Speaker 1 (00:02):
We are the Morning Mosh Pit on Rock 95.5 and
happy Friday.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Oh my God, thank God.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
How are you doing, Michael?
Speaker 2 (00:08):
I'm so glad it's Friday.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
Not just Friday.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
It's Free Chainsaw Friday!
Speaker 1 (00:16):
We're just excited like everybody else.
Speaker 3 (00:19):
It's football.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Dude, the Bears play. I was doing a lot of
research before the show. They're going to win this game,
aren't they? Well, we got a guy from iHeart in Charlotte. Yeah.
And he's going to come on the show at 9 o'clock,
and we're going to hash this thing out. But it
looks to me like the Bears are big favorites in
this game.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
Did you see what happened yesterday? 49ers? Rams were big favorites.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
Oh, don't talk about that.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
I don't want to be that sore spot, but that's
just how the NFL works.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
That's true. A lot of injuries early. I'm seeing a
lot of players on hands and knees on the field.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
Hey, you're getting hit for real.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
Yeah, true. The preseason, a lot of the starters didn't play. Well,
don't forget about that huge Ohio State game this weekend.
Speaker 4 (01:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
Yeah, I'm already aware. Got my shirt ironed, my hat
picked out.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
I'm ready to go. They're saying that Texas might have
the edge. And I'm like, I don't know how they
got that. But, you know, it's fine.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
It's fine.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
Stock show. We got Riot Fest tickets. We got Iron
Maiden tickets. We got T-Box tickets. And Michael has a
weather as well.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
Let's do it. Michael's obsession with clouds cannot be overstated.
It went up to the cloud.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
And you can't get it down from the clouds? Nobody
understands the cloud. It's a mystery.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Here's weather.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
By the way, shout out to the hundreds of people
who are already in all the chat rooms and on
the video chats this morning out there. We got YouTube
video going. By the way, that goes on when music
is playing. So if you're watching on these screens, you
can hang out with us inside the studio and watch
how stupid we are.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Basically like an inside scoop.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
It's very dumb. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Look at the chats going crazy right now. We love
you guys. Let's see here. Weather today. Absolutely beautiful. Wall
to wall sunshine.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
Is there a good sunrise?
Speaker 1 (02:05):
It's going to be a sexy sunrise.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
I think.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Yeah, it's on TV.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
Beautiful.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Navy Pier got all kinds of stuff going on out
there this weekend.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
It's going to be a fun one.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
And it'd be bad if we didn't bring up that
it is the 25th anniversary.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:20):
9-11.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
9-11. We're going to be talking about that a little
bit later in the show.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Text us.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
Where were you? Like, the moment you knew or the
moment you saw the second plane or the moment you
were like, oh, no.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
Text us.
Speaker 4 (02:34):
844-955-9550.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Rock 95.5. We are the Morning Mosh Pit. I'm Maris.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
I'm Michael.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
And our mistress of chaos, Maria, is still on vacation.
She's really enjoying herself, too.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
I just saw some of her stories on Instagram. It
looks like she's in the rainforest out there.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
I hope she doesn't get lost. Yeah, truth.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
But as we mentioned earlier, today is the 25th anniversary
of 9-11. And it's wild even thinking that 25 years later,
I know for me, that's a very vivid memory of
what happened that day.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
What were you, what did you have going on that day, Michael?
Speaker 2 (03:13):
I was living in a town called Battleground, Washington. I
just graduated high school. Like this was my first free summer, right?
And I came down from upstairs and flipped the TV on.
I like the news. And so I just put the
news on. I was like, oh, a plane flew into
a building. That's crazy. I sat down to watch it
for a second. All of a sudden, the second one hit.
And that I felt like was when everything changed. My
(03:34):
phone started lighting up. I was yelling upstairs to my roommate.
I was like, hey, man, you got to get down
here and see this. Something's going on down here. This
is crazy.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
And from there, you know, flights were every flight. Forty
two hundred flights were grounded. Yeah, it was wild. What
about you?
Speaker 3 (03:48):
What was the moment?
Speaker 1 (03:49):
I was a freshman in high school and I was
taking a quiz in algebra class.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Oh, wow. And all the tea I had finished early.
So I just had my head down. I was vibing.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
And the teachers, like he got pulled into the hallway.
Then there was five teachers in the hallway and they're
all just kind of talking in a circle and they
were out there for a minute. They came back in
and our teacher told us what happened.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Like just told you what?
Speaker 1 (04:14):
He's just kind of like, hey, we're not sure what's
going on, but a plane just hit. the towers in
New York and we're all kind of like, okay. Um,
so we kind of like, they made an announcement, but
we kind of went on with our day, but none
of the teachers were teaching.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
They had, we had TVs in each of the rooms and, uh,
that's what I would do. I wanted to, but they
weren't connected to anything. It was for like the local
channel for, uh, uh, high school, um, shout out proviso West. Um,
but they, we took antennas, uh, Uh, and our, we
took hangers and, uh, put them on the antenna so
that we could see what was happening. And the teacher's
(04:52):
just like, I'm not watch, you know, whatever you got
to deal with.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Um, the country is quite literally under attack, which is
not something we're used to.
Speaker 3 (04:59):
That's not normal.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
The thing that got me was my dad was working
in DC at the time.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
Um, and.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
No cell phone. Yeah. No, nothing.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
So I really had to wait till I got home
from school to get in touch with him over what
was going on.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Well, and DC was a target, obviously.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:17):
Cause the Pentagon hit.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
And you know, I, I hadn't visited him at his
new place yet, so I didn't know where he lived,
where he worked, how.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
All that was affected. So my brain was spinning a
little bit that day.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
But, yeah, if you want to share with us, 844-955-9550,
where you were when 9-11 happened.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
Mark Morrison on YouTube says, I was working for a
surveying company. We had the radio playing that morning on
the site. When it started, we did not get any
more work done that day. Everybody was just glued to
the radio sitting around listening.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
That's crazy. Mm-hmm.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
708 here on the text says, I was a junior
at Illinois State University. I was working on campus after
all those discovered classes were canceled for three days. News
outlets online were jammed, as I recall, bad memories.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
This is Chris from South Elgin.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
And it's just, you know, 25 years have passed, and,
you know, it's still a moment where we have to
take time and really remember what happened and send our
condolences to those families because they're still– dealing with a lot.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
Yeah, crazy.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
I mean, I have this right in front of me here.
It says in 2001, 25 years ago at 846 a.m.
and 903 a.m., two hijacked planes were crashed into the
World Trade Center. Two other suicide flights crashed at the
Pentagon and in the woods in Pennsylvania. Have you ever
seen the movie United 93? It was one.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
Awesome movie. I didn't want to watch it.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
It's it's it is tough for that reason, but it's
really an incredible film because the the seeing the people
realize on the plane that they're like, oh, we have
to do something and then having the courage to actually
storm that cockpit and do it.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
And that's huge. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
But of course the movie ends tragically. It doesn't tragically.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
It's just, I didn't, for me, I didn't want to
be in that moment as you know, you knew what
was going to happen. But yes, today we'll be keeping
our thoughts and prayers with the 25th anniversary of 9-11.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Yeah, absolutely.
Speaker 4 (07:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
You know, there's two reasons I'm excited to talk sports today.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Why is that?
Speaker 2 (07:17):
One, because there's incredible games going on. Sports is going
crazy right now. And two, because as of yesterday, after
we watched that new Sydney Sweeney commercial, we now have
a new sports intro.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
Yes, we do.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
Sports.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
Sports.
Speaker 5 (07:30):
Sports.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
Sports.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
Sports.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
Sports. Sports.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
Sports.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
I got so distracted I forgot to get the music
bed ready.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
That's okay. That's my fault. Here we go.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Cubs did not play yesterday. Nothing happened. They are back
in action today against the Pirates at Wrigley. That will
be interesting, I think.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
I think the Cubs got to get it.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
They actually both teams, Sox and Cubs, have to play
ready for the playoffs. You need that momentum going into
the playoffs. You're not just going to wake up and
be ready to play great baseball. They need to win
out the rest of the season.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
And they're not. The Cubs just swept in Milwaukee. The
Sox just swept at right field by the Pirates. Also,
a big brawl out in that game. Did you see
the elbow? I think it was a Sox player off
top of my head. Sliding into second base, popped up
and elbowed the Pirates player in the ribs.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
Benches cleared, the whole nine yards, nothing really broke out.
But I was like, boy, that's contentious out there at
right field.
Speaker 1 (08:31):
Yeah, Sox got to get focused. Guardians are one and
a half games back now.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
That's... The Sox almost have more to lose than the
Cubs right now because Cubs are just wild card.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
They're going to beat the wild card.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
Sox could lose first place if they don't get it together.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
And that's a big, that's going to be big.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Huge problem.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
Hopefully they get that together.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Anyway, it's the football season.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
Yes uh bears playing in carolina for their opening to
the nfl season we're going to be talking to a
gentleman from carolina at one of our sister stations a
little bit later in the show get a complete breakdown
on that if you didn't see thursday night football 49ers
won i think a lot of people were surprised by
that 27 to 7 rock purdy looked amazing uh.
Speaker 4 (09:17):
Man.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
Interesting.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
It's such a good story there.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
And I love that he's still playing well, but he's
got Debo and Mike Evans over there.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
And I think he's going to be fine.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
If the 49ers can be healthy, they will continue to
be a dangerous team.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
And the Rams, they're going to be the Rams.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
As a lions fan. Oh, is it nice to watch
Matthew Stafford fall on his face? I would be cheering
against him. Screw you, Stafford.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
I don't root against Matthew Stafford like that unless he's
playing the Lions. I still appreciate everything that he did
for the team and the city.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
He got shut down last night.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
He did.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
But I think he's going to be fine.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
Do you think much of that had to do with the.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
Traveling?
Speaker 1 (10:01):
I do think so, because that's where I was going next.
The Rams won that battle. The Rams spent almost a
week in Melbourne.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
Oh, no, 49ers. Thank you.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
The 49ers spent almost a week in Melbourne getting acclimated
to the time zone changes.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
The Rams basically flew in a day before.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
And just stayed on L.A.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
Time. They just stayed on L.A. time.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
And there's still going to be a lot of work
figuring out if that's the strategy to go with. But
49ers win, so they win that battle as well.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
That stadium they were in, did I see it holds 100,000 people?
Speaker 4 (10:33):
100,000 people.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
It's a cricket stadium.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
That is cricket. Is cricket that big?
Speaker 3 (10:39):
Excuse me?
Speaker 2 (10:39):
Well, I mean, how are we not playing cricket in
the U.S. if there's 100,000 people filling stadiums?
Speaker 3 (10:43):
Because we've got baseball. Baseball.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
I know, but I want to bet on more things.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
I mean, cricket's starting to pop around. Oh, and before
we hit the break, college football this weekend. U of
I is hosting Duke at home. Northwestern is off. But
next weekend, Northwestern will be opening that beautiful new stadium
up there. State of the art stadium in Evanston. That
is coming up next weekend. Also on the way, we
got rock news.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
Let's do it.
Speaker 3 (11:08):
Real quick.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
Joshua Burke in the Facebook chat says you guys should
do flamethrowers over chainsaws one day.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Hey, that'd be awesome.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
We are giving away tools for cutting down trees and bushes.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
Although the alliteration is great. Yes. Free flamethrower Friday. All right.
Let's do this. Rock 95, five Chicago's rock station. We
are the morning mosh pit. My name is Michael Maris,
a man after my own heart.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
Steelers. Let's see.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
What is your wide receiver? Yes. DK Metcalf believes Antarctica
has civilization inside earth. This is interesting. In an interview
with The Athletic, Metcalfe declared that Antarctica is, quote, another world. Furthermore,
the 28-year-old stated that he thinks, quote, there is another
civilization inside of Earth and that while Aaron Rodgers did
(11:55):
not influence him to start buying into conspiracy theories, the
two teammates can bond over it. Metcalf raised questions of
why leaders from each country go down to Antarctica for
a summit and why he can't fly in there. He said, quote,
why is there a secret meeting? Well, it's not secret,
but why is there a meeting between every world leader
(12:15):
in every country and in Antarctica specifically? And I can't go.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
What meeting is he talking about? I don't know.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
I didn't even know there was like some secret.
Speaker 3 (12:24):
Exactly. Exactly. You know, I love a good.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
Athletes take on something new, especially when it's so obscure,
nobody would have said.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Anything about it.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
Well, and then I saw some other player said something
in a press conference about it too. He was asking,
he was like, what about Antarctica?
Speaker 1 (12:45):
I think, I think he was, uh, referencing that Antarctica
was the edge of the world.
Speaker 4 (12:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
As some have said before, if the earth was flat, right.
Which of course it is.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
We know. Okay. Hold on.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
I will, I will get you a globe later.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
Actually, we'll do a science experiment.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
Um, Yeah, I am very concerned sometimes when athletes have
too much time. They get to go down all these
rabbit holes and talk to God knows who.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
Planted this seed in DK Metcalf.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
Well, I just Googled and found instantly a lot of
stuff about Antarctica.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
Here's a theory for you.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
Antarctica is surrounded by a massive ice wall.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Yep. That was the one the other football player was
talking about.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
Yeah, that's kind of interesting. They say early mathematicians knew
the Earth was a globe rather than a flat disk
and deduce the fact that great the great continental land
masses of the northern hemisphere must be balanced by an
equally large continent in the south.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
No, that's not how that works. Yeah, here's another one.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
There are secret Nazi bases in Antarctica.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
Guys, come on.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
I don't know anything about this.
Speaker 3 (13:47):
This is crazy.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
The first of these was the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938,
which was the first to carry out aerial surveys of
Queen Maudland east of the Weddell Sea. The Germans were
keen to thwart Norwegian territorial claims to the area. Sorry,
territorial claims to the area. So the expedition was instructed
to drop markers from their planes back up. To back
up their claim. So that's another one that's a little silly.
(14:10):
And then the last one here, that there's a secret
world hidden inside Antarctica. You know, I want to go
see this world.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
You know what?
Speaker 2 (14:16):
If DK Metcalf says it, it must be true.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
You know what else you need to... No, I'm not
going to do that.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
I won't.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
Maybe he could chase down that. You remember that video
of DK Metcalf chasing.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
That guy down? DK has more than enough money.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
He could get an excursion to go to Antarctica and
go see this himself.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
Probably not going to do it, which is fine.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
You just keep chirping about the secret society that is
below the frozen tundra of Antarctica.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
What is he even talking about? He just typed it in. Yes,
you can visit Antarctica by booking an expedition cruise or
fly-in cruise.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
It's a tourism.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
During the southern summer months between November and March. But see,
they open the doors to the hidden. world uh outside
of those months probably michael that's the secret don't don't
don't i like conspiracy.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
Theories you know what take us on your conspiracy if
pit happens.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Next oh we're going out we're gonna have some fun
this weekend we gotta not get kicked out though all
right it happens is on the way next now here's
the bit only plug with mares.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
Oh i'm sorry that was very nice michael plug it
There we go.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
844-955-9550.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
It's time for Pit Happens. This is a lovely game
where we put you in a pituation and your goal
is not to get kicked out, tossed out, thrown out,
or bounced out by security.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
Up for grabs, Iron Maiden tickets.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
They'll be at Craig Union One Amphitheater on Tuesday, September 22nd.
Speaker 3 (15:38):
And we want you to be there.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
As such, we've just been rotating between Michael and myself,
and Michael is pit master today.
Speaker 3 (15:44):
Where are we going, Mikey?
Speaker 2 (15:46):
We're going to Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte for
the Bears-Panthers game.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
A little football pit happens. Who could have seen this coming?
So if you want to participate and play and win, 844-955-9550. Michael,
what's that number?
Speaker 4 (15:59):
844-955-95.
Speaker 3 (15:59):
Bear down.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
Bear down.
Speaker 3 (16:05):
Rock 95.5.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
Are we speaking with.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
Dale from Lake in the Hills?
Speaker 2 (16:11):
Yes, you are.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
What up, Dale? How are we doing today? Good.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
Good.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
Glad to hear it. Thanks for joining us in Pit
Happens today.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
This is our lovely game where you get stuck in
a pituation, and our goal, or your goal, is not
to get kicked out, tossed out, thrown out, or bounced
out by security. We got Iron Maiden tickets up for grabs,
and Michael... You are our pit master.
Speaker 3 (16:32):
Are you ready? Yeah, I'm ready.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
The only thing I can think is... Bandale! Rescue Rangers!
Speaker 3 (16:39):
Okay, all right, Dan. Let's do this. You've never heard
that before, I'm sure.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. We are there and
we are geared out in our Bears rivalry gear.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
I'm not, but I'm there, President.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
In the story, Maris is a Bears fan. Not a
Lions fan. Uh, he has the most rivalry here on though.
He's got, he and I have the jerseys. Uh, Maria's there.
She says she's all decked out little hoodie and Dale.
This actually happened to me in Minnesota. One time, uh, uh,
a fan of the opposing team, a Carolina fan is
(17:14):
sitting behind us and gets up to go get beer.
We don't think much of it, but when he's coming
back with the beers in his hand, He accidentally dumps
one down Maris' back. Now, when I say accidentally, when
beers are $ 20, I don't think it's an accident.
Speaker 4 (17:33):
No, no.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
I think they're trying to cause problems.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
That sounds about right.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
Needless to say, because Maris is my boy, I stand up.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
And I pull back to throw a punch.
Speaker 4 (17:43):
Uh-oh.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
Maris grabs my arm, and that's the situation we're in.
Everybody's ready to go.
Speaker 4 (17:49):
Dale.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
And Chip, how are you getting us out of this?
I'm going to grab the other beers from his hands,
dump one over his head, give one to each of you.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
There we go. Okay.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
All right.
Speaker 3 (18:01):
Spreading the wealth on the beers.
Speaker 4 (18:03):
Melee.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
All right.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
That's a 19.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
That's a 19 out of 20. Wow, it actually works.
Security sees it from a weird angle, and it looks
like they started the whole thing, which they did. They're
trying to claim it was an accident. We all know
it wasn't. Dale, you saved the day, my friend, and
you win.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
Yes, my man.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
You got the tickets to see Iron Maiden over at
Credit Union 1 Amphitheater. That's coming up on September 22nd.
Any ideas on who you want to take with you.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
To this one?
Speaker 4 (18:35):
Maybe my son.
Speaker 2 (18:36):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
Shout out your son. What's his name?
Speaker 2 (18:40):
His name is Zach.
Speaker 3 (18:41):
Zach.
Speaker 4 (18:42):
My man.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
You better say yes when your dad asks you about
these Iron Maiden tickets. It's going to be a great
show on September 22nd over at Creighton U1 Amphitheater. Everybody,
go get your tickets at Ticketmaster.com. All thanks to our
friends at Live Nation. Live Nation. Metallica on Rock 95.5.
We are the Morning Mosh Pit. One member down, only
(19:04):
for a few more days. Maria will be back next week,
but unfortunately, I'll be going on vacation as Maria comes back. Uh,
but craziness happening in a podcast, podcast space. Um, Aaron
Rogers has been allowed to talk to people and sometimes it's,
it's golden.
Speaker 3 (19:23):
And sometimes it's like, bro, what are we talking about?
Speaker 1 (19:25):
Uh, went on a complete rant, um, in a, in
a podcast and, um, talked about being engaged.
Speaker 3 (19:31):
And I think he's a very bitter man. She tells me, you.
Speaker 5 (19:35):
Know, before you get married, I gotta go this guy.
And I'm like, cause her story is that I ruined
her life and gave her a crazy depression because I
left her. But the actuality is she told me that,
and then she took off the ring by March.
Speaker 1 (19:48):
For whatever reason, this podcast group asked Aaron Rodgers about
his previous relationships with Danica Patrick.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
And Shailene Woodley.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
And he did have nice things to say about Danica,
and I was kind of surprised.
Speaker 3 (20:01):
I thought they were kismet.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
Also, Danica's a pretty accomplished athlete. I mean, she never
really won much, but she raced in NASCAR for a
long time, yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
And hearing this as the reaction to an engagement that...
Wasn't immediately called off afterwards. It doesn't sound like it's weird.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
Here's the thing. Everybody always has stories afterwards.
Speaker 4 (20:23):
Right.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
But it is weird if that was a thing where
she was like, do you marry me? And she's like, yeah,
but real quick, I got to go see this guy.
I got to get this out of my system real quick.
I think that's a red. I mean, I would be like,
all right, fine. Yeah, it would have been complete at
that point.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
And I don't know.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
So why are you talking? Just stop talking about it.
Talk about sports. You don't have to say horrible things
all the time.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
I don't know if you've noticed this.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
At all.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
Aaron Rodgers loves attention.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
And he finds very obscure ways to get said attention.
Winning games not being one of them currently.
Speaker 2 (20:58):
Yeah. I forget he's playing for the Steelers again this year.
He's back with the Steelers. Well, we keep saying that,
don't we? This is his last year. Going to be
his last year.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
Other things that Aaron Rodgers likes is money.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
Yeah, true.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
And there's going to be an NFL team that thinks
he's still got it in him to win a game
or get him to a Super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (21:16):
He's not Tom Brady.
Speaker 4 (21:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:18):
And to be perfectly honest, I think he's only got
one Super Bowl win with Green Bay.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
I'm sure if it's more than that, we'll hear from
Green Bay fans. By the way, to be fair to
everyone in this, both of those women have talked crap
about him for years. In 2024, Shailene brought up an unspecified, quote,
really awful traumatic incident that occurred in 2022 where she
claims she lost her soul.
Speaker 4 (21:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:46):
And then Danica Patrick has said some not so nice
things as well. So I hate it when people do this.
They didn't need to be together in the first place.
Speaker 5 (21:54):
Shut up.
Speaker 3 (21:54):
So, yeah, shut up.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Play football.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
But also, yeah, keep putting Aaron Rodgers on podcast. I
love this.
Speaker 3 (22:02):
It's time to dark out. Oh, my goodness.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
Just shout out to Nintendo for doing what we want
and listening to fans.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
Go Donkey Kong.
Speaker 1 (22:12):
Xbox kind of got it right with their cloud gaming system,
or they got us excited at least that you can
digitize your physical games and you have access to them.
They then are allowing access to cloud gaming, which is
a very nice streamlined system. If you upload a game
to your cloud gaming system, you can play on your
Xbox console, your phone, your PC, or your TV.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
That's cool. Here's the catch. Okay. It's going to cost money. Hours.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
You have to buy plans, monthly plans, by the hour
for the specific cloud gaming system. And it comes in
at 5 hours, 10 hours, and 15 hours.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
What's the cost, does it say?
Speaker 3 (22:52):
I don't have the cost right in front of me. Michael,
as you have returned to gaming.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
Yeah, yeah, I'm having a blast. This week, how many
hours would you say you have gamed?
Speaker 2 (23:02):
Probably two a day. Maybe, yeah, two a day.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
Two a day. For seven days?
Speaker 4 (23:06):
Ten days.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
Well, let's say the last five days, we'll say two
a day for five days.
Speaker 3 (23:10):
That's ten hours.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
That immediately makes you out of cloud gaming storage on
their premium plan. I want to know who came up
with these hours. Five hours could be one day of
gaming for some people. That is absolutely wild that they
would think this is how this system works. Now, here's
the kicker on the end of this. If you exceed
(23:33):
your cloud gaming subscription that you have for that month,
they will just charge you with extra time.
Speaker 4 (23:39):
Oh, great.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
So they'll just keep charging me.
Speaker 4 (23:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
So I don't like this at all.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
I don't either.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Why do I need to play on a cloud?
Speaker 3 (23:44):
If you say.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
You're in the middle of a big mission and you
got to go somewhere, you can take it on your
phone or you can take it on your rogue and
keep playing.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
Why don't you just get a Switch and just take
it with you on the Switch?
Speaker 3 (23:54):
No, you can't. That's what they're saying.
Speaker 1 (23:56):
That game is available for you to go from Xbox
to Rogue.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
To your phone. I see what you're saying. That's why.
Speaker 3 (24:04):
This is the subscription you're playing.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
See, I don't even get that crazy. Someone asked me
the other day, somebody who's YouTube chat, they said, hey,
I want to play Mario Kart with you online. Are
you online? I haven't even put my Switch online. I
just play the games myself and with my girlfriend. Oh.
Does that cost money?
Speaker 3 (24:19):
Yeah. If you have the.
The retro consoles on your Switch 2, you have online.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
Oh, cool.
Speaker 3 (24:27):
I'll send you my code.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
Oh, great.
Speaker 4 (24:28):
Yeah, let's play.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
I don't know why I haven't already.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
Fun? Oh, my God.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
I can play with people online?
Speaker 3 (24:31):
That's fun. Yeah, it's wild.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
It's absolutely wild. Gaming from someone who didn't game for
about 20 years and came back to it, so much
better now.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
It's incredible. It's glorious.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
Get a Switch 2.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
It's really fun. You'll never regret it. I got to
get some gaming time in after work today.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
And also, I will wrap this up. I'm getting eaten
alive in the YouTube chat.
Speaker 3 (24:51):
Oh, Mikey. Oh, honey.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
I'm going to be purchasing GTA 6 when it comes out.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
You're not waiting?
Speaker 3 (24:57):
I'm not going to wait.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
Because you were going to wait until what? April?
Speaker 3 (24:59):
Easter. Yeah. I'm going to get it for the content.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
Why? What's your reasoning now? What made you switch?
Speaker 3 (25:06):
I was talking to some other gamers, and they're like, Marist,
don't do that. Just don't. You're going to be mad
if you do.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Because all we're going to be doing is everyone else
is going to be playing and having fun, and you're
going to be sitting there until the Easter Bunny shows up. Right.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
So, basically, I've got to finish four games in the
next six weeks.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
Actually, eight weeks. So, we'll see how that goes. More importantly...
We got to get ready to talk about video games
leading to divorces.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
Yeah, this is crazy. A leading divorce attorney says the
number one thing that ruins marriages that he sees, he's
been a divorce attorney for more than 5,000 divorces, is
video game play.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
That's wild, but I can't wait to talk about it.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
A Utah divorce attorney says that video gaming is destroying marriages.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
Hogwash.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
He's been the attorney for more than 5,000 divorce cases.
And he says video games are the number one leading
cause of failed marriages he sees.
Speaker 3 (26:03):
That's interesting.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
I have friends who do. Do this. Like, I have
a few friends who are women whose husbands and boyfriends
game like we're talking like six, seven hours a day.
You know, they do the thing. They come home from
work and they're.
Speaker 3 (26:16):
Up all night. I want to know where they get
all that extra time.
Speaker 4 (26:19):
Right.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
I always wonder because I think like relationships take a
lot of work. And if you're sort of that disconnected
for long periods of time, maybe it makes a relationship
better for I mean, this guy's not saying that, but.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
It's interesting.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
As you brought this up, I was thinking about my
gamer friends who are married, and I have gamer friends
who game with their wives.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
See, that sounds awesome.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
They game with their wives, and they teach their kids
to game, but then stuff's being handled. We're not just
all chalking it up to, I got to game 10 hours.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
Bye.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
I'm not going to help you with anything. It's almost like,
even for myself right now, gaming's a reward. That means
my work is done. I've done some chores around the house.
I fed myself, you know? I'm keeping myself alive, so
I'm treating it as that. And if there was that
level of neglect with video games, it's just video games
was that extra thing in the life.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
Yeah, and everybody has an escape that they take, right?
Speaker 3 (27:12):
Yes, and I would imagine... Better than heroin. Yes, better
than heroin.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
I mean, I'm joking, but yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
If they're going to those levels to be so avoidant
within the relationship, it's not the video games. That's the outlet.
They would have found that outlet somewhere else, whether it
be a softball league, a drinking league, whatever, something else
that was on the outside of the marriage.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
So rocks in the YouTube chat says my fiance was
a gamer. She preferred games to flowers. She was the best.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
Sounds amazing.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
Is she not the best anymore? Is she still your fiance?
Speaker 1 (27:45):
Yeah, you can do that correlation there, but I'd also
say that those men chose gaming for a specific reason.
Speaker 2 (27:53):
This lawyer, his name is Marco Brown, he claims that
he numerous divorce cases tied to excessive gaming, often citing
husbands neglecting child care, household duties, and other things during
long play sessions. The claim adds to the broader ongoing
conversation about video game addiction. I didn't even think about
the video game addiction.
Speaker 5 (28:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
In what way?
Speaker 2 (28:14):
Because it's not again, it's not like.
Speaker 1 (28:16):
You're immersing yourself in a whole other world. OK, it
becomes another outlet. You're building a character. You're giving that
character a story. You're giving them life. There's been situations
in some games. Um, you can't, if you're playing with
specific people on a regular basis, you create relationships with
them and it's not just a friendship. It can become
more than a friendship in that manner. And that's where
(28:38):
you have to really balance what is real life and
what is fantasy. Uh, I just, I would wonder why
all those guys are choosing to escape like that to
just get away from the marriage.
Speaker 2 (28:50):
Well, it does seem like addiction becomes addiction when you're
doing something that's ruining your life. So if your marriage
is falling apart and your kids hate you and you're
not spending any time, a lot of gamers, too. And
this is I'm saying this, not stereotyping. I'm saying this
because my friends do this. They drink when they game.
They sip whiskey. They have beer. So now you're compounding
(29:12):
different things, right?
Speaker 3 (29:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (29:14):
At any rate, he goes on and says the claim
has a broader ongoing conversation about the video game addiction
following lawsuits against companies like Activision, Blizzard, Nintendo, and even
Valve over loot boxes.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
I don't know what a loot box is. It's just
prizes you can buy in a game. Okay. 844-955-9550.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
How do you feel about this story? Do you think
it's got legs? Have you seen this situation before?
Speaker 4 (29:34):
No.
Speaker 2 (29:35):
Nick Braun on YouTube says he met his ex 17
years ago in America.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
Video game. That's kind of cool. And I'll put it
like this. There's going to be good and bad. Yeah,
there's going to be good and bad. And I would
love to that situation for you. But it seems like
in those situations where the divorce happened because of the
video game, the spouse didn't understand that. how much their
spouse like to play games. But we want to hear
(30:02):
from you.
Speaker 3 (30:03):
844-955-9550.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
What do you think about video games being a lead
cause for divorce?
Speaker 2 (30:08):
Five-ish things you almost certainly need to know. It's a
hell of a community service.
Speaker 3 (30:14):
I'll tell you that much.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
844-955-9550.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
I got a pair of tickets for you to go
to the 30th annual T-Box. 12 bars of Christmas over
in Wrigleyville.
Speaker 3 (30:26):
It's going to be December 13th. Everything kicking off at
the Cubby Bear.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
All, or I won't say all, proceeds are going to
help out some great charities within Chicago. They've been doing
this since 1996, and you need to get in on
the fun.
Speaker 4 (30:39):
844-955-9550.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
Be caller 10. Walmart has recalled frozen mixed berries.
Speaker 3 (30:47):
Oh, my God. Can we stop with this?
Speaker 2 (30:50):
What is it with all the recalls?
Speaker 3 (30:52):
I feel like I'm going to have to grill everything
that I eat just to make sure.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
I've been dipping in bleach.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
It's already affected 17 people in two states beyond the lookout.
Speaker 3 (31:03):
If you have. GreenWise labels for your Walmart mixed berries.
Speaker 2 (31:08):
GreenWise, that's the brand?
Speaker 4 (31:09):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (31:11):
You can now smell like candy corn for the holidays
if you really want to get into the fall spirit
and you think candy corn smells good.
Speaker 3 (31:18):
You're disgusting.
Speaker 2 (31:19):
What does that smell?
Speaker 3 (31:20):
But you can also get a $ 22 eau de parfum.
Speaker 1 (31:25):
Uh blends creamy vanilla sponge sugar and honey actually that
sounds sexy as hell that's that actually okay you.
Speaker 3 (31:36):
Win i'm not gonna wear it but if somebody was.
Speaker 2 (31:38):
Wearing it you'd get hungry for.
Speaker 1 (31:41):
Candy yes sir um that'll be available uh online uh
september 22nd through the 1st There is a $ 38 sandwich
taking over the U.S.
Speaker 4 (31:52):
Open.
Speaker 1 (31:52):
It's got prime rib, onions, aioli, and provolone. It comes
from Salt Hank. It's very viral, and that sounds pretty good.
There's a 20-minute line wait, though, so you're going to
miss some tennis if you're going to try and get that.
Speaker 3 (32:07):
Michael, you will love this.
Speaker 4 (32:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
Ufo researchers believe they have found an alien base at
the ocean floor uh there's been a giant megalith structure
that has been found on the ocean floor and they
immediately went to say it's aliens.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
Well you've seen the alien spaceships the videos of them
going in and out of the ocean.
Speaker 1 (32:26):
No oh you haven't you haven't seen i'll show you
later okay thank you michael for uh helping me with
all things conspiracy theory a.
Speaker 4 (32:33):
Little blurry.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
I swear they're real, though.
Speaker 1 (32:38):
Okay, let's speak with Eugene from Gary, Indiana. How you doing, Eugene?
Speaker 4 (32:47):
You know what? Is this a game I'm going to play?
Speaker 3 (32:51):
No, you just won straight up. You're going to tee box,
my man.
Speaker 2 (32:56):
Ah, fantastic.
Speaker 1 (32:57):
Yes, you're going to take in this beautiful Christmas bar crawl.
You can dress up as Santa, an elf, a reindeer,
whatever you want to do. It's all happening in Wrigleyville
for their 30th anniversary. We've been going on since 1996.
Everything kicks off at the Cubby Bear. Now, Eugene, you've
got a drinking partner you can take with you on
(33:18):
this one.
Speaker 4 (33:21):
Yes, I most certainly do.
Speaker 3 (33:22):
All right.
Speaker 2 (33:23):
Crossman in the YouTube chat says Atlantis was basically a
giant spaceship for real.
Speaker 1 (33:27):
Okay, let's focus. Eugene, congratulations. You got the tickets to T-Box.
You enjoy yourself. Everybody else, go get your tickets at tbox.org. Michael,
come here.
Speaker 2 (33:38):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (33:38):
Come here. Okay. We are not going to keep talking
about conspiracy theories the rest of the day. We got
it done earlier.
Speaker 4 (33:45):
Jesus.
Speaker 2 (33:47):
I love them.
Speaker 3 (33:48):
I know you do.
Speaker 2 (33:51):
One of my favorite times of the week. Let's go
and find out what's going on around town this weekend.
Chicago's so fun because there's always fun stuff.
Speaker 3 (34:00):
Too much fun stuff.
Speaker 2 (34:01):
Yeah, this might not be that fun. Cubs are playing
the Pirates at Wrigley, so there's that.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
You need to pick the side of your team doing
good to get to the playoffs. I know they're not
showing you, but it's probably because you're not rooting for
them properly right now.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
Well, I'm a little disappointed. We just got swept by
the Brewers. I don't think our pitching is going to
be able to go anywhere. Anyway, I'm hoping. I'm hoping
for the best, but it is football season and hockey
season right around the corner, too.
Speaker 4 (34:25):
Yes, sir.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
All right, going on this weekend. Tonight, Eric Clapton at
the United Center. First Chicago date in four years.
Speaker 4 (34:31):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (34:31):
Let's see some Eric Clapton. Yacht Rock review at the
Salt Shed tonight. Go out and have some cold beers
and enjoy some yacht rock. We gave a bunch of
tickets away to this show. Black Label Society playing tonight
at the Aragon Ballroom.
Speaker 3 (34:42):
That's going to be amazing.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
Let's see here. Robin, R-O-B-Y-N at the United Center.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
I don't know who that is. I don't know who
that is either.
Speaker 2 (34:48):
Chief Keef at Huntington Bank Pavilion. Oh, my God. Garth
Brooks is in town.
Speaker 3 (34:52):
That's funny.
Speaker 2 (34:53):
Where's the bodies, Garth? uh garth brooks at the all-state
arena in rosemont uh careful if you're out in rosemont
rumors abound keep moving skrillex at navy pier's festival hall
skrillex was doing a sound check yesterday and people who
are out at navy pier were just like oh there's
music over here walk over it's just him just mixing
(35:14):
that's kind of cool that'd be a fun little thing
to walk up on But yeah, you can see Skrillex
tonight and tomorrow night. Garth Brooks again Friday and Saturday
night at Allstate. And then, oh my God, Pitbull and
Lil Jon at Credit Union 1 in Tinley Park.
Speaker 3 (35:26):
That's a throwback right there.
Speaker 2 (35:27):

Speaker 2 (36:49):
Seems like a fun day.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
Look at you.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
Long day, but a fun day.
Speaker 1 (36:52):
We're going to make somebody's day next with Fun to
the Head, an opportunity to win three-day passes to Riot Fest,
our last of the week.
Speaker 3 (37:00):
So be listening for that cue to call for Fun
to the Head.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
Now, here's a bid-only plug with Maris.
Speaker 1 (37:07):
Plug it.
Speaker 4 (37:08):
844-955-9550.
Speaker 3 (37:08):
It's time for Fun to the Head.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
You're going to answer some questions.
Speaker 3 (37:15):
We're going to get shot with Nerf darts.
Speaker 1 (37:16):
And you get a save when you take one of
us hostages. We can answer the question for you. Only
two options, Michael and myself. So it's an easy decision.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
And, man, do I want these tickets.
Speaker 2 (37:30):
The Riot Fest. We're so close. I'm going to see.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
Tool next week. Next week, September 18th, 19th, and 20th.
I'm not going to be here, unfortunately. Planned a vacation, but.
You get to go when you're a caller. 21 Pilots,
Iggy Pop, Rise Against Alkaline Trio on Friday.
Speaker 2 (37:50):
Show of the year.
Speaker 3 (37:51):
Saturday, Tool, Morrissey.
Speaker 1 (37:53):
You got Nas, Bad Religion, The Descendants, Go Go Bordello.
Speaker 2 (37:58):
Pennywise is going to be there.
Speaker 3 (38:00):
Pennywise, yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:02):
Sunday, Pierce the Veil, Alanis Morissette, The Format, Taking Back Sunday,
Insane Clown Posse. Like the list just goes on. I
just saw what Bryce is in the middle of this too.
Speaker 2 (38:14):
Maris booked his vacation before the list came out. It
just happened to be that weekend. Dude, I feel so bad.
Speaker 1 (38:19):
I'm most upset that I'm not going to get to
see the paradox, but let's bring in Marshall from Yorkville.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
Marshall, how you doing today?
Speaker 2 (38:29):
Oh, I'm doing good. I hope I'm going to be
doing better.
Speaker 3 (38:33):
We hope to make your day a little bit better.
Speaker 1 (38:35):
Thank you for joining us for Fun to the Head.
As we mentioned, this is the trivia game where you
answer questions, we get shot with Nerf darts, and you
can take one of us hostages to provide you a save.
Speaker 3 (38:46):
If you need a little help.
Speaker 1 (38:48):
Now, you do have to decide who do you want
to take hostage, myself or Michael?
Speaker 4 (38:53):
Ooh, I think I will take Michael.
Speaker 3 (38:58):
Okay. All right. You got a gun for me there, Michael?
There you go, sir.
Speaker 4 (39:03):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (39:03):
I'll give you a gun to shoot me with.
Speaker 3 (39:05):
Yes, sir. All right. Let's get into it.
Speaker 2 (39:09):
Remember, you get a save if you need it.
Speaker 3 (39:12):
Question one. Actually, I need this in the other hand.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (39:17):
On The Office, what fictional paper company employs Michael Scott
and his Scranton crew?
Speaker 2 (39:24):
Nice.
Speaker 4 (39:25):
That would be Dunder Mifflin.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
With the confidence.
Speaker 3 (39:29):
Heck yeah. We can't trick Marshall today. All right. Number two.
Speaker 1 (39:34):
In golf, what club is most commonly used once the
ball reaches the green?
Speaker 4 (39:42):
That would be the putter.
Speaker 3 (39:43):
Oh, my goodness, Marshall.
Speaker 2 (39:45):
I can smell Riot Fest from here.
Speaker 3 (39:46):
Marshall, are you cheating? No, no, no, no.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
I work at a golf course.
Speaker 4 (39:52):
And who hasn't seen The Office?
Speaker 3 (39:53):
That's true. That's true.
Speaker 4 (39:55):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (39:55):
One more, and you've got the tickets to Riot Fest.
What car brand did Doc Brown turn into a time
machine in Back to the Future?
Speaker 2 (40:07):
That would be DMC DeLorean. Wow! Even with the bonus!
Speaker 3 (40:12):
Marshall!
Speaker 2 (40:13):
We're going to Riot Fest! Are you trying to impress
us over here?
Speaker 1 (40:18):
Wow!
Speaker 3 (40:18):
Three for three! My man!
Speaker 2 (40:20):
Hey, who are you most excited to see at Riot Fest?
Speaker 4 (40:24):
Oh, I think school just because I've never.
Speaker 2 (40:27):
Seen one before. Oh, you're in for a freaking treat, buddy.
Speaker 3 (40:29):
Can you tell? I'm kicking myself.
Speaker 2 (40:34):
I'll send you a video.
Speaker 3 (40:35):
No, don't send me nothing.
Speaker 4 (40:37):
Don't.
Speaker 3 (40:37):
I want to.
Speaker 1 (40:40):
Marshall, if you send me videos, I will accept them.
I just want to wallow in all of my stupidity.
You didn't know, to be fair.
Speaker 3 (40:48):
I know I didn't know.
Speaker 2 (40:49):
But you did plan it right in that month.
Speaker 4 (40:50):
Yeah, I did.
Speaker 1 (40:52):
But Marshall, you're all set, my man. You're about to
make somebody else really happy.
Speaker 3 (40:56):
Who are you taking with you to Riot Fest?
Speaker 1 (40:59):
Oh, I'm going to take my wife and child.
Speaker 2 (41:01):
This will be our sixth year in a row. Wow,
how cool.
Speaker 3 (41:05):
That's awesome.
Speaker 1 (41:06):
That's amazing. So that will be an absolutely amazing time. Marshall,
you are all set. If you are still looking to
get tickets, head to riotfest.org. Three-day passes, two-day passes, and
single-day passes available for you to take advantage of. Don't
miss out on this amazingness as we are 95.
Speaker 3 (41:27):
Minutes commercial free on Rock 95.5.
Speaker 1 (41:30):
And on the way, we're going to be talking to
someone who's got some intel about on the Carolina Panthers
as they're taking on the Chicago Bears this weekend.
Speaker 2 (41:38):
Yeah, he's a Panthers fan, and he's in Carolina.
Speaker 3 (41:41):
Oh, my goodness. We'll talk to them next.
Speaker 1 (41:45):
We are the Morning Mosh Pit, 95 minutes commercial free
on Rock 95.5. And we are very excited about football
being back on Sunday. So much so, we're done talking
about the Bears. We got to talk about the Bears
opponent this Saturday. And we brought in our man, E. White,
over there in Carolina. He's on 99.7 The Fox.
Speaker 3 (42:09):
How are you doing, my man?
Speaker 4 (42:11):
Speaker 0 5th, dude. And here's the thing, you know,
I'm doing great. And you want to know why? Because
the Carolina Panthers are living rent free rent free. They
got a penthouse in the brain of bears fans nationwide.
Speaker 3 (42:25):
It's a beautiful thing. It's a beautiful day.
Speaker 4 (42:28):
Here in Charlotte, North Cackalacky. It's going to be even
more beautiful coming up Sunday when your Panthers take on
the Chicago of the bears. Come on, man.
Speaker 3 (42:37):
What are we doing?
Speaker 1 (42:38):
Here's the thing, because it has been a thought in
the back of my brain The Panthers figured out football
at the end of the season last year. Yeah, there
were the division games, right? Bryce was a very solid
quarterback going down the road. And like, how was training
camp looking? Your new players, are they going to be
a threat to the Bears this Sunday? listen, man, I'll
(42:59):
just put it this way. Of course you, you said
it first, right? Bryce young, better known as ice young.
Speaker 4 (43:06):
Water in his veins. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Did your
quarterback have six game winning drives last year? I don't
think so. Did your quarterback at least, I mean, not granted,
they did make it further into the playoffs, but I'm
a reason to let you be here.
Speaker 3 (43:21):
Let me be reasonable.
Speaker 4 (43:22):
Let me back off. Let me, let me back off
the fan gas for a second. Let me be an
analyst for two seconds. So let's talk about it. No,
I mean, listen, post-season off season was fantastic for the
Panthers getting guys like Jalen Phillips, Devin Lloyd for the
first time in a long time. This defense looks really,
really good. JC Horn, Mike Jackson, great tandem at cornerback, obviously.
But listen, I mean, we can't sleep on the offense
(43:45):
in Chicago. I mean, between Caleb and of course, you know,
you've got two headed hydro with Colton Loveland and Cole commit.
I mean, listen, you guys got a hell of a team.
I'll give you credit, but I am noticing plenty on Twitter.
the more and more I see these, these, these bears fans,
you know, tweeting out, it's just like, oh, you know,
it's going to be a cakewalk, Colton Loveland, 10 catches,
a hundred yards. It's like, okay, why don't we, why
(44:07):
don't we pump the.
Speaker 3 (44:07):
Brakes a little bit here?
Speaker 4 (44:08):
You know, cause if we're going to, if we're going
to go ahead and talk so much smack, let me,
let me remind you, right. The Chicago bears, right. Y'all
have been in the, in the NFL, what for like a.
Speaker 3 (44:16):
Hundred years now, we've celebrated over a hundred years.
Speaker 4 (44:19):
So, So curious, how do you feel about the fact
that a team that has been in existence for less
than a quarter of your existence has been to as
many super bowls as you have? How do you feel
about that? Chicago, where do you want your thoughts? I
already know. I already know. And you know what?
Speaker 2 (44:38):
It's fine.
Speaker 4 (44:38):
It's fine. Cause y'all be like Midwest nice style. You know,
you're not going to talk actual smack. You're all, you're
a Midwesterners. You're nice. You, you know, you, you, you, you,
you insult somebody and apologize right after, give them a
hot dish.
Speaker 2 (44:49):
You know, I know how it is. Hey, listen, I
want to point out that we, we stick to facts
here and Caleb Williams had seven. regular season or six
regular season game winning drives and the seventh one against
Green Bay in the playoffs last year.
Speaker 1 (45:02):
I will also back up the fact that the Chicago
Bears and that long, illustrious history before the Carolina Panthers
were even a blip of a thought in anybody's mind
have several championships in that league pre Super Bowl era
because there's history with the Chicago Bears. They are They
(45:23):
are one of the great reasons why the Panthers even
have an opportunity to play in this NFL without those
historic moments.
Speaker 3 (45:32):
What are they going to do? Hey, what are they doing?
Speaker 4 (45:34):
You know what? You know what? Maris, listen, you know,
in a perfect world, in a perfect world, right? I
would love to say that there's a story to history
of the Carolina Panthers and their days in the forties of,
of a bunch of plumbers playing other plumbers. You know,
I would love to look at that history and say.
Speaker 3 (45:50):
Are you jealous? You didn't have everything.
Speaker 1 (45:52):
Athletic plumbers in Carolina to compete against the Chicago bears.
Speaker 3 (45:57):
I hear it in your voice. It's fine.
Speaker 4>
Speaker 4>
Speaker 4 (46:09):
on in your a hundred year history. How, what's it
feel like to finally have.
Speaker 2 (46:12):
A good quarterback for the first time?
Speaker 4 (46:14):
How do you feel about that? You know, making it
to super bowls with Rex Grossman and Jim McMahon, we're
going to act like these guys were studs.
Speaker 1 (46:21):
You're getting stuck on very specifics. semantics here. When you
are the monsters of the.
Speaker 4 (46:26):
Midway, you don't have to have an amazing quarterback when
you have the likes of Walter Payton.
Speaker 3 (46:35):
Sweetness!
Speaker 2 (46:36):
Have you heard of him?
Speaker 1 (46:38):
And then and then and then since you guys don't
have the history, the the the Hall of Fame, we
have players upon players upon players.
Speaker 3 (46:52):
And I think what Carolina might. Well, yeah, I got
three people in the Hall of Fame right now.
Speaker 1 (46:56):
We have more cultural references with the Chicago Bears in
general that you got. We had a whole Saturday Night
Live skit about how amazing the Bears are. But, yeah,
if you want to talk about history because you guys
got to go to a Super Bowl and.
Speaker 3 (47:13):
We have been to two, that's real special. Real special.
Speaker 4 (47:17):
They've actually been the two. No, they've been the two.
You know, the same way that everybody forgets about the
White Sox.
Speaker 3 (47:23):
That's true.
Speaker 4 (47:23):
Yeah, people forget about 03, too.
Speaker 3 (47:24):
It's all good. I understand.
Speaker 1 (47:27):
I still have qualms with ESPN about that entire article.
Speaker 2 (47:31):
I'm seeing a lot of stuff online about Bryce's week
one curse. Is that a thing? Is that something that
they say? Okay. Yeah, tell me about that.
Speaker 4 (47:38):
Okay. You know, listen, Bryce is in this, he's in
the prove.
Speaker 3 (47:42):
A year, right. At this point.
Speaker 4 (47:43):
So for the weeks of the season, it's been tough.
It's been do or die. Right. So, you know, and
then the expectation is there again, this is going to
be his first home opener in week one. So we'll
see what happens there.
Speaker 3 (47:54):
Obviously.
Speaker 4 (47:55):
Listen, man, I, all fun aside, I think it's going
to be a hell of a matchup. I mean, obviously
two great young quarterbacks. It's just a lot of people naturally,
you look back at that trade and I'm just going
to put it this way. I think the pressure is
more on the bears off that trade than it is
for the Panthers because the Panthers, they got Bryce young
and that's it, right? The bears got their entire franchise
(48:16):
from that trade. If y'all don't figure it out, it's
absolute high stakes.
Speaker 1 (48:23):
Are there enough fans to actually attend the game on
Saturday or Sunday? Is that going to be a problem?
Speaker 3 (48:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (48:32):
You know, I think, I think there's going to be
more than when you guys go over the bridge into Indiana.
Speaker 2 (48:37):
All right.
Speaker 4 (48:40):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (48:40):
He's fighting.
Speaker 1 (48:41):
We're going to wrap this up outside of Bryce young.
Who do you think is going to be a big
offensive threat for this young offense that you guys got
over there?
Speaker 2 (48:52):
Oh, bro.
Speaker 4 (48:53):
I mean, you got to go with the obvious Teter O. McMillan, T-Mac,
of course, defending rookie of the year. Dude's an absolute machine.
I know everybody talks about that sophomore slump. I don't
think it's going to happen. This guy can easily go
for a thousand yards yet again. This was receiving core
in general, a lot of youth. I mean, you know,
when you have T-Mac and then Jalen Coker, I think
there's a nice little one-two punch there. I know y'all
(49:14):
got Luther Burden, which I mean, trust me, he's on
my fantasy team. So I'm not going to be upset
with his size score here. and there, but you know,
at the end of the day, you know, it's going
to be a fun offense, funny, a fun dynamic thing.
But I think that defense for Carolina, that's just next level.
Derek Brown, Jalen Phillips, Devin Lloyd, those guys. I mean,
it's a, I think Caleb's going to have a tougher
time than people expect this weekend. that a lot of
(49:34):
analysts are picking you guys to win and I'll give
them credit where credit is due. You guys got one
hell of a team, but don't sleep on Carolina this year.
Speaker 3 (49:40):
That's all I know. It's, it's a early trap game
potentially for me.
Speaker 2 (49:44):
I got a question.
Speaker 3 (49:45):
You know, we did separate eyes. Go ahead.
Speaker 2 (49:47):
Here in Chicago, we say bear down in Carolina. What
do you guys say?
Speaker 4 (49:51):
Oh, I knew this was going to come up and
it's kind of awkward. It's a, it's, it's keep pounding. No,
it's like the same thing as like, no, no, no, no.
You got to understand. So it was originally said by
Sam Mills, legendary Carolina Panther. The only number that's never
worn by any Carolina Panther is 51. It was Sam
Mills's number. And Sam gave a speech in 2003, which
(50:15):
he ended with keep pounding. And then ironically, about a
year later, he passed away of cancer. So before you laugh,
remember that a guy with cancer coined this.
Speaker 1 (50:25):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (50:25):
They really pulled the rug out from under me there.
Speaker 3 (50:28):
Damn it.
Speaker 4 (50:28):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (50:30):
All right. Well, we're all going to keep saying bear
down this weekend.
Speaker 3 (50:34):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (50:35):
We're going to not be pounding over here. You guys
keep pounding each other away over there. And, you know,
it'll be fun. E, this has been absolutely amazing.
Speaker 3 (50:43):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (50:44):
We'll be all watching the game on Sunday as we're
all excited about week one.
Speaker 3 (50:49):
Any last words, E?
Speaker 4 (50:52):
I'll buy you guys a couple of beers to drown
your sorrows in afterwards. So just give me your Venmo's after.
Speaker 3 (50:55):
We hang up here. Actually, yeah, we can send you
some Malort.
Speaker 1 (50:58):
It's a very delicious delicacy from Chicago.
Speaker 3 (51:04):
It's very tasty liqueur.
Speaker 4 (51:05):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (51:08):
It's on the, dude, if I wanted to, if.
Speaker 4 (51:09):
I wanted to go and have some, Oh Lord, I'll
just drink the water out of Lake Norman up North. Yeah.
And there's like a nuclear site right there. So like,
let's not get crazy.
Speaker 3 (51:21):
Wait, I could get superpowers.
Speaker 4 (51:24):
You could, you could. Charlotte is a, is an interesting
place for sure.
Speaker 3 (51:26):
I love that.
Speaker 4 (51:27):
That's how Lou Keekly got as big as he did.
Speaker 1 (51:31):
He white from 99.7, the Fox over there in Charlotte.
Thanks for calling in, man. We appreciate it. Sunday is
going to be a wild one. Hopefully it's not a
trap game, but Hey, don't sleep on the Carolina Panthers
this year. Thanks for joining us today.
Speaker 3 (51:47):
Thanks boys.
Speaker 4 (51:47):
Have fun this weekend.
Speaker 3 (51:48):
I wake up every.
Speaker 4 (51:51):
Evening.
Speaker 2 (51:55):
Rock 95.5, Chicago's rock station. Again, a big thanks to E. White,
our boy over there in, well, I don't know if
he's our boy, but he works for the same company
over in Charlotte.
Speaker 1 (52:05):
He's on 99.7, the Fox. They've got the Panther games.
Speaker 3 (52:08):
Yeah. We're not talking about that anymore. We're talking about
the Bears.
Speaker 4 (52:13):
All right.
Speaker 2 (52:13):
What a week it has been. Football's back Sunday. The
big game, noon start time. Carolina versus your Chicago Bears. Obviously, Michael,
what's your prediction for this game? Oh, I think we win. Prediction.
I think we win by a touchdown.
Speaker 4 (52:32):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (52:33):
I'd call this one like a 34 to 10. Oh, wow. Yeah.
I do.
Speaker 2 (52:38):
I was just making sure. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (52:40):
I do think Carolina will be a much better team
than last year, but it's not going to show in
week one.
Speaker 3 (52:46):
But overall. You're feeling pretty confident about how the Bears
are going to play this season, right?
Speaker 4 (52:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (52:52):
No slump. Are they going to be better or worse
than last year?
Speaker 2 (52:56):
I think it's going to be about the same.
Speaker 3 (52:59):
Oh, you think it's going to be the same?
Speaker 2 (52:59):
I think they're dealing with a little more of a
headwind than they were last year. I think they're a
good team. But also, if I'm being completely honest, I'm
worried about the defense.
Speaker 3 (53:08):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (53:09):
I think that. i think we're a little light i
think the offense is incredible and i think we'll score
we'll score but we also have to stop the other
teams scoring like in that seahawks game you know what
i noticed is that the the seahawks couldn't score for
a while and the defense started scoring they're getting interceptions
they're you know making so i'm a little worried in
that way but i think we take 10 wins.
Speaker 1 (53:30):
This year okay uh i have the bears also uh
winning 10 games they're gonna go 10 and 7 this
year uh but um that's only because of the strength
of schedule right bears have one of the most difficult
strength of schedules the nfc north is the black and
blue division for an absolute uh reason um i do
want to see the bears sweep the packers again yeah
(53:53):
that just needs to happen.
Speaker 2 (53:54):
That christmas game is going to be bears could go
2 and 15 and if they beat the packers both
times i'm fine i know that's not ideal i know
that's not ideal we would like to see another playoff
run in the mix of things but But.
Speaker 3 (54:06):
They're going to be a good team.
Speaker 1 (54:07):
It's just people have and know what Ben Johnson and
the Bears are going to be.
Speaker 3 (54:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (54:13):
So I'm also excited to see what new plays Ben
Johnson has drawn up for this stud offense that he's got.
Speaker 3 (54:20):
He's got tight ends falling out of everywhere.
Speaker 1 (54:22):
And then that young core wide receivers is going to
be a lot of fun. Hopefully the health stays up
for the running backs between Swift and the nun guy.
But it's going to be a fun season to watch
for sure.
Speaker 2 (54:33):
Frobenis Taco in the YouTube chat says, and this is
an interesting take, statistically the Bears aren't going to get
as lucky as they did on those scores. We did
have a lot of luck running our way last year.
I would hope that the team knows that and they're
preparing so we don't put ourselves in those situations. But
he does say, he says here, he says, even if
they were the same exact team, they'd be likely to regress.
Speaker 1 (54:54):
So one of the big things that the Bears have
to fix is scoring early.
Speaker 2 (54:59):
Yeah. Can't wait till the last four minutes.
Speaker 3 (55:02):
Caleb Williams.
Speaker 1 (55:04):
I don't know this to be true, but he plays
like he has ADHD. He shows up at the end
of the game ready to go.
Speaker 2 (55:10):
And the pressure.
Speaker 3 (55:10):
Oh, it could.
Speaker 4 (55:11):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (55:11):
The panic and the pressure. What ADHD people need.
Speaker 4 (55:14):
I know it.
Speaker 3 (55:14):
Watching these games and having high blood pressure.
Speaker 1 (55:17):
Ease it on me yeah don't make me take extra
pills on sundays mondays and thursdays please and thank you

Speaker 2 (55:36):

Rock 95.5 Chicago's Rock Station. The Morning Mosh Pit is
on and it is text time.
Speaker 3 (56:00):
All right.
Speaker 2 (56:01):
I got to hit a couple of these real recent
ones here first.
Speaker 3 (56:04):
Go ahead.
Speaker 2 (56:05):
From the 9-3-1, the Bears will make it to the playoffs,
get bounced out of the first round. Hashtag tighten up.
Love the show, guys.
Speaker 3 (56:14):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (56:14):
Are you saying tighten up or are you a Tennessee
Titans fan? Because either way, shut up. I'm tight over here.
I'm clenched. We got to win this game. All right,
let's go over to the email where our man Steve
has put a bunch of these together throughout the morning.
Let's see here from the 705. It's about that ass.
Speaker 3 (56:35):
I mean, bass.
Speaker 2 (56:37):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (56:39):
All right.
Speaker 2 (56:39):
No trouble, by the way.
Speaker 3 (56:40):
Obviously.
Speaker 2 (56:41):
From the 708, happy MF and Chainsaw Friday pit. Tow
truck Ken checking in.
Speaker 4 (56:45):
And remember.
Speaker 2 (56:47):
It's not a saying. It's a way of life.
Speaker 3 (56:49):
That's true.
Speaker 2 (56:50):
F the Packers.
Speaker 5 (56:51):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (56:51):
All the time.
Speaker 3 (56:52):
My favorite text of the day.
Speaker 2 (56:53):
A bear down.
Speaker 4 (56:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (56:55):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (56:55):
From the 814, I got grounded because of 9-11. Yeah,
it's 9-11.
Speaker 3 (56:59):
25 years. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (57:00):
Crazy.
Speaker 2 (57:00):
We were talking earlier about where we were and that
moment when you were like, whoa, whoa. I got grounded
because of 9-11. My mom worked at a government facility
and spent all day in lockdown. Yeah, that was crazy
because government facilities locked down. All the planes came out
of the sky. They were sending everybody home from work.
It was wild. He says I was out with friends
like every day. She picked me up and grounded me
(57:22):
for not being home after a national emergency.
Speaker 3 (57:24):
Yeah, that's... You got to be around.
Speaker 2 (57:27):
Tom's checking in. He says, I was making deliveries at
the Trump Casino in Gary, Indiana, when the planes hit
the buildings. I was listening on the radio. I called
my boss and asked if I could watch the TV
for a few minutes. He said, yes, but don't take
all day. So it was absolutely devastating and heartbreaking to watch.
You felt like everything was changing rapidly in that day. Uh,
(57:48):
from the six three Oh English class freshman year, one
teacher came to our room, pulled our teacher out, told her,
and then she came back in silently turned on the
TV and nobody really said much after that.
Speaker 3 (58:00):
Kind of crazy.
Speaker 1 (58:01):
Yeah, because it's a lot to absorb in that moment,
especially if you're a teenager in high school.
Speaker 2 (58:06):
Yeah, I just graduated high school. I think I was
18 and a half, 19 years old. I was a freshman.
We're talking about today. A prominent divorce attorney said that
one of the main things he sees in divorces is
video game addiction. From the 312, I personally think that's
an excuse. If someone says video games ruined the relationship,
there were probably underlying issues already there. I'm married to
(58:27):
a gamer, and while it can be frustrating at times,
it has also brought my family closer together. We have
game nights with our kids playing Mario Kart or Smash Bros.
Speaker 3 (58:34):
There you go.
Speaker 2 (58:35):
That's the way to do it.
Speaker 1 (58:36):
We did talk with a caller after that one, and
he said he had been on both sides of it.
He had a gaming addiction but got out of it
and now has a much better relationship with his wife
for it.
Speaker 2 (58:47):
But he was playing 12 hours a day and working
like his entire world was video games. And he found
out he was ADHD and just searching for dopamine hits.
So you can get those otherwise or just get better
or just get them otherwise. From the 630, can't I
just own a video game, please? Forget the cloud.
Speaker 4 (59:05):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 1 (59:06):
The cloud gaming on Xbox is gonna be kind of
expensive if they do it the way that they're planning.
Speaker 2 (59:11):
On From the 773, guys, I just want Riot Fest tickets.
I don't want to play video games on a cloud.
And let's get a couple more in. From the 847,
my girlfriend and her sister are going to the Pitbull concert.
They're dressing up and already have their bald caps ready.
Speaker 4 (59:24):
That's awesome.
Speaker 3 (59:25):
That's wild. That would be funny.
Speaker 2 (59:27):
That would be fun. All right, and let's go. 708,
video game therapy. The next best thing to basic rifle therapy.
Speaker 3 (59:35):
I don't hate that.
Speaker 2 (59:35):
I like both.
Speaker 3 (59:36):
I don't hate that at all. You know what else
I love?
Speaker 2 (59:39):
Chainsaw? Number two of the day.
Speaker 4 (59:44):
844-955-9550.
Speaker 3 (59:44):
Be color-tinted and win yourself a chainsaw on free. Chainsaw Pride.
Speaker 2 (59:58):
A Rock 95.5, Chicago's Rock Station, Bear Down. It is
a big weekend. Everybody excited to get into the weekend.
A beautiful day outside. And we found a news crew
out there in Australia since they had the big San
Francisco game and Rams game yesterday. And she might have,
I don't know, mispronounced something a little bit.
Speaker 4 (01:00:17):
They were watching some footy game in America.
Speaker 2 (01:00:21):
The Rams and the San Francisco 69ers.
Speaker 4 (01:00:23):
Whoa! 40! 49ers!
Speaker 2 (01:00:23):
That sounds much more interesting.
Speaker 4 (01:00:25):
Yes!
Speaker 2 (01:00:25):
A lot of people might pay to see them.
Speaker 3 (01:00:36):
That's true. That's what we were doing.
Speaker 4 (01:00:37):
The 49ers.
Speaker 3 (01:00:38):
That's much harder to explain to your wife. The 49ers
did win.
Speaker 2 (01:00:47):
Point was, you were watching football.
Speaker 3 (01:00:49):
None of the points been made. I love a newsflub.
What was on her mind? Seriously, girl. Girl.
Speaker 2 (01:00:58):
I like the footy game. We're watching a footy game
in America.
Speaker 1 (01:01:03):
We got two more days of Bro Week 2026. We'll
get back to that on Monday. Our mistress of chaos, Maria.
She'll be back on Wednesday. And then I'm out. So
we got it.
Speaker 2 (01:01:15):
Don't worry. I'll be here.
Speaker 4 (01:01:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:01:16):
Michael will be around, but, um, bigger than anything. And always,
we cannot say this enough. We love you guys. We
love you being here with us. We love you being
a part of the show, whether you're texting, sending in
walkie talk backs, joining us in our streams on YouTube. Instagram, Facebook, X, Twitter,
whatever you want to call it. We appreciate you guys
(01:01:36):
so much. So we just have a great weekend.
Speaker 2 (01:01:39):
Yeah, we'll see you guys on Monday. Walt, the new
album is out. Yeah, Wither Rewired. They recut their Wither
Peel and Stand album, Stabbing Westward did. You can stream
it now and Walt will be on next.
Speaker 3 (01:01:52):
Absolutely. Have a great weekend.
Speaker 2 (01:01:55):
Bear down, bear down.
