Speaker 1 (00:00):
Look what they did on Monday Night football. They're different
with Jacoby Brissette than they were with Kyler Murray. Kyler
Murray just doesn't fit this system they've gotten away from
the air raid. Kyler Murray wanted Cliff Kingsbury out of there.
Be careful what you wish for it, because you.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Just got it.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
And now you've got a system that they've they've basically
gone in a different direction. It's Jacoby Brissett's team right now.
Maybe he's gonna be their answer like Daniel Jones in
Indy and Mac Jones in San Francisco.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Maybe that is. But this is a game that I
not only know the Hawks will win.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
The expectation level Vegas has this as a seven point line.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
I don't love it. I don't love it.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
You saw what happened last night, Okay, Raiders at Denver.
Denver had won six in a row. Raiders were a
huge nine point dog. They go in it to Denver
and if it wasn't for nine penalties, a block punt,
a missfield goal, an interception by Gino Smith.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
If it wasn't for that, Raiders could have been should
have won the game.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
So these divisional matchups man, I throw that point spread
right out the window, right out the window, all right,
factor of fiction coming up at eleven thirty five. But
it's a huge football weekend overall, it's a big weekend
and Rams forty nine Ers. Now, I don't know who
I want to win that game, because the Niners are

(01:35):
on defeat in the division, but they they're vulnerable right now.
And to me, you got a guy by the name
of Matthew Stafford.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Who's leading the.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
NFL with the most touchdown passes twenty one and he's
on fire. I think the Rams are the better team.
I don't want to root for the Niners, but I
think from the Seahawks standpoint, it might be better if
the Niners win this game, because I think the Niners
are gonna have a greater potential to lose going forward

(02:13):
the rest of the season than the Rams do. So
if the Rams lose on Sunday, Seahawks win, Seahawks have
a game above the Rams, and then Hawks go down
to so far is Well will be Loomingfield South on
next Sunday. Win that game, then you have a two

(02:34):
game lead on the Rams in the division. So this
Week ten schedule, it's weird. We have a thirty seven
and a half point total with the Jags and Texans,
which is just absolutely crazy.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
On that thirty seven and a half, then we have
a thirty.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Eight and a half point total on the Browns and Jets,
which is also crazy. And then there's a thirty nine
and a half point total between the Saints and Panthers.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Those are three really low totals.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
This week, and then after that you see the totals
jump up to the lowest after that, I believe he's
forty five and a half card Seahawks. On Sunday, Possible
lean under Chris Wilbo Wilberdang will join us coming up
at ten thirty. He's gonna give you everything you need
to know on the side, the total, the player props

(03:33):
for Sam Darnold JSN at the world's largest and sharpest
sports book, the Circa in Vegas, So we've got that
coming up.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Tyler Drake will join us from Arizona Sports.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
We will preview the game and why has the Changemen
And I know Kyler Murray is hurt, but the Cardinals,
I believe in Jonathan Gannon. They have obviously chosen to
go in a different direction. And you saw what happened
on Monday night in Dallas. Listen, say what you want
about the Cowboys, but Dallas is really good at home.

(04:08):
Remember that forty to forty tie against Green Bay. Dallas
is much better at home. They're horrible on the road,
they suck on the road, but they're great at home.
And what the Cardinals did to them, they went in there,
and I mean they broke into their house. They stole
their jewelry and electronics. They tied the Cowboys up, Dak Prescott,

(04:30):
Ceedee Lamb, you know, pickens, ate their food and left
them there and said, see you would want to be
That's what they did.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
This is a different Cardinals team.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
But as I mentioned, if you heard in the sports headlines,
here's where it goes for the Seahawks' major advantage. Three
defensive starters are out for Arizona on Sunday. Corner Will Johnson,
Mac Wilson linebacker, and Max Melton all out.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
For Arizona on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
So that's something that I look for Clint Koobiak and
the Seahawks team and Sam Donald to exploit. And this
is a team right now, kid, Do we have that
cut from the Pat McAfee show, and what they said
about the Seattle Seahawks is that ready, okay, good, let's

(05:23):
hear that when.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Those dinners are happening and you hear about the dinner's happening, like, hey,
the old Lion's having dinner, and the quarterbacks are there,
the tight ends are there. It's those things that are
happening outside of the building too, where you're going into
people's houses, you go to hang out in places, and
that whenever you're talking about we're hanging out playing spades
away from the building, It's like, that's exciting news. If
I was a Seattle Seahawks fan, I would say that
is very exciting news.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
That is what teams that are great do.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Agent It's one of the things I think we hit
on every year, like, hey, what teams look like they
enjoy each other's company.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
Oh, those are normally the teams that are great. Now.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
It's a lot easier to get along when you're good, though,
Like you win eleven of twelve on the road, that's
a lot more come to it to having a good relationship,
you know, because it flights back home from those games
are a great time. But I really enjoy the fact
that this Seattle Seahawks team has been rebuilt in a
whole new way basically, and now they're tighter than ever,
better than ever, and water are they gonna win a

(06:16):
Super Bowl right now?

Speaker 4 (06:17):
Even that's crazy to think about.

Speaker 5 (06:18):
I mean, with that guy with Sam Darnold slang it
like this, the guy he is he only twenty six
years old?

Speaker 4 (06:23):
Didn't we say that the other day? See really only
twenty six.

Speaker 5 (06:25):
Donald, he's young whatever, it's much younger than twenty eight,
which I guess feels like he's been in the NFL
for ten years of this so far, I guess.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
But this thing, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (06:34):
I know, we're a broken record, Pat when we talk
about the culture and culture is the old buzzword that
everyone wants to talk about and say, you go to
build your culture and all this stuff, But it comes
from the players. Man, the GM head coach, they bring
in the players. It's on the players, I think, and
the leaders of that team to get should get along
and do all those things off the field that kind
of bring it together.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
And that's what when you have a bond like that,
when you do.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
Lose a game, then you're not pointing fingers back and
forth at each other.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
I guess I.

Speaker 5 (06:58):
Think it's just a it's the thing that we can't measure.
We can't see. None of us as fans really get
to see any of it. But the people that are there,
I guarantee you those trainers they know if this team
gets along, They know if the culture is good. Like
the trainers, the equipment people, all the people every single
day that deal with these players.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
They know if a team is tight or not. For sure,
Oh yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
And whenever you know you got people openly speaking about
the culture too, like the players, I think that's great news.
Like anytime you get the players coming out talking about it,
I think it's really good.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
And all right. So that's what it's amazing.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Have you noticed this week after that Sunday night football
statement flex that the Hawks made, have you noticed the
love And granted I've seen it, and I know a
lot of you had talked to me about it. And
that's one of the things, as you have conveyed to
me since I got here, Mark, look at the lack
of respect that Seattle gets with the Mariners, the Hawks,

(07:56):
and and I can I've even seen it before I
got here, that people, you know, even twenty years ago
when the Hawks were, you know, making a run to
the Super Bowl with Mike Homgrin and Sean Alexander and
Matt hassel Back, and you know, back then, they weren't
getting the love they deserved.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
And I've seen it for years and years and years.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
You know, it took someone like Ken Griffy Junior for
Seattle to be put on the map and get the
respect that they deserve. But did you notice this week though,
in particular, that there's nothing but adulation and love? And
this is something that if it was a college team,

(08:35):
I'd be worried about it. But Mike McDonald and the
culture that he has instilled inside the Virginia Mason Athletic
Center in Renting is so great that these guys they're
blocking out the noise, good, bad and ugly. And this
week it's been nothing but love. To quote the late
Great Heavy d Okay, it's nothing but love. But they're

(09:00):
blocking it out right now. They're concentrated on Jacoby Brissett,
Trey McBride and this Cardinals and Marvin Harrison Junior, as
Gus Johnson likes.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
To call maserati. That's what they're concentrating on. This Sunday.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
But there's nothing I've seen, nothing but like effusive praise
heaped upon this Seattle Seahawks team all week long, since
Sunday night, and justifiably so. The good news is that
they're not gonna overlook Arizona despite the fact that they
have beaten the Matride times. It's not gonna happen. So

(09:40):
this is gonna be a tough game on Sunday, though.
I want everybody out there, no, this will not be
a blowout. You saw what happened last night at Denver.
The Raiders had no business being in that game, and
they came out and they punched Denver in the mouth
and they went back and forth for four straight rounds
quarters that is. But expect this to be a lot

(10:02):
on Sunday what you saw last night. Hopefully the score
will be a little bit higher. Okay, because that was
brutal last night. That was a Rosie O'donnald game. That
was ugly, af you know what I mean. That was
fugly last night. We don't want to see that. But
it's gonna be a tough game on Sunday, So don't
overlook this team.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
Jacoby Brissette. They got something going.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
And you saw remember in that second half, kid, what
Marvin Harrison Junior did to Devin Witherspoon and this Seattle
Seahawks defense. He completely abused them in the second half,
which is why they came back and almost won that
game if it wasn't for Meyers fifty two yard walk

(10:42):
off game winning field goal at the buzzer. So from
that standpoint, I'm looking at this team and I'm looking
at this game, and I'm saying this is gonna be
a tough one on Sunday, Absolute tough one. So we
will talk to Wilbo Circa and we'll get everything. Oh,
by the way, coming up later today at noon, all

(11:06):
your fantasy football questions will be answered, and we're gonna
do a bunch of giveaways. Ian Ritchie's gonna gonna give
away a bunch of things for your fantasy team for projections.
We're gonna have something coming up at noon that you're
gonna want to stay tuned for as well, MJ and
the midday, we'll talk to Wilbo coming up next from

(11:27):
Circa in Vegas right here on Sports Radio ninety three.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
To three KJR FM.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
So tell us what you got right now, on the
Huskies Wisconsin game tomorrow one thirty kickoff here in the
PNW and on the West coast, they are out at
Camp Randall. What's the action on the sides and totals
you have there for the Huskies and Badgers.

Speaker 6 (11:52):
Yeah, thanks for having me as always Mjay looking at
Camp Randall. So we opened the line at my is
twelve forty five and a half the current line that
we have at circa I went down to minus eleven
and forty five. So looking at that game, you know,

(12:13):
we're seeing a good amount of handle. Eighty three percent
of the bets are on Washington. However, we are seeing
about seventy percent of that handle at the moment on Wisconsin,
so the money's in on Wisconsin so far.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
Interesting. Any movement on the total.

Speaker 6 (12:35):
Yeah, I mean you don't get bets down at half point,
so it's standing pretty firm in terms of what we
open to what it currently is at. So nothing too
crazy there.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
So I brought this sut with my producer. In the
first segment, will Bow, is there anything?

Speaker 7 (12:50):
Is there any song that you could think of in
music history that reaks a white people anthem more than
House to Pay jump Around, which they do at Camp
Randall in Wisconsin for every home game.

Speaker 6 (13:07):
Look, no, I can't think of a different song that
that reachs more of that. But I gotta give it
to a game at Camp Randall. It is pretty.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
Happen, right, Yeah, No, I have not, But Scott Van
Pelt says is the best environment in college football. I
don't know, Scott. I've never been there, Scott. I've been
to Death Valley at LSU. I've been to the other
Death for a night game Alabama LSU at night on
a Saturday night. I've been to the Swamp. I've been

(13:39):
a Tuscaloosa obviously, the old Orange Bowl, hard Rock Stadium,
the Knoxville Neelan, you name it, Nebraska, Notre Dame.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
I I gotta see Camp Randall to but I know
it's electric. And I mean, listen, They're two and six
on the season, and there's the reason why this game
might be tougher, it could be closer and interesting how
a lot of money has now come in on Wisconsin right,
something to keep an eye on. All Right, one of
the hottest teams in the NFL right here in Seattle,

(14:10):
getting ready for a big game on Sunday at one
oh five Hawks, Cardinals, Cardinals, Wilbow coming off a huge
win on Monday Night football, making a statement with Jakobe
Burssett and Jerry World against the Cowboys. What's the line
at There? Has there been any movement either way since
it opened?

Speaker 6 (14:32):
Yeah, I mean, and you did nail it man. The
Seahawks they have been looking pretty pretty damn good, you know,
and Cardinal's coming off a big win Seahawks at home.
Though we opened at six six and a half on
total being forty five, we wind up half point up
to seven is what we're currently at, favoring the Seahawks,

(14:53):
and in total say the same as Zach same Axac
same and forty five. But you know, Gando on the
same lines as what we saw was walking to Wisconsin. No.
Sixty of the bets. You know, you're looking at majority
on Seattle. But you know here at circa seventy percent

(15:14):
of the money in the handle is on the Cardinals.
So as of now, the book will most likely be
rooting for Seattle come Sunday.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Who All right, well, I'll tell you this, your boss,
the Great Derek Stevens, the founder, the chairman, the president, CEO,
the final Boss of the Circa. Okay, he came on
this show at the end of August and he talked
about and you know this as well, because you know nothing,
you can't get a syndicate that come in there and
plays a lot of money.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
And he said that the.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
Syndicate came in to your casino and your sports book
at the end of August and they put millions of
dollars on the Seattle Seahawks over on wins. And I
think at that point it had got to about eight
and a half. Started off at seven and a half. Obviously,
it doesn't look like that's even gonna be an issue
at six and two in the first eight games, and said, right,

(16:04):
Seattle Seahawks.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
To win the Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
So, Wilbo, did those guys have the almanac from Back
to the Future too, because both of those things are
looking pretty good right now.

Speaker 6 (16:13):
Yeah, I mean one hundred percent they knew something obviously,
And yeah, we definitely have somewhat of a liability on
the Seahawks when it comes to future Super Bowl tickets.
But hey man, they're a really good team. That defense
is solid, So yeah, I think that win total right
there is not something that those guys need to worry

(16:36):
about too much.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
So far, No, not at all.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
All right, player props. I've been on a roll recently
on them. Sam Darnold at one point last week halftime
of the Commanders game was sixteen of sixteen, four touchdowns.
What are his passing yards totals and TD passes for Sunday?

Speaker 6 (16:56):
Yeah, so right now, we got donald over under yards
and two hundred and fifty seven and a half. So
we opened that up today and that's kind of where
we're at. So two fifty seven and that and a
half is where that line is for the passing yards.
And then as for the touchdowns, we got that line
at one and a half minus one sixty to the

(17:17):
over one and a half touchdown passes under at plus
one forty.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
I you said one and a half on the touchdown
passes at what.

Speaker 6 (17:27):
And minus one sixty?

Speaker 1 (17:28):
So definitely do oh wow, Yeah, it's so man, that's yeah.
I had no value on that one. I don't love
the passing yards. I'm gonna tell you, Arizona. I know
they're without three starters, Mac Wilson, Max Melton, and Will Johnson,
but I don't I don't know that I mean, it's
not like insurmountable. It's just you know, I don't love

(17:53):
it all right, the guy who's the number one receiver
in the NFL this season, nearly a thousand yards through
only eight games.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
J S and Jackson Smith and Jigba.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
What are his receiving yard total for Sunday?

Speaker 6 (18:06):
Yeah? Man, he is so much fun to watch. God
jasend man. He has been a pleasure just to be
able to watch. And I'm lucky enough to have him
on a few of my fantasy teams, so that's been helpful.
Over under receiving yards ninety six and a half, so
right under that one hundred yard mark.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
Yeah, and by the way, it should be. I mean,
he's that's what he does every game. Receptions. What do
you got for catches?

Speaker 6 (18:31):
We don't have the total, We don't have the total
receptions up quite yet. But for the touchdowns, for the touchdown,
he's even money to score a touchdown tomorrow here at Sarka.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
Even money to score a touchdown. Well, he didn't do
it last week against the Commanders. Everybody thinks, you know,
Tory Horton got to, Elijah Royal got one, and Drek
Young as well. He didn't not I think Cody White
they he didn't get one last Sunday night, despite the
fact that you would have thought he did. All right,
So those are interesting totals for this weekend. Rams forty

(19:03):
nine Ers, another game NFC West Side in total, what
have we seen there?

Speaker 6 (19:10):
Yeah, another marquee game. You know, this is definitely gonna
have center screen audio here at Serika and the sportsbook,
you know, with the proximity to Las Vegas, with all
the Rams and forty nine Ers fans we always have
in the house. We opened up at minus three and
a half total being forty nine.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
And a half.

Speaker 6 (19:31):
That got bet up to the minus four and a
half for the Rams, and the total moved half a
point up to fifty. So another game. I'd expect to
see a really large amount of volume on this, And yeah,
it's looking like we're gonna need the Rams. You know,
seventy of the bets have been on the forty nine
Ers and the same round, the same amount percentage of

(19:54):
handle is also being on the forty nine ers. So
still early, you know, but I will be surprised if
either Rams come Sunday all.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
Right and Matthew Stafford leads the league in touchdown passes?

Speaker 2 (20:08):
What is that at?

Speaker 1 (20:09):
And I had imagine if Sam Darnold's minus win sixty,
I'm gonna guess that Matthew Stafford must be minus two ten.

Speaker 6 (20:17):
Yeah. Well we actually, you know, for for our total
on Stafford, we put out over under two and a half. Okay,
so over under two and a half is plus one
thirty five. Uh and then the under is juice to
minus one fifty five.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
All right, will Bow, Chris will Gut.

Speaker 6 (20:37):
Yeah. Sorry. Then I was just gonna talk about his
passing yards. You know, you know he's been throwing it
with Pooka and Davonte, and his over under passing yards
is two hundred and sixty three uh and a half
year a half there on the passing yards.

Speaker 1 (20:49):
I love that because they haven't really been able to
establish the run, much like here in Seattle with with
with the Hawks. That's why maybe both of those maybe
now I start to think of it more and more
Darnold and Stafford.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
And by the way you put that on center screen,
I understand I'm gonna tell you right now and you
can I don't need to tell you this, but I'm
just gonna assure you this the fuck.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Next Sunday, you're gonna have.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
The Seahawks and and and Rams center screen at CIRCA.

Speaker 6 (21:18):
Right, he had no question about that.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
It's great, Yeah for sure, Yeah yeah, all right, we'll
have your boy. We got the head of fantasy sports,
Ian Richie, coming up at noon to answer everything fantasy football.

Speaker 2 (21:30):
We're late. We're gonna have some giveaways there. Wilbo. Always
great to talk to you.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
We'll talk to you next week and have a great,
uh fun weekend. Man, it's it's it's the most wonderful
time of the year.

Speaker 6 (21:43):
Absolutely, man, always a pleasure. MJ.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
All right, we'll talk to you next week. All right,
coming up next hitting to all Fields. He was just
recently on our show, and uh he has an idea
on what he needs to do and how he would
go old school to fix a certain city.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
We'll get to that.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
And Tyler Drake from Arizona Sports will preview the Seahawks
Cardinals game coming up at eleven Factor Fiction eleven thirty
five on a Football Friday, sponsored by Tito's Handmade Vodka.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
Got to this.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
Point where they own the Cardinals. They own this team.
They've beaten them eight straight times, eight in a row,
and to do that over any team in the NFL,
it's tough to do, especially over team in your own division.
It's even tougher because you face them twice a year.
But for some reason, the Hawks have the number of

(22:38):
the Cardinals, and kid, when you look at that, you
also wonder, how do you know?

Speaker 6 (22:46):
You know?

Speaker 1 (22:46):
It's kind of that way when you look at the
Seahawks and Rams, or sometimes Seahawks and Niners. No matter
how great the Hawks can play, you know, the Niners
seem to have their number, except last year when Gino
went into to Levi Stadium and one on that runoff
there at the end.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
But why is it? Why do you think the Hawks
have the number of the Cardinals?

Speaker 8 (23:08):
So easily, better players, better coaching. I think all those
factor into the Seahawks having success against them. The Cardinals
are right there, but they just can't get over the hump.
And now they have a quarterback situation. A guy that
they deem to be the future is not panting out
and they have to make yet another tough decision, and

(23:30):
that's bringing a backup in with the Seahawks. I think
I've played a couple of times before, but nonetheless, they
just had a couple of seasons where against the Seahawks,
that is where they're just not good enough. Like Bruce
Arians was a problem, like that guy, that head coach,
how he had his teams prepared was always a battle
as it hasn't been that way since Bruce Arians. So

(23:50):
it's been the Seahawks is dominating kind of what you
see the Niners do to the Seahawks just dominating. So
that's the situation. I think that the coaching just hasn't
been as good. A lot of star power with the Seahawks.
They've had a lot more better players than the Cardinals
have had, so I think that plays a role into it.
But it's still a divisional game. They're gonna be up
for it. It won't be a kegwalk despite as you mentioned,

(24:13):
they're gonna have three defensive players that will be out.
I would expect for them to play some of their
best football and I expect to see do the same
thing and come out Victoria, especially at home. They've proven
that they can win at home. Can they continue doing
so because they're dominant on the football on the road.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
Yeah that yeah, that was Uh, that's a good point.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
I mean, I think with everything else you've got where
this is a situation that it's gonna be a tough
game on Sunday, make no mistake about it. And they're
gonna come in and they can fight. And you saw
what they did to Dak Prescott. I think they sacked
them four times on Sunday Monday night, excuse me. And
they're gonna come in and it's gonna be a tough game.
This is gonna this is gonna be a defensive minded game.

(24:56):
I'm not saying they're not gonna be able to score
some touchdowns, but that forty five and a half, I'm
leaning under under on that one, all right. Coming up
next Tyler Drake from Arizona Sports dot Com and ninety
eight point seven FM, we will preview the Seahawks Cardinals

Paper Ghosts: The Texas Teen Murders

Paper Ghosts: The Texas Teen Murders takes you back to 1983, when two teenagers were found murdered, execution-style, on a quiet Texas hill. What followed was decades of rumors, false leads, and a case that law enforcement could never seem to close. Now, veteran investigative journalist M. William Phelps reopens the file — uncovering new witnesses, hidden evidence, and a shocking web of deaths that may all be connected. Over nine gripping episodes, Paper Ghosts: The Texas Teen Murders unravels a story 42 years in the making… and asks the question: who’s really been hiding the truth?
