Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Well, good morning, here we go Monday morning, just getting
things started over here.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 4 (00:09):
The nominees for the Critics' Choice Awards are out. Ryan
Coogler Sinners led the films at seventeen nods, and Netflix
series Adolescents top the television categories.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
With six total nods.
Speaker 4 (00:20):
Wicket for Good earned seven nominations, but shocked everyone because
Cynthia Rivo was left out of the Best Actress category.
Ariana Grande did get a Supporting Actress nomination, though. K
Pop Demon Hunters was nominated under the Animated Feature along
with Zutopia two, which has broken records in the box office.
Both broke records in their respective areas, so Zutopia two
(00:43):
came out in theaters. K Pop Demon Hunters was top
of the list on Netflix for what feels like the
entire year at this point, so that's gonna be an
interesting category. Some of keV and I our favorites are nominated,
like Severance, The pit Ervish, Nobody Wants This, The Studio,
and Abbott Elementary are all on the list. The thirty
first Critics' Choice Awards will air January fourth of next
(01:05):
year on e. We're getting a new entertainment venue on
the in the third Avenue space that was last home
to Layer Cake.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
I've been wondering what was going to happen with this space.
Layer Cake was such.
Speaker 4 (01:17):
A cool idea. I really sad that it didn't work out.
But the four story building is expected to open in
June and feature a yet to be announced celebrity partner.
So we'll see who they end up tacking on to
that and what it's going to be named.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
Real big bummer that Layer Cake.
Speaker 4 (01:31):
Went out of business, but it seems to be happening
a lot around Nashville. So this is your reminder to
go out and support the businesses here, especially if you
know any businesses that are local to Nashville, because it's
really hard for small businesses right now here in Nashville.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
And this is the.
Speaker 4 (01:46):
Time on Christmas Day where stress peaks. According to a
new survey, Christmas Day stress reaches its max fairly early
in the day, so around twelve twenty seven pm is
when you are the most stressed. I found that the
most of the people are really stressed because they don't
have any rest or relaxation on Christmas Day and they're
(02:08):
realizing that, oh my god, this is what the rest
of the day looks like.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
The rest of the day, not only the rest of
the day, but like the next week and a half. Yes,
Like it's just a void between school, yeah, between Christmas
and when you go back to school and work.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
It's just like, what are we doing to fill this time?
Speaker 4 (02:23):
Twenty one percent of people in this survey said that
they only get a half hour of genuine peace and.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
Quiet all day.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
Rough.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
So if there's anyone out there who's going to visit
their parents or family, just keep that in mind.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
You're all stressed, it's not just one of you.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
Maybe that'll help the ease I guess the pain of
the holidays a little bit more, Amrique Sanchez, And those
are the three things you need to know.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
Well, thank you so much, Ricky.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
We're getting back into the music with Shaboozie. We were
playing Pick your Package again this week. We are about
ten minutes away from asking it a call to play
the game.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
Lots of good stuff under the tree. I'll get it.
Speaker 5 (03:00):
We're a package on.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Oh ho ho, here we go. We're playing the game
Pick your Package. Week two of Pick Your Package. You're
say good morning, to Christina in Gallatin.
Speaker 6 (03:10):
Hi, Christina, Hi, how are you guys doing today?
Speaker 1 (03:12):
We're good, We're good. It's Monday, so you know, as
good as you could be on a Monday.
Speaker 5 (03:16):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
I know.
Speaker 7 (03:17):
I'm on my way to work right now.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
What do you do for work, Christina, I'm.
Speaker 7 (03:20):
The general manager of Kiki's Breakfast Cafe.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
Ooh, do you guys have good burritos? Sorry? I got
really excited about burritos.
Speaker 7 (03:28):
We do have breakfast burritos.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Is this in Gallatin?
Speaker 7 (03:32):
Yeah, it's in Gallatin.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Okay, everybody go say hi to Christina in Gallaton this morning.
Get a breakfast burrito.
Speaker 4 (03:38):
Christina, do you know how this game works? Have you
played Pick your Package? Or at least listen to Pick
your Package before?
Speaker 7 (03:42):
I listened every year, and I've always tried to call
in to win.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
Oh my gosh, how exciting.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
All right, so you know that you have a number
one through thirty two that you got to pick. You
know that a bunch of them are already gone. So
if you pick a number that's already been taken, you're
kind of out of luck. But if you pick one
that hasn't, then we'll see how this goes.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
How's that sound.
Speaker 7 (04:00):
That's great.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
All right, go ahead and give us a number.
Speaker 7 (04:04):
I'm gonna go with twenty nine.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
Twenty nine is still in play. Okay, we're grabbing it
under the tree.
Speaker 4 (04:11):
Twenty nine is the hairy belly apron.
Speaker 7 (04:19):
I think I'm gonna put it back.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
You're gonna put it back, Okay. Zach's gonna be very
upset when I tell him that he really wants that
hairy belly paper.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
It's actually maybe we'll be excited.
Speaker 8 (04:28):
So we're gonna put that back.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
That's number twenty nine for anybody playing along, you have
a number, another number to pick. Go ahead, Christina, I'm
gonna go with.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
Two two.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Oh a switch light.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
Oh perfect, that's a great one, nice.
Speaker 4 (04:47):
John, beautiful, So much better than the Harry belly apron.
Speaker 9 (04:51):
Yeah, sorry, Zach, I would.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
Like to see your daughter's reaction to opening up a
hairy belly apron on Christmas morning though.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
That'd be fun.
Speaker 7 (04:58):
If I got that, I would I should probably give
it to one of my cook Oh yeah, and make
them wear it.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
That's a good call. Well, congratulations, the switch light is
a good one. You're you're leaving with a good one here.
Thank you for calling and playing and you have a
great day, Christina.
Speaker 7 (05:11):
Thank you you guys too, all.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
Right, handle I love Okay.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Nine to twenty this morning is your next chance to play.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
And like Ricky said, for anybody keeping track, number twenty
nine is the Harry Belly.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
Apron and maybe you really want that, So maybe that's
going to be your first pick.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
That's totally fine, only a little bit of judgment.
Speaker 9 (05:27):
Color.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Wake up happy with Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
On the river.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
Ricky, are you ready to play another round of is Kevin,
Mano and Old Man?
Speaker 1 (05:40):
I'm always ready.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
All right, it's time to play the game, Ricky's favorite game.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
I made a purchase yesterday. And I feel like you're
gonna make fun of me, But you're.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Sort of the arbiter of how old I am at
any time that I can make fun of you, specifically.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
For being old, that's the greatest gift you could ever
give me.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
I brought something with me to work today. I will
show you what it is, the thing that I bought.
I you have it, I have it, I have it.
Speaker 3 (06:04):
I brought it.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
I'll show you an next and you can tell me,
on a scale of one to ten, how old I am. Oh,
I already feel like I know what it's gonna be Ricky,
Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
I'm so excited to play this game on one O
seven five of the River. And it's a game mostly
just for me to play, but it's is Kevin mano old.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
Yeah, Ricky likes to call me an old man.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
And I made a purchase yesterday and while I was
grabbing it off at the shelf at the store, I
was like, God, I'm so happy Ricky's not.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
Here to see this.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
But now you're telling me.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
I know, I know, I'm on a transparency is key.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
You know, I think you're just a glutton for punishment.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
If you can't laugh at yourself. Here we go. I'm
gonna grab right here. I brought it to work, Ricky,
So have you brought it with s gale one to ten?
You tell me how old man this is?
Speaker 9 (06:48):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (06:48):
Okay? And you felt old buying this very.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
Yes, Doctor Schulz prevent pain protective insults for my shoes, okay, okay.
Speaker 4 (06:57):
So normally I would say, because I love to call
you old, I'd say that's a ten.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
But it's not because I buy those two do yes?
Speaker 5 (07:06):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (07:07):
So it's really good.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
Oh my lord, it's really just like a six.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
Okay, good. I feel so much better about that.
Speaker 4 (07:12):
I've never bought these before, like really flat feet and
like terrible support.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
So I buy so.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
Many different types of inserts, especially for my heels, and
I have to wear heels almost all the time as
I'm four.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
To eleven, so I'm constantly buying them.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
These are more expensive than I thought they'd be, too,
They're kind of pricey.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
They're very pricey. I got the having the flat feet.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
I got it from my running shoes, because when I
run sometimes I can I feel forty two in my knees,
and so I figured this would be a maybe a
good place to start, you know.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
Yeah, those will make you feel like, you know, thirty
seven in your ow perfect, which is worth it?
Speaker 1 (07:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (07:45):
Great?
Speaker 3 (07:45):
You know what I realized yesterday though.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Another thing that I do that I never feel as
old as I do when I pull my phone out
of my back pocket and the flashlight is on, especially
if somebody is there to tell me, hey, your flashlight
is on.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
That's old. Oh that's a tag. I know.
Speaker 4 (07:59):
The doctor's so inserts for your shoes six seven, But
the other one tenvy.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
Yeah, you see what I did there?
Speaker 2 (08:06):
I liked it well good. I feel so much better
about myself. Thank you, Ricky.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
This has been a fun round of is Kevin manold you.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
Weren't expecting that word.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
No, I was not.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Three things you need to know all right, a bit
past seven o'clock here on this Monday morning.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
Thank you for starting the week with us. Ricky's got
those three things.
Speaker 4 (08:21):
Ariana Grande is just as confused as anyone else about
the use of use of six seven. So during her
Actors on Actors interview with Adam Sandler, he mentions doing
six or seven emotional shots like emotional takes back to
back to which she like reacted with shock and then concern,
and everyone on the internet took it as her reaction
(08:42):
to six seven, like her thinking like.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
Ha ha, you said six to seven.
Speaker 4 (08:45):
But she commented on the video and said I'm scared
what is six seven and then later followed it up
with I don't want to know. Actually, don't tell me
what it is. Love you all enjoy. She was like, JK,
leave me out of this. I have no idea what
you guys are talking about. But turns out Ariana Grande
just as confused as everyone else. They really are just
like us.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
These are the.
Speaker 4 (09:07):
Things people in Nashville googled the most this year. Last
week I shared with you some of the things that
we were all obsessed with this year based on Google's
year and search for twenty twenty five. But now I
have more specific things here in the Nashville area that
we were obsessed with. Taylor Swift's Wood was the number
one trending song for searches in Nashville this year.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
Nashvillians were most.
Speaker 4 (09:27):
Interested in securing tickets to NBA Young Boys Make America
Slime Again Tour, which makes sense because he performed a
sold out crowd at Bridgetown Arena on October sixteenth, And
much like Ariana Grande and the rest of America, we
also all wanted to know what.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
The heck six seven meant because that.
Speaker 4 (09:44):
Was the most searched for slang words and the top
three most common gifts that kids want for the holidays
this year.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
I have a list.
Speaker 4 (09:52):
Toys and games are at fifty four percent, so that's
the biggest most wanted things that kids want. So that
includes Barbie's fidget, to Legos or slime electronics. In tech
came at forty seven percent, so you know they really
want it. iPhone seventeen, Aim and high there, Nintendo Switch
and Apple Watch. Even our rings, which I was shocked. Kids, Yeah, shocked,
(10:15):
kids want or rings. And I wonder if it's like
because they're actually curious about their health or if they
just think it's.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
A cool thing that mom has.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
But kids are into or rings for some reason. And
then to round out the top three was entertainment at
thirty two percent.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Which makes me really happy.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
So tickets to concerts, sporting events, music festivals, things like that.
Speaker 1 (10:32):
Kids want to.
Speaker 4 (10:33):
Go and actually experience things. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those
are the three things.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
You need to know.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
Thank you, Ricky.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
To tie it all together real quick, one thing on
my son's Christmas list is a six to seven plushy
ah six seven.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
There you go.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
Okay, thanks Ricky. Here's that looks more and we have
a fact for him.
Speaker 5 (10:48):
One O seven five The River, Ricky, Zach and Mennow
in the morning.
Speaker 4 (10:53):
Zach's out today, but we're still doing Zach's fax on
one O seven five of the River.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
Take it away, Kevin Mano.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
I'm doing this one, Ricky. I thought you of all
people would think it's cute. A group of pugs is
called a grumble.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
Stop it right now? Is that real?
Speaker 3 (11:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (11:07):
In Holland, a pug is called a mop shand, which
means too grumble. And I think the grumble is a
great word for the noise the pugs are constantly making.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
Really is because they can't breathe very well, those.
Speaker 4 (11:18):
Poor little guys.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
Yeah, this got sad, But pugs are always grumbling, so
a group of them is called a grumble.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
And the pugs for Christmas, No, that's the no. You
should not have none.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
I want that for Christmas. It's on my legs.
Speaker 5 (11:30):
One oh seven five the River, Ricky, Zach and Mennow
in the morning.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
I'm looking for some gift giving advice right now on
one oh seven five of the River.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
It's really hard for me to buy gifts for my
mom because my mom is that typical mom who does
the I don't need anything, don't buy any do waste
your money, and then it's so hard to.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
Find something for her.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
This year, I figured I have been listening to her
NonStop talk about how she wants to start working out again,
she wants to get back into that routine she hates
that she doesn't like do anything or get any movement in.
So I was like, oh, great idea, I'll buy her
a walking pad, which are those like electronic things that
you put underneath.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
You can fit them underneath your desk, okay, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
Or like take them with you wherever you need to go.
Speaker 4 (12:14):
And I was like, that would be a really good
one for hecause while she's at work, she can also.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
Walk a little bit of mobility there, you, yes.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
Instead of sitting around like she keeps complaining about.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
And then I said that to someone and they gave
me this look of horror.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
I get that, like you don't. That's a tough thing
to give. Is something fitness related? Because you're kind of
saying like, hey, you're out of shape?
Speaker 1 (12:34):
So is it rude if I buy my mom a
walking pad?
Speaker 4 (12:36):
I thought it was totally fine until this person looked
at me like I was insane.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
Yeah. I have my thoughts, I really do, But let's
open it up. Six one five, seven, three seven nine
one oh seven. A walking pad or any sort of
fitness related gift, is it a good idea or a
bad idea? Six one five, seven, three seven nine one
o seven Let us know help rick one oh seven
five the River.
Speaker 5 (12:56):
Ricky, Zach and Mannow in the more, Ricky needs some help.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
It's one of seven five of the River. She wants
to buy her mom a walking pad for Christmas because
her mom talks about how.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
She's She keeps bringing it up to me.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
She needs more exercise and stuff, so's be a good idea.
But giving somebody something fitness related is kind of a
tricky thing to do. So Annalsee and Springfield, what are
your thoughts here?
Speaker 6 (13:17):
I actually love it. So I started graduate school and
for my birthday I actually asked for a walking pad
and my best friend's bought me one, and it is
my most used item now. So I highly recommend it,
especially if the family members already brought up potentially wanting one,
then I say go for it.
Speaker 4 (13:38):
Okay, See, my mom, I don't think knows that these exist,
but she keeps.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
Bringing out the fact that she wants to get active again.
Speaker 4 (13:44):
She hates that she's not moving around and she works
a lot, so I figured this is kind of like
best at both worlds.
Speaker 1 (13:50):
While she's at her desk, she can walk on the
walking pad.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
But when I said this to my one friend the
other day she looked at me like I was the
worst person ever.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
She was like, I don't know if that's a good idea.
Speaker 6 (14:00):
No, I think it's perfect. And you can also bring
up the fact that, like I like to put mine
in front of the TV and do it while watching
my favorite TV, so outside of also do it and
while studying. So I think there's multiple purposes. And I
feel like if you have a good relationship with your mom,
she won't take it that way, and you can just
kind of open it up and be like, you can
use this a variety of ways.
Speaker 7 (14:19):
So I think it's great.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
Yeah, And in case anybody's not familiar, walking pad is
kind of like a little tiny treadmill, like a treadmill
the size of a yoga mat that just sits on
the ground.
Speaker 4 (14:28):
Yes, exactly right. It's pretty convenient and antalyast. I like
the way that you're phrasing this. I feel like I'm
back on board with buying the walking pad as of
right now.
Speaker 9 (14:36):
Highly recommend to analysts.
Speaker 3 (14:37):
Have a great day. We appreciate your input.
Speaker 8 (14:39):
Thank you too, My love Sandra.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
Tell us what you think about this? Is it a
good idea that I buy? My mom?
Speaker 4 (14:45):
A walking pad like a treadmill for under her desk
or is this a rude item to buy for Christmas?
Speaker 9 (14:50):
No, I think it's a great idea, especially since she
told you she was looking for, you know, to work
out and stuff. And by the way, while somebody else
telling you that it's a bad idea, they had a
bad experience. Let me tell you something. That's the same
thing as if you tell somebody, oh, I have hard
blood pressure on high cholesterol and they go, oh, yeah,
I had an aunt that had that and she died.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
You're not wrong about that.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
It doesn't really help to kind of add on to
something in a negative way.
Speaker 9 (15:17):
Well, you know, because if you can't contribute it in
a positive way. I mean, if you don't think it's
a good idea to buy that, then just say, oh
I don't want to go for it.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
Yeah, hey, I like you. I like that. So far
everybody's on board and thinks it's a good gift.
Speaker 9 (15:30):
Just just do it. She'll appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
Good call. It was always lovely to talk.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
We love you bye see.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
I think it's okay for your mom. I think it'd
be a little harder for like a friend or something.
But since it's your mom and you guys, you know,
tell each other anything that is.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
A good gift.
Speaker 4 (15:47):
Yeah, my mom and I are pretty close, so I
felt like it wouldn't be that bad. But that friend
really made me second guess with a process friend. And
I don't blame her, but she could have seen the face.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
She gave me.
Speaker 5 (16:00):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
Robin and Shelbyville. Welcome to one oh seven five the River.
Speaker 4 (16:08):
Do you think it's rude if I buy my mom
a walking pad for Christmas?
Speaker 8 (16:12):
I'm probably close to the same age as your mom,
and no, I do not. I think if it's put
to not getting fit but rather getting healthy, yes, anybody,
any science can be healthy.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
Yeah, okay, I like.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
The freak and that's her thing.
Speaker 4 (16:27):
She wants to feel healthy again because she hasn't been
getting active, and she, I think, is thinking about it
more and more now that she has a grandson, of like,
she can't keep up with him. He's gonna be five
in February and he runs around like crazy, and she's like,
I just can't keep up with him. I need to
like start actually being active again.
Speaker 8 (16:45):
I think it's a great idea.
Speaker 3 (16:46):
I agree.
Speaker 5 (16:47):
Good.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
I love this. Thank you so much, Robin.
Speaker 4 (16:50):
Everybody seems to agree that it's a good idea, so
I think I'm gonna buy it.
Speaker 8 (16:53):
I have a wonderful day, you too, Love.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
I think you might be like encouraging a lot of
people to buy walking pads. I didn't really know what
a walking pad was, but now I want to get one.
We have a treadmill, but I want one for like
the living room so I can do it while in
the house watching TV.
Speaker 4 (17:06):
Yeah, I've thought about buying one literally for this studio,
so that I could use it while I'm doing my work,
because it's just super convenient and it is a really
great way to kind of fit in the time to
be active.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
Now, I want tips on like the best quiet walking pads,
because if we could all have them in the studio
and just, you know, walk while we're doing our show, I.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
Would love that.
Speaker 4 (17:26):
Okay, everybody, send you your request, send your ideas.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
If you have a walking pad one you love, send
it to.
Speaker 4 (17:32):
One O seven five the River's Instagram page so we
could check them out. We're all getting walking pads this Christmas.

I do enjoy a Crystals movie.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
What's your favorite? What's your favorite?
Speaker 7 (18:20):
So many good ones, so many good ones.
Speaker 4 (18:22):
Home Alone.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
I love Homelo.
Speaker 7 (18:26):
We're a big Home Alone family.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
We just had a long conversation last week about Home Alone.
Zach thinks it's old and outdated, and I think it's
as strong now as it ever was.
Speaker 6 (18:34):
There's definitely no way you can get into Paris that
quickly on a.
Speaker 4 (18:38):
Flight, but there's a few loopholes there, right, a few
pot holes.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
Yeah, well no, here's how the game works. We're gonna
we're gonna make it three out of five today. We
normally go two out of three. But I'm gonna give
you actors. Okay, you have to tell me in which
movie these actors appear to Santa Claus. Okay, okay, you
can get three out of five when we're going to
see Megan Trainer.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
Here we go. The game starts right now. Kurt Russell.
Speaker 6 (19:08):
Christmas Chronicles.
Speaker 4 (19:09):
All right, we gotta okay, we got a point.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
Billy Bob Thornton. Nice, Oh, you get this, you win. JK. Simmons,
Oh my goodness. He was like a rip Sander.
Speaker 6 (19:27):
Oh yeah, he was like really, boss, It was a
little uncomfortable.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
The rock red one red one is correct? Wow, congratulations,
I did not know that last one.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
You nailed that. Yay. Yeah, three for three.
Speaker 2 (19:42):
Nice?
Speaker 3 (19:42):
You ever going to see Megan Trainer?
Speaker 2 (19:44):
Awesome?
Speaker 7 (19:45):
So excited, Thank you, of course.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
Congrats. Kristen.
Speaker 4 (19:48):
I'm truly blown away. That was a lot faster than
I was expecting. I think Kevin's upset because he has
more so he wants to ask more questions.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
So long.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
All right, well, I would be happy to try.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Okay, let me throw this one into this is tough.
Paul Giamatti. He was in the movie with Vince Vaughan.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
I watched this last night.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
You did, yes, and you got to google it?
Speaker 4 (20:15):
Do you want me to see yeah, because I forgot
who Paul Giamatti is what I watched this last night?
Speaker 1 (20:19):
Do you want me to say it? Kristien fred Claus.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
She's not even familiar with Fred Klaus.
Speaker 6 (20:26):
Oh yeah, yeah, I remember now that one.
Speaker 1 (20:31):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (20:31):
He also doesn't really look like Paul Giamatti for a
huge party, right right, right.
Speaker 2 (20:36):
Well, thank you for calling and playing the game. Congrats
on the Megan Trainer ticket.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
You have a great day.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
You three things you need to know just after eight o'clock.
Thank you so much for starting this brand new week
with us. We genuinely really do appreciate it. Ricky's got
those three things.
Speaker 4 (20:51):
Influencer Alex Earl and NFL player Braxton Barrios have broken up.
The two were together for a little over two years
and apparently tried to power through, but long distance was
a big factor in the separation. Completely understandable. Long distance
is pretty hard. I've done it before. Alex seems to
be okay now as she has been seen at Art Basil,
the festival that they have in Miami. She was there
(21:12):
over the weekend with friends and she was having a
great time. It looks like did you have yet to
say anything about their relationship online or by themselves. This
is all kind of still rumors as of right now.
Yelp's Best New Restaurants support has been out and.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
Nashville has a spot on the list.
Speaker 4 (21:31):
I love seeing all the great places that we have
here in Nashville make these lists. So number twenty two
on the list is Fonda on twelfth, which is the
only place in Nashville that made the list. Fonda is
a Mexican restaurants located at twelve twelfth Avenue South, and
it raked in a bunch of positive reviews on Yelp
with things like their housemade chips, shareable taco board like
(21:53):
come on, I want to go check that out, and
they have a lot of creative drink options. Those are
the three things that they really focused on in Yelp reviews.
Go check out Fonda when you get a chance. Like
I said, it was number twenty two on the list.
Congrats to them as the only place in national to
make it. Fonda and Babel released the most Mispronounced Words
of twenty twenty five, so the language learning company Babel,
they came with a closed captioning company to come together
(22:17):
the captioning group to name the three top.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
Most mispronounced words.
Speaker 4 (22:22):
Zoran mom donnie was number one, which was very mispronounced
throughout the year of twenty twenty five. Tailan all pain
reliever Aceta menifin that was second on the list, and
the loof the Paris museum that had the jewel heist
back in October third.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
I was gonna say, like, what made the loof so relevant?
But I guess the jewel hes.
Speaker 4 (22:44):
Because the jewel heyst was such a big deal and
everybody was talking about it. So those are the top
three most mispronounced words of twenty twenty five.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 5 (22:53):
Ricky is Zach and in the morning on.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Five is winding down. We are getting close to the
end of the year.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
We want to know what you've accomplished or done this
year that you're really proud of.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
Big or small.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
It doesn't have to be anything monumental, whatever you were
proud of, we want to hear about. It's six one five, seven,
three seven nine, one oh seven. We will celebrate our
community here, we'll celebrate each other.
Speaker 4 (23:18):
Everybody deserves some kudos, some claps for the things that
they've accomplished.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
So let's talk about it.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
What did you do in twenty twenty five? What are
you proud of? Let us know. Here's Miguel, It's the river.
Speaker 5 (23:27):
The River, Ricky, Zach and Minnow in the morning.
Speaker 4 (23:31):
Juliet, welcome to one oh seven five the River. The
year twenty twenty five. It's dwindling down and we're almost
done with it. What's something that you accomplished or did
this year that you're really proud of.
Speaker 7 (23:41):
I quit drinking.
Speaker 1 (23:43):
Oh my gosh, good for you, Emma.
Speaker 3 (23:46):
Good job, thank you.
Speaker 7 (23:47):
We you know, we live in a world that it's
so socially, you know, it's acceptable. It's like kind of
part of a lot of people's lives, right, yeah, faked in. Yeah,
And I took a look at my kids, and I
have five kids and two kids of my own, and
I'm like, you know what, I want to live, like
the healthiest life I possibly can so I replaced alcohol
(24:09):
with cookies, so I haven't lost any weight because of it,
but you know, it's definitely, Yeah, it's definitely one of
my biggest quick for the year. And if you're proud
of myself.
Speaker 4 (24:23):
I'll say, if the cookies work for now, go with
the cookies, and then later on switch the cookies out
for something even more healthy.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
We'll make slow progress, right.
Speaker 7 (24:32):
Right, you know, maybe like well, I don't know if
that's ever going to.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
Happen, but hey, you know, you know it works to
be able.
Speaker 7 (24:40):
To show up every day and to know that, you know,
because of that change, you know, you're you're living longer
just by doing that. Definitely something I'm proud of.
Speaker 3 (24:48):
And yeah, thank you for sharing this with us.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
I mean, Ricky and I were just talking about how
we're both gonna do dry January this year, and like
we look, we're genuinely looking forward to it. So that, uh,
hearing from you helps both of us in a lot
of people, I'm sure.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
And we're both really proud of you too. Emma.
Speaker 4 (25:02):
You're proud of yourself, which is amazing, but we're really
proud of you too because we know that that's not
necessarily the easiest thing to do.
Speaker 7 (25:08):
Oh, I mean it was, it's not, but then again,
it definitely is. You know, it's all if you know,
it's all about your you know, frame of mind. Yeah,
I believe you can achieve it kind of thing, you know.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
For you, You're our hero. Thank you for calling.
Speaker 7 (25:24):
Thank you so much. I hope you guys have one
of you too.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
Love by Ricky. Do you have anything to share anything
that you're proud of from the year.
Speaker 4 (25:31):
Yeah, I'm proud because this is the first year that
I have been consistent with working out and my fitness journey,
and I have been doing my routine pretty much every
week this year, and I'm really proud of myself for
that because it's kind of easy to throw it off
to the side and be like, oh, I don't have
time this this week, or I'm too tired this week
to do it. But I've really pushed myself to stay consistent.
(25:52):
And this is the most consistent I have ever been
with working out weekly.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
And I'm right down the sidelines and you have stuck
with it for sure.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
Yeah, I'm very proud of myself. From Ricky, Zach and
Menno in the morning.
Speaker 4 (26:04):
On this moment that we are about to play you
for the Daily Double Tap on one O seven five.
The river is so heartwarming and sweet. And I don't
think the woman knew exactly what she was doing when
she did this.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
Oh really, I don't know that.
Speaker 4 (26:19):
She knew that everybody was gonna, you know, gravitate it
to it this way. But it's a woman who works
at Home Goods and she does the closing announcements and
she does them in a very special way.
Speaker 1 (26:28):
She sings yeah for the closing announcement.
Speaker 3 (26:31):
And she's so smiley, she's so cute.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
She just like it's a menial task that most people
at work would just like get through it and like
you try to get out of there, but.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
She's just so happy.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
It's just to me, it's all about enjoying life and
enjoying every moment.
Speaker 3 (26:43):
Here we go today's daily double Tap.
Speaker 4 (26:44):
It's time for closing announcements.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
Jingle bells, Jingle bells, jingle. It's ten o'clock and our
store is closed, so we.
Speaker 7 (26:58):
Gotta sing you hung you you heard it. It's ten
o'clock Home good customers, so you've got to get out
of here, But no fear, we.
Speaker 4 (27:07):
Do open up tomorrow at seven am for all of
your shopping needs.
Speaker 9 (27:11):
Come to the front, and we'll be more than.
Speaker 1 (27:14):
Thank you for shopping at Home Goods.
Speaker 8 (27:17):
Jingle bell, jingle bell.
Speaker 3 (27:21):
And now she's gone viral because of that, and she
sounds great.
Speaker 4 (27:25):
Yeah, she sounds great. Like you said, it's really the
fact that she's so happy. And like I said, I
don't think that she realized that people were going to
gravitate to it in this.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Way that it would make her viral. But she's all
over the place sound.
Speaker 4 (27:37):
She apparently does this all the time where she sings
the closing announcements.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
I love it. I love her. We're gonna post that.
You have to see her.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
You have to see how smiley she is at one
of seven five the River goes up on our Instagram stories.
Speaker 3 (27:47):
I will say, I just want to add Home good
stresses me out.
Speaker 4 (27:49):
It's so that would probably help them at the end. Yes, yeah,
to hear that nice little jingle, and yes, I.
Speaker 3 (27:56):
Would definitely take that time.
Speaker 5 (28:00):
Or a package on.
Speaker 4 (28:03):
We still got some Christmas gifts under the tree for
pick your package, don't want to seventy five of the river.
A lot of good ones are still under here, so
many good ones taken, but plenty still left.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
MGK tickets, Meghan Trainer tickets.
Speaker 4 (28:15):
Zach's caine a heated electric blanket, which I think people
are sleeping on the heated electric blanket.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
Personally, I think people are sleeping on the cane. Like,
can can we get Zack to sign the cane?
Speaker 4 (28:25):
He'll sign it, He'll do anything that he needs to
for you to take the cane because two people have
already put it back at this point, Rick and Louisbourg, are.
Speaker 1 (28:33):
You ready to play?
Speaker 5 (28:33):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (28:34):
Yes I am.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
You know you got to pick a number one through
thirty two, So what's your number?
Speaker 3 (28:38):
Eighteen eighteen? And it's still there? Okay, Ricky's gonna grab it.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
And oh that's nice a Fitbit.
Speaker 4 (28:47):
Oh okay, okay, you don't seem really excited about that.
Speaker 2 (28:50):
Rick, Well, I have a watch, but I guess I'll
take it anyway.
Speaker 8 (28:55):
I don't want to get another prize.
Speaker 3 (28:56):
You get the Harry Belly apron.
Speaker 9 (29:00):
I want you.
Speaker 2 (29:01):
Well, congratulations, you're the crowd owner of a brand new fitbit.
Speaker 8 (29:04):
Okay, thanks a lot.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
Yeah, congrats, congrats. All right, we're gonna put you on
a whole for a second so we can get your
info okay, okay, all right.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
Number eighteen gone. The fitbit is no longer under the tree.
Speaker 4 (29:15):
It's so interesting to see the strategy that people go
with because some people want to play it safe, like
Rick and he's like, nope, I'm just gonna keep it,
and other people like to gamble a little bit.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
Press your caution to the wind, for sure.
Speaker 1 (29:27):
It's a little more interesting that way.
Speaker 2 (29:28):
Right one and four twenty of the next chances you
have to play the game today. And like we said,
there's tickets under there. Uh, there's a bacon air freshener
under there. You never know what you're gonna get.
Speaker 1 (29:38):
Go to one O seven five the River dot com.
Speaker 4 (29:40):

the Christmas tree.
Speaker 5 (29:43):

River
