Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need every Friday.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Friends.

Speaker 3 (00:03):
It feels so good to say it Happy Friday. We
made it.

Speaker 4 (00:07):
Ricky Sanchez is Riday here with those three things.

Speaker 5 (00:10):
Some of the Oscars presenters have been announced. This is
gonna be a fun one. So Robert Downey, Junior, Ann Hathaway,
Paul Mescal, Will Arnett, Preanco, Choper Jonas, and Gwyneth Paltrow
are all set to present at this year's ceremony. They
join Chase Infinity, Maya Rudolph, Mikey Madison, and a bunch
more who were previously announced. More talent are going to

(00:32):
be joining the show, but they won't announce that until
closer to the actual show. The Oscars are going to
happen on March fifteenth, so they're coming up, and they're
gonna be hosted by Conan O'Brien. I there's something about
Conan O'Brien that is so endearing.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
I love it.

Speaker 5 (00:48):
I really like him.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
I've been a huge Conan guy since I was like
in middle school. I love Conan like.

Speaker 5 (00:53):
Very smart and endearing and sweet. He seems kind. There's
something about Conan O'Brien that I really like to Madness
is back in Nashville for a second year. This is
so fun to get involved with, so more than twenty
local coffee and tea shops are involved in this. It's
a fun way for you to support local and to
try some new signature drinks throughout the month of March.

(01:13):
So you pick up a scorecard at Forevermore Coffee in
East Nashville, and then you stop at each shop or
as many shops as you possibly can to get a
stamp on your card. Some of the spots involved are
obviously Forevermore Coffee, as well as Crema, Surefire Coffee Company,
Cafe Baboo, and a bunch More. A full list of
cafes and their signature drink that they're doing this month

(01:34):
is all available at Macha Madness Nashville dot com. Once
you're done with your scorecard, you just turn it in
by April six and you have a chance to win prizes.
So it's like a fun way to support local and
a fun way to maybe win a prize in the end.
It's kind of a win win win all the way around.
And a new study found that older adults who frequently
listen to music have a thirty nine percent lower risk

(01:56):
of developing dementia. So researchers at Manish University followed more
than ten eight hundred people over the course or over
the age of seventy and found that regular music engagement,
whether they're listening or playing an instrument, so you don't
have to be musically inclined, but both are involved in
this study, they're linked to better memory. They also they

(02:19):
got higher cognitive scores. They significantly reduced cognitive decline. All
positive things. So listening to music, like listening to one
of seven five the River is a positive good thing
for you. I'm rick Sanchez and those are the three
things you need to know.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
Probably my favorite study you've referenced here in a while, Ricky,
I like that one a lot. All right, let's get
back into the music. We're gonna play Tate McCrae and
if you want to go see some music live, we've
got more tickets into freely fested Bridgestone next month, the
Killers Tea Pains. It's gonna be a great time. Within
ten minutes, we'll ask you to call to win that
for the first color of the day.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
I'm the rib Ricky is Zach and Manno in the
morning on the River.

Speaker 5 (02:59):
Have a friend Chelsea in Franklin on theline. Good morning, Chelsea,
Good morning. What are you doing this Friday morning?

Speaker 6 (03:06):
I'm actually I work night shift for nine one so
I'm on my way home.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Wow, are you a dispatcher?

Speaker 6 (03:13):
I am.

Speaker 7 (03:14):
I feel like that has got to be one of
the most stressful jobs.

Speaker 6 (03:17):
You know, you would think that, but I absolutely love it.

Speaker 7 (03:22):
I'm glad because I feel like it's such a cool
thing and like, yeah.

Speaker 6 (03:26):
You're adrenaline, it's made for you.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
I also think it's something that like you gotta love
in order to do for a long period of time,
you know what I mean, because that can be exhausted.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
To deal with some real heavy stuff.

Speaker 7 (03:38):
I'm sure.

Speaker 6 (03:39):
Oh definitely.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
Who is technically your employer, because that's interesting to me
that you said you work for nine one one.

Speaker 6 (03:44):
So it's Williamson County.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
Okay, okay, okay, that's see. We I'm sure I see
everybody's wheels turning. We could ask you eight hundred questions
about this.

Speaker 6 (03:55):
Yeah, definitely, it's not every.

Speaker 5 (03:56):
Day that you talk to somebody who's a dispatcher for
nine one one, because this is like kind of crazy
right now.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
My last question, because this is how I'm picturing it.

Speaker 7 (04:03):
Do you sit in a cubicle with like a little
headpiece on like a Britney Spears microphone.

Speaker 6 (04:07):
I mean, we definitely have the microphone, and we have
like our own little desk area, but they're not cubicle,
so they're not blocked off, so we still have like
that interaction with other people.

Speaker 7 (04:16):
Okay, so you can still hear everybody else on the
phone too.

Speaker 6 (04:20):
Absolutely.

Speaker 8 (04:21):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (04:21):
How many of you are there? Typically to a shift, it.

Speaker 6 (04:25):
Ranges between eight to twelve.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
Oh my god. We don't even have that many people
that work at this radio station.

Speaker 6 (04:34):
We cover the whole county, so yeah, it takes a
lot of people.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Do you ever think that if you have an important
phone call, come in? Do you ever think, like, all right,
chelsea'd be cool? This could be on a Netflix documentary
because you know how they always play the audio.

Speaker 6 (04:46):
It definitely could be.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Yeah, they always play the audio of the nine one.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
Yeah, it's like not funny, but it is funny because
it really could end up being that. It ends up
on a Netflix doecumentary or something like that.

Speaker 8 (04:59):
That's wild.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
Did think about it?

Speaker 3 (05:01):
I wonder if you get like a cut of that,
if they're using your voice. Probably, I mean I would hope.

Speaker 5 (05:06):
So Chelsea's looking for that check. Yeah, I am impressed
that you still have so much energy when you just
did the night shift and you are ready to go
this morning. We appreciate you for what you do. Your
job is really hard, even though you love it like
that is a stressful job. So first off, we appreciate
you so much.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (05:27):
Second off, thank you so much for listening to us
into one oh seven five the River. And third, you
won these tickets to Freely Fast Separate Son Arena.

Speaker 7 (05:34):
Yay, congratulations, The Killers, Tea Pain Dominic, fig Jenell Money.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
It's gonna be a fantastic show. And like Ricky said, you.

Speaker 6 (05:44):
That's like screaming money.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
Yes, I so much fun. Yes, hang on one second,
we're gonna keep you on hold. We got to get
your info. Okay, okay, perfect.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
You guys want to try this with me real quick.
I've never actually said it. Nine one one? What's your emergency?

Speaker 5 (05:58):
That was pretty good, Kevin, actually serious?

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (06:02):
That's the most serious person.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Yeah, that's most serious you've ever been.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Do you guys want to try and you're just gonna
let make me do it?

Speaker 5 (06:08):
No, just you. You're the one who had the idea,
and I think you did a great job.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Frickey is Zach.

Speaker 4 (06:13):
And in the morning, Happy Friday. It's one oh seven
five the River. Every Friday about this time, Zach runs
down a list of all the cool things happening around town.
If you're looking for something to get into, looking for plans,
look no further, Zach.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
What's happening?

Speaker 7 (06:27):
Okay, So I want to start with there is a
crawfish boil happening at Streetcar, which is like this really
cool brewery in Germantown. So they're gonna be serving national
scenes best crawfish on Nashville's best patio Streetcar alongside their
full menu. So that is Saturday from eleven am to midnight.
I love me at Crawfish Boil.

Speaker 5 (06:45):
Do you do you do say it again?

Speaker 2 (06:47):
Crawfish boil?

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Yeah, the first said boil, and I was concerned.

Speaker 7 (06:53):
It literally depends on like how quickly I say it
or in the context if you just asked me to
say then I'll.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
Say bowl bowl.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
I love it.

Speaker 7 (07:01):
Also, the heated Rivalry dance party is happening Saturday night
at Exit In.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
It starts at eight pm.

Speaker 7 (07:06):
It is called Cottage Chemistry, Heated Rivalry dance party. Tickets
are only twenty seven dollars and that is tomorrow night
at Exident. So if you love the show like all
of us on the show did, except Kevin has never
seen it.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
So I haven't gotten will.

Speaker 7 (07:21):
It's happening tomorrow night at Exit In and we also
just really love Exitent and it's a local venue that
I need you to go support so that they stay
in business. And then Sunday is International Women's Day, so
we are going to celebrate with the International Women's Day Market.
It's happening at Southern Gris Brewing in the Nations. It
is Sunday from eleven am to two pm. And I

(07:41):
think this is really cool because they are bringing together
a lineup of like forty local women owned businesses for
a day of shopping, sipping and supporting all of the
incredible talent and hard working women in our area with
forty different local women owned businesses.

Speaker 8 (07:55):
Love.

Speaker 5 (07:56):
I love that. What are you guys going to do
to celebrate me on Sunday?

Speaker 3 (08:00):
And I don't want to ruin the surprise?

Speaker 5 (08:01):
Okay, can't wait?

Speaker 8 (08:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Me and Kevin are in together.

Speaker 5 (08:05):
Can't wait?

Speaker 2 (08:06):
Yeah, and then lastly, I do want to say.

Speaker 7 (08:08):
Saturday night is Nashville SC versus Minnesota, and it is
Barbie Night at Giotis Park. So if you want to
get out on Saturday night, go dress up in all pink.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
It's a Nashville SC game. Love that.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Thank you, Zach and Ricky. We celebrate you every day.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Do you yeah?

Speaker 8 (08:23):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (08:23):
Oh yeah, that's right, Kevin.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Are you ready for a chant? One?

Speaker 8 (08:27):
Two?

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Ricky Ricky rick.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
Do this every morning?

Speaker 8 (08:35):
Three things you need to know? All right?

Speaker 3 (08:37):
He's after seven o'clock, Hey, right after three things.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
It's exciting. It's new music Friday. We have a new song,
brand new music from Harry Styles. His new record is out.
We're going to play something in just a couple of minutes,
but first Ricky Sanchez has those three things.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
Britney Spears was arrested for suspicion of driving under the
influence in California this week. So according to arrest records
from the Ventura Sheriff's Office, she was placed under a
on the evening of Wednesday, March fourth, and then released
early in the morning Thursday, March fifth. The arrest was
listed as quote site and release with a no probation

(09:10):
and she's due to appear in courte for this incident
on May fourth. Seems like Brittany also deleted her Instagram
after the arrest, which is probably for the best because
you know, things can get crazy on there, especially when
something like this happens. But we're thinking of her and
we hope that she's okay and she, you know, if
she was driving under the influence, that she gets the
help that she needs, because it's very important that you

(09:31):
know she's okay. We may be getting a mini Sphere
here in Nashville, the Sphere in Vegas, the big one
that they got that they do all those crazy led
lights on the outside of it. We're in the running
for a smaller version. They're making them across the country.
It's been reported that a smaller one is already going
to happen outside of Washington, d C. In Maryland, but

(09:52):
now it looks like we could possibly be next. The
sources that are saying this are anonymous because it's in
the preliminary phase right now. There's nothing that's one hundred
percent guaranteed. But as always, I will let you know
what's happening once we know more. I like it and
if you haven't updated your dating profile or your picture
in a while, take this as a sign to do that. Today,

(10:13):
nearly seven to ten young men have never updated or
rarely update their dating profile, and dating experts are saying
that this is a huge reason why you're kind of
slowing down in your prospects. You gotta update things. This
simple picture update, maybe an action photo instead of a selfie,
would be a huge benefit to you. On dating apps

(10:36):
if you're on them, so update your profile if you
haven't in a while, update, put some new pictures, answer
some new prompts. I think there's prompts now on some
of them. Just refresh, kind of like how you refresh
your look and you refresh your home. You got to
refresh your dating profile. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are
the three things you need to know.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
Good advice. Thank you, Ricky. Let's play brand new Harry Styles.
It is new music Fridays.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
New album is officially out. Kiss all the time, just
go occasionally.

Speaker 5 (11:03):
He wrote this one about me.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
Oh it's called American Girls. Let's say listen to the
lyrics and picture Ricky to do it. Harry Styles, It's
the River.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
Class is in sessions Sacks facts on.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
So coming up on Sunday.

Speaker 7 (11:22):
It is, in fact International Women's Day, and this year
the theme is give It to Gain, which is emphasizing
generosity and investment to accelerate gender equality. I love it,
so if you want to go give it to Gain,
celebrate women all of the time, but especially on International
Women's Day on Sunday.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Great, Happy International Women's Day to all of the women.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
And there's the fact of the day.

Speaker 5 (11:44):
Thanks Ken. Welcome brought to you by Mark Spain.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Real Estate, Ricky Zach and Menno.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
In the morning on Happy Friday. It's one oh seven
to five the river.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
For so many in the Nashville area, spring break officially starts.

Speaker 5 (11:58):
I guess today after work, Yeah, today is the day.
We want to know what you're doing for your spring break?
Are you going somewhere? Do you have some activities planned
at home? What are you doing to celebrate a week off?

Speaker 4 (12:11):
Six one, five, seven, three seven nine one seven, kids, parents, teachers, students,
What are you doing for spring break?

Speaker 3 (12:18):
We want to hear.

Speaker 8 (12:19):
About Ricky Zach and Minnow in the morning.

Speaker 5 (12:24):
Everybody's excited because spring break is officially here. After school
is done today, but it's basically here. So we want
to know what you're doing to celebrate the week off
Andrew and Nashville. What do you have planned?

Speaker 1 (12:35):
Well, the family and I are Tredick heading down to
key West, Florida for a week.

Speaker 5 (12:40):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
Is the family there with you?

Speaker 8 (12:43):
Now?

Speaker 5 (12:44):
You have got two of them here with me? Now,
are you guys excited?

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (12:47):
You really?

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Right now?

Speaker 5 (12:50):
Thanks?

Speaker 7 (12:51):
So Cute's I feel like that's a long trip with
two kids. Key West is a long trip from here.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
It is a hect of a travel day, that's for sure.

Speaker 5 (12:59):
But it's all worth it once you're there.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
That's what matters, absolutely for it.

Speaker 4 (13:04):
I know Key West is kind of like an island
down there, right, but do you drive down or are
you flying?

Speaker 8 (13:09):
Fly down, drive through the island?

Speaker 3 (13:11):
Okay, okay, that sounds fun.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Drive from Miami me and me.

Speaker 5 (13:16):
Okay, don't do that, Kevin, Andrew, you and your family
have so much fun. Enjoy your spring break in key West.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
Yeah, thanks guys, thank you. I have a good one
heavy spring break.

Speaker 5 (13:27):
Bye.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
Man. It does sound like a long trip with the kids.

Speaker 5 (13:32):
Like I said, once you're there, it's all worth it, though.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
But thankfully iPads exist. Those are a game changer on
travel days.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
That's true.

Speaker 7 (13:39):
I will say that I found a list of things
to do if you were staying home during spring break,
because I know traveling, especially with kids, can be extremely expensive.
So if you're saying get home, they're saying that you
can build a fort and go camping in your backyard.
So like blankets, pillows and chairs. You can do it
in your living room if it's raining outside.

Speaker 5 (13:56):
Or I want to make a fort inside.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
I love this one. They say to do an obstacle course.

Speaker 7 (14:03):
So you can set up an indoor or backyard obstacle
course using household household items to encourage movement, and that's
what the kids love. A challenge ken, Oh my god,
this one is my last, my last one, and it's
my favorite.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
The family Baking Challenge.

Speaker 7 (14:17):
You can host a bake off or have a cooking
day where the kids help prepare meals or snacks.

Speaker 5 (14:21):
Oh go British bakeoff is my favorite ever. That sounds
so fun.

Speaker 7 (14:25):
I feel like it'd be really really sweet and like,
get to hang out with your kids while keeping them entertained.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
These ideas.

Speaker 4 (14:32):
Okay, you're visible, I am six one, five, seven, three, seven,
nine seven.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
What are yourr spring break plans. We want to hear
about them.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
The river.

Speaker 4 (14:46):
Happy spring break to all who celebrate a lot of
people are off for a week after today.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
Lynden in Old Hickory, what do you have planned?

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Diy?

Speaker 5 (14:56):
Wow? Is this your first t.

Speaker 8 (15:00):
And it's my zero day?

Speaker 5 (15:02):
And I'm waving at midnight?

Speaker 2 (15:04):
That's so fine?

Speaker 3 (15:05):
What's a zero day?

Speaker 5 (15:07):
No like the count down?

Speaker 1 (15:12):
Do?

Speaker 5 (15:12):
I love that? That is so exciting, Lindon. What is
your favorite part about Disney?

Speaker 6 (15:19):
The same pop?

Speaker 5 (15:22):
That's gonna be so much fun. We hope you have
the greatest time at Disney for your spring break.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
Thank you, Hey, Linden, make sure you say thank you
to mommy and daddy and whoever's taking you down there,
because it's a real privilege to.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
Get a big, old, huge.

Speaker 5 (15:43):
Bye.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
So cute my zero day. I think I'm going to
adopt that.

Speaker 8 (15:47):
I like that.

Speaker 5 (15:48):
I was very confused too. I'm glad that somebody asked
if I was about to I'm like, what is a
zero day? Is this I'm just not aware of? But
that makes so much sense?

Speaker 4 (15:56):
Yeah, day zero zero Moore, sleep still Disney, Oh By
the way. I was always confused about Disneyland disney World,
which one was where? And then I recently heard disney
Land has La in it and disney World has O. R. L.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
Orlando in it.

Speaker 5 (16:11):
That's a good way to differentiate.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Thanks for the lift.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
We've got John m'laney tickets. Next with the Game of
the Day.

Speaker 8 (16:17):
Yeah, Ricky, Zach and Manow in the morning.

Speaker 5 (16:22):
You're playing Name that tune for Kevin Mano's Game of
the Day on one O seven five the River, presented
by Genesis Diamonds. This isn't tune like music. Normally we
do name that tune for music. This is named that
cartoon for tickets to see John mulaney at the Ryeman
on June thirteenth.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
Name that t o oh, and Gabriel in Inglewood is
on the line.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
Happy Friday, buddy.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
You got any cool weekend or spring break plans.

Speaker 6 (16:46):
We're doing a big like big rotating breakfast starting tomorrow
with our friends.

Speaker 4 (16:50):
So once a month we're gonna make breakfast.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
That lounds so fine.

Speaker 5 (16:54):
That is a door.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
How we get on this, Oh, gos, just come over.

Speaker 4 (17:00):
Well let's see how this game goes. First, you might
hate us here in a couple of minutes. You got
to name two out of three of these cartoon characters
for the John Mulaney tickets.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
All right, Gabriel, your game starts right now. She is
blue and yellow. She struggles with her short term memory.
Name that tune a story from finding.

Speaker 5 (17:27):
On the board.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
You got this, you win.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
He is a big cat that wears a red bandana.

Speaker 3 (17:34):
He has a deep connection to breakfast.

Speaker 4 (17:36):
Speaking of your rotating breakfast, John Mullaney, dang.

Speaker 5 (17:44):
Mano, Gabriel, congratulations, you're seeing John Mullaney at the rhyman.

Speaker 4 (17:53):
Also, I could definitely shut out my wife got the person.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
With good job, wipey.

Speaker 8 (17:58):
We love that.

Speaker 5 (18:00):
Yes, we love when you guys work together.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
Great job, guys, Thank you for calling, thank you for listening,
have a great rotating breakfast.

Speaker 3 (18:06):
And yeah, let's exchange information.

Speaker 5 (18:08):
Okay, three things you need to know?

Speaker 4 (18:12):
All right, friends, here we go, just after eight o'clock
on this Friday morning.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
So happy it's Friday. Ricky's got those three things.

Speaker 5 (18:19):
The first song from Anne Hathaway's pop star horror film
has been released. So The song is called Burial, and
it's the first single from her upcoming psychological thriller mother
Mary that she's going to be a part of. It
was written by Charlie XCX, George Daniel Jack Antonov and
Anna Hathaway herself, so it very much like you listen
to it and you can hear this is an actual

(18:40):
pop hit. Here's a clip of it.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
This is this is your.

Speaker 4 (18:52):
Okay all those people that wrote it.

Speaker 5 (18:56):
This is just a clip. It's just a clip. Obviously
you can hear the Charlie XDX influence there because it's
very like kind of dance pop vibes that are happening.
Like I said, only a clip, but they have released
a short teaser video that shows her performing the song
in the movie, It's all about a pop star that's

(19:17):
reconnecting with an estrange best friend before doing a big
comeback performance. Movie hits theaters for a limited run in
April for April to seventeenth, and then you can watch
it everywhere. April twenty fourth, Present Tents has reopened in
a new location starting today. The restaurant is known for
Japanese inspired small plates and natural wines. They relocated from

(19:40):
Heart Street, so now you can find them across from Pestise.
So go celebrate the beginning of Spring break or the
beginning of the weekend and go to Present tense and
check them out if you haven't yet. We're all about
checking out new places. We obviously consistently recommend new places
for you to check out. And even though this one
is instant new, oh, necessarily it's in a new spot

(20:01):
so you can see exactly what it looks like. And Kevin,
this is specifically for you, since your whole family is
vegetarians and you love popcorn so much. Well, yes, okay, scientists,
keep going, scientist, this is not the time, Kevin. Scientists
in China and Australia have developed a tomato that smells

(20:21):
like popcorn. So these popcorn s and and tomatoes they grow,
taste and look like a typical tomato, but they just
smell like buttery popcorn. Apparently the goal here is that
tomatoes lose their aroma and flavor during a transportation and
storage process, so they want to like genetically modify them
so that they stay like smelly in a good way

(20:43):
by the time you get them. But it's kind of
turned into smelling like buttery popcorn instead.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
I'm curious.

Speaker 5 (20:49):
You can have them sniff it and pretend like they're
eating popcorn. You're trying to get them not eat as
much popcorn. The cake.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
My wife and my kids they eat popcorn every single night,
and I feel like that's too much popcorn.

Speaker 5 (20:58):
I'm Ricki Sancho's and those are the three things you
need to know.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
Thank you so much, Ricky.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
You thought we'd have flying cars in twenty twenty six,
but no, we have popcorn scented to Maato on the.

Speaker 8 (21:08):
River, Ricky, Zach and manow in the morning time for
the leftovers.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
We do it on Fridays.

Speaker 4 (21:13):
Unused topics from the week, things that we just didn't
have time for on the show.

Speaker 3 (21:18):
We cram them in here.

Speaker 4 (21:19):
We each get thirty seconds, and Ricky Sanchez is gonna
kick it off.

Speaker 5 (21:22):
There's something about the way that you just said cram
them in here that really made me uncoming, and I
need you to know that before I start. But I'm
gonna tell you Yelp's top wedding trends for twenty twenty six. Okay,
a new report from Yelp finds that couples marrying this
year are really ditching traditions. I know this has been
a thing that's kind of been happening for a few years,
but they're embracing personal style, so instead of plated dinners

(21:46):
like chicken or fish, they're sticking to like street food
carts and build your own taco bars. They show that
sustainability is super in a Searches for lab grown engagement
rings are up four hundred and thirty six percent, and
vintage wedding dresses those searches have increased forty one percent.
So people are looking for personal style while staying sustainable

(22:08):
and kind of just not sticking to what we know
happens with wedding trends, which honestly makes me very happy.
It is probably a lot cheaper, sure.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
We love budget, probably a big part of it, all right.
Who wants to go next, Zachary, I'll go so.

Speaker 7 (22:21):
Unclaimed Baggage revealed the top fines left behind in luggage
and just an FII. There is an unclaimed baggage store
only two hours away from Natal.

Speaker 3 (22:29):
I want to go out.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
It's really cool. It's in Scottsboro, Alabama.

Speaker 7 (22:33):
But apparently the thing at the very top of the
list is T shirts. More specifically, men's T shirts were
found most frequently, followed by pants and.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Then jewelry and then mobile phones.

Speaker 7 (22:44):
The most expensive thing that was found was a ninety
nine point nine to nine percent pure gold bar.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
What.

Speaker 8 (22:52):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
And then there was a lot of jewelry.

Speaker 7 (22:54):
Left behind, like forty three thousand dollars worth, and then, Ricky,
you'd be very sad about this.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
There were also a lot of La boo boos left.

Speaker 7 (23:00):
Yeah, so you want to go to the Unclaimed backing store.
You can get some little boo boo's there.

Speaker 5 (23:04):
I can't believe that people love their boo boo's behind
the store.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
You just you go buy people's old stuff.

Speaker 5 (23:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (23:10):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (23:10):
I don't know what's in there though, right, isn't it
like all package So.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
It's like kind of like Goodwill?

Speaker 5 (23:15):
Oh, it's up the suitcase and you know what I
was thinking about. There's like a UPS store or something like.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
That where you can Amazon.

Speaker 5 (23:22):
Yeah, you get like all of the packages that are
still packaged. You don't know what's inside, but you can
buy it for super cheap.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
This is also fascinating to me. I want to go
to all these.

Speaker 5 (23:29):
Places like sign me up for everywhere? All right, Ken,
what do you got?

Speaker 4 (23:34):
Thirty seconds hung the list? I just really personal anecdote here.
I want to ask you guys Am I a bad
person for not one? I got the jury duty summons
in the mail and I don't want to go. I
want to get dismissed. Am I a bad person? Is
that my civic duty to have to do it?

Speaker 5 (23:47):
Yes? I don't think it makes you a bad person.
Doesn't everybody duty?

Speaker 1 (23:51):
Who?

Speaker 2 (23:51):
I feel like it would be so fun.

Speaker 5 (23:53):
It depends on the case.

Speaker 7 (23:54):
You get the day off, they pay you, you get
free lunch. I feel like you should do it if you're.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
A civic I looked into it. These are the reasons
that people will get it dismissed.

Speaker 4 (24:05):
Caregiver responsibilities, if you have plan travel, if it's going
to cause you financial issues like you can't afford to
miss work, or medical reasons.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
Those are the main reasons people.

Speaker 5 (24:14):
You don't have any of that.

Speaker 3 (24:15):
I don't check any of those bobs.

Speaker 5 (24:16):
You gotta do it, keV. Sorry, all right, I can't
wait to hear all about it.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
I might get dismissed. As a member of the media,
I might get dismissed. I'm gonna kind of go with
that's true.

Speaker 5 (24:27):
We'll see do we get dismissed because we're part.

Speaker 7 (24:29):
Of media Sometimes, especially if it's like a high profile
case that you've heard about, and you know things about
you can get dismissed.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
Yeah, we'll see. I'll keep you guys posted. There we go.
That concludes the leftover.

Speaker 1 (24:40):
Ricky is Zach and Man in the morning on.

Speaker 4 (24:45):
Time for the Daily Double Tap. I've been wanting to
play this one for a while. Ricky and Zach are
finally giving me the green light.

Speaker 5 (24:51):
I just I like it, Kevin. I think it was
your enthusiasm behind it that kind of made us a
little worried.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
I've wondered about this forever.

Speaker 5 (25:01):
You're a little too into this.

Speaker 4 (25:03):
And so when I stumbled across it on Instagram, it
was a real Eureka moment.

Speaker 3 (25:08):
I'm not the only one having the thought out there.
So here we go today's Daily Double Tap.

Speaker 1 (25:12):
Is it pet smart or pets smart?

Speaker 3 (25:16):
Are you saying that pets are smart?

Speaker 5 (25:19):
Or are you saying you're a mark for pets? Why?

Speaker 4 (25:34):
I know, like aggressive music isn't for everybody, but that
question alone, the rage just flows through me.

Speaker 5 (25:40):
I will tell you that the part that hits me
is when he says I need answers. Yeah, screaming it
because there's so many other things that I think about that.
I'm like, I need answers for this. Why is it
like this that's smart or pet smart? I mean, I
feel like if you google it, it'll tell you.

Speaker 3 (25:57):
You're probably right.

Speaker 4 (25:58):
I'd probably rather just be angry, you know what I mean,
you just.

Speaker 5 (26:02):
Want to be angry. It says the official name is
pet Smart.

Speaker 4 (26:06):
Okay, I just looked it up too, and you know what,
it's probably pretty obvious because of the font because pet
is red and smart is blue, so it kind of
differentiates two different words there.

Speaker 5 (26:15):
It did say, though, that they rebranded in two thousand
and five to emphasize okay, smart parts because it used
to be formatted differently the pet smart like, and it
used to be a little more.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
Confusing, for it was just all one color.

Speaker 5 (26:27):
And yet here we are it's still confusing.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
For it's still very confusing.

Speaker 8 (26:33):
