hey, just wondering if you have a
few minutes. We got a call from one of our
radio family members, Christine. I'm sure that sounds familiar.

Speaker 5 (12:51):
Uh yeah, yeah, okay.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
She told us that she went on a date with you.
She told us all about the date. She was I
got to say, highly compliment entry to Pete. And she
doesn't understand why she's not hearing back from you. She
reached out, I believe twice and hasn't heard anything. So
just trying to get your side of the story, so
if you could please tell us what happened.

Speaker 5 (13:12):
Yeah, kind of funny that she she doesn't know all right,
so I don't know what she told you. But so yeah,
we went out to dinner, had a great time. At
one point I went to the bathroom. I came back.
She had said that the waiter spilled water on her

(13:35):
and that she was you know, she was really upset
and she was embarrassed. You know, I just I went
into like my normal, you know, emergency mode, and I
just try to take care of it, make her feel better.
She was really insistent that they were gonna com both
of our meals, not just her meal, but both of
our meals. And you know, I thought, oh, okay, you

(13:57):
know it's just water, but yeah, I get it. And
they did, in fact comp the meal. Uh and the
rest of the night was good. But the next day
so she didn't know this, but I just like to say,
I'm very good friends with the restaurant manager. And he
called me the next day and said, uh, you know, Hippy,

(14:19):
I checked the I checked the security footage, uh for
your your friend, and she spilled the water on herself,
what like poor like knocked the very purposely knocked the
glass over. It's spilled onto her, and I guess so
that she could get a free meal. Uh, And that's

(14:44):
just that, like that's that's just like a low life
thing to do. And I'm just like, I'm that was it?

Speaker 4 (14:53):
Yeah, it is.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
But I must I hate to say. I'd love to
see that security.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
I we watched YouTube video of this immediately.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Yeah, exactly. But you know, let's go straight to the source, Christine,
what's going on with that?

Speaker 6 (15:08):
Come on, I did not do that.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
You don't know video.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
No, I did not do that. The waiter came over
and he was like moving all the silverware, and I
was trying to get my hands out of the way
because the silverware was there, and he knocked the drink
all in my lap.

Speaker 5 (15:28):
I saw the video.

Speaker 7 (15:30):
I don't know what he saw.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
It could have been the wrong angle.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
Yeah, they could have got ale her bad side.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
Oh no, don't do that.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
Well the.

Speaker 5 (15:43):
Waiter, Yeah, you're right, the waiter was clearing up some stuff.
His back was like fully turned when the water went over.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
No, it wasn't. He knocked over the silverware and that
knocked over the cup.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
We need to see the evidence. Yeah, Like, how do
I get this Judges Mike and Diane in court. We
need to see this.

Speaker 3 (16:03):
Yeah, I called you guys for help, like this is
not okay.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
Oh well, well we helped you because we called the guy.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
But this is not the first time something like this
has has backfired.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
If you will, Yeah, you're very true.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
I didn't do anything wrong, and I don't understand why
you're not calling me back.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
You know what.

Speaker 5 (16:22):
Yeah, I to be honest, I didn't exactly know how
to tell you that I knew that you like faked
it to get a free meal.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
I didn't they deserve to give us the free meal.
Like I had water all over the entire date.

Speaker 5 (16:40):
I don't know if I spilled a glass on me,
I wouldn't demand somebody else paid for it.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
At least it wasn't red wine.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Yeah, maybe red wine. You would have got a little more.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
Yeah, definitely like a lifetime of free meals. YEA hard
to get out.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
If you're going to just listen to somebody who's lying
to you, then maybe I don't want to be with
you either.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Okay, I asked the question I could because make it official.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
We're not going anywhere, all.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
Right, Christine. If Pete said yes, and you can kind
of put this behind you, lose that video or send
it dust, so at least we can watch it. Would
you want a second date, it would be on us,
so you wouldn't even have to get the free date,
I mean the free dinner.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
I mean I liked Pete, but if he doesn't like
trust me, then I don't know.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
Yeah, trust is number one in a relationship. I would
think I didn't do that, Pete. What do you think?
Would you go on another date?

Speaker 5 (17:36):
You know what She's right? Trust is important and I
don't trust her because if I do trust my eyes,
I know what I saw right, Absolutely not?

Speaker 2 (17:46):
Okay, all right bye?

Speaker 1 (17:48):
All right, well hey, serious question, real question. Can I
get the video?

Speaker 5 (17:57):
I'll see what I can do.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
I don't even think there is video. I think your
friends lying to you completely.

Speaker 6 (18:02):
You just didn't like me.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
Well, either way, the answer is no, so move on.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
We'll see the evidence at some point. All right, Well,
best of luck to both of you. What Mike and
Diane's binge watch update on ninety five point one WayV.
This is where we all exchange ideas on which shows
we are binging can be old shows, can be news shows.
And I want to give you a couple from my household.

(18:29):
I just finished the binge, and I think your wife
will appreciate this, Mike. Emily in Paris season five, they finished.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
That in like a day and a half. Did the
whole thing come out at once?

Speaker 2 (18:39):
Ah?

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Trying to think or was it like episode by episode
dripping out?

Speaker 2 (18:44):
I believe it was all at once.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
See. I left every time I saw this on TV, Like,
I was like, oh, yeah, we have kids, my mother
in law, my sister in law, they're all just snuggled
up on the couch watching this. No, no Ah, it
brings people together. I was left with the kids for hours.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
Oh okay, I see, but it's only a half hour episode.
Oh but they were binging the whole thing. I say,
the whole thing, And Mike, just to give your heads up,
Emily in Paris was renewed for season six at Netflix. Yes,
now my hubby has been binging Sea Curse. I would
season two of HBO Max Is the Pit, which just
won all the awards, and that was renewed for season three.

(19:24):
And it sounds interesting because they're in the emergency room
and each episode it sounds like it's an hour. Yeah,
in the emergency room. So it reminds me of like
old school. Remember the series twenty four was a full hour,
so that sounds really good. That's what he's binging, So
I might try that next, Mike, what are you binging?

Speaker 1 (19:41):
Simple Traders? Finally something I can say. We and my kids,
both of them. I know the language is a little rough.
We didn't realize it when we I thought they bleeped
it out for like TV, but they don't. So every
time they curse, I have to be like, hey, not
that we both don't say that. Both of my kids
are obsessed with it now, my kids to the point
that we want to finish this and in between the

(20:03):
breaks in between episodes, now we want to go back
and watch like season one, two and three with them.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
Nice because this is the season four.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
Yeah yeah, wow, season four. I already hate everyone. My
queen Donna Kelsey is on it.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
I just can't wait to watch it. I just love
the lineup every year. My hobby hasn't watched it yet.
I totally watched the first you know what, he could
probably skip the first season, maybe watch two and three.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
Yea, yeah, yeah, because the first season was like half
celebrities and they weren't even like good celebrities.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
You told me that, and that's why I didn't watch it.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
Yeah, and then like half real people, so it's like,
I don't I don't care if Jim from Accounting as
a trader.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Now we want real housewives and we want Survivor, big
brother stars, et cetera.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Yeah, and Dona kel Ari from The Bachelor was like
the biggest celebrity on season one, and like, don't get
me wrong, he's a big celebrity in the reality world.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
But well, trust us, it's got much better.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
Season two, three, and four.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
The Traders is so good. I can't wait to watch it.
So enjoy that and let us know what you were binging.
Talk back on the free iHeartRadio app, or give us
a call. Mike and Diane's Binge Watch Update, the first
one of twenty twenty six, ninety five point one WayV
Joanna from Atlantic City, What have you been binging?

Speaker 3 (21:20):
Okay, this is.

Speaker 8 (21:21):
Really old school, but I am obsessed with Gossip Girl.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
I've never watched it.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
I just realized, uh, yeah, I'm checking out here. My
wife watched it. I'm done, see you later, have fun
you too.

Speaker 8 (21:31):
Oh my gosh, it's so good. It's rich people behaving badly,
and there's literally everything that can happen in the show
happens in the show, like people coming back from the dead,
people thinking they're sick when they're not. Like there's literally
like secret siblings, all of the things. It's so much fun,
a Ponzi scheme, everything happens.

Speaker 2 (21:50):
Oh, that's everything that I like in a series. When
you said rich people behaving badly, I immediately thought of
Real housewives. So why wouldn't I want to watch Gossip?

Speaker 8 (22:01):
And the clothes are amazing if you're into like that
kind of thing too, Like it's so much fun.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
Well, I am putting that on my list. I'm gonna
do a Gossip Girl binch. Thank you, Joanna, Yeah.

Speaker 8 (22:13):
You will, thank me.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
It is ninety five point one WayV. It's the Mike
and Diane Show. And we always joke that like we
barely work. When we do, we're in pajamas and stuff.

Speaker 2 (22:24):
You know, we're not supposed to tell the bosses that.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
I'm pretty sure our new bosses are like, yeah, whatever,
we're in pajamas too. It's radio baby. But outside of here,
I do run a youth baseball program and my number
one goal with that was that I wanted to run
a fundraiser that was a wrestling show because I wanted
to be involved. I'm now using this team as a

(22:48):
reason to follow my wrestling dreams. And no, I am
not talking about Greco Roman Olympic wrestling. We're talking pro
oh wow, which is always weird when you say pro
wrestling and it's you get it. I've gone rogue and
I saw another team post a fundraising like, screw it,
I'm doing it, and I emailed a wrestling promotion and

(23:12):
we're doing.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
It all right.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
Immediately I asked can I be involved? And they're like,
you can be a guest commissioner. I'm like, no, no, no,
I want to be slammed.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
You want to wrestle?

Speaker 1 (23:25):
Yeah, oh, come on. I'm thirty eight years old, Diane.
I grew up in the Attitude era. I grew up
Prime Stone Cold, Steve Austin, HBK DX and WO. I
grew up and I was a kid watching that. Yeah,
I'd like to be body slammed.

Speaker 3 (23:45):
Now.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
I will tell you I did get body slammed once
before in my life, when I was in way better shape.
Because I may or may not have been at a
wrestling school. Not not for the wrestling school, but the
wrestling school was there when I was happened to be there. Okay,
I got body slammed once. I blacked out. Oh boy,
that's why anybody uses that that dreaded word when they

(24:07):
talk about pro wrestling. I tell them, hey, go feel
the mat, go get body slammed once in your entire
everything will change about what you say. No thanks, So yeah, no,
I'm doing it, and I'm gonna do it in front
of about one hundred kids and all their parents. And
I've decided maybe I'll go through a table. What do

(24:30):
you think, Diane.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
Sounds like one of the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Oh that's flipping a table.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
No, no, I'm going through it.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
I think, yeah, go through a table. Okay, but just
be safe because you you got to come back to
work here.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
Imagine I lose my voice and you.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
Don't want to embarrass your family.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
Can you imagine I bounce off the table like it
doesn't break.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
That would be embarrassing. It would be way worse, but
you might go viral. It's hard to say if that happened.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
Yeah, longs very short in may anybody want to go
to wrestling show. It's for the kids.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
Time to practice, that's for sure.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
I am not practicing once. I'm gonna let it fly.
If they even let me, I'll sign my life way
to do it.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
Mike and Diane's movie update on ninety five point one
w A y V. We want to know if you've
seen any good movies lately. They could be streaming, they
could be in the theater. I have a couple that
I have seen recently in the theater, because you know,
I love getting my popcorn, my movie theater popcorn. I
saw Avatar, Fire and Ash.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
I plan on never seeing that.

Speaker 2 (25:41):
You didn't see any of them?

Speaker 4 (25:42):
No.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
I saw the first one and I was like, cool,
didn't grab me, didn't grab you? Really cool? Display it
Animal Kingdom?

Speaker 4 (25:50):
Oh is it?

Speaker 1 (25:51):
Yeah? That's like, yeah, okay, cool.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
I didn't want to watch the first one. I didn't
see the first one in the theater, and my hobby
loves it, And finally we were going to the second one.
I watched it and I did love it. I just
didn't get it before I watched it. But anyway, love
the first one, loved the second one, didn't love this
third one, and I'm pretty pretty easy audience. Oh I know,

(26:14):
and I'm three movies in deep now and I gotta go.
But it felt too much like the second one to me.
And then the other one that I saw in the
theater with songs Sung Blue with Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson,
and that that's a wild story about these people. It's
a true story, and there Neil Diamond karaoke performers and
the stuff that happens to them is kind of wild.

(26:36):
So I really liked it. It wasn't my favorite everbody,
I really liked it. And Kate Hudson got the Golden
Globe nomination. So those are any other movies too?

Speaker 4 (26:45):
No?

Speaker 2 (26:46):
Okay, watching Top.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
Guns, making my I'm compiling a list of movies for
my son to watch that's good, and he's still a
little young for a lot of them.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
There's so many older movies. I was thinking about the
other day that I got I write him down for you.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
He saw a clip of a movie online and I
want to watch. I know he will love it, but
I can't let him watch it because I've seen it
and it's one of the most vile movies ever. Oh Jackass.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
Oh yeah, And they're coming out with another jackass movie.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
That's how Yeah, that's how this all snowballed down the
hill And I'm like, yes, ninety percent of this is fun,
but not one the one where they're tasing each other's.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
Yeah, I may have to ball bag wait a few
years on that.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
Yeah, you did find that one, high school buddy.

Speaker 2 (27:33):
Sorry Landon. Yeah, So there's your movie update. Let us
know what you have been watching. Talk back on the
free iHeartRadio app, or of course, give us a call.
Mike and Diane's movie update on ninety five point one
way v Julia from Margate. Have you seen any good
movies lately?

Speaker 3 (27:51):
I have actually, uh so over the holidays, we really
wanted to watch this new Kevin James movie. But it
was kind of a little mix up because we swore
that it was being released in theaters like we were
already you know, oh yeah, families here, let's go to
the movies like the old days. And we were looking

(28:11):
for this movie. We're like, where is it? Well, I mean,
long story short, it ended up just being on Amazon
like they all are now. But it was a really
good movie. It was called Playdate.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
I ever heard of it?

Speaker 2 (28:25):
I have heard of it. Because I love Kevin James
there but no tell us a little bit about it though.

Speaker 3 (28:30):
Well he ends up being like weirdly friends with this
big strapping character, the guy from the Born Identity TV show,
not like Matt Damon, but the other guy. He's like
the new Jason Bourne or something. And there there's like
his sons with him, but then the other guy's like
alleged son is with him, and then they're in these

(28:51):
like high speed car chases and they're running from people
and it's just Kevin James being ridiculous, but it actually
holds up Like I was very kind of like, Okay,
this is what I remember movies used to.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
Be, like yeah, yeah, high speed car chases. Mike, that's
for you too, And I love Kevin James, so this
might be a good option.

Speaker 3 (29:09):
Funny. It was really funny, honestly.

Speaker 2 (29:12):
Playdate on Prime Video, Kevin James. Awesome, Thank you, Julia.

Speaker 3 (29:16):
You're welcome.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
Planning a family vacation this year. It's the Mike and
Diane Show in ninety five point one WayV and we
have the top family vacation trends. Mike, see if you're
on board with any of these for your family. Got
it kids will take on more of the vacation planning.
Eighty seven percent of parents plan to involve their kids
in choosing and planning family trips this year. No, No,

(29:41):
that's a.

Speaker 1 (29:41):
No, because everything they want to do is four hundred dollars.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
It helps them make feel make them feel more engaged
and enthusiastic, and make the experience better for everyone. But yeah, parents,
you're you're the one who has to pay, so that's
really up to you. Now you can maybe you can
make them feel like they're making decisions. Well, we'll lead
them down that okay, that's that's that's just as good.
Trips inspired by movies, TV shows, and books. This maybe

(30:11):
a little older kids. Sixty percent of parents say their
kids suggest travel destinations based on pop culture interest, including
Mama Me, Harry Potter, and the White Lotus. Again, the
White Loast that would probably be I'd actually like to
go to the places in the White Lotus, but I'm
not a kid.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
My kids would want to go to the Traders. I'm like, oh, okay,
we're just going to Scotland.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
Oh going to scott to a castle.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
Yeah, okay, again, that would be cool for them. For
seven to eight minutes.

Speaker 2 (30:38):
Yeah, what about the other week that's yeah exactly. You
would have to definitely get an itinerary.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
Go I'd taken my kids to Disney. I see how
fast they move. They're not a stop and smell the
coffee type of people.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Traders Castle, Yeah great, okay, dad, what are we doing next?

Speaker 1 (30:54):
What are we playing? Traders?

Speaker 2 (30:58):
No, short are popular for busy families. There's not always
time in the schedule to have a long vacation. Short
ones can just be as mood boosting, like a long weekend.
You could do that. Vacations featuring plenty of time for relaxing, recharging,
and reconnecting.

Speaker 4 (31:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
I know someone who went on a retreat type of
vacation where they had to all electronic devices were put aside.
So I think more families are doing that, and nostalgia
will be a major travel trend for this year. Life
is pretty complicated, as we all know, so that inspire
people to book vacations that remind them of simpler times.

(31:36):
Showing your kids where you went as a kid can
help strengthen bonds. That makes sense if you had fun
as a kid there.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
It does, I guess, yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
Guess anywhere fun that you went as a kid or
have you already gone there week?

Speaker 4 (31:48):
Got?

Speaker 1 (31:48):
I mean the one place, the one place I really
want to take my family, which is not the sexiest place,
but the one place that I took I always want
to and the reason I am a Chief fan is
the Kansas City. Now, to be fair, there's only one
thing to do there, and that's see the Chiefs to
a football game. Yeah, and get a barbecue. So like,
you can do that in the weekend, So like I

(32:10):
would have no problem flying out on a Saturday and
leaving on Monday night or Monday morning.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
Tickets are so expensive if you went to one of
the games, but you could go just visit Kansas City, Diane.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
Why else would we go to Kansas City?

Speaker 2 (32:23):
You could go to Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelsey Steakhouse.
That'd be expensive, though.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
Which is more expensive ticket and a ticket?

Speaker 2 (32:30):
Okay, let me, let me let's look up some other
things for you guys to do.

Speaker 1 (32:35):
I've been there. There's nothing.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
Stick with Disney, how about that? Okay, Well, if you
were planning a family vacation, have fun and be safe.
Mike and Diane's second date update on ninety five point
one w a y V. Brad from May's Landing is
looking for a second date update with a woman named Heather. Brad,
how are you today?

Speaker 5 (32:59):
I've been better?

Speaker 2 (33:00):
Yeah, you sound sad, Brad. All right, well, let's start
out by telling us about your first date and Heather. Please.

Speaker 7 (33:11):
The first date was great, met this amazing girl named Heather,
felt like we really clicked. Then I invited her out
to a New Year's party that my family was having,
super low key, like no stress, something we do every year,
and we you know, told her, hey, no pressure. You know,

(33:31):
we'll be out of there by twelve thirty, so it's
not going to be like a rager or anything. And
the bell drops, you know, we kiss, We're in, you know,
in and out by twelve thirty. We drove in separate cars,
so there was no pressure, you know, for anything else
to happen that night, and I thought things were went great.
I mean, this was our second date, so I guess

(33:53):
I'm kind of asking for a third date. But yeah,
so I'm just not sure because I have not heard
from her since, and you know, after the kiss especially,
everything went really well. So I just have no clue
why she's not calling me back.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
Yeah, because that is strange because it's not like she
bailed like ten pm or something. She actually lasted until midnight.
And that sounds like a great New Year's Eve to be,
you know, out of there by twelve thirty, isn't it.
So I have no idea, but we'll try to get
some answers for you, Brad. So what we'll do is
put you on hold, play a song, and we'll try

(34:30):
to get Heather on the phone. And that is coming
up next on ninety five point one WayV. Ninety five
point one WayV with Mike and Diane. Second date update.
A few minutes ago, Brad told us about his date
with Heather. It really was like a second date that
they had because you had a short date. First it
was coffee, you said, right, and then on New Year's

(34:53):
Eve you invited her to your family party and it
seemed to go well. But you haven't heard anything and
that's been a few weeks.

Speaker 7 (35:04):
That is correct.

Speaker 2 (35:05):
Nothing, okay, all right, let's get right to it.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
Here we go.

Speaker 2 (35:10):
We're giving Heather a call. Here we go.

Speaker 5 (35:19):
Hello is this Heather?

Speaker 4 (35:22):
This is hello.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
It's Mike and Diane from a morning radio show on
ninety five point one W a y V. How are you.

Speaker 6 (35:30):
I'm doing good? Did I did I win something or
not today?

Speaker 2 (35:34):
But keep listening because we're always giving away good stuff.
But please meet my comst Mike here.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
Hello.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
There he is was too far so he was adjusting himself.
I know this is very weird. Please don't hang up,
but we do have a reason for calling. We got
a call from Brad, one of our radio family members,
and he was telling us about your your first day,
your New Year's Eve date. He really enjoyed it and

(36:04):
sounded good, pretty good to us. He doesn't understand why
you're not getting back to him, so on his behalf,
we're trying to find out. So, how were those dates
for you?

Speaker 6 (36:15):
Well, I mean, honestly, they were they were great. I
mean we our first date, we went for some coffee.
It was very like kill and then yeah, he invited
me to his family's like New Year's Eve party that
they do every year, and you know, honestly, we had
a really good time. He's funny, he was hot, and uh,

(36:36):
you know, so all all the right stuff. But you know, honestly,
it's just by the end of the night, it just
didn't rub me right. Like so we obviously the ball
drops New Year's you know, it's that big moment. This
is our second date, and we I lean in towards him,
getting ready for the kiss, and his head has completely

(36:57):
turned a different direction, and I really that he's the
first kiss he's giving is his mom on the cheek
right at midnight, and I'm like, okay, well, I mean.

Speaker 5 (37:08):
I look great.

Speaker 6 (37:09):
I'm like, why aren't I the first person he kisses?
And then I thought, okay, well he's gonna turn around
and kiss me next, and then no, he goes and
he starts shaking the hands of his family members and
I'm just standing there. I don't know anybody at this party.
I'm standing there by myself for at least thirty seconds
to a full minute before he ever even like, oh shoot,
and like turns around and realizes I'm there. So I

(37:31):
don't know. By the end of it, I just realized,
like I wasn't that special and I'm pretty amazing, So yeah,
I just didn't rub me right, and I just kind
of just lost interest.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
Wow, for you, midnight kiss controversy, this is the first
I think on second date update interesting for you. I
think that was a joke. I think that we need
to bring the source of that kiss in Brad has
actually you've been listening in Heather, Brad no first kiss

(38:04):
it midnight to do Heather. Yeah, we got to go
to the source here. Brad, please say hi to head.

Speaker 7 (38:13):
Yeah, Hi, Heather. Hey, wow, I really didn't know you
felt that way.

Speaker 6 (38:20):
Well, I mean, it's really sweet that you love your family.
I mean, that's that's not a bad thing necessarily, but
it just felt like, you know, you invited me to
this party and then just kind of didn't. I didn't care.
I was there in the most important moment of the night.
I figured that's why you said to me was for
that moment.

Speaker 7 (38:36):
I invited you for a lot of reasons, and you
are amazing, But I felt like it was our second
date and I thought it'd be awkward if we were
just like, full on making out in front of my family.
I just wanted to keep it a little bit low
key and not make it awkward. But I see that
had the opposite effect.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
Yeah, that would be awkward, full on makeout. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
Yeah, I should have went for it. You know what
I'm doing this and this year, I'm going on her end.
I'm going on the bad guy end on this on
these on the ones I don't agree with. I'm just
going to play the heel. You should have kissed her
right on the lips, go.

Speaker 7 (39:17):
Make out with her in front of my mom, like,
hey mom, check this out.

Speaker 1 (39:20):
Wow, getting close by the hips, right by the butt cheeks.

Speaker 7 (39:24):
Damn, I know I can't do that in front of
my mom.

Speaker 2 (39:28):
I think she has this romantic notion that you know,
everybody thinks of that, that kiss hip midnight, And I
think she wanted obviously she wanted that that moment. I
think it took my husband a minute to kiss me, actually,
now that I think about it, but that's okay.

Speaker 7 (39:43):
And it was only it was only a minute, and
it wasn't like and it wasn't like I was making
up with my mom.

Speaker 6 (39:50):
It was Thank goodness, I was kiss Yeah.

Speaker 2 (39:52):
I was relieved when she said on the cheek, you know.

Speaker 7 (39:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (39:56):
All right, Well let's get to let's get to the question. Brad,
you're the one who called us. If if Heather said yes,
would you want a second date? It would be on us.

Speaker 7 (40:05):
I would I would love a second date. And I
promise I will make out with you the entire night.
I will be sucking your consoles if that's what it takes.

Speaker 4 (40:16):
Date.

Speaker 2 (40:16):
Oh, that's an offer.

Speaker 1 (40:18):
Is this is the first one where I think we've
I mean, we've not really done too many third date updates,
so maybe that's where this goes. Now, Yeah, second date,
it's like, oh, we'll get dinner and I won't talk
as much right now, third date we're talking about bedroom
stuff practice.

Speaker 2 (40:35):
That might be the fourth date, but yeah, third day.

Speaker 1 (40:38):
Right our way?

Speaker 7 (40:39):
Yeah, Heather, I will kiss you wherever you want first, Okay.

Speaker 2 (40:45):
We want to keep more jobs. Hoo far Heather, what
do you say yes or no? Please?

Speaker 6 (40:51):
Well, I'll be honest. When I heard that Brad was
on that it was this is about Brad, it kind
of like made my heart flutter a little bit. So
I'm thinking I'm going to lean in on that that
happened immediately and just give it a try.

Speaker 2 (41:03):
Okay, yeah, girl, yay, all right, never mind, all right,
we'll have a great time. I don't know what we're
going to be paying for. We said it's on us
on the next date.

Speaker 1 (41:14):
I mean, the motels are about one hundred and fifty
at night, not.

Speaker 2 (41:17):
The ones across the street from here. They're like pay
but you can pay by the hour, so we'll pay
for an hour two hours.

Speaker 1 (41:23):
Yeah, I might be given a little credit where credit
needs doesn't even be.

Speaker 7 (41:29):
But believe me, you don't mean I'll pick her up
and we don't even have to make it to the hotel.

Speaker 1 (41:33):
What do we do it? I am all you know
what that whole thing about me being the like, I'm
gonna play the bad guy on these things all year.
I'm out. All right, I'm out.

Speaker 2 (41:43):
I'm in for the romance.

Speaker 1 (41:44):
It died three minutes.

Speaker 2 (41:48):
All right, guys, we gotta go. Best of luck, Please
keep us updated with all of the details, and belated
Happy New Year. I know I shouldn't do it.

Speaker 1 (41:58):
Oh God, God, I be a parent. It's ninety five
point one WayV. It's Mike and Dan cho Actually, this
is one of those moments where I question whether I
should even talk about this on the air. Oh. My
daughter hurt her finger four days before her first gymnastics
competition at gymnastics and it swelled up. We took her
to get X rays. They were negative, but the doctor

(42:20):
was like, hey, we should probably lay off this for
a couple of days. And I'm like, well, her first
gymnastics competition is Friday, like this was last week, Like,
what what can we do about this? I'm like, she
might have to set this one out. I'm like, well,
I'm like three grand into this gymnastics thing.

Speaker 2 (42:39):
Plus she would be so disappointed.

Speaker 1 (42:41):
Oh she's baying hysterically. Now I melted because she's crying.
My wife is crying because my daughter's crying. And I'm like,
all right, I'm gonna figure this out. I took her
out of school on Thursday and Friday to go to
three different walkins to get somebody to say you're okay

(43:03):
to compete, because gymnastics wouldn't let her back until she
got a note.

Speaker 2 (43:08):
Okay, gotcha?

Speaker 1 (43:09):
So I needed a note, So I took her to
three different walkins to try and fi. I couldn't take
her to the PD. I couldn't get into the orthopedic,
who would have definitely been like, you're fine because we
got X rays. Everything was clear.

Speaker 2 (43:20):
That's what that was. My question, was she really really
fine to do it?

Speaker 1 (43:23):
She says she was fine, and again she's six and
really wanted to do it, and her hand set the
swelling went down, so it was like all those checkpoints
of like the swelling is gone, she doesn't say it hurts,
but we still need a note to return. And big
mouth McKinley told Jim too that she hurt her finger.
They then held her out, So now I needed a

(43:45):
note to get her back in the gym and gymnastics
on Friday. We had to be there at two point fifteen.

Speaker 2 (43:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (43:51):
I had to pull her out of school early. I
don't know why six year old gymnastics happened at three pm,
don't ask me on a Friday. I pulled her out early,
took her to one hell every place, and I looked
at her, and this is where I was kind of
a bad parent. I was like, you have to tell
him it doesn't hurt.

Speaker 2 (44:09):
Sometimes a little fib.

Speaker 1 (44:12):
It didn't hurt, she said. Every time we would ask
her to be like, it doesn't hurt.

Speaker 2 (44:17):
Oh, well, she wasn't lying, but she wasn't lying.

Speaker 1 (44:20):
But she just wasn't telling the whole truth.

Speaker 2 (44:24):
Gotcha.

Speaker 1 (44:25):
We got her in. She nothing was broken. All of
you judging me, shut up, shut up. I know a
bad parent, but she was crying and wanted it. I
got the note, You got the note, and she won
everything he did everything. She won the bars, she won
the floor, on the the beam. She was the beam queen.

(44:50):
She came in second on the vault and won the
all around by like a full.

Speaker 2 (44:56):
Point future Olympian.

Speaker 1 (44:58):
I'm a little concerned because I just saw.

Speaker 4 (45:01):
Stingchting. Well.

Speaker 2 (45:03):
I think parents know their children the best, so my
mom would have done the same thing. I mean, my
dad is so straight and narrow, but my mom would
have done the same thing to get me to the competition.

Speaker 1 (45:13):
Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 2 (45:14):
I think you're fine.

Speaker 1 (45:15):
She was fine.

Speaker 2 (45:15):
She was fine.

Speaker 1 (45:16):
She's still fine. She's not maybe she'll have a pinky
that doesn't grow with the rest of her hand.

Speaker 2 (45:21):
But hey, hey, she got she won the competition.

Speaker 1 (45:24):
She's okay.

Speaker 2 (45:25):
She's getting a gold medal someday.

Speaker 1 (45:28):
Don't don't call anybody on me. I know you're judging me,
But for your kids, you'll do anything, especially when they're crying.
Oh yeah, I was in panic mode because I had
a wife crying too.

Speaker 2 (45:38):
Oh well, tell McKinley, I said, congratulations, she's.

Speaker 1 (45:41):
Got another one this weekend. Oh good luck, So we'll
see how it goes.

Speaker 2 (45:44):
Ninety five point one w A y V. It's Mike
and Diane and sometimes our radio family needs advice, so
we are here for you. Ava messaged us, Hey, Mike
and Diane love your show. I could use some extra
opinions on this. I'm a singer usually on weekends at
lounges or weddings or other events. A friend who's getting
married reached out to me and ask me to sing

(46:06):
a few songs that are wedding that and she and
her husband will dance to the first song. The question
I have is should I still give her a wedding
gift or is singing gift enough. My roommate thinks I
should bring a gift, but I'm leaning on not because
obviously I'm singing for free. So please ask your listeners
and I'll be listening to get advice. Thanks Ava, So

(46:27):
what do you think? First of all, talk back on
the free iHeartRadio app is a great way to go.
It's your direct line to the studio. Just tap that
red microphone when you're listening to WayV on the app. Mike,
would you bring a gift?

Speaker 1 (46:39):
That for sure? Because what fear of not having a
gift is way way bigger like I would bring I
certainly listen. The way I think about it is, if
you buy a house, you're a real estate agent who
worked for you still brings you a gift.

Speaker 2 (46:57):
Hey, good point, good example. So yes, we did get
a gift from the real estate agent.

Speaker 1 (47:02):
So that's one, okay. The other one is she's still
a friend, Like it's not like she's not not a friend.

Speaker 2 (47:10):
It's not a stranger. You're doing a solid for Yeah.

Speaker 1 (47:13):
I mean so, just good point. Bring the gift and like,
don't don't overthink it and bring something.

Speaker 2 (47:20):
The bride didn't let her off the hook. I think
in my case, I probably would say something like I
don't worry about the gift. But that's why I don't know.

Speaker 1 (47:27):
Yeah, yeah, it's all very weird, like it's a weird situation,
like you're working, like she's working the whole night. She's
not going to enjoy the wedding as a guest.

Speaker 2 (47:34):
But as you said, it's her friend, so it's her friends.

Speaker 1 (47:37):
Oh yeah, you have to bring a gift, all right,
Well you just bring a gift. Just don't think about it.
You're working great, but you're also going to your friend's wedding.

Speaker 2 (47:44):
Like it's the case.

Speaker 1 (47:45):
Let's not. Let's not pretend like it's anything more than
it is. You're you're working, but you're at a friend's wedding. Okay,
you're doing them a favor. Like you could have said no.

Speaker 2 (47:54):
You could have said no, you're exactly right and just
still gone to the wedding, although that would feel weird too.
So let us know a talk back or give us
a call, and we'll try to help Ava out. She's
the wedding singer. Should she bring a gift to the wedding?
Mike and Diane's what would you do? On ninety five
point one WayV Ava reached out to us. She's a
wedding singer, and she wanted to know. She's performing at

(48:17):
her friend's wedding. She's doing a few songs. Should she
also bring a gift? Emily from Northfield, what do you
think Ava's listening for your advice?

Speaker 6 (48:26):
By the way, Yeah, you know, I think that she should.
But I think it could be a like a kind
of kind or like thoughtful gift. So like if she's
doing the wedding set, like she could compile all the
music that she's going to be playing so that they
could listen to it later on, you know, ten years
later after their wedding and have their all their music,

(48:47):
you know, So it could be something very like cheap
but thoughtful. That's going to have a big impact, you know,
But I think she should.

Speaker 1 (48:54):
I'm thoughtful over everything always, and I kind of love that.

Speaker 2 (48:58):
I do love that doesn't have to be stroking a
big check. Yeah, it could be something thoughtful. And then
to think of their song sid, Yeah, I think that's
a great idea.

Speaker 1 (49:07):
That is so much better than anything I came up.

Speaker 2 (49:10):
I'm actually we can come up with you.

Speaker 1 (49:12):
I'm upset about it because.

Speaker 2 (49:14):
I didn't even have an answer. I'm like, I have
no idea, I don't know what to do.

Speaker 1 (49:18):
I had an answer. It's just not I mean, it's
it's you. You we had the same answer.

Speaker 2 (49:24):
I just like, I absolutely love that. Well, thank you.
Like I said, Ava is listening and hopefully she will
take that advice. Thank you so much, Emily, no problem,
thank you. I am happy to say that I am
not the biggest returner in my house. So Mike and
Diane show on ninety five point one Way V, my

(49:47):
husband officially returns more things because we had to pack
up all the Amazon returns and I only had a
couple of things from the holidays. Not too bad, and
he evidently went on a try on binge and bought
a bunch of stuff, pants, bathing suits, sneakers, all this stuff.
He normally doesn't do that, but it was a binge.

(50:11):
So I got to go to the UPS store. So
I get everything organized. I've got all the screenshots organized
for the returns. I put everything in a laundry basket
just to try to organize it. And we put numbers
on everything because I don't want to go in the
store and be one of those people. Let me see
if I can find the QR code on this, Like,
I'm not doing that. So I had everything in the
laundry basket all organized. Yeah, and I realized why put

(50:34):
the stuff in toebags. I put the laundry basket in
the car and carried it into the UPS store. Isn't
that a good hack? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (50:43):
I mean you're you're saying something that's out of my
realm because I don't return.

Speaker 2 (50:47):
I've heard that from a lot of people. Most people't
say it. I'm just too I'm just think of the money.

Speaker 1 (50:54):
I'm just so lazy.

Speaker 2 (50:55):
Think of the money and the great return policy. If
you're a prime member.

Speaker 1 (50:59):
Yeah, yeah, you're one hundred. I am not saying I'm
in the right. Okay, I am in the wrong. I
am lazy, and I had the return because I think
at buying gifts. I bought my wife's shoes that were
in the wrong size. I did return them.

Speaker 2 (51:15):
You did or you did not?

Speaker 1 (51:16):
I did? You did? Okay, good, haven't bought the replacement yet? Oh,
but but I will maybe.

Speaker 2 (51:25):
I listen. It's an extra errand it's a pain. But
I hear people say, you know what, I just keep
the stuff even if it doesn't work, because I won't
return it. So you can give me your returns if
you want a little commission on the side, because I'll
do it. I'll do the returns.

Speaker 1 (51:39):
How about a handshake.

Speaker 2 (51:39):
But so let us know who is the biggest returner
in your household, because I feel like women get a
bad rap sometimes. I, oh, you're always returning stuff. I
know my mom was guilty of that back in the day.
Not my dad. So let us know what. Talk back
on the free iHeartRadio. I've just tapped that red microphone.
