Speaker 1 (00:05):
We have done it.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
We have made it to the end of the week.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
It's not over yet. We've got big parties this weekend.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
Do we?
Speaker 1 (00:13):
I've got one tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
What are you doing tomorrow?
Speaker 1 (00:15):
I'm going to see Fluorescence over at the Bottom Lounge.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Oh, thank you for joining us, Mikey. I'm glad you
can make it.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
There he is. Mr. America.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Someone's having some issues this morning, but I'm doing my best.
Speaker 4 (00:29):
Well.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
Pregnancy, isn't it?
Speaker 1 (00:32):
I know. Oh, Lord.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
Morning sickness.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Morning sickness.
Speaker 5 (00:36):
Oh, no.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
I'll hold your hair.
Speaker 6 (00:38):
It's the Morning Mosh Pit on Rock 95.5. Things don't
get more normal from here. My name is Maria Palmer.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
I'm Maris. I'm Michael. You got some weather for me,
big dog?
Speaker 3 (00:46):
I do.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
All right.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
Michael says don't go outside or look out your window.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
It'll ruin the surprise. Here's weather.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
It's going to be nice today. Super nice, actually. Sunshine, wall-to-wall,
high of like 85.
Speaker 7 (00:58):
Man.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
It says 81 here, but the news this morning said 85,
so somewhere right in the... That's hot. Yeah, and it's
going to get hotter as we keep going here. 90s
in store for next week.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
Bang a rang.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
Get back up into it. Weekend looking good. Sunday, a
few storms. Other than that, pretty good.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
So summer really isn't over, then?
Speaker 7 (01:18):
No.
Speaker 8 (01:19):
Until October, there'll be a very big cool down in
the middle of the month.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
So we can keep wearing our Hawaiian shirts, then?
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Damn, sure. We're going to need it.
Speaker 6 (01:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
Because they're the only thing keeping us away from AI.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
I'll tell you about it.
Speaker 5 (01:34):
Oh, boy.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
Next on Rock 95.5. Get ready to see criminals running
around in Hawaiian shirts.
Speaker 6 (01:41):
Nice.
Speaker 8 (01:41):
Shout out to my man, Simon Weckert. He is a
German designer who has been working to trick AI surveillance
in a sense of he's designed a shirt. the AI
won't pick up. The patterns on the shirt are too bold,
too bright, too everything. And AI just won't pick it up.
(02:02):
So he's tested a few different designs and he's found
something that works.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
So if you're okay with a Hawaiian shirt, which I
absolutely love, very comfortable, very flowy.
Speaker 8 (02:12):
You can hide the beer belly so well. But the
shirt is going to be coming in some interesting colors.
The one that worked best for him uses bright pink, orange,
and green shapes that break up the outline of the
wearer's body, making it harder for some computer systems to
recognize a person.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
I want a bodysuit.
Speaker 8 (02:34):
I want the pants to go with the shirt. I
just want to just blend in. I want to be
invisible to the cameras.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
I was going to say, I want a bodysuit. I
want a makeup line so I can put that on
my skin, too, and just be completely.
Not grayed out. Hawaiian doubt.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
Yeah, I mean, you're still walking around, but the cameras
don't know where you are.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
I feel like somebody's just going to take a picture
of this and upload it to the algorithm.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
It can.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
It's AI proof.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
It's going to go, whoa, there's that. Okay, we know
what that is.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Yeah, that's what they said.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
As long as he does monthly drops.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
Like fresh ones?
Speaker 1 (03:09):
Uh-huh.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
Freshen it up?
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
I don't want to hear about your monthly drops.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
All kinds of drops.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
I do have a question.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (03:16):
What makes something AI-proof? Like, what do they mean by AI-proof?
Speaker 1 (03:20):
So, AI has been.
Speaker 8 (03:21):
The cameras have been trained to look for human body patterns, right?
Speaker 1 (03:25):
Okay. So, if you're giving off.
Speaker 8 (03:28):
The shirt that they're showing me has got all these
weird bubbles. Not same-size bubbles, but they're different-size bubbles that
are all over the body.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
In different colors and different shapes and whatnot.
Speaker 8 (03:38):
AI was not able to pick up on that in
a room full of people walking around.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Okay, so we're talking about, like.
Speaker 6 (03:45):
Not theoretical literal, but theoretically, like surveillance AI.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Is what you're okay.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Gotcha.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
Because there's so many kinds.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
They also have masks coming out that you can like
see a normal, like my eyes would see your face,
but there's this glossy mask that you wear. And so
it refracts the light differently and the cameras can't pick
up the specifics on your face.
Speaker 8 (04:06):
I can't wait to see this technology used in the
new James Bond movie.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
It's going to be amazing.
Speaker 6 (04:11):
I was literally about to say, who is this for?
Because what benefit does it provide me? Like, yes, of
course we want privacy. I hate the fact that we
are all being surveilled on essentially a mass scale at
this point. I just don't know how it benefits me
to wear that shirt because I can't wear it all day,
every day.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
So I'm going to be picked up sometimes. Is this
like if I'm heisting a bank?
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Getting a rotation. I'm going to be gone.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
Yeah, it's interesting. It'd be interesting to try it out.
Speaker 5 (04:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
Let's give it a shot.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
What are your thoughts?
Speaker 8 (04:41):
844-955-9550.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
Hit us on the texty text line.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Texty text?
Speaker 2 (04:46):
The texty text line. It's like a text, but it's
a little textier. Like a, some call it a texty text.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
Texty.
Speaker 6 (04:58):
We've had quite enough of sad but true. How about
happy but false? Lie to us.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Make us happy. On Rock 95.5. Boys, what are we doing?
Speaker 1 (05:07):
Michael, get it, baby. Damn, Mikey.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
Spark!
Speaker 7 (05:09):
Yeah!
Speaker 3 (05:10):
He's ready to explode. A lot of sports.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
Yeah, it's going to be a big weekend. You want
to start? You want me to start?
Speaker 3 (05:16):
I'll jump into it here. Cubbies at Wrigley today. Actually,
last time they played the Reds, I made a lot
of money, so it might be good. Reds aren't a
great team.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
He's back, baby.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
My own thing. I'm a little upset with the Cubs
right now. But, yeah, so Cubs second in the NL Central,
behind Milwaukee, of course, currently sitting at the top of
the NL wildcard spot, coming off a 2-0 shutout loss
in Arizona on Wednesday. But it should be a good
game in the next, or I guess the rest of
the week would be, or next week would be the Brewers.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
There it is.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
Having a hard time today. All right, and what did
the Sox do? The Sox are on the road in Minnesota.
They're taking on the Twins. First pitch tonight, 7-10. Of course,
first pitch for the Cubbies, 120 over at Wrigley. Sox
only two and a half games in first place, though.
Speaker 8 (06:04):
That's their lead, and this is a big series. And
then they'll have the Twins again soon, too.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Oh, really?
Speaker 8 (06:11):
Or no, it's Kansas City this week, and then the Twins.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
Then they go to Houston next week.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Yeah, they got to win these games. That's close. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
That's riding the line there.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Tis, tis.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
Also, real quick, Rizzo will be the Cubs analyst alongside
Reds analyst Jeff Brantley and play-by-play voice John Brannetti for
the Sunday night. Sunday night Cubs game.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
That's actually, that's going to be a good watch.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
Do you think maybe Rizzo is starting to lean toward?
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Yeah. Okay. Yeah. And he absolutely needs to lean more
into it. I'd love to hear that.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
And news out late yesterday, Packer star running back, Josh
Jacobs has been charged with two misdemeanors after getting in
a situation with his girlfriend. It says per the criminal complaint,
A woman identified as Jacobs' girlfriend told officers that she
had been looking through Jacobs' phone and saw that he
was talking to other women. She became upset through his phone,
told Jacobs he could look through her phone and told
him to call her car to take her to Chicago.
(07:06):
When she decided to retrieve the phone, according to the complaint,
Jacobs did not return it, grabbed her arm, began a
physical struggle. threw her to the ground where she hit
her head, and he is now in charge of two misdemeanors.
Each misdemeanor, a fine of $ 10, 000, and not more than
nine months in prison if he is convicted.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
Yes, Maria.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
Josh Jacobs' Jingleheimer hit.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
Ha ha!
Speaker 3 (07:30):
Do you think he's going to play this year?
Speaker 8 (07:33):
I know he's going to have a suspension. We'll see
how that goes. Chris Sale had a big night against
the Dodgers yesterday.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
Complete game shutout. Here's how the end of the game sounded.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
Truist Park waiting to explode.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
I know you're worried about the Brewers, but you got
to keep your eye on Atlanta.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
We got to worry about everybody being in a good division.
This sucks.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
Yes, you do.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
It sucks. Is it hockey season yet?
Speaker 1 (08:12):
No, not yet.
Speaker 8 (08:13):
Chris Sale with 11 strikeouts yesterday. And as we heard,
they swept the Dodgers.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
Crazy.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (08:20):
So that's a big deal. Also big deal. Bears final
preseason game this weekend is to take on the Tennessee
Titans in Tennessee at 5 p.m. A lot of roster
cuts coming.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
Right after the game.
Speaker 8 (08:32):
So we'll be looking at some interesting position battles going
on with the Bears. I'll be watching to see which
tackles they keep going into the season on the offensive line.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
But yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
By the way, Dodgers, when the season started, 31.5% chance
to win the World Series. Right now, 31.1%. So it's
actually went backwards.
Speaker 8 (08:52):
I'm no math major now, but that's not a big
enough jump for me to say anything. All right, Mikey,
let's get rock news next, yeah?
Speaker 3 (09:00):
Yeah, you got it. Boy, one of the massive, massive
headliners for Riot Fest had to have an emergency hip replacement.
We'll tell you if they're going to make it next.
Will Tool play Riot Fest? That is the big question.
Rock 95.5 Chicago's Rock Station. Apparently, Pussifer out on the
road about a month ago. Okay. Maynard said he woke
(09:23):
up and his leg just didn't work.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
That's not good.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Get a new one.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
Likes to get up, go on a hike, do a
little exercising in the morning. Said it didn't even hurt.
Had to finish the rest of that tour, which was
only a few more dates, with a cane.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Okay, we have built all these robots. Get the man
a new robot leg.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
Get him a couple.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
He shouldn't have to deal with this.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
Or sit down. Yeah. That's true.
Speaker 8 (09:43):
Why are you on stage with a cane?
Speaker 3 (09:47):
To be fair in Tool, he doesn't move around a lot.
So he can kind of just... Yeah, it's fine.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
We'll make sacrifices.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
They could do it like they originally did with Lieutenant
Dan and just give him some green screen legs. Lounge Tool. No,
they are planning to play Riot Fest. But Maynard did
have to have an emergency surgery to get his hip replaced.
He said, quote, Don't be lazy. Read this whole post.
July 3rd woke up in Luxembourg. On tour with Imperfect Circle,
when I went to do my workout and hike, my
left hip said absolutely not. Out of nowhere, just decided
(10:16):
not to work. By the way, have I told you
how much fun getting older is?
Speaker 5 (10:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
It's great.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
My back isn't working right today.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
Great.
Speaker 3 (10:23):
I had to finish the rest of the tour in
pain and with a cane, followed by frantic phone calls
and emails to get to the bottom of what was
going on. I needed a hip replacement. I'll be performing
27 shows in 18 different countries before the end of
the year. Canceling is not an option.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
Perfect.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
See, that sucks for artists, right? Because you book shows
so far out that, you know, 20,000 people are planning
to come to this thing.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Yeah, good thing they get paid all of that money.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
That's true.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
People have purchased tickets, booked travel and lodging, most of
which is non-refundable. Hats off to the medical team here
in L.A. When taking recovery into consideration, my cutoff for
hip replacement would have been September 1st to be able
to still do the shows and keep going. These wizards
aligned their wands and got me in on August 26th. Today,
right now. Do it for Dolly is the hashtag.
Speaker 8 (11:11):
I will say the recovery time on a hip replacement
has drastically increased from what we knew it to be.
Speaker 3 (11:17):
You mean decreased?
Speaker 1 (11:18):
That part. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
Which is awesome.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
But I also say, hey, man, sit down.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
Take a break.
Speaker 8 (11:26):
You know, if we're going to have these great and
amazing performances on stage, I want them to last and
I want you to be able to do them.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
So sit down.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
Do you think Tool covers Dolly Parton at Riot Fest?
Speaker 3 (11:37):
That would be unbelievable, but I don't think Tool covers many.
I've seen Tool like 10 times. They don't cover many artists.
But it'd be cool. Somebody will write it. It'd be
pretty cool if Tool.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
That'd be cool.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
Also, real quick, Dashboard Confessional and The Fray playing out
at Huntington Bank Pavilion. That's sad.
Speaker 4 (11:53):
Sad night.
Speaker 3 (11:54):
Pearl Jam cover band tomorrow night, House of Blues. We
will be there. And by the way, 35 years as
of yesterday since the album 10 came out. Oh, wow.
So kind of a big fun thing there for all
the rock news and the concert calendar. Just head over
to rock955. com.
Speaker 6 (12:11):
Sometimes we embarrass ourselves in the pursuit of love and
companionship and connection. And that is just fine. And sometimes
it goes into unhinged territory. That's what we're going to
talk about right now on the Morning Mosh Pit on
Rock 95.5.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
Most unhinged things people have done to get a partner.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Let's go.
Speaker 8 (12:31):
Oh, cool.
Speaker 6 (12:32):
He lived in Canada, so I booked a flight and
said I was there for vacation and that we should
hang out.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
Yeah, that's wild. It's fine, but it's wild.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
If you have the money for it, I guess.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
Did she stay? What do you mean?
Speaker 8 (12:44):
Like, never in Canada? Yeah, she's still in Canada. She's like, oh,
I'm on vacation. Actually, I'm going to stay a little
bit longer.
Speaker 6 (12:51):
Yeah, as long as it takes for you to fall
in love with me, I am on vacation. I blocked
my stories to 1,300 followers one by one except him
because putting him in close friends was too much and
I would look intense.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
That's hilarious.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
That's great.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
That is so funny.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
It's fine. Just put the green bubble up. I like effort.
Speaker 6 (13:11):
No, but she's right, though. The green bubble would look
too intense. You can't just like add someone into close
friends right out the gate. But you want to see
if they're watching your stories.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
His father is dead.
Speaker 6 (13:22):
So faked my dad's death for years just so we
could have something in common to talk about. And so
he could hug and comfort me when I cry because
I missed my dad.
Speaker 3 (13:32):
Holy.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
That is insane.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
Holy. Yeah, that's out there. That's insane.
Speaker 6 (13:36):
And definitely if you lied about a parent's death, you
should tell them that you lied about that before you
marry them.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
That's going to be a great relationship.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
That's insane.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
I knew where he lived.
Speaker 6 (13:47):
So I bought three boxes of Hershey's and went to
his house to sell him some chocolate for a good cause.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
His girlfriend opened the door. I didn't know he had
a girlfriend.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
Hey, you got to do better reconnaissance.
Speaker 6 (14:01):
I spent five hours finding his Spotify, memorized every single
song and added them to my playlist and we bonded
over our music taste.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
We are engaged now.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
I hope she actually liked those songs.
Speaker 3 (14:14):
I mean, I guess if you had to do what
you got to do and you're engaged, you end up
having a good relationship. There's a strategy to everything. I
just don't like the dishonesty. That seems like a weird
way to go into a relationship.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Yeah, I guess I would be dishonest. That one's not
that bad to me. It's a lot.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
The one before it was crazy.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
It's more just like you're doing the most and for what?
Speaker 6 (14:33):
Like, what magical thing do you think you're going to
get from this relationship that's going to make that crazy
behavior seem normal?
Speaker 1 (14:39):
They got engaged, so she got what she wanted.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Yeah, is he a billionaire? Or is he just some
guy that she's now engaged to?
Speaker 1 (14:45):
You know, some guy's just got that aura about him,
you know?
Speaker 3 (14:48):
Yeah, maybe he's got that billion down the pain.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
Yeah, maybe.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
He's packing.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
A lot of work.
Speaker 6 (14:54):
I made him a batch of cookies, which my friend
convinced me to spit in to make him fall in
love with me. We've now been dating for almost two years.
Speaker 3 (15:01):
Spit in.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
Spit in it.
Speaker 8 (15:03):
I mean, I guess if you're going to be making
out and kissing, it's just a precursor.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
A little sample of the taste. Oh, my God.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Okay, last one.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 6 (15:14):
I made my auntie put my grandma in a retirement
home he was a waiter at.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
Yeah, that'd probably be problematic. That'd be real problematic.
Speaker 6 (15:24):
And this is why we all just need to get laid,
so that Meemaw isn't going into some random retirement home
so that we have a chance.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
At a little bit of something.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
Bad news.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
That's great. Yeah, it's bad news beers. You know what
I'm saying? I mean, who amongst us hasn't been sent
to the dunce corner before?
Speaker 1 (15:42):
I haven't. Oh, I have.
Speaker 3 (15:44):
All the time in school.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
Too smart for that.
Speaker 8 (15:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (15:47):
What'd you get sent to?
Speaker 1 (15:48):
The corner for trying to put somebody in a wrestling move.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
What was the move? How old were you?
Speaker 8 (15:56):
I was in first grade and I was setting my
guy up for a pile driver.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
I don't want to break someone's neck in class. Bummer.
Speaker 6 (16:05):
So, Mikey would be sent to the corner by this teacher.
A Georgia second grade teacher has come up with a
simple plan for one of the less pleasant parts of
the classroom life.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
A special fart corner.
Speaker 6 (16:16):
Yeah. Candy Sidney Browning says she has a weak stomach
so students who need to pass gas can get up,
walk to the gusty winds area, take care of business,
then return to their seats. She even keeps Febreze nearby
to help with the smell. The idea is drawn pre.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
What did it do?
Speaker 3 (16:35):
Pay, pay, pay, pay.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Yeah, yeah, draw a pay reaction online.
Speaker 6 (16:39):
Some people are seeing it as a practical way to
handle a normal bodily function.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
Yeah. Well, you got people sitting right behind you. You
can't just let loose right in class.
Speaker 6 (16:48):
While others worry it could embarrass the kids who use it.
I don't think the kids that are embarrassed are going
to get up and use it.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
I saw the video that you posted from this. Wait,
there's video of this?
Speaker 8 (16:58):
Yeah, because she's explaining it to her new class. And,
you know, farts are funny. We know that. But she's
taking it a step further to be like, hey, it happens.
I don't want you to be embarrassed. If you got
it to just come over here, spray and get back
to business.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
And just keep it moving.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
Like, like that was not going to interrupt the class,
by the way. You know, a little Jenny just walks
through the middle of the class, walks over to the corner,
just walks back.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
I was not using that corner.
Speaker 8 (17:25):
I would much rather the Johnny's and James's of the
world who are going to actually use it, go over
in the corner. And then I don't have to sit
next to them when they're releasing.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
I agree with that part. Although I'll let you know,
if I had a fart corner in my class, I'd
be ramping up and doing everything. I'd be eating beans.
I'd be just to go wreck that corner.
Speaker 6 (17:44):
And that is exactly the problem maker with this issue.
That's Mikey making it performative. I don't think that farts
are that big of an issue.
Speaker 8 (17:55):
I mean, I mean, if she says she's got a
weak stomach, she's obviously been tortured by this by a
ton of people.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
You got a weak stomach.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
Did I miss that part? The teacher did this because
it makes her sick.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
She says she has a weak stomach. So students who
need to pass gas, you should.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
Go over there.
Speaker 6 (18:09):
Again, you're a second grade teacher with a weak stomach.
Speaker 8 (18:13):
I also think like. By October, the kids are just
going to be like, whatever, at that point. So, you know,
as you're changing, it's going to be like, Johnny's going
to fur! And then it's like, oh, okay, I got
to go now, so I don't care anymore.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
So it's just taking the fun out of it.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
What was the name of the corner again?
Speaker 2 (18:31):
The gusty winds area.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
Okay, I do like that.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
I like that.
Speaker 3 (18:34):
I hope there's like fans pointed in that direction.
Speaker 2 (18:36):
Oh my God, we need to make.
Speaker 6 (18:38):
Our own little corner and we're going to call it
the Windy City.
Speaker 3 (18:40):
We're going to.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
Be like making it go to the Windy City.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
We have no circulation in this room as it is.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
We have our fart corner.
Speaker 3 (18:47):
It's right over here by me. Every day.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
Speaking of Michael, you are a pit master today.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
Are we doing Pit Happens?
Speaker 8 (18:53):
Yeah, it's on the way after the break on Rock 95.5.
Speaker 5 (18:58):
Now, here's the pit-only plug with Maris.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
Plug it. 844-955-9550. It's time for Pit Happens.
Speaker 8 (19:07):
It's our lovely game where we put you in a pituation,
and your goal is not to get kicked out, tossed out,
thrown out, or bounced out by security. And today, up
for grabs, another pair of tickets to Black Label Society
over at Aragon Ballroom on September.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
12th, because September's here. August left us.
Speaker 8 (19:25):
Next week will be September 1st.
Speaker 6 (19:29):
We got the 31st on Monday. We're still in August.
We're solidly in it.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
But we need you. 844-955-9550. Michael, you are our pit
master today. Where are we headed?
Speaker 3 (19:42):
I haven't decided yet.
Speaker 8 (19:43):
Okay, love that.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Maria, Yeah.
Speaker 8 (19:46):
Give us that number one more time.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
That would be 844-955-95. We are still in August.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
Rock 95. Five. Are we speaking with Andrew from deer park? Yes.
How are we doing? How are we doing?
Speaker 3 (20:01):
Fantastic.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
Thanks for joining us this morning. How's your Friday going
so far?
Speaker 3 (20:07):
Going really well.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
Going really well.
Speaker 6 (20:09):
Good.
Speaker 8 (20:09):
Let's make it better with some Black Label Society tickets
up for grabs with Pit Happens.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
Thanks for joining us for our little game here.
Speaker 8 (20:15):
We're going to put you in a pituation, and your
goal is not to get kicked out, tossed out, thrown out,
or bounced out by security.
Speaker 1 (20:21):
Michael is our pit master. My man, are you ready?
Speaker 4 (20:25):
Yes, sir.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
Let's go.
Speaker 3 (20:26):
We are in downtown Chicago on the House of Blues
tomorrow night for the Big Ten show. Pearl Jam cover band.
Great cover band, by the way.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
I mean, if you.
Speaker 3 (20:35):
turned your back to the stage, you wouldn't know it
wasn't Pearl Jam. They're incredible. Maria, you're going out to that?
Speaker 4 (20:40):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (20:41):
It's going to be a fun time out there. We're
all hanging out. We decided to go down in the pit.
We want to get in the crowd a little bit there.
Get in the pit! Yeah, and all of a sudden, we... Maris,
I see him sniffing, and I look up.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
What is this?
Speaker 3 (20:54):
I mean, we've heard stories of people who, instead of
using the bathroom, will maybe just do a leg shake
or something in the pit. Turns out, then I go
to step in to whisper in Maris' ear, make sure
he's okay, and my foot slips.
Speaker 4 (21:10):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
Now we all know, we start to know what's going on.
Maria glances to the left and you actually see someone
doing a leg shake. Just trying to clear the pipe,
so to speak. Now, I am deeply offended because there
cannot be any feces when Pearl Jam is playing. So
(21:31):
I go up to confront the guy. He swings on
me instantly. Pause. How are we getting out of this dookie?
Speaker 1 (21:42):
Ooh, that's a good question. That's a good question.
Speaker 3 (21:45):
You know what?
Speaker 1 (21:46):
I'll join in.
Speaker 3 (21:47):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
And if it doesn't go well, I'm swinging with you.
Speaker 6 (21:50):
Okay, okay, good.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
Also throwing hands.
Speaker 4 (21:56):
Four.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
That's fine. We win. We kicked his ass. Smear a
little poo in his hair and send him on his way.
Security grabs him, drags him out. And we're good to go.
Speaker 8 (22:05):
We enjoy the rest of the show. Well done, Andrew.
Throwing hands with Mikey.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:10):
Well, the nice thing was, is he swung, I moved
my head, and then Andrew just caught him when his
arm was all extended. So he caught him back on
the other side.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
Very well played.
Speaker 3 (22:18):
The guy fell, pooping his hair, and it's over.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
Yeah, I picked up some poop and threw it.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
I do like that.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
That sounds like the most Maria thing I've ever heard.
Speaker 8 (22:26):
Also, Andrew, you are going to Black Label Society over
at Aragon Ballroom September 12th. Hopefully you have more luck
in the pit while you're there. Andrew, who do you
plan on taking with you this one? Probably taking my
buddy Sam was trying to get tickets last night.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
Oh, hell yeah.
Speaker 8 (22:47):
Quote, very lucky for you. Well done, Sam. You got tickets. Andrew,
you got tickets. And for everybody else.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
That wants tickets, you know what you got to do.
Speaker 8 (22:57):
Head on over to Ticketmaster.com to get that taken care of.
All thanks to our friends from Alive Nation and Sunday.
There are going to be shots of Malort drank in Chicago.
Speaker 4 (23:10):
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
And it's not a prank this time. It's a big event.
If somebody's trying to.
Speaker 8 (23:15):
Break a record, we got the details for you here
next on Rock 95.5. A record will be set in
Chicago for a gathering of people set to join together
and taking a shot of Malort.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
Amazing.
Speaker 8 (23:31):
I am shocked that there's not already a record for
this that's already out there. But it looks like the
group is going to be meeting on Sunday at recess
in Chicago around 730.
Speaker 1 (23:45):
And tickets flew off the shelves for this.
Speaker 8 (23:47):
They had to open up more space to get more
people in. And those tickets also flew off the shelves.
Each participant is going to have their own little shooter,
as Michael likes to call it, the little bottle of
Malort for.
Speaker 1 (24:00):
Them to enjoy. Call them nips.
Speaker 6 (24:02):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
Yeah. Yes, we got that.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
I wasn't sure if you understood. I didn't do the
pointy motion.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
I hate you so much.
Speaker 8 (24:10):
Nice thing about this is all the funds raised are
going to Ravenswood Community Services, where they provide meals and
groceries for those in Uptown and Ravenswood neighborhoods.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
Oh, that's nice.
Speaker 8 (24:21):
So there's a lot of positive happening out of this,
and I love seeing Chicago come together for something like this.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
But generally, I.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
Want.
Speaker 8 (24:31):
the best social media team out there for this. I
want a shot cast of everybody's face after the Malort shot.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
That's really funny.
Speaker 8 (24:41):
Some people are really good at staying plain face about it.
And it's strong. You know, you've had it before. You've
been through the process. You know what Malort tastes like.
But you still, you get a little tinge in the
lip or your face.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
I can literally taste it just thinking about it.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
Yeah, I'm tasting it right now.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
It's so effing gross.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
It's not good. And I think that's like the novelty
behind Malort.
Speaker 3 (25:01):
What do you mean novelty? I don't want it to.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
You have bad dreams about it, but you can't avoid it.
It's always around.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
Yeah, trauma.
Speaker 8 (25:13):
Also cool about this is that there are a slew
of other bars within the Chicagoland area who are also
going to be partaking in the joint shot. I don't
know if that counts for the actual record as there's
going to be multiple bars that are going to be
participating in that.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
But yeah, it's just this is a cool event.
Speaker 8 (25:29):
We we love to torture ourselves with Malort in Chicago
for whatever reason.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
On Sunday, the Lord's Day, and now it's Malort's Day.
Speaker 1 (25:37):
Oh, I see what you did here with the bell, Michael. Oh, yeah.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
Oh, I'm glad he didn't actually hit me with the bell.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
I just throw it.
Speaker 8 (25:48):
At her. 844-955-9550. Are you planning on going? Did you
get your tickets already? Or are you going to be
at one of the satellite events around the city? Let
us know if you're taking in part in the Guinness
World Record that's happening on Sunday.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
Or are you healthy?
Speaker 3 (26:04):
Nah.
Speaker 4 (26:05):
Gross.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
We know. We know who's going.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
You're listening to us, you know.
Speaker 4 (26:08):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
To lose one's religion means he had religion in the
first place. And religion, interestingly enough, very human to have.
Speaker 3 (26:19):
I thought you were going to say humid.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
It's also humid.
Speaker 6 (26:22):
But we're talking about humans right now in the inevitable
human versus robot war.
Speaker 3 (26:28):
News from the front of the inevitable human robot war.
Speaker 6 (26:32):
Some mad tech scientists at Donut decided that they wanted
to come up with the coldest car possible for the
hottest weather possible.
Speaker 1 (26:40):
Love this.
Speaker 6 (26:41):
They took a 2003 Cadillac Escalade and built a custom
steel bracket to attach to the roof.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
And installed a Thermo King V520, which is used in
refrigerated box trucks.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
Yeah, it's going to be like an ice cooler. Let's go.
Speaker 6 (26:57):
Inside the cabin, they strapped a massive evaporator to the
ceiling that would blow freezing air directly at the back
of the driver's head.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
Then they drove the Escalade to Death Valley, California.
Speaker 7 (27:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
And with outside temperatures at 118 degrees, the inside of
the Escalade If you will. Stayed at above 50 degrees.
Speaker 1 (27:20):
How do I get this on my Nissan? Seriously.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
Well, when the Cubs were playing the Diamondbacks, it was
118 outside.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (27:26):
They had to close the roof because it was so hot.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
Michael, that roof's not open all that often.
Speaker 3 (27:31):
Oh, is it not? Just because it's so hot all
the time?
Speaker 1 (27:32):
Yeah. Yeah. No, I want this in my life.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
Do you?
Speaker 1 (27:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
We live in Chicago.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
And?
Speaker 2 (27:38):
It gets mostly cold here.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
I need it.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
Did it get to 100 this summer? I don't think
that it did.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
I like being cold.
Speaker 8 (27:46):
Maris just comes in. It's just frosted. It's like beard
is frosted. Let me live my happy polar bear life.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
Is that why you're so cold to me?
Speaker 8 (27:55):
There's a myriad of reasons, but we don't have time
to discuss that on air.
Speaker 1 (27:59):
I'm talking about AC here, man. Like refrigeration.
Speaker 2 (28:03):
That would maybe thaw his ice heart. That would be nice.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
It's going to take a lot.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
I'll figure it out on it.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
That's what you want to do. Warm it up. You're
going to breathe on it.
Speaker 3 (28:17):
Hey, if you put your hands together and go like this,
you can really warm it up.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
Would somebody touch my two co-hosts, please?
Speaker 6 (28:25):
How is that even a little bit sexual?
Speaker 2 (28:29):
What possible move could I be doing at that moment?
Speaker 8 (28:33):
I don't think you saw yourself when you went to
a ha-ha into that microphone.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
This is going to feel good to you?
Speaker 6 (28:38):
No, no, no.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
That's like an Indian burn. That wasn't the first move
that you went for. That looks like it would burn my.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
Okay. Yep.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
You want me to breathe on it?
Speaker 1 (28:45):
That's what you were doing.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
Now, what does that do for you?
Speaker 3 (28:48):
Then just clean it like a pair of glasses.
Speaker 2 (28:53):
We've lost the plot in the human versus robot war.
Speaker 5 (28:56):
This was news from the front of the inevitable human
robot war.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
Nerd alert.
Speaker 3 (29:03):
It's time to dork out.
Speaker 8 (29:07):
Well, Xbox may be getting a new customer named Maris
here very soon. PlayStation is still playing those games and
Xbox making announcements.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
Here's what the CEO had to say about the future
of Xbox.
Speaker 4 (29:21):
I want Xbox to be where the world plays. And
in order to be where the world plays, I know
that players love physical media. We're announcing the ability for
players for a thousand titles with physical discs to be
able to have a digital entitlement. And so they get
the wonderful goodness that comes from digital libraries, but in
the world. of the physical libraries that they also have.
(29:42):
The idea behind it is that it is very similar
to owning your physical media now that you have it
in digital form. And so if you then sell the disc,
the digital entitlement will go with that and.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
You can receive that.
Speaker 4 (29:55):
And so I think that It's really a breakthrough in
how we think about physical and digital media. And again,
it's just the start.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
Understood. Understood. And you will know, she's still talking about digital.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
The entire time.
Speaker 7 (30:14):
But she said, you own your digital and your physical
license to the game.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
Why is this so hard?
Speaker 7 (30:22):
That's the verbiage that we've all wanted to hear. And
I'm not going to act like we're not moving towards
a digital world, but Again, Xbox saying we want to
focus on digital and we know those physical games aren't.
Speaker 1 (30:35):
Going to last forever. So you can digitize them with us.
Come and stay. I don't care what that next system costs.
Speaker 7 (30:43):
You got an Xbox buyer out of me for next
gen if PlayStation doesn't get it together and figure this out.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
That's my console.
Speaker 1 (30:52):
I was... I'm impressed. Me too. Asha, the CEO, making
moves over here.
Speaker 3 (30:57):
So are you going to get an Xbox then, Maris?
Speaker 8 (30:59):
No.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
You ain't getting an Xbox.
Speaker 6 (31:02):
No.
Speaker 4 (31:03):
I will.
Speaker 1 (31:03):
Dead serious. Dead serious.
Speaker 7 (31:06):
When the next consoles come out and Xbox is staying
on this line and PlayStation stays.
Speaker 1 (31:12):
The line of you don't own anything, I will buy
an Xbox.
Speaker 3 (31:16):
Where does Xbox sit right now? Is there a new
console for Xbox or are you still playing the 360?
Speaker 1 (31:21):
No, it's not 360.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
Xbox One was the last one that came out.
Speaker 1 (31:25):
Series X.
Speaker 3 (31:26):
Well, now I know they have the handheld.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
One and Series X. Yeah, the Rogue.
Speaker 3 (31:31):
But it's expensive, right?
Speaker 1 (31:32):
It's $ 1, 000 or something. They're going to get $ 1, 000 out
of me if that's what.
Speaker 8 (31:36):
The next system is. I will stand in line and
buy an Xbox. That's where I'm at with PlayStation right now.
Speaker 3 (31:42):
Hey, I just found out from the YouTube chat that
I will not be able to play.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
GTA 6 on Switch. Yeah, I was thinking it's not
strong enough.
Speaker 3 (31:51):
What PlayStation do I need?
Speaker 1 (31:52):
You need a five.
Speaker 3 (31:54):
Is that the newer one?
Speaker 4 (31:55):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 1 (31:55):
How much?
Speaker 4 (31:57):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 3 (31:57):
I'm gonna just jump off a bridge at this point.
Just make it. Make all the games work on everything.
Speaker 2 (32:02):
Hey, what are you betting, though?
Speaker 3 (32:04):
For what, tonight? Yeah, yeah. Uh, Pete, home run probably.
Stop it. Come on. No, I'm not all in. Let's
get you some Xbox money.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
No, no, no.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
Why not?
Speaker 3 (32:11):
Live a little. Oh, actually, if that's the case, screw
the PlayStation. GTA, I'll get the Xbox.
Speaker 1 (32:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (32:18):
Keep it in the... I like that, actually.
Speaker 1 (32:20):
There you go.
Speaker 3 (32:21):
I like that.
Speaker 1 (32:22):
He got there.
Speaker 8 (32:22):
He's about to buy a whole PlayStation where you can
just go get an Xbox and do the exact same thing.
But yeah, shout out to Xbox for actually listening to
the fans. Shout out to Nintendo, too, for listening to
the fans. PlayStation, you're going to have to grovel.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
At this point.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
Don't you got egg on your face?
Speaker 3 (32:41):
Biblical Sin in the YouTube chat says that Xbox has
a 25th anniversary console coming out soon. And they were
saying that it looks awesome.
Speaker 1 (32:49):
Looks awesome. It better play awesome.
Speaker 4 (32:50):
Yeah. 844-955-9550.
Speaker 8 (32:52):
How do you feel about what the Xbox CEO said
about digital and physical media?
Speaker 1 (32:59):
Let us know in the text.
Speaker 6 (33:01):
Those news headlines sure can get you down. Luckily, we
here on the Morning Mosh Pit are going to put
a positive spin on them. This is Bap News Beers.
College student was killed by police in Pennsylvania after he
went to wrong house, father says.
Speaker 1 (33:22):
That's my nightmare.
Speaker 8 (33:23):
I hate that.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
These are not the co-ed shots we were looking for
on the internet.
Speaker 5 (33:27):
Whoa.
Speaker 2 (33:28):
Man arrested near U.S.
Speaker 6 (33:30):
Capitol after driving from California with a guillotine in his
truck bed.
Speaker 3 (33:37):
It's a guillotine. Is that the thing where the slices are?
Speaker 2 (33:41):
Yeah, good thing they headed him off before he got there, huh?
Speaker 6 (33:44):
Police officer arrested after tracking ex-girlfriend on flock camera system
over 2,000 times, authorities say.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
What was she up to? So they're using him for good, huh?
Speaker 2 (33:57):
He sure sounds insecure.
Speaker 6 (33:59):
Coroner says baby with measles in Pennsylvania died of a
ruptured spleen.
Speaker 1 (34:08):
There it is.
Speaker 3 (34:10):
How do you rupture a spleen?
Speaker 2 (34:11):
I don't know. Someone's got some spleening to do.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
This.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
Like, God knows the beers.
Speaker 1 (34:17):
Brutality.
Speaker 7 (34:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:19):
I'll make it better with a chainsaw.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
Fix me, daddy.
Speaker 1 (34:28):
One of two.
Speaker 6 (34:28):
844-955-9550.
Speaker 1 (34:28):
Call now. Imagine dying in ancient times from a groin injury, and.
Speaker 8 (34:32):
Then there's somebody who examines this 2,000 years later.
Speaker 4 (34:35):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (34:45):
It was bigger when I was alive.
Speaker 8 (34:48):
So a mass grave site was found under a sports
field in Vienna. They found about 120 young men were
buried in said site. But they noticed some very specific
pelvic wounds to about 40 percent of the.
Speaker 1 (35:06):
Individuals that were found in the mass grave.
Speaker 8 (35:08):
They're thinking that these might have been from spears or lances,
which absolutely.
Speaker 1 (35:13):
Terrifies me because I don't even like thinking about that.
Speaker 8 (35:16):
These were all groin injuries? All groin, pelvic region injuries.
Speaker 2 (35:22):
A lot of arteries down there.
Speaker 8 (35:24):
One theory is that the attackers were on horseback and
had aimed gaps in that area.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
Their armor. Oh, interesting.
Speaker 8 (35:34):
It was a weak point and the aggressors took advantage
of it. As they were examining, they did see a
significant amount of skull injuries as well, along with.
Speaker 1 (35:45):
There was no disease found in the gentleman.
Speaker 8 (35:48):
They were doing DNA tests and it was a very
Wide background of individuals within the masquerade.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
So they're just like, what the hell happened? But I'm
glad to be living in 2026.
Speaker 3 (36:01):
Is this like a new stadium or something? What does
it say? The stadium? I just want to look it up.
Speaker 8 (36:07):
Sports field in Vienna is what I got. I got
the article sports field.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
That's what I'm going to call all of them from
here on out.
Speaker 3 (36:14):
I like Vienna sausages.
Speaker 8 (36:15):
With it being in Vienna, they could have just said
soccer stadium, but we're not going to go there by
any means.
Speaker 2 (36:21):
Sports field.
Speaker 8 (36:21):
But it's just a wild, torturous way to take out
your enemy, it sounds like.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
Oh, because they're building a soccer field. That's how they
found it all, started digging up the ground and found
it because they're putting a stadium there.
Speaker 1 (36:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (36:34):
Interesting.
Speaker 1 (36:35):
They're going to have to do some work to figure
out what happened with that one.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
That's how my brother almost died.
Speaker 3 (36:38):
I was just going to bring that. I wasn't sure
if you wanted to talk about that, but that's super interesting.
Her brother got shot.
Speaker 6 (36:43):
My brother was wounded in Afghanistan in 2010. And he
was shot by a sniper. So he got hit by
a Dragunov bullet, which are huge, fast bullets. The issue
is that obviously there's a lot of body armor that
they put on soldiers these days. But they still have
to be able to walk. So there's openings in them.
One of the openings is in the groin-ish area between
the legs and the torso. And that's exactly where they
(37:06):
shot him.
Speaker 8 (37:06):
Damn.
Speaker 2 (37:06):
And the iliac artery is down there.
Speaker 1 (37:08):
Jeez.
Speaker 2 (37:09):
I don't think that's what it nicked, but they were
worried that it did.
Speaker 6 (37:12):
But anyway, the medic in the field had to put
his knee into the wound.
Speaker 1 (37:17):
That's insane.
Speaker 6 (37:18):
And try to figure out a tourniquet on my brother's
torso and thigh, which is obviously a difficult place to tourniquet.
Speaker 3 (37:24):
Not like an arm.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
They didn't think he was going to live. He almost didn't,
but he did, thank God.
Speaker 1 (37:28):
Yeah, seriously.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
That groin area, man. A lot of blood down there.
Speaker 3 (37:32):
That's where I wear cups every day, just in case.
Speaker 2 (37:35):
Well, you're supposed to put them on your crotch, though.
Yours are on your breasts.
Speaker 1 (37:39):
And the back.
Speaker 3 (37:39):
I put them on my butt, too.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
Just cup your whole body.
Speaker 1 (37:43):
I don't want them to find you 2,000 years from now.
Speaker 3 (37:46):
They're like, what was wrong with him?
Speaker 1 (37:47):
They're going to be so confused if they find Michael.
Speaker 3 (37:49):
He didn't understand.
Speaker 2 (37:50):
Why is he so skinny and long?
Speaker 5 (37:55):
Now, here's the bit-only plug with Maris.
Speaker 3 (37:58):
Plug it up. 844-955-9550.
Speaker 1 (38:00):
Are you okay, Michael? I'm great. Okay. It's time for
Fun to the Head.
Speaker 8 (38:07):
It's a lovely trivia game where you answer questions, we
get shot with Nerf darts, and you can take one
of us hostage to provide you a save if you
don't know the answer to a question. Up for grabs,
Rob Zombie Tickets. He's going to be in town at
Credit Union 1 Amphitheater on Saturday.
Speaker 1 (38:23):
September 5th. Next weekend.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
Hot dog.
Speaker 1 (38:27):
It is here. But we need you right now. 844-955-9550.
Be Caller 10. Michael, what is that number?
Speaker 3 (38:34):
844-955-95. It's going to be questions about back to school.
Speaker 1 (38:39):
And now, fun to the head on Rock 95.5.
Speaker 3 (38:43):
Yeah, don't worry. They're using Nerf weapons.
Speaker 1 (38:46):
Are we speaking with Tristan from Oak Lawn? Hi, yeah. Yeah,
what's going on, my man? How are we doing today?
Speaker 4 (38:53):
Nice.
Speaker 1 (38:54):
Good.
Speaker 3 (38:55):
How about yourself?
Speaker 1 (38:56):
We're doing fantastic. All right, Tristan, I do live in
Oaklawn as well.
Speaker 8 (38:59):
Give me your best restaurant recommendation for me to go
grab dinner tonight.
Speaker 2 (39:05):
Best restaurant recommendation in Oaklawn, huh?
Speaker 1 (39:07):
Yes. You know what's pretty.
Speaker 7 (39:09):
Good in Oaklawn?
Speaker 1 (39:09):
Huck Finn's. Oh, I've never actually been. I drove past
it all the way.
Speaker 3 (39:13):
Oh, Huck Finn's.
Speaker 1 (39:15):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (39:16):
All right.
Speaker 8 (39:17):
I like that breakfast all day. Well, Tristan, thank you
for joining us for fun to the head today. This
is the trivia game where you answer questions. We get
shot with Nerf darts and you can take one of
us hostage to give you a save. If you don't
know the answer to a question up for grabs today
to see Rob.
Speaker 1 (39:32):
Zombie as he is going to be in town we
want you to be.
Speaker 8 (39:35):
There but first you got to decide who do you
want to take hostage Maria Michael or myself.
Speaker 3 (39:42):
I'll take Maria hostage.
Speaker 6 (39:43):
Nice.
Speaker 1 (39:44):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (39:45):
What a plot twist.
Speaker 3 (39:45):
First time this week not getting picked.
Speaker 1 (39:47):
Give Michael a rest today. Michael, are you ready?
Speaker 3 (39:50):
I'm darn ready.
Speaker 1 (39:51):
Let's go.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
Here we go. These are all questions relating to back
to school. What color is the classic number two pencil
most students use in school?
Speaker 5 (40:02):
Yellow.
Speaker 3 (40:02):
My man.
Speaker 4 (40:03):
One for one.
Speaker 2 (40:03):
Look at the stars. Look how they shine.
Speaker 6 (40:08):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (40:11):
What color is the vehicle that students ride to school generally?
Speaker 6 (40:17):
Yellow.
Speaker 3 (40:18):
A man.
Speaker 7 (40:18):
Boom.
Speaker 3 (40:19):
Three for two. Look at the stars.
Speaker 6 (40:23):
Look how they shine for you.
Speaker 3 (40:29):
If you ask for the bathroom pass and you don't get... No,
I'm kidding. Okay, we're not going to do another yellow.
Speaker 4 (40:35):
Here we go.
Speaker 3 (40:35):
You know what? I like you, Tristan. Let's do this.
What fruit is traditionally given to teachers on the first
day of school?
Speaker 1 (40:41):
Fruit is Apple. You're going, man. You're the winner.
Speaker 6 (40:46):
You got it.
Speaker 3 (40:47):
Awesome. Thank you.
Speaker 1 (40:48):
Rob Zombie.
Speaker 8 (40:49):
Yeah. You're heading to see Rob Zombie. Have you seen
him in concert before?
Speaker 1 (40:52):
No, no. Oh, my gosh. You're going to enjoy this.
Speaker 3 (40:56):
Out of all the years I've been in the business,
there is one artist that people say you cannot miss,
and it is always Rob Zombie. Dude, I'm excited for you.
This is going to be a hell of a show. Right.
Speaker 5 (41:06):
Great.
Speaker 3 (41:07):
Thank you guys so much. Not a problem.
Speaker 1 (41:09):
Oh, that was a nip shot. I didn't even mean it.
Speaker 2 (41:11):
I have been so kind to you. Don't do it again.
Speaker 8 (41:14):
I'm aiming for your arm. But more importantly, Tristan, you're
all set. You have plans on who you want to
take with you to this one. I just dodged this
like the Matrix. I moved just perfect. Tristan is all
set with his tickets. We want you to get set
with your tickets. Don't miss Rob Zombie as he is
(41:36):
going to be in town. Head on over to Ticketmaster.com
to get your tickets today.
Speaker 1 (41:41):
All thanks to our friends from Live Nation.
Speaker 3 (41:46):
They were wasn't long ago. They were at Soldier Field.
Speaker 1 (41:48):
That's one of the wonderful shows over at Soldier this year.
Speaker 3 (41:51):
What a summer of concerts already. We still got Riot Fest.
Speaker 1 (41:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (41:55):
Rock 95.5 Chicago's Rock Station. It's Friday. That means there's
stuff going on around town. I'm going to tell you
all about it. Tomorrow night, we will be out at
House of Blues. Come out and join us. The band
10 is their name. They're a Pearl Jam cover band,
but one of the best I've ever seen. Like I said,
I was on a run in Colorado and they were
playing a park like a park event. And I ran
(42:16):
behind the stage because the running path was there. And
I thought Pearl Jam was on stage. I couldn't even
like stopped and walked around the edge of the stage.
Speaker 1 (42:23):
That's a good cover band. They even look like them.
I mean, it's crazy. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (42:26):
So that'll be fun tomorrow night at the House of Blues.
The Reds rolling to Wrigley for a three game series
this weekend. First pitch today at 120. We are all
on the while the music's playing. We're all getting our
bets in here on YouTube. So if you want to
jump in the YouTube chat, we got video going in there, too.
Speaker 1 (42:40):
We're all kind of. You know. Gambling.
Speaker 3 (42:43):
What do you think, Maris?
Speaker 1 (42:44):
Go all in.
Speaker 3 (42:46):
Wait, let's not get crazy. That's what Maria says. Listen, though,
the Cubs are a huge favorite.
Speaker 8 (42:51):
Against the Reds. I say make your smart bets and
make your money all weekend. Maris is a good gambler.
Speaker 1 (42:57):
I say.
Speaker 2 (42:58):
Go all in.
Speaker 3 (42:59):
And Maria's a gambler.
Speaker 2 (43:01):
All in.
Speaker 3 (43:03):
The White Sox heading over to Minnesota. Take on the
Twins this weekend. Yeah, they're two and a half games
behind first place. The Twins are. Or sorry, the Cleveland is.
So White Sox got. You have to win games. They
got to keep winning for sure. There's no buffer there, really.
The fray will play with Dashboard Confessional at the Huntington
Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island tomorrow night.
Speaker 7 (43:25):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (43:26):
And check this out. Lobster Fest all weekend at Navy Pier. Oh, fancy.
I like it when they I like a festival of
one type of food. And then they take as many
different ways that they could cook it, char it, grill it, whatever.
And oh, my God, the bites.
Speaker 2 (43:41):
I love some lobster.
Speaker 3 (43:42):
Lobster. What's the sandwich they have in the Northeast?
Speaker 2 (43:45):
Lobster roll.
Speaker 3 (43:45):
Lobster rolls.
Speaker 4 (43:46):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 2 (43:47):
See, I don't like a lobster roll.
Speaker 3 (43:49):
Too much bread.
Speaker 2 (43:51):
Too much bread, too much mayo. I don't need all
that hullabaloo. Give me the lobster. The meat itself is good.
Speaker 3 (43:56):
We know what Maria wants. You're all about the meat.
She just wants the raw.
Speaker 1 (43:59):
She's our beast.
Speaker 2 (44:01):
Oh, my God.
Speaker 1 (44:02):
All about the meat.
Speaker 2 (44:03):
I would argue that in this circumstance, I'm red lobster.
Speaker 1 (44:08):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (44:08):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (44:09):
Also, we talked about this earlier on Sunday at recess
here in Chicago. There is a Malort world record attempt
going on. Hundreds and thousands of people, maybe hundreds of thousands,
maybe millions, maybe billions of people are going to come
together at recess.
Speaker 2 (44:23):
Wow, they're going to come together?
Speaker 3 (44:25):
And everybody's going to grab their nips and going to
take a shot of Malort. Well, shooter, whatever you want
to call it, the little shooter bottles.
Speaker 2 (44:30):
How am I going to do that if I'm grabbing
my nips?
Speaker 1 (44:32):
Well, you've got to figure it out.
Speaker 2 (44:36):
I'll figure it out.
Speaker 3 (44:37):
You hold your nips and then you just use your mouth.
You ever do that? You put the shooter in your
mouth and then just tip your head back?
Speaker 2 (44:42):
Not while holding my nips.
Speaker 3 (44:44):
Only me?
Speaker 2 (44:45):
Time for a new thing.
Speaker 3 (44:46):
Great. Lots of stuff going on around town. It's going
to be a fun weekend. There's also Panda Fest. I'm
going to go down to that, I think. Don't forget
about Panda Fest. Grant Park is doing a huge Asian
food festival. Everything from soup dumplings to.
Chow mein, Chinese food, sushi, you name it, it's going
to be down there. And that sounds delicious.
Speaker 2 (45:06):
Yeah, it really does.
Speaker 3 (45:07):
Find out everything going on around town at rock955. com.
Speaker 5 (45:09):
Five-ish things you almost certainly need to know. It's a
hell of a community service.
Speaker 3 (45:21):
I'll tell you that much.
Speaker 5 (45:22):
Things.
Speaker 4 (45:22):
844-955-9550.
Speaker 8 (45:27):
We spending that wheel of rock today. Up for grabs,
staying to rob zombie, breaking Benjamin. Tickets available for you.
Summer's not over. We're going to get some warm weather
all through September, me thinks, and we're going to celebrate
with Live Nation at Credit Union 1 Amphitheater because they
still got some great shows in tow for us.
Speaker 1 (45:46):
If you want to win, 844-955-9550. There have been a
slew of celebrity deaths this week.
Speaker 2 (45:55):
A slew indeed.
Speaker 8 (45:57):
We got news about Peter Cullen, the voice actor. Amazing
voice actor. If you watch cartoons in the 80s or 90s,
you know his voice and you heard it. He was
also the voice of Optimus Prime, Eeyore, on the Winnie
the Pooh series.
Speaker 3 (46:14):
He was Eeyore?
Speaker 1 (46:15):
He was Eeyore. I didn't know that. And just all crying.
Speaker 8 (46:19):
all kinds of great acting credits like Monterey Jack from
Chip and Dale.
Speaker 1 (46:23):
Wow. Damn.
Speaker 2 (46:24):
What range.
Speaker 3 (46:25):
To that I say, oh, bother. Sam.
Speaker 1 (46:29):
Not quite.
Speaker 3 (46:30):
Oh, bother.
Speaker 6 (46:32):
No.
Speaker 3 (46:32):
It's a little better.
Speaker 1 (46:33):
Thoughts and prayers going out to him and his family.
Speaker 8 (46:36):
Toy Story will be making its Disney Plus premiere on
September 25th.
Speaker 1 (46:41):
Oh, bother. For those of you that don't remember. Damn it.
Speaker 3 (46:45):
English.
Speaker 1 (46:46):
Basically, the gang is fighting with digital.
Speaker 8 (46:50):
Technology that the new child is playing with and leaving
the old physical toys behind. Toy Story did make over
a billion dollars worldwide. in theaters, so get ready to
enjoy that. Bad news bears for a bear that broke
in and caused a kitchen fire inside of a house.
Bear breaks into the house and just ripped everything apart,
(47:12):
accidentally turned the stove on. And as the bear is
ripping through the refrigerator and trash in the kitchen, there
was some wood that did catch fire on the stove.
Speaker 1 (47:22):
Bear didn't finish there.
Speaker 8 (47:23):
He went on around the house and was harassing the
couple that was still in the house. They did have
to call 911 to get the bear out. Highly aggressive
bear was euthanized when the team arrived on site. The
residents of the house are okay.
Speaker 2 (47:40):
You know how that bear did that? With its bear hands.
Speaker 1 (47:44):
Oh, bother.
Speaker 2 (47:45):
Pause for reaction.
Speaker 7 (47:46):
Oh, bother.
Speaker 2 (47:47):
That Winnie said, oh, bother, not Eeyore. He did?
Speaker 3 (47:49):
I thought Eeyore said, oh, bother.
Speaker 2 (47:50):
It was Winnie.
Speaker 1 (47:51):
Eeyore just kind of talked like this.
Speaker 3 (47:53):
Eeyore says, oh, bother.
Speaker 2 (47:55):
No, he doesn't.
Speaker 1 (47:56):
Oh, no way.
Speaker 2 (47:57):
Not that anyone's going to miss me.
Speaker 1 (47:59):
Oh, bother.
Speaker 8 (48:02):
Finally, a woman wakes up from a bad dream thinking
she was eating a mouse, but in reality, there was
a bat that flew into her mouth. She got a
rabies shot. The bat is okay. Let's go to the
phone lines here, and let's get a winner for Wheel
of Rock. Who are we speaking with here live on
Rock 95.5?
Speaker 1 (48:25):
Let's try that again.
Speaker 2 (48:26):
No one currently.
Speaker 1 (48:27):
Who are we speaking with live on Rockland? This is Jim.
Speaker 4 (48:30):
Jim.
Speaker 3 (48:30):
This is Jim.
Speaker 5 (48:32):
Hello, buddy.
Speaker 8 (48:33):
How you doing?
Speaker 4 (48:33):
Hello.
Speaker 1 (48:34):
How are you, my man?
Speaker 3 (48:35):
I'm doing great now.
Speaker 5 (48:36):
Oh, good.
Speaker 1 (48:37):
What is up, Jim?
Speaker 8 (48:39):
All right, my man. You got a wheel spin coming
up here. Let's see what tickets you land on. Short wheel.
Speaker 3 (48:47):
Please rob zombie. Please rob zombie.
Speaker 1 (48:50):
He says rob zombie. Hold on. I got the stain
in the black label. I got to fix my glasses here,
so hold on a second. Maris is adjusting. I can't
read his wheel. I don't know what that says. There's
a Z. Oh. R.
Speaker 4 (49:05):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (49:05):
Oh, it is Rob Zombie.
Speaker 3 (49:07):
Did he get it?
Speaker 1 (49:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (49:10):
You are heading over to Credit Union 1 Amphitheater next
weekend because September's here.
Speaker 1 (49:16):
Where's Earth, Wind, & Fire?
Speaker 2 (49:19):
Do you remember?
Speaker 1 (49:20):
But my man, you're all set. Who are you planning
on taking with you to this one?
Speaker 3 (49:25):
My girlfriend, Amy.
Speaker 4 (49:27):
Ooh.
Speaker 3 (49:27):
Amy.
Speaker 1 (49:28):
Take a night with Rob Zombie.
Speaker 3 (49:29):
What you want to do?
Speaker 8 (49:29):
It doesn't get any better than that. My man, you
are all set. Everybody else, go and get your tickets
at Ticketmaster.com. And you guys know we are 95 minutes
commercial free on Rock 95.5. We still got stuff to
give away. We still got a chainsaw left.
Speaker 1 (49:46):
Oh, my God. Yeah, I know. How did we get here?
Speaker 4 (49:49):
Oh, bother.
Speaker 2 (49:51):
No, that's.
Speaker 1 (49:52):
You're right.
Speaker 3 (49:52):
It was Winnie the Pooh, though.
Speaker 2 (49:53):
Yeah, no, I know I'm right.
Speaker 3 (49:54):
I'm just saying it like you are. So Winnie the
Pooh would have been.
Speaker 1 (49:56):
Like, oh, bother.
Speaker 4 (49:58):
A little.
Speaker 2 (49:59):
No, you're making them English.
Speaker 5 (50:01):
Oh, bother.
Speaker 3 (50:03):
Oh, brother.
Speaker 2 (50:03):
You know what?
Speaker 1 (50:05):
I'm fixing this. It's chaps.
Speaker 2 (50:07):
I'll do the acting.
Speaker 5 (50:09):
Now, here's the bit only plug with Maris.
Speaker 2 (50:12):

Speaker 6 (50:13):

I'm going to use my fists.
Speaker 3 (51:11):
What do you want to dress up for Halloween?
Speaker 1 (51:13):
I'll use a weapon. My costume is on the way.
It might actually be here.
Speaker 3 (51:18):
Papa?
Speaker 1 (51:19):
Papa Pump.
Speaker 3 (51:20):
Yeah!
Speaker 8 (51:22):
For those of you that missed this amazing revelation, somehow, someway,
through our stream online, It was basically decided that I'm
going to be a pumpkin for Halloween, and I can't
let the people down, so I got a costume coming.
But yes, Fright Fest. I've never actually been. I've been
around Six Flags Great America for a very long time,
(51:42):
and I've never actually been to Fright Fest, but it's
a lot of fun from what I hear.
Speaker 3 (51:47):
Field trip?
Speaker 2 (51:48):
Field trip?
Speaker 1 (51:48):
Potentially.
Speaker 3 (51:50):
Can we go scare people?
Speaker 2 (51:52):
Well, wait, when does it start?
Speaker 1 (51:54):
Soon.
Speaker 3 (51:55):
Oh, Maria, you know King's Dominion? Yes.
Speaker 1 (51:58):
Give me a dice roll here real quick. Okay. Thank you. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (52:02):
Well, there's a place called King's Dominion and they do
like a fright fest. It's over by Washington, D.C. And
as jocks, we would go and they would paint our faces.
Speaker 2 (52:09):
Roll the dice, Mikey.
Speaker 1 (52:11):
One. All right.
Speaker 6 (52:13):
One.
Speaker 1 (52:13):
Of course.
Speaker 8 (52:14):
Hey, it's Rock 95.5. Who are we speaking with?
Speaker 1 (52:18):
Hey, this is Patty. Patty!
Speaker 2 (52:21):
I love Patty. You always put me in such a
good mood.
Speaker 1 (52:25):
I love you guys. You guys are so fun. Yes. Well,
thank you, Patty. We do appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (52:29):
I can't believe you put up with us, Patty.
Speaker 3 (52:33):
I love you guys.
Speaker 1 (52:34):
I love you.
Speaker 8 (52:35):
Thank you so much, Patty. You're going to Six Flags
Great America. You got a four-pack of tickets for yourself there.
Speaker 3 (52:42):
A four pack is so good.
Speaker 5 (52:43):
I want to scream where they got people sleeping over here.
Speaker 1 (52:45):
Oh, that's fair. That's fair. Yeah, don't wake people up. Now, Patty,
have you been to Fright Fest before?
Speaker 3 (52:53):
I have. Yes, I have.
Speaker 1 (52:55):
Last year was so awesome. What was your favorite part
about it in general?
Speaker 3 (53:01):
Well, for me, I actually rode some of the roller coasters.
Speaker 1 (53:04):
I was so happy about that.
Speaker 3 (53:06):
But those costumes are scary. Those people walking around, they
really are. I found myself closing my eyes.
Speaker 2 (53:14):
Yeah, but Patty, you're a little adrenaline junkie. I bet
you like it a little.
Speaker 8 (53:19):
Yeah, Six Flags doesn't play when it comes to Fright Fest.
That is coming up as I'm allowing speak about Halloween.
Speaker 1 (53:25):
But Patty.
Speaker 8 (53:26):
Thank you for being such an amazing listener. A day one,
if you will. She's been with us from the beginning,
and we appreciate you so much. Like I mentioned earlier,
everybody else, head on over to SixFlags.com slash Great America
to get your tickets, get your passes, get it all
so you don't miss out on the fun.
Speaker 1 (53:46):
And we're still 95 minutes commercial free on Rock 95.5.
I'll say it again. We still got a chainsaw to
give away.
Speaker 8 (53:53):
So be on the lookout for that along with John
Mellencamp right now on Rock 95.5.
Speaker 2 (53:57):
The town is adequately sized.
Speaker 3 (54:06):
Rock 95.5 Chicago's Rock Station. Getting close to the end
of the show here, which means we got it.
Speaker 7 (54:12):
Chainsaw.
Speaker 3 (54:12):
Definitely give away a chainsaw.
Speaker 1 (54:15):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (54:15):
Sorry to cut you off.
Speaker 1 (54:16):
That's okay. Sorry. I like it. I had to do it.
I like it. Yeah. You know. You guys know what
today is.
Speaker 3 (54:25):
You cut with it.
Speaker 1 (54:25):
It's Free Chainsaw Friday.
Speaker 8 (54:31):
B-collar 10 to win that last chainsaw that we've got today.
Speaker 1 (54:36):
Michael, you want to do something now?
Speaker 3 (54:37):
Yeah, let's do some tech. From the 513 Marist, are
you going to be taking a sick day on November
19th for the biggest game release of the century?
Speaker 1 (54:45):
No, I won't be taking a sick day.
Speaker 8 (54:47):
I am going to wait until Easter to buy that
game if I buy that game. Also, I've got to
save my sick days because that next week is International
Marist Week.
Speaker 3 (54:57):
Why are you waiting until Easter?
Speaker 1 (54:59):
When it's on sale. Oh, interesting.
Speaker 6 (55:00):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (55:01):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (55:01):
How much is that game going to cost when it
comes out, you think?
Speaker 1 (55:04):
$ 70 to start, and then if you get the big package,
it's $ 100. Oh, you're.
Speaker 2 (55:08):
Going to get the big package.
Speaker 1 (55:10):
You can get no package until Easter.
Speaker 3 (55:12):
From the 346, from H-Town, I assume that's Houston, Maria
needs to open a daddy daycare for single dads.
Speaker 5 (55:19):
Agreed.
Speaker 3 (55:19):
Let's do it.
Speaker 1 (55:20):
That's a really good idea. How are you going to
take care of them, Maria?
Speaker 2 (55:22):
I have my ways and several tactics. I saw a
number of appendages.
Speaker 3 (55:27):
I saw a parody video online that was like a
waiting area for dads and men at like a target.
Speaker 6 (55:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (55:33):
And they just had like sports on from the 708.
Happy Chainsaw Friday pit. As you just heard on this
glorious Friday, let us remember F the Packers all the time. 100%.
Packers are kind of effing themselves right now. From the 815,
good morning to the baddest rock station in the multiverse. Yesterday,
(55:55):
you guys were talking about the Guitar Hero game coming back.
You have to get that for the studio and play
Slipknot Psychosocial. Maria on vocals, Big M on guitar, and
Michael on drums. That's going to be a sellout to
see on streaming. Love the show, guys. Mike from Bloomingdale.
Speaker 1 (56:12):
We're going to have to hit the show.
Speaker 8 (56:14):
That's an expensive package of gaming items there.
Speaker 2 (56:18):
He'll manage it.
Speaker 3 (56:19):
Maybe we could get the company car. We'll just go
buy it ourselves. Company car! From the 773 this weekend
in Skokie, the Skokie Backlot Bash Music and Food is
going on through Sunday, 6.30 at the Tributosaurus. Oh, no,
the band Tributosaurus plays Santana. Come out and join me.
(56:41):
It's going to be fun. That's Vito. Hell, yeah. Vito.
Speaker 1 (56:44):
Vito.
Speaker 3 (56:45):
That'll be fun. Get your last-minute text in, 844-955-9550. That's 844-955-9550.
Pick a number one through six. Four.
Speaker 1 (56:57):
Rock 95.5. Who are we speaking with?
Speaker 2 (57:01):
Hi, this is Hannah.
Speaker 1 (57:02):
Hannah, you're live on with the Morning Mosh Pit today.
What is today? I can't really remember what today is, Hannah.
Speaker 3 (57:10):
I think it's a Friday, so that must mean that
it's Chainsaw Friday.
Speaker 1 (57:16):
Yeah, absolutely.
Speaker 8 (57:17):
And you are caller 10, Hannah. You got yourself a chainsaw.
What are you going to do with this chainsaw now
that you got one?
Speaker 3 (57:25):
You know, just wreak havoc on the town.
Speaker 2 (57:28):
Obviously.
Speaker 1 (57:29):
I like her. Hannah, where are you from?
Speaker 3 (57:31):
I'm from Lansing.
Speaker 1 (57:34):
Lansing, be on the lookout.
Speaker 8 (57:35):
Hannah's got herself a chainsaw, and she's going to be
out and about. Hannah, please be safe. Don't cut any
fingers off or anything else. But congratulations to you, as
it is Free Chainsaw Friday!
Speaker 2 (57:53):
Gentlemen, You've done it again.
Speaker 6 (57:56):
You've made it to the end of the work week,
and I think you deserve a little something-um-thing for that.
Speaker 1 (58:01):
I'm really upset with you right now.
Speaker 2 (58:03):
Why are you upset with me?
Speaker 1 (58:04):
There's no pizza in this room.
Speaker 3 (58:05):
I want a bonus.
Speaker 1 (58:06):
Is that okay? Well... I want a pepperoni pizza. Extra pepperoni.
Speaker 3 (58:11):
I'll even take the pizza.
Speaker 4 (58:13):
Nope.
Speaker 2 (58:16):
You get verbal praise in song form. The thing that
we all dream of.
Speaker 6 (58:21):
The reason we show up to work five days a week.
Speaker 2 (58:24):
Maris, kick us off.
Speaker 8 (58:26):
This week, we work late, partied late, and I'm not
quite done. Seeing fluorescence at Bottom Lounge for a little
more fun.
Speaker 4 (58:39):
Ah!
Speaker 3 (58:39):
Atta boy, Marist.
Speaker 2 (58:41):
It's been a hell of a week. Atta boy, Marist.
It's been a hell of a week.
Speaker 3 (58:50):
Mikey. Road trip got ugly. Now they're back again. Reds
at Wrigley. Time to attack again. Leave the slump in
the Arizona dust. Home opener energy. A win is a must.
Atta boy, Marist.
Speaker 2 (59:03):
Atta boy, Mikey. It's been a hell of a week.
Speaker 6 (59:08):
Atta We'll be right back. In any weather, tank top
(59:44):
or coat. Yesterday, the morning mosh pit was afloat. Cause baby,
we were out.
Speaker 3 (59:49):
On a boat.
Speaker 2 (59:51):
Atta girl, Palmer. It's been a hell of a week.
Speaker 3 (59:56):
On the morning mosh pit. It's been a hell of
a week.
Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
Oh my God, you guys got the Palmer this time.
Speaker 1 (01:00:06):
So we should get some pizza, right?
Speaker 3 (01:00:07):
Can we do Hawaiian?
Speaker 1 (01:00:10):
Add pepperoni. Oh, jalapeno?
Speaker 3 (01:00:12):
Yeah, I'm fine with that.
Speaker 1 (01:00:13):
That'd be real good. And a little honey butter sriracha
sauce right on top.
Speaker 6 (01:00:17):
Yes!
Speaker 1 (01:00:17):
With that drizzle.
Speaker 3 (01:00:19):
I'm too hungry!
Speaker 1 (01:00:20):
And then you get a little extra cheese crumb on
that bad boy.
Speaker 8 (01:00:23):
And then the crust is buttered and crunchy.
Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
Crunchy crust. Oh, my God.
Speaker 6 (01:00:28):
Oh, my.
Speaker 4 (01:00:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:00:29):
Oh, yeah, baby. Ow!
Speaker 6 (01:00:34):
On the Morning Marsh Bit.
Speaker 3 (01:00:37):
It's been a hell of a week.
Speaker 2 (01:00:40):
You can go buy some pizza now.
