Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know every Friday.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Friends, we made it to Friday. What a week it's been.
My goodness, Ricky Sanchez is right here with those three things.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Speaking of the week that it's been, National Waste Services
made an announcement for trash pickup. They haven't been able
to pick up trash in National since before the storm
hits because of hazardous roads and the aftermath of the
storm with all the trees down and the ice and everything.
So today we'll resume regular pickup with trash. Tomorrow is
going to be Monday and Tuesday routes. Sunday will be

(00:30):
Wednesday routes. Monday will be Thursday routes where cycling pickups
are on hold until your next typical scheduled day. Convenience
centers are open for you to drop your trash. Their
hours are from eight am to three thirty pm today
through Monday. I will put this up on one oh
seven five the River's Instagram page in our story so
that you have all of the actual days listed. It

(00:51):
is up on their instagram as well. They've been very
good about posting every day about whether or not they
were going to pick up trash. Finally, a little since
normalcy that they are picking up trash again. More artists
have been added as performers for this weekend's Grammys. Lady
Gaga and Tyler the Creator were just added. They have
multiple nominations this year, so this is gonna be really good, okay,

(01:16):
because previously announced the performers are Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber,
all of the Best New Artists category, and a bunch more.
The Grammys are this Sunday at seven pm our time.
I'm personally very excited. I know Kevin you're gonna be
watching as well.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
I'm very excited about Yeah, it sounds like it's gonna
be a great show, and.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
It'll be the end of drug January, so I'm really
looking forward to it.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
That's what he's looking forward to more than anything. But
it does look like it's shaping out to be a really,
really good show. I think it's like one of the
few times in the last few years that I've been
genuinely excited to watch the Grammys. Las Vegas shared their
predictions for the most popular wedding dates of the year.
These dates are all based on decades of data that
they have because a lot of people go to Vegas

(01:56):
to get married, so they include so called magic with
repeating numbers. They have palodromes, all that good stuff. Holidays
are a big one, so pretty much every holiday except
for Christmas is gonna be a big one. Valentine's Day,
fourth of July, Halloween, even I was shocked to see that.
Other big ones are June second because it's a palindrome,

(02:17):
so it's six to twenty six, okay, so you could
do it backwards where it's still six to twenty six.
Kind of wild. June twenty six. For the same reason.
Anything that's like an interesting like shape up of numbers,
it's kind of funny because it's almost kind of like
gambling at this point, like Vegas is obviously attached to gambling,

(02:38):
and you pick your numbers very superstitiously. Same idea here
when it comes to weddings, which is kind of wild.
I'm rick Sanchez, and those are the three things you
need to know.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Ricky is Zach and Mano. In the morning on.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Doing our first caller of the day, we got our
friend Kim and Beth Page on the line. Good morning, Kim. Hello,
you were just telling us really quickly that you just
got power back where you are.

Speaker 5 (03:02):
Yes, we got it yesterday, but I feel guilty because
no one across the street from us as it back.
Yet it's just our side of the street. I'm up
on the ridge, and some of the neighbors that got
back yesterday last night we were like, oh no, because
across the street it's bad.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
I actually stayed with a neighbor with a wood stove
the whole time mine was out. I had to walk
across three acres to get there several times to day
and come back and feed my pets that were still
in my thirty degree house. And yeah, that was terrible.
Everybody was, you know, the elderly, the pets, the kids
up here bad.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Oh, Kim, I'm so happy that you have some power
and some hope then, because hopefully everybody across the street
starts to get some power too.

Speaker 5 (03:43):
I'm praying for them. I know a lot of people
in Nashville don't have it. I get it, and it's
just yeah. My another neighbor went and got gas for me,
and a gas can walked it up a five hundred
and fifty foot hill to get it to me so
I could warm up in my car. Neighbors are fantastic.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
That's a big for this this winter storm is neighbors
and we've been talking about it a lot on air
of like, help your neighbors if you can, because you
might be the only person that can get to them
right now.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
Yes, she invited everybody in the neighborhood that has the
wood stove, and we have one person with a generator
across the street.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
So that was I that's really sweet. Yeah, everybody pitching in.

Speaker 5 (04:19):
Yes, thirty I did not realize how cold thirty degrees
was in a house till I slept in it that
first night Sunday. I thought I would die. Yeah, I
was under one hundred blanke its couldn't move. You wake
up me up, froth bite on your nose. You're like,
I can't live, Like, I don't know how people do it.
I don't know how people do it.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
Oh my gosh, Kim, I'm so happy for you. I
really do feel like this is a turning point that
a lot more people are going to start to get power.
I really hope so at least fingers crossed, because this
is just all absolute insanity.

Speaker 5 (04:47):
We all have electricity guilt because we're enjoying it. We're
so happy, and then we're like, oh no, so many
people don't sure, and yeah, it's you just start giving
up hope. After a while, it's like three four days
and the people that have to go to week I
am so sorry for them. It's terrible, Kim.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
We all are. We're all thinking about everybody, and we're
you know, trying to give a little bit of sense
of normalcy here on one O seven five of the River.
So that's why we started doing our giveaways again and
stuff like that to kind of give people something to
look forward to. And with that being said, you are
the first caller of the day, so you're gonna takets
to see Laurence Spencer Smith at the Ryman next week.

Speaker 6 (05:22):
Yay, yay.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
That is exciting, very forward to You need something like
that coming up right now, something to you know, get
excited about.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
And they'll have a lot I'm sure, Yes.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Yes, yes, Kim. Thank you so much for hanging out
with us. Oh you're so welcome. Hang on the line, Okay,
we got to get some info from you real quick,
and we'll see you at the show.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
Perfect. Yay, Thank you.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Ricky, Zach and Manow in the morning.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Happy Friday, friends, it's the River Ricky, Zach and Mano.
In the morning every Friday about this time, we run down,
you know, things happening in and around town of cornucopia
of Nashville's many cornacopia this day, it's a lot of businesses,
local stuff that places that are given back.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
You know, a lot of.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
People still need help in the aftermath of these storms.
So we have a pretty solid list for you.

Speaker 7 (06:12):
Yeah, I thought this one was actually really cool. So
Sanctuary Salons here in Nashville is doing complimentary blowouts for
those without power. And I know that it seems like
something so small, but you would feel so much better
having nice, clean hair a blowout like you need this.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Every woman listening right now knows how much of a
difference it makes when you get your hair done or
when you can wash your hair after you cant for
a while. So that's huge.

Speaker 7 (06:35):
So that is that Sanctuary Salons in Nashville. Look them
up if you want to go get your free blowout. Also,
the og of Hot Chicken in Nashville, Prince Is Hot
Chicken is doing free meals all week and long, so
if you just follow their Instagram, they'll give you all
of the updates on when and where they're doing it
this weekend.

Speaker 8 (06:52):
But the og Prince is Hot Chicken.

Speaker 7 (06:54):
It's given out free meals all week and long, so
our friends that still need food, there's more people like
ed Lee's Barbecue.

Speaker 8 (07:00):
You they're giving up free.

Speaker 7 (07:01):
Pork sandwiches and Wi Fi And they said that they're
going to do this until everybody has power back, so
indefinitely until everybody has power back, can go get a
free pork sandwich from ed Lee's Barbecue at all of
their locations. Also, Resting Burrito Face is giving up free meals. Girl,
I love a burrito.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
That's your favorite. It really is my favorite love burritos,
so it's.

Speaker 7 (07:22):
Called Resting Burrito Face. They're giving up free meals as well.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Second Harvest at the Nashville Farmers Market they're giving away
a thousand hot meals at lunchtime today. Hot Meals also
at Canvas Lounge off of Fatherland in East Nashville, happening
from twelve to three today. Really amazing stuff. Daily lunch
and dinner at Madison Community co Op is also happening.
Lunch is at one pm, Dinner is five thirty to

(07:46):
eight thirty pm, And Barrel Proof and loves Albi. They're
offering free meals starting at twelve pm. They also want
everyone to know that their dog friendly, they have Wi Fi,
they have just a place for you to warm up,
charge your stuff, whatever you need. They've reached out on
their Instagram to just let everybody know that like they
are open and they're willing to help.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
I'd love that.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
And just a reminder support small today and this weekend.
A lot of people are just really hurting after this storm.
A lot of restaurants how to close down, a lot
of shops how to close down. So there's a lot
of people missing out on money because of this storm
who really need it, because the small businesses here in
Nashville are already struggling with the rent prices getting hiked

(08:29):
and all the changes happening here. So support small this
weekend if you're going out absolutelyportant.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
Yeah, thank you for that, both of you guys.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
If you you know, kind of miss something there, we
will post this later as a podcast.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
You can always find our show every day as a podcast.
If you want a.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
Reference back to anything that they just mentioned, it'll be
up there wherever you get your podcasts or tricky Zach
and Mannow, thank you guys for that. It's great to
see the community stepping up.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
The three things you need to know just after.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Seven o'clock here on this Friday morning. Thank you so
much for starting.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
Your Friday with us. Ricky's got those three things.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
Brown's Diner is doing an parking lot cookout today. Yesterday
they served burgers, hot dogs, and fries to the community
for free in their parking lot and they're gonna do
it again today. If you still don't have power or
you need a hot meal, you can stop on over
at Browns from ten am till three pm for some
free food and community donations are very much appreciated, and
they're all going right to the staff who haven't been

(09:20):
able to work all week since they've been out of
power and with this storm. So please donate something, even
if it's just a little amount, it's gonna go a
long way for the people who are here to help
you and they're serving you. So this is really amazing stuff.
We're really excited to hear about Brown's Diner stepping up
for the community. Hillary Tough made an announcement at her
show last night in La She's going on a world tour,

(09:42):
so Last night was the last stop of her four
city mini tour, where she announced the world tour was
quote loading. So we have no dates, we have no cities.
Nothing's been fully announced just yet. We just know that
it's coming. I expect an announcement today at some point.
So if that happens, we will post it on one
oh seven five the River's Instagram page so that you

(10:03):
can see it and you can start planning, marking down
your calendar of when you can see her. And you
can swap jewelry from your ex for new jewelry. At
Jcpenny this Valentine's Day, they're doing an event called the
Jcpenny Exchange Get It Exchange, where shoppers can trade in
their jewelry from an X for a new piece. So
they're giving customers a half carrot lab grown diamond necklace,

(10:26):
which is really nice. The exchange jewelry that they're going
to be collecting will all be donated to the nonprofit
Good three sixty, which you'll give them some second life,
So somebody is going to get the pieces that you
donate and you get something new that's not attached to
your really crappy X. That's very cool that they's a
win win all around. We love to see it, Amrique Sanchez.

(10:48):
And those are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
I think that my wife has a few things from
her past that I'd be happy to see.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
Oh that you would be happy to see it.

Speaker 4 (10:56):
I don't know, we'll see Recky. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
I hope you're right it learn because right after the song,
it's time for Zack's Facts next on the River.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Last is in Sessions Zack's.

Speaker 8 (11:08):
Facts on one not gonna lie. This one kind of
blew my mind.

Speaker 7 (11:12):
Kevin sent it to me on Instagram set shout out
to you, mister Kevin Mano. But the average person spends
over one year of their life with their eyes closed
just from blinking.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
That's wild too, Like that's how.

Speaker 7 (11:24):
Often we blink. That your eyes are closed for a
whole year of your life.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
I mean, it happened so quick that we don't even
like register it most of the time.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
You don't, you know, realize that we are blinking. But
they all add up.

Speaker 8 (11:33):
I'm trying to keep our eyes wide open.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
You never blink again.

Speaker 9 (11:36):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
It's a terrible idea.

Speaker 8 (11:38):
And there's your fact of the day.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
Thanks zact Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
On the river all of this ice and everything. We
did get some snow last weekend, and it looks like
we're gonna get a little bit of snow in Middle
Tennessee again this weekend. Not sure if it's enough to sled,
but just in case it is, did you use an
alternative sled last year? Weekend?

Speaker 2 (12:00):
People get real creative out there, So if you have
anything that's not a sled that.

Speaker 4 (12:05):
You used as a sled, we want to know about.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
It's six one, five, seven, three seven, nine one oh seven.
Like Ricky said, more snow possibly coming, So help some
people out. If they don't have a sled, they and
they can be really hard to find once it starts snowing.
They're just kind of sold out everywhere. Six one, five, seven,
three seven, nine one oh seven. Your alternative sleds let
us know.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
The river, Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Easton in Nolansville is on the line right now. We're
asking for alternative sled ideas. There could potentially be some
more snow on the way this weekend.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
Uh So, Easton, do you have one for us?

Speaker 6 (12:39):
Last year we use a blow up kayak really smart.
It was fast, but it would also feel good on
your on your bomb.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
That's such a solid point. Sled's hurt sometimes when it
gets bumpy and you hit like those big bumps are rocks.
It's like not fun on the sled that way. So
this is a good alternative.

Speaker 6 (13:01):
At my friend's house, Kate, and he doesn't. We've made
a ramp with uh like you having like the servers.

Speaker 8 (13:10):
Oh yeah, that.

Speaker 6 (13:11):
Was made out on the bush so we could jump
it and we jump and got so muddy.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
Eas Sid, please be careful when you're doing that. I
know I sound like such a mom right now, but
it sounds like a lot of fun. But please be careful.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
Okay, Oh good, guess we're that helmet.

Speaker 4 (13:28):
Thank you, mom, thank you for calling in.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
We hope you have a great day.

Speaker 6 (13:32):
Guys too.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
I have a really good one that I would like
to share with everybody. Zach, do you have any.

Speaker 7 (13:39):
Yeah, of course, I do an upside down folding table.
Like you take the folding table and you turn it
upside down and you slid.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
I just pictured some final destination type stuff happening with
those pieces that are sticking out legs.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
Hold the legs.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
I don't know that.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
I like that. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
I like that. Kevin, what's your idea.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Take a trash bag and put it over like a
couch cushion or something, because it's, you know, nice and
soft for your butt, but the trash bag makes it
nice and slick.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
I don't know, not a bad idea. I also will
say that I did see a video circulating that I
believe was in East Nashville where this happened. But people
were taking a canoe down a hills filled with ice
and snow.

Speaker 7 (14:18):
I'm so in, But my only fear about the canoe
is like, because you have to sit in it, like
if it flips over, you're stuck in it.

Speaker 8 (14:23):
Like I'm I would be scared of tring hap sizes.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
Okay, yeah, a lot of people were also using blow
up mattresses last weekend. I saw a video with blow
up mattresses.

Speaker 7 (14:32):
I have a big old unicorn inflatable like pool thing
that is brilliant. You can just fill in, fill up
the pool floaty and slide down and it's a big
old unicorn.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
I feel like it's gonna pop, But you tried until
it pops.

Speaker 4 (14:45):
Why not? I think we used a laundry basket when
I was a kid.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
There's a lot of laundry basket.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Do you want to join the conversation? Six one five, seven,
three seven nine one oh seven?

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (14:55):
Why was that face? Because the way I said conversation conversation.
Let us know your alternative clubs.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Ricky is Zach and manno in the morning on the river,
Brady and Auburn Town, welcome to one O seven five
the river. Tell us an alternative sled to use in
the snow. What's up?

Speaker 1 (15:15):
Let me put y'all on some games. So we're all
from about fifty percent of the people have a full.

Speaker 9 (15:20):
Wheeler and they have a cow draw and a cowtraw
is a way.

Speaker 8 (15:24):
To go a couch.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
What a cow trough?

Speaker 1 (15:27):
A cow trough, that's right.

Speaker 5 (15:28):
A beating trough up whatever it's us.

Speaker 9 (15:30):
Usually you can get the long ones and you can.

Speaker 5 (15:33):
Get four people in it, and you get a rope
and they usual they.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
Have holes on the ends of the draw and you die.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
It to your full wheel or whatever.

Speaker 6 (15:39):
Sometimes you don't even need a full wheeler and the
bomb all the.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
Time, Dy, I'm not gonna lie a lot of fun.

Speaker 4 (15:45):
That looks so fun.

Speaker 3 (15:45):
I'm totally.

Speaker 7 (15:46):
And I remember, like when I was in high school,
we would take like the hood of the car and
take it off and sit on the hood of the
car and have someone else pull us with a different car.

Speaker 4 (15:55):
It was so fun.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
It seems like everybody's got their own version of this
because I'm from in Jersey. I grew up on a
lake and we used to take a go kart on
the lake and tie up an inner tube to the
back of it. Yeah, and just drive around on the
lake and just whip the tube all over the place.
It was a lot of fun.

Speaker 4 (16:13):
How did any of you survive your childhood? This is
all insane.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
We survived and we have a lot of great stories
to tell.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
Now, I will say, Brady, I am, I guess such
a city boy.

Speaker 4 (16:23):
I've never priced cow troughs before.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
But I just looked it up and they're not that expensive.
I mean, you could get a pretty decent one for
like one hundred and twenty bucks at home depot.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
No, they're not too bad, and.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
If you get one new, you kind of minimize the
cowcraf on.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
Yeah, Brady, good tips. Thank you so much for calling in.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
I love that so much.

Speaker 8 (16:46):
Did you guys ever use baking sheets.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
That's a popular one. I don't think I ever did,
but yeah, that's a popular one.

Speaker 7 (16:51):
I remember when we couldn't find anything, was always a
baking sheet that we would use.

Speaker 8 (16:55):
My mother did not love it, but I had fun.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
It was the lids to the garbage cans most Yeah, Ricky,
did you say you guys would drive a truck on
ice pond and we would, well, we would take out
either the four wheelers or the goat cart and put
it out onto the lake, not the pond, the lake
when it would freeze over, and we would just attach
an inner tube to the back. And there was an
adult driving the goat cart, but it was the kids
in the back. And it was a lot of fun.

Speaker 8 (17:18):
See that's much more dangerous than mine.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
No fun. Fact, only a little bit of ice, like
an inch of ice, can hold a lot of weight.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
Guys, I don't think I want to test that theory,
but I say it's science.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
But also I want to say, do not try this
on your own. You need like seven inches of ice
to actually take those things out there.

Speaker 4 (17:34):
Don't do any of these things whatever over here. Don't
even try McGall tickets. We've got them.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
Next Ricky, Zach and Mennow.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
In the morning, we're playing Kevin Mano's game of the
Day on one O seven five the River. It's called
sure Thing. I think it's the easiest game that we
have ever played.

Speaker 4 (17:53):
Without a doubt.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
For tickets to see Miguel at the Ryeman on February eleventh.

Speaker 4 (17:57):
And Holly in Manchester is on the line right now. Morning, Holly,
how you doing.

Speaker 9 (18:01):
Good morning, I'm doing Wow. How are you guys?

Speaker 4 (18:03):
We're okay, We're okay.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
We've been checking in with people all week to see
how they made it through the storms.

Speaker 4 (18:07):
Did you guys lose power or anything?

Speaker 9 (18:09):
We didn't. We didn't lose power. I don't think we
got as much here as you guys did in Nashville.
So okay, good, good, grateful for that.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
Happy to hear that.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
Because of the storms, we've been playing the easiest game
we've ever played over here, because nobody needs extra stress.
It's called sure Thing. I'm gonna ask you some questions.
You get three out of five of them, right, these
mcguel tickets or yours?

Speaker 4 (18:30):
Okay, okay, awesome, all right, Holly in Manchester. Your game
starts right now.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Okay, Holly, what was your first concert?

Speaker 9 (18:42):
My first concert with new Kids on the Block?

Speaker 3 (18:45):
Oh no, on the board and good choice.

Speaker 4 (18:49):
That's awesome.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
Thanks.

Speaker 4 (18:52):
Do you remember who opened for them or anything? Because
that is so cool.

Speaker 6 (18:54):
I do not.

Speaker 9 (18:55):
I don't remember who opened for them. If I would
have had my picket, it would have been Debbie Gibson.
I'm really dating myself.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
Here, right. That's a throwback for sure, Hollie.

Speaker 4 (19:07):
Question too, here we go.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
If you had to teach a class on something, what
would it be?

Speaker 4 (19:13):
What do you know a lot about? Hollys? Okay, that's
a great answer.

Speaker 7 (19:21):
Two points, Holly, you just need one more, Holly, What
did you want to be.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
When you were a kid?

Speaker 9 (19:30):
I wanted to be a nurse in a prenatal unit.

Speaker 4 (19:36):
Are we going to take that? Judges, We're gonna do.

Speaker 9 (19:42):
Awesome. I'm so excited.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
Congratulations, Allie, you killed the game. He did a great job.

Speaker 9 (19:48):
Awesome. I appreciate you got some much.

Speaker 3 (19:51):
Hang on the line. Okay, we gotta get your info.

Speaker 4 (19:53):
Okay, we'll never.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
Play a game that easy again, knows but yeah, hopefully
we don't.

Speaker 3 (19:57):
We're not in a situation like we don't have to
deal with this again. Three things you need.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
To know well, he love just after eight o'clock here
on this Friday. We're very happy it's Friday.

Speaker 4 (20:07):
Very happy you're starting and with us. Ricky's got those
three things.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
There are still a lot of people in Middle Tennessee
without power right now, most of whom are now on
day six without power, which is insane. So the latest
tally shows that nes is reporting seventy two, three hundred
and forty five customers without power. Middle Tennessee Electric is
down to two two people without power, Dixon Electric shows

(20:32):
eleven hundred customers without power, and Tri County Electric reports
twenty nine hundred and ninety nine without power. Please keep
checking on your neighbors who don't have power. If you
need places to stay warm, there are still warming shelters
throughout Middle Tennessee that are open, and a lot of
places are offering free food, places for you to charge
up your electronics to get some Wi Fi. You can

(20:54):
see a lot of those updates over on one of
seventy five of the River's Instagram page. We're also obviously
going to keep you updated here on one of seven
five of the River, but it's very easy to just
keep those updates flowing on the River's Instagram page, And
this is your reminder to call your representatives and tell
them the kind of impacts that this storm had on
you and your neighbors, because we need to be better
prepared for winter weather here in Middle Tennessee. Because this

(21:16):
is absolutely insane at this point. So just your reminder
call your representatives when you get a chance. Jury Duty
is back for season two with a new setting. So
the premise of Jury Duty, if you don't know, it's
a show filmed where everyone on set knew that the
jury duty that they were at was fake, except for
one person who really thought they were spending a typical

(21:39):
stint as someone on jury duty. It was really a
big hit when it came out. This time, they had
to switch up the scenery. Obviously, you can't do jury
duty again. People are going to catch on. So they
went on a corporate retreat Jury Duty presents company retreat
set at an off site event for a family owned
hot sauce company. So they recently hired Anthony is his

(22:02):
name as a temp and he's in for a wild ride.
So this was filmed a year ago or so, and
the first fuse episodes of the season are going to
come out March twentieth. They're gonna get three episode on
episodes on March thirtieth or twentieth. The next two episodes
are on March twenty seventh. The final three are on
April third.

Speaker 8 (22:21):
I hope when they.

Speaker 3 (22:21):
Break it up like that, though it doesn't make any
sense to me. Just give us everything or do it weekly.
This is ridiculous, but you get your first taste March twentieth,
and Lego they have a new Golden Retriever set that
is available for pre order. Golden Retrievers are one of
the most popular dog breeds in the US, and they
have been for years. So Lego Icon's Golden Retriever puppy

(22:43):
is an adorable little pup wearing a blue collar with
a gold tag. After you put it together and you
assemble it, you can pose it in different positions, including
the shake stamp.

Speaker 8 (22:53):
It's so cute.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
It's got over two thousand pieces, but it can be
pre ordered now for their February first release this weekend.
You just gotta go to Lego's website. It'll cost you
about one hundred and forty dollars. I'm Rick Sanchez, and
those are the three things you need to know, prikis
Zach and Meno in the Morning on one yeahther Around.
Welcome to the Leftovers on one oh seven five the River.

(23:14):
This is where each of us gets thirty seconds to
tell you either a story or a topic, whatever it
might be that just didn't make the show this week.
I always kick it off. I'm ready to start. I'm
gonna tell you the trend that men are finally hopping
on that women have been doing for decades.

Speaker 4 (23:30):
You've got thirty seconds to present.

Speaker 5 (23:32):
Go.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
So they're embracing skincare, grooming, and even get Ready with
Me routines.

Speaker 4 (23:38):
Oh I know.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
The funniest and best part of all of this, though,
is that they're insisting that it's not beauty culture. They're
trying to, you know, say, it's not beauty culture, it's
not what women do. But it's the exact same thing.
Because viral videos are happening all over the place of
get Ready with Me routines like the one from heatd
Rivalries Hudson Williams. He has a five step Korean skincare
routine that has millions of views right now and a

(24:02):
lot of men following his lead. So the trend is
driven by social media and influencers and obviously guys being
a little more comfortable with wanting to look good, even
though they're not actually saying it's beauty culture.

Speaker 4 (24:13):
But I'm okay with that.

Speaker 3 (24:15):
Here they are.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
I have different face washes, I have different lotions for
different times of the day and things, and all these products.

Speaker 4 (24:20):
I wouldn't call it beauty. I call it skincare.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
Part of beauty culture.

Speaker 8 (24:25):
Skincare, cuture is the massive umbrella.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
Yeah, okay, skincare, grooming, all of that is part of
beauty culture.

Speaker 4 (24:32):
If you're doing it to look good.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
If you want to call me beautiful, go ahead.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
Kevin, you are divine and gorgeous. Beautiful. Look at that
face just blowing, Zach. Are you ready?

Speaker 8 (24:47):
I'm ready get away from I'm ready, okay.

Speaker 7 (24:50):
So I want to talk about the Super Bowl coming
up next Sunday, and so apparently, according to finance Buzz,
if you're hosting a party for ten people for the
Big Game, it'll cost you on average one hundred and
sixty seven dollars, which is seven point two percent more
expensive than last year. They're saying chicken wings alone will
set you back thirty nine dollars for enough to feed
ten people, and then of course you're gonna pay more.

Speaker 8 (25:11):
For a beer and chips too.

Speaker 7 (25:12):
But then my mind started going, like what do you
expect when you go to like a Super Bowl party? Like,
what is the one food you're looking forward too?

Speaker 2 (25:19):
Okay, so mind's buffalo chicken dip, ny cauliflower wings.

Speaker 4 (25:24):
I'm a vegetarian.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
I don't expect that anywhere.

Speaker 8 (25:28):
I mean, you can.

Speaker 4 (25:28):
Still have keeso, yeah, for sure, for sure.

Speaker 3 (25:31):
All right, keV, it's your turn. What do you got
for us?

Speaker 2 (25:33):
I have a list of disgusting habits that people secretly
think are one hundred percent normal. I'm gonna run if
you buy you guys and see if you do them right.
Smelling your armpits to see if you stink. Yeah, I
do that all time, all the time.

Speaker 4 (25:46):
This is a gross one to me.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
But licking your wrists and then smelling it to see
if your bread stinks, I've never done.

Speaker 8 (25:52):
I've never heard of that.

Speaker 4 (25:53):
I've heard it.

Speaker 8 (25:53):
Like breathing into your hands.

Speaker 4 (25:55):
This is totally normal to me.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
Eating over the sink like a raccoon when you don't
want to wash a plate.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
Oh yeah, all the time.

Speaker 3 (26:01):
I'll put things on literal pieces of napkins and paper towels,
so I don't have to watch every.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
Day licking chip dust off your fingers all the time
and licking the ice cream lid.

Speaker 3 (26:14):
I don't think I've ever done that.

Speaker 4 (26:15):
Like, I never even thought about that.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
I was gonna say, I can't say I haven't thought
about it, but I don't think I've actually done it.

Speaker 4 (26:20):
There were more over here, but they're so disgusting. I'm
just not even gonna I.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
Don't want to know if we've done them.

Speaker 4 (26:26):
That concludes The Left.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
Nashville's number one hip music station. January has been the
longest month to ever exist in the history of humanity.

Speaker 8 (26:35):
It literally feels like it's been at least a decade.

Speaker 3 (26:37):
It feels that way every year, but this year especially
feels long, and I think everybody can relate to that.
Today's daily double tap on one of seven five of
the River is all about that.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
Basically, just a woman sitting in her car coming to
the realization that the exact thing that Ricky just said,
here we go here.

Speaker 3 (26:53):
It's still January. It's still January. Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
The end there's her kind of like burying her face
into a sweatshirt, and screaming.

Speaker 7 (27:09):
I feel that video on a spiritual level because I
feel like I do that.

Speaker 8 (27:12):
Every day, Like, how is it still January? What's happening?

Speaker 3 (27:16):
Screaming feels good too, it does.

Speaker 8 (27:17):
You gotta let it out.

Speaker 3 (27:18):
We gotta scream sometimes, Like.

Speaker 4 (27:21):
Do some quick math.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
Here, thirty nine hours left in January, so it's a
winding down and maybe because we're all doing dry January
over here, it feels a little extra long to us.

Speaker 4 (27:31):
But you know, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
The snowstorm didn't help. There's a lot news.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
Yeah, there's just there's so much everything.

Speaker 3 (27:39):
Not everything can fit in one month.

Speaker 4 (27:41):
Yeah, my god.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
So if you want to scream into a sweatshirt today,
you are not alone.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
Ricky, Zach and Mannow in the morning.
