Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things right, Okay, good morning, Welcome to Thursday. Thank
you for starting yours with us. Ricky Sanchez has those
three things.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
We Go Public Transit has resumed regular weekday operations as
of yesterday. This is the first time since the winter
storm hit that regular service has been available. We Go
Star Star Shuttle, we Go Access and Access on Demand
also returned to normal operation as of yesterday, which is
good news because we can take all the good news

(00:29):
we can get right now with the amount of people
who are still without power and the fact that the
roads still I see in some areas. Anyway, Teddy Swims
will perform at the Super Bowl tailgate concert. The show
will happen outside Levi Stadium in Santa Clara and will
also air on one hundred and twenty iHeart stations and
the iHeartRadio app so you can actually hear it on iHeart.

(00:51):
And the concert is huge because obviously they just keep
adding more and more people to the Super Bowl lineup.
As of right now, it includes Green Day at the opening,
Stones Cremony, Bad Bunny at halftime, and there's going to
be a bunch of pregame performances from Charlie Pooth, Brandy
Carlisle and Coco Jones, which is really awesome. Bay Area
rapper Larrussell is also going to open the show and

(01:12):
serve as the Inn Stadium house band as well, which
is really cool. The Super Bowl is happening between the
Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots on Sunday, February eighth.
I personally am rooting for the Seahawks the Patriots. The Patriots,
I despise, despise. I'm a Jets fan, but Kevin I
hate the Patriots. And Sweethearts conversation hearts, those little hearts

(01:37):
that have little words on them that you know, have
been around forever since before I was born. They have
new phrases for twenty twenty six, and they're going to
frugal route this time. They constantly update them to keep them,
you know, hit with what's going on, and now it's
all about frugal phrases. So a lot of people are
obviously struggling with the economy right now and dating has

(01:59):
become harder and harder. So the brand added phrases like split, rent, carpool,
and buy in bulk on their little hearts this year,
so you can find those this year in stores for
Valentine's Day. If you're on a tight budget and you're
dating somebody, you can give them to them. Okayricky Sanchez,
and those are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Not even a little bit romantic. Buy in bulk, because
that's not a romantic.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
I think that's very romantic.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
You think it is.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Oh my gosh. If AJ came home and said, I
bought your favorite snack in bulk, ooh, that is a
romance at its finest.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
All right, Okay, you convinced me. I get it. I
have a Valentine's Day.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
Ricky, Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Lauren Spencer Smith is at the Ryeman February fourth, which
is next week. I can't believe it's about to be February.
Thank god. This has been seventy five years of January.
Lauren Spencer Smith. Though, we got tickets for you to
go see her. If you are the first color of
the day on one of seven five the River six.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
One five, seven, three seven nine one oh seven, you
get these tickets and a little small talk with Ricky,
Zach and Mano in the morning. We'll see how your
week has been, how you've been making it through the
weather storms.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Talking to your next first.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Collars, Ricky, is Zach and Mano in the morning on
Jason and Murphy's Borough. Welcome to one O seven five
the River. How are you doing you and your family
with the cold weather that's happening right now.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
We didn't lose power, it's been a little cold with it, Lois.
That's got in our house was about sixty five Okay,
now we're back now.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Well that's good man, lucky one of the lucky ones.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Yeah, it's been rough out there.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
I just I can't believe that there are still so
many people without power right now.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
First this year, thanks thanks.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
And uh you said that you you're right now being
very quiet because you're in your house and everybody's asleep
and you're trying to make sure that everything is good
in the cars with the h you said, the based
like for your babies the car seats.

Speaker 6 (03:58):
Yeah, how many kids?

Speaker 5 (04:00):
Mm hmm, Well that it's just too I have I
do have five total.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Oh, but in that in the house and you're currently.

Speaker 5 (04:08):
Too yeah, just too at the moment, he sion.

Speaker 7 (04:10):
You've been a busy man, my friend, my goodness, hey man.

Speaker 6 (04:18):
Right now, sorry, were.

Speaker 5 (04:20):
I feel like we're treating the lotter, you know a lot.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
I know Jason's like whispering, so it makes me you
want to like whisper, not be very loud as if
like my voice would wake anybody up.

Speaker 5 (04:33):
I am out of the house. Now I'm getting my car.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
There we go a little louder.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Hey, you're the first callar today, so we're gonna give
a ticket to see Lauren Spencer Smith at the Ryman.

Speaker 5 (04:43):
Awesome, that's fantastic man.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Congratulations, the show is next week. It's gonna be a
lot of fun. Take take some time away from the kids,
you know, make sure you get a babysitter.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
Yes, for sure, we've been much time needed. She knew
us from seven seven months old.

Speaker 7 (04:59):
So oh man, okay, just give the tickets to your
wife and let her have like a girl's night out.

Speaker 6 (05:04):
She needs away from you.

Speaker 7 (05:05):
Two.

Speaker 5 (05:05):
Oh my gosh, don't no, no, no, I'll work two jobs.
I don't.

Speaker 6 (05:10):
Hey, that's fair.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
That was actually really sweet that you want to spend
time with her. You sound like a good man, Jason,
Thank you. Anything on the line. Okay, we got to
get your info. Sack what Kevin so he wants everyone
to break up.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Wore of Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning, and
you're coming at him.

Speaker 6 (05:27):
I wasn't coming at him.

Speaker 7 (05:28):
I'm just saying she had a baby seven months ago
and has to be mom full time.

Speaker 6 (05:32):
She needs a break.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
She does need a break, as does Jason.

Speaker 6 (05:36):
Yeah, she needs one from him.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
The dad needs some love. Sometimes sometimes is the key
word there.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Praise us more tickets for Laurence Spender Smith same time tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
Ricky is, Zach and Mano in the morning on the river.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
It's been a rough one in Middle Tennessee.

Speaker 7 (05:54):
Guys.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
It's one oh seven five the river. There are still
so many people without power right now, over one hundred
thousand customers across Middle Tennessee who still don't have power.
It's freezing cold. Zach is one of them. Zach hasn't
had power since what Sunday.

Speaker 7 (06:09):
Sunday morning at five forty seven am, to be precise,
It's been over five days now no power.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
You've been lucky enough to stay with a friend.

Speaker 7 (06:18):
I will say, I'm very, very grateful that we have
a friend here at work that is letting me stay
at her apartment. She has a guest bedroom, so it's
me and my boyfriend, my two dogs. We basically moved
into her apartment and I'm like, thank you, Yeah, two
golden retrievers said they're like seventy pound dogs. They're not
small things. Very thankful that she's like giving us a nice,
warm place to stay in, like a kitchen that we
can use to cook in, so we're safe and warm.

Speaker 6 (06:40):
We're good. But today the we are going to a
hotel tonight.

Speaker 7 (06:45):
I just feel like, at some point, you run your
course of staying at somebody's house for way too long
on my true five days, I feel like, you probably
want your space back. She's not said anything about it,
but I'm like, you probably want your space back. It's
got to be overwhelming to have all of it here
all of the time because we have nothing else to do.
So tonight we are going to a hotel, change of scenery.

(07:06):
Let's see how the dogs do first time in a hotel.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
I think they're gonna be okay, they'll be all right,
And obviously it's nice to have that as an option.

Speaker 7 (07:14):
Yeah, I will say again, feel very grateful for that option,
because there's a lot of families that that's not an
option for to be able to go to a hotel
and you got an.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Update yesterday on power, then when you were going to
get power again, and this is beyond I'm frustrated for
you and for everyone because this is insane.

Speaker 7 (07:29):
Yeah, So we originally got a text from NES saying, oh,
your power is back on, so we went to our
house and checked on it.

Speaker 6 (07:35):
No power on my street.

Speaker 7 (07:37):
There's literally two streets in my neighborhood that don't have power,
and it's my street and the one next to us.

Speaker 6 (07:42):
So I was like, what is going on?

Speaker 7 (07:44):
So we like talk to the NS people that were
out there actively working and they said the new update
for our street is February sixth, so next friday until
we have it's over our week to the house.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Just insane.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Yeah, I've got friends in Green Hills, my old neighborhood,
that they're still looking at over two weeks out is
what they're told until power comes back. I know that
everybody's working as hard as humanly possible, but this is
I don't know, that's very taxing for anybody affected.

Speaker 7 (08:12):
Yeah, at some point it starts to take like a
mental toll. I'm just exhausted and want to be at
home in MySpace, But again, very grateful that we have
what we're able to do, save with a friend, go
to a hotel. We're safe for warm. There's a lot
of families that are not as lucky, and that just
breaks my heart.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
A lot of the elderly. I keep thinking about the
elderly and people who have you know, newborn babies or
little babies, like it's just it's insane that this is
still going on. I'm sorry, Zach.

Speaker 6 (08:40):
We'll get through a babes and I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
For everybody else out there who doesn't have power right now.
It's so hard to because it's like there's nothing that
we can do really yeah, like.

Speaker 7 (08:48):
I can't go out and fix the electricity or else
I would.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Right, So it's just it's a very frustrating time.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Right now, we can continue to spread the word about
community events and different things happening.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Which is what we are going to continue to do
obviously throughout this entire time. So a few things for
you guys to make a note if you don't have power.
Brown's Diner they haven't been able to open due to
power outages in storm weather, so they announced yesterday that
they're going to do a parking lot cookout today from
eleven am to three pm. They said they'll have hot
dogs and hamburgers for free for everyone. Donations are appreciated.

(09:20):
It's going to go right to their staff because their
staff hasn't been able to work all week. This is
obviously another impact of this is that businesses can open
and nobody can get to them, and a lot of
places are in areas where it's still ice. There are
still roads that have ice on them right now, so
it's making it really difficult for everybody to operate and
to make money in order to pay their bills and

(09:40):
stuff like that. Ed Lee's Barbecue is giving out free
pork barbecue sandwiches until everyone gets power back in Middle Tennessee.
So they're offering up free Wi Fi inside. So they said,
you know, if you need to get warm, you need
to get some stuff done. They have free Wi Fi
and they have sandwiches for anyone who needs it, which
is really amazing. There's going to be obviously a lot

(10:00):
more that's announced. Please follow us at one O seven
five the River. We've been trying our hardest to post
every single thing happening, all the places that are opening,
all the places doing community events. Like this. We've been
trying to repost onto our stories and repost onto our
feed so that you know what's happening, as well as
keeping you updated on air here on one of seven
five the River.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
Thank you for those updates, Ricky, stay strong, Zach and
everybody else that is still still dealing with it.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Three things you need to know all right, friends.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
Just after seven o'clock here on this Thursday morning, thank
you for starting your day with us. We always appreciate
that Ricky Sanchez has was three things.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
We're getting more snow this weekend. This is obviously not
the forecast that anybody wants to hear right now, especially
with all the power outages throughout Middle Tennessee, but unfortunately
that's where we're at right now. There's a chance of
light snow tomorrow and to Saturday and another burst of
very cold weather. This is gonna be a little rough,
but the one positive is that it's snow and it's

(10:56):
not ice, so we're looking at just regular snow, not ice.
It'll hopefully warm up and melt everything, because this is
just it's been a rough week for everybody here in
Middle Tennessee, and we are thinking about you every single day,
So if you don't have power, we do have a
lot of resources for you up at one of seven
five of the River's Instagram account and on our Facebook
so you can follow us there. We've been updating you

(11:18):
with different places you can go to stay warm. There
are warming shelters for you to go to as well,
but we're trying to do our best to make sure
that you are as comfortable as you can while this
insanity is happening. Ariana Grande is going to reissue tickets
for her mini tour on Ticketmaster. She posted the announcement
that next month, Ticketmaster is going to reissue a pool

(11:39):
of Eternal Sunshine Tour tickets. After the initial sale in October,
there were a lot of things that went wrong, so
Ticketmaster went back and found a lot of bad actors
that violated their ticket purchase terms, so those tickets were avoided,
but a chunk of them were already resold on the
secondary market, which made it a little hard for them.
And obviously this is a huge issue for Ticketmaster and

(12:01):
there are a lot of artists that are speaking out
about it, Ariana Grande being one of them. So Ticketmasters
said that they're going to prioritize fans who did nothing
wrong but had their resale tickets canceled, so you're gonna
expect next month for them to put them back on
the market for you to buy. The Eternal Sunshine Tour
is doing nine stops in America plus London and Montreal

(12:23):
from June through Labor Day weekend. It is a mini
tour that she is doing. Hines the Ketchup brand. They're
making a keg of Ketchup. Oh what they're calling it
keg Chup. It's about two feet tall. It's a keg
that's about two feet tall. It holds a ridiculous mount
amount of one hundred and fourteen ounces of ketchup that

(12:44):
comes right out of a spigot, which is absolutely insane.
Fans lost their minds over a teaser that they posted
on Instagram last fall, so they decided, you know what,
everybody loves this so much, might as well make it real.
So you could try to win one through Instagram giveaways
now if you're obsessed with this idea, or you can
sign up for early access because it's gonna go on
sale later this year. You can buy ke what's.

Speaker 3 (13:07):
The point is it?

Speaker 4 (13:08):
For?

Speaker 1 (13:08):
Like a massive party because ketchup is not gonna stay good.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
For too long.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
I guess a massive party. I don't really know. I
hate ketchup, so I have no idea why I never
want to buy that.

Speaker 6 (13:19):
I feel like, if you're like a refaant owner, that's brilliant.

Speaker 7 (13:22):
You can buy a big old keg of it and
people come walk up and pump around.

Speaker 6 (13:25):
Ketchup brilliant, not.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
A terrible idea.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
You're right, Zack, And those are the three things.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
You're speaking right now, because we're like, Wow, okay, that
does make sense.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
Has never happened before. Thank you, Ricky, Good job, Zach.
We've got more from Zach right after. On top of this,
after mut it's time for Zax Facts.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
Lass is in Sessions Sacks Fact on one River.

Speaker 7 (13:50):
So I know a lot of us are still dealing
with it being so extremely cold outside. I found this
would be so interesting. But did you know that like
what you eat can actually make you warmer. So if
you eat more of a high protein diet than it
can actually make you warmer inside because it's harder for
your body to digest, so your body is working harder
and it'll keep you warmer for longer.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
If you like a piece of cardboard or something that's
probably real hard for your body to digest.

Speaker 6 (14:12):
I mean sounds like a lot of fiber to me.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
I think you're gonna have some issues later. Please don't
do that.

Speaker 7 (14:17):
Get you a big it says chicken beef for pork
require a lot more energy to break down, generating heat.

Speaker 6 (14:23):
So eat a lot of protein and you'll be warm.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Good to know.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
There's your fact of the day and is the resident vegetarian.
I have to say there's plenty of protein in.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
The vegetables as well. And a mommy and a mammy
tofu black beans.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
Thank you, Zach, you got to bring it up every
time you like people that.

Speaker 4 (14:39):
Cross Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning checking.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
In on you.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
It's been a devastating week in Nashville. Sadly, so many
people still without power, without heat. I mean, we're doing
our best to stay on top of all the you know,
the ways to help the community, resources for you, but
really just hoping the us for everybody.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
In this community.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Yeah, So if you want to check in with us,
let us know how you're doing, how your neighborhood is doing,
you could always call us six one five, seven, three, seven, nine,
one oh seven. There are a lot of things happening
in the community right now to help out those without power,
who can't have a hot meal, who can't get warm.
The Equity Alliance is doing Feed the Block today at
two pm at Andrew Jackson Homes in Nashville. They're going

(15:25):
to be sharing meals and community together.

Speaker 5 (15:28):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (15:28):
There's Chain Sauce for Jesus, which is a nonprofit that
provides equipment, mint and maintenance. So if you are volunteering
to offer with cleanup, there's a lot of cleanup that
needs to happen around Middle Tennessee with all of the
different trees that are down right now. They'll sharpen your
chain saws for free.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
Not to take away anyway from that because that's incredible,
but do you know if they have merchant I know, a.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
Change Sauce for Jesus. I agree, it's a great it's
a great phrase. Uh. They're doing it at Attractive Supply
parking Lot in Franklin, So you can go out there
and get your chainsaws nice and sharpened for free, because,
like I said, a lot of that is needed right now.
There's so many trees down. Yesterday, I saw in the
gulch on Eleventh Avenue. There every tree was essentially down.

(16:12):
It's really scary, and they just started to clean them up.
Yesterday afternoon is when they were starting to kind of
cut them down and get rid of them.

Speaker 3 (16:19):
So I realize how many people have chainsaws. You know,
how often you see somebody's chainsaw.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
I mean, I don't know if you want to see
someone's chainsaw like Kevin. But there are a lot of
things happening. We are continuously updating on one of seven
five the River's Instagram accounts so that you can keep
up with all the local businesses that are opening. Please
support small right now. They're really struggling obviously, almost a
full week of not being able to be open. A
lot of the waitresses and waiters and bartenders are all

(16:48):
going to be struggling because there was tips exactly. So
please support local if you can, because it's very important
to make sure that these businesses stay running.

Speaker 7 (16:56):
I also do want to say if you don't have
like a way to cook warm food, or if you
don't have the funds to go purchase anything, they are
doing free food trucks at the Metro Warming shelters, So
like at the Nashville Fairgrounds, the Southeast Community Center in
Antioch and Madison Community Center.

Speaker 6 (17:11):
They are doing free dinner tonight from five to seven.

Speaker 7 (17:14):
You just show up, grab free food and that way
you have a nice warm belly and a place to
go and see other people and take care of yourself
and your family.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
And this might not apply to you, but you probably
know somebody that could use the help, So please spread
the word. And again, our instagram is a great resource.
At one oh seven five the River, we put a
bunch of this information up there.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the River.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
Hope you ready to play sure Thing. That's the name
of Kevin Manno's game of the Day, presented by Genesis
Diamonds on one oh seven five the River. It's called
short Thing because we got tickets to Miguel so it
kind of makes sense.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
Yeah, because we play hits and short Thing. He's going
to be at the Ryeman February eleventh. If you missed
the game yesterday, we'll explain it to you next. But
it's quite possibly the easiest game we have ever played.
Six one, five, three, seven, nine, one oh seven. If
you want to do it, if you want to go
see Miguel call us. We're playing next down the River one.

Speaker 4 (18:05):
O seven the River, Ricky Zach and Meadow in the morning.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Gil is going to be at the Ryeman in February eleventh.
You can be there too. If you win Kevin Mano's
Game of the Day on one O seven five the River.
We got tickets to see him. Obviously. This game is
called shore Thing also obviously because of Miguel.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Yeah, and because it's a very easy game, it's pretty
much a sure thing that you're gonna win the tickets.

Speaker 3 (18:28):
Let's say good morning to Daniella and Lebanon. How you
doing you We're good, We're good. Tell us about your week.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
How have you been handling the storm?

Speaker 2 (18:38):
I'm trapped in the house with three kids, but I
finally got out yesterday for the first time.

Speaker 6 (18:43):
Oh thank goodness. You need at the time.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
Absolutely.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
What are the ages of the kids?

Speaker 2 (18:49):
Ten, nine, and two?

Speaker 1 (18:52):
Okay, well, the ten and nine year old can help
with the two year old, you would think, so, okay,
maybe no, that.

Speaker 7 (18:57):
Was shade right there yet these.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Kids, hopefully, you know, things are gonna get better. Obviously
with school clothes it's a little rough, but there's a
possibility that you get another break on February eleventh if
you win this game.

Speaker 6 (19:11):
Awesome.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
All right, here we go, Daniella.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
You gotta get three out of five of these questions
right to win the tickets.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
Are you ready?

Speaker 1 (19:19):
Game starts right now, Daniella.

Speaker 3 (19:25):
What's your favorite movie?

Speaker 2 (19:29):
I like Titanic?

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Alright, strong starts, Strong start.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
I just watched Titanic again recently. It holds up forever
and always.

Speaker 6 (19:40):
I've never seen that watch.

Speaker 7 (19:43):
I've never watched it, Daniella. We'll have to watch it together.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
I'm for sure.

Speaker 5 (19:50):
Strong.

Speaker 3 (19:51):
All right, you got a point.

Speaker 4 (19:52):
Here we go.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
Question number two, Daniella, is your ideal vacation relaxing or adventurous?

Speaker 5 (19:59):
Relax?

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Think for sure, that's my day, she said, I got
three kids. We need to relax on vacation.

Speaker 6 (20:05):
It cuts her on the beach.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
You're crushing this. Here we go.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
You get this right, you win, Daniello. Your personal preference
coffee or tea?

Speaker 5 (20:14):
Coffee?

Speaker 7 (20:14):
Hey, dan Yellow, with those three kids, how many cups
of coffee do you have a day?

Speaker 2 (20:25):
About three?

Speaker 1 (20:28):
The idea here is that you know, nobody needs more
stress this week, so we just want to make it nice.
And simple and easy, and you want you're going to
see Miguel.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
At the Ryman.

Speaker 7 (20:36):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
You didn't hesitate at all. That's great on your part.
You're getting take us to see Miguel at the Rhyman
of February eleventh. Thank you, guys. Hang on the line, love,
We just got to get some info from you, Okay,
thank you, Zach.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
I feel like I know a lot about you, and
I know you don't. You know you're not up to
date on all the current movies. But Titanic.

Speaker 6 (20:58):
I don't know that I can debt hate that much
time to watch it. It's just so long, I'll fall asleep.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
No you won't, Yeah, no you won't. I promise you.

Speaker 3 (21:06):
It's so good, and you can watch it increments, watch
an hour today.

Speaker 7 (21:08):
I feel like I've just heard so many people talk
about it that I already know what happened. What's the
point of me watching it? The sink goes down, the
sink on the door.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
I mean that I don't know anything about it. The
boat Saints was on the.

Speaker 6 (21:19):
Door, Jack Dies Kevin.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
Remember how it came in two different cassettes?

Speaker 3 (21:23):
Oh yeah, like doubles. It was too much for one VHS.

Speaker 2 (21:27):
So long, two different vhs.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Three things you need to know, all right, just after
eight o'clock here on this Thursday morning, Ricky Sanchez has
those three things.

Speaker 2 (21:39):
So I have an update on power outages in Middle
Tennessee and E S is now reporting a little over
ninety thousand customers without power. Middle Tennessee Electric is reporting
fourteen customers without power.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
Dixon Electrics I said fourteen was at fourteen thou fourteen
fourteen customers.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
Oh, yep, they're really they're getting to it. Dixon Electric
reports over twenty seven hundred customers. Try County Electric reports
around seventy eight hundred customers without electricity, so they're working
on it. Please continue to check on your neighbors if
you can. This is a really hard time for a
lot of Middle Tennessee right now. It's cold. A lot
of you haven't had powers in days, which is just insane.

(22:17):
We're getting snow this weekend and another cold front, so
it's it's rough right now. Warming shelters are open across
Middle Tennessee if you're in the Metro National area. They're
also offering rides to the shelters, so you can call
six one five four zero one seventeen twelve. That's six
one five four zero one seventeen twelve to get a

(22:37):
ride to the shelters. And I just want to say
that when this is all over, let your representatives know
how this storm impacted you and tell them that something
needs to change with how we operate during snow and
ice storms, because the snow and ice storms are not
stopping in Tennessee. This has been happening the last five
years that I'm here. We get snow and we get ice,
and we need better ways of handling how these things happen.

(23:00):
So when this is all over, or even now, if
you got power and you're good, let your representatives know
how this has impacted you and your neighbors, because that's
the one hope for change is if they come up
with better plans for these situations. Noah Khan announced his
fourth album. He made a post on social media yesterday
announcing that we can expect his fourth album, The Great Divide,

(23:21):
on April twenty fourth, So mark your calendars. He's back.
He's actually back starting this Friday, because that's when the
first single off his album called The Great Divide is
coming out. So everyone's obviously looking really forward to some
new Noacon. We can't wait. So, like I said, April
twenty fourth is the day we get it all and
Absolute and Tabasco have teamed up for a spicy new vodka.

(23:43):
It's rolling out more than fifty markets starting next month.
They said it's perfect for drinks like Bloody Mary's or
even spicy lemonades, which I've never thought about, but a
spicy lemonade sounds delightful right now.

Speaker 6 (23:56):
Spicy is a.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
Big trend for drinks and a lot of alcohol that
believe it's only going to continue to grow in the
coming years, So expect more spicy versions of different alcoholic
beverages coming out more and more. I'm Ricky Sanchez and
those are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
Why would you do that to us?

Speaker 5 (24:11):
Ricky?

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Does it a spicy lemonade sound amazing?

Speaker 3 (24:14):
Twenty nine days into Dry January, it all sounds amazing.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
We're so close.

Speaker 4 (24:18):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on the river.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
Are you doing Dry January? It's Ricky, Zach and Mano
in the morning on one oh seven five of the River.
We all three of us are doing Dry January this year.
I did it last year. I survived the entire month
until the last day and then gave up.

Speaker 6 (24:37):
You were so close.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
I was very close, very very close, and we all
decided that we were going to do it kind of together,
and we've been supporting each other through the month of
getting through dry January.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
I know there are a lot of people we lasted
this long, A lot of people out there that don't drink,
people that are sober, people that just drink, you know,
once every six months or something.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
But we are a morning show that likes to drink.

Speaker 6 (24:56):
We like to party.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
You dabble in the alcoholic beverages.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
And maybe that's not the best thing for us, but
I wasn't sure that all three of us would be
able to to, you.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
Know, hang on as long as we have. And I'm
super proud of us.

Speaker 6 (25:07):
I'm genuinely impressed.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
Yeah, I agree, especially living through what we've lived through
the last month.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
There's been a lot going on.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
Yeah, that's I think the biggest thing is there's been
a lot happening, and we've made it. Guys, We're almost there.
We're almost there.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
Here's my burning question that I was gonna ask you, guys.
You ready, You're ready Sunday is February. First, what's the
first thing you're gonna drink.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
That's a great question because Zach and I have already
said that we're going to brunch on the.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
Town.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
Yes, we're gonna do mimosas, and I think that's gonna
be our first drink, although I really want a dirty martini,
dirty martini, bhilthy dirty Martini.

Speaker 6 (25:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
Okay, so I think Zach and I know what we're
having for brunch.

Speaker 3 (25:53):
That's a heck of a brunch drink.

Speaker 6 (25:56):
Well, the Sunday's gonna be a fun day, baby.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
Going right into the deep end immediately, apparently, Kevin answer
your own.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
Question, Well, I'm looking for I'm a tequila guys, So
I'm gonna I'm gonna try to wait until the end
of the day when the Grammy's are on Sunday night,
and I'm gonna really really turn the Grammy's into a
party of my house.

Speaker 3 (26:12):
Okay, love that for you again, And just.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
To say, I mean, I am proud of us, but
it's been the least fun month of my life.

Speaker 4 (26:23):
Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the four of Us Here.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
At Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning are doing
dry January. We've talked about it a little bit here
on one oh seventy five of the River, but not much.
I think we don't want to dwell too much on
it until the end.

Speaker 6 (26:35):
Yeah, we want to celebrate at the end, right.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
Because we're so closed. So now we're talking about it.
We're almost done with dry January. We got Lily and
Gildblitsville on the line. Good morning, Lily morning. You're doing
dry January two right.

Speaker 8 (26:47):
Okay, that's actually not even about me. My daughter is
on a hockey team. I always tell people if you're
trying to find the dad, just go to the bar,
because they keep those in all of our hockey. Right now,
one of the dads is doing dry January, or he
was doing dry January. One of the dads was sitting

(27:08):
at the bar and he was drinking a regular soda
and I was like, that's clear. You have the heaviest
drinker we have. He said, I'm doing dry January and
I actually succeeded last year. Halfway into February. I was like, oh,
I'm so proud of you. I find him an hour later,
double fisting beer.

Speaker 5 (27:27):
Oh, I said, sir, what happened?

Speaker 4 (27:31):
To dry January.

Speaker 8 (27:32):
He goes, I set a thirty minute car ride with
one of the other hockey moms. You would want to
drink too. I said, well, I guess since you made
it halfway through February, you only needed to make it
through half of January this year. And he goes, that
is a good point.

Speaker 5 (27:49):
I like that.

Speaker 6 (27:50):
That is what we call girl math right through.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
Everybody's got apparently it's a hockey Yeah.

Speaker 4 (28:01):
Do you know?

Speaker 3 (28:03):
Do you know this other mom?

Speaker 7 (28:04):
I do?

Speaker 3 (28:05):
And I was sads.

Speaker 7 (28:12):
All we needed sounds like there's so much drama happening
at the hockey rin to the next game, because I
want to watch all of this go down in real time.

Speaker 8 (28:20):
When we're in Saint Louis last weekend or the weekend
before the parents are over there threatening the ref life.
I'm here for it, do I'm like, I probably said
meet me in the parking lot after this once or
twice to a rest because my daughter got slammed.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
I'm going to say, I'm from the North. I'm from Jersey,
New York. That's how we do things. So I related,
I did it meet me outside?

Speaker 7 (28:44):
How about that?

Speaker 8 (28:46):
With my kids?

Speaker 3 (28:47):
I feel like she's actually challenging Ricky to a fight. Lily,
thank you for calling. We appreciate you listening.

Speaker 8 (28:54):
A good day to.

Speaker 4 (28:58):
Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning.

Speaker 2 (29:01):
If you remember my Space, then the daily double tap
that we're going to play for you on one of
seven five of the River is going to hit you
in your fields and also make you go, oh, maybe
this is actually real.

Speaker 6 (29:12):
Yeah, it's fair.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
Hm, it's a good question. Here we go Today's daily
double tap.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
Whatever you put on the Internet is there forever? Is
that watching you put on there? Where's my MySpace? Where
is it? Because I want to go look at it?
Where's my MySpace?

Speaker 3 (29:27):
I'm with her. I am totally with her.

Speaker 7 (29:29):
I feel like I would be so embarrassed if I
went back and like my face and see what I
was posting and doing.

Speaker 6 (29:34):
I do not want to see that now.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
I mean, what types of posts for you guys posting?
Was it just like the cryptic stuff or were you uh,
probably always beefing with somebody.

Speaker 6 (29:43):
That was definitely Ricky.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
I'm just being attacked right now.

Speaker 7 (29:48):
I'm just saying like, whenever I get like a pop
up on my timeline on Facebook, I was posting the
dumbest sayings of.

Speaker 6 (29:53):
Like what a good day to have a Saturday? The
sun is shining. I'm like, who posts that on social media?

Speaker 4 (29:58):
That?

Speaker 2 (29:58):
So it's like the pictures and the way that we
would edit them, you know, on the pictures like I
don't need to see that.

Speaker 1 (30:06):
I mean, I'll say, I'm I ruined so many cool
photos with early Instagram filters. The only copy I have
of so many of these awesome pictures are like brown
and weird and all heavily filtered.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
Like what were we doing?

Speaker 1 (30:20):
I don't know, I don't know what are we doing
now online? That's gonna make us cringe in the future.
That's oh plenty, I'm sure, sure always, But that's a
good question where I mean, if they say everything stays
on the internet, where is that stuff? Because I would
like to see it. I know you guys don't want
to see it, but I want to. We're gonna post
that video Today's day of double Tap. They always go
up at one oh seven five the River on Instagram.

Speaker 2 (30:39):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on the River
