Specifically, they're looking for help.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
During their eight pm to midnight shifts and their midnight
to seven am shifts at the men's shelter on three
hundred Commerce Street. They were warned on Facebook with the
post that volunteers are the only way that they keep
the shelter running. So if they can't get enough volunteers,
they're going to have to close this shelter, which helps
so many unhoused during the extreme cold. So if you
(01:23):
can volunteer, reach out to Clarksoil Urban Ministries. Find a
day that you can do it, even if it's just
one day, that's so going to help them. En boxer
Muhammad Ali is being honored with a postal stamp. The
USPS is going to hold a firstive issue event in
the boxing legends hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, on Thursday. The
(01:45):
stamps are going to feature a black and white photo
of Muhammad Ali in his famous boxing pose along with
his name on the stamp. This also is just so
fitting because he famously said quote, I should be a
postage stamp because that's the only.
Speaker 6 (01:59):
Way I'll ever get licked.
Speaker 5 (02:01):
Goodness, well, you know, getting okay lick like somebody beat you.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Yeah, yeah, like getting licked like getting hit, but also
licking because you gotta lick a stamp to stick.
Speaker 6 (02:12):
It on the on the envelope.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
So this is just so fitting. It makes so much sense.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
The stamps can be pre ordered online right now, Sanchez,
And those are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 5 (02:23):
I'm glad you explained the licking thing. I thought Muhammed
he wanted to get licked.
Speaker 4 (02:27):
Hey, if you did let him, Yeah, that's okay.
Speaker 5 (02:31):
I'm not judging. Thank you, Ricky.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
We've got tickets in a few minutes for the first
caller of the day.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
I'm gonna try to get this right today. It's a
tongue twister.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Fashion for a fraction at the factory in Franklin, coming
out here in just a few minutes, First caller of
the day.
Speaker 7 (02:45):
We're yours next, Ricky Zach And in the morning.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
Good morning, it's one O seven five the River.
Speaker 8 (02:52):
Who's this? Good morning, Ricky. This is Nicole. How are you.
Speaker 6 (02:56):
I'm good, Nicole, how are you?
Speaker 8 (02:59):
I'm in a really move this morning. Hopefully I'm going
to Oh my gosh, I'm gonna try and butcher it.
I tried to just remember what what he said. Fashion
for a fraction in Franklin's warehouse or something I tried.
I tried.
Speaker 6 (03:14):
That was really good, honestly, Nicole.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
It's fashion for a fraction at the factory at Franklin's
Liberty Hall on February fifteenth.
Speaker 8 (03:23):
I was close.
Speaker 9 (03:24):
I tried, really good.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
We have it in front of us, so for somebody
who's doing it off of memory, very impressively.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
I think they scheduled at February fifteenth just to mess
with us even more, like that's just two in the f's.
Speaker 10 (03:36):
I really like it.
Speaker 8 (03:37):
Yeah, it's like a jingle for them, you know.
Speaker 11 (03:40):
Yeah, seeing it for me Fashion for a fraction February
fifty and for a fraction.
Speaker 5 (03:47):
I lighting it, guys pretty good.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Maybe I'll give you more of a discount if you
can pronounce his tongue twister properly as you walk.
Speaker 8 (03:53):
In the door.
Speaker 5 (03:54):
What are you up to today? To call you anyway
to work? If so, tell us what you do.
Speaker 8 (03:58):
I honest, and I don't mean this just on arrogant.
I have a really really cool job. I basically work
for Dollar Generals the corporate office here in Goodlettsville, and
what I get to do is I make planograms for
the store associates like in store, so they get like
a picture that they're expected to set like a certain
(04:19):
section of the store, Like I'll just say candy at that.
So I do the work that helps them get that
picture and what it's supposed to look like and understand
how the how to set the shelf up. I love
my job. I know I sound like a spokesperson though
my job at least is very fulfilling and it's really fun.
Speaker 9 (04:40):
I love that for you, Nicole, I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 11 (04:43):
I used to work at Cracker Barrel and we would
get like all of those pictures of like the different displays.
If you would get people like you, would get on
my nerves because I'm like how.
Speaker 8 (04:54):
The buyers, the little man that builds the picture, they
do all the decisions.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
You said the same feelings when I worked at Delia's
and justice, Like, how am I supposed to make it
look like this?
Speaker 8 (05:06):
Yeah, and give me a call, send me an email.
I'll be a friend, but just don't yell at me.
It's not my.
Speaker 9 (05:11):
Fault, Okay, don.
Speaker 8 (05:14):
If I was able, I'm not saying this to be weird.
If I was ever able to have like a day
at the one O seven to five radio show. That
would be so cool to hang out with you guys.
I don't know if that's something you guys ever do,
but I feel like your fans would absolutely love to
like hang out with you guys.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
That is the sweetest thing I think anybody could say
to us, and I think you might be able to
make that work.
Speaker 8 (05:36):
Oh my gosh, if you ever did do that, I
would really love it. I know that sounds weird. I
uh have one of your first stickers too, so I
could get you guys to sign it whenever you did
one of those You guys did one of those giveaways,
and I was one of the lucky people to like.
I think I got one of the first ones, or
like the second sticker that you guys mailed out, but
I still have it.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
My herd, Nicole, you're making every day right now, all
three of us are smiling your ear.
Speaker 8 (06:02):
Oh you said, well, you guys are really important. Now
I really sound like the ultimate fangirl. I'm so sorry,
but you guys are a really important part of Nashville.
You wake us up every morning, like we form this
odd parasocial relationship with you guys. We watched you get engaged.
We've watched Zak's boyfriend's story throughout the years, and now
(06:24):
we have uh now, now we get to learn about
Kevin and sorry, my brain was just blaking. I'm so sorry, Kevin.
I love you and your wife and your kids, and
I hope that date night waiting great.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Thank you.
Speaker 9 (06:36):
You're literally so sweet. I'm obsessed with you.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
We are ready to cry because that really is so
so sweet to hear, and it really means a lot
to us, Like you have no idea how much.
Speaker 4 (06:47):
That means to us.
Speaker 5 (06:47):
I Willy is coming in.
Speaker 9 (06:50):
No, I know.
Speaker 8 (06:50):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 7 (06:53):
That's okay.
Speaker 6 (06:54):
We yappers ourselves, we get it.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Nicole.
Speaker 6 (06:57):
You did get the tickets into fashion.
Speaker 9 (06:59):
For a fraction though.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
You are the first caller of the day, so you
are getting those congratulations.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
Are gonna have so much fun.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
There's amazing boutiques that you're gonna shop when you're there
and hang on the lines.
Speaker 6 (07:09):
So we can get your info. Let's see if we
can set up a day for you to come in
and hang.
Speaker 4 (07:12):
Out with us.
Speaker 8 (07:13):
I would absolutely love that. Thank you so much, amazing
hang on the line, love.
Speaker 5 (07:17):
Wow, Nicole's awesome.
Speaker 6 (07:18):
The energy is phenomenal.
Speaker 11 (07:20):
It feels like we paid her to say that if
we did it, it was out of nowhere.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
We're going to start the day. We are officially out
of time. Though sometimes you get someone with one word answer.
Sometimes you get inn call wake up.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
Happy with the Ricky Zach and Manno in the Morning
on River.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
Friend Zach here is kind of like the king of travel.
He travels all the time. He's constantly on vacates.
Speaker 9 (07:43):
I love too, And.
Speaker 3 (07:44):
Apparently you have a question for Kevin and I about
how we travel.
Speaker 5 (07:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (07:48):
So I'm going on like a little week and getaway
in a couple of weeks with some friends. And I
realized that there's two different kinds of travelers, and I
want to know which one you are?
Speaker 2 (07:57):
Only two, okay, Zach is constantly on these little quests,
these journeys.
Speaker 5 (08:02):
We're gonna find it.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
Right after the song, He'll he'll tell us all the
two types of travelers.
Speaker 5 (08:06):
You can see which type you are as.
Speaker 7 (08:07):
Well, Ricky Zach and Minnow in the Morning the River.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
According to Zach, there are two types of travelers just too,
and he wants to know which types we are.
Speaker 5 (08:21):
Ricky and I, Yeah.
Speaker 9 (08:22):
I kind of want to know, like where you land
on this.
Speaker 11 (08:24):
So I'm going on like a quick little weekend getaway
in a couple of weeks where we go friends. We're
going to Protavaarta in Mexico.
Speaker 9 (08:31):
Yeah, I've been before. I love it. I went there
for my thirtieth birthday. Actually that's what I thought. Okay.
Speaker 11 (08:36):
Yeah, And so yesterday, like in our little group chat
about the trip, he sends an entire itinerary, including our
flight numbers, what time we land in, like just an
entire itinerary of every single.
Speaker 9 (08:49):
Day and what time.
Speaker 11 (08:50):
And I was like, I have never traveled like this
a day in my life. Are you like someone that
makes an entire itinerary?
Speaker 6 (08:58):
Why are you looking at me like that?
Speaker 9 (09:00):
Kevin's already shaking his head. No, so I knew that answer.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Ze is staring me down, Like if I say yes,
he's like never.
Speaker 4 (09:07):
Gonna speak to me again.
Speaker 9 (09:09):
Yes and no.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
I like to schedule out some things and like have
an itinerary and know exactly what's going on.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
I'm a I'm a planner though, guys, you know that
about me spreadsheet.
Speaker 7 (09:21):
The tone at.
Speaker 6 (09:21):
Which you said that made me a little nervous.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
He does have like several different Excel spreadsheets going for
different things for the show at all times.
Speaker 5 (09:30):
Just look at the sheet.
Speaker 6 (09:34):
The sheet. I am very organized that way.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
Like I like to plan and I never used to
be like that, but I do like to plan a
little bit. But I will say, uh, I guess this
doesn't really help.
Speaker 6 (09:45):
I like plan spontaneous days too.
Speaker 9 (09:48):
I like that though.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
I like that, which I guess isn't very spontaneous because
it's still planned. But you know, I have like specific
days that are planned for, like relaxation, planned for activities,
planned to be SPONTANEO isn't decide on the day.
Speaker 9 (10:01):
I can't.
Speaker 11 (10:03):
If I'm excited about this itinerary or if I'm if
it's stressing me out.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
What types of things that are a planned for you guys, Okay,
dinners and massages.
Speaker 11 (10:12):
Dinners and then we have a reservation at a beach club.
Then we have a dinner, and then we have a
drag brunch and then we're going I'm very excited for
this one going We're going on a buy ilumin Essence tour.
Speaker 9 (10:21):
I'm so jealous. I know I'm going to be so
excited for that one.
Speaker 11 (10:25):
But like there's literally every single thing, there's a cabana
at this time, there's brunch at this time, there's.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
If I could go on a trip and somebody would
plan out of the schedule like that and and secure
the reservations, I would be grateful.
Speaker 11 (10:37):
Okay, So I need to practice gratitude because it gave
me anxiety. When he sent the link yesterday, I was like,
what is this?
Speaker 5 (10:46):
Oh, I would say, thank you, don't worry about anything.
Everybody should travel with one of them.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Okay, don't drink the water, okay, noted, All right, you did.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
You need to know?
Speaker 5 (11:01):
Well, let's go.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
It's just after seven o'clock on this Wednesday morning. Hope
you're having a nice one so far, Ricky's got those
three things.
Speaker 3 (11:08):
Trevor Noah will host the Grammy Awards for his sixth.
Speaker 4 (11:10):
And final time.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
This will also be the last telecast for CBS, which
has been the home of the Grammy since nineteen seventy three.
Next year, ABC is going to have the Grammys and
the rights of the Grammys for the next decade, so
there will be a new host. The show is going
to air live from Los Angeles on Sunday, February first.
For you to check out where Kendrick Lamar leads with
nine nominations, and Bruno Mars is a rumor to be performing,
(11:35):
even though the Recording Academy they haven't actually formally announced anything.
Those are the rumors as of right now. I will
keep you updated when they do announce, though. We have
an update on the Downtown Library of Parking garage. The
garage was severely damaged back in June of last year
from a fire that left it unusable.
Speaker 4 (11:54):
I don't know if you guys remember that.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
I know everybody that parks Downtown remembers because it's the
only affordable parking area pretty much because Metropolis owns everything
else in the entire city at this point, so a
lot of people have been obviously waiting for updates. The
good news is that, according to end Dot engineers believe
that they can repair the damage.
Speaker 6 (12:13):
They don't need to completely demolish the structure.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
There are going to be areas that do have to
be demolished, but just not the whole thing, which is
a positive because that means that hopefully this gets done
faster than we expected.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
The plan is to reopen some.
Speaker 3 (12:27):
Floors on the lower levels as quickly as possible to
allow for people to kind of use the garage as
they continue to work on the severely damaged floors, which
happen to be like fourth and fifth floor.
Speaker 6 (12:37):
There are still cars in there right now, which is crazy.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
So hopefully all of this really just gets knocked out.
Speaker 4 (12:44):
Well, I guess that's a weird phrasing for it knocked out.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
Hopefully this all gets done very soon because obviously I
know the library wants their parking garage back. I know
everybody that's a local that uses that parking garage wants
it back. So fingers crossed it gets done real fast.
And Delta has a but in its first lounge that's
not inside an airport. The Delta Lounge is actually inside
Las Vegas is Sphere, the entertainment venue, So the new
(13:08):
Delta Skuy three sixty club is for concertgoers and their
hospitality experience is specifically tied to shows and special events
that will happen at the Sphere.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (13:17):
This is part of a multi year PLAT partnership with
Delta so they can do branding on the outside, So
expect to see a lot of Delta branding videos.
Speaker 4 (13:26):
A lot of those videos end up going viral that
they put on the Sphere because it's so cool. I
want to go so bad, Kevin. I want to check
out a show there so bad.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
I think that I might go this spring. I think
no doubt might be the thing that gets me there.
Speaker 5 (13:38):
Stop it with you, but I want to do.
Speaker 4 (13:42):
You want to get tickets. We can get tickets right
now to do it.
Speaker 6 (13:45):
I'm so ready to go.
Speaker 4 (13:46):
I need to check it out. I don't have a.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
Delta anything though, so we can't go to the Delta Lounge.
Speaker 6 (13:51):
But I think it'll be a cool experience all around.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Just found out about the Delta Lounge, so I'm not
don't feel like I'm missing out.
Speaker 6 (13:57):
Sanchez and those are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
Thank you, Ricky. Right after Alex Warren, we are learning.
Professor Zach is ready. He's standing by hiss.
Speaker 5 (14:06):
Got a fact.
Speaker 7 (14:06):
Zack's facts now, Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
Hope you're ready to grow your brains. It's time for
Zack spax on one of seven five the River.
Speaker 9 (14:16):
Well, this one blew my mind.
Speaker 11 (14:17):
But did you guys know that ducks actually quack in
regional accents?
Speaker 9 (14:21):
No, no, this is so true.
Speaker 11 (14:23):
So there's a professor out of London's Middlesex University when
they said that London ducks have a louder, rougher quack
kind of described as like a sound like a shout
or a laugh or something versus the more relaxed sounds
of countryside ducks.
Speaker 5 (14:39):
Interesting. Okay, so let's do this.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Ricky is from New Jersey, I'm from the Chicago Land area,
and Zach is from Nashville. So let's do our quacks
and in those regional.
Speaker 6 (14:48):
Zach's not gonna do it.
Speaker 9 (14:49):
I'll do it first.
Speaker 5 (14:51):
Please.
Speaker 7 (14:52):
Quack.
Speaker 5 (14:53):
That's a New Jersey quack, very aggressive quack. That's a
Chicago quack.
Speaker 9 (14:58):
Quaiek that's the southern quack.
Speaker 5 (15:05):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 11 (15:06):
What And there's your fact of the day.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
Listen, and we don't judge. This is a fun little
thing that we do every so often. You get to
confess something that would otherwise seem a little embarrassing or strange,
I guess you could say, and we will hear you out,
and we promise I to judge you. If you want,
you can be anonymous for this, uh, or you tell
us your name. I mean, Zach's gonna tell us something
about him where we're going to listen and not judge.
Speaker 11 (15:40):
Okay, good, good, good, Okay, listen and don't judge. But
I eat my pizza with mayonnaise on it.
Speaker 7 (15:47):
Like I hold.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
Thank you for opening up, Zach. Six seven seven. If
there is anything you want to get off your chest,
tell maybe it's a little embarrassing. You don't tell many people.
We are here for you, and this is a judgment
free zone. Okay, six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
one oh seven, perfectly normal behaviors.
Speaker 7 (16:09):
At one, Ricky, Zach and mannow in the morning, listen.
Speaker 5 (16:15):
And we don't judge. We do this from time to time.
If you have anything you'd like to uh.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
You know, confide and your friends over here at the river,
we're all ears and it's a judgment free zone.
Speaker 5 (16:24):
Ricky, do you have something you would like to get
off your chest?
Speaker 3 (16:26):
You I do before we, you know, get into any
phone calls, because we do have some.
Speaker 4 (16:30):
People on the line.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
Uh, you have to listen and you can't judge me. Okay,
And I know that Zach is going to so I
already see your face gearing up for the judgment.
Speaker 6 (16:39):
You're gonna have to settle down over there.
Speaker 9 (16:40):
I need botox, then, if you can read me already.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
I I sometimes will watch episodes of a show that
I'm supposed to be watching with my fiance prior to
watching it with him, okay, because he takes too long
to actually sit down with me and walk some of
those episodes, And these things get ruined for me online
because I'm constantly online spooking for news stories. So sometimes
(17:06):
I watch it so that I could still be like
shocked and excited about what's happening.
Speaker 11 (17:11):
So whenever he gets home from work and he's like, hey, babe,
you want to watch that episode?
Speaker 9 (17:14):
Do you just sit down and act like you've never
seen it before?
Speaker 6 (17:17):
Precisely?
Speaker 9 (17:18):
Do you rewind it all.
Speaker 5 (17:19):
The way to the beginning?
Speaker 9 (17:20):
Oh my?
Speaker 2 (17:21):
Because yeah, like Netflix will show you if something's been watched,
you know, so if.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
You're rewinded, Okay, I knew you were going to judge.
Speaker 5 (17:31):
I didn't know judgment.
Speaker 6 (17:32):
What do you mean, poor aj?
Speaker 9 (17:34):
Then just the fact that he's engaged to a pathological
li judgment is that not judgment. That's not a judgment.
That's a judgment.
Speaker 4 (17:41):
That's judgment.
Speaker 9 (17:42):
That's a factual state.
Speaker 6 (17:44):
That is straight up judgment.
Speaker 5 (17:45):
Judgment free zone.
Speaker 11 (17:46):
Okay, judge, I'm listening and I'm judging really hard.
Speaker 6 (17:53):
I think the whole purpose of this entire thing.
Speaker 9 (17:56):
We're doing really trying.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
But you know, I like aj Moore, Wow, listens to
the show the podcast every day, so he's going to
hear this.
Speaker 5 (18:03):
And how do you feel that this will go at home?
Speaker 4 (18:06):
Probably not great?
Speaker 7 (18:07):
Okay, Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the Morning the.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
River, Ricky Zach and Mannow in the Morning. We listen
and we don't judge. We are asking for confessions. Uh,
something you want to get off your chest? Is this
Darlene in Nashville.
Speaker 12 (18:23):
Yes, Hey, good morning guys.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
Hi Arlen, thank you for being a part of this
and using your your name may or may not be
a real name.
Speaker 5 (18:29):
I don't know what do you got.
Speaker 8 (18:30):
There's a lot of Darlene's in Nashville, so we can
go with that.
Speaker 7 (18:34):
So.
Speaker 12 (18:35):
I had just gotten a new Apple Watch, and I
still was getting used to it, accustomed to the feature
that it can respond or record your what you're saying
and transcribe it into text.
Speaker 8 (18:46):
And I work graveyard shifts.
Speaker 12 (18:49):
So I was taking a nap in the middle of
the day, not knowing that my boss's boss was texting me,
and I'm an avid night texture whether I coherent or not,
and I decided to use my Apple Watch to respond
back to my boss's boss. But it wasn't anything good
that my boss's boss should have heard. It was actually
(19:11):
talking crap about my boss, oh, Darling.
Speaker 8 (19:16):
And I had to climb myself out of that.
Speaker 12 (19:18):
And I totally just blamed my watch and said, I
just got this watch.
Speaker 8 (19:22):
I don't know what it's doing, but it's had a
mind of its own.
Speaker 12 (19:25):
I don't know if I got away with it.
Speaker 4 (19:27):
But my watch, boss, it's not me.
Speaker 9 (19:30):
It was it was.
Speaker 8 (19:31):
It was pretty bad. I woke up immediately and realized
what I.
Speaker 5 (19:34):

my stomach sank.

which you will see if you win the tickets.

Speaker 4 (23:33):
Whole new vibe.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
Well, I guess I shouldn't say whole new vibe, but
two brothers and a friend are bringing it back. They're
going to do a balance of nostalgia with a little
bit of newness, so it'll have a little bit of
a new vibe.
Speaker 4 (23:44):
The idea of newness may.
Speaker 3 (23:46):
Scare some fans from the original spot, but you can
still expect some of your favorites, like the milkshakes and
the chocolate malt cake.

They even have a six.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
Hundred and fifty dollars charzard which is in like a
showcase with a themed environment and everything. These really are
geared towards collectors as opposed to kids.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
Just to give a heads up.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
The sets range from five hundred and eighty seven to
nearly seven thousand pieces, so, like I said, not really
for the kids so much as they are for like
the adults and the collectors.
Speaker 6 (24:42):
Pre Orders are already open.
Speaker 3 (24:44):
The full lineup is going to hit shelves on February
twenty seventh, Amrique Sanchez And those are.
Speaker 4 (24:49):
The three things you need to know.
Speaker 7 (24:50):
One oh seven five the River, Ricky, Zach and Mennow
in the morning.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
Where are some of the most ridiculous dumb song lyrics
that you know of?
Speaker 4 (24:59):
It's one of seven five of the River.
Speaker 3 (25:01):
Every time that we play, uh, this one specific song.
I had some help by post Malone and Morgan Wallen.
It drives me insane. The one part where they say
it takes two to break a heart.
Speaker 4 (25:16):
Into rhyme two with two.
Speaker 5 (25:18):
No, that drives me crazy.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
The worst part is that there are so many things
that rhyme with two new in both versions, like I
knew you once and this is brand new flu.
Speaker 9 (25:28):
You you Like, there's so many things that rhyme with two.
Why did you try to rhyme two with two?
Speaker 6 (25:33):
It doesn't work?
Speaker 2 (25:34):
Yeah, And that's bothered Ricky since we first heard, since
that's first release, she's had a problem with that.
Speaker 5 (25:39):
And she still does. We're playing all the time.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
If you have any lyrics that jump out of you,
things that drive you crazy. We could go on about
this for a long time, but we want to hear
from you. Six one five, seven, three seven nine one
o seven one.
Speaker 7 (25:51):
Seven five Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning Chapel.
Speaker 9 (25:56):
In in Nashville.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
Welcome to one of seven five the River. What are
some song lyrics that you're just like, God, that's bad
or just dumb?
Speaker 8 (26:04):
The Taylor Swift song that she uses all.
Speaker 5 (26:07):
The the Travis Kelsey one.
Speaker 8 (26:10):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (26:10):
Would that One's that got a.
Speaker 6 (26:14):
Lot of innuendo behind it, doesn't it?
Speaker 8 (26:18):
Yes, It's like it's just an awful song to listen to.
Speaker 9 (26:22):
Wow, Okay, coming for the jugular.
Speaker 5 (26:25):
We love our Taylor.
Speaker 8 (26:26):
We love Taylor, No, I love Taylor, I love Taylor.
Speaker 10 (26:29):
I'm not hating on Taylor as a whole, but that
song in particular is.
Speaker 6 (26:33):
A skin Just to give you some idea of some
of the lyrics.
Speaker 3 (26:36):
There's a part that says, Penny's unlucky, I took him
back and then stepped on a crack.
Speaker 4 (26:40):
What are we talking about?
Speaker 10 (26:41):
Taylor? It was like too much rhyming, like kind of
certain to Doctor Seuss for a second, it is a.
Speaker 6 (26:48):
Little doctor Cecie and Taylor Swift.
Speaker 4 (26:50):
We know can do so much better.
Speaker 6 (26:52):
It's not that we're like mad about it, but he's disappointed.
Speaker 8 (26:55):
You know, he has so much better to take that dip.
Speaker 6 (26:59):
You know it's not it's full rough.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
Yeah, we totally get that.
Speaker 9 (27:03):
Chupple in, thanks for calling.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
Thanks the lyrics that just kind of annoy you. Six one, five, seven, three,
seven nine one of seven. Zach was singing a song
the other day and I pointed out that, like Ricky's
complained about the Morgan Wallen song because I want it
all or nothing, and oh they.
Speaker 5 (27:20):
Just rhyme all with all all all rhyme.
Speaker 4 (27:23):
But it's not how that works.
Speaker 5 (27:24):
No, it's just the same word.
Speaker 6 (27:26):
Lazy is what it is.
Speaker 9 (27:27):
Yeah, lazy shot fire heard me? Do you guys remember
the song of Fireflies by Al City?
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 11 (27:34):
Okay, the lyrics center make no sense to me because
I'd get a thousand hugs from ten thousand lightning bugs.
Speaker 5 (27:40):
That would be a frightening amount of lightning breads.
Speaker 11 (27:42):
You imagine, mathing, because that's a grand total of ten
million hugs.
Speaker 5 (27:49):
If each one. Okay, yeah, I.
Speaker 9 (27:51):
See it's a lot insane.
Speaker 5 (27:54):
Do you guys remember lfo, Yes, summer Girls.
Speaker 6 (27:56):
Yes, Okay.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
So I loved that song, but there are so many
any random parts of it that make no sense, like
this part where they say Billy Shakespeare wrote a whole
bunch of sonnets call me Willie Whistle because I can't
speak baby. Something in your eyes and it drove me crazy.
Now I can't forget you, and it makes me mad.
None of that goes together, No.
Speaker 9 (28:17):
Sounds like just a stream of consciousness.
Speaker 11 (28:20):
You're just like so many different random statements, what none
of which rhymes makes.
Speaker 5 (28:25):
Zero since none at all.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
It always drove me crazy when Fergie would say people
in the place, because that is the.
Speaker 5 (28:32):
Most generic lyric I've ever heard in my life.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
Also, now that we're going there's a two Chain song
where two Chain says she got a big booty, so
I call her big booty.
Speaker 7 (28:43):
You better than that?
Speaker 9 (28:43):
Two Chains really original?
Speaker 5 (28:47):
Six, one, five, seven, three, seventh nine. If there are
any lyrics to drive you crazy, we want to know.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
Ricky, Zach and Menno.
Speaker 9 (28:54):
In the Morning on.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
Marylynd Colin from katus, Kentucky, it's one o seven to
five the river for good morning, Marylyn, Good morning. We
were talking about song lyrics. It kind of drives us crazy.
Speaker 10 (29:05):
Do you have any Yes, it's the song by Fergie
and it's because she can't sail. It's that when she
says T A s t e y tasty that drives
me bonkers.
Speaker 5 (29:16):
Oh, because there's not any e in the word tasty.
Speaker 10 (29:18):
Exactly, and they just keep repeating it over and over,
and I'm like, oh my god, I hope my kids
aren't hearing this.
Speaker 5 (29:26):
Oh, I've never even thought about that before.
Speaker 10 (29:28):
Yeah, And I can't think of the name of the
song right now, but all I can think of is
them saying T to the A to the S to
the t e y it's yeah song. Yes, Oh my goodness,
it just drives me bonkers.
Speaker 8 (29:41):
Oh my god.
Speaker 6 (29:41):
I didn't even realize that.
Speaker 3 (29:43):
And I literally had to look up the lyrics because
I felt like my mind was playing tricks.
Speaker 6 (29:46):
I mean, you're right, she does T to the A
to the s e e y girl, you tasty.
Speaker 8 (29:52):
I can't do this is blown.
Speaker 5 (29:54):
Just looked it up.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
Apparently in an interview, she said that they did it
on purpose. It was will i AM's idea. He said,
let's spell it wrong on purpose. It's great it's better.
So apparently it was until I don't know why.
Speaker 6 (30:04):
Well, you opened our eyes to a new lyric that
we just didn't even realize.
Speaker 10 (30:08):
Well, now every time you hear it, you won't be
able to thank.
Speaker 7 (30:13):
You so much.
Speaker 6 (30:14):
Y'all have good Ay you two love Bailey and Nashville.
Speaker 4 (30:17):
Tell us the line that drives you nuts in a song.
Speaker 8 (30:20):
The line is the Ariana Grande song break Free, where
she says I only want to die alive, never by
the hands of a broken heart.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
Oh part, I.
Speaker 9 (30:32):
Really don't understand.
Speaker 5 (30:33):
No, I don't get that whatsoever.
Speaker 3 (30:35):
I just I ever realized that one either, Like these
are really opening my eyes the things that people notice
that I just never noticed. I'm wondering if I'm dumb,
like if I'm so enthralled by the song that I'm just.
Speaker 9 (30:46):
Not hearing it. I usually don't pay attention to the lyrics. Oh, Zach,
That is not surprising.
Speaker 8 (30:50):
At all, But it doesn't make sense.
Speaker 4 (30:54):
Bailey, thank you so much for calling in Now.
Speaker 9 (30:57):
I think we added a new lyric.
Speaker 4 (30:58):
That drives us nuts.
Speaker 9 (30:59):
Yep, every time I hear it now, I'm gonna be
like Bailey, you ruined it for me. If you have
a great day.
Speaker 8 (31:06):
Love, Thanks you too.
Speaker 9 (31:08):
Bye.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
We got a text from our boss Jonathan. He said
the song whistled by flow Rider. There's a line I'm
betting you like people.
Speaker 9 (31:21):
If that was a betting man, I like people?
Speaker 8 (31:24):
What, guys?
Speaker 4 (31:25):
This is giving me way too much confidence. And the
fact that I could write a song, oh.
Speaker 3 (31:29):
Definitely, okay, yeah, because I mean, if we could do
these kinds of lyrics, I can win one hundred percent
write a song.
Speaker 6 (31:35):
I think I'm gonna write one for you, guys and
bring it to you.
Speaker 9 (31:38):
This is gonna work as well as you learning to
play the harmonic.
Speaker 6 (31:40):
Give me a week, Okay, We're gonna have a new bop.
Speaker 9 (31:45):
One week from to day. At this moment, Ricky Sanchez
will perform.
Speaker 7 (31:49):
Live Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning.
Speaker 3 (31:54):
It's Daily Double Tap that we're gonna play for you.
It is so Kevin, It is so and it makes
so much sense that he's the one that found it.
Turn up your radio, listen to today's Daily Double Tap
on one of seven five the River, and just get
even more of an insight into Kevin.
Speaker 5 (32:09):
It's very very short, so I think we're gonna play
it twice. But here we go. Here it is if
you call me and you.
Speaker 1 (32:14):
Never call me, all assume, So Moe who has died?
Speaker 3 (32:19):
Just text?
Speaker 5 (32:20):
Yeah, that's a PSA that I will absolutely sign my
name to.
Speaker 11 (32:23):
Kevin goes down to a full blown panic attack if
his phone starts ringing.
Speaker 5 (32:26):
One more time. My new jingle.
Speaker 7 (32:28):
Here it is if you call me and you never
call me, all assume, So Moe who has died?
Speaker 8 (32:35):
Just text?
Speaker 5 (32:36):
Twenty twenty six. Why are we making phone calls?
Speaker 1 (32:38):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on
