(00:00):
Three things. Yes, Happy Friday. Ricky's got those three things. What's
going on? Brace yourself. HarryStyles has a new look. He has
shaved his head. All of hishair is gone. He was out at
the Sphere in Las Vegas, whichis that big, like massive sphere that
has all of the lights in it. You two is doing a huge residency
(00:20):
there right now. He went togo see the You two show with his
fairly new girlfriend Taylor Russell, andhe was pictured with no hair. It's
all shaved off. No word onthe reason why. I'm assuming it's probably
for a role in a film orsomething like that. I don't see why
he would like shave his head foranything else, because obviously that's his signature,
iconic look. I feel like hecould move undetected through the world with
(00:41):
no hair, that's what you think. Until they took pictures of him at
the Sphere. I mean they recognizehis girlfriend. So I'm gonna put a
photo up on one of seven fiveof the river their Instagram and Twitter.
You can kind of do a littlepole and see if you like it not.
I think he still looks great.Obviously it's Harry Styles, but Harry
is part of his thing like havinghair on his head. Josephine In twelve
South is going to close, endinga ten year run for the national restaurant.
(01:04):
It's last day will be December twentythird, They said in a statement.
We want to thank all of ourguests, friends, neighbors, and
our fantastic team members for the loveand support that we've experienced over the past
decade. Serving our community has beenour joy and a true pleasure. Sad
to see them go, but youknow, it happens, and it's probably
for them to go on to somethingbigger and better, if that's what we're
hoping for. And also the governmentwants you to know that you need to
(01:26):
stop putting pretty rhinestones on your steeringwheel. Crazy thought process, but the
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is tellingpeople not to put those rhinestones on their
steering wheel anymore because they can becomedislodged and they become like really aggressive in
a car crash, they can pokeyour eye out, they can end up
cutting your face, all sorts ofstuff, So you don't want that to
(01:48):
happen, especially when the air bagsdeploy because they're so close to the airbags.
No more rhinestones. I have totake mine off my steering wheel.
You have some, for real.My car came with it. So when
I bought my car, it alreadyhad the rhinestones on it. Did you
buy your cards, Los Angeles? It came with rhinestone, and all my
friends told me I had to keepit because obviously, growing up that was
(02:09):
a big thing for us. Iwas putting rhinestones on the steering wheel and
we thought it was cool. Obviouslyit's not considered that cool anymore, but
I kept it. So now Ihave to take them off. I don't
want to get hurt. The responsiblething to do, it's the safe thing
to do. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you need
to know. Ricky, thank youso much. Good morning everybody. Just
after six o'clock. It's one Oseven five the River. One O seven
five the River, raythe and Zachand Meno in the morning. Veterans Day
(02:30):
weekend. It's tomorrow, but Iknow we're observing today. A bunch of
kids are off school and stuff. So thank you to all the veterans out
there on behalf of everyone here atone of seven five the River. Thank
you for your service. One Oseven five the River, Heiky, Zach
and Mano in the morning. It'sFriday. We made it to the weekend.
Thank you for hanging out with us. It's Ricky, Zach and Mano
in the morning on one of sevenfive of the River. Friday means new
(02:53):
music, yes, which is whyit's my favorite day of the week,
and there's lots of new music toget into. These are my picks though,
and I two clips for you.So Jonah's brothers did a collab with
Bailly Zimmerman cool and it sounds sojust like peaceful. It's called strong Enough.
Here's a clip. Okay, herewe go. Song to b to
(03:15):
BG, oh gosh, long tocome, life is to shoot to list,
twist meselfing, come, make itsong enough last, long enough,
befool the skin, something cup on, make it strong and like I picture
(03:39):
this with like somebody running through afield and like sunshine, like just peaceful
moment. I don't know why.It reminded me a little bit of like
an old like nineties TV sitcom themesong or something Okay that works still peaceful
and exciting and happy. I waskind of thinking, like roll down your
windows and blare it. Oh,Okay, so you got I'm here for
it. Yeah, I was ready. Well, you love to sing things
(04:00):
like that, so you would justbelt it? I would, Zach's a
singer. And then this one.I have been waiting for a month.
Yes, you have for this songto come out, Happy White Boy Winter.
You're on TikTok. You know whatthat means. It's Jack Harlowe's loving
on me. Here's a c baby. I'll choke you, but I ain't
no killer baby twenty eight telling meI'm still a baby. I get love
(04:23):
Detroit light skill a baby, andthe thing about your boy ishi down.
But you can whip your no mehip your young m I S S I
O N A r y. He'ssharp like barbed wire. She stole my
heart and she got archived. I'llkeep it short with a slur. Farquhi
(04:44):
okay, the lord farquad line.It gets me every time. And he's
singing about missionary work in there. That's so sweet. It's so sweet.
Figure out what he was spelling. And he really cares about people, really,
Zach, it took you that longspelling. Oh my, that's gonna
be a big song. We're gonnahear a lot of that song's huge.
It's all over TikTok. Like Isaid, white Boy Winter is a thing
(05:05):
right now. If you watch theclips, it's like all of these white
boys just feel themselves and good forthem. I'm happy that you guys all
have something that you'd be excited about. One the River Ricky Zach and manow
in the Morning. Holidays seem tocome faster and faster every year. I
guess we just got to embrace it, all, right, do we do?
It's an opening weekend for ice outof Gaylord Opperland. My kids love
(05:27):
it. We took them last year. That slide is a lot of fun.
It is a lot of fun.I love that slide. Your new
companion to that morning coffee, RickyZach and menow in the Morning on the
River. Okay, Kevin Mano, there's a new Christmas trend for kids that
kept you up all night trying toresearch. And you need to tell us
what it is. Gaming up allnight. But yeah, I was going
down the rabbit hole last night.I saw an article. That's how it
(05:50):
started. I saw an article thatsaid the headline was jen Alpha Kids.
So that's kids born after twenty ten. I guess, oh, I didn't
know that they had a name.Yeah, obsessed with skincare could fuel holiday
spending. And that's my daughter. And I thought she was sort of just
like an anomaly, like really intolotions and things. And I wasn't sure
why. We were just with hercousin last weekend in New York and she
(06:11):
is the same way. They're bothseven, and they both are constantly putting
on lotions on their faces. Ohand I really yeah, it's I mean,
it really is kind of like oneof the healthier trends out there,
because it's important to you know, have a good skincare routine, but wild
young. I know, while researchingthis, I realized, See, my
daughter does not have a phone orTikTok or any of that stuff. But
some of the kids she goes toschool with they have older siblings and stuff,
(06:33):
so they're seeing this. It's abig thing for young kids on TikTok,
all these little skincare influencers for girlsthat might not be old enough to
use makeup. They're pushing lotions andwhatnot. So it's just become this fan.
It's kind of adorable. I thinkyou should get your daughter a phone
so that she can be a TikTokinfluencer, and she loves it, and
she loves to talk about it andto use these products. I think you
(06:55):
should definitely monetize on her. Monetizeon her. Zac believes the only reason
you have kids is to make moneyoff of them. Yeah, we have
made so many of her kids beforethat sort of we also pay them.
We put it into their funds andall that stuff, you know what I
mean. So yes, we havefeel a little bit better about it.
Kind have done that. Not readyto get her her own phone or get
her on tip. I probably needto get on TikTok because I know she
(07:17):
will. She's not that far awayfrom it, and I don't want to
be behind on these things that they'redoing right now. Just embrace the sweetness
of the idea that she just wantsto wear face lotion. I think as
long as they're using it properly,it's great, you know what I mean.
Like I don't want her to putsome lipliner under her eyes or something,
you know what I'm saying. Ialso love this because growing up we
had bath and body works. Ohyeah, the motions, the sweet peed,
(07:43):
those were the things that we allwanted, like we all wanted lotion,
which sounds so crazy to think aboutnow, but like as a kid,
that's all we wanted coming back around. Yeah, now it's a thing
again. That's crazy, but it'sgood to know. She's not alone.
It's a trend. So everybody,if you know a young girl, lotion
by lotion for Christmas is easy enough. Yep, three things you need to
know. Ricky Sanchez has those threethings. Jelly Roll had an accident backstage
(08:05):
at the CMA Awards. As youknow, he won New Artists of the
Year, and while he was soexcited that he won it, he was
out there just to showing it offand shattered into pieces on the ground of
bridge Stone Arena. Here he istalking to reporters backstage about it. I
was so excited. I was swingingaround and let somebody hold it. I've
been passing it around like a bagof popcorn. I've been just letting everybody
(08:26):
like a bag of potato, likewe were just all sharing or something.
I feel bad. Oh god,I was worried. The first thing I
said to my public was they're notgoing to take keeping from me, now,
are they? Oh? God?I love passing around a bag of
potatoes with my friends. He wasnervous. He just dropped it into pieces.
He didn't went on to tell reportersthat he had a spot specifically ready
for the award and everything. There'sa room in his home where he keeps
(08:48):
all of his stuff that means themost to him, like a guitar gifted
to him from Gary Rossington who playedfor Leonard Skinnard, Craig Morgan, handwritten
lyric sheet and eventually he wanted toput a shiny new hole war there.
He is going to get a newone though they will give him a new
one. I do have the video. It's up on one O seven five
of the River's Instagram account. Youcould check it out there. It's just
(09:09):
like ugh, spork, let's makethat new one plastic happen. Plastic one
and a glass one, so theplastic one can be passed around like a
bag of potatoes. Walmart has addedearly mornings sensory friendly hours in stores.
This is huge, so starting today, Walmart stores across the country have a
sensory Friendly hours that will create aless stimulating environment from ten eight to ten
(09:30):
am every single day, so eightto ten you can go in and expect
lower lights, they'll turn off theradio. They're going to change TVs to
static images. And the program ishere for people with sensory processing issues,
so that includes autism, ADHD andPTSD. Really great stuff. A lot
of stores are doing this. I'mhappy Walmart got on board. And Rolling
Stone has put out their predictions forthe Grammy nominees for Song of the Year.
(09:52):
This will all come out today. It'll be probably around I think it's
like eight, what is it,ten forty five? I think so,
yeah, close to eleven the Grammynomination. Okay, so later today the
Grammy nominations come out. Rolling Stonehas their predictions. These are the lists
of songs it may get Song ofthe Year if they're on point, Anti
Hero, Vampire, Lift Me Up, which is that Rihanna song, Kill
(10:13):
Bill, Last Night, Flowers,All My Life, and I Remember Everything?
Okay. Are the lists that theyhave put out. We're going to
talk more about this coming up.I think seven to twenty. We're going
to talk more about, you know, Grammy nominees and songs that came out
this year. I'm Ricky Sanchez andthose are the three things you need to
know. Ricky is Zach and Mannoin the Morning on the River. Schools
(10:35):
out today, so we're going toteach you something new. It's one of
seven five of the River, Zach, you got the fun fact of the
day. My favorite fun factor ofthe day, ever, is that Scotland
chose the unicorn as its national animal. That makes me so happy. That's
real. Yeah, oh god,I love that. Is it on their
flag? I hope? So itshould be thank you, mister Zach for
(10:56):
the education. Hey, we're gonnagive you our least two favorite songs of
the year, just a couple ofminutes. I one on seven five the
River, Ricky Zach and Mannow inthe Morning. On one of seven five.
I still feel so bad that JellyRoll broke his CMA award. Oh
I just want to hug him.Speaking of awards, Grammy nominations come out
today. It's one of seven fivethe River, Ricky, Zach and Manno
(11:18):
in the Morning. We thought it'dbe fun to go over our least favorite
songs of the year, because youknow, I mean, we all love
the Grammy. Nomination's gonna be bigobviously, well maybe not. In zach
skise, Zach, I feel likeyours a little contentious. Well, okay,
so the reason that mine is Ichose this song for my least favorite
song is because we played it somany times on one on seven five the
(11:39):
River. I get it that itwas stuck in my head and I feel
like it altered the vocabulary in mybrain, the vocabulary in your brain.
Yes, this sounds like an intensesong. Does it have long words?
Morgan walland last night? Oh what? Oh? Remember? Because of his
accent on it, I can literallynever say last night without saying last night.
(12:01):
I get it. And every timethat we would play it, Zach
would sing it land like I lovethis song. But we played it so
much and I was like, okay, so yes, it's not about You're
not saying it's a bad song.No, it's a good song. Yeah.
It just altered the chemistry and hisbrain in the incorrect way, where
then he became a Southern cowboy.Working in radio is a different animal.
(12:22):
We have to hear the same songsa lot. Kevin MANO, what's your
choice for your least favorite song thisyear? Well, come to find out,
this song did not come out thisyear, but I heard it this
year. It terrorized me this year. It's a couple of years older,
because I don't even know how wefound it, but my five year old
son became obsessed with this song andhe was constantly telling Alexa to play it.
It's somebody named Ricky Desktop, It'sthe chicken wing beat. It is
(12:45):
so repetitive and annoying and it droveme crazy this year. Oh yes,
I know this. This is abop hot dog and blown it. Upset
about this. I'm over here dancingin your house all day, every day
for a year. I'm over heredancing to it. Yeah, I like
(13:07):
it. I'm sorry that it's terroricey though. Yeah, the rough year,
you know my choice. It goesright back to Zach singing again.
That is just the demise of everyonefor songs. So Britney Spears came out
with that song with will I amOh yeah minal business. Yeah, there
was a lot of hype around thatthen kind of just went away. Yeah,
well, Zach was still real hypedabout it, okay, because he
(13:28):
mindel biz, miniz mine no business. He's a smiling ear to ear right
now. We didn't even play itthat often and Zach just play it for
himself. That's also pretty repetitive.Kind of like Chicken wing Bead. It's
very repetitive and it's not necessarily abad song. Again, none of these
(13:50):
are like bad songs. It's justthe thought process that we have behind them
that we're all personally traumatized. Ricky'sZach and Mano in the morning on its
Veterans Day weekend. Veterans Day istomorrow on behalf of everyone here at one
oh seven five the River. Thankyou to all the men and women.
(14:11):
Thank you. We love and appreciateall of you. Very important day.
Ricky, Zach and Manow in themorning. We got Green Day tickets.
They are gonna play at Giotis Park. We got to play Kevin Mano's Game
of the Day for them. It'sthe Green Game again, all right.
We I've refined it. It's gonnabe better, Okay, promise we want
to play six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine seven
(14:31):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in themorning on one playing the Green Game for
Green Day tickets with Kevin Mano's Gameof the Day. We played the Green
Game the other day and uh,it was kind of hard. People were
sort of mad at it for somereason. But I'm so confident in this
concept Holly Day Tickets, Green Game, it just makes sense. Uh so
(14:52):
I've refined it a bit. Wehave Brandy and the Burrow listening. How
you doing, Brandy? I'm good? Are you ready to play the Green
Game for Green Day Tickets? Can'teven say it right? I'm ready to
say I hope, No, No, It's gonna be much easier. So
I'm gonna ask you some questions. If you get two out of three,
you win. You're going to seeGreen Da Are you ready? Which friends
(15:13):
character's last name was green? Rachel? Hey? Okay, one down,
all right? What actor recently releaseda book about his life called Green Lights
called Green Lights Green Lights? Yeah, I don't know, Okay, it's
Matthew McConaughey. All right, allright, all right, you staw some
(15:35):
you have one watch chance you havesome time to make up for it,
Okay. In twenty eleven, RyanReynolds start as what green superhero is going
to see Green Day Geotis Park nextsummer. Congratulations, we are so excited
(15:56):
for you, Like I always say, take lots of pictures and videos.
Make sure you t one of seven, five the river and everything. See
the Green Game wasn't so bad.It was much better this time. Kevin.
I'm sorry that I didn't have asmuch faith in you as I should.
And then what am I gonna dowith all these extra green questions?
Hopefully never use them again. Hopefullywe have more green to tickets at some
point in the future. Brandy, thank you so much for calling and listen
(16:17):
and hang on. Okay, okay, three things you need to know.
Ricky's got those three things? What'sgoing on? Gillian Ludwig, who was
hit by a stray bullet in Edgehill, has passed away while in the hospital
under extreme critical condition. Police haveidentified Shaquille Taylor as a suspect and they
are working on changing his charges atthis time. We're sending a lot of
love and light to her family andher friends into our whole community right now,
(16:38):
because this is an extremely difficult thingto try to understand. So we
are with you and sending everybody hugsand lots of love right now. Uh
Nicole Kidman, she has an iconicamc ad and it looks like it's getting
a sequel. The amc ad isso well known that a video recently went
viral of a moviegoer who stood upand recited it. Word for word,
(17:00):
here's the ad, and we gosomewhere we've never been before, not just
entertained, but somehow we've borne togetherdazzling images on a huge sofa screen,
sound that I can feel somehow, hotbreak feels good in a place like this.
(17:22):
That line is the one line thatgot everybody, that made that viral.
So they have a new script alreadywritten for a follow up. They're
describing it as taking a very differentapproach that is a little bit of a
wink to the one that they've alreadydone. So now that the SAG strike
is over, they're gonna make itso eventually you'll see that coming to all
the AMC theaters. And speaking ofmovies, Inside Out to release their first
(17:42):
trailer yesterday. It looks like we'regetting some new emotions. The first Inside
Out was a big Pixar success. It was about all the emotions inside a
little girl named Riley. Now she'sa teenager, so there are a lot
of new areas to explore. Here'sa clip Orange. Who made the concept
orange? Do I look orange?I didn't touch it. Orange is not
(18:03):
my color. No, I'm meHello, Oh my gosh, I'm anxiety.
Where can I put myself a newemotion. Wow, I'm sorry.
We wanted to make such a goodfirst impression. What do you mean we
It sounds like it's gonna be sogood. Unfortunately, Bill Hayter and Mindy
Kayling will not be back for thisone. They were the voices of fear
and disgust. But we are gettingMaya Hawk, who's gonna play anxiety.
(18:26):
She's strange with things. Yeah, comes out June fourteenth next year. I
will be in theaters watching it thefirst day. I loved inside the way.
I have a feeling that my kidsand you are gonna go to the
movies a lot. Jake into themovie. We'll watch Inside Out two together.
Yeah, I love this. I'mRickie Sanchez. And those are the
three things you need to know hereto make Nashville traffic just a little less
stressful. Ricky Zach and Manno inthe Morning on massively improved your mental health.
(18:52):
It's a good question. It's oneof seven five the river. Mental
health is important. We're getting intothe you know winter months. Your seasonal
impression is really stressful. Holidays arestressful. So if you have something,
we do have a list, butif you have your own tip or trick
or something you'd like to add tothe list. Six one five, seven,
three seven, nine, one ohseven. What has massively improved your
mental health? Ricky is Zach andManno in the morning on one O seven
(19:17):
five The river mental health is important? Okay, So what has massively improved
(19:44):
your mental health as you've gone throughyour life? For me, I would
say it's exercise that is on thislist here that we have. But regularly
exercising is very important, Okay.I mean, I agree with you.
I don't do it, but yeah, it's supposed to be great for you.
If there's science behind it. It'sone of something about the river.
We got Jill in Columbia. Jill, what has massively improved your mental health?
(20:04):
So this sounds terrible, but Istopped watching the news. Oh that
doesn't sound terrible at all. Thatsounds like a good idea. Actually,
yeah, I get it. Ifwe could stop watching the news, we
would, We just can't because wegot to watch it. You know,
what's happening for you right part ofyour job. Yeah, it just honestly,
it just made me depressed. There'snot good news on the news,
(20:26):
and I needed happy stuff. SoI'd rather get it's really important. I'll
find out through social media or whereverelse. Sure, but isn't it And
I'm sure it's probably always been thecase. The you know, the news
is stressful, but we just livein this constant twenty four hour news cycle
in between the political divides and thepandemic. Like it just it's gotten so
bad over the last few years, gotten way worse for sure. Thank you
(20:49):
Jill for hanging out with us,of course, appreciate your test day.
I have a good weekends. Deck. Do you have one? Yeah?
Mine was to get off of webonDH the hypochondriact. Yeah, I've had
every single disease on that web andD has ever created. I think you've
had those diseases. Yeah, you'venever actually had any of them. I
(21:11):
have not had any of them, but I have self diagnosed myself with all
of them. I think when Imet you were like, I have Legionneers
disease. Yeah literally, yes,So I had to get off of web
and D and that helped me.Like literally my boyfriend blocked it on my
phone. Yeah good. I haven'theard about it in at least two months.
I know, isn't it good? It's amazing. Do you have one,
Ricky, I would say music alwayshelps my mental health. I always
(21:33):
listen to music whenever I'm not feelinggreat and in a bad like mental state.
It's always music that's massively improved mymental state. That's a good one
here. I'll rattle up some ofthese from the list. Sleep Getting the
appropriate amount of sleep very important. It doesn't happen for me. People said.
Cutting out alcohol is a big sonot gonna happen for me. Happen
here either, sorry. Learning tosay no to things that's hard for a
(21:55):
lot, that's a big one.A lot of people said getting divorced.
I'm guessing those people. It doesn'tapply to everybody, but some people are
in a situation where it might help. Uh. Cardio, Like I said,
exercise, getting sunshine is on here. Yes, sunshine always makes me
happy, which is part of thereason why these winter months can be kind
of oppressed to me and sad.Yeah. Practicing gratitude okay, a good
(22:17):
one. My boyfriend does that everyday. Dell AJ taught me that,
so I do it every single morning. I wake up and I'll be like,
as I'm making my side of thebed, I'll be like Hey,
thank you for the sheets I gotto sleep in last night. Thank you
for the air conditioning that kept mewhatever. Thank you, like just saying
thank you to everything as you're gettingready for the day. It alters your
brain state. You're thinking positively. That's great. And the last one I'll
do here is less social media, which I think a lot of us could
(22:38):
benefit from. That's kind of likewatching the news, just surrounding yourself with
all of that negativity positive vibes exactly. Yeah, So it's a good list
if you want to add to.It's six one, five, seven,
three, seven, nine, oneoh seven. What improved your mental state?
On the River Heiky, Zach andman in the morning. That has
massively improved your mental health? It'sone of us and five the River Rachel
(23:00):
and Gallaty and tell us your story. So one of the things that has
really helped me is cutting out toxicpeople, and that exclude family. Yeah,
that's a big one. Family's hardto cut out. But you're right,
if they're toxic, you don't needthat rama, correct And I think
that that's something that a lot ofpeople don't realize, and they don't always
realize booths toxic in their lives. But that has helped me so much,
(23:22):
like I missed the family members. But at the same time, and we're
doing so much more damage to methat it actually is improved my life,
So I'm okay with it. Wouldyou like to think that one day you
guys will be able to work throughthe issues and you know, bury the
hatchet. I would hope so,But at the same time, it doesn't
really seem likely. This has beenfor years now and they just don't seem
like they're going to change. Ifeel for you. There have been a
(23:47):
lot of people that I've had tocut out in my life. But I
want to say that I'm very proudof you for doing that, because it's
really hard to make that connection andthat understanding and then doing that to somebody
who's so close to you in yourlife. That's extremely difficult. So I'm
proud of you. Oh, thankyou. And if you ever feel like
lonely or whatever, just go toOlive Garden. Yes, always, because
when you're there, you're family.Oh my god, Kevin Dad jokes.
(24:11):
Thank you, Zach. That wassweet. We appreciate you so much.
We hope you have a great day, and we're giving you hugs. Thanks
for being a part of our morning, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the
morning. The pure excitement of thisgrown woman in this daily double tap today
is amazing. It's one of sevenfive of the river. There is apparently
(24:33):
a way to get all of gardencheese graders, and all you got to
do is ask them. Are theyspecial in any way? They are just
very basic plastic cheese graders. Yep. But it's a thing. She tried
it out. Hear her reaction here. I saw on TikTok that you can
buy those cheese graders. Can youbuy those cheese graders? You can?
Yes? Does it cheese you can? Yes? Sorry, everybody hilarious.
(25:06):
Do you want a new one?Yeah? Okay, So I love the
fact that you can buy the cheesegraders, But the fact that she asked
the question, do you want anew one as opposed to a used one?
Yeah? I use cheese greater alittle weird. I don't think I
want to use one either, butI will say that like this, this
gives me hope that there's something thatI could be excited about as much again
one day. She sounds like agiddy little kid. Yeah, she does.
(25:27):
She's a grown woman. I'm happyfor her. I don't get it
at all, but I'm happy forher. I mean, I think we're
all happy for her. How wouldyou listen to that excitement and not be
excited as well? I want acheese greater now my day. That's too
Olive Garden mentions this hour. Yeah, completely here, Ricky, Zach and
Menno in the morning on
