Yeah, it's the spirit Rex in the morning on see

I think these days the sentence repeated to me most
frequently is close the door, you're gonna let a fly in.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
It is constant out at the farmhouse. He's just a
bunch of flies. Man. He set up these little traps
and stuff everywhere. I've got that little gun. What do
you call it, the the fly shooter gun? Shotgun thingy?
That's the ah, what's the.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Name of it.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
I can't It's a little gun and it takes salt.
It's a bug assault. Ah, thank you, ding ding? Where
the hell's my bell? It's the bug assault. And so
I chase flies with that mostly outside, but you know,
every day we managed to get like maybe one two
flies will follow me into the house or follow Michelle.

(00:49):
And Michelle has come up, I guess, with a plan.
Instead of her chasing after and killing the fly, she'll
she'll be she's trying to make it person. You know,
it's like, oh the fly. She's like, ah, there's a
fly in here. I'm like, oh, that's terrible, you know,
like whatever, I mean, it'll land eventually and then I'll

kill it with the bug assault. So she stepped up
her game now, she says, and she doesn't think that
I know what's happening here. She'd go, there's a fly
in here, and it landed on your toothbrush. It landed
on my toothbrush. Really, So we're standing in the kitchen
and she'll say it landed on your toothbrush to somehow

make it personal, so I will enact vengeance on said fly.
So just for fun, I end up like walking all
through the house, you know, with the bug assault thing,
and until I inevitably find the fly and then kill it.
But that's her new thing. There's a fly in the house.
I saw it on your toothbrush, really, So that's this

is how you motivate me to chase down the fly.
If you don't have one of these bug assault things,
I mean July fourth coming up.

Uh.

If you have like a backyard barbecue situation, you're cooking outdoors,
you know you're gonna get flies and stuff like that. Oh,
get a bug assault. It turns the entire thing into
a pleasure. More rock and roll coming up for you.
I don't get paid by bug assault either, I should
get like, you know, a bunch of them for free
to give away, but you know it doesn't just doesn't
work that way.
