Speaker 3 (01:40):
Are you not do that?

Speaker 1 (01:42):
No, I can't do that. They're good. How are you doing, coach?

Speaker 3 (01:45):
I'm doing bad. I can't have no complaint.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
Good? Good?

Speaker 1 (01:49):
You got your garden all set and your tomatoes all set?

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Yeah, I've got it. I've got about seventy five of
them out. I check them every day.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
That's unreal. Seventy five out of one hundred. Lawd's gonna
be happy it was. I said, you planted seventy five
out of one hundred.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
Didn't you?

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Yeah? I got yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
Well I thought.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
It got a little cold the other day, and I
worried about them praising, but they didn't.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Yeah, there you go planning them. But oh you had
to do that before, but you didn't have to do
it this time.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Huh.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
I planned them too early?

Speaker 1 (02:24):
You did you?

Speaker 3 (02:28):

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Are we done with the cold weather? Coach?

Speaker 4 (02:32):
I hope, yeah, but I hope so Okay, All.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Right, y'all got a big service. Planning this Sunday at
your church.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
No different than any other Sunday.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
I mean it's Easter, coach, Yeah, Easter, but uh.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Well we go to Sunday school and that church every Sunday.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
There you go, Coach. I saw somebody sent a sign
that a church posted and says East comes once a year.
How often do you come?

Speaker 4 (03:07):
That's cold, isn't it.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Coach. I was like, well, that's a good message. That's
a good message. Easter comes Sunday. I know you do.
He used to go on Wednesday. But you don't have
Wednesday night church or Sunday night church anymore.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
We went on we had Sunday night. We go on.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Wednesday, right, but no Sunday night church.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Have a simple mail on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Right, Okay, Yeah, a meal and that's meet and Greek.
That's what it is, okay, Coach. I saw video of
the A Day game. There wasn't very many people at that. Well,
it ain't really an A day game anymore. It was well,
they didn't play it as a game. I don't understand
what these folks are doing, Coach. College football is so

(03:52):
different now. I don't have a clue.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
But they still got to play on the following Saturday,
so somewhere they got to get ready to play.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Well, coach. I'm like, you, you can't hide your players forever.
I don't know what it means.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
That what he's done now to letting anybody see what
he had.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Everybody's doing that coach, all of them said that they
didn't want everybody to see their talent. I'm like, that's crazy.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
No spring game.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
No, so they did some light lineup, situational stuff. No
spring game. Yeah, I don't understand that. You said you
used it to try to get your depth chart built up, right,
And I.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Won't know who's gonna be the number one quarterback, number
two quarterback, number one running back in the spring practice?
I know who and Paul who's gonna be the starters?

Speaker 1 (04:43):
There? You go, very good point, very good.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
I'm not coaching anymore or something. I may be doing
it long, but that's why I did it.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
No, I think that's a good way. I you know
Alabama's quarterback coach. Do you think he's a good would
be a good pro player?

Speaker 3 (05:01):
You know what I've say, nothing. I think you will
have a chance.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Yeah, they say he's so fast.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
Coach said that again.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
They say he's really fast. So I don't know.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
I don't know he up a quarterback that could run
get out of trouble.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
He can do that.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
Yeah, yeah, yeah at the Offlin Port.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
You're right, you're right. Did you watch a master's coach occasionally?

Speaker 3 (05:27):
I don't watch them all the time.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
No, did you watch your Masters last weekend?

Speaker 3 (05:32):
So the Masters? I thought you said the maver.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
I know, I know, I meant the Masters.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Yeah, yeah, I watched him.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
How's the heck of a finish, wasn't it?

Speaker 3 (05:40):
It really was? And it's just a guardious course.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
I know.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
If people hadn't been down to Augusta. They love God,
they make a mistake, but not going to.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
You been there, haven't you coached?

Speaker 3 (05:53):
I've never been to the Masters, but I've been to Augusta.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Oh well, okay, did you play on Augusta?

Speaker 3 (05:59):
I played a Wow?

Speaker 1 (06:01):
What was that like, coach?

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Well, it's just exactly what I thought it was. I
mean every thing about a gust of that people don't realize.
And half fast those greens guard. I mean you could
just barely hit the ball, it'll roll ten or fifteen
feet fast and.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Hold how about that?

Speaker 3 (06:23):
I don't see how in the world you cannot afford
to three puts. Most of the holders. Wow, those brows
they don three puff many holes.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
I wonder how they can simulate that, coach.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
I don't think you can.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
So they're really fast.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
At you're like just like butting on the hardwood floor.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
What you mean fast? Oh?

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Fast?

Speaker 4 (06:49):
Yeah? Okay, okay, you're gonna put on the hardwood floor.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
That thing's gonna roll forever.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Yeah, you're right, that's.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
I mean, those greens are really fast.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
They make them that way for a reason, don't they. Coach? Yeah,
who'd you play with?

Speaker 3 (07:07):
A guy? I called him? Mine told him? I said
that he trained to Mine said, I've got a deal
for you. He's always want to go to august want
to go to Augustin. I said, we're gonna get in
your jet by the Paris, Texas picked me up. We're
gonna go to Augusta. We're gonna play golf, and then

(07:28):
we want to get through. We're gonna get back in
her jet from Paris, Texas. You let me have then,
I don't care where you go up from that.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
And it was done.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
He said, you got the deal, golly.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
And you took him up to the Augusta and y'all
play golf and he took you home, and you don't
care where he went. Yeah, it wasn't my buddy Ricky,
was it.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
No, he really loved play golf.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Well, that's awesome. You know what. That was a good
bargaining ship for you.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
Well, it was. It was good for both of us.
He he always wanted to couldn't get in that. I
think I can have you get in.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
That's awesome.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
That's what happened.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Was Billy Payne around when you were there, Coach, was
Billy Payne in charge when you were there? You don't,
that's all right, that's all right. Coach Washburn got out
of the hospital and he's doing good. By the way,
Dan Washburn, he's doing much better. He's out in the bout,
ain't he's yeh, he's yeah, he's out in the bout.

Speaker 4 (08:27):
Coach.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
Well, he's a good man. And he can't keep a good.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Man, damn long, No, sir, you can't. And I'll let
him know you said that.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
Good. I'm hoping that everything goes well for.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
He's doing good. That they put a couple of stints in.
He had a couple of heart attacks. But but other
than that, I mean, not that that's not enough, but
they were able to handle that and he's doing better now, Coach.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
So, yeah, I had a heart attacked foo strokes and
I'm still going.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
So we've been under a tractor, we've been out in
the woods all night. I ain't go down a long
list of more, Coach, if we want to get personally.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
Forget no, sir, kind of.

Speaker 1 (09:16):

You don't want you don't want it.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Great Southern wood doesn't have the other tag on every
face of wood.

him send a bunch of folks to school to scholarships.
