this Monday morning, Happy Saint Patrick's Day. Yes, we're all
back in here after a little spring break time off,
and Ricky Santez has those three things.
Speaker 2 (00:13):

Oasis is a reunion tour will be turned into a film.
So if you can't make the reunion tour, there's going
to be a film about the concert. We don't really
have any details about it, but we know it's gonna
be produced by the creator of Peak Peaky Blinders, Stephen Knight,
and per the announcement, there's no release date yet or
any other information.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
They're being very hush hush about the whole situation.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
They just gave a little tiny tidbit there will be
a film, and they said you're gonna have to wait
for the rest, So I will keep you updated on that.
Speaker 3 (00:50):
Girl.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Scouts have been sued after a study allegedly finds that
heavy metals and pesticides are in one hundred percent of samples.
The study claim to find aluminium, arsenic, lead, mercury, pesticides,
all sorts of stuff in Girl Scout cookies. They tested
cookies that came from California, Iowa, and Louisiana.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
To ensure the validity of the testing.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
They were trying to find multiple variables. Here the results
were similar or the same. According to this filing, the
plaintiff is asking for five million dollars in the suit.
Girl Scouts have released a statement saying that they follow
all food and safety regulations, which doesn't feel very promising,
and that metals are not added.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
To their cookies.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
So I will let you know how that turns out
as well, because obviously we have so many Girl Scouts
out there and we love to support our troops and
to support the girls on the Girl Scouts, So I
will keep you updated on how that goes. The National
Zoo is looking for help to name their new clouded
leopard pup.

all going to a good cause. Voting closes Saturday, April twelfth,
and the winning name will be revealed the next day.

that Monday, what her name is.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
What were those options again, Lara, Tashi and me.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
If you've seen this animal, what name would you go with?
Speaker 3 (02:24):
Tashi?
Speaker 4 (02:25):
She jumps out at you.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
Yeah, she looks like a little Tashi. She's so cute.
Speaker 2 (02:28):

on our Instagram account in the story. She's absolutely adorable.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Jumbo Shrimp is just such a funny team name.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
To me, that's very funny.
Speaker 4 (04:37):
You ever served jumbo shrimp over at the school? No,
the kids wouldn't go over that.
Speaker 7 (04:41):
I feel like that's probably not a good thing. It
could go bad really easily.
Speaker 9 (04:45):
Yeah, plus allergy in some of them.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
Have good shellfish.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Yeah, Michelle knows her stuff, which is good.

but do you take a little home.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
With you at the end of the day. No, sir,

Speaker 3 (05:01):
I feel like Kevin's trying to get Michelle in trouble.
It is stay back, and he's a ray so mischievous.
Speaker 6 (05:07):

Speaker 4 (05:15):
She's very polite.
Speaker 8 (05:16):
Yes, she has a Southern mannerisms, manners, manners, mannerisms.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
We're rusty over here. Give us a break.
Speaker 7 (05:24):
We're the same thing.
Speaker 1 (05:26):

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Ricky in the morning, it's one o seven to five
the River, Good morning.
Speaker 4 (05:38):
We are all back from spring break.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
I do want to highlight one person on this radio
show and something very sweet they did.
Speaker 7 (05:45):
He's looking directly at her.
Speaker 4 (05:47):
Well, it's Ricky. Ricky House sat for us while we
were going.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
We were out of the country for a few days
and Ricky and her fiance AJ stayed at our house.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
Took care about dog.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
Chateau d Mano. It was very nice.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
You guys did. Honestly, if you're ever house sitting for
somebody to take notes.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
They did the sweetest thing.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
Everybody one song Zach doesn't know about this will tell
you what they did.
Speaker 4 (06:08):
It really it was a mind blowing I'll tell you
what they did next to the river.
Speaker 5 (06:13):
The river Ricky, Zach and in the morning.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
My family was out of town. We went to the Bahamas.
It was lovely spring break trip at the Bahamad was great.
And our dog we were hesitant to leave because our dog, Owen,
he has a brain tumor right now and so he's
he's going through a lot. It's all these medicines and stuff.
So we needed somebody trustworthy to stay with him in
the house.
Speaker 7 (06:32):
That's why he didn't ask me out of town.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
You are gone for spring break too. But Ricky and
her fiance aj stepped up in a major way.
Speaker 4 (06:41):
Thank you so much. Welcome being there, not only for him,
but to just you know, stay at the house and
all that.
Speaker 9 (06:45):
It was.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
It was so nice having you, guys, uh, somebody so
reliable back home.
Speaker 8 (06:50):
Ricky tell me the truth before he says anything nice
about you. Did you go through his cabinets?
Speaker 2 (06:54):
I did not go through his cabinets. There's a lot
of cabinets in that house. Zachary would have taken me
a whole day.
Speaker 6 (07:01):
For a week.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
The number two. It was very nice though.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Chateau day mono is what we kept calling it, because
it was very nice to have space.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
That was the number one thing that I kept saying, is.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Like, oh, gow, we have so much space, a great
like if I was in one room, I wouldn't hear AJ.
Speaker 9 (07:15):
In the other.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
I'm glad you guys enjoyed not what we were used
to in our tiny little apartment.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
It was very nice.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
Here was the best part. I mean, yes, they took
care of our dog, which is amazing.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
But the next day when we all woke up, when
the kids woke up, I've got two kids, an eight
year old and the six year old.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
They got so excited because they started finding.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
All of these tiny little plastic axe a lottels the
lizards all over the It was like Eastern morning and
ed hunt.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
They were losing their mind. So we'd send Ricky and
AJ text You're like, what what did you guys do?
Ricky said, there are fifty of them, fifty of them
hitting around the house. We had no idea. They didn't
tell us and I respect anybody.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
It's gonna play a long game like that when you
go through the trouble of hiding, but you're not gonna
be around for the payoffs.
Speaker 4 (07:55):
Oh yeah, that's so cool.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
This initially started as a prank that Zach and I
were going to play.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
On you, Kevin, OK.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
Yeah, but I swayed this into a nicer way of
doing it.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
What Zach wanted to do.
Speaker 7 (08:10):
I just wanted to like hide things all over your house.
Speaker 8 (08:12):
I didn't care what it was at first, and then
she was like going to Amazon.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
No, no, no, you wanted what did I want? Go
buy the most random, messed.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
Up things that you can find at the dog and
just hide them. And I was like, no, no, no,
I'm not going to stress him out like that. And
I found the little axe Lottels because the kids are
saying how much they love accent they do stuffies, how
much they love the ax Lottles, And I was like,
the kids will enjoy this game.
Speaker 7 (08:38):
Did you find all fifty of them?
Speaker 9 (08:39):
No?
Speaker 1 (08:40):
I think we're like thirty eight. And Ricky said she
could give us clues. Yes, I don't think we want
the clues. I want to still be finding them randomly
Christmas time.
Speaker 7 (08:48):
That's my hope.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
I was like, I hope that some of these just
stick around forever.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
In months from now, somebody finds someone goes no way, That's.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
What I want to And you guys did a great
job of hiding him. They pop up in the weirdest place.
Speaker 7 (09:01):
We had a devious plan that she didn't go with.
I was like, tell Kevin.
Speaker 8 (09:03):
That there's fifty, but only hide forty nine of them
so that he goes crazy looking for the last.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
I did actually hide fifty.
Speaker 7 (09:11):
There are fifty in.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
So if your house sitting for somebody with kids, please
take notes. This was I mean truly, that made the
kid's day.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
It was such a cool thing to come.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
Home, so cute that you guys said to me.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
I was like just sitting there smiling and AJ's like,
you did.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
A good reade their day coming back from vacation. They
want to be back, but that that made their day.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Hey, you guys had a lot you were going through.
Speaker 6 (09:30):
Yeah, we did. Thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (09:31):
Again, Ricky just said public appreciation for you and agency
three things you need to Good.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
Morning friends, Happy Saint Patrick's Day. Just after seven o'clock
on this Monday, morning. Ricky's got those three things.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
I got bad news about the Harry Styles Vegas residency.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
And rumor that was going around.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
I talked about this a few weeks ago, but there
were rumors of Harry Styles doing a thirty five date
Las Vegas residency at the Sphere, which would be insane.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
But a spokesperson has.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
Come out and said that it's not happy rep said
there's never been any plans for Harry to be at
the Sphere and.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
That's not a thing that they're talking about. I'm devastated.
I was really expecting.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
That this is gonna happen, because I mean, it makes
sense here, Harry Styles at the Sphere makes sense.
Speaker 3 (10:14):
But it's not happening right now. So I'm sorry to say.
Speaker 2 (10:17):

Speaker 2 (11:22):
Can check out to get in the Saint Patty's Day
spirit today.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
need to know.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
Thank you, Ricky, And I believe Zach is standing by
with a Saint Patrick's Day themed fact, Oh sax facts?
Speaker 3 (11:35):
What could he possibly teach us today?
Speaker 4 (11:37):
We're gonna learn together.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Next down the river, all right, Zach, We're ready for
your Saint Patti's Day themed Zach's fact on't want to
seven five the river.
Speaker 7 (11:46):
So with it being Saint Patti's Day, you know you're
supposed to wear green. Do you know why?
Speaker 3 (11:50):
So you don't get pinched by the liprechauns.
Speaker 7 (11:52):
Well, that is one reason.
Speaker 8 (11:54):
But also it's supposed to honor Ireland's green landscape and
nod to the color of the shamrock. Oh that makes sense,
So wear green on or Ireland and don't get pinched
by the leprechauns.
Speaker 4 (12:06):
This room is getting pinched.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
I'm the leprechaun, so you're all getting pinched.
Speaker 4 (12:10):
No, that's not how it works.
Speaker 7 (12:11):
You can't self proclaim yourself as the leprechauns.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
Okay, you can't make fun of me for being four
to eleven all the.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
Time and then the one time I embrace it, not
let me embrace it.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
The point is I'm the only one wearing green. That's
the point.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
There is this online debate happening over something that seems
silly and trivial, but people are getting really upset about it.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
A couple went out.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
To dinner and the boyfriend had proposed to his girlfriend
at the dinner.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
They fake proposed though. It was all just to get
free drinks, and it worked, And the video is very convincing.
When you look at it, you're like, oh my god,
they really do look like they just got proposed, like
it's a whole thing.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
They're excited, they're hugging, they're spinning in the circle and
like in front of everybody that's clapping for them and
say like yay, congrats, and they got.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
A bunch of free drinks out of it.
Speaker 9 (13:00):
I mean good.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
People online are upset about it.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
Though I know it's not super ethical, but good for them, right,
I think it's.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
That big of a deal.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
But everybody online is saying that they stole from the
restaurant by faking this proposal.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
I feel I think it's innovative.
Speaker 7 (13:13):
It depends on where you go.
Speaker 8 (13:15):
In my mind, if it's like a mom and pop
restaurant where their overhead isn't that much, to me, you're
like stealing. If it's a big corporation they have so
much money they can afford free drinks.
Speaker 3 (13:24):
It looked like a fancier spot, I will say that.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
And if they then hosted the video and obviously it's
getting a lot of attention. That's publicity, that's marketing for
this restaurant wherever they went.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
It doesn't say the restaurant.
Speaker 4 (13:35):
Just assume that they at.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
I just don't see the big deal, especially as somebody
who has, you know, done the fake birthday thing before,
and I feel like that's a normal thing that people
have done of like, oh, it's a person's birthday even
though it's not, and you get free deserves.
Speaker 8 (13:48):
They don't do it like every single like every Friday night,
date night. They go propose at a different restaurant.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
Then they try to scammer.
Speaker 7 (13:54):
Yeah, that's too much.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
We got a call from a guy named Christian. We
didn't put him on the air because he was a
bit of a scammer, like a very uneful way to
get free Chipotle. He said, he gets free he never
pays for Chipotle. But yeah, we're not gonna not gonna
put that out there.
Speaker 6 (14:06):
His method.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
There is a line drinks because you're making the proposal.
Speaker 6 (14:12):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (14:14):
I think it's okay.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
Okay, so everybody in this room is okay with that.
Speaker 8 (14:18):
I kind of put it in the same book as
like you're fake flirting with a bartender for free drinks.
Speaker 7 (14:22):
You're still faking it.
Speaker 4 (14:23):
I've never done that.
Speaker 7 (14:24):
Oh I have we done that?
Speaker 5 (14:29):
Rickie, Zach and Meno in the morning.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Actually Las Cassis, which is near Murphy's Borough, we just
learned that one.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
There's a couple that sparked a debate on social media.
Speaker 2 (14:39):
A boyfriend faked a proposal to his girlfriend for free drinks.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
What are your thoughts on that.
Speaker 9 (14:45):
It's like in good funs and it's cool, but if
they are doing it like for scamming purposes and not cool?
Speaker 5 (14:51):
Right?
Speaker 9 (14:51):
I feel like you said earlier, like about the birthday.
We've all done a birthday. Yeah, fake birthday and our
whole wives like, tell me you have not been somewhere
and somebody's been like it somebody when friends.
Speaker 4 (15:02):
Yeah, it's something that everybody does.
Speaker 9 (15:04):
Yeah. When I was a teenager, I used to actually
do that to my grandmother all the time wherever we were.
Her birthdays in February and I would just be random
like yo to tell the waiter it was her birthday.
Speaker 4 (15:15):
Oh would she react?
Speaker 1 (15:17):
You would be.
Speaker 9 (15:17):
Really mad at me because you wouldn't know that it
was coming for her. And then they would come out
with the cake and you.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
Always take the least, like the one who's not going
to suspect it and the one that's going to be
the most embarrassed.
Speaker 9 (15:30):
You would be so mad at me though.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
Okay, so it.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
Seems like the consensus is this really isn't that big
of a deal that they got free drinks for a
fake proposal.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
It's not the end of the world.
Speaker 4 (15:40):
As long as it's not a pat they're not doing
it every weekend then yeah.
Speaker 9 (15:44):
And like Zach said too, it's not like it's they're
stilling from a mom and pop shop or something like that.
Maybe the people thought they're drinks, So how do we
know that it was a Scand maybe people at the
restaurant were buying drinks and the restaurant actually made money.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
Yeah, hey, that's true. That's a solid point.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
If everybody around them is celebrating with them and just
buying a bunch of drinks more than they plan to,
that's actually a positive.
Speaker 9 (16:05):
Yeah, maybe maybe it's a plus sign. I just like
to look at the positive.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
I don't like that.
Speaker 1 (16:10):
Ashley and last casts, thank you for calling, thank you
for listening, and have a wonderful day.
Speaker 3 (16:15):
Thank you, Happy Patty. What am I doing?
Speaker 4 (16:21):
He slipt into the access. It's even intentional.
Speaker 7 (16:26):
This is not good. You sound like missus doubtfire was
she irish?
Speaker 4 (16:32):

She said, I can't say the favorite Child's honest.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
She's being an honest parent. Kevin lies to us all
the time and says that he doesn't have.

A favorite I really don't, not today.

What's your lucky child?
Speaker 2 (23:45):
I have this figurine that I refuse to drive without.
And it's a long story, but it saved me when
I was younger and getting in trouble from being arrested.
Now I literally carry it with me in my car,
and I think it's protect me in every single car accident.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
I'm got there.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
Figuring of It's like an old statue of Mary, that's broken.
Speaker 7 (24:08):
That's so fitting for you.
Speaker 3 (24:09):
I literally always have it in my glove box compartment.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
I've been in three accidents, all of which should have
been way worse than they actually were, all of which
were not my fault at all.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
They were not.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
But I think that the little figurine saved me that
day when I was younger, and saved me every day.
Speaker 7 (24:26):
Yeah, car my dead dog's collar, but.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
He's had it for so long with you all the time,
literally in.
Speaker 7 (24:38):
My bag everywhere that I go.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
Mine makes less sense than that.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
It's a like a half inch tall little figurine of
Hans from Frozen. We call him Hansei. We take him everywhere.
We just had him on our vacation. We move him
around all the time. The kids always find him. It's
a cute thing we do.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
But that's what I always have on me. That's cute
HANSI from Frozen.
Speaker 3 (24:56):
That's adorable.
Speaker 5 (24:58):
Heiky Zach and Manno. In the morning, it's just.

About time for the daily double tap on this Saint
Patrick's Day morning and it's about an Irish fellow.
Speaker 5 (25:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
I didn't even think about that connection, but Ed Sheeran
is who we're talking about. He performed for everybody at
Tootsies the surprise performance out of Nowhere. He just popped
up on stage and did a few songs for everybody
that was there.
Speaker 3 (25:21):
Very cool moment, very Nashville moment.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
I mean, this doesn't happen just anywhere, but this specific
song I had. I had to pick this one because
it's a cover of Britney Spears.
Speaker 6 (25:31):
Here we Go, just.
Speaker 4 (25:50):
The if You're there. I love it so awesome.
Speaker 3 (25:53):
It's amazing.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
He sounds great, and I love when the crowd sings
with you, like if somebody's on stage and everybody's singing together.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
A cool moment.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
I saw him do a pop up performance at Santa's Pub.
Speaker 4 (26:04):
Oh yes, I remember that, and that a little over
a year ago.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
Yeah you're happening three, I think, Yeah, Wow, it was
a what I think maybe twenty twenty four tie the way.
Very cool moment. It's awesome when things like that pop up.
