Speaker 1 (00:00):
That game.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
I'd been to in Arbor a couple of times. The
very first time it was while we were on a
roll and I had these big signs that I put
in our live truck and they were divided up in
three ways. The first sign said beat, the second sign
said mish.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
And the third sign said again. It's just nice to
have the buck.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
I wrote, it's been what right? Well, what about when
Trussell and Urban were here? How many years did Michigan
have to put up with it? So, you know what,
it's good for a rivalry to go back and forth.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
You don't want one.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Team to consistently win every single year because then the
rivalry kind of takes a step back.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
I feel, I don't know. It was a great game.
You well, you were switching the things here. You wanted
to move yours closer. So if you want to.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Call us up and talk about the Ohio State win,
which Michigan didn't even score a touchdown, the MVP of
the game was Brutus writing su crypto Ohio in the
end zone and then people were like, Brutus spent more
time in the end zone than the Wolverines.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
No courtney, they did not even do you.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
See the disrespect at the end of the game when
Urban so I'm not gonna put a flag on your field,
and Urban, I mean day Gie.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
I think.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Ryan Day, Ryan Day and the other coach from Michigan.
He said, I'm not going to put a flag in
your and he walked away shaking his head.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
The Michigan coach, well, it was just no, I mean it.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
You know what, it doesn't matter because brutus did the
Ohio But you know what really matters, there's the Bucks
got to win and they're undefeated. And I put on
my Facebook page sixteen to zero because the commentators were
talking about they had the longest winning streak of the
nation right now, sixteen wins in a row if you
look at the playoff games last year.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
And now, so it's going to be a buck Eye fan.
It's always going to be a buck Eye fan.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
They'll have to go up now against the Hoosiers and
that will be a much better game.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
I think, I really do.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
I think they're crushed them they.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Meaning Ohio State? Are they meaning Indiana? They don't kill
a lot of people are saying who stopped the penalties?

Speaker 5 (02:04):
You know, they need to stuck with the stupid stuff
I had, But I just know they didn't do that.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
No, I stand, but that really does that thing they
played football?

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Would you thought.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
You would never do that? Ever?

Speaker 3 (02:19):
I mean that is I don't care it's Michigan High State,
Cleveland Browns, whoever.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
You do not head butt a ref. That's the thug
world we're in. Respect You don't cut a ref.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
No you said is your coach would have killed you,
and you would have. He would have pulled you out
of the game.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
Right My dad probably would have.

Speaker 6 (02:38):
Oh I can't beyond me to be so crass about
head injuries as a football player.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Right, But it doesn't make any difference or not.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
You you respect the official, even if you don't respect
his call.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
You respect the official. You don't go after the official.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
They didn't inject him.

Speaker 6 (02:55):
Is just why would you want to officiate a game
if if that doesn't go? If that because they make
good money.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Like it was a full out head butt, but it
was actually it was a It was a disrespectful.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Bolt on these helmets right here will get you lucky.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I was trying to take his court and didn't see it,
so like a whole big head butt to knock him out.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
It was a there was contact.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
I think it was a disrespect. That's what's wrong with
the world right now.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
And I guarantee Michigan coach didn't say much about it.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
And it's an intimidation thing, you know, to do that.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
So there was so much trash talking on that field
from beginning to end.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
Number ten garbage for Michigan.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
I don't care who he is or where he's from,
but he's the one had all the mouth east points.
He's the one head button to reft. He is garbage, garbage, garbage.
I wish he could listen, but he's Michigan.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
I will say one thing. The Wolverines are young.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
They have a lot of freshmen on both sides of
the field, offense and defense. This is going to be
a good little rivalry, I'm going to say for the
next several years. I don't think it's going to be
quite so incided as it has been in the past
couple decades.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Really it has. I think this one might go back
and forth a little bit more.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
And that's fun for everybody, just as long as a
high state wins anyway.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
But that's been their bread and butter all season. Really.
The other thing is it's been Thanksgiving. Happy thanks Did
you guys have a good Thanksgiving? Boots is in a
brand new house.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Well, it wasn't all the way in, but I was
very fortunate that her mother brought us Thanksgiving dinner, and
Dicky and Paula came by and we had a camping
out type Thanksgiving with one of the chairs was too tall,
so I had my saw and I went out and
cut it to fit.

Speaker 5 (04:38):
Probably felt like real Pilgrims.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Yeah, it was the last minute thing and it was
really good. It was outdoors, best Thanksgiving I've had about
ten years.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
So I kind of hinted around to everybody with our
listeners last week because you were off because you were
doing a lot of the moving last Sunday, and I
kind of said, it's not my story to tell about
where Boots is moving. But he did put on Facebook
that he's in Sunbury. And there's very a very significant
thing about the house he's moving into.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Boots, it's your sisters, he's my sisters. It's like a
rent to own down size.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
And it feels its the first small house I've owned
since ninety two, and.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
It feels good.

Speaker 6 (05:14):
Do you know how much love that I've spent a
Thanksgiving dinner at that house, in that house, right, that
is a good house to start a new life. I
won't believe because of the beautiful people who have lived
their life for me.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
I forgot. That's right, you were, We did have you
my favorite Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving so much to be thankful for
one thing.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Have you guys noticed the gas prices? I was so
proud of myself, she says, we'll listen to this.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
I thought like.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Two fourteen was a deal. Then I filled up for
two o six and I'm posting this on my Facebook page.
All these people are like, I filled up for one
to eighty six, Like that's ridiculous, how low?

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Right?

Speaker 4 (05:53):
What about eggs?

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Eggs have fallen too, But.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
My next door neighbor has chickens get free eggs.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
But you hear so many different stories from no matter
what side of the aisle you're on, and depending on
what station you listen to. And some people can feed
you a lot of information about how bad the economy is,
how prices are still up. But when you notice it yourself,
when you go to fill up, who.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Are you going to believe? Right? That's what matters is
your real life situation. There's stuffy.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
You here is so much of it is noise. It's
how you affect it would affect your own individual life.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Allar gallon is one hundred. It's fifteen bucks a week
for the average person. So it's sixty dollars a month
that they save just in gasoline.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
And people travel because who was living. That's what matters, rightly,
That's the thing I love about somebody.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
You know, when I went to Kroger the other night
in Sunbury, I felt like I was back home again.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
Everybody was nice. No one had pajamas on, no one
had meth mouth.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
No, there wasn't a bunch of people speaking languages I
didn't understand.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
I felt at home again. I felt like, now some
berries want to be crazy in five years.

Speaker 6 (07:00):
But I tell you what they said that five years ago.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
No, really.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
I did.

Speaker 6 (07:05):
Okay, my son's dad lives there.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
No, I just I love it.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
And then the mayor was as hard where he says, boots,
I want he recognize or flight thinging through Mollie.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
But he's like everybody, and everyone's nice. What happened to
Columbus to.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Meet phone lines? We have Dick on the line. Dick,
you called this a long time ago. You said Ohio
States winning it before anybody else did.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
This is Dick from Dayton.

Speaker 7 (07:31):
Right, Hey, Hey, I was good. I didn't get to
watch it, but the fourth quarter I thought to you, guys,
I know my friends, my cousins live in Cleveland, and
I'm telling you it was Oh they have to be
they have to be number one all around. With Ryan
Day and that quarterback, they are the best team I

(07:53):
think in the nation.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
And they're going to number one.

Speaker 7 (07:56):
They're going to I bet they will. It's so proud that,
you know, it's great to see it. You know, it's great.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
You called it. You called it a couple months ago.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
So you know, I asked yesterday producer yesterday, he's a
sports expert. I can't say his real name because he's
on a different station also, but he told me the
only person to get beat Ohio State is Ohio State. Yes,
and that's kind of a blanketed statement, but that's a
fact because even yesterday when we came out, we played
like dummies for the first ten minutes and then we
finally got our head out of.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
You know what and come back.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Yeah, I was a little start.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
It felt like last two years.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
I'm like, I can't believe this. Why kid, we do
this against that team.

Speaker 5 (08:39):
They've done this every game this season, every game season,
the first quarter.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
This is like what he's doing as a coach. Because
Randy's so so levelheaded. He's like, Mindy, it's so early,
would you relax?

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Exactly?

Speaker 4 (08:53):
Relaxed?

Speaker 1 (08:56):
So, Dick, did you have a good Thanksgiving?

Speaker 2 (08:59):
No?

Speaker 1 (08:59):
I guess he was buzzed. We have a lot to
talk about.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
The ladies from the Avenue Wellness Center are in and
they want you to have a new body and a
new brain for the new year.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
But there's some other things mixed in that they're going
to explain to you.

Speaker 4 (09:16):
Oh, Rob Indian Boots on News Radio six n WPVN
