Speaker 1 (00:00):
Time for name is what's trending.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
Shout out to everybody that dressed up as like one
of the most popular Halloween costumes this year, Deadpool and Wolverine,
because there's a full blown celebration happening. Disney Plus has
just announced the premiere date for when you can watch
it at home. So seen it yet waiting for This
is a really good movie. I can't tell you the
last time I went to the theaters. I always wait
for these days.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
Seriously, I know I like it. I'm just lazy. I
love the movie theater. If I could live there, I would.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
Is a little troll that lives in the movie theater.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
I sit down and it's like, ow, this is my bed,
Get off to sleep. Her little crunches. Anyway.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
It is coming November twelfth, streaming on Disney Plus.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
So that is something that you can look forward.
Speaker 4 (00:46):
To, and that's quick.
Speaker 5 (00:47):
I'm excited me too, because I only go to the
movies with my daughter and you can't.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
She can't see this so highest grossing rated R movie
of all time. Wow, Yeah, it was really good though.
I'm excited, Okay, tease, I can't wait either. This is
exciting if you're a gamer, or you just really appreciate
the music of Nintendo. Nintendo's cracked open. It's forty year
of vault of video games soundtracks, and they've got a
new app. They called it It's very creative Nintendo Music.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
He listen, but I love naming things what they are.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
So with the Nintendo Music app, you can go through
and relive all of your favorite classic moments with Super
Mario Brothers, Legend of Zelda.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
Donkey Kong. I mean, you name it, it's yours. Oh that's fun.
I know that.
Speaker 5 (01:35):
I just like it when the enemies of Mario laugh
at him. It's like, really funny.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
I always have the one sound from it was like,
I think the first Mario Brothers.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
But you know when they go through the dungeon, it's
that den Yeah, when the music it's all dark and scary. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
And then anytime you see somebody wearing all denim, you're like, denom, deno, denna.
Speaker 4 (01:54):
Yeah, No, that's I will now.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Yeah, you can't hear that. Wow, you're welcome.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
And lastly, there's a new gen z trend. We haven't
talked about you gen z ors and your trends lately,
but this time it's the aesthetically pleasing TSA checkpoint bins.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Have we talked about this? We didn't talk about that.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
I was wondering, but I just wanted to bring it
up because it's really been catching on, really been making
a lot of steam. People are taking the time to
make sure that their bins are organized beautifully, with their purses,
their shoes, their toiletries.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Not everything has to be esthetic. It has to be
aesthetically pleasing. Does it's a lot better? Victoria's is burrito aesthetic?
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Today I was behind somebody and they were taking the
time to organize their bin so it could be aesthetically pleasing.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
I would hit them.
Speaker 5 (02:38):
Why I would rather spend time in the back room
with the TSA then sit there and want somebody organize
their damn bin.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
If you went back there and you're like, sir, I'm
sorry that I did that they were organizing their bin
to be esthetically pleasing and taking pictures of it, they'd
be like, you're free to go.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
We're gonna go, We're going to.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
Please.
Speaker 5 (03:02):
I know that they're going to Gate D twelve because
it took twelve minutes for them to put their boarding
pass just right, And I see, yeah, that's.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Really funny as I can't believe this and how fast
it happened. Countdown for Eric and Lyle Menendez to be
released from jail is on already.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
Yeah, what's the calend?
Speaker 2 (03:19):
I know you guys have strong feelings about this, but
I just feel like, since we started sharing this story,
we need to see it all the way through, okay,
and we're going to see it all the way through.
So you know the story of the Menendez brothers, if
you watched on Netflix, kind of got them to this
point where after murdering their parents, they're going to be
released from prison potentially on December eleventh.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Yeah takes me say it like that.
Speaker 4 (03:40):
What how does it go that quick?
Speaker 1 (03:42):
Okay? So basically they have a new lawyer.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
The whole idea now is to present to the judge
that okay, this isn't it's manslaughter, not the other one. Okay,
So it's a it's a new evidence, it's it's a
lesser charge, and there's new evidence, all of this stuff.
Evidence basically saying that everything that they were claiming about
the bas true as opposed to what they ended up believing,
which was that they were full of it. So now
(04:06):
people are more inclined to be empathetic towards their story
and are saying, Okay, so this is going to be
the lesser murder charge, and if that's true, then they've
already served three times they were supposed.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
To the countless number of people in prison who are
there for the same exact reason, but nobody made a
movie about them, yeah, right, or the people that are
in prison on charges for weed as their third strike, right.
I mean, to me, that's sad because yeah, maybe if
it should be reduced to manslaughter, okay, but what about
(04:41):
all the other people nobody's made a movie about them
so they don't get out, you know, Like, to me,
that's very sad.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
It is sad, and that's why it's wild.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
And that's why I feel like we have to see
this all the way through because it's either like the
power is awesome or really uncomfortable.
Speaker 5 (04:55):
But I feel like if justice system is meant to
be void of public opinion, yeah, but it doesn't matter,
it's irrelevant. A jury put them off, their peers, put
them where they needed to be.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
But now you're easing that's how it goes.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
And now you even have people in power like judges
that are being swayed by the voice of the people
they fired.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
They're technically not supposed to be well.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
And whether it's that or maybe they truly believe that
this is one of those things. And I know that
there's plenty of people out there that truly believe that
they should be released. So either way, whatever side you're on,
it's very interesting that December eleventh could be their release day.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
I feel like though, also, now this just proves that
if they want something to happen, it can happen fast. Like, hey,
that's a good point. That is a good point going
at a certain space pace.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
They're always talking about the legal system, it could take
years whatever. Well, apparently if Hollywood makes a movie about
it and you get Kim Kardashian behind it, they can
make it happen in a matter of weeks.
Speaker 4 (05:46):
That's impressive.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
It's wild, It really is. This is what the people
should be studying in college. Now they have the Taylor
Swift classes, Like.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
This is like really.
Speaker 4 (05:57):
Out of jail.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
You can just see that on TikTok. That works too.
Speaker 5 (06:02):
The only opinion that matters is the twelve people who
already decided, right, that's it, and what was it being
retried before this movie, or it just all came up
because of the movie.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
Well, I guess I wouldn't feel so strongly about it
if they were already you know, if there was an
appeal and it was already in process and they'd done
all this stuff and then the movie came out.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
But because of the movie seems weird.
Speaker 5 (06:23):
To I think there's been multiple appeals, but that's just
the process of how it goes, right, right, And I
think a couple have denied. Yeah, yeah, so you've had
multiple denied appeals and now all of a sudden because
of movie and.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
Kim Kardashian, who's trying to shine light on what it
is that they're doing while they're in jail, so like
they're paving college degree there.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
I'm just telling you what it is.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Yeah, that's what's been presented.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
So, I mean, there are a lot of innocent people
that get locked up, and a lot of people that
should not be locked up the way they're locked up,
and I think that they should all be out or
given a lesser charge if it's deserving. I just think
it's sad that because of a movie is made and
then celebrities get behind it, they can make things happen
so quickly.
Speaker 5 (07:04):
Yeah, most of those innocent people didn't take a shot
under their parents.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
Correct, say it like that, because that's what happened. Do
you want to hear this other story too, or there's
other stories like that?
Speaker 3 (07:14):
Well yeah, in a second, I almost to say, but
like there's stories of people who I've gotten out and
they're they're innocent, right, but they've been in They were
in prison for like twenty years because they were trying
to appeal, but it was held up in the courts
because there's no Kim Kardashian behind.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
It, and they've never been there in the first place, right.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
I mean, I would hate it if the menindas Brothers
stuff is getting jumped up above people who have been
waiting in the system for years here, only because Hollywood
made a movie about it. Yeah, and I think that's wrong. Yeah,
that's preferential treatment, for sure.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
That's sad. It is.
Speaker 5 (07:45):
We should not put up a company that does movies
about people who are not famous making the movies.
Speaker 4 (07:50):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying, make movies about people are
not famous. She get out of prison.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
They do have that. There's a whole series so that Yeah, let's.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
Just do it anyway.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
You can make a movie about this guy who's trying
to be famous, but I guess is already kind of famous.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
Have you guys heard of role Model?
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (08:05):
He opened for Grace Abrams.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
Okay, so role Model is an up and coming artist
and he has taken to his social media to let
the fans know how he really feels about the fact
that Harry Styles has won Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine,
because apparently role Model was the runner up, and so
these are his strong feels.
Speaker 6 (08:22):
So I hope you're happy. And to People Magazine, I'm
treading lightly here. You had an opportunity to really do
something for the culture, to create this beautiful ending to
an underdog story, and you did it.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
He'd been lobbing for himself.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
He wanted to win this so bad, like he had
been actually like starting a whole campaign in posts trying
to rally people around him. And the fact that Harry
Styles he's one is just like, Okay, well Harry is
not going to care.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
Nobody cares. I care, but you know cool, I'll be
the underdog.
Speaker 5 (08:54):
You messed up two things, naming yourself role Model bold move, sir, Yes,
you can't do anything to mess up now. And then
number two, the least sexy thing you can do is
tell people you're sexy.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
So I'm with People People Magazine on this role model sexy.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
Kind of honestly, on stage, I kind of I was like,
you're pretty hot.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
I mean, okay, stage effect.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
It's a stage effect.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
You realized you wouldn't notice him, but on.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
Stage, like, honestly, yeah, but his real name is Tucker.
Also that's also cool name. That's a good name's not
a bad name, not hot.
Speaker 4 (09:32):
It's probably his last Why do I do it like that?
Speaker 1 (09:34):
So that's what's trending.
