Speaker 2 (00:51):
So there was a recent survey, you know how much
you'll love a survey the top worst pains in the world. Okay,
the two most painful things in the world were ranked.
I guess they did a study. So this is according
to science, and it is worse than childbirth. Oh what

(01:15):
do you think the top pains are? I probably shouldn't
have said that because you could have guessed that one.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
But Christie, I'm gonna say stubbing your toe, now that's no.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
But that's really really painful. No, it's not as painful
as childbirth.

than childbirth.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
I'm gonna have to say it's something that involves a cut. No,
it is something that involves a bug. Oh gosh, Yes,
I don't know. The worst pain in the world is
getting bitten by a bullet ant.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Oh god.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Ant was ranked as one of the most painful things
in the world. A bite from a bullet ant, which
is probably about maybe maybe half an inch. The pain
from the sting is so severe it like attacks your
nervous system and paralyzes you because it hurts so much.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
An ant from an ant, oh gosh, you know.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
And then second is this thing called cr PS, complex
regional pain syndrome.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
What is that? I guess it's just a pain syndrome.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
I don't know, it's chronic pain and it usually affects people.
And they said it causes like burning pain and swelling,
and that is those two are like worse than child
Oh gosh, well, but I hope I don't get bit
by an ant. I mean, come on, now here is
a pain that you feel like, is the worst pain
you've ever experienced? Call one eight sixty six, nine hundred

(03:06):

Live in morning.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Drop before we hop aboard the Crazy Train.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Quick reminder of seven twenty go commercial free for eighty minutes. Today,
the Crazy Train is headed out to Louisiana, where a
woman told deputies the reason she jumped in her neighbor's
pond naked is because.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
She was just trying to be a mermaid.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
She did not Aaron loves this sudden took her clothes off,
walked over to her neighbor's house and jumped in their pond.
Of course, they called the police to say that she
was trespassing when she refused to get out of the water.
Police eventually got her out of the water, but then
she decided to charge at a police officer.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
Oh here we go.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Then she was tased, but it had no effect on
her because she's a mermaid.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
Can you imagine, like looking out your window, mean.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
What the heck forget a mermaid? Meth Maid is more
like you there, meth maid. That's crazy and that is
what you get when you ride the Crazy Train.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
Every weekday at seven, ten and nine to forty have
a mermaid joke. Oh God, here we go. Do you
know why mermaids wear seashells? Why Karna? Because they grew
out of their b shels? Oh we'll be here all week,
friends and family. Sorry, does we get canceled first? That's

(07:02):
one of my favorite jokes.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Morning Drive with Christy ly on Classic Kids one three points.
It's time for the great debate.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Is school a waste of time? I mean, why go
to school? Just stay at home and play video games
all day? That is what one dad is telling his kid.
But is that the right thing to do? Today's great
debate comes from the news. You may have heard about
this story. There is this kid in Japan who is
a gamer. He plays esports, and now he asked his parents, hey,

(07:37):
can I quit going to school so I can really
focus on my esports career?

Speaker 3 (07:42):
And his parents are like, yeah, cool, bet done.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
But of course other parents in the internet are outrage
about it.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Do you think that's a good idea? That is the
question for this morning's great debate. Kids are making a
lot of money playing video games. If you could save
money on college just by playing video games.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
And it makes your kid happy? Why not? This kid
is thirteen years old, by the way, it's very young.
Why not.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
I have a friend whose son is a gamer right now,
and his son is playing in tournaments.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
He's really good and is making a lot of money.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
I mean, people stop going to school to do gymnastics,
People stop going to school to be musicians or child
actors or actresses. If this is something your kid is
good at, why not let them do it?

Speaker 3 (08:29):
How kind of right there with you?

Speaker 4 (08:30):
If they're really good at it and it brings in
some money, Oh yeah, I'll let you quit school.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
The game it's twenty twenty six.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Like, if the object of the game is to be
happy and successful, and your kid clearly has something that
is making them happy and they're good at it. If
they're getting scraped by like level one, don't let your
kid quit school to like play video games. But clearly
this kid is really good at gaming. And they said
that the top gamers spend twelve to fourteen hours a day.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
Damn gaming. What do you think? One eight sixty six,
nine hundred and one three seven.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
You can tap the red microphone on our free iHeartRadio
app to join in on this morning's Great Debate.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
You'll wait to hear what you have to say about
this one.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
Next, back to the Great Debate Classic Kids. One oh
three point seven.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
Thirteen year old asked his parents if he quit going
to school so he could be a full time gamer.
He's already gaming quite a bit and is already quite successful,
and his parents have said yes, And now it's divided
the internet. You think it's a good idea for a
kid to quit school so they could be a gamer?
I mean, if they're good at it. Tom, you spent
decades in education.

Speaker 7 (09:43):
What do you think if the purpose of education was
clearly to get a career and make money. I'm all
for it. But there's so implication. There's a fitness implication.
Why do I envision this poor kid being six hundred
pounds and stuck indoors and never having a wife, never
having friends, social interaction. And the final observation is when

(10:07):
the solar flares finally fry all the satellite he's not
gonna be able to play those games anymore.

Speaker 8 (10:12):
What is he going to fall back on?

Speaker 3 (10:13):
Okay, there you go, so he will vote for no.

Speaker 9 (10:17):
Thank you, you guys.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Are awesome, appreciate you have a great day, by bye,
Good morning Chris. What do you think is it a
good idea for a kid to quit school so they
could be a full time gamer, especially if they're good
at it?

Speaker 8 (10:31):
No, no, no, that kids suppish to be learning how
to read and write. And what's going to happen in
the future when he looks for a job.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
I mean, if you're a gamer, that is your job.

Speaker 8 (10:41):
No, no, no. If he was in his mid twenties, whin,
he's first at college list for a year, But then
get yourself out there and get a job.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
Okay. What do you think?

Speaker 5 (10:51):
Is the question?

Speaker 3 (10:52):
It always is for the Great Debate.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
His thirteen year old in Japan going viral because he
asked his parents to quit school so he could be
professional gamer, and his parents are one hundred percent all in.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
I'm like, if you're good at it, why not? What
do you think though?

Speaker 2 (11:09):
One eight sixty six nine hundred one three seven Tap
the red microphone on our free iHeartRadio app if you
want to leave a talkback to jump in to The
Great Debate.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
On classic hits.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Back to the Great Debate Classic Kids one oh three point.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
Seven Quentin school to pursue a career as a professional
gamer that probably would not have made since in the
late eighties early nineties, like oh, I'm gonna play duck
Hunt forever. But now a days it seems like kids
are making money playing video games. And there is a

(11:51):
thirteen year old in Japan who's going viral because he
asked his parents can I quit school so I can
like do this professionally, and his parents are one hundred
percent on board.

Speaker 9 (11:59):
Ran What do you think, Yeah, I think that's all.
It's all bad. You have to learn not life. You're
not mature. Your brain's not mature, it's not fully developed.
And starting a career at thirteen seriously tight Kids that
you know, geniuses and they make these discoveries or they
do all these things you know when they're kids, and
then they burn out in their twenties and then they

(12:21):
have no wife after that. It happens when he gets
tired of gaming. I mean, gaming's funny on that, but
if it becomes a career, it's like, those are a
lot of things that I really enjoy doing, but I
don't want to do them for a living because that
takes fun out of it.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
It's like me and wine.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
I love drinking wine, I'm not going to quit doing
this to drink a full time.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
I mean it might see what you started. Randy, have
a great day.

Speaker 9 (12:44):
Thank you, have a good Dame oh Man.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
Got another call here, Linda.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
What do you think is it a good idea let
your kid quit school so they could be a professional gamer?

Speaker 3 (12:52):
Gamers make money.

Speaker 10 (12:54):
I don't think they should let him get out of school.
I think the parents are being really silly because the
kids are only thirteen and their brain is really not
in control maturely, and everybody in the world gets tired
of what they're doing after a while, and you should
always have a backup plan. So with him not getting
a regular education, it's the parents are keeping him from

(13:15):
having a good life later when he's tired of the gaming.
I don't care how much money he made, he's still
going to be dumped because he's not getting educated.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
Contracated, dumb, dumb.

Speaker 5 (13:26):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
Appreciate your thoughts on the Great Debate, Christy.

Speaker 4 (13:35):
Pretty much everyone said don't let your quit your kid quit.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
This is why your your kids to be educated because
of things like that. Right there, shout out to the
Laho School District.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
Oh now you're hating I didn't hate on him.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
I just said, shout out to the Layo School district.
Are you doing in high school? Okay, this is a
jot to you, bude school district. You know, yeah, but
don't you can't quit. You can't quit me. Oh game over.

Always appreciate you being a part of the Great Debate.
And if you have a question for the Great Debate,
bring it to the table. Hey, we'll set it up.
Give you a console or.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
A Nintendo sixty four controller. I don't know, I was
just thinking of gaming. Once again, shout out to people
in the whole school district.
