The winter storm that hit over a week ago continues
to take lives here in Tennessee. As of tiama's Monday
night update, twenty five people in Tennessee have passed away
from the winter storm and the after effects of the storm.
The state has confirmed three people have passed away in
Davidson County due to the storm, but national officials believe
that there are actually five. They're waiting on medical examiner
(00:31):
findings in order to determine that this is just it's heartbreaking.
Speaker 5 (00:34):
Our thoughts are.
Speaker 4 (00:35):
With them and their families and friends because I can't
imagine what they're going through right now.
Speaker 5 (00:40):
So we're thinking of all of you.
Speaker 4 (00:43):

sounds pretty cool actually, So they're offering on Mediterranean cruise
that is perfectly time for August second of twenty twenty
seven for this big event to happen. So when you're
(01:27):
a board Carnival Sunshine, yes, they're gonna be positioned right
along the path of maximum eclipse of visibility at sea,
so they're going to have the best seats in the
house for this, and obviously they're going to be themed
on board programming that are all dedicated to this huge event.
It all kicks off in Barcelona and it's going to
stop at a bunch.
Speaker 5 (01:45):
Of spots all over Europe. It honestly sounds like a
lot of fun. I like the idea of a cruise
that is catered to a very specific thing.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
Yeah, I like that idea because the idea of a
cruise kind of freaks me out.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
But what if it's cloud What if people wait a
year and a half for this and pay all this
money and stuff and it's a cloudy.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
Day, Sanche, And those are the three things you need
to know.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Oh, let's hope it's now. Let's hope for the best.

Speaker 5 (02:32):

Speaker 4 (02:34):
How do you feel about the fact we're getting a
little bit warmer right now?
Speaker 6 (02:38):
I'm praising the Lord.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
Hey, how is your week last week? Kyosha? Did you
lose power any of that stuff?
Speaker 7 (02:45):
We did?
Speaker 6 (02:46):
We lost power Sunday at like nine in the morning,
and we got it back Monday like five.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
So I mean that's been rough. Yeah, not ideal, but
not as bad as a lot of other folks.
Speaker 6 (02:57):
Oh, yeah, people at my school is at our school
still don't have.
Speaker 8 (03:01):
Power, so it's so.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
Too because obviously you guys got to go back to school.
So I know that, like there are people without power
that are expected to just go back to work.
Speaker 6 (03:13):
We went back to work on Tuesday last week.
Speaker 5 (03:15):
Oh wow, uh huh that was early.
Speaker 9 (03:18):
Yes, Kyosha, this is your sign to quit your job exactly.
Speaker 10 (03:22):
You know.
Speaker 6 (03:24):
Funny story is I am pretty.
Speaker 8 (03:26):
Okay, Kyosha. What are you gonna do? Instead?
Speaker 6 (03:29):
I am moving back to my hometown. I'm from Jackson, Tennessee,
so I'm moving back.
Speaker 9 (03:35):
Okay, Kyosha. Here's the problem. No, because we're obsessed with
you and you cannot leave us.
Speaker 6 (03:41):
Well, I'm just still gonna listen to you answer. I
do have that app I'm gonna miss listening to whatever
something crazy comes out of your mouth, everything that comes out.
I'm just like, this is why I'm obsessed with this man.
Speaker 5 (03:58):
It's pretty constant and this isn't it.
Speaker 8 (04:00):
Yes, you're telling me my poor boyfriend.
Speaker 5 (04:05):
Yo, So thank you so much for being with us.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
We're excited for your move, despite the fact that you
won't be here because obviously you're excited for it.
Speaker 5 (04:12):
So we're excited for you. Yeah, and we're excited to
tell you that you're the first caller of the day.
Speaker 11 (04:19):
Yay.
Speaker 6 (04:22):
Second time seeing Charlie Poof. I'm so excited. He was
really really good. Yeah, I love him.
Speaker 4 (04:30):

ninth at a send Amphitheater. We're gonna put you on
hold for just one second. But like I said, we're
really excited for you in your move.
Speaker 6 (04:39):
Thank you, thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
We've got more tomorrow, these Charlie Pooth tickets. He's going
to be at a send in June.
Speaker 9 (04:45):
You can be there and if you win the tickets tomorrow,
you better not tell me about you're moving away from me,
because I will.
Speaker 8 (04:50):
I will cross.
Speaker 7 (04:53):
Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
There is something about this month of February that just
itchy is the perfect part of my brain that I've
been so excited about what and I have to share
it with you, guys.
Speaker 8 (05:06):
I'm so confused and you look so confused.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Interesting, it's more than just being done with January, the
hellscape that was never ending January.
Speaker 5 (05:14):
Yes, more than.
Speaker 4 (05:15):
That, and we're focusing on just February with this.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Okay, find out why Ricky is hyped for February right
after the song I'm so curious.
Speaker 10 (05:24):
We'll get to it.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Next to other River Ricky is Zach and Mano in
the Morning on the River Ive the River.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
Ricky, Zach and Mano in the Morning.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Ricky mentioned a moment ago that she is pumped about
something very specific related to February of twenty twenty six.
Speaker 4 (05:40):
Well, this February is the most beautiful month ever. What
fits the calendar perfectly. If you pull up.
Speaker 5 (05:49):
Your calendar and look at February.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
All of the days are perfectly aligned.
Speaker 5 (05:56):
It's gorgeous they are.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
And it's which is that part of my brain where
it's like, oh my god, this is just the most
beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
The month started on Sunday the first and it ends
on Saturday the twenty eighth, which is just four perfect
correct square.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
It's a perfect square, perfect rectangle.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
But sure, yeah, ever get out of here. It looks gorgeous.
That's the bottom line. The time I open my calendar,
which I have to do daily because I'm the kind
of person where if I don't put something in my calendar.
Speaker 5 (06:24):
It's not happening in my life because I'll forget about it.
Speaker 9 (06:26):
I'm all about having like the small winds in life
and things that bring you joy.
Speaker 8 (06:30):
This is so bizarre that this brings you so much joy.
Speaker 5 (06:32):
It brings me so much every single day.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
Every day that I open up my calendar, I go,
oh my god, you're beautiful.
Speaker 8 (06:37):
So you better be in a good mood this entire month.
Speaker 5 (06:40):
I don't know, no promises, I'm scrolling.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
I'm already into like mid twenty twenty eight. This doesn't
happen again for a very long time. I don't see
this at all.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
See, it's a phenomenon that no one will ever experience again.
Speaker 5 (06:52):
Ever, Ever, no one will ever experience this again.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Embrace the beauty of February being so perfect for the
calendar that it's just it's unlike anything we've ever experienced before.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
That's your reward for making it through January.
Speaker 5 (07:06):
Think you know what worth it?
Speaker 7 (07:08):
Worth it?
Speaker 4 (07:09):
Because this is gorgeous. I'm so excited about it, guys.
It truly has made me so happy.
Speaker 8 (07:14):
I love you so much, but I'm like a lot
of it concerned you should be.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
I'm glad you brought this to our attention. I think
this is really cool.
Speaker 5 (07:22):
It's great. I'm I'm hyped about it.
Speaker 4 (07:24):
Just know, every day I wake up in the morning,
I look at my calendar and I smile so big,
ear to ear, and I never smile like that again
the rest of the days.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
I've never seen or smile. I don't think. Thank you
for letting us appreciate that.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Three things you good morning, good to see it. Thank
you for being here starting you're Tuesday with us. Ricky's
got those three things.
Speaker 4 (07:45):
National Mayor Freddie O'Connell is creating a commission to look
into any storm preparation. He issued an executive order creating
the commission yesterday after hundreds of thousands lost power during
the most recent winter storm that brought both snow and
ice to Middle Tennessee. Nashville was without power and still
we have a lot of people without power as of
(08:05):
right now, a lot of them who won't get power
until the ninth. So no word yet on who's going
to be part of this group, who's going to look
into this, And I don't know when we're going to
expect the feedback that will be available to Nashvillian's about
what they find but they're starting to at least get
down to the bottom of this. Obviously, this was huge
(08:26):
for Nashville, and we need to make sure that it
doesn't happen again. I've been urging you to call your
representatives and let them know the impacts that the storm
has had on you.
Speaker 5 (08:34):
I still think you should do that, but it is
good to.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
See that you know something is happening, and hopefully we
get the results of all of that and some new
implementation to make sure that this never happens again. Kelly
Clarkson has announced that she's done with The Kelly Clarkston Show.
Speaker 5 (08:49):
This is a huge bummer. The show is going to
end after.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
The season, which is a seventh season of the syndicated show.
Production on that is still going as planned. Episodes are
going to air through the fall. The announcement was made
on her social media. The main reason that she had,
like said, she made this decision was to spend more
time with her kids, which makes sense. She has two
young children who just recently lost their dad, her ex husband,
(09:14):
and she wants to make sure that she's there for
them and present as a parent, which is a great
thing to hear.
Speaker 5 (09:20):
Just a huge bummer for.
Speaker 4 (09:21):
Everybody else obviously, which we can all handle, you know.
But we're all sad because everybody loves Kelly Clarkson.
Speaker 5 (09:25):
We love the show.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
Kelly did note that we will still see her playing
shows here and there.
Speaker 5 (09:31):
You may see her on the voice.
Speaker 4 (09:32):
She's still going to be making music, so you will
still see Kelly Clarkson out and about doing things. And
the new Costco Nike sneaker collab has resale prices soaring
right now.
Speaker 5 (09:43):
So Costco quietly dropped a collab.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
It's a Kirkland Kirkland signature Nike SB dunk Low. They
had it at select stores in New York, Oregon, California,
and Washington. The shoes went for one hundred and thirty
five dollars, but people went absolutely nuts for them. There
were lines out the door for people to try and
get these. So now the resale prices on sites like
stock x eBay, they've just shot up.
Speaker 5 (10:08):
They're listed anywhere from four hundred dollars.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
To five thousand dollars, which is wild. There's no word
yet from Costco or Nike on whether or not we're
gonna get a restock or a wider release of these shoes.
Speaker 5 (10:20):
So as of right now, the only.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
Way for you to get them is to spend an
absolutely insane amount of money.
Speaker 5 (10:25):
I reached out to Zac the other day and I
was like, you love Costco.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
If you go to Costco and you see these bad boys,
you got to buy me a size women's seven.
Speaker 8 (10:31):
I literally be Costco specifically.
Speaker 3 (10:35):
I went Saturday morning. Huh yeah, they weren't there either,
but that we found out where they were.
Speaker 5 (10:40):
Amber Casanchez and those are the three things you need
to know.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
I really do want those.
Speaker 7 (10:43):
I don't know why.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
It's just the scarcity mentality, because you know.
Speaker 5 (10:46):
They're just working.
Speaker 8 (10:47):
Their marketing is working exactly.
Speaker 7 (10:49):
Right after Taylor.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
We are learning on this Tuesday morning.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
I hope you're ready, Zax Fax. He's got a good one.
Next down the river.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
Class is in sessions.
Speaker 7 (10:58):
Zach facts on one River.
Speaker 9 (11:01):
So because yesterday was Groundhog Day, I did a little
bit of research on groundhogs and I learned did you guys.
Speaker 8 (11:07):
Know this that they are a type of squirrel.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
You asked us that yesterday You're like, what is it
a squirrel? And we were both like no, and Nowaday.
Speaker 8 (11:14):
Legitimately are a type of squirrel.
Speaker 9 (11:16):
They are the largest member of the squirrel family, more
specifically known as the marmot, So they share a bunch
of different traits with squirrels. Unfortunately they don't have like
the big fluffy tails.
Speaker 5 (11:26):
But fortunately I know because they're just so cute.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
I also learned yesterday that they are interchangeable with woodchuck.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
Yeah I did.
Speaker 5 (11:34):
I thought a woodchuck was a different animal, but it's not.
Speaker 9 (11:36):
No, a groundhog and a woodchuck are the same thing,
and they're part of the squirrel family.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Wild are they all clairvoyant or just that one?
Speaker 5 (11:43):
Just that one?
Speaker 8 (11:44):
I don't know what that work?
Speaker 4 (11:47):
Like punks and I feel like you could see the future.
Speaker 5 (11:49):
Okay, there's your fact.
Speaker 7 (11:54):
Of the day.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on seven.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
I need some help when it comes to negotiating, haggling.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
It's one of seven five the River. I recently made
a purchase.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
I bought my daughter a little used guitar and the
guy said prices are negotiable, and I just I panicked.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
I didn't know what to do.
Speaker 7 (12:15):
I can't do that, Kevin.
Speaker 4 (12:17):
We're gonna get a little more into this story because
it is hilarious.
Speaker 5 (12:20):
But first, let's hear your tips.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
Your hacks for negotiating prices six one five, seven, three seven, nine,
one oh seven.
Speaker 3 (12:27):
Help him out for.
Speaker 5 (12:28):
The next time that he's in this situation.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
I've never once done it in my life, and I
can use all the help I can get.
Speaker 5 (12:33):
You didn't do a good job this time.
Speaker 12 (12:35):
No.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
Six, seven, three seven, nine, one O seven.
Speaker 7 (12:39):
Five Ricky Zach and Mano in the Morning.
Speaker 4 (12:42):
Kevin just recently had an experience where he tried to
negotiate prices.
Speaker 5 (12:47):
With someone over a guitar. It didn't go very well.
Speaker 4 (12:50):
It's Ricky Zach and Maano in the Morning on one
O seven five the River.
Speaker 5 (12:54):
So now we're looking for hacks.
Speaker 4 (12:56):
Some tips when it comes to negotiating prices to maybe
help him out next time. Sandra in Nashville, what's your
tip for him?
Speaker 13 (13:03):
I say, don't be too anxious and be ready to
walk away.
Speaker 5 (13:08):
Oh that's gonna be real rough for Kevin. Don't be
too anxious.
Speaker 13 (13:11):
That's just I'm gonna have to think about this for
a moment and look at other places.
Speaker 8 (13:19):
And I like that go to.
Speaker 9 (13:20):
And always like just be prepared to walk away, Like
I feel like that's the most common go to because
I like, if you're like, no, I'm good, I'll just
walk away.
Speaker 8 (13:27):
Then they will come back to you and be like, no, no,
just kidding, we'll do it for that price.
Speaker 13 (13:30):
You're right, they'll want it somebody else to get your business.
I do that with everything, with cable, with my phone everything.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
You should start like selling the service. I would hire
you to negotiate all of my bills for me. Honestly,
it's not about I.
Speaker 13 (13:46):
Get it done. Let me tell you, I'll get it done.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
And I think I made one big mistake with my
guitar purchase because this was for my daughter. She's just
taking guitar lessons and stuff, so we went to buy
her a used guitar. I had both of my kids
with me, and they were not willing to walk away.
Like we walked in and there like we're here to
buy a guitar. One like there was no.
Speaker 13 (14:07):
Yeah, but you're teaching them. You're teaching them a lesson
by not jumping at the awful.
Speaker 5 (14:12):
That's true. Yeah, that's something that it's good to.
Speaker 13 (14:14):
Learn because otherwise you'll go somewhere and they'll see something
I want that.
Speaker 6 (14:19):
You know, no, you know, think about it?
Speaker 5 (14:22):
Sure, all right? So you gotta be willing to walk away.
Speaker 4 (14:24):
That's the biggest from Sandra, Thank you so much for
calling in the funniest part of this is Kevin got
so excited to tell us how he, you know, haggled down.
Tells us the story and it was not haggling whatsoever.
Speaker 5 (14:40):
He said, how are you willing to go?
Speaker 4 (14:42):
The man gave him a price, and he went, all right, great,
I'll pay that.
Speaker 7 (14:47):
For me.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
All the negotiating.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning, Zach.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
And Mano in the morning on the river. Good morning friends,
thank you for starting your day with us in Nashville.
Is on the line.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
She's here to help me learn how to haggle, how
to negotiate prices. I was recently in a situation that
didn't go well. So don what are your hacks your
tips for me?
Speaker 12 (15:11):
Well, I've even done at Lows and the clearance Aisle.
I'll have the manager come out and it'll be a
certain price, and I say, well, i'll pay you one
forty instead of the two forty, and then he'll go up,
and then I'll go, how about this price, like, you know,
a little bit lower? And then finally I get it
(15:31):
like for jerk cheap.
Speaker 5 (15:32):
You negotiate it loads and it works.
Speaker 2 (15:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (15:35):
I had a big chandelier went and it was on clearance.
I asked for the manager and then I get it.
Speaker 8 (15:41):
Okakay.
Speaker 9 (15:41):
So is it only specifically things on the clearance rack
or is it everything it lows that you see.
Speaker 12 (15:47):
Just the clearance clearence?
Speaker 5 (15:48):
That's okay.
Speaker 12 (15:49):
Tip.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
That's a really good tip.
Speaker 12 (15:50):
It is a good tip because I can haggle anywhere.
Speaker 4 (15:53):
The main takeaway here from Don is you go really
low with the price yep and yeah, you meet somewhere
in the they want to get rid of it.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
Right.
Speaker 9 (16:02):
Do you do it like a nice tone or like
a very stern tone? Are you like, hey, like very nice?
Are you like give it to me for cheap?
Speaker 12 (16:10):
No? I'm very sweet and very nice, kind of flirty.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
Okay here, that is the real tip. Flirting will get
you at anything.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
Yeah, that just changed change the game for me, Kevin.
Speaker 9 (16:27):
I would hate to see you try and flirt.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
I like to see that too, Don, thank you so
much for calling this morning. Your tips have been great
and you've brought us a lot of lives. We appreciate you.
Speaker 12 (16:42):
Oh good, I love you guys. So much. I'm on
the road all the time and I listen to you.
Speaker 8 (16:48):
We love you so much.
Speaker 12 (16:50):
I love you too.
Speaker 6 (16:51):
A great day, you too, you too.
Speaker 7 (16:56):
Zach.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
Try to sell me a guitar. Okay, I have a
guitar for sale. How much is two hundred and fifty dollars?
Speaker 3 (17:03):
I don't know, big man. You see me bite my
lip over here? Yeah, would you take a dollar for it?
Speaker 1 (17:08):
No?
Speaker 8 (17:08):
Two hundred and fifty dollars?
Speaker 3 (17:10):
Two dollars.
Speaker 8 (17:11):
No, this is really bad, Kevin.
Speaker 4 (17:12):
This is the most uncomfortable situation I've ever been in
in my life.
Speaker 5 (17:17):
I am so frightened.
Speaker 8 (17:19):
I don't know how you're married. You're awful.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
If for Okay, we've got post Malone tickets.
Speaker 3 (17:25):
Thank you for all the tips. It didn't help me
at all. Post melon tickets.
Speaker 5 (17:28):
Next to the Game of the.
Speaker 7 (17:29):
Whole River, Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning.
Speaker 5 (17:34):
Hope everyone is ready to play Kevin.
Speaker 4 (17:36):
Mano's Game of the Day presented by Genesis Diamonds on
one oh seven five the River.
Speaker 5 (17:41):
He announced the name yesterday, and.
Speaker 9 (17:43):
I refuse to say it, So, Kevin, go ahead, tell
us what the name is. I'm not saying that.
Speaker 5 (17:48):
Ricky, you don't have to say.
Speaker 4 (17:49):
I have to say, and it's bast Malone is the
name of the game. It's for Post Malone tickets at
Nissan Stadium. He's going to be playing June thirtieth, obviously
going to.
Speaker 5 (17:59):
Be a huge show. Well, go ahead and explain how
the game works, Kevin.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
People love this game, I mean rave reviews after yesterday,
just everybody's going nuts for it.
Speaker 5 (18:07):
It's all over social media. Everyone's losing their mind.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
Post Malone lyrics recited by a ghost. You have to
identify the song, name that tune. Basically, the ghost will
read some lyrics. If you know what song it is,
call us tell us you're going to see post Malone.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
Here we go, today's audio clue.
Speaker 10 (18:26):
Used to keep my picture posted by your bedside, Now
it's in your addresser with the socks you don't like?
Boo the.
Speaker 5 (18:38):
Boo every time?
Speaker 4 (18:39):
Really just six seven seven nine one o seven to
play Kevin Maanno's game of the day, the silliest one.
Speaker 5 (18:46):
I think, actually not silliest but close.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
What's up there? Yeah, if you know what song that is?
Speaker 2 (18:51):
What post Malone song that dead man was just reciting,
let us know.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
You could be going to see posts the courtesy of
the River.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
Let's put he is Zach and Mano in the morning.
Speaker 4 (19:04):
Ghosts Malone is the name of the game this week
that we were playing for Kevin Bando's Game of the Day.
All week long, we will be playing this for to
see post Malone.
Speaker 5 (19:14):
I feel like this is one of the more ridiculous
games we've played on want To seven five.
Speaker 7 (19:17):
Of the River.
Speaker 5 (19:17):
But here we are.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
Yeah, but people.
Speaker 5 (19:21):
Ghosts Malone.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
So you had done so you heard this game yesterday
and you made a shirt inspired by Oh my god.
Speaker 11 (19:29):
I've had a shirt for a couple of years and
I wear it Halloween and that has ghats Malone.
Speaker 4 (19:32):
Tony, he's being ridiculous, but that is really awesome.
Speaker 5 (19:36):
We're glad that you got through, Tony.
Speaker 4 (19:37):
And Livingston's going to play the game today. I wish
you were wearing your ghost Malone shirt just for good luck.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
All right, we're gonna play the audio clue one more time.
If you know what song it is, you tell us
you're going to see post Malone.
Speaker 3 (19:49):
Here we go, take it away.
Speaker 10 (19:51):
Ghost used to keep my picture posted by your bedside.
Now it's in your dresser with the socks.
Speaker 7 (20:00):
You don't like.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
Boo, do you know what post Malone song our man
Ghost Malone was just reciting I do.
Speaker 6 (20:11):
You probably think that you are better now? Better now?
Speaker 5 (20:14):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (20:15):
And for the extra credit, she sung it it is
better now.
Speaker 6 (20:20):
Awesome.
Speaker 5 (20:21):
Congratulations.
Speaker 4 (20:22):
You're gonna go see post Malone at Nissan Stadium. It's
gonna be a huge show happening June thirtieth.
Speaker 6 (20:28):
Awesome. Thank you guys.
Speaker 8 (20:29):
Are you going to wear your Gus Malone shirt to
the show?
Speaker 6 (20:32):
I probably will.
Speaker 8 (20:33):
I think you have to.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
You absolutely need to be You're there courtesy of Ghost Malon. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
you have a great day to day, Tony. Thank you
so much for calling and playing the game.
Speaker 14 (20:42):
Thank you.
Speaker 5 (20:43):
Hang on the line. Okay, love, Okay, there's already merch
for this game.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
This is really it's almost happening too fast. It's sweeping
the nation by storm.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
Hello and good morning. Just after eight o'clock here, Ricky
Sanchez has those three things.
Speaker 4 (20:57):
I know that I kind of sound like a broken
record right now, but this needs to be talked about
for as long as it's happening.
Speaker 5 (21:02):
There are people who are still without power in Middle Tennessee.
Speaker 4 (21:06):
The last Tally that I looked at only twenty minutes
ago fifteen minutes ago shows that a NES is reporting
a little over eighteen thousand customers without power. Middle Tennessee
Electric is down to two customers, and Try County Electric
reports eighteen without power.
Speaker 5 (21:21):
As of right now.
Speaker 4 (21:22):
You can check the new tracker that a NES has
on their website to see when your area should get
power back. Some are looking at February ninth as a
date that they'll get their power back, which is absolutely insane.
This is your reminder to keep checking on your neighbors
who don't have power. We all have to obviously be
there for each other. Right now, Zach just found out
that they lost power yet again in his neighborhood.
Speaker 8 (21:43):
Literally this morning, like five minutes ago. We just left power,
so great.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
Yeah, and Ricky you said eighteen thousand, that was the
number you said.
Speaker 4 (21:50):
Yeah, that's what I saw most recently, is that there
are still and there might be even more now considering
that Zak doesn't have power. So this is ever changing,
constantly changing. I'm trying to consistently check it to see
what happens. Yeah, just shot up one hundred customers from
the last time that I checked so everything has been
so hard and so rough here in Middle Tennessee. Like
(22:12):
I said, you got to look out for your neighbors
and one another because I have no idea when this
is going to end, and I'm gonna keep talking about
it until it does. So I'm sorry, like I said,
if I sound like a broken record, but this is
such a massive issue right now. Rumors are that Kim
Kardashian has a new fling, her and driver Lewis Hamilton.
They've been seen together on multiple occasions. The two were
(22:35):
seen checking into a Paris hotel together after traveling from
the UK, which is said to have been a very
romantic getaway.
Speaker 5 (22:43):
Sources claim that the two enjoyed a couple's.
Speaker 4 (22:44):
Massage, they had private access to the properties pool and spa,
and then they shared a private dinner together, so that.
Speaker 5 (22:50):
Might be a new thing.
Speaker 4 (22:51):
These are just rumors right now, obviously, until either of
them actually confirmed.
Speaker 8 (22:55):
I just looked that.
Speaker 9 (22:56):
Man up and he's cute, cute, He is real cute.
Speaker 5 (23:00):
So we'll see how this goes.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
And Ikea has revealed a massive twenty inch long hot dog.
The hot dog stretches past the bun, that's how big
it is. Right now, they're only available in the United
Arab Emirates, with a no word on whether or not
it's gonna roll out into other countries. But the Internet
obviously reaches everywhere, and people went nuts over this thing.
Speaker 5 (23:23):
Seems that there's a lot of mixed feelings.
Speaker 4 (23:24):
Some people are concerned on why there's a need for
a hot dog to be so big, and others are
really excited to try it for themselves if it ever
rolls out into other areas.
Speaker 3 (23:33):
The hot dog.
Speaker 5 (23:34):
Really is Armriguisanchez. And those are the three things.
Speaker 7 (23:37):
You need to know. Prikis Zach and Menno in the
morning on the river.
Speaker 4 (23:43):
All three of us love Martha Stewart, okay, but this
recent interview that she did, she said the most insane
thing ever she showers before the gym.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
I don't get that at all. Why, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (23:57):
So we're wondering if this is normal, if there are
people out there that actually prefer to shower before.
Speaker 5 (24:01):
The gym, and why we we need to discuss this
with you. We have to figure this out.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
Is there something we're just missing? I mean that very
well could be. There could be a benefit to showering
before you go to the gym. Let us know six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
one oh seven. Are you like Martha Stewart? Do you
shower before you work out?
Speaker 7 (24:20):
Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the Morning one.
Speaker 2 (24:22):
Seven five the River we mentioned a moment ago Martha
Stewart apparently takes a shower before she goes to the
gym before she works out. And uh, when we read that,
we had no idea why. Mike and Nashville hopefully can
clue us in here. You said you do that all
the time, Mike.
Speaker 15 (24:37):
Every single time. I don't know sometime. I mean I
will shower after the gym, but but before the gym,
it's always it's always nice to get a shower. And
I mean, you know, there's people around you smelling bad
the whole time. So if you can, if you can
shower and help not be one of those people, it's
a great thing if you have tom of course, if
(24:59):
you're leaving work and you know you smell fun, so
be it.
Speaker 5 (25:03):
But okay, so.
Speaker 4 (25:04):
You're doing this for everybody else, is what it seems like,
more than you're doing it for yourself.
Speaker 15 (25:08):
Kind Of me too. I have a pretty strong nose,
and if I smell myself. I'm I'm in a pretty
bad mood about it, so it's kind of it's a
win win all across the board. Okay, it's a great time.
I mean, you know, there's just so many foul smells
in the gym.
Speaker 5 (25:24):
It's nice to get clean.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
You're wrong, so I'm behalf of everybody. Thank you for
keeping it clean.
Speaker 15 (25:29):
Hey, yeah, no problem. Hope. Hopefully you guys try it.
You may like it. It may give you a little
a little boost to energy.
Speaker 4 (25:36):
I am gonna try it, Mike, because I am curious
now that there is another person outside of Martha Stewart
that does this.
Speaker 5 (25:41):
So I'm gonna try for myself and see how I feel.
Speaker 15 (25:43):
Oh yeah, me and all my friends do it as well,
So I mean it's uh, I think it's more common
than you might think.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
It turns out it is.
Speaker 5 (25:51):
Thanks for calling, Mike. We hope you're a great day.
Speaker 15 (25:53):
Thanks for having me. Yeah, you guys have a good anybody.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
I am intrigued about the burst of energy aspect of it.
I think that that there could be something there. I mean,
Mike is doing it just so he's not stinky, but
there are probably other reasons too.
Speaker 4 (26:05):
Do you expect Mike for that, though, I think more
people should think about that.
Speaker 9 (26:09):
Now think about other people, but like, do you feel
energetic after a shower? No, I want to go to
bed like it's nice and warm, and then I want
to go lay in the bed.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
Huh, you must be a nice shower then, yeah, yeah,
I am.
Speaker 8 (26:20):
Every night you're.
Speaker 3 (26:20):
Conditioned to shower then go to sleep. That's not how
I operate.
Speaker 5 (26:26):
I has to have a thought on this though.
Speaker 4 (26:27):
Six one five seven through seven nine, one oh seven,
one o seven five The River.
Speaker 7 (26:32):
Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning, Sondra and Nashville.
Speaker 5 (26:36):
Welcome to one oh seven five The River. What are
your thoughts on showering before the gym?
Speaker 14 (26:41):
Absolutely, Mike and Matha, absolutely right. I do it because like, okay,
so you're up all day, you're doing things, and you
have germs and bacteria in your body already, and then
when you start to work out, you perspire and you
open up your poors and I feel like those germs
can get into your body and then depending on what
soak you use, it really gives you a first of energy.
Speaker 4 (27:00):
That is a very interesting take on this. I did
not think about the like germ part of it.
Speaker 9 (27:06):
I will say I respect that part of it, Like
the idea of like, hey, let me go clean myself
so I don't make everything like super dirty before I
go in. That makes sense to me in my head.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
So I kind of think you're a germophobe. And that's
sort of No, no, not at.
Speaker 11 (27:18):
All, not at all.
Speaker 14 (27:20):
You just cleanse the skin so nice, and then you
can work out and get the perspiration, and of course
you gotta go and take another shower.
Speaker 9 (27:26):
Also, you said, you said that depends on what kind
of body wash that you use.
Speaker 8 (27:30):
What do you use to invigorate you?
Speaker 10 (27:32):
Like?
Speaker 8 (27:32):
What what is that?
Speaker 7 (27:33):
You know?
Speaker 14 (27:33):
What's so crazy? I know it's old school Irish spring
is magic.
Speaker 5 (27:38):
Okay, remember that.
Speaker 14 (27:42):
Old stuff. It just smells so good and it just
it just cricks you up.
Speaker 5 (27:47):
Hey, I love that it works for you, Sondra.
Speaker 4 (27:49):
Even if we think it's a little crazy, we love
you for it.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
Okay, you're the best.
Speaker 4 (27:56):
Thank you for calling in love and in Murphy's Borough.
What do you think about showering for the gym?
Speaker 5 (28:00):
Do you do it?
Speaker 11 (28:01):
I gotta do it. There's a difference between taking it,
jumping in the shower and taking a bath. A bath
to me means like I'm gonna relax and go to bed. Yeah,
A shower means I gotta get.
Speaker 5 (28:13):
Up and get going.
Speaker 11 (28:14):
Okay, if I don't take a shower, I cannot I'm
just dead. It's yeah, I can't.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
I don't.
Speaker 11 (28:22):
I don't care what I look like like it doesn't
have anything to do with like I've got to look good.
I could care like it's all about me. It's like
I've gotta I want to perform, like I've gotta gotta
have the energy.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
To do.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
Coffee.
Speaker 11 (28:38):
Oh know, the coffee's gotta happen too. But and it's
real quick my showers, Like my shower's like like three
to five minutes.
Speaker 3 (28:49):
Okay, get in you just a little for the burst
of energy.
Speaker 11 (28:53):
Yeah exactly, just wake up, like wake up and get going.
So it's not it's not like I leave the gym
and I don't shower. That shower that's what that's what
I really care about, being clean and has good hygiene.
Speaker 5 (29:09):
Don't get it twisted.
Speaker 14 (29:10):
It's okay, Yeah, don't mess that up.
Speaker 5 (29:15):
And thank you so much for calling in. We appreciate you,
all right, have a good day you do.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
We also heard from somebody that said a nice warm
shower like prepare your muscles for a workout.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
So that's another angle.
Speaker 9 (29:26):
I mean, that does kind of make sense, especially if
it's like a really warm shower. It kind of like
loosens up your muscles so you're like less tense whenever
you go. That would require me to go to the
gym to have to take a shower beforehand, and that
doesn't happen.
Speaker 5 (29:38):
I'm gonna I'm gonna try this. I'm curious. I think
everyone's crazy for doing this, but I'll try anything once.
Speaker 8 (29:43):
Give it a whirl.
Speaker 1 (29:45):
Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
Speaker 4 (29:46):
On the river and it's time for us to play
the daily double tap for you. This is a video
that's gone really viral because obviously, not only do we
know about the power struggles that Middle Tennessee has hap,
but the entire country knows about it at this point
because it has taken quite a while for people to
get their power back. But this moment, the pure joy
(30:08):
of this family when they get their power back is
is something that you just feel in your heart, your soul,
your bones once you hear it.
Speaker 8 (30:16):
We said this ride listening to it totally. We saw
this video.
Speaker 2 (30:19):
There's an author named Carlos Whitaker that lives in the
Middle Tennessee area.
Speaker 3 (30:23):
He posted this video. This happened Sunday night.
Speaker 2 (30:25):
They were watching the Grammys, Jelly Roll was on the TV,
and then I love that as soon as the power
came back on, their record player started and Taylor Swift
started playing.
Speaker 3 (30:32):
It was just like a big moment.
Speaker 16 (30:34):
Here we go Today's daily double tape.
Speaker 6 (30:45):
Jelly No way.
Speaker 5 (30:50):
They said they weren't gonna do it tonight.
Speaker 7 (30:53):
There's no way.
Speaker 1 (30:54):
Actually can cry.
Speaker 8 (30:56):
Yeah, that feeling.
Speaker 9 (30:58):
Zach had that same feeling of almost you could literally
hear the beep of the oven turning on, and once
you hear that beep, you're like, oh my god, do
we have power? And like I did the exact same thing,
because I was without power for six days and when
I screamed, I was like laying on my couch and
I heard it come on, and I was like, I
did the exact same thing.
Speaker 8 (31:15):
I started screaming from
Speaker 1 (31:16):
Joy, Ricky is Zach and Manno In the morning on
the river
