really candid about the behind the scenes on how these
shows really work by bringing up to him like, hey,
have you gotten your prize money yet and ending with

she won the inaugural inaugural I can't speak season of
American Idol back in two thousand and two, she never

was promised that she would get if she won. She said, quote,
it was like a million dollars worth of investment in you. Instead,

things are kind of uh blown out of proportion and
they're not exactly what you expect them to be. So
hopefully rob Rousch gets his money and gets what he
was promised, and things have changed at this point, we'll
see Metropolis has expanded its Park and Play program, which
is really amazing. This is a program that offers free
parking to national musicians, which is an ongoing battle for

them as it is for us, because we don't have
any free parking anywhere in the city anymore.

Everything's been taken.

Away, mostly by Metropolis. So they are doing this program
and they are expanding it. The initiative launched last August,
and it includes lots and areas like Downtown, the Gulch, Midtown,
and East Nashville. There's a full list of all the
participating locations on Metropolis's website if you want to check

Musicians going downtown to do gigs are losing money because they're.

quite often when we have to go downtown for a
gig and we're like, oh, well, there's sixty dollars down
the drain. It's a new study has found that teenagers
are spending a third of their school day looking at
their smartphones. So, per this report, middle and high school
students are checking their phones dozens of times while at school,

frequently every hour. It's both linked to weaker impulse controls
and attention spans. Obviously, for any parent out there, you
know what these teachers are going through, and if these
kids are constantly checking their smartphones, they're not doing the
work that they need to do. So everybody's got to
work jointly when it comes to the education of their
kids and going to school. I know that back in school,

phone under the desk and you had to use T

One Battle after another got six awards, Sinners got four,
Frankenstein won three, and K Pop Demon Hunters walked away
with two trophies.

I know best Actor category has been a hot topic
of discussion for this awards season because it looks like
it was gonna be a tight race between Michael B.
Jordan and Timothy Shalomey and even Leonardo DiCaprio, because those
are the big movies this year that everybody was talking about.

Michael B. Jordan. He won.
Speaker 5 (10:40):
Congrats to him. Honestly, if you watch Centners, you know
that he deserved it. He played twins in this very original,
very interesting movie, and I am just so excited that
he won because I truly feel like he deserved it.
He went to in and Out to celebrate afterwards.

Which is also the coolest thing ever.

There's lots of videos going around of everybody cheering for
him and just being really excited that he was there
to celebrate.

And I will say, he played twins, but very different twins,

And if you look into any of the things that
he did to specifically portray each different person even though
they were twins, fascinating. Oh my god, he really deserved it.
Best Actress went to Jesse Buckley for her role in
Hamnet Autumn Derould Archapaal. She became the first woman to
ever win for Bets cinematography for her work on Sinners. Again,

just such a good movie. You gotta watch it if
you have not watched it yet. Also another great movie
to watch the one who won Best Picture which was
one battle after another great movie. A new weekend Broadway
street closure started over the weekend.

Closed between John Lewis Way and Second Avenue and Will
It's gonna be in place every Friday and Saturday, so
from seven thirty pm to one am. They're going to
close down the street to ensure that pedestrians can walk

Obviously, pedestrian safety has been a huge topic of conversation
around Nashale. MmpD said traffic control is going to assist
at intersections long Fourth Avenue to help transit operations and

So just keep in mind Broadway Street closures around Broadway
are going to be happening every weekend from now on

I love this is a thing that we're doing now.
It just makes it so much more fun to go

will say I did see post Malone a few years ago,
and he is a phenomenal concert.

artists and everywhere in between.

I just love being at all of them. I don't

I love the feeling of being in front of live music,
whether it's downtown on Broadway at a honky tog or
if it's at a concert. That feeling of everybody singing
the same songs together and being together in that moment
is always so like freeing, and my adrenaline gets going
and I can't fall asleep when I get home.

I can't say I have a favorite. It's every single time.

The two that always come to mind when I think
about my favorite concert Rage Against the Machine in the
nineties amazing. And then I'm a big Lollapalooza fan. That's
my favorite festival, Loalla Palouse up in Chicago. Seeing Daft
Punk at Lallapalooza, and I'm not even a huge Daft
Punk or EDM fan blew my mind.

And I always think, not expecting either of those yeah

is really amazing. This is a program that offers free
parking to national musicians, which is an ongoing battle for

students are checking their phones dozens of times while at school,

and attention spans. Obviously, for any parent out there, you
know what these teachers are going through, and if these
kids are constantly checking their smartphones, they're not doing the

it was gonna be a tight race between Michael B.
Jordan and Timothy Shalomey and even Leonardo DiCaprio, because those

Michael B. Jordan. He won.

Congrats to him. Honestly, if you watch Centners, you know
that he deserved it. He played twins in this very original,
very interesting movie, and I am just so excited that

to watch the one who won Best Picture which was
one battle after another great movie. A new weekend Broadway
street closure started over the weekend.

about my favorite concert Rage Against the Machine in the
nineties amazing. And then I'm a big Lollapalooza fan. That's
my favorite festival, Loalla Palouse up in Chicago. Seeing Daft
Punk at Lallapalooza, and I'm not even a huge Daft
Punk or EDM fan blew my mind.

But there's a comedian named Sebastian Maniscalco, and now Marcelo,
who is an SNL cast member, has done this impression
of Sebastian before.

not expecting Harry Styles to do so well.
