Train Dreams, a film acclaimed by critics, is a slow
moving American drama about a simple, hard working man whose
life is all about struggle and loss. It's the story
of Robert Grenier, working as a logger and a railroad
laborer in the Pacific Northwest. He marries the love of
his life, Gladys. They have a beautiful daughter named Kate
and dream of living a happily ever after life in

their cabin. While Robert is far from his family working,
a wildfire claims the lives of his family and he's
left alone, finding refuge in nature. It is slow moving,
but beautifully filmed and very impactful, with a top flight
performance by Joel Edgerton an emotional narration by actor Will Patton.
