Speaker 1 (00:00):
To digest the Rashid Shihed trade to the Hawks from
the Saints, and I like the deal.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
I do.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Here's now why I don't. I'm gonna give you both
sides like a court trial here. I'm gonna play plaintiff
and defendants simultaneously, and Kid can be the judge.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
So we liked it. Kid and I we signed off
for Shik Shahied. Great.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
It gives depth, It's another dimension, Clint Kubiak, familiarity, all
that good stuff. I'm in. He gave it a fourth
and fifth round pick. I think a fifth would have sufficed.
But I got a text this morning, and I cannot
believe this text that I received. Saints were telling every

(00:54):
team they wanted a third rounder for Shaheed. Had multiple
teams in the hunt, which drove the price up to
what the Hawks gave them. Okay, fair enough. I know
the Bills were hot for Shihied. They wanted Shaheed and
Shakir together. They were hot for Shahid. The Bills were
the other team that they really wanted them. Here's why

(01:17):
I don't like it. You know how I am. I'm
the biggest NFL, NBA draft guy. I'm a draft geek,
draft dork whatever, because I believe that every team and
the success that they have or they don't have in

(01:40):
the future is predicated on the draft in every sport.
Look at the Seattle Mariners twenty eighteen draft, Logan Gilbert
first round, Cal Raley second round, twenty nineteen draft, George
Kirby one draft, Bryce Brian Wu fourth rounder, Bryce Miller

(02:06):
sixth rounder. Those two are reversed anyway, they were both
in that same draft. The draft is everything. It is everything,
and that to me is where right now? As of today,
on November fifth, twenty twenty five, the Seattle Seahawks have

(02:27):
four total picks in next April's draft, the first round,
second round, third round, and sixth round.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
That is it now.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
If Riequollin boy Mafey, if they sign with another team,
could there be compensatory picks, Yes, there could be, but
there's a lot of stipulations with that. As of today,
we only have four picks in April's draft that I
don't like, especially and when you consider An, I'm going

(03:00):
to compare the Hawks now to the worst organization in
the NFL, if not all of sports, the Jets. But
credit to the Jets who got n a plus for
what they did yesterday. They picked up not one, not two,
but three first round picks. They have five first round
picks in the next two drafts. And they also picked
up a second rounder for Quinn Williams yesterday when they

(03:22):
sent him to the Cowboys. So they they're in a
fire sale. Obviously, the Hawks are in a different part.
So you know me, I'm a John Schneider guy. I
don't like only having four total picks in the draft.
That is my thing. That scares me. That scares the
living hell out of me, and it should scare the
living hell out of the decision making folks at the

(03:43):
Virginia Mason Athletic Center and renting.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
I don't like that at all.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
That to me is a but Rashichi he all right,
let's look at him in a nutshell. I saw somebody
tweeted out today from under Football show the NFC West.
They're calling this the legion of Zoom right, Jackson Smith
and Jigba Rashid, Shaheed, Tory Horten, Cooper Cup, Darek Young.

(04:13):
How can we even say Jake Bobo? How can we
even say that right now? Jake Bobo? Can the guy
stay healthy for longer than six minutes. I mean, Jake Bobo,
get the hell out of here. I'm gonna go my guy. Uh,
I'm gonna go with Darek Young or Koty Cody White
over Jake Bobo. At least these guys stay healthy. So

(04:35):
that's where I stand on it. Did the Seahawks improve themselves?

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Yes? Did the Rams?

Speaker 3 (04:42):
No?

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Did the forty nine ers? Hell no, they didn't do anything.
Nothing But the draft to me, is the lifeblood of
every team, every team. And I hate to do this,
but I'm gonna do this. Who won the NBA title
in June? The organization formerly known as the Seattle SuperSonics.

(05:07):
I'm wearing a Seattle SuperSonics green hoodie right now with
the throwback logo.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Look at what they did? How about that? Now?

Speaker 1 (05:19):
They didn't acquire Shake Guildess Alexander. They didn't draft him.
They acquired him from the Clippers when the Clippers gave
up everything to acquire Paul George and they got like
five first round picks and Shake Gildess Alexander. But they
drafted Chet Holmgren. They drafted Jalen Williams, the one from

(05:41):
Santa Clara, and then the other guy from Arkansas.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
They've done a great job.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Casin Wallace as well, and Sam Presty and everybody here
in Seattle remembers that name. He's one of the best,
if not the best general manager in the business, and
so is his counterpart in his former city of Seattle,
John Schneider. He's one of the best gms in the

(06:08):
business in his respective sport as well. I don't like
that when you give up that much draft capital, I
expect something better in return. The Seahawks gave up a
fourth and a fifth rounder for Rashik Shiheed. The Jags
gave up a fourth in a sixth rounder for Jacoby Myers,
who's a better wide receiver.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
It's rhetorical.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
I mean nothing against Rashi Hiheed, but Jacoby Myers was
the Raiders' best receiver last year. That's technically a receiver,
even though it was really Brock Bauers. But Jacoby Myers
is a legitimate too. I'm not saying he's t Higgins,
but he's you know below that. Would you've rather given
up a fourth and a sixth for Jacoby or a

(06:55):
fourth and a fifth for Rashik Chhiheed, Now, I'm sure
Pete Carroll did not want to deal Jacoby Myers and
help out his former employer, so that could have been
it as well, so instead he sent them to a
team in their own conference, even though they won't be
competing against each other in anything other than a higher
draft pick.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
So four picks left in the draft right now.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Things can change obviously from now until the last Thursday
night in April.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Not a fan of that at all. For Rashi Shi heat.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Like the thing that sticks in my craw and kid
and I even talked about it yesterday.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
We didn't when we didn't.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
Know the compensation, and I said fifth rounder, and Kid,
you said fifth and sixth rounder. We were just spitballing
and then it was like a fourth rounder two WTF?
Like Josh Schneider, you know you're my guy, But I mean,

(07:53):
all right, bro, fine, now you need to find a
sucker another organization and pill for them for their third
or fourth round.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Get the extra third or fourth.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Now you need to find another team and get that
fourth rounder back.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
You drafted Tory Horton in the fifth round last year.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
So.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Okay, A man's fine. I I mean, do they improve
their team? Yes? Are they better today than they were?

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Two days ago after they came back from beating the
crap out of the Commanders. Yes, but not at the
sake of giving up a fourth and fifth rounder. I
gotta be real with you and kid, and that to
me is like not only giving up a fourth and
fifth rounder. You're only now you're left as of today.
Obviously the thing's gonna change. You got free agency which

(08:46):
starts five to six weeks before the draft, and things
can happen, and trades can happen, all that stuff from
you know, before then. But you have four picks total.
And next year's draft was the last time and they
were in this position like twenty twenty two two, right,
it's gonna say yeah three dudes, yeah Stone for five

(09:07):
d S Gridge And I can't remember.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
That it was it like, was it because Gabe Jackson?

Speaker 3 (09:11):
No, they traded for Gabe they got gave in the offseason,
I forget, okay.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
But didn't they give up a picked again him? Or no?

Speaker 1 (09:16):
No?

Speaker 4 (09:17):
Maybe?

Speaker 3 (09:18):
Oh you know what they did give a pick. They
gave a fifth round, probably a fifth round or to
get Gabe Jackson.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
But who they drafted d DS Gridge Stone for scythe
who was let me just look up.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
To no, no, no, no, I got it. I got it.
But continue what you were saying.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
The thing is, yeah, for right now, they pushed all
the chips in. Their future looks a little okay for
the draft. But if they win the super Bowl and
that's what they're going for, yeah, they're not gonna need
no picks. They're gonna be the Chiefs. You know, we'll
just punt on the first second, first two rounds.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
Who cares. We're champs. We're trying to repeat.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
We're gonna get veterans, We're gonna get bring guys in
that fit what we want to do that maybe didn't
fit elsewhere. And that's I think what John Schneider's mindset
is right now, trying to.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
Push all the chips in.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
Where can they feel strongly, because right now I think
we'd all agree that the defensive back room's pretty strong.
Julian Love has been out for a month. He will
miss another month. Tyle Cotta has done a really good job.
He looks fine. The Seahawks can, I think, do what
they've been doing with him. Cornerback situation. Rieka has had
his ups and downs this season. You can go back

(10:23):
and look at the games the Niners. They lost that
game because what he missed an interception? I get it.
The depth there pretty darn good, Josh job. Hopefully he's okay.
But you also have Shaquille Griffin who played some good
snaps against the Jaguars. You also have Kendricks that was
with the Rams last season that's now a part of
the Seahawks. You have Nick Eavenmore who's taking that next

(10:44):
step and is getting more comfortable now. You put Spoon outside,
they have a lot of flexibility in the cornerback room. Linebacker.
You're hoping Ernest Jones will probably miss maybe at most
two games. So that leaves you with Drake Thomas, Tyree
Knight and that linebacking corps.

Speaker 4 (10:58):
You're okay with that. That makes sense. D line monstrous.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
You don't really need to add anything, although MJ you
said yesterday if they made a tray for hendrickson, that
D line would be disgusting. So the one the one
area that you're like, you know what, we could probably
add a player wide receiver, especially now with Cooper Cup
having a heel in hampsteing injury.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
Such so, so letting what you said.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
You got all three players right, it was the twenty
twenty one draft.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Oh okay, it was, but but listen to this.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
But listen to this, so it's like the twenty twenty
one draft never ever happened. Dwayne Eskridge, Trey Brownstone for site.
That's what it was, corner right, Okay, okay, But listen
to what John did in twenty twenty two and got
them picks back first rounder Charles Cross check, second rounder
Boy Mafey check, second rounder k Nine check, third rounder

(11:50):
Abe Lucas check, fourth rounder Kobe Bryant check, fifth rounder
Rinck Woollen check, and then seventh.

Speaker 2 (11:59):
Rounder Darek Young check.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
All eight.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
Now there was two more picks, Tyreek Smith and Bow Melton.
Those eight out of ten players are on this roster,
and all of them are starting except for Dareek Young.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
The Greek Young special teams guy. But he's great, and
that's my point.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
Well that's what I mean.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Look, he nailed So you, oh, John, I gotta tell you, man,
I think.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
About it right from that twenty nineteen season, how far
did they get?

Speaker 4 (12:30):
I think they lost to the Eagles.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Yeah, that horrible. It was a horrible game.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
So when you look at it, he's thinking that they're
gonna have a deep playoff runt, and that's why he
went out and did it. I'm not trying to defend him,
but it makes sense as to why he would go
and do it because he I think Cooper Cup might
be out, might be on IR. We'll find out later
this afternoon with the updates. But I don't it's a
dumb move. If Cooper Cup is healthy, it makes no sense.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
I don't. I don't see the need for it.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
If Cooper Cup is healthy, Cooper Cup's been fine, he
has had a good season up to this point. If
he is hurt, it makes all the sense in the world.
While you go out and get a guy that is
not just some dude that can take the top off
the defense. He can run screens for you. He can
go over the middle, as Hugh Millan talked about with
you yesterday. He might not be a god that's physical
with at the catch point, but I'll tell you this,

(13:17):
he'll be open. He wins a lot. He wins on
his reps. So that's you're telling me you'll have JSN,
Tory Horton and now Rashid Shihad. I think that's a
pretty solid personnel unit, right there, including your tight ends
and aj Barner Elijah Royo, I'm okay with that call.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
Did you like this nickname that Underdog Sports on Twitter
call them now the Legion of Zoom.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
Let's get legion out of there and trying to come
run something completely different.

Speaker 4 (13:50):
But that is funny and cool.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
It's funny. Did you get off?

Speaker 3 (13:52):
The defense is fast, They just play a different style
and it's under Mike McDonald's image and how he saw
this defense becoming what we do in Baltimore with all
their exotic blitzes and drop well not even blitzes, more
so pressures.

Speaker 4 (14:05):
Because they usually send five guys. I think they don't
blitz a lot.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
This team is really good at sending pressure and it's
from all over the place. It could be two corners
blitzing and then you drop two fat man. Well, if
the math comes out correct, that's a five man pass Ruds,
that's a pressure. When they send six now they're blitzing.
They don't send six a lot. They send a lot
of different pressures dropping guys, and it's really cool to
see how Mike MacDonald just confuses the quarterback and you

(14:31):
saw that with Jaden. There are multiple times where he's
just where do I go with it? And he had
to use his legs, which is a win for the defense.
Although they'll tell you we gave up too many running lanes.
We gotta be better understand this. They're not gonna really
worry about that unless they see Josh Allen in the
super Bowl, and he might make you pay because he
is just a linebacker that has a cannon and he
can do a lot of different things. But needless to say,

(14:55):
this defense has been really special and I'm excited for
what they can do going forward. And I like the
trade for Rashid Shaheed. I think it's a good move.
But I also understand where you're coming from, MJ. Because
if they lose in the first round, now what you
four picks?

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Yeah, well, but here's the thing. They could get a
compensatory pick for Rashiji heat.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
Do too, so that would be a sixth round. Is
that what it is?

Speaker 1 (15:16):
It depends. It depends on how much he signs for.
It could be like you might not get it till
twenty twenty seven. So how many snaps he plays, it's
a bunch. It's a lot of things. Text lines just
lit up. They love this segment. Kid, MJ and kidd,
what are you hearing about why we're not able to
upgrade the weak link of our O line, right guard Anthony.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
Brad There's no other guards out there, you know.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
I mean White Taylor. White Taylor wasn't on the market,
so apparently they didn't trade exactly.

Speaker 3 (15:45):
No team is gonna give up their good player for
someone that's not as good. And to be fair, Bradford
has had his moments, as you Millon touched on yesterday,
He's had his moments. But he played some good ball
on Sunday, Oh.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
Sunday night. He did.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
That was you know, every blind every blind squirrel finds
an acorn once in a while. I mean, like, I'm
just saying, you know, okay, he did, he was. He
was good on Sunday night. Let's let's look at the
tape of the other games. Let's look at all the
other games.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
He struggled.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
There's a I'm not even put it out there, but
the thing is, it's tough now to just cut bait
with him and throw someone in there. I know people
were saying Christian Haynes, well he's not healthy and he
struggled his rookie year. So is that really something you
want to throw out there and try. I mean, those
dudes were battling out the entire season and Bradford won it,
and then he had a strong preseason and then he

(16:34):
kind of just resulted back to what we saw of
him last two years ago, where he just struggled. He
just didn't look clean. He just had too many mistakes.
He's minimized the mistakes, but he's still losing some reps
here and there. But it's just tough, you you really,
there's not a bunch of bench linemen that are just
ready to go that are good. That's not how it
works in the NFL. But if there were a lot

(16:55):
of old lines would be what really good. So unfortunately
the Seahawks are in a situation where they have to
ride it out because if there was someone available, I'm
guessing they would be doing what it did last year. Hey,
Anthony Bradford's gonna start, Hey Christian's gonna start. They don't
have that this season. So this season it was it
is Bradford and they're trying to run less to his side,

(17:16):
and a lot of the run players go to the
left side, where it's you know, Gray's Abel Charles Cross.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
Those dudes are doing really good. They're polling, they're polling,
They're doing there. They are from a lot of techs
came in just since three. They just lit up respectfully. Mark,
from listening to yesterday and already today, you're forgetting one
major thing the Seahawks GM is John Schneider. Well, I
don't think I forgot that, But dude will trade back
and make trades in the offseason to get those two
picks back. Don't worry, dude, does it yearly? Fair enough?

(17:46):
Mging kit and we already got that one. How often
do fourth and fifth round pick receivers pan out? You're
picking guys probably that will never make the team. Okay,
how's Tory Horton looking so far? That's not a good
that's not a good example. Right there, how's Tory Horton?
Tory Horton looking right now? It doesn't matter what right like,
listen if you if you find a diamond in the rough.

(18:07):
I just gave you that entire twenty twenty two draft
where Schneider nailed eight out of ten players, and I
didn't even get to twenty twenty three with Spoon and
JSM and Derek Hall and Sharbonney, Olu, Jerrick Reid. You
know Bradford was in that. I mean he's still here.
I know he's you know, but he's still on the team.

(18:29):
So you know, Mike Morris, So listen, in most organizations,
you're right fourth and and here's another guy. Oh, the
guy who just said, oh, how many of them usually
pan out? Aj Barner is looking pretty good right now.
He was a tight end fourth rounder. Okay, don't like Listen.
It comes down to talent evaluation. The reason why the

(18:51):
Seahawks are in a great position because John Schneider has
done his job as an elite at an elite level
for years and years years. Sure there's been some peaks
and valleys, there's no question there's been some downward spirals.
But it's like anything else, everything, including when that recession
hit in eight two thousand and seven, two thousand and eight.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
And you know what a financial advisor.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
Told me, the only people who get hurt on a
rollercoaster are the ones who jump off. And the people
jumped off because they thought they were gonna lose so
much money. Three months later, after they took out all
the money from their four to one k's, they realized
that they had lost a lot more money by panicking.

(19:39):
They hit the panic button. I'm not hitting any panic button.
Just think it was a little much to give up
for Rashichi he That's all I'm saying. I have no
question he's gonna be great as a returner. He's gonna
be put in positions to succeed in space and clinck
Kubiak's offense. All I'm saying is that it's a lot

(19:59):
to give up.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
For a good player. He's good.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
I would rather have Jacoby Myers, and you can only
give it up a fourth and a sixth rounder. But
neither here nor there. It is what it is. Apparently
Saints were wanting a third rounder, the Bills wanted them,
Seahawks got them, Buffalo didn't.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
So there we go, all right. I want to mention
one thing.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
The Seattle International Auto Show presented by b ECU is

(20:47):
up at eleven. Steve Weish will be coming up. NFL
Networks chief national reporter will be coming up at noon.
We'll get the breakdown. I've got grades, we got some
grades here, and what does the world think of this trade?
And where the Seahawks stand going forward. We'll get to
that next and oh boy, do we have a hitting

(21:09):
to all fields that you are not gonna want to mention.
Truer words were never spoken when we got that. Coming
up at ten forty five, Factor Fiction. My turn today,
it's a Wednesday, yep, my turn at eleven thirty five.
All that right here, MJ in the midday, Christopher Kidd,
Charles Davis from CBS, one of the best in the business,

(21:30):
will join us.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
Coming up.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
What a great week we have of guests. Lewis Riddick,
Charles Davis, Steve Weisch, Mike Dugar who's here every week.
We will have him tomorrow. So it's been and who
knows what else might join us before the end of
the week. You just don't know. So it's been a
good run here. Prince of the Mafia, Michael Franzis, Tim
donahe it's yeah, and we're gonna stay on that NBA thing.

(21:54):
It just you know, after that bomb that was released.
Was it last Thursday or no? I think it was
two thursdays ago. Of the gambling scandal Chauncey Billups, Damon Jones,
and Terry Rozier being arrested. It's kinda oh, don't worry,

(22:16):
don't worry. Round two is coming. And then we've got
another thing over here with an owner who's allegedly paid
his star player from a fake shill company that never existed.
You know, So there's that, there is that. But anyway,
so we got a great thing coming up. I was

(22:39):
great on all my player props this week, JSN, Christian McCaffrey,
Jared goff AARSB, I'm and Ross Saint Brown and the
one more and then one guy who killed me this
week was what happened Jonathan Taylor?

Speaker 2 (22:57):
What happened?

Speaker 1 (22:59):
I told you BJ Robinson BJ because he blows BJ
Robinson from the Atlanta Falcons three straight games under fifty yards.
I think he had under thirty or forty yards against
the Patriots, Patriot's toughest run defense in the NFL, second
the Seattle Seahawks top two run defenses in the NFL.

(23:19):
Run at your own peril against the Hawks and the
Pats this year. Good luck, good luck? All right, grades,
what do we got? What do we got? What are
the people say about the Seahawks and what they have done? Oh,
by the way, I didn't even mention the college football
playoff rankings came out.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
I didn't even get to that. So all that. Oh,
it just so much going on right now.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
Huskies came in at twenty third, so they can move up,
okay with as long as they went out, went out Wisconsin,
Ucla per nine and two going into the game against Poorragon.
You face Porragon, you beat Porragon at home, you go
ten and two, and then you get a shot.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
They got a shot and.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
You and the best thing, you would knock poor a
goon out, which would be great, absolutely great.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
All right, here's what certain people think. I'm gonna give you.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
The other two teams in division that are playoff teams,
Rams trade deadline activity, according to Yahoo Sports, b Roger
McCreery and a sixth round pick. They gave up a
fifth round pick. The quote, there aren't many glaring issues
on this roster with a ton of salary cap and
a good haul of picks coming up next season.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
Oh boy, they got a Hall of picks next year.

Speaker 4 (24:46):
Oh, Jesus two first rounds, right.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
Yeah, Jesus kid.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
Maybe an old lineman would have helped, and it's easy
to pie in the sky. Jeffrey Simmons to this team
the light of the Cowboys, Quinn Williams deal. But they're
in prime position to pounce on what beat might be
Matthew Stafford's last elite season or maybe last year period
in the NFL.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
They gave him a B.

Speaker 1 (25:09):
San Francisco forty nine Ers Keon White in a twenty
twenty six to seventh round pick from the Patriots, and
they trade a sixth round pick. What the forty nine
ers really need to trade for is a good luck
charm to stop all these devastating injuries from hitting them.
They couldn't acquire that, but they could have at least
added more help to a roster that's paying a lot
of older stars to try and squeeze one last Super

(25:31):
Bowl run. C plus HAA Frisco take that Niners, Frisco
nah Seattle Seahawks, we know it's Rashid Shaheed for a
fourth and fifth round pick. Did the free agent gamble
on Sam Darnold work out? Are the Seahawks at the
dawn of what feels like a Super Bowl window question mark.

(25:55):
The answer to both questions appear to bs so good
on head coach Mike McDonald's team for flexing out the
wide receiver room with Rashid Shaheed Speed and NFC contender
just got better great drop the mic or my phone

(26:16):
A minus A minus. That's what the national pundits think.
Who are who are we to disagree? Oh? I also
want to say this too, kid, and I will vouch
thank you to Queen Anne beer Hall. Hoyvey. You know
I fast every day for breakfast and lunch. I don't

(26:36):
usually eat until after six o'clock. People are like, now,
I'll drink a Mountain dew or you know, some Coca cola,
but to get through or whatever. Occasionally I'll get a
caramel frappuccino from a certain place that will go unnamed.
A kid will too, But Queen Anne beer Hall today

(26:59):
they were Geno Suarez in Game five of the ALCS
in the bottom of the eighth inning. They nailed it
out of the park, had their homemade sausage sandwich, their
breakfast bacon burrito, everything that they do. It's out of
this world to me. It's the coolest place to watch
a game in all of Seattle.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
I was there.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
We were there for the NFL Draft Show and Softy
and Dick were doing their live draft show there on
day one on the Thursday night. I love Queen Anne
beer Hall. Thank you to Queen Anne Beer Hall for
stopping by. Their food is phenomenal. Their local there's local
as it gets. And I cannot say enough great things
about Queen and Beer Hall. So you get a chance,

(27:40):
stop on buy. Their food is phenomenal. Their smash burgers,
the sea dogs, you name it. Their pretzels with the
homemade mustard dip so good, and they got a ton
of great I don't even drink, but when I go
to Queen Anne Beer Hall and I see those frosty mugs,
it makes me thirsty and it makes me want to drink,

(28:01):
So I might. Actually you might. Actually. If you're gonna
catch me drinking anywhere in town, it's gonna be at
Queen Anne Beer Hall. Thank you very much to Queen
Anne beer Hall. Seriously, was a kid, did you like
your Was that not phenomenal?

Speaker 4 (28:12):
It was very good, very good.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
Loved it.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
So shout out to Queen Anne Beer Hall. If you
need some breakfast, we got a new spot for you.
If you didn't know, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
I know, you might not think of them because they're
thinking about place that's open, you know, in the afternoon
when the game's begin No no, no, no, no, no no.
They got breakfast, man, and their breakfast was elite, elite period,
you know what I mean. We're talking like Playboy Mansion
in the nineties. Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra, Jenny McCarthy, the

(28:51):
late Great Anna.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
Nicole Smith.

Speaker 4 (28:53):
You're just naming legend.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
Hey, is it weird to still have a crush on
someone who's no longer with us?

Speaker 4 (29:02):
Did they die looking good?

Speaker 2 (29:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (29:04):
Yeah, I'm trying to think who has passed away that I'm.

Speaker 2 (29:08):
And Nicole Smith?

Speaker 4 (29:09):
Oh yeah, yeah, I'm not knocking you for it.

Speaker 2 (29:12):
No, I still I still like her.

Speaker 4 (29:14):
I mean, my.

Speaker 3 (29:15):
Porn stars die, they still look good.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
She Hey, say what you want.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
But Playboy was kind of like it was kind of
like accepted softpoorn.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
It was though, I mean, girls a naked and it's
to break.

Speaker 4 (29:28):
What do you think?

Speaker 2 (29:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (29:29):
No, I I oh yeah, coming up next? Oh my god.
Truer words never spoken. And my Oh my college coach
gets a little testy when when a member of the
media is asking him a legitimate question. And I love
when coaches have tantrums, but the truer words that are
never spoken by another coach. This is the ether. If

(29:53):
you know, it's the greatest disc song in the history
of rap. Maybe hit him up as well, Tupac. This
is the hit them up of drop the mic. You're
not going to believe what he said and who he
said it about. Next on hitting Tall Fields, M Jane
and The Midday, Charles Davis at eleven.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
It's impactful.

Speaker 5 (30:13):
I'm not gonna say the game, but we're only allowed
to turn in. You know, there's a system of accountability,
but y'all don't know anything about it.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
It's behind a curtain.

Speaker 5 (30:21):
How dare we have accountability in the meantime we got
gambling issues going on, people being suspended, all that kind
of stuff, right, yep. I mean refs are people too.
It ain't just coaches and players. And if they're a
part of the game, then by god, they ought to
be a part of the game, and they ought to
be a part of the accountability, and they ought to
be a part of the consequences, not just behind some shadowy.

Speaker 2 (30:43):
Curtain like now, they ought to have to answer for it.

Speaker 5 (30:45):
And listen, there's judgment calls and all that, and I mean,
we just have to disagree to disagree, but there's also
absolute flat out misses with no consequences. We're allowed to
turn in ten calls, all right. And so we had
a game earlier this year that we lost. I had fourteen.
I wanted to turn him and I only turn in ten,
all right.

Speaker 3 (31:05):
I thought eight.

Speaker 5 (31:06):
Were wrong, but got back Yep, missed it. Five of
the ten were wrong. And I mean these are game
changing calls. Obvious pass interference not called that takes you
off the field.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
But yeah, we just get it.

Speaker 5 (31:21):
This will be addressed with the crew and YadA, YadA, YadA. Okay, yeah,
but you ain't no public there's no public accountability, ain't
none of that.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
So that's the system. The system needs to change. It
needs to be changed.

Speaker 5 (31:32):
There needs to be challenge opportunity, and we need full
time officials. If you're gonna have this type of stakes,
he's to be full time officials.

Speaker 1 (31:43):
Truers never spoken. Amen, Dabbosweeney, you're the preacher, we're the choir.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Amen. Amen, No, for real, Like, I'm sick of this ish. Okay,
Now I know, I know at.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
A personal level, and so when I get when I
go hard on Dan Wilson, I'll tell you why because
I've been dealing with Dan Wilson for four years, even
though he's only been the manager for one, and for
my college team, because he's a Dan Wilson college football
named Mario Christo Baal. So I know the Hurricanes already
handicapped every time we go into a game on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (32:18):
I get that. But if you saw the.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
Calls that, like, Mario calls the timeout and this wasn't
on him, this was SMU was driving.

Speaker 2 (32:31):
It was fourth and nine.

Speaker 1 (32:32):
Mario calls the time out are one of our players
doesn't hear, and he hears it at the end and
he he bumps into the quarterback, but he tries to
hold him up. They threw a fifteen yard flag. How
about the Georgia Auburn Basically, Hugh Freeze got fired because
he got a host like four games this year, including
against Oklahoma and Georgia. His player jumped over the light

(32:58):
of scrimmage into the end zone. It was a touchdown,
and then what happened. Then what happened? The Georgia player
after he crossed the goal line should have been called
a touchdown, knocked the ball out. The refs, they go
to replay in Birmingham and they overruled it.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
Georgia comes back scores.

Speaker 1 (33:17):
Then later in the game, Kirby Smart literally makes the
gesture that if you were explaining to someone, what does
this mean? And you're putting your hand like cuffing your hand,
this is what a timeout means.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
He literally makes the gesture, and then he convinces.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
These dumbasses like these referees, Oh, I was clapping my hands,
I wasn't calling and they and guess what they took
his word for and they believed him. And that head
referee from that Auburn Georgia game was also the reft
of Auburn. Oklahoma got fired permanently from the SEC. Why

(33:54):
aren't these refs held accountable? Not just in college football?
What about the NFL? What about baseball? What about the NBA?
Why did they get to hide, as Dabo said, behind
this curtain like the Wizard of Oz. I'm sick and
tired of it. Let him be called out and like,
who cares you? Get fined. I appreciate Jalen Brown. Jam

(34:16):
Brown's like, you know what, you guys are gonna get
me fine, but I don't care. It's it's so bad
in every single sport. I hate it. I hate officials.

Speaker 2 (34:25):
I hate you all.

Speaker 1 (34:26):
You suck at your job, all of you, and just
about all of you in every single sport. You're killing
sports across the board. You all suck. And I wish
we could replace you with AI robots because they would not.

Speaker 2 (34:41):
Get the calls wrong.

Speaker 3 (34:44):
I think we gotta get mjson water, but oh wait,
our water machine's out.

Speaker 1 (34:48):
Oh all right, do we have time for Bill O'Brien?
It's really quick.

Speaker 4 (34:52):
We don't, but we could save with tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (34:55):
Oh no, this is good. Can we cure God? All right?

Speaker 4 (35:00):
Because you're gonna want to react to this too.

Speaker 1 (35:02):
No, that's true, you're right, that's a good point. And
I don't want to get Charles. I don't want Charles
Davis to be late. We want Charles Davis to be
on time. So we're gonna get out on time for
the great Charles Davis. But you got listen, man, you've
seen it. You've seen it with Husky Games, You've seen it.
With Hawks games, not just this year, in previous years. Hey,
the super Bowl gets the Steelers in Detroit.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
I mean jesus, I.

Speaker 1 (35:25):
Remember the following NFL drafted six. When the Seahawks were
going to make their pick, Chris Berman brings out a yell.
Penalty flight goes, the Seahawks are down the clock, and
he throws the flag down, basically saying that they got
screwed out of winning Super Bowl XL in Detroit forty
And they did get screwed. It's been going on forever.
F these refs, literally f them all, all right. Charles

(35:49):
Davis on the other side,
