Good Petty Ish Podcast. Welcome backto another episode as Petty. I'm Kayla,
I'm kt kat. How you feeling, girl, girl? Whenever I
get sick, I get sick forlike a long time that you guys know.
(00:22):
Last weekend, last episode, Iwas STARRSV but I still have a
cough. Now I have fatigue.But I also think it's because I've just
been doing too much lately. I'vebeen going, going, going, going
going for work and for different things, and I haven't had the proper time
to actually try to get better. My second, or it was my third
time going to the doctors was actuallytoday, so I went today. They
(00:44):
prescribed it was actually just like anhour ago or a five. They prescribed
me like some steroids and inhaler oohto help you breathe, because yeah,
I was like, I never hada haler ever, No have you?
Yeah? Well yeah, I usedto have asthma. I thought, okay,
that's what I thought it was forthat. It was for people who
have asthma, but not for peoplewho just have a cough. But he
said that it might help because whenI cough it's like a weezy cough.
(01:06):
Yeah, I guess so, sohe got me that plus some coughs,
and so hopefully that works because Ihave another crazy weekend coming up. You
know, we got something coming upon Friday. Oh yeah we do.
I'm like, what we got?Yeah, we definitely do that super Bowl.
Yeah that's nothing, really good.Yeah, well, did you have
time to do anything petty while youwere sick? Yeah? People got me
(01:26):
fucked up, hippy. I'm sickof people have an attitudes. And it's
like somebody that who doesn't really evenusually work here, but he works here
every once in a while when hedecides that he wants to show up.
I know he works overnights sometimes, but sometimes he's scheduled for like a certain
time and he won't come into likean hour later. I guess because he
thinks, because it's overnights, noone's here, no one will know.
(01:49):
And it's really annoying because I doovernights. I do like nights. I
go it's from ten to two am, so it's like I need a producer,
I need somebody here, and whenhe's not here, it's kind of
like, well seriously, so,but he was here the other day and
I needed help with something, andI went up to him and I was
like, Hi, you know, can you help me with blah blah blah
blah blah. Won't even say andhe was like whoa, whoa, whoa,
(02:10):
whoa, whoa. I got toomuch right now, can't you see
I'm doing or something like that, boy or Ryan, how dare you?
But the thing is, my othercoworker had a problem with him, like
a few weeks ago two with himjust having an attitude when she simply just
asked for something. Show matters, how it sounds matter. Your job is
(02:32):
to make it sound. Don't getme started ahead. So yeah, I
was like, I was like takenback and I was like again, I
need you to do this, thisand this period. And then he was
like I guess he didn't expect meto repeat myself with more authority. Yeah,
And I was like again, Ineed you to do this, like
it wasn't really a request, likeyou have to do this for me,
(02:53):
that's well, that's just a job. Yeah. And I'm always super nice
whenever it comes to anybody or I'mworking with him, all it's polite.
I always say please or thank youso much. But the attitude he gave
me, rolling his eyes saying Igot too much right now. He was
like, all these all these stationsare asking me to do all these things.
He just went on like a minirant, and I was like,
again, can I need you todo this like I do it? He
(03:16):
did it, and then I walkedaway and that was it. I mean,
that's not really petty, but like, you're not gonna bulldoze over me
and expect me not to stand upfor myself and know my place and my
role. You know what, maybeit's because you're small and you have a
huge smile and a welcoming personality, people probably think like you're pussy and I
can bully her absolutely, and you'relike, yeah, no, I'm not
(03:38):
the one. They find out thehard way. I think that a lot
of times in my life in differentareas, not just work, people underestimate
me because I am little, Ilook young, I'm not a huge smile,
so you look like super friendly, like you don't get mad, right,
No, But like I had tolearn to, you know, make
myself bigger in other ways. It'snot in a rude, disrespectful way,
(04:00):
but like I'm almost thirty, You'renot gonna treat me like a little kid.
So if I need to get louderor if I need to be more
you know, authoritative in my voiceor in my tone, I'm gonna do
that. And people don't expect that. And also I have a very powerful
voice. That's why I was gonnasay, your power is in your voice.
My voice is very grown mature, like it probably sounds older than I
(04:21):
look, right, And so whenI speak, people don't expect me to
like sound the way that I do. Yeah, And so I automatically command
attention when I speak. And thatis like my one thing that I'm like
super proud of when it comes tomyself because I can be you know,
insecure in other ways, but whenit comes to my voice, I will
I will capture your attention with theway that I speak. You will hear
(04:43):
me. You will absolutely hear me. Period. I love it. I
don't think that's patty. I thinkthat's respect. Yes. I on the
other hand, wasn't so balfly.I had a friend called me the other
day and she was so upset andshe's like, you know, Kayla,
because you know, I have thesituation with my locks, And she was
like, Kayla, I had anightmare hair stylist too. You will not
(05:03):
believe what happened. I went toher salon. I booked this appointment and
I was trying to get maybe aBrazilian blowout or something like that. And
the woman when I came in,she found out, you know, I'm
Mexican and black, and she wassaying that you know something about her not
knowing her hair, blaming her blackside for certain things, cursed her out,
(05:25):
kicked her out in Spanish, like, refused to do the woman's hair,
my friend's hair, and my friendwas just like really up to like
I've never experienced anything like this,Like I booked it on groupon. I
was super nice to her. Idon't know why she met me with that
energy. It sounded to me likesubtle racism. But she was like very
Black History Month, not doing ourmom So I'm like, all right,
what are we gonna do? Sowe decided to call Shorty and book an
(05:49):
appointment. She opened it out Ithink nine point thirty, and I'm like,
I really need you to come inearlier. I need this Brazilion blowout
in highlights like Money's not a tick. I know, right, I'm such
an asshole for my Google number andI'm like, Money's not a thing,
like I really need this. Igot eighteen inches of hair. I have
an important day and I need youto like, can you please come in
at eight o'clock for me? Ijust really really need my hair done and
(06:09):
I don't care charge me extra,I'll pay whatever. So I booked the
appointment. She came in extra early. I had like seven miss calls that
morning, like I felt like shit, But we were at the bar having
on martinis and you're not gonna racisslykick out my friend. You don't have
to wake up the next day andgo there and waste your time. You
were a no show. I wasa no show. My name was as
(06:30):
Morelda. I had eighteen inches worthof hair. I tried to put on
my little Spanish accent so she wouldn't, you know, be racist to me.
And yeah, she booked me.She was really happy. I was
like, what now we're gonna getthat wasn't it? That wasn't it.
I was gonna say, y'all offair. I thought we were all fair.
I was about to say, ohmy god, I know they're freaking
out, but yeah, girl,So yeah that's what I did, and
(06:55):
I booked the appointment, and yeah, yo, okay, yeah, me
and my friend were That is ultimatelypetty, but it's black history. Montsel
rise up and don't ever like tellsomebody about their hair and what side is
like, don't do that, don'tdo that. My thing is like,
if you're going to be a hairstylist, I don't care. I feel like
you should. You should educate yourselfin all types of hair. You should
(07:15):
be volt versatile. I don't careif you're white. I don't care if
you're black. If you're black, you should know how to do white people
here. I feel like, ifyou're white, you should know how to
do black people here, especially inthe area that we live in. We
live in California, right, themajority the mad diversity, a lot of
black people, a lot of Hispanics. So to say that you don't know
what and then also like your servicesare on Groupon, so like clearly you're
(07:38):
not that good or like not thatestablished yet to be kicking customers out and
curse them out. You're STI tryingto build yourself. You got to put
yourself on Groupon even when I wastrying to book youself. Oh did you
get it from Groupon? Like no, I just found you and I really
wanted you, but clearly all yourclients come from Groupon because you're not that
talented and you're not that nice.So petty things our listeners have done.
My bad, It's all right.Boo cheated, And before I broke up
(08:01):
with him, I convinced him toget matching tattoos. He went first,
then I went home. I thinkwe've seen that before, and I loved
that. I love that. Ibought my three year old a drum kit.
I bought it for him to playat his dad's house. Those things
he loud as hell, my god, children have like those little machine sets
thing loud ye kids, and theynever stop beating on it. So to
(08:26):
put that at the dad's house hilarious. Torture, torture, torture. We
had a week end, honey,we did, or you had a wee
goned, we gotten, but thenyou had a gone. My week was
good. We went out for Grammy'sweekend. We said, we'll go to
a Grammy's party. So we hitup the highlight room. And that was
my first time going to a highlightroom with you or at all period.
(08:50):
But now I see why you loveit, like, oh my god,
music, vibes, views, sections, drinks, skipping lines. Seeing Kyler
Pride out front, I'm like,is she where I missed? Kyla?
I wasn't trying to be obvious, okay, because I was like, oh
my god, girls look and Iwas like in the back, you girls
were all ahead of me, soI wanted to wait till we got past
her. And I was like, that's told my sister Lea. Did you
(09:11):
see Kyla Pratt? And she waslike, no, where is she?
She was like standing by the valetand her hair was in braids, so
she had the back of her headto us and it looked like she worked
valet. But if you went toher front, I'm like, no,
that's not a valet worker. That'sliterally my childhood Kyla Pratt. But wasn't
she at the Grammys because I swearI saw a video of her and Halle
Bailey together. They were hugging, and I guess Kyla was like I love
(09:31):
you, and Hallie goes, doyou know who you are? You're Kyla
Pratt, Like I grew up onyou, like you raised me, like
that kind of thing. I sawher at Miley Cyrus like I met Hannah
Montana, but I didn't see thething for Kyla Pratt and that's freaking awesome.
That's what I want. So yeah, we had an amazing time drinks
again sections we left street tacos, street casadillas. She just had a time
(09:54):
time. And then we cursed thatguy out. I don't remember that.
No, wasn't that drunk or youjust had a wee gond and he was
so irrelevant, but we were waswhen we left the club and the guy
was sitting in the parking lot andhe was like trying to talk to my
sister. I think yes, Andthen he was video do you did you
record? Yes? Klo? What? Oh my gosh, I forgot.
(10:18):
She can't laugh without coughing. Wait, what was the reason I forgot?
I know? He called me awhore, and I'm like a horror you
can never ever, ever ever touch, So I'll be that go home alone.
It was the thing I forgot. What happened. He went into his
car. Y'all were still yelling ateach other while he was in his car.
He's about to drive off and hegot out and starting to come in.
(10:39):
We're scared. I'm like, ohshit, you're supposed to drive off
and ended you're want to come back? And were close to me. He
was cursing me out like I forgotwhat I said. I know I said
something smart and rude because whatever, and yeah, he definitely hold up because
how bad was all right? Iwant to know. I was very drunk.
(11:01):
I try to put it up here. All right, you're not the
type of guy I was trying toSo your opinion means, what am I
going? I'll be that? CanI mamillionaire wild take me out tonight?
Can you in your coldport? Youweren't disrespected, You're engaging him. You
(11:35):
would have off off is always doingthat as trying to control me. You
can't control me. I forgot aboutthat. But how did that even happen?
I really don't know. I reallyit's the audacity and you're little ass,
small ass Kia, Like how areyou going to be talking all that
big talk in a Kia? Thatwas crazy and read crazy? But I
(11:58):
will be honest. I like, again, that wasn't the best decision.
When he got out of the carand started coming to us, I was
like, very scared that he wasgoing to hit us or because we're not
stronging than the man. At theend of the day, I felt like
it was fine. Because we werein public and there's a lot of people
around. Plus there were so manyof us. It's not like he wasn't
even that big. People get beatup at public every day. Dogs.
People are not going to stop it, they're going to record it. I
just didn't think that he's gonna beworld getting like pathetic that I didn't like.
(12:20):
He seemed nothing. You're right, thought you're right because he was all
bark and none of that. Butthose be the ones, you know.
I just I don't never trust noman coming at me, cursing at me.
But I clearly in that moment didn'tcare at all. So but yeah,
that was awesome. We didn't gethome for like four thirty in the
(12:41):
morning after going back to your house. Yeah, so those tacos were bombed.
They were so I love drunk tacos, like I love the fact that
in La you just leave any cluband there's street vendors outside. It's my
favorite thing. But I went homethat night and I woke up at what
twelve noon the next day because wegot in so late, and I have
all these miscalls and text messages fromwork because we were having the La storm
(13:03):
hit that Sunday and clearly. Iwork in news, so breaking news was
this storm. They needed me tocome in earlier to produce an extra show
and stay later to extend my lastshow. So I was working in extra
long shift. I produced three showsthat Sunday, last minute and hungover,
sleep deprived, missed my Grammys partythat night because I was supposed to go
(13:24):
to a Grammy's party and meet SylvesterSloan's publicist. I know, but I
didn't got. I worked thirty.I'm like, I'm hung over, I'm
going to bed. I'm not going. I'm not going. But you went
to sisters party, period, girl. It was a weekend. It was
it was oh, forget okay,So let me think. So Sunday was
Grammy's right, Yeah, I wasn'thung over the next day for some like
(13:46):
I guess I managed myself. Wellyou did great, but I okay.
So the way that I got intoScissors Grammy's party wasn't an invite through anybody
there. It was through my nailtech. So my nail tech, she's
like a celebrity nails nail tech. She does nails for a tie dollar sign.
She's done CARDI B like she islike up there and she knows people
(14:07):
with T d E and TD isTop Dog Entertainment, which is his label.
She I guess her boyfriend also islike a manager of artists and stuff
like that. So she she's prettypopping and so me and her were pretty
cool, you know, but weshe was just like, hey, like,
I can probably get you into ascissors ticket scissors party, and I
think it's cause she want to rolla loud tickets from Kiss. So she
(14:35):
got me in. She got meon the list. I was like,
can I bring a plus one?She said no, She's like she was
only able to get me in.So leading up to the Grammy event,
I was like super nervous. Iwas talking to Kate, Le, was
talking to my friend Joy and everybody. I was like, do I go
by myself? This is like ascissor party, like who knows who will
be there? And I had toshow up alone? Like what? And
(14:56):
I was like when everyone's like, well, why don't you go with the
girl all who's you know, thenail tech? And I texted her.
I was like, hey, it'sokay if I like link with you when
I get there, and she waslike, well, I don't know because
I'm gonna go. I'm gonna begoing with my boyfriend and his artists,
and we're gonna be in Breezy's section. And I don't really know if I
can get you and not Breezy likeChris Brown, brazy from All American.
(15:18):
Okay, yeah, so what No? I just like, I mean,
I do, I do understand.I guess I understand. She can't.
She can't. Yeah, So shewas like she would have to ask,
And so I had in my mind, okay, I'm going alone. Mind
you. I have gone to somany different events, but never alone.
So I this was like a differenttype of anxiety for some reason. And
(15:39):
it was Sissa, who's the topGrammy nominated artist of this year. She
won three, So you're like atthe popping party to be at this year.
Absolutely, and during her acceptance speechfor Song of the Year or whatever,
she shouted out tde which was itwas the tea part party. Yeah.
So I'm like, man, I'mso sorry, I'm sorry. So
(16:00):
I'm like, man, I haveto go. I have to go,
like there's no like she shut like, this is the party. And so
I had got in my outfit.I had a dress that I had it
was like a dress that I wasgonna wear on a date and that never
happened. It was real. Itwas like actually because the event was black
tie, so I was like,it needs to be classy, nothing too
(16:22):
much like and it was a greendress that was super like snatched. It
went all the way down to thefloor. So I was like at first,
I wasn't gonna go. And Iwas like going back and forth,
and I was like, Kayla, this will help your confidence so much,
so much, and if you andeven if you go and stay for thirty
minutes, you will be so proudof yourself for just going and put putting,
pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. You will be so proud of
(16:45):
yourself. Yeah, and you wereso proud of yourself, and I was,
so I took a few shots beforeI went. Mind you pouring down
rain, disgusting, disgusting, bloodedeverywhere, potholes everywhere, cential. So
I was like, I gotta goget in my uber And I get there
and I text her. I waslike, hey, I'm on my way.
She's like, just so you know, just heads up. The line
(17:07):
is crazy. Don't know if you'llbe able to get in. I'm in
the uber already and I'm like, well, I'm already on my way.
Do you think it's worth it?She doesn't respond, and then I double
text her again. I was like, is there any way? She was
like, I went through the backdoor, and I was like, well,
is there any way you can getme through the back door? And
she was like, I'll try tosee. I love that you're not scared
to ask, like you know whatyou don't you don't mind coming off,
but I'm always nervous. I'll belike pestering some yeah, yeah no.
(17:30):
And I also think it was Iwasn't. She's super cool and I knew
that she like she wanted me tobe there, and also because she wents
tickets for Rolling Loud, so likeI knew that in order for me to
hook her up, like she gottagive me in. So I knew that
it was gonna be you know.So so she's like, I'll try to
(17:51):
get you through the side door.So she tells me where to go.
I get out of my uber andgo to the side door. Mind you,
that's the side for the celebrities, right, So that's what I gotta
manifest. So I go over thereand I see all these models and these
like influencers and girls that I recognizefrom Instagram that have millions of followers.
Mind, you were all like huddledunderneath by this door in the pouring rain,
(18:12):
you know, umbrellas and our hoodsover our heads, trying to see
if we can get into through theside door. All of a sudden,
I'm there for probably like two minutes. I looked to my left. Who
did I see? Chris freakin Brown? You love him? I love him
because he has beautiful in person toyou, absolutely nice. He came with
a huge ass entourage, and inmy mind, I'm like, what if
(18:37):
I just blended in with them?Like what if I just like he came
with a bunch of girls. Whatif I just curtsied my way in,
you know, shimmeyed my way inand just acted like and just walking with
them. My mind goes worst casescenario when I heard he doesn't like chocolate,
girls, like, get your darkass out of my fucking unto ride
and respectful because he's Chris Brown andthat's what he does. Oh, I
(19:00):
be and get out. That's justwhat I'd be scared of. Personally interesting,
I didn't think of what happened.So I chickened out. I had
the opportunity. I don't want youto be embarrassed by that man, right
awful. I'm glad I didn't either. I chickened out and I could have
had the opportunity, but the lastminute I was like, no, I'll
just wait, I'll just wait.I'll just wait. And so his whole
(19:21):
entourage went in. They were likesaying, you need a name. Anybody
who gets to this door, youneed a name. Somebody got to come
get you, like, and ithas to be somebody of important, right.
So I'm like, bro, whatdo I do? Like, oh
my gosh. So I text mymail girl and I'm like, hey,
they're saying, if somebody from theinside comes out and gets us with a
(19:42):
name, they can let me in. She was like, all right,
girl, i'll try. I'm coming. So she comes to the door and
she's like, I'm with so andSo. I don't know who, she
said, I guess her boyfriend orher section, breezy, whatever I want's
she's with us. She's with us. And so mind you, all these
beautiful girls are still standing there periodsecurious like her and the green yes her,
(20:06):
just her, come on, comeon, come on, so I
get through. I love it.I love it. I love it,
girl, I love it. Holdon, get in. Sorry. The
first part is just so fabulous, though, Darling walk in Okay, I'm
not even in for like four steps. Snap, you broke your shoe.
The shoe broke. I said, this is not fucking happening. Did you
(20:27):
fall or did you just like Tripp? It was kind of like a stumble.
And then I was like, Ididn't cut her comprehend what was happening
because she was holding my hand andshe was about to drag me. She
was like, and I was followingher to her section. At in my
mind, I'm like, oh,I'm about to be in breezy section,
like I have people to hang outwith for the night. Like I'm good.
And then it snaps, where dowe get these shoes? And why
(20:47):
are we never shopping there again?Girl? These are from college. Okay,
We'll rest in peace, little shoesty. So I'm like, this is
not happening. And then I'm realizing, like I'm dropping. I'm like,
what is going on? And thenI realized, oh my god, my
shoe just broke, and so shestill hold in my hand. I said,
wait, my shoes broke. Myshoes broke. She's like, what
mind you all these people like, this is not the time or the place,
(21:11):
no for a broken shoe. No, this is so far from the
time of the place. No.So then and she was like, oh
my gosh. I was like,is there a bathroom somewhere? She was
like, I guess over, Idon't know. And I could tell her
face like it was like she's embarrassedfor you, not embarrassed, but like
there's nothing I can do to helpyou, girl, like, and I
was like, and I didn't wantthat burden on her because we don't know
each other, we're not friends.So it's like I don't want her to
(21:33):
like stay with me all night whileyou have my broken shoe, figure out
my shit. Why we lean onthe wall in the comfortable spots and nobody
notices? Yeah exactly. So Iwas like, So I was like,
I was figure it out. It'sokay, No, I'll just figure out.
Go ahead, I'll meet up withyou. I'll just figure it out.
And she's like okay, and thenshe left, she's out, Bye.
(21:55):
I feel like that's what happened whenI'm my uh prop, what was
it presso one now fell off atushers skate party, like bleep skated away
from me so fast like he wasin marriage cause he thought I said he
thought I said that. He thoughtI said that my feminine product fell out
or some weird ship like that. And he was like like, he just
tell me the story, am Ihaving? Like I may have told you
the story, but he like skatedlike he did not want to be associated
(22:17):
with me in that moment. Weneed to go to this right now.
So your thing broke off. Ihad press on nils. It was last
minute and I couldn't get a manof care on my time, so I
bought presone else from set Females, and yeah, one of them fell off
at like while I was skating onthe skating ring at a skated off.
I told him like, my mypinky, my ring, just my nell
just fell off. My nil justfell off. He's like, what like
let my hand go, and thenlike skated ahead because I and then like
(22:38):
when I called up to him,he's like he's like, I couldn't see
it anywhere. I'm like, Idon't think you'll notice. It's just a
Now he goes, oh, itwas your noil, I thought you said
that your your tampon fell out,and I'm like, that's not a thing.
You hear, That's how I laughall the time, So it's nice
for you to join me. Waita minute, Yeah, you're telling me
(22:59):
your friend is a better That islike the worst, That is like the
worst person. I don't care guya girl, even if it was your
tampon to skate off your skate partywith every celebrity in the middle of the
party and this is our first timehanging out, I honestly don't know how
you percent blame him, girl,No, honestly, if I was with
you and let's say your tampon didfall off, let's like, let's say
that you were wearing a skirt,I wouldn't skate off on you. No,
(23:19):
you're girl, I would even goI would mind it. I would,
yes, I mean, of course, but like if I was in
the position where you, it feltlike and I could get to it closer.
But tampons don't just fall out justjust for science. Do they so
loose that it just falls Does thathappen or is it just so soaked in
anywhere? No? No, no, no, it can like if it's
(23:41):
in incorrect and it's like very uncomfortablewhere it can fall off. That makes
sense, you know, Okay, okay, because I'm like, that doesn't
even happen, Like why would youeven assume that anyway? Back to your
story, but back to the Okay, back to your story. Regardless,
that was not bad friend, badmoment. We wouldn't do that to each
other, right, So but Iwas like, it's okay, girl,
Like I don't. She's already herewith people, she don't need a cater
(24:03):
to me, like, go ahead, I'll meet up with you. Ha.
Wobbled my way to this, liketo a safe space, and I'm
like, Kayla, this is nothappening. It's the biggest night, like
you could have been in a breezysection like no I had no. I
was like, I went into play, I went to action. Yes,
action. I was like, okay. I was like okay. Me and
(24:25):
Joy were already planning to try tofinesse and get her way in here.
So she was already getting ready. She was already gonna be on standby to
come and we had planned that duringagain, she had seven and a half
and so seven so she was like, I can bring you a shoe.
But she wasn't going to be ableto be there for another hour. So
I'm gonna like stand here, noteven with a drink in my hand.
I'm too far from the bar, like I'm little in mind you, I'm
(24:47):
wan a ramp, so I'm I'mon to incline. So it's like and
I can't move because if I gointo the crowd, it's just not no.
That's like the safest space was forme to be by the ramp where
there was like a handle went intoproblem solva mode. I said, Okay,
I could leave, or I couldgo home, get shoes and come
(25:08):
back. But that's uber there, back home, uber back here in the
rain. And then I had tofinesse my way back in. And then
I was like, Emily, myneighbor, my friend, and so she
was able to go to your house. Yes. I was like, she
can bring me shoes, my car, she can take my bring my car
and and she can bring my shoes. I called her and she was like
(25:32):
can you I was like, canyou please? My car is there,
my keys are there. Can youbring me my shoes please? It's like
a big event. And she waslike then I remember it. She doesn't
drive. She doesn't even have acar here, and not to mention it's
raining, she doesn't even like togo outside when it's raining. And she
was like, I will say,Emily is also the type two offer to
get a peer sitting at a tattooshop because my sister had to pee,
and so she like, we'll goabove and beyond for you. But I
(25:56):
guess it's like a stifling fear andshe hasn't driven in how God knows all,
and I think about that. SoI was like, wait a minute,
why don't you uber me shoes bingo? Right? So she went in
my house. Luckily it was unlocked. I told her what she was to
get. She put him in abag. She ordered the uber and I'll
say a cash after later ordered theuber put the uber shoes in the uber.
Uber caade me, Okay, thestory is almost over, I think.
(26:19):
But it's a really good story,y'all. So the uber gets to
me and I he says that he'shere, and I hobble my way past
Nisi Nash and her girlfriend. Ihobbled my way past the Fashion Nova model
to the door. Girl talk aboutcringe, am I you? I'm holding
(26:41):
my shoes. Everyone's looking like andthis is the type of room that pays
attention to that stuff. What shoesare you wearing? Are they lou Batons?
How much does you pay for them? Is that dress Gucci? And
these are like payless shoes that Igot when I was like, yeah,
clearly I need to step my gameup. So I make my way back
to that celebrity door and I say, this is my situation. You see
my shoe. Somebody's bringing me shoes. Can I go get them? And
(27:03):
they were like yes, go ahead, and I was like, oh,
you remember me, so let meback in. Yes, I'll remember you.
Uber guy ends up getting out ofthe car to bring me my shoes.
Okay, I'm good. Now,got the shoes. I'm in the
hallway putting them on, struggling toput them on. Then a man comes
up to me and he's like,hi, beautiful, and he's like older,
like in his fifties. He waslike, do you need some help?
(27:25):
And I was like, oh,yeah, sure. So he bends
down and he buckles my shoes forme. We had a conversation. He's
like you were beautiful like and Iwas like, yeah, you know,
thank you so much. And wewere just talking and then he was like,
take my number, let's exchange theinformation. I was like, okay,
great, didn't mind. You didn'tknow who he was at the time.
Exchange information. I was like itwas nice feeding you. And then
I walk away. I decided toI was like, okay, Kaylea,
(27:47):
this is your moment, like Idecided not to text my nail what not
the cliffhanger who was I will getto this story, okakay, so listen.
So and then I was like okay. I was like, do I
text my nail tech and be likehey, I can meet up with you
now. I was like, no, ride so low. You got this,
Kayla? You got your shoes?Act like I act like you know
(28:08):
what you're doing. So I walkaround, You're all you need. I'm
bopping around and I go to thebar. I get a drink. I
pull up my wallet to pay. They're like, oh, it's open bar.
I was like, oh, that'sembarrassing. I was like, okay,
okay, that's embarrassing. Yeah,so you know, got my drink
and I was just like and Iended up walking into the crowd and some
(28:29):
too, like a few men keptcoming up to me. You are beautiful.
You are beautiful. Gave my instagramslike two guys. But still,
you know, riding solo, likedancing by myself like and it felt good.
I was like confident to do so. And I think also because I
was getting Oh and then yeah, well I wasn't drunk at the time,
but I went into the bathroom atone point and saw all the batties from
Bagirls Club, Low London. Didyou see that Natalie? No, Natalie
(28:53):
wasn't there. Did you try toget any of them? I didn't think
about that at the time. Sorry, you went to get These were the
old bad Girls club. So Igo in there and yeah, and then
but the thing is like they're allstaring at They're all staring at me,
and I'm like something like and I'mjust in the mirror, just fixing myself
(29:14):
and they're staring at me like andthen then one girl was like, you
are so beautiful, and I don'tknow that made me feel very very good
in a room full of like modelsand beautiful women were not that. I
don't think that I can compare,But damn, this is like the fashion
model Nova fashion Novo model. HereNis what you are beautiful. So it
was very encouraging and it gave mea boost of confidence that I needed to
(29:34):
continue my night. Right, Sothen the man texted me. He was
like, hope you're enjoying your night. And then so I was like,
why don't I just hang out withhim? And I said, I'm actually
here by myself. Would you liketo meet up? And he was like,
sure, I'll come get you meetme by the where we were turns
out he so I go back tothat spot and he brings me upstairs to
VIP. I was like, whois this guy? Upstairs is where Chris
(29:57):
Brown is, That's where all thecelebrities are. It overlooks like everything.
And he tells me that he isthe second in command of TD. So
the TD his name is Top,the CEO is Top. He's the second
in command for TOP, like helike or whatever. So I was like,
(30:18):
oh my god, I scored thefreaking jackpot. Like the type of
men you were saying that you've neverexperienced, that's the one that'll give you
the experiences it is, that's theone. So I hung out with him
the rest and I was like andthen I was like, wait, he
basically runs this thing I was like, can you get my friend in?
Oh? Absolutely. Joy comes abouttwenty minutes later and she's there and we're
and we're all in so we're drinking. I see big Boy and Annie.
(30:41):
I saw him there. Annie wasthere, So you did have people.
You could have talked to him too, but I didn't see them until it
was right And yeah, I justhad a other than that, just had
a really good night saison and evenend up coming. But yeah, so
that was it. It turned outto be a very good night. I
had an amazing time. Joy andI went to after hours after that got
(31:03):
even more drunk. You to likefive thirty acting absolutely ridiculous. But it
was a lot of fun. Andoverall, I'm proud of myself for overcoming
adversity period and uh stepping out ofmy comfort zone and being willing to hang
out by myself, even though itdidn't end up like that, like I
ended up mingling and meeting the freakingCEO, second and assistant whatever. You
(31:29):
know, I did it, andI'm so proud. Yes you did.
I am so proud of you.Yes, that's the night that people moved
Sally for honey. Yeah, Likethat's the nights that you read about or
hear about and you've lived it,and then you had to do your movie
premiere. Oh yeah, well thatwas yeah, forgot about that too,
So yesterday was the movie premiere andthat was I mean simple. I got
paid to do social media for theleast of freaking side movies. So everybody
(31:52):
been paid to do like social mediabefore, uh huh deal. This was
my first. This was my firstendorsement for Kiss. I've done a hosting
for Kiss, but this is myfirst like paid endorsement where I'm like doing
commercials and I'm doing social media. And it was a lot of money to
just first two posts. And it'scomforting to know that your your algorithm or
your curation must be mesthetically pleasing. He must be doing a good job if
(32:14):
they want to pay you to beon your Instagram exactly. So that was
amazing. It was really fun.And I brought my coworker Mariana to do
social media for me at the event, so she took all the video and
then put the video together. Butyeah, so so I saw we Love
Zach and Cody, Yeah, ColeSprowse, Yeah, like people from Riverdale
over there, Like everybody was thereand it was like a really just a
(32:36):
regard weekend. Yeah, so Iam now tired, exhausted, sick all
that. That's why this episode iscoming out late, guys, So yeah,
you can try it. We're recordingthe day of, usually record the
day before the episode suppos to droplike five hours ago. But you get
it. You get it when youget it at least. Uh any But
outside of your crazy week, Drakealso had a crazy week. Did you
(32:58):
see his video? Girl, let'sjust see this video looked like a hot
dog. No, it was muchbigger than a hot dog. It was.
It wasn't given big to me.It was like it was giving skinny,
like a glizzy. What have youseen in this world that that's not
given big to you? What? What did you see the right video?
Yeah? That was big, that'sbig. I don't know what it was
(33:21):
wrong it was it was girthy. It was skinny. Do you have the
video? I don't have. Theone I found was the Leader too,
and I can't find it anywhere. But what I did see was girth in
length, and I was like, that explains why he's so cocky. That's
why I thought about pencil Dick ChrisBrown when his licked leaked. I was
like, that's a pencil. That'sa long pencil. But that's why thick,
(33:44):
that's why Glizzy Jersey was trending becauseeveryone thought it looked like a hot
dog. No, who these peopleI saw, Like the tweets that I
saw was like Drake like call me, like, yes, I get I
saw people making fun of it.I saw the opposite and the fact that
he was like whipping it around likeit was just like a slinky. I
(34:06):
don't like dick pics. I don'tlike I don't like dick pics. I
don't like dick videos. I don'tI don't like that. Don't send that
to me. I don't care.So I will not attracted to that stuff
anyway. But just because it's Drakeand it's his penis, yeah, I
want to see it. The thingI didn't think the video is kids.
Why why was slinging it around?Like was that supposed to turn anybody on?
(34:30):
I mean, I've gotten some weirdvideos from men where it's like,
but solicited exactly, don't you ever? But I feel like Wendy Welsh says
that men are visually wired and theylike to see the visual thing so they
assume women are like that as well. They want to like they think that
we visually get turned onto, butit takes typically a lot more for the
(34:52):
average woman than just seeing your dickto do something. We're not visually wireless.
They are. They aren't pretty, and they are not dis Yeah I
think that pretty. You think that, Dickson. You are the first person
to say that. I don't thinkvagina's are that person on the average person
that like women that I talk to. It's like dicks are they They're actually
not pretty or cute. I've seensome beautiful penises in my day, so
(35:15):
I think dicks are pretty. I'veseen I've had. I can name some
pretty dicktamen like only like two becauseI've only seen like two them. I
mean yeah, like in the momentwhen you're having sex, like it definitely
turns you on. I would sayin a picture, I'm not looking at
that, like, oh no,I don't, I'm not doing that,
But yeah I could he got apretty penis, got a pretty Yeah I
(35:35):
said that. But yeah, Ithink Drake's was nice and big, and
I see why he's cocky and whyhe makes that cocky successful music because okay,
you think he actually got a BBO. Yeah you heard that ship I
did that he got all his absand stuff for fake in the world.
Is that possible? When we getDrake money, we'll find out. But
I feel like the rich El Cutyperiod, we'll be careful because I have
(35:58):
read that the girl who got thatChristian, which I'm not a hundred percent
sure what a Christian girls bye,I saw that video, but she got
an infection. She admitted that shegot infection afterwards. That recently came out.
That's what she gave for putting Christianin front of it? Like,
why did she call it a ChristianBBL. I didn't know what that was.
It's just no, it doesn't meananything. She's just saying that she's
a Christian, I got a BBLand that God told her to do girl
(36:20):
by a bbl's BBL. Don't putgot her for that. Yeah, I
just maybe it's just a way totrend, But it trended. It definitely
did now. She she admitted thatshe got an infection after the surgery.
So just a girl. Speaking ofall the Grammys, I was just really
proud of first of all, VictoriaMonet. I think that her career is
(36:40):
so inspirational. She just talked abouthow she's been added for fifteen years.
People stopped believing in her. Shekept hungry, she kept going. She
even sweeted in twenty eleven that shecan't wait to accept her Grammy, and
then how many years later because I'mnot that good at math? Thirteen years
later she won her Grammy, evento the point where Verdein White from Earth,
(37:00):
Wind and Fire said that she's anicon, have a legend in our
presence. We're so happy to talkto you weekends on the weekends. I
love that Victoria Monee. Yes,yeah, and she was the one my
grandaughter term me on the Victoria didin COVID. Wow. And what are
your thoughts on her now? Oh, she's the one. Wow. And
(37:21):
she has an incredible career. She'llend up being an icon, right,
she'll be. And it's the first. This is the first artist that's been
discovered for you all. You knowwhat I mean. You all discovered her.
You know the other people like allof us, we've been here,
but this is your artist. Shebelongs to you, guys. Very grateful,
yes, because we haven't had it, Okay, we haven't had it
in a while, and we haven'thad an R and B album in fifteen
(37:43):
years, so this is good foryou all to hear a real album for
change instead of the singles. Right. So, I just love that she's
getting her flowers and getting her recognitionand just being that testimony of staying in
the game, never giving up,continuously going at thirty four, she's winning
her Grammys and she's finally getting herrecord after being in the games that she
was what eighteen twenty, Like that'scrazy. Yeah, And she even spoke
(38:05):
about how she felt when she waseven nominated for the Grammys, not even
winning yet. She was just sograteful to be nominated. Maybe you can't
even take it all in at theIt wasn't even a break in between enough
to digest the first one, becauseI was like I would have been enamored
at one, like okay, amazing, like this is one step closer to
a really big dream, but tohave them repeatedly happen was like, God,
(38:28):
you are really showing out. MaybeI love her. And I also
saw like a while ago, Idon't know if it was the Billboard Music
Awards, the American Music Awards, some award show last year happened where everyone
was like, why is Victoria Monetnot performing? Like all my Mama is
a huge moment, and they toldher team that it was too early in
(38:50):
her career. Wow, and it'sbeing something for twenty or fifteen years if
you just say it's too early.Yeah, crazy, that was five months
ago. Now look at her aGrammy winner. I love that. And
I know people that have been ridingwith Victoria before, Oh my mama came
to the light or so happy becauseI know she had like a standbase before
because people saw her talent and they'relike, this girl deserves to be a
star. So they are like,I'm so happy that the world is finally
seeing what Victoria Monite is because sheis that great. I loved her Grammy
(39:14):
speech and I probably misquoted, butshe said something along the lines of she
was a seed that was planted andfor a long time she was like,
God, I want a sprout.I want a sprout. And she saw
all these other trees and plants andflowers sprout around her for years and years
and years, and she's like,God, when is it my turn?
(39:34):
And finally here we are fifteen yearslater and she's finally sprouting and this is
her sprout moment, and even thoughshe was in that soil for what seemed
like a long time, in thatdarkness, that dark era for a long
time, like it's her season andit was worth the wait. I love
it. And I feel like Alsoesshilarious or just with the Moss that she
used to be called. I loveher story too, and I love her
(39:55):
full circle moment because I remember whenshe was doing with the mess. I've
seen her do stand up like I'vealways been a Jess fan, and I
love the fact that now they're callingher segment on the Breakfast Club and just
with the mouse it used to beremember for it now it's just cause that's
not a full circle moment. Ijust don't know what it is like staying
in the game, staying focused. And she also spoke on her gratitude just
being announced as the co host ofthe Breakfast Club. Breakfast Club, that
(40:17):
is something that I wanted. Whowouldn't want to be third co host on
a Hall of Fame show, youknow, one of the most viewed Black
culture shows. To join that isbig, you know, but also had
to stand on business as well, you know, just get what I was
worthing. Then this shit happens andBreakfast Club is ring Nigga. They don't
want Jess Hilarious on the show. But I'm looking like she got fired about
(40:38):
it is that it's awesome, whichthey were gonna start twenty twenty four off
with a new hole. I justlove her full circle moment of just doing
that for Instagram for fun and nowgetting paid to do it on the biggest
hip hop show in the country,a biggest morning show in the country.
I feel and for her to bea part of that. And I also
(40:59):
when those fired rumors were coming out, Yeah, I want like I think
she said something or somebody told her, like make them into a note of
those people that were happy when youdidn't get it even though it was already
hers, because I think that whata lot of people's true colors to light.
Yeah, and she never got fired. She was was always her job,
but I think behind the scenes shehad to work on negotiating her contract.
(41:19):
She wanted more money. I thinkis what happened, and that's why
it took longer to you know. And I also think I don't know if
it was like when Charlotteagne was askedby TMZ, like what's going on,
and he was like, I don'tknow, but I'm pissed Dad. I
think it was all a part ofit. Yeah, I think it was
super intentional. I think, like, especially working in the business, when
you get these like you know what'sgoing on behind the scenes before you say
anything to the public. Everybody inthe room is on the same page before
(41:40):
you're going on social media saying anything. So I don't know if it was
like employ or something to get peoplemaybe see how people felt about Jess with
the Mess, joining the breakfast clubor what. But I don't think it
was ever. Her job was everin Jeopardy. I bet that. Yeah,
yeah, yeah, But I'm veryvery happy for her, And it
just shows you like hard work paysoff off and manifestation is real, like
(42:02):
from doing Jess. I remember seeingher do Jess with the Mess in her
car and she got backlash for it, like she got backlash because I think
she talked like junk and then shestopped doing it for a while and now
look, it's a full circle moment. And then also I think she was
with some guy at the time whowas using her and stealing Chris what's his
name? Country Wayne, No beforeCountry. He's famous. He's a famous.
(42:23):
But like when she was coming up, she was with some nobody named
Chris who was her man, andshe like before she blew blew up,
she like blasted him when they brokeup, like he was a bomb.
He used me for my money. He just like was taking advantage of me.
And and until I realized, like, wait, this is the thing,
you gotta go. And now he'snot doing anything with himself. I
(42:43):
think he may have tried to doappearances here and there, but nobody gives
the f And now look, she'sjust hilarious. That's your man. That
is that's inspiring as hell. Ohthis it just shows you when you leave
the toxicity behind, and you leavethe friendships that are not necessary for you
or not serving you anymore, therelationships like look at what can happen.
The people that doubted Jess and thoughtthat she was too messy, she was
(43:05):
too loud and too much. Ifeel like I got the same type of
responses in my past. You're this, you're that, you're too much.
You do But now look I've beencalled extra so many times and I just
I'm still like I'm definitely still likeworking. But I just these stories inspire
me so much. And another thing, I love when people see these stories
or they see people who don't believein themselves and they choose to pour in
(43:25):
to them. Did you see thatinterview with Fantasia and Danielle Brook? I
did. God has promised you something, do not rush the fulfillment of that
moment. And sometimes that's what wedo. We rush the fulfillment. We
want it so bad. We knowwhat God has promised us and told us
in our hearts, and we knowit to be so. But you gotta
(43:50):
not rush it because how horrible wouldit be for you to receive that thing
and you not be ready and you'renot to be ready. Yeah, So
stay the course, one foot infront of the other, one foot in
front of the other, and thensoon before you know it, life will
(44:10):
turn around for your good God.Oh my gosh. I love that.
And that applies to everybody that wetalked about today, except for Drakes Penis,
but Victoria. It applies to VictoriaBonet just with the mess, like
God is preparing us for something andit may not seem like it right now.
(44:30):
If you're in a dark season andI know a lot of my friends
are also in a season where they'relike, I don't know if I can
continue this, Like it's draining me. I'm working so hard for something,
but I'm not seeing the fruit ofmy labor. And maybe God is saying
you're not ready right now, butI'm preparing you, and when you are
ready, it'll be beyond what youeven imagined. And I definitely am going
(44:52):
through things personally, like girl, trying not to get into my head about
things, so just kind of readingthese stories and going down this kind of
wormhole of just people that stay inthe game, keep their head and not
listen to the naysayers or whatever, because even I think Cardi B had a
bunch of nysayers before she became CardiB. It's just staying focused and doing
what you gotta do and not gettingyour head because girl, if you focus
(45:13):
on the things that don't happen andthe emails that you don't get responded to.
What are some of the things thatyou're going through? Do you mind
sharing? Is it like inspirational otherpeople? You don't how to say specifics?
Yeah, I just okay, Ifeel like I definitely have a bunch
of things I want to accomplish bytwenty twenty four. I feel like twenty
twenty three is my last year being, you know, being where I am.
(45:34):
I feel doing too many years ofdoing the same thing is really depressing
for me. I need to makea change. I don't want to be
where I was last year, andwhat can I do differently? So twenty
twenty four is a year where Iwant to make a lot of different things
happen. And when I don't seeit happening by February seventh, I'm like,
is it ever going to happen? And I just get in my own
head and I get in my wayabout how I'm unworthy or how I'm not
(45:57):
good and how I don't deserve itand why am I here? Should I
go back to Jersey? What's happeninglike? And we have so many beautiful
things happening. So people from theoutside looking at Andre like, Caleb,
what the fuck are you talking about? That's what I was about to say
to you. It's like, Iknow you wanted to happen fast, and
you're such a hard worker and youwant things to It's like you're something happens
and you're onto the next, butalso stop and appreciate what has happened,
(46:17):
right, I mean the Tory Hartthing that was you. You got that
interview you but no, it wasboth of us, yea. And it
proved to yourself how good of aninterviewer you are that you had no idea
that you could even you know, you were even capable of that. So
you unlocked this whole new part ofyou that you never even knew was a
thing. So imagine when we haveother things down the line, right,
(46:40):
yeah, imagine how much bigger thisis gonna get. And it's only February.
So instead of thinking about like it'sonly February, wise and it's happening,
Well, it is only February, and look has looked at what has
happened. Damn that was real.Okay, you better drop that mic.
Yeah. But also you do relateto like being in the moment and killing
it right and just not feeling likeyou're good enough or you're not doing enough,
(47:00):
like how can I do more? How can I grow more? Like
because it never feels like enough, you know, even though it's amazing and
I've grown, And look at whereyou are like two years ago, three
years ago, like how dare younot be grateful for where you are today,
but it just feels like I wantto be invited to the Rock Nation
Brunch, I want to go toClive Davis party. I want to be
(47:20):
a millionaire. I get you, girls, I get you, but it
sounds super ungrateful. No, no, not at all. I mean,
you have aspirations and there's nothing wrongwith vocalizing those at all. Keep dreaming
big, that's what you want togo go after, then that's what you're
going to get, right And Idon't know, just that that video is
very inspiring, and even the intervieweris crying because you can tell that she
actually needed to hear that. AndI feel like a lot of us in
(47:44):
the season that we're in, weneed to hear that, whether you're going
through sometimes where you're not where youare financially or work wise, or you're
in a tough situation with romantic relationshipslike that is a word stay in the
soil. That's so And you knowwhat, when you hear that from some
of the level of Fantasia and DanielleBrooks telling you that you are amazing and
(48:05):
you like these women that we've lookedup to since you know, American idol
or Orange is a new back Blackwho have accomplished so much to tell you
that they see something in you likethat's and wait a minute, that actually
happened to us. Freaking Tory Heartsat here and said, this podcast is
amazing. I know you guys havesomething here and basically, don't fuck it
up. Yeah, in other words, and don't let nothing come between y'all.
(48:27):
Yeah, we got to a fighttwo point five seconds slate and I'm
kidding, but no, we didn't. That was a joke. That was
a joke. But yeah, Ido. I love these stories, and
I just try to surround myself withthese stories. And I just hope that
if anything out of this conversation thatI inspire other people to do the same.
If you're feeling like you don't believein yourself, or you're feeling like
you want to give up and goback to Jersey, just watch these kind
of videos and listen to these typeof stories because they happen all the time,
and I know they just feel somethingin me that makes me feel like,
(48:49):
all right, I got this,I got this. Stay in the
game. Stay in the game. You're gonna be a millionaire very soon.
By March four years Then, allright, Patty of the word of the
week, I'm gonna give mine toMonique. She was on Club Shasha.
I feel like Club Shasha is likethe new Wendy Williams. I know,
right, Oh my gosh. Soshe was clapping back at Tiffany Hattis because
(49:14):
apparently Tiffany Hadda said something to sayabout her husband. Listen, and the
conversation turned to Monique, and shesaid, well, I don't do business
like Monique do business. And I'mglad I don't have that husband of hers,
But you don't know your husband. And when I saw that, it's
(49:35):
like, Tiffany, if you hada husband like mine, you may not
have to DUIs. If you hada husband like mine, you may not
be caught up in what looks likeyou could have been grooming a child.
And I say, all of thatwas no judgment. But when you speak
about having a husband like mine, you open up the door. And I'm
(49:57):
saying to you, if you badone like mine, you may not sit
in these positions that you can't explainthe next day. It's a hard way
to go. So one a second, you don't even have a husband,
let alone like yours about it nowyou said it. Oh, Monique will
tear someone the fuck up and throwshade in the nicest way. My man,
(50:21):
my man, my man, myman, I blame on man that
wife like, don't don't, don't. And because then at the same time,
I can say anything about Monique too. Well if you, if you
want with your man, then youwouldn't have got blacklisted from Hollywood if you
if you was with a better man, like anybody could pick up your your
ugly pieces of whatever you've done andthrow that in your face and blame that
on whatever. So did she gether Yeah, she got out. Goddamn
(50:45):
yeah. But yeah, my man, my man, my man, don't
come and my man, I'm notmad at it. That's a good one.
That's a good one. I'm goingto give mine to Jay Z for
eating the Grammys up after he acceptedhis Doctor Dre Global Impact Award. At
least get it close to right. And obviously it's subjective. You don't gotta
(51:07):
clap at everything. Obviously, it'sobviously it's subjective because you know it's music
and it's opinion based. But youknow some things, you know, I
don't want to embarrass this young lady. But she has more Grammys than everyone
and never one album of a year. So even by your own metrics,
that doesn't work. Think about that, the most Grammys, never one album
(51:31):
of the year. That doesn't work. You know, some of you,
some of you gonna go home tonightand feel like you've been robbed. Some
of you made it rob Some ofyou don't belong in a category. Oh
(51:51):
no, no, no, no, no, no no. I would
say no. When I get nervous, I tell the truth. But outside
of that, outside that, youknow, we got to keep showing up.
First of all, let me justsay I'm so attracted to Jays.
Oh my, was that not poweror was that not just like, let
me win this award and then dominatethis room like the powerful And oh yeah,
(52:12):
he's definitely is committed that she meantlike, that's a wild I mean
it looks wild, looks wise.I think that was the and slip.
But no, I think that.Yeah. I think he's very attractive and
I just love the defending of hisqueen. And I also love working so
hard and get into such a levelI can get on your stage and tell
you what you need to do better. I don't think that was necessarily petty,
(52:36):
but I think that was necessary. It's it was the truth, you
know, Yeah, I mean Icategorized as petty just because you know,
you could have honored these people thatjust gave you the Impact Award, but
instead you decided to be like, this is what y'all doing wrong. I'm
going to make this impact right now. That's true, that's true, attractive,
attracted. I love that stuff,so petty Award of the Week,
(52:59):
I gotta give it the money.Sorry. And he did eat the Grammys
up. He did this in sucha classy and his daughter's right next to
him, and it's just the cutestthing, cutest thing. Peddy Edward of
the Week. I skid to ourpetty mail. Uh Tara from Marina del
Rey writes, my ex broke upwith me and told my ex broke up
(53:22):
with me and told me we've grownapart. He said he wanted to get
out before it turned toxic. SoI found an animal rescue site that you
can buy a doggy poop bag forfive dollars donation and they will write your
ex's name on it and send youa photo of the deed completed. I
bought three one that says his name. Two that says too pump chump,
(53:45):
the wait, too pump chump, the town pump. And the third that's,
oh, he's a two pump chumpis in a two minute man.
And then the third says, stopselling your eddic medication. You need them.
Ed is a rectile dessuption. Ohyeah, I don't know. I
don't know if they could put twoand three on the bags, but I'm
(54:06):
sure they'll figure it out and I'llsend you girls the photos when the deed
is done. Am I the pettyqueen? That is pretty petty? That's
the petty queen. How did youeven find this animal rescue site that puts
your ex's name on a poop bag? Can then send you a picture.
A lot of animal rescues are doingthat for Valentine's Day? Are there there's
one in I think it's here inCalifornia that they're doing If you donate five
(54:27):
dollars, they'll put your ex's nameat the bottom of a litter box where
the cats at the rescue p Thisis the type of shit everywhere. Would
you do that? Have you donethat? No? I haven't done that,
but like I'm not gonna go thatfar, like five dollars can get
me a lot more. But yeah, I don't care enough to do all
that. Like he'll never know thatI did it, So what's the point.
(54:49):
So me, I go blasted onsocial media and look dumb And how
would you even be mad if likeyour ex send you a picture of a
cat litter and boom? No,I would laugh and be like, you're
still thinking about me? You're likechildish in a way. You took it.
You took an l because it seemslike he was kind of being mature,
like he said, he you'all justgrown apart, and he just wanted
to leave before it turned toxic. He kind of just was trying to save
a bad situation, it seems like, and you went completely. If you
(55:13):
want embarrass him, make a TikTokand tell the world about how he's a
two minute king to same thing.Yeah, I like it. I like
to do a story time on TikTok. That's my shot. Danie'll definitely be
the petty queen. There, yougot what you got coming up this week?
This week we are we allowed totalk about what's happening on Friday,
I guess, so yeah, talkabout it. We're on a game show.
We are, and that's all weknow. I mean, yeah,
(55:36):
so that's the game show. It'scaught Portal one, but I don't know
when it's when it's airing when.I just know that we're playing video games
against gamers and they have a decentfollowing. And Justin Bieber was on there
and Sammy Levado was on there andthey have again. And I don't play
anything but like Super Marios, Idon't think we're gonna do good, Kayla,
I really don't. I think it'smore about our commentary as we play
(55:59):
the game, because we're not goingto win against the gamers. Okay,
so where's that. That's gonna befun though. Okay, Yeah, so
that's that. And then super Bowl? Are you gonna Christine's what's up?
Joy mentioned it while we were out, But Christine is having like a Taylor
Swift. Oh, I thought youwere talking about Christine Christine the board op.
Yeah, her name is Christine.Well, anyway, I'm going to
(56:20):
a Taylor Swift themed super Bowl party. I'll be working, right, I'm
working. I think I'm gonna Oh, I'm going to a Pamper party on
Saturday. I took Saturday off ofmy friend who's having her baby in her
second baby shower that I'm attending andwe have to wear greens, so I
gotta get that, and uh,super Bowl I'll be working. Yeah,
I don't care about it anyway.Well, have a great week super Bowl.

(56:44):
