Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh, thank God.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
I can finally breathe.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
I almost cursed.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
What's wrong with you?

Speaker 2 (00:07):
I'm back at work.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
Oh, my goodness.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Two days away is far too long. The shareholders need us. Okay.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Are we good, Michael?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
We're great.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
It's a Monday.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Maria, did you want to finish? Are you good?

Speaker 2 (00:23):
I would love to finish. I would love to.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
But first, I'd have to get started. It's the Morning
Mosh Pit on Rock 95.5. My name's Maria Palmer.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
I'm Maris.

Speaker 4 (00:30):
I'm Michael.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Hey, Mikey.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Can you tell us about the weather?

Speaker 3 (00:33):
I can.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Yay.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Michael says don't go outside or look out your window.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
It'll ruin the surprise. Here's weather.

Speaker 5 (00:41):
I wish I had good news for you, but I don't.
It's raining out there in certain places right now. Some
thunderstorms going on. It's going to be mostly cloudy today.
Clouds are going to be off and on. They're going
to decrease a little bit. Then they're going to come
back this afternoon. But the big story is hot and humid.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (00:58):
High of like this is 90 here now. So it's
moving up as we speak because it was like 82
a few minutes ago when I did the weather and
recorded it for the whole day, which is great. Now
it says 90 some rain throughout the day. Partly cloudy
and almost 100% humidity today.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Oh, sticky. Sticky. It's going to be wet out there.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Let's go.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Dry in here.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Positive news for you metalheads.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Yeah? There's going to be some help resisting pain for you. Sorry.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Like Percocet?

Speaker 4 (01:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Metal? It's a story. I got you. Yeah, you explain it.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Listening to metal increases your pain tolerance.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
There it is.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
We'll discuss coming up.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
That song makes me feel invincible. Turns out there's some
science behind that.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
Study says listening to live metal increases resistance to pain.

Speaker 6 (01:53):
Ooh.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
I know.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Oh, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Germany's Whackin' Open Air.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Great name. Love it.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
That's cool. Sounds like me over the weekend.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
That's how he was spraying.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Oh, that's a festival.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
You're going to do that right in open air?

Speaker 3 (02:09):
That actually makes more sense. Wacken Open Air Festival.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Yeah. All right.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Anyway, Germany's Wacken Open Air Festival is arguably the biggest
heavy metal festival on the planet. It was also the
perfect opportunity for some scientific research. Neuroscientists with the Max
Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences selected 122
confirmed metalheads and tested their ability to endure pain. Those

(02:34):
test subjects were broken up into two groups and asked
to submerge their non-dominant hand and forearm into cold water
for as long as they could take it. The results
of the test indicated that enjoying a few days of
live metal may help boost one's tolerance for pain as
festival goers were able to endure the cold-induced pain for
longer than the control group.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
I would like to enter this chat as a person
who enjoys cold.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:58):
I think there's some outliers. Like, I would have been
fine in that tank.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Mikey, thoughts?

Speaker 3 (03:03):
That's interesting. I don't know. I don't know, man.

Speaker 5 (03:07):
I was reading just the other day and this is
the Internet, right? That metal is actually hard on you
and it makes you process things differently. And it's it's
not good for you to listen to metal all the time.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
But I've always heard I've always heard that.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Metal fans are most emotionally regulated because they use that
moment at a live event or while you're listening to
it to get that aggression or, you know, whatever out.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
It's that old saying, which came first, the music or
the misery, I would say.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Is it that metal helps or is it that if
you are the kind of person that listens to metal,
you have been through specific experiences in life that maybe
those have calloused you.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
You need to scream.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Metal has, right?

Speaker 2 (03:48):
So, chicken, egg kind of deal.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
I like eggs. No, I don't. I like chicken. There
we go.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Maybe you like both.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
I don't.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
We can test this, you know, if we really wanted to.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Yeah, we could get chicken and eggs.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
We need some ice.

Speaker 5 (04:01):
Or ice and some metal and some headphones. See who
could last the longest. But see, here's the thing. You're
tougher than me, Maris, so you'd last longer no matter what.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
And Maria hates the cold, so this is a moot experiment.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Yeah, I'm not real scientific, I guess. Good job out
there at whacking.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Whacking Open Air Festival.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
We are the Morning Mosh Pit on Rock 95.5 and
we all survived a pretty, I'll say, eventful weekend. We
all got outside. I did leave the house. I went
over to Bottom Lounge and watched Fluorescence. It was an
amazing time. It was just funny because my friend Emily,
who you've met, who's smaller than you, she just had
a moment and she just ran away.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
She handed me her purse and her drink and just
ran away and jumped into the pit.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
I like her.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
And then she overshot And because the pit was behind her.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
So she's just I see her bopping around looking for
people to like tussle with.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
And nobody that was up front was moving around.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
And I was like, it's just it's five feet away.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
It's five feet away.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Not quite there.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Armpit level.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
We can't see.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
No, it's like it's yeah, that part.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
No, it was always amazing to get out and go see,
you know, local bands. Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
We went out and saw 10, a Pearl Jam cover band.
And it's pretty incredible standing there watching everybody in that
building who absolutely is there in love with Pearl Jam
and singing every word.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
They're holding their arms out in front of them like
they're at church.

Speaker 4 (05:26):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (05:26):
The band on stage talking about it. Huge Pearl Jam fans.
And they could play all their instruments beautifully. I had
to keep looking over the edge to check the guitar
player because we were up in the suite. So I
couldn't see the guitar player.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
And every time I'd peek over the edge, I had
to make sure he was playing because he's playing the
notes perfectly that Mike McCready plays. I mean, it was
it was incredible.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
And that is the correct healthy response to the show
that we went to.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
What did you do?

Speaker 2 (05:50):
I didn't do anything at all. And I want to
preface what I'm about to say.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Oh, wow.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
By saying that I like Pearl Jam a lot. I
have a lot of respect for Pearl Jam.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
I have a lot of respect for musicians that can
play Pearl Jam, especially as well as that band did.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
And like Mikey said.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Can you hear?

Speaker 1 (06:07):
I have a clip. You do have a clip.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Will you play a little bit?

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Play a little bit.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
I got you.

Speaker 5 (06:11):
This is what they sounded like Saturday night.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Hold on.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
If you didn't tell me that was a Pearl Jam,
and I've listened to hundreds, thousands of hours of Pearl Jam,
I would think it was Pearl Jam.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Note for note, it sounds pretty good.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Yeah, it's good.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Okay, so you were leading up to some long, shenanigans
way of something. What is it?

Speaker 2 (06:34):
About myself?

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Maria.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
So Mikey has said before that he can't do musicals
because he doesn't like how cheesy it feels.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Like someone's like singing at you. The smiling's fake. Yada, yada, yada.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
I think that the ick that Mikey got from musicals
is the same ick that I get from cover bands.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
I can't do it.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
I can't do it. That's not any better. That is
a grown man on stage acting like any better. Very well,
mind you. And I do not want to deduct anything
from his skill level.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
That's not any better.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
You've been in this business for 10 years.

Speaker 5 (07:08):
Damn, the chat is going nuts. They said it sounds
exactly like Pearl Jam.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
They sound so good. So, like, what's the ick part
of it? Like, I don't, like, is it just you?

Speaker 2 (07:19):
It's just that we're at a music venue, like a really, like,
dope one, like House of Blues.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
And it's not the real band playing.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
There's just something about it that for me, the ick
that people must get from my theater stuff and like
LARPing and D & D and things like that, I
think I get that from cover bands.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
I got to call you out because we did, what
was the... Can you feel the love tonight? The emo, punk,
Disney night. Yeah, that was really fun, actually. That was
nothing but cover bands. Because they played all Disney songs.

Speaker 6 (07:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
I would argue I had a similar ick, but it
was different just because... You're not supposed to be there being.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Like, well, this is the most well-done thing.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
If I remember right, Maris was twirling you above his
head while the lion thing was playing.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Well, you kind of go into that one tongue-in-cheek. I
don't know if you go into this one tongue-in-cheek.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
I mean, you know what.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
So for me, and correct me if I'm wrong, 844-955-9550.
When you go to see a cover band, you know
what it is.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
It's a $ 20 version of your favorite band.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
And for 20 bucks, they sounded phenomenal.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Like I was expecting you to come back. Oh, they
were terrible.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
No, no, no.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
They were great.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
No, they're really good.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
And I think that that is a very, very decent
night out for a lot of people.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
And it's just not my thing.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
I will say. I'm not spending $ 20 on a Lincoln
Park cover band. I can't do that. I have them
at such a high regard. I'm never going to come
down from that. But pretty much every other band that's
out there, I can go see and enjoy as a
cover band.

Speaker 4 (08:55):
And I think that's fine. But you know where I
want a cover band? Is that like a corporate event,
like the boat ride that we were on. That's where
I want to go see a cover band. But if
I'm going to go out to a music venue, if
I'm going to buy a ticket and go to a
music video.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
Did you buy it?

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Or a music video venue. Well, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (09:12):
If I'm going to acquire a ticket, go to a
music venue that I want to see that band again.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
I get it. It's just not for me. And I
thought it was kind of funny.

Speaker 5 (09:21):
So no Rock of Ages, no Mamma Mia, no musicals.
The chat is going crazy right now.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
844-955-9550. Weigh in. We want to hear how do you
feel about cover bands in general? Do they give you
the ick? Do you love going to see them? Are
you in between? Do you have parameters and standards? Let
us know how you feel about it.

Speaker 4 (09:41):
844-955-9550.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
I hate everything about you.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Why do I love you?

Speaker 1 (09:47):
I just said that to you a second ago.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Hey, so why do you love me?

Speaker 4 (09:54):
It's Morning Mosh, Pit on Rock 95.5.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Boys, what are we doing?

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Sports!

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Let's talk about the best team in baseball, shall we?

Speaker 5 (10:02):
The White Sox were on the road at Target Field
against the Twins.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
Took two out of three over the weekend.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (10:10):
White Sox sit at first place in the AL Central,
three and a half games ahead of Cleveland.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
First place White Sox, huh?

Speaker 4 (10:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
That's cool.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
I like the way you say that, Michael.

Speaker 7 (10:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
Sounds great when you say it.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
Well, it's fine.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
I'm so irritated with the Cubs right now. I want
to vomit. Honestly, what a great team to blow a
great season.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
It is so.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
I'm so irritated. This season's not done. It's close.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
But let's... You are so doom and gloom right now.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
No, no, no, no, no, no, no. We all can
see the writing on the wall. They played a last
place team and lost two out of the three games.
Two of them got whooped pretty good. PCA is a
bright spot and does look like he's probably going to
get the MVP, which is kind of cool.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
I'm irritated. I'm not going to deal with you being
irritated and you guys still have a solid wild card
spot right now. It's fine.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
I mean, that's fine and all. But again, we'll see
how this week goes, won't we?

Speaker 5 (10:58):
Brewers in town for a four-game set.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
Should be interesting. Starting off tonight out at Wrigley 640
first pitch. I am a little bitter.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
I am.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
I was very upset about the Reds series.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
You know, it was subtle, but I was picking up
on it.

Speaker 3 (11:14):
Let me put it to you this way. This is
how I feel right now.

Speaker 5 (11:15):
29 days until the Blackhawks regular season opener. 13 days
until the Bears first season opener. And 51 days until
the Bulls take a tip off.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Speaking of Le.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
Bears, the 53-man roster has been put together. And if
you act like you're upset about the players that were cut.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
We don't know. You got to tell me something.

Speaker 4 (11:34):
I agree.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
I haven't seen one name I have heard in my life.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
I was like, they'll probably get picked up on the
practice squad. So you'll be okay. And your favorite non
53 or we'll be here.

Speaker 6 (11:44):
And other news, Aaron Donald's coming out of retirement.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
That's so bad for everybody else.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
He chooses to play for the LA Rams. And you
can see the writing on the wall when they traded
for miles Garrett, that front four is dangerous. What was it?

Speaker 3 (11:59):
$ 20 million one year.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Oh, my God. So the Rams are all in for
a good Super Bowl push. And over the weekend, I
got a shout out the high school football team over
at Mount Carmel. They were playing on ESPN, playing New
Jersey's top team, St. Joseph Regional. And they came back

(12:22):
to win after being down on a 30 point deficit.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
So great on them. That's incredible.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
And then also, I want to bring up Sandberg. Beating
Montini Catholic. Montini, one of the top teams last year.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
It was close battle. 35-28. And this has been satiating.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Thank you for helping me get to college football that
kicks off this weekend.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
And then next Wednesday, the NFL is back, baby.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
Hey, check this out. So you were talking about... Players
going on the practice squad?

Speaker 1 (12:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (12:52):
They make $ 13, 750 a week on the practice squad.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
I could do that.

Speaker 4 (12:58):
$ 247, 000 a year.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
I could do that. Damn.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
Just to kick it and play ball with the boys? Well,
you got to do scout team and you got to
help the.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Other players get ready for that upcoming game. You know what?
I'm in.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
Let's go.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Maria?

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Yeah, you guys did a really good job on the report.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
If we got pads for you, football pads.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
OK, thank you for clarifying.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
Would you would you team up to tackle us? That'd
be fun.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
Save the pads, baby. You're going down.

Speaker 5 (13:31):
Oh, 40,000 pounds of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer went missing.
That's twenty five thousand dollars stolen as the company offers
a reward for the missing beer.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
When did this happen? Let's see here.

Speaker 5 (13:43):
End of last week, an entire truck full of PBR
has went missing.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
Maria, would you like to tell us where you were
at the end of last week?

Speaker 2 (13:52):
I drink old style, thank you very much.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
Basically the same garbage beer.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Wow. Cheap, thin, you know.

Speaker 5 (14:00):
I like them cheap and thin. PBR has put out
a statement. They said, to the thief, we don't fault
you for wanting to brag to your friends how much
PBR you have. We just wish you had obtained it
in an honorable way. paps is officially launched starting o'clock
now you have exactly 18 days and 44 minutes to
return our truckload of beer no questions asked leading up
to that time we will be offering a reward to

(14:20):
anyone who can help us solve this mystery you know
what this sounds like to me marketing damn straight yeah
they know right that truck is.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
In their warehouse is where it is it's lost in
the warehouse my my first question is is the driver
okay I didn't even think about that the driver would
be gone, so it would be a kidnapping.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
Yeah, because you would have to physically harm somebody to
take a beer truck. If we've all seen the beer
truck drivers, they're no chumps.

Speaker 4 (14:47):
My thought process was more, in the year of our
flock camera overlords, 2026, we've misplaced an entire beer truck.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
The truck was vacant. There was nobody in it when
it got stolen. So there wasn't a driver. Which is fine,
but it's also... You just left the door unlocked with
the keys in the car? The warehouse.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Were you trying to lose your job?

Speaker 4 (15:09):
18 days sounds like a specific time frame.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
What's that date?

Speaker 3 (15:12):
It's like they're going to announce something at the.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
End of it.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
Yeah, what's going on with that? Weird countdown to have
publicly announced.

Speaker 5 (15:18):
And they're also, like, following it on social media, obviously.
Beer is getting warmer. Trail is getting colder. Clock's still ticking.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
They say. Oh, this is fake.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
This is not real.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
Okay, cool.

Speaker 5 (15:27):
Company spokesperson said in a statement to ABC that PBR is, quote,
working with the local authorities to try to recover the
stolen truck and are grateful for all the hard work.
That statement makes me think maybe it is real.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
And they're just playing along with... And where was the
stealing happening?

Speaker 1 (15:39):
Was this Florida?

Speaker 3 (15:40):
I don't know where it was stolen. Let me see.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
Or maybe they just gave the cops, like, some beer.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
California.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
And they're like, this is us working with them.

Speaker 4 (15:46):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
They say it was stolen straight from a distribution center.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Huh?

Speaker 2 (15:49):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (15:50):
Like they had it outside filling it up probably and
they shut the back doors and somebody hopped in and
drove it off.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
Okay, that makes negative sense.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Have you been to a distribution center before?

Speaker 3 (15:58):
Have you?

Speaker 1 (15:59):
I have.

Speaker 5 (16:00):
I work for a liquor store and one thing they
do do a lot, and I even did when I
would pick stuff up, is leave the keys in the car.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
How much... Is this truck costing? Because here's my thing.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
Is it 20,000?

Speaker 3 (16:12):
The beer is worth 25,000.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
40,000 pounds of beer worth 25 grand.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
All right. That's a good chunk of change.

Speaker 4 (16:20):
I guess.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
That's a lot of paps.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
Are we using our local resources for that?

Speaker 1 (16:24):
Right.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
I agree with Maria.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
We can find, you know, the pubic hair on a,
you know, the hairiest man on earth with these flock cameras,
but we can't find a giant truck.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
Yeah. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
I'm not buying any of it.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
We'll see how it turns out.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
I was going to say, we'll find out in 18
days and see how this goes.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
If you see the truck, call us because we'll all
get in on the reward. Right.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
I want the truck.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
Or we'll drink it.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
There are some of us that are very lucky in love.
That must be really nice for you.

Speaker 4 (16:56):
And we're not focused on that on the Morning Mosh,
but on Rock 95.5, I got women sharing the one
line that made them end their relationship.

Speaker 3 (17:03):
Oh, this is exciting.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
Yeah, buddy. And then we're starting off rough.

Speaker 4 (17:07):
When he asked my OB at the 12-week appointment, when
will she have more energy so she can keep up
with chores better?

Speaker 2 (17:15):
The doctor turned beet red and said, about 18 to
25 years.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
Yeah, that's accurate. Yeah. Crazy.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
Also, what, bro?

Speaker 1 (17:23):
Yeah, what are you doing?

Speaker 2 (17:25):
Do you not have two hands? My God.

Speaker 4 (17:27):
A group of attractive women walks into a bar. My husband,
to the whole table. Growing up, I really thought I
was going to marry someone who.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
Looked like that. Looks at me, shrugs. Guess I was wrong.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
I mean, just say you want a divorce.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
I think that some dudes actually legit don't think that
they can get divorced. Like, I think they're like, no,
she's here. So she's staying.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
Well, you didn't do, you got to give up half
your stuff. It doesn't seem that easy to get divorced.
It's not a good deal for the guys, that's for sure.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
No, it doesn't favor well.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
I think that's a reason a lot of men aren't
getting married anymore.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
I also think people are staying in it for other benefits. Kids, too,
is tough.

Speaker 5 (18:08):
I'd imagine if you have a kid, that would hold
a lot of it together because you want to be there.
Like Blink, we just played them. Stay together for the kids.
They have a whole song.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
Also, your own attachment issues, your own perspective on life,
whether you're coming at it from a scarcity mindset or not.
I think if you think you can get another partner
or not, guilt goes into it.

Speaker 6 (18:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (18:27):
There's like so many different things that your upbringing X, Y, Z. Uh,
there is a free pumpkin patch. I asked my ex
if we could go on the last day.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
It was open. It was free. Only 10 minutes away.
And we had, we had no other plans. He said, no.

Speaker 4 (18:42):
When I asked why not, he said, I feel like
you get your way too much and I can't let
you think you get everything you want.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
So we just got holding that one in, huh?

Speaker 4 (18:52):
Yikes. Well, Bumped into his ex on the train. When
she walked away, he turned to me and said, oh no,
she saw us together. She's going to know I downgraded.
Jaw on the floor. He couldn't understand why I was
so upset.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
Jesus Christ. Foot in mouth. Seriously, man.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
Can you cry quieter? I'm trying to sleep.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
I feel like these are all coming from just broken
relationships as it was and this was like all right
we're done right and not just oh oh he's an
absolute idiot as a surprise you'd be.

Speaker 5 (19:31):
Surprised no way we are us guys we are complete
morons just salute.

Speaker 4 (19:37):
You me or your studies he made me choose between
my bachelor's degree and him so yeah now i'm in
my fourth year and i'll graduate.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
This year well done yeah way to figure it out.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
And then finally i said on a road trip i
would like to go back to school and be a nurse.
He said, you aren't smart enough to be a nurse.
Just celebrated 20 years as a nurse last June.

Speaker 1 (19:58):
Terrible, but also a great motivation.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
Yeah, I was going to say that. I love it
when somebody tells me I can't do something.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
Oh, spite.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
Please tell me I can't do something. That's what overrides
my ADHD.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
Just spite.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
Or tell me I'm not supposed to do something. Not
even that I can't. Just I'm not allowed.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
Oh, okay. I got to get that look in on
GTA 6 that was on Netflix. You looked finally? I
did look, so I have some reviews.

Speaker 4 (20:25):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
We'll get into it in Nerd News next.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
Nerd alert.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
It's time to dork out. Dork.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
All right. Finally looked. I have been giving Rockstar a
very difficult time, but I did watch their 27 minute
Netflix showcase, whatever you want to call it. Good job, Rockstar.

Speaker 3 (20:47):
It looks incredible.

Speaker 1 (20:49):
Amazing job, Rockstar. It is in a beautiful open world
that they have built with two dynamic characters. And I
really like how they have made the game new with
the same concept. No longer is it, let me get
17 stars and run from the police all day. There's

(21:10):
not full espionage. You're still robbing people. You're still committing crimes,
but they want you to be stealthy about it. They
don't want you to be so blazing. Yeah. You're not
just walking up to somebody's car, ripping them out of
the car and keeping it moving. I'm sorry.

Speaker 4 (21:27):
I thought this was grand theft auto. Now it sounded
like mediocre theft auto.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
It still is.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
But, you know, within the game, they're kind of giving
you cues on how the gameplay is going to work. Obviously,
you're going to be put in some situations where you're
running away from the cops. Get away from the cops,
but you got to hide from them, man. You change
your clothes, change your appearance. One of the big things
about getting away from the cops, they said that on
foot will get your star rating down a lot quicker

(21:54):
than trying to outrun the cops in the game. One
of the other things they did, traffic is an actual
thing within the game. There's just not all this open
road for you to take advantage and drive away from
the cops. So you really have to be strategic about
how you do stuff anymore.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
So I do like traffic.

Speaker 1 (22:11):
That they've added this air to the game where you
have to think about what you're doing. You just can't
explode everything.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
It's kind of fun.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
Easy.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
There is a female protagonist for the first time in this. Yes, Lucia.
And this whole story has been built as like a
Bonnie and Clyde situation.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
It's beautiful.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
Which maybe makes two-player fun.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
Yeah, so you did mention that. I didn't see any
additional information on the two-player aspect, but I could see...
that being very fun within the game because you can
switch between players within the game even when you're skydiving
they said one of the other things that they didn't
mention was you can get to a easier cool down
point if you separate from your partner in the.

Speaker 3 (22:50):
Game wait so you cool down when you're not.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
Next to your partner yes so it's like you need
a little space when you split up it makes it
more difficult for the cops to find both of you
But there are specific missions that were specifically in the
showcase where you're doing two different things.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
Yeah, that's cool.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
You can bounce back and forth between the two of you.
But yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
And you said it last week. The game's beautiful.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
It's gorgeous.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
It is.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
They really did put in a lot of work.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
All the years in between GTA five worth.

Speaker 7 (23:20):
No.

Speaker 4 (23:22):
No.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
You know what I just read online?

Speaker 1 (23:23):
What's that?

Speaker 5 (23:24):
Carjacking now has a Slim Jim minigame instead.

Speaker 3 (23:26):
Of tapping the button to get in the car. So
you got to actually undo the Slim Jim.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
Yeah, I love all the new mechanics. I love how
all this is coming together. I'm still not buying it
when it comes out.

Speaker 5 (23:37):
You can pet and scold dogs. You can also steal
a bag of dog poop to throw at someone.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
That was one of the other stealth things. Shut up.
The police dogs can throw you off if they catch
your scent. If you haven't changed clothes in a while.
This is just next level, right?

Speaker 3 (23:57):
I mean, we're next level.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
Listen to this.

Speaker 5 (23:58):
Food and workouts change how Jason and Lucia look. If
you eat fast food and drink visible sodas and stuff,
it adds weight. When you hit the gym, it tones
their muscles and they can perform better. That's some detail, man.

Speaker 1 (24:13):
It's a lot of dynamic thought that went into this game,
and I appreciate it. It's just.

Speaker 5 (24:18):
They also said they didn't use any AI. Over 600,000
NPC animations went into this thing.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Let's go. It's really good, because even the NPCs in
the storyline, I was just like, these are good. These
are well-drawn characters.

Speaker 3 (24:30):
50 real street artists were hired to paint all the
murals throughout the game. Oh, okay, so that is awesome. Yeah,
so actually artists have painted all of those. I got goosebumps, dude.
I'm not even that big of a gamer, but this
sounds incredible. Scuba diving, kayaking, monster truck racing.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
Really good. They never would have made a purpose.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
Okay, Maria.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
If they had hired me.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
As a voice.

Speaker 5 (24:53):
Goodwill has given us a list of five things they
would like you to stop donating.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
I've been hunting for some good stuff there. I've been
Goodwill hunting.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
I like that.

Speaker 5 (25:03):
First on the list, porn. They do not want people
donating porn.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
Why?

Speaker 5 (25:07):
That's a thing. It probably is. I'd imagine the employees
that are working there got to pick it up, look
at it. That too.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
The pages are stuck together. Various things.

Speaker 2 (25:17):
People have needs.

Speaker 4 (25:18):
It's like saying don't donate vitamins, you know?

Speaker 1 (25:23):
Another one.

Speaker 3 (25:23):
Underwear with holes in them.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
Oh, my God. Let's start with underwear.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
Intentional or unintentional holes?

Speaker 3 (25:29):
I don't know. Like a butt flap is an intentional, right? Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
But that is underwear with holes in it.

Speaker 3 (25:35):
That's true.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
The thought of donating underwear in general. That is weird,
isn't it?

Speaker 2 (25:40):
For the sake of clarity, we'll go with unintentional holes.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
The skids aren't that prominent.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
A little scrubbing action.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
Ain't enough Clorox in the world.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
It's called a spot clean.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
They get enough of this that it landed on the list. Teeth.

Speaker 5 (25:56):
They would like people to stop donating real and false teeth.
Are people just putting all the things they have in
a garbage and dropping it off?

Speaker 4 (26:04):
It sounds like cryptocurrency for the tooth fairy.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
That's funny. You think about them dropping teeth off, and
I worry about what is going on in people's houses.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
Dentures.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
Here's some other ones. Sorry, burnt spoons.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
You got to get rid of evidence.

Speaker 3 (26:22):
No tax deduction for tweaking.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
But you are showing that it is heat resistant.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
True, yeah. They just tested it out.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
I don't need proof of how a spoon works.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
This is another one that's crazy to me. I find
this crazy. But then again, I like painkillers. Unused painkillers.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
They're unused.

Speaker 5 (26:41):
OK, you got to get a second. Donate them. Maybe
somebody needs somebody's in pain out there.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
Is there when you when you donate to Goodwill, do
you have to prewash or can you just drop off
whatever you got?

Speaker 5 (26:52):
I've donated some stuff. You just literally pull up in
a line, I think, and you drop some boxes and
you drive away. I think they clean everything themselves anyway.

Speaker 4 (27:00):
Sometimes.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
Yeah. I hope so. For the sake of goodwill, y'all
got to put some rules and parameters in place.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
This is them doing that.

Speaker 3 (27:07):
Well, now, we're a little late.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
How old is goodwill?

Speaker 3 (27:10):
They said they get a lot of broken toys, too.

Speaker 1 (27:12):
I can see that.

Speaker 5 (27:13):
And family photos on this list as well. Says here,
if your kids are too ugly for your wall, we
don't want them on ours.

Speaker 4 (27:20):
Oh, but it's fine for Walmart to put their little
model families in all the picture frames. But when it's
my ugly ass kids, then we have a problem.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
I appreciate that there was like a shift in the
2000s where they stopped putting all white families in the
frame so that I could feel. included when i bought
frames and i didn't want to just put a picture
in it right away it's like yeah that's my cousin
i actually just.

Speaker 3 (27:42):
Have all my frames have the original picture left in.

Speaker 4 (27:49):
Hey it was just cheaper to get black and white
photos it's just that easy i was walking around la
where all the models are and i met.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
Like all your family.

Speaker 3 (28:06):
Maria, can you bring the room down with Bad News Bears?

Speaker 2 (28:09):
I sure can bring it up.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
Oh, boy.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
Those news headlines can get you down. I tried to
kind of do it to the drum, but it didn't
really work out.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
No, it didn't.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Those news headlines.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
There it is.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
And my terrible rhythm. Sure can get you down.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
Luckily.

Speaker 4 (28:26):
We're here to put a positive spin on your headlines
so you can be both informed and not wildly depressed,
theoretically speaking.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
This is Biat News Beer.

Speaker 4 (28:38):
One death and about 15 people may be missing as
flash flood tears through the Grand Canyon.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
I heard about this.

Speaker 3 (28:46):
This is flooding everywhere.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
I know.

Speaker 6 (28:49):
Great.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
It's like copycat floods. Baby goats with rabies.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
See you, Nepal.

Speaker 4 (28:56):
Baby goats with rabies at North Carolina Mobile Petting Zoo
prompt calls across counties to contact health officials.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
Rapid baby goats. The kids aren't all right.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
Put them out to pasture. It's not that hard.

Speaker 4 (29:12):
His daughter's body was found in the Texas killing fields
decades ago.

Speaker 2 (29:17):
Now he'll face a man charged in her death.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
There's a place called Killing Fields in Texas.

Speaker 4 (29:23):
That was my thought process, too. I wish it was
the Texas Living Fields.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
Yeah, same.

Speaker 4 (29:29):
Her brother was killed in a botched hit in San
Jose a decade later. She got a text from their mother. Unrelated,
yet equally horrific. Moms are terrible at texting. This.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
was Bien Nuis Viers.

Speaker 1 (29:41):
Oh my God. What? It is amazing. Monday.

Speaker 4 (29:45):
Yes, it is.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
That's also bad news.

Speaker 3 (29:47):
Where are we going here? I don't know.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
I'm stuck.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
Well, some of us are going to work. We are
at work on the Morning Monster. We're at Rock 95.5.
We want to make your work better.

Speaker 3 (29:58):
Do you feel like you made it better?

Speaker 1 (30:00):
Yeah. Okay.

Speaker 3 (30:01):
Well, Pit Happens is on the way soon.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
It is?

Speaker 3 (30:03):
Top of the next hour there.

Speaker 1 (30:04):
We got Black Label Society tickets on the way in.
Who's pit master today?

Speaker 2 (30:08):
Oh, it's me.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
Oh, damn it. Damn it.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
And I would argue that that's good news, Pierre.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
No, it is.

Speaker 2 (30:14):
It's good.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
Thanks for joining us on the Morning Mosh Pit on
Rock 95.5. Wish you were here.

Speaker 3 (30:19):
It's Pink Floyd. They are here.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
Things you almost certainly need to know. It's a hell
of a community service. I'll tell you that much. Things.
Thieves are getting more brazen. A gang steals 300 pounds
of frozen chicken from a moving truck. Nice. saw the video.
The video shows their pickup driving close behind the refrigerator

(30:44):
truck while a gang member climbs onto the hood and
open the truck's rear doors and began tossing crates of
chicken into the vehicle behind them. The driver of the
chicken truck had no clue what was going on. It
was just a bull ass.

Speaker 3 (30:59):
In my opinion, there's no. Have you seen this video, Maria?

Speaker 4 (31:02):
No.

Speaker 3 (31:02):
The truck is touching the back of this delivery truck
driving down the highway. They're doing like 50 miles an hour.

Speaker 1 (31:08):
Yeah. Full speed, basically.

Speaker 3 (31:09):
And there's a guy on the hood pulling stuff out
of the back of the other truck and throwing it
into this one. If I'm driving that truck, there is
no way I don't know someone has opened the back
of the truck up.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
It was wild.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
Maybe he knew he was just playing chicken.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
No, no, no. Tennessee governor plans to move forward with
naming the Nashville airport after Dolly Parton. I love the
approximate or they're saying it could cost about 10 million dollars.
Some people are saying it is a beautiful idea. Others
say that Dolly would appreciate that money going back to
the Tennessee community. I think both can be true at

(31:47):
the same time.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
Why would it cost $ 10 million to change a name?

Speaker 3 (31:50):
Imagine how much signage.

Speaker 1 (31:52):
Like the signage.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
What, $ 10 million worth? It's a whole airport.

Speaker 3 (31:55):
It's probably stupid, yeah.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
They got to redesign a whole bunch of stuff. There's
graphics and stuff. Nepal and Tibet are still dealing with
flood damages. There are 85 Americans that are still missing.
The death toll has climbed to 797. Yeah, this video
is terrifying to watch. The United States has said $ 3. 6

(32:17):
million in emergency aid, including food and other necessities. And
I'm still very concerned because they said it was basically
an aftershock of flood that could happen again.

Speaker 3 (32:26):
Gosh, it's horrible.

Speaker 5 (32:28):
The reason we haven't said so much I was reading
is because there's not much to save.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
Those areas that were wiped out are gone. Like, it's
not even a rebuild situation. It's just a wasteland.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
It just got washed away.

Speaker 2 (32:40):
It looked apocalyptic.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
It really did. Seen out of a movie.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
AAA is saying that there's going to.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
Be a ton of travelers out on the road, so
expect heavy traffic patterns starting on Thursday. Friday, Saturday, and
Monday are probably going to be the worst days to travel,
so keep that in the back of your head. And...
As most of us have known, Avengers Endgame is coming
back into theaters on September 25th.

Speaker 3 (33:06):
But as is Hollywood, as is.

Speaker 1 (33:09):
The world that we live in, they're also getting a
very special gauntlet popcorn bucket.

Speaker 4 (33:15):
Oh, cool.

Speaker 3 (33:17):
I don't buy them, but I like seeing what they
come up with.

Speaker 1 (33:18):
I like seeing it, too, but I do miss the
sex toy-edness of the popcorn bucket. Yeah. You know, like,
everybody's just like, oh, here's a hat, and it's a
popcorn bucket. Right. And, you know, Deadpool and Wolverine really
did a great job with that bucket.

Speaker 3 (33:34):
Was there a hole in the bottom of the bucket?

Speaker 1 (33:35):
Doom did a.

Speaker 3 (33:36):
Great job with their fleshlight popcorn bucket.

Speaker 1 (33:39):
No.

Speaker 3 (33:40):
No, it's the sandworm. I forget what it's called officially.
That sounds salty.

Speaker 4 (33:44):
It.

Speaker 1 (33:46):
I hate him.

Speaker 3 (33:47):
I haven't touched.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
A sandworm in so long.

Speaker 3 (33:50):
All right, we got to go.

Speaker 1 (33:52):
Now, here's the bit-only plug with Maris. Plug it. 844-955-9550.

Speaker 3 (33:56):
It's time for Pit Happens. This is a lovely game.
Where you join us. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
And you get caught in a situation. Oh, boy. And
your goal is not to get kicked out, tossed out,
thrown out, or bounced out by security.

Speaker 3 (34:16):
Thank you, Maria. You're welcome.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
I appreciate that.

Speaker 2 (34:19):
I like helping.

Speaker 1 (34:20):
Actually, go ahead and let us know what's going on today.
Where are we going as the pit mistress, Maria?

Speaker 2 (34:26):
An undisclosed location outside of L.A. Oh, wow.

Speaker 3 (34:30):
Nice. Going to California. Some thievery will be happening.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
But more importantly, we need you right now. 844-955-9550. Let's
check in with Brad from Lyle. Brad from Lyle. What's
going on, my man? What up?

Speaker 3 (34:48):
How are you doing today?

Speaker 2 (34:50):
Brad, what's happening?

Speaker 1 (34:51):
What are you doing, Brad?

Speaker 3 (34:52):
Fighting a cougar?

Speaker 1 (34:54):
You are live on the radio right now, sir. All right, yeah.
I was in the middle of drilling something out.

Speaker 3 (35:03):
Maria just shook.

Speaker 2 (35:05):
Everyone but me, huh?

Speaker 1 (35:09):
Anyway. I hope you were. That would be awesome.

Speaker 3 (35:13):
Can we talk to her?

Speaker 2 (35:14):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
Wow. Well, it's in a vice right now.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
In a vice right now is wild, bro.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
Anyway. Thanks for joining us for Fit Happens today. Up
for grabs is Black Label Society. Tickets, they're going to
be in town on September 12th over at the Aragon Ballroom.
And as we mentioned, you don't want to get kicked out,
tossed out, thrown out, or bounced out of this situation.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
Maria, are you ready? Oh, I'm born ready, baby. Okay.
It's me and you and Brad and Mikey. We are
all ready.

Speaker 4 (35:54):
In the lost PBR truck somewhere outside of L.A. We
won't tell you exactly where. We don't want the cops
getting our location. Oh, incredible choice on the Fiona Apple.
I am feeling like a criminal.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
Maris. We're having a jolly old time. I'm driving because
I'm the responsible one.

Speaker 3 (36:16):
I'm drinking in the back.

Speaker 4 (36:18):
Mikey's drinking in the back and passing him forward to
Maris so he can enjoy.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
Brad, you are behind me. You're currently sober because you're.

Speaker 4 (36:26):
Like, well, guys, I don't think we should be stealing
this truck. And hey, guys, you probably shouldn't be drinking
out on the road, even though, again, reminder, I am
not because I'm driving and I'm responsible.

Speaker 3 (36:38):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
Plot twist. Cops start tracking us.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
Oh, boy.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
The lights are on.

Speaker 4 (36:44):
Oh, they figured out this is the stolen PBR truck,
not just any random PBR truck.

Speaker 2 (36:49):
Brad, what are you doing?

Speaker 1 (36:53):
Well, I know cops like to have fun, so we're
throwing a party.

Speaker 3 (36:57):
We're throwing a party, and all the benefits are going
to the police.

Speaker 4 (37:02):
Oh!

Speaker 7 (37:03):
In.

Speaker 3 (37:03):
That is an incredible response.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
Roll the dice.

Speaker 1 (37:07):
Here we go.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
It's a 20-sided die. 20 is good, 1 is bad.

Speaker 1 (37:11):
11.

Speaker 2 (37:12):
Oh, it goes moderately well. Okay, let's figure this out.

Speaker 4 (37:19):
Okay, so... We pull over the truck on the side
of the highway. Mikey runs back into the trailer somehow.

Speaker 2 (37:26):
I guess it's connected.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (37:27):
The suspension of disbelief kicks in right here. He puts
a disco ball up. Maris already has his DJ equipment
back there because he likes to travel with that.

Speaker 1 (37:39):
What's up?

Speaker 4 (37:40):
Cops come up to us, me and you, Brad, because
we're still in the truck. And they're like, hey, guys,
what is going on? We have some comms that say
that this PBR truck might be stolen. And we go, no, officer,
you seem to be a little confused. This is our
cops are awesome party.

Speaker 1 (37:59):
Welcome.

Speaker 2 (37:59):
Please come back to the trailer. And so they do.
And they see the.

Speaker 4 (38:02):
Back of the trailer like, wow, cops are awesome. Thanks
for this party and supporting us. However, you are having
it on the side of the road and we need
some special licensing and permits for that.

Speaker 2 (38:14):
So we do.

Speaker 1 (38:14):
I got this. We hand out blue ribbons to all
the cops that show up to make them feel better
about the situation. Doubling down on the party. Here we go.

Speaker 2 (38:23):
Let's see.

Speaker 1 (38:24):
17. 17. That's a good one.

Speaker 2 (38:27):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 4 (38:28):
You say all cops are awesome, and you give them
a blue ribbon. That's all they need, it turns out.
They go, you know what, you guys? Oh, you hooligans.

Speaker 2 (38:35):
Oh, you're so fun.

Speaker 3 (38:36):
Hey, can I shoot that gun, officer?

Speaker 1 (38:38):
No. No. Yeah, buddy.

Speaker 2 (38:42):
Just not towards traffic.

Speaker 1 (38:43):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (38:43):
Now we're shooting off the edge of the road.

Speaker 2 (38:45):
You got it, champ. And that's how we get out
of that situation.

Speaker 3 (38:51):
Congratulations, Brad. You have survived.

Speaker 1 (38:55):
You are going to see Black Label Society at the
Aragon Ballroom on September 12th.

Speaker 3 (39:00):
My man, you are all set. Who do you plan
on taking with you to this one?

Speaker 1 (39:05):
Probably some friends, yeah. You have friends?

Speaker 3 (39:08):
Brad has friends. What's that like?

Speaker 1 (39:10):
Brad has options.

Speaker 2 (39:12):
Yeah, I'm Brad.

Speaker 3 (39:14):
I'm so popular.

Speaker 1 (39:15):
Brad, that's awesome, man. Congrats to you and whatever friends
you choose out there.

Speaker 5 (39:20):
Loosen that vice a little bit.

Speaker 3 (39:23):
Oh, Michael, stop.

Speaker 1 (39:25):
What? uh get your tickets at ticketmaster.com all thanks to
our friends over at live nation and there's a missing
lion a foot.

Speaker 5 (39:35):
Okay still missing a lioness and a cub are missing
have been photographed so it's very real in.

Speaker 3 (39:41):
In We'll tell you about it next.

Speaker 2 (39:49):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (39:50):
Lions are on the loose in Indiana. We reported last
week there was a kangaroo seen hopping down the side
of the.

Speaker 3 (39:57):
Road in Wisconsin.

Speaker 1 (39:58):
It sounds about Wisconsin.

Speaker 3 (39:59):
What the hell is going on? Rock 95.5 Chicago's Rock Station.

Speaker 5 (40:03):
I love animals, though, so this is very exciting. Uh,
the lines are reported. Uh, people reported seeing the lying
lions in South, uh, Southern Madison County and Northern Hancock County.
So they're moving, uh, which is good because that means
they're alive.

Speaker 3 (40:16):
The Madison County Sheriff's department and the Hancock County Sheriff's
department joined the Indiana state police for a four hour
search using ground units and thermal imaging drones. I think
the drones are where the way you go use thermal imaging,
get the drone up in the air and then you
can separate them from cows or whatever else is out there.
Cause the pictures that I saw, they were in the
middle of a big field.

Speaker 1 (40:34):
Uh, So this is on the border of Kentucky, which
explains a lot.

Speaker 5 (40:41):
One also has the mother, the big it's a lioness
and a cub. The lioness has a harness on it.
So they're saying that it's got to be somebody's quote
unquote pet.

Speaker 1 (40:52):
So here's the mistake that I just heard. They had
people on foot looking for the lion?

Speaker 3 (40:58):
That does seem weird. Especially with a cub.

Speaker 1 (41:01):
Absolutely not. Yeah, no. No.

Speaker 3 (41:03):
You could have called me and I would have been sick.

Speaker 1 (41:07):
I would have definitely not been there.

Speaker 2 (41:11):
Have we considered offering the lion a heart? Perhaps it
just needs courage.

Speaker 3 (41:17):
It's out there like, oh, you guys, I'm so afraid.
They're coming for us.

Speaker 1 (41:21):
You're going to see what kind of courage she has
when you approach that cub.

Speaker 3 (41:27):
That's what I wonder about.

Speaker 1 (41:28):
That's tough.

Speaker 2 (41:29):
Every time I hear a lion, have we seen the
movie Role Models?

Speaker 3 (41:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (41:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (41:33):
Great movie.

Speaker 2 (41:33):
OK, Ronnie's mom in there.

Speaker 4 (41:35):
I am a lioness and that is my car.

Speaker 2 (41:42):
I imagine that.

Speaker 4 (41:43):
Listen, this is just a single mom trying to navigate
life in Indiana. And I think that we should let
her be and just provide the resources that she needs.

Speaker 3 (41:52):
That'd be awesome if they started breeding. We had lions here.
Could you imagine if that was a thing? We have
mountain lions in Illinois. I guess that's true.

Speaker 1 (41:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (41:59):
I forget about mountain lions. Cougars, technically, or however you want.

Speaker 1 (42:03):
To call it.

Speaker 2 (42:03):
We'll get John Mellencamp over there.

Speaker 1 (42:05):
No, I don't think he's going to help.

Speaker 3 (42:06):
It's his little name.

Speaker 5 (42:08):
Interestingly enough, no zoos or sanctuaries have reported missing lions,
and it is legal to own a lion in Indiana,
but there's no permits have been taken out recently or in...
for a long time so that someone has a lot
you know if there's a permit taken out they go
find this person be like hey we got your lion
but they don't know where these lions came from and
nobody's stepping up of.

Speaker 3 (42:26):
Course if I lost my line and I didn't have
a permit I.

Speaker 1 (42:29):
Ain't saying nothing either it's true you can.

Speaker 4 (42:30):
Be quiet at that point yeah you're not telling the
truth you're lying.

Speaker 3 (42:33):
That's right he ain't telling the truth give her a
bow she's been trying.

Speaker 1 (42:36):
Really hard this morning yes yes okay give it here
god it's so good alright you're done for the day
okay but no it's insane to There's just a lion
roaming wild in Indiana, and odds are, the lion's going
to stay hidden for a while. Yeah. I just worry.

Speaker 4 (42:55):
Well. What?

Speaker 1 (42:56):
I want the lion to get somewhere safe before winter.

Speaker 2 (42:59):
I want them to not euthanize them. That's what I want.

Speaker 5 (43:03):
I think that's what's going to happen. I think as
long as it's not messing with humans. One thing I
learned in Colorado is once an animal... If someone feeds
a deer, the deer's done. They'll kill it.

Speaker 3 (43:12):
If someone messes with an elk, if there's that human contact,
that's when everything changes.

Speaker 2 (43:17):
Which is messed up because it's not always the animal's fault.

Speaker 3 (43:19):
No, it never is. People are so stupid. The tourists
that would come in and screw with the elk and stuff,
I'm like, kill them. I mean, the elk. I was
always rooting for the elk.

Speaker 1 (43:32):
Oh, dear. Oh, dear. Good one.

Speaker 5 (43:35):
They do say if you see it, obviously call authorities immediately.
They're trying to round these lines up.

Speaker 1 (43:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (43:40):
If I see it, then I have a new pet line.

Speaker 3 (43:41):
That would be amazing. Maria walks in tomorrow with just
a cub. She's like, Mama's at home.

Speaker 1 (43:47):
I have full faith that you would find that lion.

Speaker 2 (43:49):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (43:49):
And then I would have your eulogy ready.

Speaker 2 (43:52):
You would do my eulogy?

Speaker 3 (43:55):
I'd do something. It'd be a roasting.

Speaker 1 (43:57):
Great.

Speaker 3 (43:57):
That'd be so fun. If I do die, you guys
got to roast me.

Speaker 1 (43:59):
That'd be great. That's absolutely what's going to happen.

Speaker 3 (44:02):
That'd be the only thing that's.

Speaker 1 (44:04):
Going to happen. Sorry, I was like away from my buttons.
My bad. 95 minutes commercial free is next on Rock 95.5.

Speaker 3 (44:21):
So come and get it.

Speaker 1 (44:22):
Thanks for joining us.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
You're welcome.

Speaker 3 (44:23):
In this terrible, terrible show that is The Morning Mosh Pit.

Speaker 1 (44:26):
I am Maris.

Speaker 2 (44:27):
I think that our show is mediocre. I'm Maria Palmer.

Speaker 1 (44:30):
I like it. I'm Michael. Oh, joy. Now, Maria. Yes.
There are scammers afoot. So as you've been on the
Tinder app, you do your research before you meet anybody.

Speaker 2 (44:43):
Oh, I know everything about you by the time we're
sitting down on that date.

Speaker 1 (44:46):
Well, there's at least 26 women who didn't do any
research whatsoever.

Speaker 3 (44:52):
I was reading about this.

Speaker 1 (44:54):
Introducing Dajon Love, 49ers wide receiver that never got signed.
He was trolling on Instagram and social media as if
he were an NFL player.

Speaker 3 (45:09):
Was he the one that was on the beach?

Speaker 1 (45:10):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (45:10):
He's like doing drills on the beach with a helmet on.

Speaker 1 (45:12):
He's running the worst routes I've ever seen. So true.

Speaker 6 (45:15):
The least muscular NFL receiver I've ever seen in my life.
And what he did was he bought a persona and
he kept buying into it to basically scam people out
of money. Unfortunately, it did end up being women. These women,
he would hit them up in their DMs and, you know,

(45:36):
he'd do all the flashy stuff. I'm signing my contract.
Here I am at practice. Here I am with my car.
He was renting a Lamborghini at the time to really
show off.

Speaker 2 (45:46):
And If this was a real person, by the way, bye.

Speaker 3 (45:50):
He scammed with his partner, 26 women.

Speaker 1 (45:54):
For $ 1. 3 million.

Speaker 3 (45:57):
I don't understand. If somebody's so rich, why are you
going to send them any money?

Speaker 1 (46:01):
Here's what it was. His money was tied up in contracts. Oh, boy.

Speaker 3 (46:06):
The NFL season hadn't, quote, unquote, started just yet.

Speaker 1 (46:09):
I see. And then he had his money tied up
in real estate. But what he wanted to do was
really help them make money as well.

Speaker 3 (46:17):
So he got the money out of them.

Speaker 4 (46:20):
Now.

Speaker 3 (46:21):
As I know, you do your research, and Michael, you.

Speaker 1 (46:24):
Kind of half-ass it. Yeah. Women. Yes. Ladies.

Speaker 4 (46:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (46:29):
It is so easy to Google an NFL player ever. Ever.

Speaker 3 (46:34):
Especially, you'd think that'd be the first thing you'd do
if you're like, oh my God, an NFL player?

Speaker 1 (46:39):
Who is he? Even if he said he's on a
practice squad, he pops up somewhere on that NFL sphere
of stuff.

Speaker 3 (46:45):
But also, also, also, now- Have good guy friends in
your life, too.

Speaker 6 (46:50):
Because if you say, oh, hey, this NFL player just
hit me up, I'm excited for you.

Speaker 3 (46:55):
I am so excited for.

Speaker 1 (46:56):
You because we are up. We are going to the game,
and I'm going to support you and your new man.
But if he's not real, I will absolutely 100% tell you, hey,
you're getting scammed. You are getting scammed.

Speaker 2 (47:11):
I have been talking to this guy.

Speaker 1 (47:13):
Oh, Lord. Jesus.

Speaker 2 (47:14):
He's a real catch. He's a prince. In Nigeria.

Speaker 3 (47:19):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 5 (47:20):
If there's any Sidney Sweeney scammers out there, you just
hit me up immediately.

Speaker 3 (47:25):
What do you think you're going to get out of that, Michael?

Speaker 1 (47:31):
That's all.

Speaker 3 (47:32):
That's all I want in my life.

Speaker 1 (47:32):
It's on the internet already.

Speaker 3 (47:34):
I just want some boobies.

Speaker 2 (47:36):
Well, you can get some. I'm sure there's a lot
of doctors that would help you out.

Speaker 1 (47:39):
It's expensive.

Speaker 2 (47:40):
You'd look great.

Speaker 3 (47:41):
And you got to replace them every 10 years. Seems
like a whole to-do.

Speaker 4 (47:43):
Well, the only issue with you and your center of
gravity is you'd topple over.

Speaker 1 (47:46):
That's true.

Speaker 3 (47:47):
Maybe I'll get a butt cheeks.

Speaker 2 (47:49):
Oh, maybe you could be a donor.

Speaker 3 (47:52):
I'm not donating any of this. I'm staying right here
where it is.

Speaker 2 (47:55):
One cheek, two cheek, red cheek, blue cheek. Rock News. Oh,
my God.

Speaker 4 (48:02):
I'm so sorry.

Speaker 1 (48:03):
Jesus.

Speaker 3 (48:04):
Did anybody warn me?

Speaker 4 (48:05):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (48:07):
Of course.

Speaker 3 (48:07):
We're sitting in here talking about animals and lions.

Speaker 4 (48:10):
By the way, dear listener, in case you missed that,
mics were on and turned up and Maris is trying
to whisper to Mikey.

Speaker 1 (48:17):
Rock news, rock news.

Speaker 3 (48:18):
Mikey goes, raccoons?

Speaker 1 (48:20):
I thought he said raccoons.

Speaker 2 (48:21):
We do this.

Speaker 3 (48:22):
Bit every goddamn day. Yeah, but it's in different spots now,
so it is a little different.

Speaker 1 (48:26):
Do this.

Speaker 5 (48:27):
Tell somebody, say rock news. Don't use any, it's a
sound and it totally looks like raccoons. And not only that,
we're just in here talking about wild animals.

Speaker 2 (48:35):
We don't, have a raccoon story on the docket for today.

Speaker 1 (48:37):
Well, I didn't think so either. That's why I was
so confused.

Speaker 2 (48:40):
Anyway, rock news.

Speaker 1 (48:41):
Before we get there, because I know how Maria runs
and it's by the seat of.

Speaker 3 (48:46):
Her own hands.

Speaker 2 (48:47):
Yeah, but I always figure it out.

Speaker 3 (48:49):
When you see where we have placed your bits, what
do you do? Oh, I don't have it up in
front of me. Because you usually call it out. You go,
rock news is next.

Speaker 1 (48:57):
He did.

Speaker 5 (49:00):
You want to get in on some wild animals? Green
Day is talking about AI. They've made a comment on it.
It's not a long comment, but I like it. He said, cool, bro.
Can AI throw a television out of a hotel window?
Which I kind of like. He said, an American idiot can. So,
how about that?

Speaker 1 (49:17):
Good job.

Speaker 3 (49:18):
Very fun.

Speaker 5 (49:19):
And Pearl Jam celebrating Ten's 35th birthday with a rare
live performance on vinyl.

Speaker 3 (49:23):
Now, this is kind of cool.

Speaker 5 (49:24):
The only time they have ever played Ten in its
entirety and just that album was at a Philly show
April 29th, 2016. I remember I was getting into Pearl
Jam at that point, and everybody's making a huge deal
about it, and I kind of didn't get it. They've
never played it live. Philly also is famous for having
a crazy Pearl Jam fan base.

Speaker 1 (49:43):
Really?

Speaker 5 (49:43):
They have a thing in the rafters of the... Well,
I don't think that's in that same building anymore because
didn't Philly get a new stadium of some sort? So
I remember them talking about tearing it down. But anyway,
in the rafters of whatever stadium they've done, 10 sold
out shows in that stadium.

Speaker 3 (49:57):
That's the most anywhere. So at any rate, they're going
to release this very cool looking vinyl. They're getting real
creative with the vinyls. But yeah, 10 live April 29th,
Wells Fargo Center in Philly. Just a very, very famous
Pearl Jam show. It's available for preorder now and it'll
be out. November 29th.

Speaker 1 (50:15):
Look at you. That's awesome.

Speaker 3 (50:17):
Listen to live Pearl Jam if you get a chance.
Super good. Better live than recorded, in my opinion. Now,
when you talk about a Pearl Jam cover band. I
like them. I thought they were great. Can we hear
a little bit, maybe?

Speaker 1 (50:28):
Yeah, we can.

Speaker 5 (50:28):
We went and saw some Saturday night. Here is the
band 10, is what they call themselves.

Speaker 3 (50:33):
It's going to make Maria.

Speaker 2 (50:34):
I thought it was good. It's so good.

Speaker 3 (50:36):
It was amazing.

Speaker 4 (50:37):
It is.

Speaker 2 (50:38):
I'm not saying that.

Speaker 1 (50:44):
She's laughing uncontrollably right now. There's something wrong with that.

Speaker 2 (50:50):
It sounds just like them.

Speaker 1 (50:52):
I think it does.

Speaker 2 (50:53):
Crucially, it's not them.

Speaker 1 (50:56):
No, it sounds amazing. So good. And we want you
to join us in the chat on this one. Texas 844-955-9550.
Do you love cover bands? Are there cover bands you
won't listen to? Or does it give you the icking?
You just laugh uncontrollably in their face.

Speaker 2 (51:13):
I support it. It's not for me.

Speaker 3 (51:15):
Hey, for all the raccoons.

Speaker 2 (51:17):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (51:18):
And all the concert listings. Just head over to rock955. com.

Speaker 2 (51:28):
Heaven beside you. Human in front of you. Robot behind you.

Speaker 3 (51:33):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 2 (51:34):
Human-robot war.

Speaker 3 (51:36):
News from the front of the inevitable human-robot war.

Speaker 2 (51:39):
Did I just get you on that?

Speaker 3 (51:40):
That was a good one. That's one of my biggest fears.

Speaker 2 (51:44):
A robot behind you?

Speaker 1 (51:45):
They're coming.

Speaker 2 (51:46):
You're like, I want to be behind a robot.

Speaker 1 (51:47):
Oh, no. Oh, God. All right.

Speaker 4 (51:49):
So a man in Taiwan discovered his wife was cheating
after remotely turning on the camera of their robot vacuum.
But recording what he saw eventually landed him in jail.
So the man had already become suspicious after finding an
unfamiliar toothbrush at a vacation home and seeing another man
on security footage.

Speaker 3 (52:10):
Months later well what well okay that seems like i
would be calling her out at that point.

Speaker 4 (52:14):
Correct um but cheaters gaslight so you have to have
more evidence we know this Months later, he turned on
the vacuum, hoping to surprise his wife by speaking through it,
only to see her with the other man.

Speaker 3 (52:26):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 2 (52:26):
That sucks a lot. He was going to be cute
about it and everything. Then, nope, she cheating.

Speaker 3 (52:30):
That's what Dyson is ratting us out now?

Speaker 4 (52:32):
He kept recording and later used the video in court,
winning just over $ 15, 000 in compensation from his wife and
her lover. His wife then sued him for secretly recording
private activity. A court ruled that being married did not
cancel her right to privacy. sentencing him to five months
in jail and ordering him to pay a essentially $ 5, 000 fine.

Speaker 3 (52:56):
Why does a vacuum need a camera in it?

Speaker 1 (52:58):
I think it's mapping the room.

Speaker 2 (53:00):
Yeah, Roomba kind of deal?

Speaker 3 (53:01):
Boy, they are mapping everything, aren't they?

Speaker 1 (53:03):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (53:03):
This is crazy.

Speaker 1 (53:05):
Yes. She got mapped, so. Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 2 (53:08):
She sure did.

Speaker 1 (53:08):
Mapped and wrapped.

Speaker 2 (53:09):
What do we think of this?

Speaker 3 (53:11):
I don't... Here's an idea.

Speaker 1 (53:14):
Don't cheat. Correct.

Speaker 3 (53:15):
You don't want to get caught. Don't cheat.

Speaker 1 (53:17):
Yes. Before... Or a Roomba specifically.

Speaker 3 (53:21):
That damn Roomba.

Speaker 1 (53:23):
If it's got cameras to map the room so it
knows where to clean and can see dirt or however
it's working, cool. I don't want to be able to
patch in and be like, hey, sweetie, how's breakfast?

Speaker 3 (53:33):
How you doing?

Speaker 1 (53:33):
I don't like that as a functional part of the technology.

Speaker 2 (53:38):
I agreed.

Speaker 4 (53:41):
Legally speaking, that's where I'm landing right now. This is
an interesting case because true, she definitely has the right
to privacy, but But they were still married. And wasn't
that a marital marital property? So doesn't he also have
the right to record within his own home?

Speaker 1 (53:56):
I'm intrigued by this.

Speaker 2 (53:57):
Granted, this is a good point. Taiwan.

Speaker 7 (53:58):
So I don't know what the laws are there. But
that's if I were his lawyer. I bet it is.
But it's the same one we have here. You can't
no matter what it is or where it is, you
can't record someone else without their consent.

Speaker 2 (54:09):
But I think that you can in your own home.
And it also depends how you're using that footage as well.

Speaker 1 (54:15):
You're looking at your ring cameras. People have security cameras
all around these days.

Speaker 3 (54:20):
So, yeah, I guess. You're always on camera these days.
And that's what a cop told me. He was like,
anywhere you go, you're you're being recorded somewhere.

Speaker 4 (54:28):
You can't secretly record a conversation, at least in Illinois,
where a two party state. So both people on the
conversation have to be aware and consent to it being recorded.

Speaker 1 (54:37):
But.

Speaker 3 (54:38):
If they were married, then yeah, you're right, because that
adds a whole different layer.

Speaker 2 (54:41):
They're married. And is this even technically a secret record?
He did record it.

Speaker 3 (54:45):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 2 (54:45):
Secretly.

Speaker 5 (54:46):
Do we have a lawyer that is listening? Can someone
call us or send us a text or something? Kind
of help us clear this up?

Speaker 1 (54:50):
Because we'd love to know.

Speaker 2 (54:51):
Are they familiar with Taiwanese law?

Speaker 3 (54:53):
Maybe.

Speaker 1 (54:54):
See?

Speaker 4 (54:54):
And this is how they get you and how they
win the human versus robot war.

Speaker 3 (54:58):
This was news from the front of the inevitable human
robot war.

Speaker 1 (55:05):
Now here's the bit only plug with mares plug it.

Speaker 3 (55:09):
Oh my god i love a microphone you unplugged.

Speaker 1 (55:15):
It there good lord i let that one rip 844-955-9550

for a summer of fun concerts. And we still have
a few of those concerts with tickets left to give away.
You want these concert tickets. They're amazing.

Speaker 3 (55:48):
We've said it all summer long.

Speaker 1 (55:50):
Live Nation has truly done a great job curating shows.

Speaker 3 (55:53):
What a great summer.

Speaker 1 (55:54):
And it just hasn't. There's been no miss here. So 844-955-9550.
Let's talk to Dave from Park Forest. Dave, you're live
on Rock 95.5 with the Morning Mosh Pit. How are
you doing, my man?

Speaker 6 (56:08):
Hello.

Speaker 4 (56:10):
Hi.

Speaker 3 (56:11):
Dave, can you hear us?

Speaker 1 (56:13):
Yes, I got you.

Speaker 3 (56:14):
Okay, Dave. Get ready because you're playing fun to the
head this morning.

Speaker 6 (56:19):
All right.

Speaker 4 (56:20):
All righty.

Speaker 1 (56:22):
This is going to go great. Hi, Dave.

Speaker 2 (56:23):
I'm feeling I know how this is going to go.

Speaker 1 (56:25):
I already know how this is going to go.

Speaker 2 (56:26):
Who's your hostage, Dave?

Speaker 1 (56:27):
I'm recovering from Malort.

Speaker 3 (56:31):
Did you go out to the big Malort thing? Yeah.

Speaker 1 (56:35):
Yeah, how cool. Yeah, we sent you some pics and
a couple vids and stuff.

Speaker 4 (56:39):
Oh, nice.

Speaker 1 (56:40):
Nice.

Speaker 3 (56:41):
Oh, fun, man.

Speaker 2 (56:41):
Where did you send it? To the DMs for Mashup?

Speaker 1 (56:43):
It was interesting. Yeah, at MMP. Perfect.

Speaker 3 (56:48):
Okay, cool. World record Malort shoot happened last night. Biggest
shooters in the world.

Speaker 4 (56:54):
I can tell you're about to play fun to the
head sincerely, and you're going to give it your best shot.

Speaker 1 (56:59):
Right, Dave? Oh, absolutely.

Speaker 3 (57:02):
Let's just cut to the chase here.

Speaker 2 (57:04):
Sounds sarcastic.

Speaker 1 (57:06):
Dave, who do you want to take hostage? Maria, Michael,
or myself?

Speaker 2 (57:13):
Me.

Speaker 1 (57:16):
I feel like I've been picking on Michael too much.
I agree.

Speaker 2 (57:19):
No such thing as too much.

Speaker 1 (57:21):
So I'm going to go with... I got to go
with Hammond Bears and Maris. All right.

Speaker 3 (57:30):
Here we go.

Speaker 1 (57:32):
Thank you, Dave.

Speaker 2 (57:35):
Thank you, Dave.

Speaker 3 (57:36):
Question one.

Speaker 2 (57:38):
Okay, Dave. Which band released the album Appetite for Destruction?

Speaker 1 (57:45):
Oh, I know that. I know that. Five plus four.
Ellie and AJ.

Speaker 2 (57:55):
Dang.

Speaker 1 (57:57):
You.

Speaker 3 (57:59):
I guess it wasn't.

Speaker 1 (58:00):
You got a save.

Speaker 2 (58:02):
I guess not.

Speaker 1 (58:04):
No, it wasn't Ellie and AJ.

Speaker 2 (58:06):
It's okay. Maris will save you the next one. You
don't know, all right?

Speaker 1 (58:09):
It was Guns N' Roses. Okay.

Speaker 2 (58:10):
Okay. Question two.

Speaker 4 (58:14):
What was the name of the arcade game where players
controlled a frog trying to cross a busy road and
a river?

Speaker 1 (58:24):
I know this one, actually. Yeah, what is the answer, Dave?

Speaker 4 (58:27):
That's Frogger.

Speaker 1 (58:28):
Oh, my goodness.

Speaker 3 (58:29):
That is Frogger.

Speaker 4 (58:30):
Okay. Wow.

Speaker 3 (58:32):
Off-putting.

Speaker 1 (58:32):
There we go.

Speaker 5 (58:33):
Saved you.

Speaker 4 (58:33):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (58:33):
All right. Next.

Speaker 4 (58:36):
What was the name of the instant messaging service that
uses the phrase, you've got mail? That's AOL LinkedIn Messenger.

Speaker 3 (58:46):
Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 1 (58:46):
Yes, it is.

Speaker 3 (58:47):
He's streaking now.

Speaker 2 (58:48):
I don't even know it's Dave.

Speaker 1 (58:49):
Who are you? Dave, good job. One more, and you
still have a save left. I understand. And you get
to spin the.

Speaker 2 (58:59):
Wheel.

Speaker 7 (59:00):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (59:00):
What 1984 film featured a group of kids hunting for
a pirate treasure after discovering an old treasure map?

Speaker 3 (59:12):
Can you say it again, please?

Speaker 4 (59:14):
What 1984 film featured a group of kids hunting for
pirate treasure after discovering an old treasure map?

Speaker 1 (59:21):
Die Hard. You guys.

Speaker 2 (59:27):
A great guess.

Speaker 1 (59:29):
A Christmas movie.

Speaker 4 (59:30):
Really close. Just one step over. It was The Goonies.

Speaker 1 (59:35):
Oh, jeez. All right.

Speaker 3 (59:37):
Oh, I think I actually saw that once, too.

Speaker 1 (59:40):
All right.

Speaker 3 (59:43):
For all the marvels.

Speaker 1 (59:46):
You have a save. Dave.

Speaker 2 (59:49):
You do get a save, Dave.

Speaker 1 (59:50):
I understand. I know.

Speaker 2 (59:53):
He comprehends. That's not the issue.

Speaker 3 (59:55):
All right, final question.

Speaker 4 (59:58):
What was the name of the fictional town where the
X-Files agents Mulder and Scully worked out of FBI headquarters?

Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:00:11):
The West Room.

Speaker 4 (01:00:21):
So it says fictional town, but it was out of Washington, D.C.,
which is not fictional because they worked out of the
FBI headquarters.

Speaker 5 (01:00:29):
Isn't that like langley or something like that i.

Speaker 4 (01:00:32):
Don't know dave dave don't sit here and pretend that
you care i don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:00:38):
What the answers are you don't get to spin the
wheel of rock today somebody will have a chance tomorrow
in front of the head but Dave, for your failure today,
we give you a.

Speaker 3 (01:00:56):
Jar of humidity.

Speaker 1 (01:00:58):
Oh, nice.

Speaker 2 (01:00:59):
A lot of people call that water.

Speaker 3 (01:01:02):
You get to enjoy your jar.

Speaker 1 (01:01:04):
It's a good thing I had the plumbers out Saturday.

Speaker 3 (01:01:09):
Langley CIA, by the way.

Speaker 1 (01:01:10):
There you go. I love hearing this music, but Dave,
we got to let you go to continue 95 minutes
commercial free, especially with the Rolling Stones right now. Yes,
paint it black on Rock 95.5.

Speaker 3 (01:01:27):
One of my favorite times of day, it is text time.

Speaker 8 (01:01:32):
844-955-9550.

Speaker 3 (01:01:33):
Rock 95.5 Chicago's Rock Station. We are the Morning Mosh Pit.

Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
And I apologize.

Speaker 3 (01:01:37):
It's real.

Speaker 5 (01:01:39):
We're talking about Maria and I went to see a
Pearl Jam cover band called 10 over the weekend.

Speaker 3 (01:01:43):
I thought they were fantastic.

Speaker 5 (01:01:44):
But the same thing happens to Maria that happens to
me when I watch musicals.

Speaker 1 (01:01:48):
She gets the cringe.

Speaker 7 (01:01:48):
She gets the ick.

Speaker 2 (01:01:49):
It gave me the ick. And I feel so bad.
I don't want to take away anyone's enjoyment from that.

Speaker 3 (01:01:54):
Such accomplished musicians, too.

Speaker 4 (01:01:56):
And they are, and they sound great, and they're very
musically skilled, and it's hilarious to me.

Speaker 5 (01:02:01):
From the 708, our first text is Mac Sabbath. You know,
like a Black Sabbath cover band that dresses up like Grimace.

Speaker 2 (01:02:08):
The McDonald's characters.

Speaker 1 (01:02:09):
The Hamburglar or whatever. Hamburglar, yeah, that's right. That's funny.

Speaker 2 (01:02:14):
I know a guy that dresses up like the Hamburglar,
even though he doesn't mean to.

Speaker 3 (01:02:18):
Are we taking turns today or am I going through?

Speaker 2 (01:02:20):
Oh, yeah, I guess I can do it.

Speaker 3 (01:02:22):
I thought we talked about that.

Speaker 2 (01:02:23):
814 says, love me. I didn't realize that we had
moved on to the next one.

Speaker 3 (01:02:26):
I thought that's what Maris said.

Speaker 4 (01:02:27):
It's fine.

Speaker 2 (01:02:27):
I was listening.

Speaker 4 (01:02:28):
I didn't realize that we had moved on. Hey, Maris,
I'm trying to retest. Hey, Maris, I'm trying to retest.

Speaker 1 (01:02:33):
Do it. Do it.

Speaker 4 (01:02:34):
Please stop interrupting me. From 814, love me some Weird Al,
the king of parody.

Speaker 1 (01:02:39):
Forget about it.

Speaker 2 (01:02:39):
But notably, parody is different from a cover band.

Speaker 4 (01:02:42):
Agreed.

Speaker 2 (01:02:42):
It's a whole different experience.

Speaker 1 (01:02:43):
Very much so. from 219 because it is my turn to.

Speaker 3 (01:02:47):
Read a text message right now.

Speaker 8 (01:02:48):
We're going to go around the room again and rotate.
Fun fact, most of the time when you leave a
distribution center, you will row through a garden checkpoint. Sometimes
that guarded checkpoint.

Speaker 3 (01:03:02):
Makes you open the doors to check your load and paperwork.

Speaker 1 (01:03:07):
Either mini balls were dropped or this is just a
marketing ploy.

Speaker 4 (01:03:12):
This is the PBR truck being stolen, allegedly.

Speaker 1 (01:03:15):
In California, of all places.

Speaker 3 (01:03:17):
Are we all of the same mindset that this is
a marketing ploy?

Speaker 2 (01:03:21):
We all think this is.

Speaker 3 (01:03:21):
We're going to find out in 18 days what they're marketing.

Speaker 1 (01:03:23):
It's in a warehouse.

Speaker 5 (01:03:24):
Yeah, they said we have a big announcement coming in
18 days about the, you know, come on.

Speaker 4 (01:03:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:03:29):
From the 773, my favorite websites tell me there are
cougars in my area dying to meet me.

Speaker 5 (01:03:34):
There's lions on the loose in Indiana. This guy's went
to his favorite website and got cougars.

Speaker 3 (01:03:39):
Maria, it is your turn to read.

Speaker 2 (01:03:42):
Oh, you think because I'm a woman? I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:03:45):
Yes, you proved that already.

Speaker 2 (01:03:47):
Misogynistic Maris on the morning mosh pit.

Speaker 3 (01:03:49):
And it's not because you're a woman, it's because your
name is Maria.

Speaker 1 (01:03:52):
And now it's.

Speaker 4 (01:03:52):
Time for Miss Andrea Maria. 630 says, my father used
to tell women he played for the Cubs. He never
scammed anyone, but was able to get many dates. Hey,
so that is scamming.

Speaker 3 (01:04:04):
Lying to get somewhere is scamming.

Speaker 2 (01:04:06):
He might not be trying to get money.

Speaker 3 (01:04:08):
But still a scam.

Speaker 1 (01:04:09):
True. And finally, can you read a text?

Speaker 4 (01:04:11):
Oh, God.

Speaker 3 (01:04:12):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (01:04:13):
I was actually in the middle of doing that right there.

Speaker 3 (01:04:16):
God, it is almost the end of the show because
these two are going to fight. 708 Morning Pit. Totra
can check it in.

Speaker 4 (01:04:22):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (01:04:23):
Lest we forget. Say it loud and proud. F the
Packers all the time. Absolutely. Damn right. Tell Chuck, Ken.

Speaker 2 (01:04:31):
I would if they were here.

Speaker 1 (01:04:32):
We are, what, nine days away, Michael, from the NFL?

Speaker 6 (01:04:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:04:37):
Yeah, man.

Speaker 3 (01:04:38):
Nine days away. 13 days from the Bears' first game.

Speaker 1 (01:04:41):
A little Wednesday, then a Thursday night football. I can't wait.

Speaker 5 (01:04:47):
51 days away from the Bulls' opening day.

Speaker 1 (01:04:49):
Oh, boy.

Speaker 3 (01:04:50):
And how about this? Blackhawks start in 29 days.

Speaker 1 (01:04:53):
Love that.

Speaker 3 (01:04:54):
And thank you for texting us.

Speaker 1 (01:04:55):
Actually, that's Michael's line as.

Speaker 3 (01:04:56):
He's drinking water.

Speaker 4 (01:04:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:04:59):
844-955-9550. Get your last minute text. And that's 844-955-9550. Oh, geez.

Speaker 5 (01:05:06):
Sorry.

Speaker 2 (01:05:06):
I was tripping on a hole in a paper heart.
Like the song that we just played on 95.5.

Speaker 4 (01:05:13):
That's theater of the mind, baby.

Speaker 3 (01:05:17):
It was so good. I wanted to laugh.

Speaker 4 (01:05:20):
We had you going on Chicago's rock station. It's just
something that we do around here on the morning mosh pit.
My name is Maria Palmer.

Speaker 3 (01:05:27):
I thought something else was wrong with you.

Speaker 1 (01:05:28):
I'm Maris.

Speaker 3 (01:05:29):
I'm what's wrong.

Speaker 5 (01:05:29):
I'm Michael.

Speaker 2 (01:05:31):
Accurate.

Speaker 4 (01:05:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:05:32):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (01:05:34):
What another beautiful. Monday, the sun is not out. The
sky is not blue.

Speaker 3 (01:05:39):
It's brighter than it was earlier. It looks a little
better out there.

Speaker 2 (01:05:43):
Rainy days and Mondays always get me down, and it's both, so.

Speaker 3 (01:05:46):
Maria's going to have a good cry today.

Speaker 2 (01:05:48):
I'm going to go cry now.

Speaker 1 (01:05:49):
We'll be back tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (01:05:50):
We'll be back tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (01:05:51):
Did you pick a movie?

Speaker 2 (01:05:53):
It's got to be The Lion King, like if I'm
going to cry to something.

Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:05:56):
I gotta watch Simba's dad die.

Speaker 3 (01:05:58):
I thought it would be like a rom-com or something.

Speaker 1 (01:06:00):
It's not a big crier movie for me.

Speaker 3 (01:06:02):
I guess that makes sense.

Speaker 2 (01:06:03):
That doesn't make you cry, you monster?

Speaker 1 (01:06:04):
I think I've seen it so many times.

Speaker 2 (01:06:05):
Is it because they're both animals and you don't care
about that?

Speaker 1 (01:06:07):
No, I remember actively crying during Black Panther 2. The
first 20 minutes was rough.

Speaker 2 (01:06:14):
Okay, that's another contender. What's a good crying movie, Mikey?

Speaker 1 (01:06:18):
Oh, you know what?

Speaker 2 (01:06:19):
I'll do Steel Magnolias.

Speaker 5 (01:06:20):
Nah, what's the one with the famous crying movie? Damn it,
I can't remember it.

Speaker 2 (01:06:26):
Sounds good.

Speaker 3 (01:06:27):
Yeah, I can't think of it.

Speaker 1 (01:06:28):
Hold on, hold on.

Speaker 2 (01:06:28):
Who's in it?

Speaker 1 (01:06:29):
I don't remember.

Speaker 3 (01:06:30):
We just got to end the show. Yeah, that's fine.

Speaker 2 (01:06:32):
Take your time.

Speaker 3 (01:06:33):
If I said the name, you would all be like,
