Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Here we go just getting things started on this Thursday morning.
Good morning, Thank you for joining us. Ricky's got those
three things.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
TMZ has received another ransom note connected to Nancy Guthrie,
Savannah Guthrie's mom who's gone missing. TMZ got a new
ransom email demanding a sum that was similar to the
earlier six million dollar requests that they got as a
ransom This time, though it's tied to a different cryptocurrency account.
The message allegedly threatens pretty graphic consequences if the payment's

(00:31):
not made. TMZ did turn that email over to the FBI.
The FBI has reached out to Mexican authorities as they're
worried that Nancy may have been taken across the border,
though they've examined border patrol camera footage and other electronic
data and they have not uncovered any significant breakthroughs as
of right now. I truly cannot imagine what Savannah Guthrie

(00:54):
and her entire family is going through right now. This
has been such a scary, scary situation. I'll keep you
updated with information as it comes out. Allegiant Airlines has
created its first Dolly parton themed flight event is what
they're calling it. They're doing a fan flight which is
going to be a standard trip that's turned into a

(01:15):
Dolly part In celebration. So flight nine two five A
hat get It from Orlando from Orlando Sanford International Airport
on Friday November sixth, twenty twenty six, is going to
head to East Tennessee and it's.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Going to have themed food, drinks.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
There's going to be gate celebrations, live entertainment, in flight,
trivia contest, everything Dolly themed. Passengers who have park tickets
to go to Dollywood are also going to get an
exclusive behind the scenes experience at Dollywood the day after
they land. So, like I said, first time they're doing
this love the idea kind of makes the monotonous.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
Flight situation a little more exciting.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Obviously, you're also going to know what you're getting into
prior to getting on the flight, so it's not really
like random people who are gonna be like, what's going
on here? Why is everybody screaming? And what is this
trivia contest happening?

Speaker 4 (02:07):
I just want to sleep.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
It's literally all for Dolly Parton, huge fans, for them
to come together and do something fun. The National Zoo
has Welcome to New Bird. It's a Victoria crowned pigeon.
It's native to New Guinea. The species is the largest
of pigeons. It's named in honor of Queen Victoria. And
it's literally the fanciest pigeon I've ever seen.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
In my life.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
I got to look it up. I gotta look it up.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
It is the fanciest pigeon ever. Don't worry.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
I'm gonna post a picture on the River's Instagram stories
that you can see it.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
It just it screams class. This pigeon.

Speaker 6 (02:40):
It kind of has like peacock feathers coming off its head.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
Tell me it's the fanciest pigeon you've ever seen.

Speaker 6 (02:44):
I hate birds, and I think this is cute.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
I mean it's beautiful, like beautiful.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
I'm rick Sanchas and those are the three things you
need to know.

Speaker 5 (02:51):
Oh, we have one of those pigeons. I gotta go
see it. That's awesome. Thank you, Ricky, appreciate it. Let's play,
Miles Smith. Don't forget. We've got your Tam and Paula
and Joe tickets.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
That's we've got for the first collar all week. You
can win them within ten minutes on the rig.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Ricky is Zach and Nnno in the morning on the river.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
I'll say good morning to Nanfa in Nashville. Good morning,
Namfa morning. What are you doing right now? Are you
on your way to work?

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Yes, I'm driving.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
Okay, what do you do, Nanpa? Tell us everything.

Speaker 6 (03:20):
I've been a.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Cash here for home my life twenty years.

Speaker 6 (03:25):
We're at it.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
It's a dry cleaners.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Probably everybody knows that NS for cleaners. Oh yeah, I
used to work at a dry cleaner at one point.
I worked there in the brutal hot summers and we
did not have any air conditioning at mine.

Speaker 6 (03:41):
Miserable.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
It was really really hot.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Yes, extreme.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
Yeah, it's like I don't know, really, it's just a
little better.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
But yeah, see us at Hard World.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
Yeah, it's a lot of work and it's it's definitely
hard work.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Nampa. You said you've been doing it for twenty years.

Speaker 7 (03:58):
Yes, okay, wow.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
Good thanks are you, Napa. I have not been able
to keep a job that long.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
Oh, that's a long time. Same here.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
They never fire me.

Speaker 7 (04:06):
I don't know why, so I I.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
That's fantastic because you're a good worker. Nava. You're on
your way to work. We hope you have a fantastic day.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
We want to start it off right by saying that
you're getting these tickets to see Tam and Paula and
Joe at Bridgeton Arena on August fourth.

Speaker 7 (04:22):
Thank you, thank you, thank you so much. It's gonna
be great. My daughter is seventeen, so I'm planning to
saw with her.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
Oh, you guys are going to have the best time.
That is so cool.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Tag us and some pictures and the two of you go.
Thank you for starting your day with us over here
at the river, Napa.

Speaker 5 (04:38):
We appreciate it.

Speaker 7 (04:39):
Thank you you.

Speaker 8 (04:40):
I always listen to you on my way to work
and my work and I enjoy it for so many years.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Oh, thank you so much for listening, Papa. That's so sweet.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Thank you guys.

Speaker 7 (04:52):
Have a great day.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Okay, you two.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
Hang on the line though.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
Okay, we got to get some info from you to
make sure you get these tickets.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
All right, Yes, awesome?

Speaker 2 (05:00):
And everybody else, uh yeah, you have another chance tomorrow.
But also go see nampuot Nashville Cleaners.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Yes, go, sae Hi.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Even if you don't know anything dry clean, just take something,
take your just take anything.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Yeah, Ricky is, Zach and Mano in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
On seven five The River, Good morning, thank you for
starting your Thursday with us. I have a movie recommendation,
a movie I don't normally do this, but a movie
that I have now watched two days in a row.

Speaker 4 (05:26):
I'm a little nervous. I know.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Zach's probably more nervous than I am, because while Kevin
and I can align on some movies.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
Zach hates anything he recommends.

Speaker 6 (05:34):
Every time Kevin has recommended me something I watched like
the first hour and was like, this is awful.

Speaker 5 (05:40):
Your taste is awful.

Speaker 6 (05:41):
Man, No, your taste is awful.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Okay, all right, we'll see what this is, and we'll
let Kevin defend himself for his honor when it comes
to recommending movies.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Right after the saw Ricky is, Zach and Mano in
the Morning on seven five.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
In the sense that things are going to get a
little heated here in the one of seven five of
the River Studio, because Kevin wants to suggest a movie.
Kevin loves to watch movies. He loves to suggest movies
to us. He doesn't do it often on air, but
he likes to do it with us, and Uh, Zach
hates his taste in movies.

Speaker 6 (06:14):
It's very interesting choices that you make. Kevin.

Speaker 5 (06:17):
Well, your taste in TV and movies is very much you.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
And I didn't.

Speaker 5 (06:21):
I don't ever, I don't say any negative about.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
It, you know. I like how you phrased that, Kevin,
you say you you.

Speaker 6 (06:27):
Also just said I don't say anything negative about it,
as you previously said that I have awful taste in movies.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
That was negative.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Okay, Well, just to clarify, Kevin suggested that Zach watches
Return to Oz, obviously a really weird movie if you've
ever like, it's hallucinating the entire time. And Zach's favorite
movie of all time is Norbit, So they both have
a point when it comes to this. But Kevin, what
is the movie that you were suggesting everybody.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
Has to watch?

Speaker 5 (06:52):
Well, Ricky, it's a suggestion I got from you.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
First, I watched Pogonia So Good, which is a relatively
new movie. I watched it on airplane we flew out
to Massachusetts to surprise my.

Speaker 5 (07:03):
Wife's mom for a birthday.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Never mind side story, I watched it on the plane
by myself flying back. Okay, I watched the movie by myself,
and then I loved it so much that I told
my wife. I was like, oh my god, we should
watch it. So we watched it again the next night,
which was last night. And yeah, I mean, I've watched
it two days in a row now, and I think
it's a fantastic movie and that.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
We're held up the second time.

Speaker 6 (07:21):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
It was almost better the second time because I was
watching it through, you know, different eyes, knowing how it
all wraps up.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
It's a really good movie. Highly suggest I watched it
with my fiance and I was like, Kevin would love
this movie. And I had to tell you about about
it without actually giving too much away because it's a
weird movie.

Speaker 5 (07:39):
It's a very weird movie.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
So if you're into.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Movies that make you kind of wonder and think a
little bit, I think this is the movie for you.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
And Zach, I'll say the first probably the first hour
honestly is a little bit slow, but then like Act
three is where it really pops.

Speaker 6 (07:52):
How long is this thing is?

Speaker 2 (07:53):
The first hour is so slow, it's almost two hours long.

Speaker 6 (07:57):
Oh no, I'm out.

Speaker 5 (07:58):
Yeah, no chance you're to watch this movie.

Speaker 6 (08:01):
Absolutely not. I watched the trailer and I was like,
that's interesting for someone else.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
I mean, I think it's up for a bunch of
awards and stuff, right, but the Oscar's coming up, so
uh yeah, if you wanna, if you want to prep
before the Oscars, go watch Pogonia.

Speaker 5 (08:16):
It's great. It's Jesse Plemons and him a Stone. It's
so good.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
You gotta tell us what you think about it, though,
because if we can convince Zach to watch it, I
think that's a huge win.

Speaker 8 (08:24):
Well.

Speaker 6 (08:24):
I was like mildly interested because I knew that it
was like up for a lot of awards, and I
was like, oh, I feel like I actually want to
watch something, so I know what they're talking about. But
now that Kevin said the first hour so slow.

Speaker 5 (08:36):
That's so slow. It's just you know, the action comes later.

Speaker 6 (08:39):
I'm gonna fall asleep.

Speaker 4 (08:41):
He hates your recommendations.

Speaker 6 (08:43):
I would rather watch like an episode one thousand Pounds Sisters.

Speaker 5 (08:46):
That's your favorite TV show. Of course you'd rather watch this.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
Okay, all right, So there's a suggestion for zacking, a
suggestion from Ricky and I Bogonia.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
Go watch it. Zach's not going to Three things you
need to know.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Just past seven o'clock here on this Thursday morning. Thank
you for starting your day with us. Ricky Sanchez has
those three things.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Singer and actress McKenna Grace is going to play Daphne
in the new Scooby Doo live action Netflix series. So
Netflix picked up the show for eight episodes in March
of twenty twenty five, and it's being described as a
modern reimaging of the popular cartoon show. So McKenna grace
is going to star as young Daphne Blake in the show,
which is going to focus on mystery inc The whole gang,

(09:27):
how they first met each other, the origin story. Essentially,
this is going to be her return to playing Daphne
because she voiced the young version of the character in
the animated film Scoob in twenty twenty, so she already
kind of has an idea of how to do this,
and I'm really excited for it because I think McKenna
grace is adorable.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
She was at River on the roof top.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
She was, Indeed, she was, Indeed, she is very sweet.
So check it out when it comes out.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
We don't know exactly when they're going to release it
on Netflix, so I will keep you updated Nashville's Warner
Parks remain closed right now. They have thousands of trees
still down after the ice storm. Metro National Parks and
Recreations said that about six thousand trees remain downed or
destroyed across the city's park system. About two thousand of
those trees are in the Edwin and Percy Warner Parks.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
They have a bunch of people, nine tree crews.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
With one hundred and twenty five employees that are working
on cutting and piling trees throughout National's park systems.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
It's just it's taking some time.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
They haven't determined an estimate for when the parks will
be reopened, but just something to keep in mind, if
you know, as the days start to get nicer, today's
going to be warmer, but still kind of gloomy, but
we're getting closer to the warmer weather. So something to
keep in mind if you wanted to go out and
adventure out to different parks.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
And you're not alone.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
If you're getting scam messages, because nearly half of Americans
are getting them daily.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
Nearly a quarter have lost money.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
To a financial scam in the last three years, and
only thirty six percent of them actually got those funds back.
The average amount lost was one nine hundred and seventeen dollars,
which is a lot of money. Worse than that, eighty
percent of the people that were pulled for this, they
said AI has made it harder for them.

Speaker 4 (11:07):
To detect if it's a scam. So just something to
keep in mind.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
If you're getting those scam messages daily, you gotta double, triple,
quadruple check these things just to make sure that they're
real and they're not fake, because the majority of them
are fake.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
I'm Rick Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.

Speaker 5 (11:22):
Thank you for that, Ricky. That's so infuriating. It drives
me insane.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
Oh my god, I hated so much.

Speaker 5 (11:26):
Maybe help if you have like older parents or something
in your life.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
Maybe now always makes me so nervous.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
Convey this information to them. You never know who to trust.
All right, here's Leon Thomas. You can trust Zach. That's
what you can trust. He's gonna teach us all right.

Speaker 5 (11:38):
After the song, it's time for Zack's backs. We're learning together.
Next on the river.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Class is in sessions Sacks fact on one.

Speaker 6 (11:48):
So I know a lot of people that drink coca
Cola go to McDonald's because they're like, there's just something
about it, and it just hits way better. Apparently, the
Coca cola s here, if that's delivered to McDonald's, is
delivered in a stainless steel tank that ensures its freshness,
versus every other restaurant they get it in like plastic bags.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
WHOA, So this is all true when people say that
that there's something there.

Speaker 6 (12:09):
It's legitimately better because it's delivered in like a stainless
steel container instead of a plastic bag.

Speaker 4 (12:13):
It's extra staticky.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
I don't really drink soda, so I just have to
take your word for it. But now I always kind
of assume people were just not truthful.

Speaker 5 (12:20):
But it sounds like you're healthy.

Speaker 6 (12:23):
Oh well, there's your fact of the day.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
It brought to you by Mark san Real Estate, Ricky
Zach and Menno in the morning on what are the.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
Adult tasks that you just don't know how to do?
They might be simple, they might seem easy. No judgment here.
I can't sort my mail properly. I'm really bad.

Speaker 5 (12:41):
What do you mean by sorting your mail?

Speaker 3 (12:43):
It just all piles up on my counter and I
don't I don't look at any of it and put
it where it's supposed to go.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Like so you don't like throw away junk mail right
when you get it or anything. You just kind of
let it all home.

Speaker 4 (12:52):
I don't look at my bills, nothing.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
It all just piles up until one day, months later,
I go, oh, this is really fi.

Speaker 6 (12:58):
This gives me so much anxiety.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
This is a really high pile. I should do something
about this.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
Six seven three seven nine, one o seven. What adult
tasks can you not do? We all have them, Like
Ricky said, we are not gonna judge.

Speaker 5 (13:10):
Let us know what yours are.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
It's one O seven five the river, seven five the River.

Speaker 8 (13:15):
Ricky, Zach and manow in the morning.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
We're talking about the adult things that you just can't do.
We're not gonna judge. Ricky said she can't stay on
top of her mail, and honestly, Ricky, I can relate
because mine is my email, my inbox. I never delete
a single thing. I just have thousands. Uh, Virginia and Franklin, Kentucky.

Speaker 5 (13:31):
What is it for you?

Speaker 4 (13:32):
Coming up with meals to make for supper every night?

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (13:35):
My god, the most frustrating thing to do. How do
I know what I'm gonna want to eat on Monday.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
It's Thursday, exactly, I will say.

Speaker 6 (13:43):
Makes it worse. Yes, I say this all of the time,
like I never went, I didn't ask to be here.

Speaker 5 (13:48):
Number two, Now I have to feed.

Speaker 6 (13:50):
Myself all of the time. Like this is exhausted me?
Why this is exhausting?

Speaker 4 (13:56):
It is?

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Yeah, I don't even try, and I'm I'm proud about that.
I don't know how to cook and I don't really cook.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
Kevin never does.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
Kevin didn't know how to use his own stove when
I stayed at.

Speaker 5 (14:07):
It was a very confusing stove. It was foreign, and
I still don't know how to do it.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
Virginia.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
Bottom line here is that you are not alone.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
Thanks for calling in love. We hope you have a
great day. Bye.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
I would also put on my list. I don't know
any roads. I just follow my GPS.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
Okay, Yeah that's a lost r. I feel like my
parents had to know all of the roads. My dad
still gives detailed directions.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
That I midway through.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
Go.

Speaker 4 (14:38):
I don't know what you just said to you. Yeah,
you're gonna have to repeat yourself.

Speaker 6 (14:41):
I'm lost.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
When people are like yeah, I'm just I live behind oak.
I'm like, oh, okay, cool, love.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
To hear it. Zach, what's that thing for you?

Speaker 3 (14:50):
Because I know there's got to be something for you
that you just can't manage to do.

Speaker 6 (14:53):
Making the bed like, I'm just not good at it.
And it's like the fitted sheet. I fight with it
and it's just like an argument between me and the
sheet in the bedroom. It's just I can't do it.

Speaker 3 (15:04):
Picturing Zach screaming at his footage sheet really just brought
last night.

Speaker 6 (15:09):
I'm so traumatized.

Speaker 8 (15:12):
Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning.

Speaker 5 (15:15):
Seven five the River and it's time to play the
game of the day. It's game time, Baby and Zach.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
The game this week is called all Aboard.

Speaker 5 (15:24):
It's very good, buddy, Thank you.

Speaker 6 (15:26):
I've been practicing a boat captain.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
We're giving away spots inside of our Harry Styles listening
party on the Harry Ferry. We're turning the General Jackson
show Boat into the Harry Ferry.

Speaker 5 (15:36):
It's going to be a.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Listening party and while there, somebody is winning a trip
to New York to see Harry Styles.

Speaker 5 (15:42):
It doesn't get bigger than that.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
If you want to play the game six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
one oh seven.

Speaker 5 (15:47):
It's boat trivia, things related.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
To boats and ships and like movies and TV music,
all that stuff regarding boats. If you want to play,
you need to get two out of three of the
questions right, and it's time to call six one, five, seven, three,
seven nine all the board.

Speaker 8 (16:02):
We're playing next, Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the Morning,
five the River.

Speaker 5 (16:09):
It's Ricky, Zach and Mannow in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
It's time for Kevin Mano's Game of the Day, brought
to you by Genesis Diamonds.

Speaker 5 (16:14):
Tyler and Lebanon is on the phone. Good morning, my friend.

Speaker 6 (16:18):
Hey, good morning.

Speaker 3 (16:19):
How are you all today?

Speaker 5 (16:20):
We're good, Yeah, no complaints over here. What are you
up to? You're onna way to work or school?

Speaker 6 (16:24):
I am on my way to the gym to stop
off the daughter at school. Just trying to get on
the normal routine. Oh, to the gym right and early.
I'm proud of you friends.

Speaker 4 (16:33):
Hey.

Speaker 6 (16:33):
Thanks. You know, it's a good New Ys resolution to
have and luckily kind of stuck with it.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
Yeah, that's great, that's great. What time do you have
to be at work or whatever you got.

Speaker 5 (16:40):
Going on today?

Speaker 6 (16:42):
I go to work at night, so no one's got
three pm.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Oh oh okay, well cool, glad you get that workout
in early. Dude, you are calling for the game of
the day. All aboard is the name of it. It's
to get yourself into our Hairy Styles listening party aboard
the General Jackson showboat.

Speaker 5 (16:57):
It's our hairy faery.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
And once you're there, if you win, you could potentially
win a trip to New York to see Harry Styles.

Speaker 6 (17:04):
Well that sounds super starry.

Speaker 5 (17:05):
It is super exciting.

Speaker 8 (17:06):
Man.

Speaker 5 (17:06):
You got to get two out of three of these questions.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
Right, boat Trivia, Tyler, Your game starts right now.

Speaker 5 (17:14):
In Finding Nemo, the Young Sea creatures refer to a
boat as what.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
The butt?

Speaker 5 (17:24):
Yeah? It is all right, nice job, you get this
one right?

Speaker 4 (17:28):
You win?

Speaker 2 (17:28):
What Bravo TV show follows the lives of several yacht
crew members.

Speaker 5 (17:41):
I have no idea, You have no idea?

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Okay, no, no guests, you want to just throw out
any series of words.

Speaker 7 (17:48):
Just speak your life for the yacht people.

Speaker 5 (17:52):
I wish that's what it was called. What a great
title that would be. No, it's below Deck.

Speaker 6 (17:57):
One of my favorite shows.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
All right, Well, final question here, you get this, you win.
You don't get this, we say goodbye. What iconic band
saying about living in a yellow submarine?

Speaker 6 (18:12):
The yellow submarine?

Speaker 5 (18:13):
Yellow submarine?

Speaker 8 (18:16):
Is that on the Beatle?

Speaker 5 (18:17):
That is the beat Nice job you win?

Speaker 6 (18:21):
Hey, great way?

Speaker 2 (18:24):
Yeah, man, congratulations, you're gonna join us on the Harry Faery.
It's General Jackson Show about it's our Harry Styles listening
party and that brings you one step closer to winning
a trip to New York to see Harry Styles.

Speaker 6 (18:36):
Yeah, it's super excited. Thank you all so much.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
A bit past eight o'clock here on this Thursday morning,
Ricky Sanchez has us three things.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
Rumor has it Taylor Swift is going to be at
the brit Awards. So the Brits is scheduled for February
twenty eighth in Manchester, England, and apparently Taylor and an
entourage have landed in London. A source claimed quote Taylor
is hiding out in London at the moment and it's
scheduled to visit Manchester, which seems like she could be
lined up for a surprise appearance at the brit Awards,
which would obviously be very awesome to see The Fate

(19:07):
of Aphilia is nominated for Best International Songs, so it
kind of makes sense.

Speaker 4 (19:12):
But only time will tell. We'll see what happens.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
Tennessee, drivers caught holding their phones are looking at a
possibility of increased penalties. So this isn't actually confirmed just yet,
but there's a bill making its way through General Assembly
that would make fines more expensive for anybody caught on
their phones while driving.

Speaker 4 (19:29):
So under the hands free Tennessee law right now, the
first time that.

Speaker 3 (19:32):
You're caught holding your phone, there's a fifty dollars fine
and a ten dollars court fee.

Speaker 4 (19:36):
But the Senate Bill fifteen ninety one.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
Wants to change that, upping the costs obviously, to make
it so that you don't hold your phone while you're driving,
you can't be distracted while driving. Obviously that's not helping anybody.
We already have terrible traffic here, so this is just
making it worse. I will let you know if that
is actually approved and goes through and what you're looking
at when it comes to your fines. And if you

(20:00):
doing laundry you feel like it's never ending.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
You're not alone.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
According to a new survey, nearly half of Americans spend
more than three hours a week washing, folding, and putting
away laundry. It's also one of the least favorite chores.
Fifty four percent of responding said that it's one of
their top annoyances, and twenty one percent said that it's
the chore they'd never want to do again.

Speaker 5 (20:20):
I kind of like it. I'm alone there.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
I don't you have to like it, though, Kevin. You
do laundry every single day, don't you.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
I do for all four of us in our household,
and it gives me like a little alone time. I'm
just in our laundry room. You know, nobody's in there
bugging me.

Speaker 5 (20:33):
It's it's nice.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
Okay, that's crazy. I'm Ricky Sanchez. And those are the
three things you need to know.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
One oh seven five the.

Speaker 8 (20:40):
River, Ricky Zach and mannow in the morning.

Speaker 3 (20:42):
What strange tradition did you marry into? It's Ricky Zach
and Mano in the morning on one O seven five.

Speaker 4 (20:48):
Of the river.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
There are just some really interesting ones out there, and
sometimes you don't realize what you're marrying into until you
marry into it.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
Yeah, yeah, Kevin, I was in Malachusetts for a few
days with my wife's family. They all live there, and
there's some things that aren't bizarre, like we whenever we
get together, we play poker at night and that's fun.

Speaker 5 (21:08):
And this is also fun.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
I enjoyed this one, but it struck me as how
strange it is that my wife's brother he'll travel wherever
we're going to meet up with his Nintendo sixty four,
old gaming system.

Speaker 5 (21:21):
From when we were all kids.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
I love that, and we play Mario Party for hours,
and this is something. We're in our forties now and
I've been to Ali for almost fifteen years, and this
is something we do every single year. He brings his
Nintendo sixty four and we play.

Speaker 5 (21:34):
Mario Party all night, every night. That's what we do.
And now the kids are involved and they're.

Speaker 4 (21:39):
Playing, and that's cute. It is.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
I don't dislike this tradition, but it struck me as
like this.

Speaker 5 (21:44):
Is just what we do.

Speaker 6 (21:45):
Like he travels with the super old gaming system, I'm like,
so strange. Like a specific case that he has for
his Nintendo sixty four, because he sounds like a very
proud owner of his end sixty.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
Four is a paper bag from the grocery store. There's
wires sticking out of the controllers.

Speaker 4 (22:02):
Listen, they used to make things last a lot longer.
He could probably slam that thing into the wall.

Speaker 6 (22:06):
It would still work.

Speaker 5 (22:07):
Yeah, exactly, Ricky.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Does AJ's family do anything Okay, okay, yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
We're not even married yet, and I already know what
I'm getting myself into. Every Christmas, we sing the twelve
Days of Christmas, and it's a very specific process. Everyone's
got to dig their hand into a stocking or a
bag and pull out an ornament and whatever number is
on that ornament, that is the number that.

Speaker 4 (22:28):
You have to sing. And then there are specific people
who have specific parts.

Speaker 5 (22:32):
It's a whole, very detailed shift.

Speaker 6 (22:34):
So like if you pulled out the ornament and it
said ten, when it got to ten, you would have
to sing the ten words a leaping yes.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
Okay, yeah, so nobody wants nobody wants one or two?

Speaker 4 (22:44):
Yeah, no, you want ten. If you get ten, you're like, oh,
this is a wink for me. I get to watch
everybody else sing until it gets to me.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
It's it's a thing and it's interesting, and I'm at
the point now where I kind of like it. But
it's a Christmas now since I don't love Christmas six seven,
three seven nine seven.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
If your significant other, uh, their family does something bizarre
tradition that.

Speaker 5 (23:07):
You just weren't aware of until you were you were
too deep in it.

Speaker 8 (23:09):
Let us know, Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
Talking about family traditions that you married into. You were
unaware until it was too late that the family does something.

Speaker 5 (23:23):
Lauren in spring Hill, do you have one?

Speaker 7 (23:25):
Yeah? So, actually, this isn't something that I'm married into.
It's just a weird tradition that my family has and
that now my boyfriend has to deal with. So what
happens is on Christmas Day, we don't open up all
of the presents in the morning. We actually do wanted

(23:47):
to every hour and it makes Christmas last all day.
So we'll usually start with like a stocking, and then
we'll all have breakfast together and then we open up
like one to two presents pretty much every hour that
we would get to just enjoy the gifts that we
got from whoever it was, and just spend time together.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
Yeah, I like that.

Speaker 5 (24:05):
Are there any really little kids in the mix.

Speaker 7 (24:07):
So I have a son now who's too And we
did it for the first time with him this year,
and he honestly, he loved it because he got to
just sit and play with, you know, the toys that
he got.

Speaker 6 (24:19):
I feel like this is perfect for children. It keeps
them like entertained all day long. I'm like, don't worry, Budy,
we get know, like we're gonna open more presents later.
I feel like you can bribe them to be on
their best behavior.

Speaker 7 (24:29):
Oh my gosh, yes, absolutely, Lauren, thank.

Speaker 4 (24:33):
You for calling in. We appreciate you. Have a great day.

Speaker 7 (24:36):
Thank you you too, bye bye.

Speaker 5 (24:38):
I do like that.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
I mean the the dump of adrenaline and stuff. After
the kids open presence, it's like, now, what do we
do all day?

Speaker 5 (24:45):
Like, it's just it's over so quickly.

Speaker 6 (24:47):
They can go play with their toys.

Speaker 4 (24:49):
That's what you do. Yeah, I thought that's how it works.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
Nope, I don't have kids, I Zach, what's that weird
thing that your boyfriend's family does for Chris.

Speaker 6 (25:00):
Honestly, it's kind of insane to me because, like you know,
Christmas morning, usually the first thing that you open is
your stocking. No, his family saves it for New Year's Day.
So we have Christmas on Christmas Day and then on
New Year's Day, we go back over and we open
all of our stockings.

Speaker 4 (25:15):
What's too much Christmas for me? I'm sorry, I can't.

Speaker 6 (25:17):
They like extend it the entire week, and I'm like,
are we done yet?

Speaker 2 (25:21):
That's crazy? Are there like big ticket items in these stockings?

Speaker 6 (25:25):
Last year I got like a Lulu Limon gift card,
so yeah, what's good.

Speaker 5 (25:29):
I was excited about him.

Speaker 8 (25:32):
Ricky, Zach and Mannow in the morning.

Speaker 5 (25:35):
It's time for the daily double tap.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
We play some audio from a video that one of
us finds every day about this time. And Zach found
this because this is Zach.

Speaker 6 (25:43):
It's just like a quick little insight of like what
it's like to be friends with me. It's kind of exhausting.
I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 4 (25:49):
Ricky and I at least you know that.

Speaker 5 (25:51):
Yeah, we can vouch for it that this is exactly
what it's like to be friends with Zach. Here we go.
One thing you should know about me before you become
my friend is I don't suffer in silence.

Speaker 8 (26:00):
I suffer an HD.

Speaker 5 (26:01):
If I've got a problem, You've got a problem. Now,
I'm sorry, but that's okay because that's called friendship.

Speaker 8 (26:07):
But don't worry. You'll never be guessing like, oh, how's
Joel feeling. You'll know about it.

Speaker 5 (26:11):
Oh you'll know about it.

Speaker 8 (26:13):
See.

Speaker 6 (26:13):
I feel like I'm kind of actually helping you because
now you never have to question, like what's going through
my head? How am I feeling? Because I am a
constant over a sharer, So you know everything.

Speaker 5 (26:24):
Thank you.

Speaker 6 (26:24):
Sure you're we're.

Speaker 4 (26:26):
Gonna We're gonna go ahead and.

Speaker 6 (26:27):
Go with that.

Speaker 5 (26:28):
I mean, there's be something healthy about it.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
Like I'm a verse to a conflict in any way,
so I just bottle everything up. You're just living outlone man,
and it's probably healthier.

Speaker 6 (26:38):
Just letting me know how I feel. If I get mad,
you know, real quick.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the
river
