Speaker 1 (00:04):
Happy Victory Monday.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Let's go, baby!

Speaker 1 (00:09):
And not just a victory. Complete belt to ass Monday.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Oh, what a game.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
What a game.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Absolutely insane.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Oh, they're pretty back and forth throughout the game.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Yeah, that first half was a cinema. And then.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
We ran away with it.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Just took over. The defense showed up fourth quarter. If
that's what you want to call it. We are the
Morning Mosh Pit. I am Maris. I'm Michael. We got
two more days of Bro Week 2026. That's right. Until
the Mistress of Chaos returns. Maria is out on vacation.

(00:46):
Having a time of her life in a jungle.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
It looks like she just posted the animals. All the dogs.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
She has found all the wilderness where she is right now.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
By the way, highest scoring season opener in NFL history
and a franchise record for points in a season opener.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Absolutely wild.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Caleb, I know you're up and listening, bro.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Great job. great job man i mean i know everybody's
telling you that but i know it comes it's extra
special coming from us.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Yes especially after we had all that trash talk to
deal with with our man from uh the panthers.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Yeah what was the panther what did he say the
panthers uh motto was keep pounding.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Keep pounding boy pound on my friend but give us
some weather there bud yeah let's do it michael says
don't go outside or look out your window it'll ruin
the surprise here's weather Hmm.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Oh, we got to talk about this today, too. You know,
Nashville voted to rename the airport in honor of Dolly Parton.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
What would you name O'Hare if we could, if you
could rename it? I would go Michael Jordan International Airport.
I think that's what you have to do, but. Maybe
there's other ones.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
I think there's a few others we could circle in there.
It's fall.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
So 49 degrees when I was walking in today. 55
right now out there in downtown Chicago. Going to start
off with a little bit of sunshine this morning. Then
possibility of some showers early afternoon. Cloudy in the afternoon.
Then another possibility of showers late in the evening. That's
kind of going to be the story for the rest
of the week. A high of 84 this week. period

(02:23):
uh and showers and storms all throughout the week so
we are rolling into fall here which if the bears
are winning baby it can rain all day.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
It caught me off guard i had my shorts on
and it yeah it hit my ankles and i was
like oh no your ankles like oh i gotta cover
these up uh on the way though uh wendy's has
the return of the t-rex burger could you eat nine
patties i could try yeah i definitely would try all.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Right we'll tell you about it next Would you eat
a T-Rex burger? That's the question. Rock 95.5 Chicago's Rock Station.
Wendy's Long Band T-Rex Burger. A 3,000... Man, America is healing.
A 3,000 calorie, nearly $ 30 item that includes nine beef patties,
nine slices of cheese, is back for a limited time.

(03:12):
Oklahoma Wendy's as of right now. Somebody in our chat
was from Oklahoma. They said it was going to be
like 100 degrees there today.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Gross.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Um here is what you can do you go in
you order it up they stack it up high for
you you gotta eat it in less than nine minutes
nine patties nine minutes you gotta so you what you
gotta go patty a minute i mean you could i
think yeah i think even i could do that.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Well here's the other thing we all know um i
mean allegedly These fast food restaurants have been shrinking everything.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
That's true.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
It's like a slider. This ain't the patty from the 90s. Yeah, right.
This patty is very eatable within a minute.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Meaning it's horse. Beef's expensive lately.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Allegedly. But no, I think nine minutes is plenty of
time to knock that bad boy out. Man. Wendy's doesn't
have like a huge patty that you've got to get through. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Speaking of small patties, I've got to say F the
Packers all the time.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
That was fun to watch, including my new favorite thing
is to watch Packers fans just fall apart online.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Oh, it's glorious.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Here's one for you, Maris. Could you do the Big Texan?
It's the 72-ounce steak challenge. you get 4.5 pound steak
shrimp cocktail baked potato salad and a roll in 60 minutes.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
I'm fine on the steak it's when you add all
the extra stuff in that's where.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
The potato and the roll are what's gonna kill me
i could do.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
The rest of it that's gonna that's gonna max me
out and then like with those food challenges is always
interesting because you're like, you get thirsty and you want
to drink. And then it's like, how much do I drink?
If I drink too much, am I going to get
full and lose space? And I was like, there's a
lot of science and math going around that.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
I got a Mac daddy pancake challenge. The Mac 24
seven in Waikiki, Hawaii, three 14 inch pancakes. That's five
pounds with toppings in 90 minutes. It's very close to
100 Pancakes vibe.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
If I was still in high school and running and
playing soccer like I used to, absolutely. All day. I
wouldn't even think about it. But right now, no.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Pancake's a little spongy, too.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
It might be easier.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
What about this?

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Last one here.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Fat Sal's Big Fat Fatty in L.A.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
30-inch hero.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Stuffed with cheesecake, pastrami, burger, like beef, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, bacon, eggs, fries,
and onion rings.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
How long do you have?

Speaker 2 (05:40):
30 minutes.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
No. Yeah, there's no way. That's insane. Here's the thing.
That sounds like something I want to try.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
I'll take a couple bites.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
We'd get me, you, Maria, and the rest of the
Rock 95.5 staff, and we'd cut it up and split
it and just pay the bill because I definitely want
to try that.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
I do got one more here. The Acme Oyster House
Challenge in New Orleans is just eat as many oysters
as you can. They say in one hour, the record
is 462. I think Maria could. challenge that record could
you imagine a little later in the day how that
would be i don't.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
I don't want to think about it i don't want
to think about it uh coming up in five things
a little bit later your chance to win tickets to
see unshattered the new documentary from lincoln park who's on
your radio.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Now Highest scoring season opener in NFL history and a
franchise record for points in a season opener. Rock 95.5
Chicago's Rock Station in the morning. Mosh Pit is on
and it is Victory Monday! How nice was that to

(06:51):
open the season with a massive win yesterday? A massive win.
A huge. It wasn't even close. It wasn't like we
got up early and then the team caught back up
and then it was really close to right at the end. Like,
I don't know, the Lions game.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Shut up. Because let's not act like everybody in this
lovely city wasn't worried at halftime. We were. The score
was so close. And Young looked like he was a
pretty solid quarterback. And they were just going back and forth.
But shout out to the Bears figuring out how to defense. Yeah.

(07:30):
Because that was definitely lacking this game. Wow, it was.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
And along with us and Carolina's defense, I mean, it
was an offensive game.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
Belt to ass. I guess. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
Murder.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
I don't know what you say. Massacre, I think, was
what I was looking for. Like the run game. I
got to say, that's where I was most impressed with everything.
Caleb being elusive and getting some rushing touchdowns. You got
DeAndre Swift had a game. And my nun guy with
that 60-yard run. Like, come on, man.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
I saw people doing this online, so I'm going to
do it, too. Come on, nun guy, with another first down.
you so much caleb williams 269 passing yards two passing
touchdowns two rushing touchdowns how about him using his feet
yeah getting out there running by the way uh i
will say and i don't care if any other quarterbacks
in the in the league do this caleb stop running

(08:26):
head first that no no the one where he went
into the end zone and they hit him from both
sides i thought boy he popped up real quick and
looked okay but how do you get hit by a truck.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
And be okay I think he's used to it at
this point. I don't even like it at all.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Slide.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
I do agree with you. He's got to protect himself
a little bit more. But the offense looked amazing in
the win.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Thank God.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Yes. Some adjustments on defense, for sure. I don't know
if that's going to. be effective or if it's just
going to be like hey we're going to get into
a shootout we're shooting for 60 because i mean ben
johnson said he wanted to score the most points ever
which is fine um speaking of ben um.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Oh yeah this is fun so he went and did
the little rundown after the game in uh in the
locker room where he gave the balls out and all
that and said who was what we did what we
didn't do and then he was he said this well
he said that's it he was like that's it I

(09:38):
like that he made them think he wasn't going to
do it. And they're like, come on, coach. We need it.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
I will say I like that. Yeah, I really like
that for morale in the locker room.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
And how about just a great coach? He yes, he
has turned that around, man.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
He's really turned it around. And the players love him.
And yes, he's got the entire locker room behind him.
But we do want to hear from you. How are
you feeling after the big win yesterday? 8-4-4, 9-5-5, 95-50.
Are there any adjustments you'd like to see for Week
2 when they come home? Maybe a few.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
But, yes, Week 2 game kickoff noon right here at
Soldier Field.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Five-ish things you almost certainly need to know. It's a
hell of a community service. I'll tell you that much. Things.
Well done, Michael. Tom Holland has now become the highest
grossing actor in box office history. And that includes international
movies as well. I want to say having a big

(10:40):
summer with Spider-Man brand new day and then the Odyssey
as well really pushed him over to take the new seat.
He has raked in collectively fifteen point five billion dollars in.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Movies he has acted in. I wonder how much he
took home.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
A good amount. I'll say he took home a good amount. Yeah,
Tom's doing fine. McDonald's is giving away a double cheeseburger
on National Cheeseburger Day. All you have to do is
spend at least a dollar in the McDonald's app. My
McDonald's on Friday, September 18th. You got yourself a free

(11:19):
double cheeseburger. Great. The DEA has seized meth hidden in cabbage.
People are getting a lot more creative and it almost worked.
The Rio Grande Valley group intercepted the cabbage shipment. and
found wrapped balls of meth impressively disguised in a convincing
coating that matched the cabbage leaves. And they have pretty

(11:43):
good x-ray machines, which is how it all got caught.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
This is where they make the cabbage and lettuce and
stuff seem like all bad, so nobody will tell you, like, mm-mm,
that's fine. You got cabbage and lettuce, you keep it going.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
Right. And a man has avoided a $ 12, 000 library fine
by returning a magazine that was overdue for 132 years. Okay,
that's crazy. That's 48,220 days. It was a scroll. Now,
this magazine called The Century Illustrated Monthly somehow found its
way into his home. And once he found it, he

(12:24):
did go to return it. Thankfully, that library had been
working on a new system to get some of their
property back. They were freezing late fees. And finally, 844-955-9550.
We've been talking about this for a little while, but
Linkin Park has a new documentary coming out called Unshatter.
It's going to have a limited release starting on September 30th.

(12:47):
And we want you to be there to experience this.
You know there's going to be some great music as
a part of this. And it was all curated by
or directed by that man, Johan.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
844-955-9550.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Be caller 10. Michael, what is that number? I can't
wait to do this one.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
844-955-9550.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
Mr. Johan. It is the Morning Mosh Pit on Rock 95.5.
Just two more days. Two more days of the duo.
Bro Week 2026 will be coming to an end tomorrow.

(13:27):
Maria will be back on Wednesday. But then I will
be out, headed to O'Hare.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Going to be flying away a little bit. And we
were just talking about this in studio as Nashville– has
set to rename their airport after Dolly Parton.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
I think that's cool.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
Which is absolutely amazing. It's a beautiful gesture. Dolly has
done so much for the state of Tennessee. It is
well-deserved in her own regard. Which got us thinking. Midway
and O'Hare are quite boring names. Yeah. I mean, yes,
there are history behind both of those. But if we
could name one of our... airports after a celebrity, who

(14:11):
would you want to name them after?

Speaker 2 (14:14):
844-955-9550.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
I've got a few that come to mind. How about you, Michael?

Speaker 2 (14:19):
I got a few. O'Hare actually named after a Navy
fighter pilot who his dad was almost more famous. His
dad was a lawyer around here who was like a
lawyer for Al Capone for years and years and years.
Ended up rolling over on Al, though, and helping him
get nailed for tax evasion. I mean, eventually, which is
kind of crazy. But anyway, I would go. I think

(14:39):
I go Michael Jordan International. I think that seems like
the the go to to me. OK, Michael Jordan International Airport.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
A solid choice there. I got to give my credit
to Bozo the Clown.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
I'd be amazing. I'm flying into B.O.Z.O.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
B.O.Z. If you didn't grow up on Bozo the Clown,
you really missed out on some great television over on WGN.
It was just amazing.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Walter Payton International. That would be a good one. I
don't like the sports. I'm trying to think of if
there's any like anybody else.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Honestly, when it comes to Chicago celebrities and reach Oprah.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
Oprah. Yeah, it's true. Really owns that market in general.
Let's pull in a few phone calls really quick here. Oh, scare.
Rock 95. Five. You're live with the morning mosh pit.
Who are we speaking with?

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Hey, Maris, this is Bob.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
How are you? Hey, Bob, how are you doing? If
you had to name one of the airports after a
Chicago celebrity, who would you name them after? It'd have
to be Ditka Terminal. Oh, yeah. That's good. There you go.
Ditka Terminal. That would be amazing.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
Da Bears Airport. Da Bears International.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
Always appreciate you calling in, Bob. You know another one?
Tom Skilling.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
That'd be fun.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
I think Tom Skilling would be a great one. Texas Inn. 844-955-9550.
You got another one, Mikey?

Speaker 2 (16:07):
How about Caleb Williams International Airport?

Speaker 1 (16:10):
You know what? You know what? When Caleb wins a
Super Bowl, we can add him to the conversation.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
Malort Airport? Malort International?

Speaker 1 (16:20):
MLO? Everybody gets a free bottle. Let's check the lines here.
Rock 95.5, you're live with the Morning Mosh Pit. Who
are we speaking with? This is Kurt. Kurt. Who would
you name one of our airports after in honor of them? Well,
I think he's still alive, but I would have to

(16:40):
go with Sven Gulli.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
That's a good one, too.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
Sven Gulli would be a great one.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Sven Gulli is international.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
And you know what? You bring up a great point.
A lot of these people are still alive, but let's
honor them now and let them know how much we
care about them. But, my man, thanks for calling in.
We appreciate it. Let's get one more here. You are
live with the Morning Mosh Pit on Rock 95.5. Who
are we speaking with? Jose. Jose. Who would you name

(17:10):
an airport after?

Speaker 2 (17:12):
Harry Carey. That's the one. That has to be it.
Harry Carey International Airport has got to be it. That's
so perfect, too.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
Well done, Jose.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Just a big pair of glasses outside the airport as
you drive up.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
Everybody gets a nice thick frame glass when they arrive
to Chicago. That's awesome. That's awesome. Okay, we got two
more here. Let's get these last two in. You are
live with the Morning Mosh Pit on Rock 95.5. Who
are we speaking with? This is Dr. Joffrey. What up, buddy?
How you doing, Doc? All right. You're going to be

(17:47):
our last one. If you got to name one of
our airports after a famous Chicagoan, who would it be?

Speaker 2 (17:55):
I would have to say Belushi Airport.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
Oh, yes.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
It's got to be between Harry Carey, Michael Jordan and
John Belushi then.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
Belushi International is tougher to say. I think Harry Car- Wow,
but Michael Jordan, I mean, come on.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
We got, you know, and that's the tough part because
we have a lot of great Chicago wins that we
could honor with this.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
Smashing Pumpkins International Airport. Chevelle International.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Fallout. All right. Yeah, all the way down. Hey, thanks
for calling in. We do appreciate it. You can continue
to chime in on the text message. 844-955-9550. Or if
you want to send us a voice message, go ahead
and hit us on the talk back. That's on the
iHeartRadio app. Hit the red microphone button. And Michael.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
Yes, sir.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
We are also streaming. Yes. Where?

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Everywhere.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
We are on Instagram. We are on Facebook. We are
on Twitter. We are on YouTube. And because we can't
play the music on the air, you just get to
hang out with us in the studio while the music's playing.
So when we stop here and something starts playing, we
just start talking and goofing off off the air.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
We keep the conversation going. So if you want to
chime in on social media or on YouTube, we can
keep the chat rolling. But text 844-955-9550. Who, which Chicago
celebrity would you name one of our airports after you?
Rock 95.5. We are the Morning Mosh Pit. I am Maris.
I'm Michael. And as the NFL season only has one

(19:21):
more game left in week one, we've been seeing celebrities
pop up all over the place. And notably, there's a
lot of famous rockers who've been kind of peeking around.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
I'm trying to think of anybody I know that's famous.
I know Vince Vaughn. He's not a rocker, but Vince Vaughn,
Sebastian Maniscalco are Bears guys.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
Big Bears guys, along with, obviously, Eddie Vedder, Matt Skiba
from Alkaline Trio, Mike from Rise Against, Billy Corrigan, obviously,
and then Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump from Fall Out.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
Boy.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
Clearly, there are a ton of Chicago Bears fans falling
out of the sky right now, especially... When the Bears
are winning the way they won yesterday. Notably, the Vegas
Raiders have a good amount of rockers who root for them.
And I think that's from their days in Oakland. Yeah.
James Hetfield, Fred Durst, Dave Mustaine, Axl Rose, all big

(20:13):
fans of the Raiders. Love to see it.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
So they just followed them to Vegas, huh?

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Interesting.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
Yeah. I would think like if I was rooting for
the Bears and they became like the Tennessee Bears. I
don't know that.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
I mean.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
Do you still follow?

Speaker 1 (20:26):
No, I think because speaking of that, when the Bears
or when the Browns left to go to Baltimore, no
Cleveland fans became Baltimore fans. Or I think when the
Rams have gone back and forth between St. Louis and L.A.,
I think there was a little bit of some of

(20:47):
those fans stuck together, but then St. Louis got a
different team. Because St. Louis also had the Cardinals, I
want to say, if I'm correct. Speaking of the Cardinals,
Chester Bennington was a big fan of the Cardinals. Corey Taylor,
I would have figured he would have been a little
bit closer to uh, St. Louis Rams or the, uh, bears,

(21:10):
but he has a Colts fan. Um, Chad Smith from
the red hot chili peppers is a lions fan. Uh,
micro creedy who we saw, uh, performing at the Seahawks
halftime show. Oh, Seahawks. Yeah. Um, Brett Michaels and Jerry
can trail our, uh, Steelers fans. And this one seems
like a no brainer, but, um, Tom Morello's a Rams fan.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
Yeah, that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
L.A., let's see, a lot of L.A. fans because of
celebrities down there. And this is a short list. It's
not a fully comprehensive. Yeah, comprehensive. Yes, because obviously we're
missing a lot of Chicago guys out there.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
Joel McHale is a Seahawks guy. Trying to think of
other Seahawks fans or other Rams fans.

Speaker 1 (21:53):
Honestly, you know, sitting and talking about– just Bears fans
that are floating around. I'm excited to see who's going
to pop up at Soldier Field this year. Yeah, that'll
be really cool, actually. Just because, you know, Seth Rollins
is a big Bears guy. Vince Vaughn, like you said, Belushi. Unbelievable.

(22:14):
Like it. With the team starting the way that they did,
I expect Chicago to be a little bit of a
celebrity hub for these games, especially when you're watching a
game like yesterday at home at Soldier. You don't get
no better than that.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
You want to know a name that you wouldn't expect
who's a massive Bears fan? Who's that? Tim Duncan. Tim Duncan.

Speaker 1 (22:40):
That's interesting.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
Once held a Spurs team plane so he could finish
a Bears playoff overtime game.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
That makes sense. That's awesome. I would absolutely wait on that.
On the way, Michael, you got some rock news for us?

Speaker 2 (22:52):
I do. I got rock news. A big rock band
talking about a new album. They told the fans you
deserve a new album.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
We'll tell you about it coming up next.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
All right. New Soundgarden on the way. The band says
they're still working out the details, but we will have
a new full album with Chris Cornell on vocals.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
Needed.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
Yeah, Rock 95.5 Chicago's Rock Station. Let's do some rock news.
What do you want first? Kelly Osbourne, OnlyFans, or My
Chemical Romance, Maris? Let's do My Chemical Romance first. This
is very cool. And now I know a lot of
people roll their eyes when it comes to My Chemical Romance.
I think even people who work here, some people who
work here do. The problem is My Chemical Romance back
in the day was known as kind of an emo band.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
Here's what I'll tell you. I wasn't a huge emo guy,
but my chemical romance is on a different level. After
we saw them at their last Soldier Field show, I
was like, holy. I mean, they sold out Soldier Field.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
And put on a hell of a show. Gerard that
sings has a very different way of singing. I just
I don't need to sell you on them. They're a
great band and they are probably going to give us
another album, which no one thought would happen. My Chemical
Romance frontman Gerard Way hinted that the band hopes to
make a new album, the first in more than 15 years,
during the closing set of their Black Parade tour in

(24:07):
San Antonio on Saturday night. Dressing the crowd at the
Alamo Dome, he framed it as a hope rather than
a plan, saying, quote, Just know that we've really wanted
to make another record for a long time, so we
hope that life will allow us to do that. A
lot of the guys have kids now. I mean, I
always said that being in a band would be the
hardest thing I think to do ever.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
Well, they took that break. Right. And I think that
kind of settled things down on album hopes. But yeah,
take your time. Get an album out when you can.

Speaker 2 (24:37):
He went on and finished. He said, because you guys, honestly,
you guys kept us alive for so long. You deserve
another record. I don't know when it'll be, but it'll
be awesome.

Speaker 1 (24:44):
Yeah, that's going to be great when it does happen.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
Yeah, very cool. Also, Kelly Osbourne back in the news.
She is dating again after her split from Sid Wilson
and his split from Slipknot. Boy, things are going bad
for Sid. He probably needs a.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
It sounds like things are going well for Kelly. Yeah,
my God.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
It says, rumor is The Sun reporting that Kelly Osbourne, 41,
has been hanging around with Brad North. a 28 year
old uk tattoo artist and only fans model gulp they
were photographed at a bonavis jovia show and a manchester
hotel and restaurant this weekend uh tabloids framed it as
a rebound after her split from fiancee sid wilson but

(25:20):
again all we really know is it's uh rumors at
this point she just hang around with the guy who
likes that you know hang out you know.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
I mean if that's what it is good job kelly
enjoy your life enjoy your time and have fun yeah
exactly Hopefully, things go better for Sid on top of
that as well.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
For all the rock news and the concert calendar, just
head yourself over to rock955.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
Com. Pit Happens is on the way next. Now, here's
the bit-only plug. We miss. What the hell is even that?

Speaker 2 (25:51):
95-50.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
We're giving away T-Box tickets with Pit Happens. Pit Happens
is the lovely game where you get stuck in a
situation and your goal is not to get kicked out,
tossed out, thrown out, or bounced out. Bye security. And
today I am your pit master and we're going to go.
And we're going to watch the games.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
Yeah, we are.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
Yeah, we're going to watch the games. Obviously, some stuff happens.
Make fans out and about. But we need you to
join us.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
Were they Packers fans? Maybe. I'm just going to rub
that in, baby. It sucks to be a Packers fan. Yep.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
Yes, indeed. But 844-955-9550, we want you to join us,
B-Collar 10, for your chance to win. Michael, what's that number?

Speaker 2 (26:34):
844-955-95F, the Packers, all the time.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Porn to wake you up on Victory Monday here on
Rock 95.5. We are the Morning Mosh Pits, and we
are ready to bring Bob in from Steger. Bob, how
are you doing this morning? I'm doing awesome. How are
you guys? We're doing fantastic. How was your weekend, Bob?
That was awesome. Saw the Bears win. There you go.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
Isn't it funny how that can just make our whole
week like, yes. It really is.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
Yes. What a beautiful Monday. I mean, yeah, I haven't
seen that either. But a very impressive win. And you
know what? That's what's going to be happening in Pit Happens.
Let's just kick it off. So, Bob, you have joined
me and Mikey as we are out just watching the game.

(27:27):
We're at Flo and Santos.

Speaker 2 (27:29):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
Great spot to not only pregame, but enjoy watching the
Chicago Bears dominate the Carolina Panthers. And after the game,
we're buzzing. We're having a good time. And we see
those rivals in the NFC North playing next. So we
decide to stick around and watch the Packers and the
Vikings beat up on each other. Strangely enough, there's Packers

(27:54):
and Vikings fans in the bar and everybody's chirping, everybody's
chirping at each other. But thankfully, the Vikings figure out football. Yeah.
But to the chagrin of the Packers fans that are
now embarrassed to be out in public. And F the
Packers chant begins at the bar. Let's go. And the

(28:18):
Packers fan looks to you, Bob, and thinks that you
started the chant.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
Oh, they're grumpy.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
As he's getting in your face, how do you maneuver
away from this so security does not kick you out?

Speaker 2 (28:32):
I hit him over the head with my cheese grater
head I.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
Like that knock him out cold push him under a
table give me a roll Michael.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
Here we go 20 sided ice 20s good one is
that That's a seven.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
That's a seven.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
Uh-oh.

Speaker 1 (28:46):
Okay, well, the cheese grater hat is made of foam,
so it doesn't work very well, and it only angers
and agitates the Packers fan even more. Michael, how are
we getting our man Bob out of this situation?

Speaker 2 (28:59):
We'll do what somebody did to me when I passed
out one time. I'm going to stand up. I'm going
to go, hey, this guy, this Packers fan's diabetic. We
need to get him some juice.

Speaker 1 (29:06):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
That will make everybody just go, oh, okay. All right,
get him some juice. We'll be good to go.

Speaker 1 (29:10):
All right.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Let's try rolling this, see if that works. That's a 17, baby.
That's a 17.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
So security runs to the medical aid of the Packers
fan that doesn't actually need any medical attention. Pour some
juice on him. Gets him away from us. And Bob,
you're going to T-Box, my man. 30th annual 12 Bars
of Christmas Bar Crawl happening over at Wrigleyville. Kicking off
at the Cubby Bear. Bob, do you have a drinking

(29:39):
partner that... you can take with you on this one.

Speaker 2 (29:41):
Oh i've got my guy joe he's gonna want.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
To go nice there we go bob and joe yeah
bob and joe are ready and a reminder um This
is a great opportunity as they do raise money for
a lot of charities around the city with this one. So, Bob,
you're all set. Everybody else, head on over to tbox.org
to get your tickets today. And we got to talk

(30:08):
about concerts in your life that has exceeded expectations. We've
all been to a lot of concerts. So get that
ready in the back of your brain, and we'll talk
about it next on Rock 95.5.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
What was a concert that far exceeded your expectations?

Speaker 1 (30:25):
Hmm.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
I would say tool was the one, one of the
first ones that I really saw where I stood there
and was just kind of in awe of what was
going on.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
Um, I think the first, well, the first and only
time I've seen my chemical romance. Yeah. I mean, it was,
there was a lot of air in the air at
riot fest because they were just coming back and doing
tours again. And I was like, I know these songs.
I didn't realize I knew these songs and then like

(30:53):
the energy in the crowd was just absolutely insane. Just nutty.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
They are a fun band live too.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 2 (30:59):
They just got everybody shaking their asses for sure. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
So I kind of went in not expecting anything and
walked away. And, you know, that buzzing feeling that you
get after a concert. I'm going to go start a band.
I'm going to start a band. I'm going to write lyrics.
I've got all these ideas for music videos. One of
the other ones for me was Beyonce.

Speaker 2 (31:19):
Oh, yeah. I've seen Beyonce. I saw her in Destiny's
Child back in the day.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
I saw her at Soldier Field and like. It was amazing.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
If you like it, it was just a shot. And
you better put a ring on it. That's true. And
I had another one. The Kanye West show.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:36):
Say what you will about Kanye. I'm separating the person
from the music here. When I walked into Soldier Field
and looked over and saw the globe, it was just
such a different thing that I had ever seen for
a concert that it was incredible to look at.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
And that's the one thing that everybody has said like that.
concert was transcendent.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
It was different.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
It really was different. It was a high-level show.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
In the YouTube chat, he says, concerts that exceeded expectations.
First one that comes to mind was the closing night
of Rockville 2019, which was where Tool debuted Invincible and
Descending before Fear Inoculum was released. By the way, we
will see Tool here in Chicago on Sunday. This week,

(32:21):
Tool is playing.

Speaker 1 (32:22):
It's not Sunday. I think it's Saturday. On Saturday?

Speaker 2 (32:24):
I thought it was a closing night. I thought Tool
closed it. Oh, maybe they just closed Saturday. They are
closing Saturday.

Speaker 1 (32:32):
Pierce the Veil and Alanis are closing on Sunday. Okay, cool.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
That's even better for me because I got to get
up early, so I'm not going to stay up too
late on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (32:40):
I was if Tool was going to play.

Speaker 2 (32:42):
Portable Ham Sandwich over in the YouTube chat says, for me,
first time seeing Pearl Jam. Uh, during the Dave a era,
absolutely awesome concert tool was an experience. That was one too.
The first time I ever saw Pearl jam made Pearl jam,
my favorite band ever. I mean, it was so good.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
Um, for me, it was also cause there's a lot
of moments that we have out there. Um, getting to
see hail storm early.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
Huh?

Speaker 1 (33:06):
Getting to see Hailstorm play a bar for about 200 people,
and there's easily 500 people in and around the area.
And Lizzie and the guys, they had this energy about
them that summer. It was just amazing to be a
part of. And then the biggest part about that for
me with them, because they came through and then they

(33:29):
were coming through pretty much annually. they still took time
for everybody to shake a hand, sign an autograph. And
that just made the concert experience so much better. And
then watching them grow over the years. I know they
were just in town with Babymetal.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
They're like, I saw them when they were nobody. I
hung out with them.

Speaker 1 (33:50):
Literally in a bar where they shouldn't have been, but
they played it like it was Soldier Field. I love
those experiences. But do you have any that you want
to share as well, 844-GUNS? nine, five, five, 95, 50.
Very quickly. Did you had some that you wanted to, uh.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
I had one more that I could think off the
top of my head. It was the pink Mohawk again,
separating the man from the music, uh, 30 seconds to Mars, uh, tour.

Speaker 1 (34:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
That was an incredible show. I mean, I, first time
I ever saw Jared Leto, I was like, Oh, this
guy either is a rock star or he's an actor
who's playing a rock star very well. Cause it was
just a fun show.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
But yeah, chime in. Text us 844-955-9550. Any concert that
has exceeded expectations for you. Let us know about it.
The Morning Lodge Pit is on Rockin' 95.5, and thank
you for joining us today. A very busy and sports-filled weekend. Michael,

(34:49):
are you ready? Bear down, baby! Let's get it!

Speaker 2 (34:52):
All right, let's get this baseball out of the way
real quick.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
Cubs lost again Sunday. 1-2, lost the third one, like usual.

Speaker 2 (34:58):
We've got a man with a two-run home run, Boyd L,
and they're back in action tonight at Wrigley against the Braves.
First pitch, 640. Pitching matchup, Peterson versus Lopez. White Sox
also lost yesterday 1-3 against the St.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
Louis Cardinals.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
The interesting thing about that is they are now half
a game back.

Speaker 1 (35:17):
You mean up.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Sorry, half a game up. Cleveland Guardians half a game back. Sorry,
Washington half a game back. They're playing Cleveland in this
next series, which starts tonight in Cleveland. First pitch, 540.
And then they host Detroit after that. But they're going
to have to play Washington before they get done here.
And they've got to win games.

Speaker 1 (35:40):
It's wins. It's time to win, especially these games against
the Guardians, because that's going to put some distance between
you guys.

Speaker 2 (35:47):
Indeed.

Speaker 1 (35:48):
The Illini lost to Duke 31 to 27, a close
game throughout. And then the big game in college football
over the weekend saw Texas come back and beat Ohio State.
Texas now sits at number one. Ohio State drops to
number six. Chicago Fire lose in a tie. 2-1 game

(36:09):
against New England, and that drops them to fifth place
in the East. But, Michael. Yeah. What are we really
here to talk about?

Speaker 2 (36:17):
That's the Packers all the time.

Speaker 1 (36:18):
I mean, go Bears.

Speaker 2 (36:19):
That's what I meant to say.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
Packers did lose.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
Thank you, Packings. In a day where the Bears win
and put up, I mean, historic numbers, Maris.

Speaker 1 (36:30):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (36:30):
I mean, and then the Packers lose on top of it.

Speaker 1 (36:33):
Oh, it's beautiful.

Speaker 2 (36:34):
What is better in the world than Maris? I know
we have.

Speaker 1 (36:38):
You don't have to bring it up. All right. Let's
focus on the historicness of the first Sunday.

Speaker 2 (36:44):
The highest scoring season opener in NFL history. Caleb Williams
on fire yesterday. The defense was there, too. What I
will say, Caleb was locked in. I don't think I've
seen him that locked in before.

Speaker 1 (37:02):
And I don't know if it was because it was
the Bryce Young game, because the Panthers and the Bears
had the trade in. Everybody's like, oh, who's going to
win the trade? Technically, I think they've both won. The
Bears are benefiting a lot more from it right now. Boy,
Caleb was on point, man.

Speaker 2 (37:16):
Watching him put... I kept watching him put balls in places.

Speaker 1 (37:19):
All right.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
I kept watching... Sir!

Speaker 1 (37:21):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (37:22):
So, you know, your receiver is covered by three people.
There is a whole... All right. There is a spot
that is like the size of the football. Now, Caleb
has three people in his face, and he still figures
out a way to deliver these passes.

Speaker 1 (37:36):
How about Rome?

Speaker 2 (37:37):
Yes with the moss in the guy yes i mean
god damn i'm excited about this team.

Speaker 1 (37:43):
I will say i had a question about rome being
the true number one um but very impressed with them
yesterday and the offense in general i think we all
have the same question but it's basically if the bears
can run it up like this defense be damned yeah
um this is gonna be a lot of fun to watch.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
And I did not like seeing the I mean, I
like seeing the Packers lose, but I don't like seeing
the Vikings take a rip and, you know, win a
big game coming into coming into town next weekend.

Speaker 1 (38:09):
I guess this weekend. Jesus, that's that's going to be interesting. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
So next game versus the Minnesota Vikings. 12 p.m. kickoff
Soldier Field this week.

Speaker 1 (38:19):
You going?

Speaker 2 (38:21):
I want to, but it's going to depend. The ticket
price is too expensive for me right now. They're like
three sixty five for the cheapest ticket in the place
right now.

Speaker 1 (38:27):
And that's.

Speaker 2 (38:28):
For me, listen, those kind of prizes, I'm going to
one game a year. And if the game I'm going to,
if there is a game I'm going to, I'm going
to the Christmas game, Packers.

Speaker 1 (38:37):
Yeah, I'll be there for Monday Night Football in two weeks.
Go Bears.

Speaker 2 (38:44):
You eating on a plane?

Speaker 1 (38:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:46):
Do you use the tray table?

Speaker 1 (38:48):
Yeah. How else am I supposed to eat on a plane, Michael?

Speaker 2 (38:52):
Well, I agree with you, and I do the same thing.
I never thought about this, but a flight attendant is
going viral. She is saying that you should never, ever,
ever eat food off an airplane tray table, and that
parents use them to change babies' diapers. People sneeze on them.
What airline does she work for? It doesn't say. It

(39:13):
didn't say here.

Speaker 1 (39:13):
Okay. Yeah. So- Yeah, I know stuff happens on the
trade table. People got their nasty laptops from God knows
what library. You know, like stuff happens. But hey. Who's
supposed to be cleaning the plane? Yeah, exactly. It's not me.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
That's a good point.

Speaker 1 (39:34):
I'm not supposed to bring my Lysol wipes to wipe
down and sanitize. I'm trusting the airline in that wait.

Speaker 2 (39:43):
Frontier.

Speaker 1 (39:43):
When I see my plane load up and I have
to wait to get on board, I'm trusting that their
airline is. is doing a wipe down and not a spritz.

Speaker 2 (39:55):
Danny Bonajus over on the Facebook chat says it's maddening
to think they don't wipe those tray tables down between flights.
Someone else said, but many of them don't ever get wiped.
Those some of those planes, they'll go clean up the
garbage on the floor and stuff, but they don't put
down every tray table and wipe them off.

Speaker 1 (40:11):
And it's like I know like and speaking of Southwest,
Southwest is very good on efficiency. They know how to
fuel up, get your bags on, get the people off
the plane, get snacks loaded up. And they are a
efficiency machine. Take 10 more minutes, please. Yeah. And if
that's going to be the thing or don't be the
whistleblower in the middle of it.

Speaker 2 (40:33):
Yeah she you're the one well and she said too
she's like uh people think because they'll bring lysol wipes
and stuff that you can just wipe it off and
it's good to go i guess after you wipe something
with like lysol it has to be sitting still for
10 minutes without being touched before all the germs are
actually killed so no matter what you do uh by
the way if i'm on vacation i don't care i'll
put everything i'll wipe my hand on it put it

(40:54):
in my mouth i don't care i'll pour some vodka
on it i mean what are we doing.

Speaker 1 (40:59):
But To answer your question, I typically I'll get like
I saw somebody bring steak on a plane and I
was I was flabbergasted. Yeah. And I was like, I'm
never living like a plebeian ever again. So I'll go
and get like a to go or I'll load up
on snacks in my book bag and just be ready
to go.

Speaker 2 (41:18):
What is the one at O'Hare's at Friday's? Chili's Chili's
Chili's to go.

Speaker 1 (41:24):
Oh, I get airport Chili's. Wednesday.

Speaker 2 (41:26):
Listen to what this lunatic says, Maris, because you're going
on vacation this week.

Speaker 1 (41:29):
Yes, sir.

Speaker 2 (41:29):
She says if you have to eat on a plane,
she recommends putting a trash bag over the tray table
because it's the only way.

Speaker 1 (41:37):
So now I got to go through TSA with a
trash bag. Now they're asking me questions. Yeah, because I'm
going to be the guy like, oh, you need a
trash bag for your tray table?

Speaker 2 (41:45):
Yeah, just pass it on down. Okay, man.

Speaker 1 (41:47):
Thank you. Appreciate it, man. Like, no. I'm trusting that
the airlines are supposed to be cleaning these. And if
they're not, cool. You know what? I'm just going to
be it's better for my immune system.

Speaker 2 (41:59):
I'm tired of germs on this mother effing plane.

Speaker 1 (42:04):
We're going commercial free next on Rock 95. Now, here's
a bit only plug with Maris. plug it 844-955-9550 we're

Speaker 2 (43:51):
I've got my coffee. I had a nap. I'm on
Fun to the Head.

Speaker 1 (43:54):
I'm about to win Breaking Benjamin tickets. Well, we'll see.
It's all there. But thank you again for joining us

Speaker 1 (44:06):
And Chevelle. Start setting Kami Kehoe. Shows on Friday. Also,
you're qualified for backstage passes and a meet and greet
if you win today.

Speaker 2 (44:15):
So.

Speaker 1 (44:16):
You got to answer some trivia questions. If you get
any wrong, we get shot with Nerf darts. And if
you need a save, you're going to get to take
one of us hostage. And that's what you've got to
decide right now, Devin. Who do you want to take hostage,
Michael or myself?

Speaker 2 (44:32):
Yeah, we'll go Michael this time.

Speaker 1 (44:34):
Okay. All right.

Speaker 2 (44:36):
I got a save for you if you need it, buddy.

Speaker 1 (44:38):
Oh, boy. All right. Let's go. Question one. Who did
the Bears beat in Super Bowl XX?

Speaker 2 (44:46):
Oh, Michael, I'm going to need your help with that.
The New England Patriots.

Speaker 1 (44:56):
That is correct.

Speaker 2 (44:57):
One for one.

Speaker 1 (44:58):
All right. You don't have any help, Devin. You got
to answer the rest of these on your own now.

Speaker 2 (45:03):
Oh, all right.

Speaker 1 (45:06):
Who returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown in a
Super Bowl? Oh, my gosh. I want to say. LXI? XLI.
I'm biffing on my Roman numerals. I want to say that's. 41.
I could be wrong. It was against the Indianapolis Colts.

Speaker 2 (45:30):
One of the most famous returns ever. Guys got a
good name too.

Speaker 1 (45:34):
It wasn't Devin Hester, was it? Just an easy guess.
That was well done.

Speaker 2 (45:40):
Devin for Devin.

Speaker 1 (45:43):
There you go. One more and you got the tickets
for Breaking Benjamin. Where did the Bears play their games
before they played at Soldier Field? Oh, no. Five, four, three, two.

(46:08):
Take a guess.

Speaker 2 (46:11):
Wrigley Field?

Speaker 1 (46:12):
What the?

Speaker 2 (46:13):
Really?

Speaker 1 (46:14):
Got it. That's your guess. Nice guess, dude. You nailed it.
Was that a genuine guess or? I mean, I remember
they played in a baseball field.

Speaker 2 (46:28):
That was the only thing I remembered.

Speaker 1 (46:29):
Well done, my man.

Speaker 2 (46:30):
I was thinking in my head. I was like, just
start guessing venues around.

Speaker 1 (46:32):
I was going to say, yeah.

Speaker 2 (46:34):
Especially older ones.

Speaker 1 (46:35):
It wasn't the United Center. But, Devin, you're all. I
was going to go Hall State Arena next.

Speaker 2 (46:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (46:41):
That'd be crazy. Devin, you're going to see Breaking Benjamin
this Friday, my man. You're in the building at Credit
Union 1 Amphitheater. Chevelle, also on this show with Star
Satin Kami Kehoe. And best of all, you are now
qualified for a huge grand prize. backstage passes and you

(47:03):
get to meet the band.

Speaker 2 (47:05):
What a great win it's rare that those backstage passes
come across man.

Speaker 1 (47:09):
That's incredible this is amazing man i've met breaking benjamin
before benjamin absolutely amazing hopefully you get to see some
chevelle too but i know this is focused around breaking
benjamin uh devin who are you planning on taking with
you to this one I'm taking.

Speaker 2 (47:27):
My girlfriend, who is a huge Breaking Benjamin fan.

Speaker 1 (47:31):
I've really got my fingers crossed for these backstage passes. Yeah, yeah. Well,
good luck to you, my man. We'll be qualifying all
week and giving away more Breaking Benjamin tickets the rest
of this week. Congrats to you, Devin. What's up, Michael?

Speaker 2 (47:45):
X is 10, L is 50, and then 1.

Speaker 1 (47:51):
If the X is in front, that's minus 10, so
that'd be 41.

Speaker 2 (47:54):
You got it.

Speaker 1 (47:55):
Okay, wow.

Speaker 2 (47:56):
I was in Super Bowl 41.

Speaker 1 (47:58):
That hurt my brain. Okay, if you still need to
get tickets, don't miss this show. Go get your tickets
right now. All thanks to our friends from Live Nation.
And wouldn't you know, it's time to get nerdy. Nerd
News is next on Rock 95.5. Dork out. Oh, boy. Okay.

(48:23):
So we talked about this a little bit last week,
and I actually looked into what I have to do.
GTA 6 is going to be out in November, middle
of the month, right before my birthday. So I'll have
time to play it a little bit extra.

Speaker 2 (48:33):
But originally you were going to wait.

Speaker 1 (48:34):
I was out. I was going to wait. And then
it's just like, no, this is too big of a
video game moment for me.

Speaker 2 (48:41):
Why were you going to wait?

Speaker 1 (48:42):
I was just mad at Rockstar. They're delaying the game.
And then it felt like they are playing with us.
Give us a game and let us go. So here's
the thing. I'm also in the middle of a lot
of other games, and this is my goal, and I'm
setting it, and I'm telling you so that you guys
can help keep me honest and accountable. I have seven

(49:05):
games that I'm in the middle of right now, and
I just kind of stop, and I'll go and tinker.
I am going to beat four or five of these games.
Here's what's on the list. What soul silver i'm replaying
that on the game boy 3ds i'm almost done so

(49:25):
this is going to be the one that's going to
be the momentum starter then i have to beat expedition
33 this is a role-playing game um an rpg one
of the best. I want to say it won Game
of the Year last year. I just need to finish.
I'm towards the end. Up to like 400 hours now.

(49:46):
There's another game called Absalom. There's a Marvel side-scroller called
Marvel Cosmic Invasion. Just a lot of fun. I still
just need to beat it. You cannot get any more games.
I'm 70% of the way through that one. Last of
Us Part 2. And I think a lot of people
understand why I stopped playing it, but it is in

(50:08):
my queue. The second story just drags on. Last of
Us Part I, perfection. Great video game cinema. It was
absolutely amazing. And then to round out, and this is
where I'm probably going to get in trouble. donkey kong
bonanza bro it's so far.

Speaker 2 (50:23):
Oh yeah oh both of those i haven't beat either
of them either though that's a lot of hours that
i'm gonna have to really dedicate to this but thankfully
i have till the middle of november i think that's
not very long at all i think it's a month
and a half dude but it's also like are you
going on vacation for.

Speaker 1 (50:40):
A week I think I can beat a game while
I'm on vacation. I think if I focus and pick
one game to play on the flight there and the
flight back, I can beat one of the Switch games
while I'm on vacation. I'm going to try and beat... Well,
Pokemon Silver, SoulSilver is going to happen today or tomorrow.
And then I'm going to try and beat Marvel Cosmic

(51:03):
Invasion to keep the gears going. And then once I
get back home, I'll jump back on the PS5 and
see if I can get this done. Because I have...
I've already pre-ordered another game, and there's another game in
queue that's on its way.

Speaker 2 (51:17):
Jamie Thornton in the YouTube chat says, seven? What are
your other two? The pre-order and the end.

Speaker 1 (51:26):
Oh, Marvel token. I just haven't bought it because I
know I don't have time to. And then EAFC, the
soccer game. Oh, yeah, yeah. It comes out on the 18th. Oh, no.

Speaker 2 (51:36):
I want an NHL 27, too. No, that's the thing.
You're doing too much. You've got to finish eating before
you go back to the grocery store. Clean out your fridge, Maris.

Speaker 1 (51:47):
Thank you, Michael. And your closet. I'll see how this goes.
I will keep you updated on these antics. I got
a clear space so I can get to GTA and
actually enjoy it when it comes out.

Speaker 2 (51:58):
Text us. What game are you working on right now?
Mine would be Donkey Kong is what I'm in the
middle of. Donkey Kong Bonanza.

Speaker 1 (52:05):
844-955-9550. What game are you in the middle of or
what games are in your queue that you have not
finished just yet? Also, all this week, we are giving
away movie passes for Unshatter. That is the documentary about
Lincoln Park and their big return. And not only is
there going to be great music, I think this one's
going to be a little emotional from the band as well.

(52:27):
So be on the lookout for that all this week
with the Morning Mosh Pit. We are in the middle
of 95 minutes commercial free on Rock 95.5. We are
the Morning Mosh Pit. I'm Maris.

Speaker 2 (52:42):
It's Bro Week 2026. I'm Michael.

Speaker 1 (52:43):
Yes, it is. And Maria returns on Wednesday, but then
I'm leaving for a little vacay myself.

Speaker 2 (52:50):
On Wednesday, it'll be ADHD week. I don't know how
we're going to get anything.

Speaker 1 (52:54):
Done, but we're going to try. Do you like pumpkin
spice things and such?

Speaker 2 (53:00):
You know, I've been really repping Halloween and fall and stuff.

Speaker 1 (53:04):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (53:04):
No, I don't care for pumpkin spice stuff.

Speaker 1 (53:06):
Well, pumpkin spice craze has moved its way into caskets. What?
A casket company now has a pumpkin spice themed casket.
It's orange.

Speaker 2 (53:17):
Oh, it's just the color.

Speaker 1 (53:18):
It's the color. It's pumpkin spice casket is what they're
calling it.

Speaker 2 (53:23):
Is it orange or is it that kind of soft orange?

Speaker 1 (53:25):
It is that soft orange. Really? Okay. So it's very
interesting that a casket company is jumping in on the chaos.
The casket is also $ 1, 600. Jesus. I'm dead. Just cremate
me and throw me off a bridge. I've never known
how much a casket costs, but. This wasn't what I
had pictured in my head, especially for a pumpkin spice casket.

(53:48):
They said that they are doing this as a bold
new marketing plan to help people plan the end of
their lives. It's something that you don't want to think about,
but it's also something that you don't deal with until
it happens. So I raised the question. If you could
theme your casket off anything, anything, anything, Michael, how would

(54:09):
you theme your casket? Would it be painted a specific color?
What would you have on it? Is there a special
feature you would like your casket to have?

Speaker 2 (54:18):
Well, I've seen you can wrap these like cars now.

Speaker 1 (54:20):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (54:20):
That's kind of interesting. This is a little silly, but
it'd be cool to do a wrap, but make it
look like it's the ivy on the Wrigley Wall.

Speaker 1 (54:28):
Oh!

Speaker 2 (54:28):
Like around it. Or make it look like the wall
with the ivy. That'd be kind of a cool wrap
on it. I'd do something sports.

Speaker 1 (54:35):
I love sports. I would have a Ninja Turtle themed casket.

Speaker 2 (54:39):
That would be sick, actually.

Speaker 1 (54:40):
No surprise there. I would want it to look like
each of the four turtles was one of my pallbearers.

Speaker 2 (54:47):
And then....

Speaker 1 (54:49):
And then, you know how you have, like, the little
battery pack, and the batteries don't go until you pull
the tab? Yeah. I'd have a special tab that would,
as I got lowered into my final resting place, the
tab would pull, and there would be a Bluetooth speaker.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Teenage Mutant.

Speaker 2 (55:09):
You're just hearing it, and you're going to still hear
it for years.

Speaker 1 (55:13):
Yeah, and so, like. You know, it would be set
on a timer once a day. The song would play.
You might be able to hear it through the dirt
or whatnot. But it's just it's one of those things where, hey,
you know what? This is a very sad moment. But
I want people to laugh and smile when they think
about how stupid it is that I have been buried
in a Ninja Turtle themed castle.

Speaker 2 (55:32):
It's kind of cool, actually. Actually, I take it back.
I want mine wrapped so it looks like it's open
and I'm like giving a thumbs up. People are like,
what the hell?

Speaker 1 (55:43):
Before we get to text time, 844-955-9550. If you could
pick the themes for your casket, what would you want
your casket to look like? Or is there a special
feature that you'd like to see in your casket? 844-955-9550.
I can't wait to see what people text in on
this one. It's going to be wild. Wrap it and

(56:04):
make it look empty. That'd be crazy too, like it's
open and empty. Or there's just a bunch of webs
and spiders crawling around it in general. That'd be funny. Yeah,
so we're interested to hear from you as we continue
95 Minutes commercial free with Scorpions.

Speaker 2 (56:19):
Oh, it's text time. Rock 95.5 Chicago's Rock Station. We
start off text time by saying F the Packers all
the time. Enjoy that loss.

Speaker 1 (56:28):
Did you see Tote Truck Ken sent his infamous message
in this morning? I didn't. He definitely did. Okay, good. Yes,
I did.

Speaker 2 (56:35):
We had lots of texts today, maybe more texts than
we have ever had. We started out the show talking
about how Dolly Parton, Nashville has named their airport Dolly
Parton International Airport now, which is cool. We said if
you could rename O'Hare, what would you name it? I'm
going to run down the list. Tom Skilling International.

Speaker 1 (56:49):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (56:50):
Bozo the Clown International Airport. Yes. you can't just do
bozo either it's got to be bozo the clown international
airport i love that feels very idiocracy though but it.

Speaker 1 (57:00):
Fits chicago everybody knows bozo from chicago.

Speaker 2 (57:03):
Uh my personal favorite out of all of the ones
i i do like michael jordan international but harry carey
international airport just.

Speaker 1 (57:10):
Yeah i think that one was the one when we
heard it it was just like absolutely uh another one all.

Speaker 2 (57:16):
Of the voices in the airport Oh, my gosh. I mean,
you'd have to use AI at this point.

Speaker 1 (57:20):
And you get a Cubs and Sox museum out of
it as well.

Speaker 2 (57:24):
Welcome to Harry Carey International.

Speaker 1 (57:26):
That'd be cool. CM Punk International Airport also popped up,
along with George Hallis International. And, of course... can't forget
about sweetness walter payton tied in there too oh.

Speaker 2 (57:36):
This is my favorite from the 847 morning mosh pit
international airport let's get it you can get a you
get a museum for that too.

Speaker 1 (57:44):
Oh for sure um and then the uh other thing
that we talked about was concerts that surprised surprised you
uh 630 mine would be uh metallica uh well done
well done.

Speaker 2 (57:57):
I hear that's I hear just that's one of a kind.
I've never seen Metallica live, but I hear it's amazing.

Speaker 1 (58:02):
I had to see them at Lala three years ago.
Lala would be crazy. It was insane, and I was high.
I was high.

Speaker 2 (58:11):
Just vibing.

Speaker 1 (58:13):
We also got from 641, Morning Fam, the three concerts
that blew me away were Rammstein, ACDC, and Muse. Muse
is an interesting choice there.

Speaker 2 (58:24):
From the 847, this is a cool one. Audio Slave,
the Doesn't Remind Me Tour, where we got an acoustic
version of Black Hole Sun.

Speaker 1 (58:32):
Oh, absolutely.

Speaker 2 (58:33):
Yeah, I think I actually saw that tour. I think
I took pictures of Chris on that tour because he
was sitting at the very front of the stage. Everybody
else leaves, and he just does Black Hole Sun on
his guitar with that voice.

Speaker 1 (58:42):
Nice. We were talking about if you could design your
own casket, what would you do? Your best friend, Garbage
Man Dan, is checking in. I'd make my casket a
garbage truck and have the weather app installed so I
can listen to Michael's forecast. Damn it. Always giving me
a hard time.

Speaker 2 (59:02):
The weather here changes.

Speaker 1 (59:04):
Oh love you garbage man dan i like this one
uh from the 847 i would have i would have
a tapper plenty of drink holders a red solo cup
dispenser uh plus a flat top so you could play
beer pong that's cool actually 815 says i would like
a speaker in my casket so when people walk up
it plays my voice saying thanks for coming that's kind

(59:27):
of fun that's absolutely terrifying from.

Speaker 2 (59:29):
The 708 uh morning guys a casket idea just put
me in the dumpster where i belong better than a
dumpster my friend i still say don't ever spend money
if i die burn me in a burn pile.

Speaker 1 (59:41):
Well and toss me speaking of that our final text
uh from joe uh no casket I have in my
will that I want a Viking funeral to be put
on a floating funeral pyre at whatever lake I retire to,
and my son will shoot a flaming arrow to send
me to Valhalla. That is badass. That's badass.

Speaker 2 (01:00:02):
You know what else my buddy did? Well, my buddy's
dad did?

Speaker 1 (01:00:05):
What's that?

Speaker 2 (01:00:05):
Shot his remains into space. Yeah, he had like some
weird belief that they were going to like make humans
in space or something. And so there's a company in
Arizona that will shoot you into space.

Speaker 1 (01:00:15):
That is absolutely wild. Thanks for texting. Great Monday. And so,
you know, all week long and not just with the
morning mosh pit, you will have an opportunity to not
only win tickets to see Breaking Benjamin, but also win
backstage passes and a meet and greet. So listen for
your chance to win all week long. Victory Monday is

(01:00:39):
what we are all enjoying here at Rock 95. Five
bears put belt to ass on the Panthers, and we're
all still happy to see it. Defense for who? Yeah.
Don't need it. Well, yeah, we do. Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (01:00:52):
Let's be careful. I don't want to play a game
like that again.

Speaker 1 (01:00:56):
I am actually winning one of my fantasy leagues.

Speaker 2 (01:00:59):
Nice job.

Speaker 1 (01:01:00):
You remember the champ that you have spoken of? He
was losing to me.

Speaker 2 (01:01:03):
There's someone in the building who won Maris' fantasy team
last year. He requires everyone in the building to call
him the champ, and you beat him.

Speaker 1 (01:01:11):
I have beaten the champ. Wow. The champ has no
more status around me as far as I'm concerned, but
I am losing my other two fantasy leagues. But I'm
fine with that because I need to hit the waiver
wires real bad.

Speaker 2 (01:01:22):
Next time you beat the champ, we should bring him
in and let you guys chat about it a little
bit because he's funny.

Speaker 1 (01:01:28):
He's a funny dude. I'm actually going to go check
in with him very soon. We are done with Monday. Yeah.
Our Monday is wrapped up. And again, as always, we
thank you for being with us today. It's always a
pleasure when we get to hang out. One more day
of Bro Week 2026.

Speaker 2 (01:01:46):
Hawkskull says, guess he's the chump now. Oh! You don't
even understand how this would set him off if he
heard that.

Speaker 1 (01:01:53):
He would not like that at all. One more day
of Bro Week 2026. It's been, Marison, what a fun week.
It has been fun.

Speaker 2 (01:02:01):
It's fun.

Speaker 1 (01:02:01):
When you and Maria get to ADHD it up.

Speaker 2 (01:02:05):
We're going to see if we can keep that plane
in the air. You'll see it doing backflips, that's for sure.

Speaker 1 (01:02:08):
Oh, absolutely. But 95 minutes commercial free will be continuing,
especially as we leave you with Queen. We'll see you tomorrow.
More giveaways, more breaking. Benjamin to give away along with
that meet and greet and backstage access that you're getting
qualified for. And, of course, we got T-Box, baby.

Speaker 2 (01:02:26):
Let's go.

Speaker 1 (01:02:27):
But we'll see you tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (01:02:28):
F the Packers all the time.

Speaker 1 (01:02:28):
Yes, baby.
