Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Way well, well, good morning, just after six o'clock here
on this Monday, the second of February. We finally made
it out of January, and Ricky Sanchez has those three things.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Multiple school districts in and around Nashville are still closed
today due to the winter storm and cold weather feel.
The schools closed through today are Metro Nashville, Dixon County,
Williamson and Wilson County Schools. Make sure that you have
your alerts ready for school closures and that you are
on any list that you need to be on, because honestly,

(00:31):
I don't know when they're going back, guys. The plan
seems to be as of right now for tomorrow. But
I know that there are some schools that have areas
that don't have power, and they're worried about their kids
that don't have power at their homes. There's a lot
going on here, so just make sure that you have
your alerts ready so you know what's going on. A

(00:53):
Noah com documentary is coming to Netflix. We have no
specific date just yet, but it is expected globally by
the end of this year, so we're gonna get it
this year at some point. The film is gonna document
his life after his huge success of his album Six Season.
It's going to feature performances of sold out tours, him

(01:14):
working on new music, also him going back to his
Vermont roots. He's from Vermont, so him going back and
dealing with family, as he quote navigates deeply personal struggles.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
That's cool, the person deeply person.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
I know what you're saying, but he's doing this. Yes. Absolutely.
His next album, The Great Divide, comes out April twenty fourth,
so I think we can expect it either sometime around
that or after the album, I believe. And a list
of the top ten cities with the most annoying drivers
is out In Nashville, we're not in a good spot here.

(01:48):
A consumer advocacy group surveyed drivers in forty of the
largest US cities and found out where the most irritating
behaviors happen most often. Here are the top five Miami, Florida,
Las Vegas, Nevada, Nashville, Tennessee, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and New Orleans, Louisiana.
So that's where the most annoying drivers are. I think

(02:10):
everybody who's on the road right now is probably like, oh,
it's not so bad. Give it about ten more minutes
when everybody fluffs yeah, roads and everybody gets on the
highway and you're gonna be like, Yep, this is the
most annoying place to drive right now, Love you, Nashville.
You just can't drive. I'm rick Sanchez and those are
the three things you need to know.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Yeah, top three is not great.

We are all happy to have made it out of January.
We're officially in February dry. January is behind us.

Speaker 7 (03:17):
Is so happy.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Also, January just feels like it's seventy five years. It's
the longest month ever.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
You're right, So I'm.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Excited that it's finally February, a new a new month,
a new hopefully time time, because January is a mess.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
Josh.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Do you have anything to look forward to coming up?
Any trips or anything, vacations anything.

Speaker 8 (03:38):
I just think I haven't warm up so I can
go to the beach.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Yes. I need the sunshine on my face so badly, Josh, Like,
I truly believe that the seasonal changes do bring on
like depression, like sadness, you know what I mean.

Speaker 7 (03:53):
Seasonal depression is a real fan.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
And I hate when it's gloomy and gross outside. I'm
like a different person. So once the sun comes back, Josh, Oh,
it's game over.

Speaker 9 (04:02):
Buckle up, sunburn, you burn really bad? No, I'm ready
for one John screen.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
Yeah, buddy, you need sunscreen. Don't get a sunburn.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Zach loves the sunburn though, He's like, oh, just give
me the burn. I'm like, you were as red as.

Speaker 7 (04:21):
A lobster babes.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Well, Josh, it's not gonna be in summer, but we
do have tickets free. I guess it is summer June,
so yeah, summertime, June ninth. If you have no plans,
you can't go to the beach now because you're gonna
go see Charlie Pooth instead at a sad amphitheater.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Awesome, I'll be that right after it.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Yeah, that's a nice day. That would be right the
beach and then a concert.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
Why not exactly?

Speaker 2 (04:46):
That's like giving you a hope right now is looking
forward to a nice outdoor show in June.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Oh, congratulations, shots hay im a lot. Okay, yeah, I think.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
Who do you say is opening for Charlie Pooth at
this Show's.

Speaker 7 (04:59):
Lawrence and.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
Salort? Correct, Okay, I'm not familiar with them.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
But Pooth and Slort together at last, Pouth and Slurt.

Speaker 7 (05:08):
Some lord.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
That's really not even how you say the names s
A L O R T.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
The Lord Lot, yeah, so and the Lord but the
Loort perfect.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
It's a great way of saying that the Lord reference
mar ticket to see Pooth and Salort tomorrow morning.

Speaker 5 (05:23):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
On Guys Zach over here has had a rough run
the last few weeks. I don't know what kind of
bad juju you got going on, but I need you
to stay away from me. It's Ricky, Zach and Mano
in the morning on one O seven five the river.
Not only did you lose your power and not have
power for about five six days, it was six days.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
It was rough.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Now you got your power back. Your hyped as hell
that you got your power back, and I don't blame you.
And then this weekend something else happened to you.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (05:55):
So Friday night, we were headed home from my friend's
birthday party and we were like drive down Broadway literally
going straight, and we had like the green light and
a car was trying to turn left across it oncoming
traffic and they ran the light and so we ta
bone them in the middle.

Speaker 7 (06:10):
Of the intersection. So we were in a car wreck
Friday night.

Speaker 9 (06:14):
Where everybody is fine, They're fine, We're fine, Like the
cars are not the cars are not great.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Which is, you know, annoying, but the best case scenario
and face yeah exactly when I tell you that.

Speaker 7 (06:26):
After like as soon as it happened.

Speaker 9 (06:28):
So I was in the passenger seat and my boyfriend
was driving my car. I did not get out of
the car because I just sat there and cried the
entire time. Buddy, well, yeah, everybody's got one. I'm so
over everything going wrong. And then I was like, I
worked my butt off for this car, and it's like
literally my dream car that I've wanted that I finally got.

(06:51):
And I was like, well, now it's ruined. And so
I just sat there and cried. I was like, now
my dream cars ruined? Like what what does.

Speaker 7 (06:57):
Any of this mean? Even? Like, what's the point?

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Oh wow, asking the big questions?

Speaker 9 (07:01):
Yeah, literally, what's the point of it. So then I
was now I'm like, girl, I don't even care.

Speaker 7 (07:08):
I don't even care.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
That's what the difference of a few days is.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
Though.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
Also, but you don't care, you mean that you've come
to terms with the fact that like this just happens sometimes.

Speaker 9 (07:18):
No, I mean I don't care about anything anymore. Nothing
means anything.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
It's fun over here.

Speaker 9 (07:25):
Literally, It's more, I don't care about having a nice
car anymore.

Speaker 7 (07:29):
I don't care, like it's gonna get ruined either way.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
Honestly, such a freeing experience. Welcome to the class.

Speaker 7 (07:34):
I sound so bitter right now. I don't think so bitter.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
I think you sound realistic. Yeah, I think that that's
a realistic viewpoint.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
I mean, maybe a little negative that viewpoint.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
You know, you still got to try to have a
positive outlook as you move through life and enjoy each day.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
But what's the.

Speaker 7 (07:47):
Point, Kevin, Just something's gonna go wrong.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
Well that's okay, enjoy the positive.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
Wrong and something you go right. It's just kind of
how life works, you know what I mean, Like every
day there's a chance or something good to happen or
the chance for something bad to happen.

Speaker 9 (08:02):
I will say, the most interesting part about the entire
thing is so I called the non emergency like a
police lifer. This is crazy, It's actually insane, because I
was like, I know that the police and the ambulance
and firefighters are all overworked right now.

Speaker 7 (08:15):
They have a lot.

Speaker 9 (08:16):
Going on with the ice and fire like all of that.
So I called the non emergency line and they sent
me like a link that I could do everything online.
So we went home and I filled everything online.

Speaker 7 (08:26):
And I have to mail this in. I have to
mail this paperwork in.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
Which is actually insane that you have to print it
out and mail it. That makes no sense.

Speaker 9 (08:39):
Why do you send me a link of something that
I have to mail. Can I'm not just build it
out online.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
If they have an online system, you'd think you could
just submit it right there.

Speaker 7 (08:46):
No no print it, mail it.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Welcome to nineteen seventy two. Like, what is going on?

Speaker 7 (08:52):
It's really bizarre to me.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
I mean that that one step right there probably prevents
a lot of people from ever even filing it.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
Do we it?

Speaker 5 (08:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (08:59):
That might be why they do it.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
Yeah, which is crazy.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
We're happy, You're okay, man, that is the most important
thing here, and.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
We're all good.

Speaker 7 (09:06):
We're safe.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
Let's still try to hang onto a shred of positivity
because there's a lot.

Speaker 9 (09:10):
Of why Kevin, what's the point while buddy, you're you're
surrounded by people that love you things.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
You give him some time. He's going to be positive again.
He's allowed to be upset right now, what's the point
You're allowed to be upset? He's gonna be fine.

Speaker 9 (09:23):
I have my health, Kevin, do I?

Speaker 3 (09:26):
I mean? Yeah? You have two new hips.

Speaker 7 (09:29):
I have two new hips.

Speaker 9 (09:30):
Okay, I also have health anxiety, so I have fifteen
other diagnoses.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
Made in your head.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
We don't have time for all this. We're just happy,
you're okay.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Zech three things you need to know? All right?

Speaker 2 (09:41):
Just after seven o'clock you're on this Monday morning, Ricky
Sanchez has those three things.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
People are still without power in Middle Tennessee, and NES
has released a new way of tracking how long it'll
take for your area to get power. The latest tally
this morning shows that a NES is reporting a little
over twenty six thousand customers without power to see Electric
is down to one singular customer, Dixon Electric shows no
customers without power, and Try County Electric reports thirty three

(10:08):
without power. You can now check the new tracker on
the NES website to see when your areas should get
power back. Some of these areas and these zip codes
are looking at February ninth as the time that they
will finally get power, which is absolutely insane. I'm gonna
remind you to please keep checking on your neighbors who
don't have power, making sure that they're okay. And I'm

(10:28):
going to remind you again you need to call your
representatives to tell them the impact that the storm has
had on you and your neighbors. Because we need to
do better, We need to be better prepared for winter
weather and all sorts of crazy weather like that here
in Middle Tennessee. And the one way to kind of
get that situated is for your representatives to know the
impact that this has had on you. The idea that
February ninth is going to be when a lot of

(10:51):
people get power back is absolutely insane when you break
it down. And now, I know this is a weird
transition because we're going from something super serious to something
like the Grammys. But the Grammys did happen last night.
Here are some highlights for you. Kendrick Lamar led the
night with five wins, including Record of the Year for
Luther with his collaboration with Sizza. He became the most

(11:12):
awarded hip hop artist in Grammy history last night, which
is really amazing. Another person, another person who made history
last night, Benito the Bad Bunny. Last night, he won
Album of the Year, is the first ever fully Spanish
language winner in the category for de b Treda mos Potos.

(11:32):
It is a huge deal for him, massive, massive moment
for everybody.

Speaker 4 (11:38):
Ricky's a huge fan. If you can't tell, I.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
Love him so much. I'm Puerto Rican. Okay, I'm very
proud to be Puerto Rican. I am proud of Bad Bunny.
I'm proud of Benito. I'm proud of him for making
an album that is entirely about Puerto Rico and his
love for the culture and for the place that he
grew up in and just is so dear to him,
and I'm happy that everybody received it so well, to
the point where he just he made history Album of

(12:02):
the Year fully Spanish language album for that category. It's
never happened before. It's huge deal. Billy Eilish won the
award for Song of the Year for Wildflower, and Olivia
Dean earned Best New Artists, all very deserving a huge
Olivia Dean's fans here on the River and Billy Eilish fans,
so that's massive. Also, National Natives shout out to Napergetzi.

(12:24):
He won Best Comedy Album, so shout out to him.
And TSA's new forty five dollars fee for travelers without
real IDs is here. Okay, starting yesterday, if you don't
have a real ID or a passport or another approved ID,
you're gonna have to pay forty five dollars to get
through security. TSA is going to still let you fly,

(12:44):
but there's a whole nother round of a whole process
to kind of confirm that you are who you are,
and it takes an additional thirty minutes of screening. So
just be aware you're gonna be paying forty five dollars
and it's gonna take you even longer to get through
TSA if you don't have a real ID. Obviously they're
doing this to push you to get your real ID,
just to make life easier for everybody involved. And those

(13:07):
are the three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (13:08):
Thank you, Ricky, and tune in one week from right
now to hear Ricky continue praising Bad Bunny after he
performs at.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
The Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
Ben Double, I'm so excited, guys, I'm so excited.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
Right after Miles Smith.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
We are learning on this Monday morning, Zack's Facts less
than three minutes away.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
On the river, Lass is in sessions Zack's Facts.

Speaker 9 (13:33):
Did you guys know that smells can travel through liquid?
So if you fart in the pool, it still smells
bad Sack?

Speaker 3 (13:39):
What what?

Speaker 9 (13:42):
It's apparently less concentrated, but they can still travel through liquid.
I mean, so I'm just saying, please don't try and
smell underwater.

Speaker 7 (13:49):
You know it's won't like it.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
You're gonna drown. What are you talking about.

Speaker 7 (13:54):
I'm talking about the fact that smells travel through liquid.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Don't love this fact, but yeah, I can confirm. I
field tested this and it's true.

Speaker 7 (14:01):
And there's your fact of the day.

Speaker 5 (14:03):
Thank you, Kevin, Ricky, Is, Zach, and Mano in the morning.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
I promise I love my significant other, but fill in
that blank. We want you to tell on your significant other.
We know that you love them, we know that you're
only slightly judging them with this, but we want to
know the things that make you a little bit crazy.

Speaker 9 (14:22):
I love my boyfriend so much, but I hate when
he choose It drives me absolutely insane.

Speaker 4 (14:27):
That's just a pet peeve of Zack's. He doesn't like
to hear chewing.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Now, living with somebody that is a loud chewer, I
can imagine we drive you nuts.

Speaker 7 (14:34):
They chew yeah, quietly, one.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
River, Ricky, Zach and manow in the morning.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
You're asking you to fill in the blank. I love
my significant other, but we've all got things. I want
to go to the phones, but I also I want Zach.
I don't want to interrupt his flow here because he
kind of kicked this whole thing off, and then during
that song, he continued.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
Zach just went on a tire on a list of
things that make you crazy about a significant other.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Go ahead, tell me, well, I'm so inspired by the
fact that he was driving your car when you guys
got in an accident this weekend.

Speaker 7 (15:08):
No, this all annoyed me prior.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
Okay, this was the chewing thing. You started with chewing.
You said you love him so much, but you hate
when he choose, like I.

Speaker 9 (15:15):
Have to turn on the TV or the radio when
he's when we're eating dinner at the table together because
I cannot stand the sound of him chewing.

Speaker 7 (15:21):
It rives me absolutely insane. Number Two, he cannot.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
Park my car, Like he really can't.

Speaker 7 (15:28):
I can voucher, he can't.

Speaker 9 (15:30):
He's going forward backward for I'm getting whiplash. As he's
trying to park my car in the garage, I'm like,
what are you doing?

Speaker 3 (15:37):
This car has all the censors and the backup. Can
you can imagine? And I can voucher the David cannot
park it?

Speaker 7 (15:45):
What's so bad?

Speaker 3 (15:47):
There are times that I've been like so close to me, like, David,
do you want me to do it?

Speaker 7 (15:51):
Should we just get out already like, I'm done with this.

Speaker 9 (15:54):
And then also whenever he's packing, so he travels a
lot for work, for like work conferences, and so whenever
he's packing, he decides apparently to do it at nine pm,
when I'm already laying in bed, and then.

Speaker 7 (16:05):
He comes in and he's like, how do you feel
about the shirt with these pants?

Speaker 9 (16:08):
I don't care. I literally could care less about what
you're wearing to your work conference. I'm trying to go
to sleep.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
And then, speaking of sleep, you have one more thing
that drives me up?

Speaker 4 (16:19):
The man so loud? Is that a good example of
how he snores? Is that what it's like?

Speaker 7 (16:24):
I slept on the coups last night because he was
snoring so bad.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
Zach did play me back.

Speaker 7 (16:30):
I took a video of him snoring last night.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
So the sounds are actually crazy that come out of
this man's mouth.

Speaker 7 (16:38):
How are you alive?

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Six seven three seven nine seven. If you want to
join this and fill in that bank.

Speaker 7 (16:45):
I left my boyfriend.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
I love my significant other, but Zach could probably keep going.
But now we'll turn it over to you. Zach, do
you before we go to break here, do you want
to say one good thing?

Speaker 4 (16:53):
One thing that you love about David.

Speaker 9 (16:55):
He is gratedt doing the dishes and laundry.

Speaker 7 (17:00):
What that's a good thing?

Speaker 5 (17:02):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
I just want to go ahead and say that I
have no idea what's about to happen next, because Kevin
has not told me what the game of the day
is called. But we are going to play. Yeah for
tickets to see post Malone at Nissan Stadium June thirtieth,
It was just announced. It's gonna be a huge concert.
What is the game of the day?

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Before I tell you the name of the game, I
want to play this little intro. Okay you ready, we
haven't now it's not really an intro.

Speaker 4 (17:28):
Here we go. Just let's let's listen to.

Speaker 6 (17:29):
This Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning. It's game time,
baby boo.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
So we're playing a game called Ghost Malone and it's
gonna be Post Malone songs, lyrics recited by a ghost
and you have to identify the song. You have to
tell us what song is?

Speaker 7 (17:50):
Kevin, I love you so much.

Speaker 9 (17:54):
This is absolutely insane.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
Seven th seven is the number that you're gonna have
to call after you listen to ghosts Malone. We're citing
posts Malone lyrics.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Yeah, so here we go. Here's today's audio clue. If
you know this, you call us, let's go Ghost Malone.

Speaker 6 (18:14):
I know you're scared of the unknown. You don't want
to be alone. I know I always come and go,
but it's out of my control.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
Boo, he says, boo at the end of all of them. Six,
one five, seven, nine, one oh seven. If you know
what song, what Post Malone song? Uh, those lyrics are
from you?

Speaker 4 (18:33):
Let us know.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
You win tickets the first pair of tickets to see them, because,
like Ricky said, the show is just announced.

Speaker 4 (18:37):
Let's go. We're playing the game Ghost Malone.

Speaker 5 (18:39):
It's the River one O seven five.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
The River, Ricky, Zach and Manow in.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
The morning, we're playing Kevin Mano's Game of the Day
presented by Genesis Diamonds on one oh seven five the River.
This week's game is called ghost Malone, and.

Speaker 7 (18:53):
We do a heavy emphasis on Kevin Mano's Game of Day.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
Yeah, he came, he came up with this. It's your
tickets to see Posts Malone and Stadium on June thirtieth.
This is just announced today. Gonna be a great show
gonna be a big show. So the idea here. Explain it, Kevin,
it's your game.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
I'll play the audio clue, Heather. Let's say you're moreay
to Heather. Hi, Heather, Hi, Hi Heather, and Bowling Green
is on the line. I will play the audio clue
for you one more time. But it's Post Malone lyrics
recited by a ghost. So Ghost Malone is the game
we're playing. You heard the clue a second ago, yes,
And do you think you know it? Don't say it yet,
but do you think you know it?

Speaker 6 (19:27):
I think I do.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
All right, here we go today's audio clue, Ghost Malone
one more time.

Speaker 6 (19:32):
I know you're scared of the unknown. You don't want
to be alone. I know I always come and go,
but it's out of my control.

Speaker 3 (19:42):
Bloo ooky, gotta add the boo at the end. How
else will you know that it's a ghost unless the
boo is there?

Speaker 2 (19:48):
Heather for tickets to see Post Malone when he's back
in Nashville in June.

Speaker 4 (19:52):
Name that tune.

Speaker 3 (19:55):
I think it's circles.

Speaker 4 (19:56):
Oh it's not circles.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
No hazard for you, off, I don't know, Yeah you
really thought?

Speaker 4 (20:07):
Well, thanks for calling, Heather, sorry, this didn't work out.

Speaker 5 (20:11):
That's okay, Thank you, guys, We love you.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
We now turned to Sarah Collin from SMYRNA.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
Sarah, can you name that tune?

Speaker 5 (20:20):
Sunflower?

Speaker 8 (20:24):
Wait?

Speaker 9 (20:25):
Sarah, can you say sunflower and like your best spooky voice.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
I know you're scared of thee Yeah right.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
Congratulations, this is really the first pair of tickets into
this show.

Speaker 4 (20:45):
The show is just announced. So congratulations. That's big.

Speaker 3 (20:47):
Oh my god, I'm so excited.

Speaker 7 (20:49):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (20:50):
Yay, hang on the line. Okay, Sarah, we gotta get
your info.

Speaker 5 (20:52):
Okay, thank you.

Speaker 4 (20:53):
More ghosts malone all week.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
Thank god.

Speaker 4 (20:56):
I didn't have a game until.

Speaker 2 (20:58):
Yesterday, February first, the end of dry January, and then
this one came to me.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
Why alcohol for this?

Speaker 1 (21:05):
Kevin?

Speaker 2 (21:07):
Three things you need to know just past eight o'clock
you're on this Monday morning. Thank you for starting your
week with us. Ricky's got those three things.

Speaker 3 (21:14):
We are looking at warmer weather in Middle Tennessee, finally
after the horrible winter weather that we've all been having.
We really need this. We need this win, especially since
there are so many people without power still, some who
may not get their power until the ninth of February,
so it's been a rough time this week. Though there's
gonna be several days that are going to be in
the fifties for our highs here in Nashville. As of

(21:36):
right now, it looks like it's going to get into
the sixties next week, so it's looking like warmer weather's
coming our way. Finally, Fingers crossed it lasts for as
long as they say it's going to last, because we
really need this win right now. One of the stars
whom we Heat a Rivalry is going to host SNL.
This is a huge deal Connor's story. He's going to
be the host February twenty eighth with a performance from

(21:56):
Mumford and Sons. Heat A Rivalry has been a massive hit.
Everybody's watching it. Everybody's obsessing both over him and Hudson Williams,
who plays opposite of him in the show. They kind
of like it almost seems like they've burst into fame overnight. Obviously,
we all know overnight success stories aren't real. It's not
an actual thing, even if it feels that way. Both

(22:17):
have obviously been working at this for quite a while,
but they have just gotten so popular. Everybody's obsessed with them.
This is going to be a huge, huge night for us.
And now they've been really focusing on new hosts lately
and I really love that for them instead of doing repeats.

Speaker 9 (22:32):
Coolest part about Connor doing is he was like working
at a restaurant ten months.

Speaker 3 (22:36):
Ten months ago, he was a wail working at a restaurant. Yeah,
never give up on your dreams. If you want it
bad enough, you hold on to it long enough, it's
it'll happen. Buzzballs, the alcohol brand, They have a nine
carrot pink engagement ring ready for you for Valentine's Day.
The ring is thirty five thousand dollars and it shaped

(22:59):
like one of their round containers. If you don't know
what buzzballs are, you've probably seen them at the liquor store.
They just look like balls and they have just a
top on it that you pull right off. The piece
has more than three hundred handset lab grown diamonds totaling
nine carrots. It's gonna be on ebays starting February third,
with an opening bit of two dollars and fourteen cents.

(23:20):
We'll see how high it can go. The proceeds are
going to a heart related charity. They didn't say the
specific charity, but it's going to be a charity. February
third is when you can bid on that if you
really want one, Am Sanchez, And those are the three
things you.

Speaker 5 (23:32):
Need to know, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
On the river?

Speaker 3 (23:37):
Is it acceptable to cancel plans because it's too cold outside?
It's one of seven five of the river. Obviously, we've
had a lot of cold weather here in Middle Tennessee,
and the cold weather can really just mess up your vibes.
The vibes are never right when it's cold out.

Speaker 4 (23:51):
Yeah, I get that.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
I mean, what do you think I kind of think
that's silly that people would cancel plans because it's cold.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
Sounds like I think it's fully acceptable to cancel plans
because it's cold. Why would I leave my warm couch,
snuggled in blankets and my comfortable sweatsuit to go outside
in the freezing cold to see you?

Speaker 7 (24:11):
This is what we call it selfish.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
I mean, it's not like you're just gonna stand on
the corner and talk like you're probably going to a
warm place.

Speaker 7 (24:18):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
Six one seven, three seven, nine one oh seven. Please
join this conversation. Let us know if you think it's
okay acceptable.

Speaker 4 (24:26):
To cancel plans simply because it's colt cold.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
Outside, A little cold outside one.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
River Ricky Zach in the morning, there's Bruno Mars.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
I just might the name of the song. He was
great on the Grammys last night as well. It's one
O seven five Hover. We have Nate on the line
right now. He's calling from work. He works at Vandy. Uh, Nate,
do you think it's okay to cancel plans because it's
cold outside?

Speaker 4 (24:53):
I do?

Speaker 8 (24:54):
I do think it's okay to cancel plans?

Speaker 3 (24:56):
Yes, Nates, Yes?

Speaker 8 (24:57):
Tell us why? Well for me personally? Me personally, I'm
a Florida born man. I was born and raised in
South Florida, lived there for nineteen years, moved up here
in twenty twenty, and it was my first time ever
experiencing anything below sixty during the winter. And it's just
it's different. You know, you got plans to go out
and then you look at the temperature and it's forty

(25:19):
thirty degrees and you're like, no, I agree with you.
Why would I get up off of my warm couch
when I could very well just stay there. So selfish,
not have to deal with layers. Sometimes you gotta be selfish.

Speaker 9 (25:31):
Yeah, you literally don't care about your friends. You don't
want to go see then I don't want to spend
time with them. You don't want to bond with them
because you're too cold outside. You sound like a baby.

Speaker 8 (25:41):
Hey, they got to understand, they got to understand. I'm
not cut out for this sort of weather. And you
know it has a.

Speaker 3 (25:47):
Better use than I do, because I'm from the North,
I'm from Jersey, and it.

Speaker 8 (25:51):
Gets you're acclimated. You're acclimated.

Speaker 3 (25:54):
I am totally acclimated. But I hate the cold, okay,
because it is miserable. It just hits your soul, hits
the bones in your body a different way. You guys selfish.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
Brats, see, But you keep saying that. But Nate seems
very self aware. He's like, yeah, I'm a baby, I'm selfish.

Speaker 8 (26:10):
Yeah, yeah, I can own it. I own it.

Speaker 7 (26:14):
I can bless of a baby. He's still a baby.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
Selfish, Nat, I appreciate it, and I'm with you, and
at least we're both self aware about the fact that
we're being selfish. But you know what, sometimes, like you said,
you gotta do something for you.

Speaker 8 (26:27):
Oh I do. I have quite a lot. I have
quite a lot. You're more than welcome to come meet
him when it warms up.

Speaker 7 (26:33):
That was perfect. Thank you there.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
I'm sorry that jacksonly bullying you, but that was that
was great.

Speaker 7 (26:38):
You're the best.

Speaker 4 (26:39):
Thank you for calling Nate.

Speaker 8 (26:40):
Yeah, absolutely, no problem, have a good day.

Speaker 3 (26:44):
That was the perfect response.

Speaker 5 (26:46):
Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on the.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
River Grammy Award winning Olivia Dean on one oh seven
five the River every time. I just want to say
that because I'm so excited for her. She won Best
New Artists last night. It's grant I means that was
a great show. Greareat show. I loved every second of it.
Obviously a lot of really big moments that happened, a
lot of history made last night. There was also one

(27:10):
moment that really just hit my soul where it hurts.
Alex Warren performed at the Grammys last night, and there
was a situation going on at the very beginning of
his performance that kind of threw them off just a
little bit. He did pick it up and he got
it back together, and he sounded absolutely phenomenal.

Speaker 9 (27:27):
He sounded really, really great, So He posted this video
on his Instagram and he said, this is what it
sounded like in my in ear so like whenever people
are performing, they're wearing like in ear so they can
hear the music and everything.

Speaker 7 (27:38):
Yeah, and so this is what it sounded like to him.

Speaker 4 (27:40):
Okay, today's daily double tap. Here we go.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
So, I mean, imagine how much that would throw you
off if you're performing at the Grammys for the first
time ever. He was in the category as a you know,
new artist, and he's there on this giant stage and
this is what he hears in his in ear monitors,
and it just it threw him off, and you could
tell watching for that period of the performance. He ripped
him out and then, like Ricky said, he did kind
of recover nicely, but man.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
Very professional, very professional. Absolutely, But it was you just
I noticed right away. I was like, oh, no, something's off.
Something's off. And I figured it had to be the
in ear like just not matching up, because it was
just it was off and you could tell that he
couldn't tell what was going on. But, like I said,
phenomenal job. In the end, he did so well. I

(28:31):
felt so bad because you could tell at the end
that it really messed with him, like it hit him
and he was he was upset about what had happened.
But I really do think he was such a professional
about it, and Alex Horren did such a great job
in the end and his voices phenomenal. Yes, congrats to
him though, for being a true professional about it and
for having the moment on stage that he had as well.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
Did you guys like me, did you enjoy when you
were watching the show last night pointing out like who
has been a river on the rooftop?

Speaker 3 (29:01):
Aj kept doing it. Actually He's like, oh, another river
on the rooftop artist, Oh another one, And I'm like,
yes it is. You never know the people who play
a river on the rooftop may end up being the
next Alex Warren Sabrina Carpenter. You just jelly roll and
you just never know.

Speaker 4 (29:17):
Yeah, I was annoying my family with that last night.

Speaker 5 (29:21):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the
River
