Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three days.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
You need to know.
Speaker 3 (00:02):
All right, I'm just getting things started here on this
Thursday morning. Thank you for joining us. It's already Thursday.
This week is cooking if you ask me. Ricky's right
here with those three things, presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
Thank God, it's cooking.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
It is man.
Speaker 1 (00:16):
Carol G will receive a special award at the AMAS
this year. She's getting the International Artist Award of Excellence,
becoming the first artist since Whitney Houston in two thousand
and nine to earn the honor. Producers for the show
praised her in a statement, saying she has quote redefined
what it means to be a global artist and helped
take Latin music to us unprecedented heights. The singer just
(00:39):
recently became the first Latina artist to headline Coachella and
sold two million tickets in four days for her upcoming
Trumpetour stadium run. Really impressive stuff. So if you want
to see her get her award, the twenty twenty six
AMAS are going to air on May twenty fifth on
CBS and Paramount Plus. Congrats to Carol G. That is
just quite the feat, so exciting. The first wah wah
(01:02):
in Nashville is going to officially open next month. Also
very exciting. So it's been four years since they announced
that wah Wah was going to move to Nashville in
some way, in some capacity, that they were going to
start opening their convenience stores here in the area. Now
they've built their first one in Clarksville and it's set
to open on June eighteenth. God, I love a wah Wah.
(01:24):
So this is really good stuff. They're also currently hiring
for their forthcoming Bellevue location, So if you're looking for
a job, now is your time to go ahead and
apply for that. I don't know when it's going to open.
There was no information on exactly when that's gonna be,
you know, the next like we know what's the next one,
we just don't know when it's going to open. So
June eighteenth and Clarksville check out the new wah Wah
(01:45):
and gen Z. They are bringing back the hacky sack.
Hackey sacks are popping up across high schools and college campuses.
Teens are forming clubs and spending lunch breaks playing Hackey sack.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
Trend exploded over just the It has a few weeks,
especially in the Northeast, demand has gotten so intense that
stores are reportedly selling out of hacky sacks, and some
online sellers are claiming that they just like don't have
the capacity to keep up with a hacky sack demand
right now. So parents are hyped about this because obviously
this means teams are getting outside, they're socializing face to face,
(02:21):
they're spending less time glued to their phones, and obviously
if the parents are millennials, it just brings you back. Sure,
it brings you back to those hacky sack days. I'm
Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you need
to know.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
And we were talking yesterday about how the nineties style
like fashion is back and now these yeads have hacky
sacks as well.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
That's so cool.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
I was defining who is using hacky sacks too.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
I was never very good at a hackey sack, and
I always felt really like embarrassed by that, so then
I just wouldn't try.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
And I just we aren't really coordinated. What that's so crazy.
I didn't ever expect that about you.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Thank you. Ricky has got fun carpenter.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
I have no rhythm, can't dance I can't move anything.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
We have Alex Warren tickets out.
Speaker 5 (03:04):
Of the way for the first caller, Ricky, Zach and
Manno in the morning on the River.
Speaker 6 (03:10):

Speaker 1 (03:13):
That's good. That's good, Bob and Murphysboro. Welcome to one
of seven five of the River. We love to hear
that you're shocked. I'm assuming that you guys have been
trying to get these Alex Warren tickets from us.
Speaker 7 (03:23):
I have.
Speaker 6 (03:24):
I've been trying everybody.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
Okay, are you trying for you or for somebody else?
Because we've learned that a lot of kids like Alex.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
Warren myself, Okay, I am it's.
Speaker 6 (03:33):
All for you.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Have you seen him before?
Speaker 2 (03:37):
I have not.
Speaker 6 (03:38):
I just love his music.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
We love him too. He played River on the rooftop
for us. What was that two years ago?
Speaker 1 (03:43):
Two years ago? Yeah, before he really blew up.
Speaker 6 (03:46):
Man, I've been in the last two years, so I'm
just missing.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
Well.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
I can say there's good news for you because you
are the first caller of the day this morning, Bob,
You're getting tickets to see Alan Reached doing arena fantastics.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
Man, I'm so excited We're excited for you, truly, What
are you doing today?
Speaker 4 (04:06):
Tell us a little more about Bob.
Speaker 6 (04:08):
I'm just literally gotten.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
That's why added the word what do you do Bob?
Speaker 6 (04:12):
Or's the hospital here?
Speaker 4 (04:13):
Murvy's well, oh amazing?
Speaker 1 (04:15):
Are you a nurse? Are you working out the front office?
Speaker 6 (04:19):
Facilities management? I'll try to keep the hospital running.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
Very important.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
Ricky and I are both big fans of The Pit,
and anytime we have a hospital worker on the line,
we have to talk about the Pit. Do you watch
that show?
Speaker 6 (04:29):
I just started watching. I got like halfway through the
first season.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
So good.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
You have so many good moments that are coming your way.
I want to rewatch it again. I've seen it twice
all the way through already, Bob, I'm obsessed.
Speaker 6 (04:42):
It's a great show, very realistic.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Everybody says, oh jinks, Kevin, you owe me a million dollars.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
Oh no, I didn't know that was the rule of
jez it.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
You got these Alex Morn tickets?
Speaker 6 (04:58):
All right?
Speaker 3 (04:59):
Great day work today, man, and have so much fun
at the show. We're happy for you, We're pumped that
you got and we're gonna put you on hold to
get all your infoka.
Speaker 6 (05:06):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
Of course, one second, Ricky, would you settle for a dollar?
Speaker 1 (05:11):
I'll take a dollar. Just can't be choosers. You're a
horrible negotiator, Kevin. It's rough out here. Dollar's gonna get
me one step closer to another chomp. Okay, I'll take it.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
A meat stick. We've got more of these tickets tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Last year, sever my fiance AJ essentially wants to start
a new wedding trend, and I don't know how I
feel about it.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
Is this really something that you're As far as you know,
nobody's doing this.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
As far as I know, no one's doing this. And
he specifically wants to do it for our elopement. He
has no argument for it other than he just wants
to do it. And I just don't know how I
feel about it.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
The elopement's coming up. I gotta say, I don't know
what this is, but I typically agree with AJ. I know,
so I don't know what it is. Yeah, we're gonna
find out next, but already I'm on board.
Speaker 4 (05:58):
I can tell you that.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Splain it all next. On one to seven five of
the River.
Speaker 5 (06:03):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the
very lucky.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Right now, it's one O seven five the River. You're
about to hear about a hot new wedding trim. You're
the first to hear about this. Aj Ricky's fiance AJ
is nothing about a trendsetter, and they've got their elonement
coming up, and he wants to do something that apparently nobody's.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Doing, nobody that I know of, at least, And he
just sprung it on me in the middle of a
conversation last night. But I don't know where it came from.
He doesn't want to show me what he's wearing for
the wedding.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
Oh, I've picked.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
It out, Like I helped him pick out what he's
going to wear, and helped him find the vibe and
the idea of like what we both thought made sense
for the wedding. Okay, and he ordered everything that he
needed to order. He got it all in. But he
doesn't want me to see the full thing together. And
that makes me so nervous.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
That's interesting. I wonder if he's got like a surprise planned,
if there's a piece to this outfit that you're not
aware of.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
I said to him, like, are you just upset because
it's the bride's day and the bride does that because
that's typically the way that it goes is you don't
see your bride before the wedding. You don't see your
weding dress. You don't know what it looks like, nothing
like that. And it's been killing me to not show
him what my wedding dress looks like. I want it
to so bad and we're not. I'm not showing him,
(07:26):
so we're holding true to that tradition. So I was like,
are you just jealous because it's more of a me
day than a you day and you just want to
have your moment and he was like, no, I just
don't want to show you, and it's freaking me out.
I want to make sure that it actually fits correctly
and looks the way that it had like that I
have it in my head and he won't show me.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
Okay. I normally am in agreement with AJ on most things.
Love AJ don't. I don't like this idea because it's
going to also take away from that moment where he
sees you in the dress for the first time, because
that's the big moment where you know, you get his reaction.
He's crying, he's about to marry you, and so now
he's just adding to that moment. Now you have to
(08:04):
also comment on what he's wearing. It just kind of
like waters him down a bit in my opinion.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
I agree, And like I said, I'm nervous because I
want to make sure it actually fits the way that
I think it does in my head and like make
sense and works. Yeah, because we're not doing a traditional
tux or anything like that. He's not wearing a suit
because it's a beach wedding. It's very like chill vibes
that we're going for, and I think it's gonna be
a very elevated, nice beach style, But I don't know
for sure unless I see him in the outfit that
(08:32):
we picked out.
Speaker 3 (08:33):
I still think he's gonna have some sort of accoutrement
that you're not. Like, he's gonna have like a flavor
flave clock or something that he wants to surprise you with.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
We're getting married on a cliffall toss him over. There's
no way that man knows better than to do anything
insane like that. But maybe he does have some kind
of like surprise setup. I don't know. But then if
he doesn't have a surprise setup. Then I shouldn't think
that he's gonna have a surprise setup because then I'm
gonna be let down. This is horrible.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
I think he can still make it a big moment.
I think he can, like eventies you seeing him in
these clothes for the first time, but do it at
home before you guys leave on the trip, Like, okay,
you know what I mean. Like maybe yeah, like this
Sunday night, six o'clock, close your eyes, you're gonna see it.
And they're like, he'll still have his moment. It just
won't step on your moment.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
Okay. I also don't hate the idea of even doing
that on the wedding day before we leave to go
to where we need to get very little.
Speaker 3 (09:22):
Time to fix whatever's broken. Yep.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
And that's a hymn problem I'm getting. I've moved through
the shock and the confusion to like the I will
be angry and I will just have to deal with it,
and that's fine.
Speaker 6 (09:36):
A J.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
I know you listen to the show, buddy, don't do this.
Don't do this.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
Congrats on the upcoming from himself.
Speaker 4 (09:42):
Yeah, don't go it, man, all right, I'm on your
on team Ricky Here.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Three things you need to thank you so.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
Much for starting your Thursday with us. Glad you're here.
Ricky's got those three things. Presented by Mark Spain real Estate.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
Savannah Banana Star Jackson Olsen is going to be joining
Dancing with the Star. He's the second basement for Georgia's
Savannah Banana's baseball team, and he's got quite the following
on social media because of it. It's tough to try
to get to a Savannah Banana's game. You have to
basically win the lottery. They do a lottery and then
they pick you and then you can get a ticket
to go. It's so hard. I've tried so many times.
(10:17):
So this is actually a really awesome way to be
able to see him without going to a game. Lick
Jackson being part of the Savannah Bananas. We already know
that he can dance and put on a show, so
this is gonna be a fun way for him to
explore the ballroom style of dance, which is something he's
spoken openly about wanting to do. He said that he
would be very interested in being part of Dancing with
the Stars, so really pumped for him that it's actually happening.
(10:39):
He is now the third contestant to be announced, alongside
Sierra Miller and Maura Higgins from Summerhouse and Love Island UK.
Shakespeare in the Park is coming back this summer. You
can catch a Midsummer Night's Dream at Centennial Park Fanshell
from August twentieth through September twentieth. They do the shows
as pay what you will for general admission. They do
(11:00):
recommend twenty dollars per ticket, which I think is extremely
affordable during these very expensive times. They do have reserve
seating at a higher price, and they're currently a lot
available for purchase because they just announced it. So if
you go to the Nashville Shakespeare Festival website, you can
buy yourself some tickets and go check that out. They
do so well every year, and every year, I'm like,
(11:22):
I'm gonna go at some point, I think this summer
is the time, and we have yet another Grillos Pickles collab.
They are just doing collabs left and right and sender
and back. It's everywhere, no matter where you go, there's Grillos.
They join forces with Smoothie King and are rolling out
of Pickle Smoothie ahead of International Pickle Day on May sixteenth.
(11:44):
I had no idea there was an International Pickle Day,
but I'm so excited to know that that exists.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
I'm shocked that you, of.
Speaker 4 (11:50):
All people I know, that be like Christmas for you.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
Zach and I are obsessed with pickles. So the smoothie
mixes grillos pickles with bananas or organic kale and coconut water.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
I try it.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
I will try anything once, especially if it's got pickles
in it. You can grab the smoothie now, and if
you'd rather just try a sample, you could always just
get yourself a nice free four ounce pickle smoothie in
store sample on Pickle Day instead. But a lot of
people so far say it's really good, so give it
a try. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three
things you need to know.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
When is that again?
Speaker 3 (12:24):
When is the Pickle Day?
Speaker 1 (12:25):
May sixteeth?
Speaker 3 (12:26):
Oh my gosh, okay, so like weekend this Saturday? Wow,
all right, get yourself a pickle smoothie. Here's Bieber. Thank you, Ricky.
We're getting back into the music. Zach's out today, so
I've got the fact for you. Zack's Fax presented by
Kevin Mano. Next, we're learning class is in.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
Sessions Sachs Facts brought to you by Mark Spain.
Speaker 4 (12:46):
Real Estate on one O seven five.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
The River brought to you by Marx s Bain real
Estate and Kevin man O Zach is out today. So
I've got the fact this one is timely. There's a
town in Alaska. I think it's pronounced oo kiak Vic.
It's very hard to read. There's about forty five hundred
people that live there. It's the northernmost city in America.
They just saw their last sunset for eighty four days.
They have entered their annual period of endless sunlight. The
(13:09):
sun will be up on their small town until August second.
So crazy, I know, it's so it's hard to wrap
your mind around. And then they deal with the opposite
of this in the winter there's no sun from November
to January. That would be brutal.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
No, the opposite is really what would like just send
me off a cliff.
Speaker 3 (13:24):
I mean, they'd both be very hard. But that much darkness, no,
thank you.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
Darkness all the time the day's on ends.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
That's I can't imagine anything more depressing. Wild the capital
of seasonal depression disorder.
Speaker 5 (13:36):
There you go, there's your Fact of the Day Ricky, is,
Zach and Manno in the Morning.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
On how have you bombed a job interview? That's our
question right now. It's one O seven to five the River.
We asked because we saw there's a story going around.
A guy was asked what his weakness is and he answered.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
With oreos, that's a funny answer, but I don't think.
Speaker 4 (13:59):
That's what they meant.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
He completely blacked out, he said, and he knew that
question was coming up. He just he was like, oreos,
I can't stop beating them. I'll drink an entire junk
of milk.
Speaker 4 (14:09):
I think I'd hire that guy.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
But how did you bomb?
Speaker 4 (14:12):
In interviews?
Speaker 3 (14:13):
Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven
have you ever bombed?
Speaker 7 (14:17):
One?
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Ricky?
Speaker 4 (14:18):
Oh for sure, Yeah, me too.
Speaker 3 (14:20):
Let us know. Christina Aguileres one of seven five River.
Speaker 5 (14:23):
Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky, Zach
and Menno in the Morning, Have you.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
Ever bombed a job interview? It's one of seven five
of the River. It's very stressful to be in an
interview and it just it leads to very awkward situations.
Morgan and Laverne, how have you bombed a job? Interview? Before.
Speaker 7 (14:43):
I wouldn't say that I bombed it, but I think
I kind of uh rocked the interviewer perspective.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Oh okay, tell us what I.
Speaker 8 (14:53):
Am very much a I am woman, hear.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Me war, and I love anything you can do, I
can do better.
Speaker 7 (15:00):
I was in an interview and he asked.
Speaker 8 (15:03):
Me if I can drive a box truck and.
Speaker 7 (15:06):
I said, yes, I can, and he said, well, not
many women can do that job comfortably. And I said, well,
I guarantee I can drive miles around you and do
it ten times, so, oh my gosh. And he looked
at me and said, you know what, I think you
might be overqualified. I don't think this is going to work.
Speaker 8 (15:26):
And I said, you know what, I agree.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
Do you think he just felt like emasculated by your
u your threat.
Speaker 8 (15:34):
It wasn't a threat. It was brutal, honest.
Speaker 1 (15:37):
See that's what men think though, because that's right where
Kevin's brain wet was to threat. It was just that
she was confident.
Speaker 3 (15:44):
So why would you ever say that to somebody that
you're trying to get a job from. Why would you
criticize their skills and say you're so much better than them? Anything?
Speaker 1 (15:50):
Hey criticize her first.
Speaker 7 (15:52):
It wasn't criticizing, it was just being honest. I was
honest about my capabilities.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
Wow, and I know what I can do and what
I bring to the table. And I mean, I'm certified
on a.
Speaker 8 (16:04):
Bunch of equipment and I'm five foot three, one hundred
and forty pounds.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
Like, I'm okay, Morgan, my girl.
Speaker 7 (16:11):
Like I'm the most positive person you'll meet. Like, I'll
be your best friend, but I'll also whoop some.
Speaker 8 (16:16):
Butt for you.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
Morgan.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
You and I would get along very well.
Speaker 4 (16:21):
Yeah, you guys are cut from the same class.
Speaker 7 (16:22):
So I listen to you guys every morning, and Ricky,
I would love to hang out with you.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
We're gonna make that happen. We're gonna make that happen
one day. Make sure you follow me on Instagrammable. We'll
go get coffee together or something, or maybe a drink.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
Or too, or just beat some people up.
Speaker 7 (16:35):
Hey, I don't drink coffee. I'm not allowed to drink coffee.
I don't need to.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
Okay, we can go do some tea.
Speaker 7 (16:41):
Or maybe a Margarito.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
Oh, Margarita's. I'm in and we're doing Margarita's.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
Morgan, yes, ma'am, And hey, hey, hey, before we let
you go, Ricky's middle name is Morgan.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
It is yeah, my middle name is Morgan, so we
have that in common too, and.
Speaker 7 (16:54):
You know that's not a common name, and it's also
a unisex name.
Speaker 1 (16:58):
Yes, yeah, my family would full unix for my name.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
Right, Ricky Morgan, thank you for calling you. Guys are
going to be best friends. I can feel it already,
y'all have a great day.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
You two love.
Speaker 7 (17:10):
Thank y'all.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
I'm Morgan. I felt for a second They're like there
were two of you that I was arguing with.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
And that is what you said her right too. I
was like, oh my gosh, yes, this is me, this
is me, I am you. You are me Morgan real quick.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
I had a period of time where I was in
charge of hiring interns at an old race.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
Why you do that?
Speaker 4 (17:30):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (17:30):
It's a bad idea, but there was legitimately one hundred
percent there was a kid I'll never forget. He asked
during the interview process, what like the drug testing policy was?
And that's that's not something you want to do during
an interview?
Speaker 4 (17:42):
How did you bomb a job? Interview?
Speaker 3 (17:44):
Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine.
Speaker 5 (17:47):
Wake up happy with Ricky, Zach and Manno in the
morning on the River.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
Heather and Dixon is on the line right now. It's
one O seven five the River. We're talking about job interviews.
How'd you bomb them? Did you bomb?
Speaker 9 (18:01):
Well?
Speaker 6 (18:02):
Sort of?
Speaker 2 (18:02):
So.
Speaker 9 (18:03):
I think the funniest job interview question I ever had
is I was interviewed at a at a company when
I was living.
Speaker 8 (18:10):
In Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Speaker 9 (18:12):
Very religious apparently there they asked me if I had
any problems with LDS. I was in my early twenties.
I had no idea what they were talking about. Yes,
I responded, I don't have any medical problems that I'm
aware of.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
That is phenomenal that it's like an AO answer to
I was in my early twenties.
Speaker 7 (18:38):
I had no idea.
Speaker 3 (18:40):
Did they clear it up? Did they explain it to
you right there on the spot, or No?
Speaker 9 (18:43):
They absolutely did not.
Speaker 8 (18:45):
They just laughed and thought.
Speaker 6 (18:46):
I had a great sense of humor.
Speaker 1 (18:47):
Oh my god, So it worked in your favor.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
It genuinely did.
Speaker 9 (18:51):
And I had no idea what they were talking about
until I don't know, about a week into the job
and somebody's walking down the hallways singing in time, I
believe is what they call it.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
Oh my god, I'm I'm dying, laughing, my I'm crying.

going to you have any issues with LDS and you
going I don't. I don't have any medical problems.
Speaker 9 (19:12):
Actually like six of them.
Speaker 8 (19:17):
And backing and laughing, and I had no idea. You're fantastic.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
Cry yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
And then the next follow up question is what do
you cook?
Speaker 8 (19:28):
Because they have a full kitchen in the office, and
I'm like, I love to cook. And I'm like, oh,
well you're hired.
Speaker 3 (19:33):
Oh my gosh, what a strange interview.
Speaker 5 (19:35):
That's so weird.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
It was one I'll never forget.
Speaker 9 (19:38):
And I figured I share you guys are talking about it.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
No, that was phenomenal. That really got me.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
Ricky is just wiping tears out of her face right now.
Speaker 8 (19:47):
Thank you for.
Speaker 3 (19:48):

It's all about pairs, pairings, duos. Josh and Bowling Green

Speaker 6 (20:29):

Speaker 3 (20:29):
How about y'all good? I will say I feel like
people have been really crushing this game this week. It's
been easy for everybody, so I made today's slightly more difficult.
Speaker 6 (20:38):
Oh ma, man, we should start tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (20:42):
I still think you're gonna do just fine. You need
three out of five of them. I'm gonna give you
the first half of an iconic duo. You have to
fill in the blank. Are you ready?
Speaker 6 (20:52):
Let's give it a job?
Speaker 3 (20:53):
All right, Josh, Your game starts right now and again.
The game is called Pear Pressure. Singing Duo. Established in
the sixties. Simon and Blank, Our Fun nice a publishing house.

Nice, You're gonna get it no matter what.
Speaker 8 (21:48):
Josh awesome, awesome.
Speaker 6 (21:50):
Thank you all so much that that second one was tough.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
Yeah, okay, there was a little bit of difficulty in there.
I guess tomorrow. I don't even know how to make
this game hard. It's it's too easy. But you congratulations.
You're going to see Thomas Rhtt and Nile Horn.
Speaker 8 (22:02):
Awesome.
Speaker 6 (22:03):
Thank you all so much.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
I'll have a great day, Yes you too. Hold on, okay,
I'm gonna get Trim.
Speaker 3 (22:07):
Poe all right, Ricky, would you know this one a
detective show found on TNT Resoli and isn't it ile?
Speaker 7 (22:15):
God?
Speaker 3 (22:16):
I yeah? Isles?
Speaker 4 (22:17):
No, Isles? I mean you were right there. So I
don't know how to make this game hard, but.
Speaker 3 (22:21):
Be here tomorrow if you want to take it, same time,
same game. Three things you need to know, all right,
Just after eight o'clock, Ricky's got those three things? Presented
by Mark Spain Real Estate.
Speaker 1 (22:31):
Grown Ups three is happening. Netflix has revealed that it's
in development right now. Actually, it's rumored that Adam Sandler,
Chris Rock, David Spade, Kevin James, and Rob Schneider could
all return. While that part is only rumors, we do
know that Adam Sandler will co write the movie. The
first two Grown Ups movies were major hits in the
(22:52):
box office. They earned a combined five hundred and eighteen
million dollars worldwide. Kind of nuts. I actually didn't know.
This is sounds so bad. I love Adam Sandler so much.
I didn't know that there wasn't already three of these. Oh, like,
it felt like there were so many of them already.
Speaker 3 (23:08):
Yeah, No, I.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
Didn't know that there wasn't three already. But we're getting
a third one. I'm gonna let you know when it's
available for you to stream on Netflix. Oracle is planning
to start their construction on their pedestrian bridge this August.
This bridge is gonna connect Germantown to their future East
Bay campus by linking Taylor Street near Newhoff to River
North Boulevard. So it's gonna link your right across the river,
(23:32):
a very easy way to get back and forth. It's
expected to take about two years to complete, And we
got to talk about the new cosmetic trends. Right now,
everyone's focused on their ears. Men in Russia are getting
cosmetic surgeries to give themselves cauliflower ear. If you don't
know what that is, it happens when you're a wrestler, Mma,
fighter box or something along those lines. It's cartilage and
(23:55):
blood vessels that break up in your ear. They pop out,
and then they harden there trying to get them to
look just like cauliflower ear because they think it makes
them look tough.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
Sure, okay, that's weird.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
I don't understand it. My fiance has cauliflower ear. It's
not nearly as big as some of these men do,
but like it's hard and it's it's like shaped, all funny.
Speaker 3 (24:17):
Don't recommend it.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
Hey, Jay, I love your ears, but I just don't
know why you would cosmetically get them done. It's just
very strange to me. But for women in South Korea,
surgeons have seen a surge of young women in their
office asking for elf ears. It's the k pop aesthetic.
They have the smaller face kind of look. It's a
prize trait for them. So enlarging your ears can create
(24:40):
the illusion of a smaller face, and people in Korea
are calling them elf ears latest cosmetic trends. Listen, whatever's
gonna make you happy?
Speaker 4 (24:49):
Right sure?
Speaker 1 (24:50):
No judgment here. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the
three things you need to know.
Speaker 4 (24:54):
Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky.
Speaker 5 (24:56):
Zach and Menno in the morning.
Speaker 3 (25:00):
I do not have a cat, you do. I kind
of have a cat. Our cat, our neighbor's cat. His
name is mister Miaogi. He spends a lot of time
at our house. I brought this up yesterday because he
brought us a dead bird this week.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
Because he loves you, because you are now his father. Apparently,
he said, Dad, I love you so much. Here's a
dead bird.
Speaker 3 (25:19):
I'm not a cat person. I've never dealt with this before,
but that's a gift from mister I've come to realize. So,
if you are a cat owner, what strange gifts have
you received from these little monsters?
Speaker 1 (25:31):
They have a very monsters. They have a very interesting
way of showing love and a lot of it is
like you know, they worry about taking care of you
and making sure you have enough food to be and
like that. You don't get eaten by birds or anything.
That's that's how they show love and affection.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
We do occasionally hear stories of cats dragging dead things
into the house. So has that ever happened to you?
Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven
Cat owners of Nashville, we need to hear from you.
We're typically dog people on this ship, but now it's
your turn.
Speaker 1 (26:01):
Now cats. Cats are it?
Speaker 4 (26:03):
Cat cat?
Speaker 3 (26:05):
Let's go six.
Speaker 5 (26:08):
Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
Kevin is now the new owner of a cat one
seven five the River. It's not really entirely true. His
neighbor's cat comes over to his house quite often. And
I think now the cat thinks that Kevin's his new
dad because the cat, mister Yogi, brought home a dead bird.
Ashley Clarksville, what is your cat brought home for you?
As a gift?
Speaker 9 (26:34):
I have received a little bit of everything, lizards, moles, snakes,
whoa Who's sake?
Speaker 3 (26:42):
Yes he is.
Speaker 9 (26:43):
We we he gets lots of rewards for the things
that he brings. Besides when they're chopped up body parts.
Speaker 3 (26:50):
Yeah, if he's bringing something dead under the house, you
reward him not not in the house.
Speaker 9 (26:55):
But I know this is his nature, so he will
with him for he thinks.
Speaker 6 (27:01):
He's bringing us a prize.
Speaker 8 (27:02):
I don't wanted him a house, but he will bring.
Speaker 6 (27:04):
It to the front step.
Speaker 9 (27:05):
Welcome Matt, and he wants to to acknowledge it. But
he's a huge fat and he has brought home hen
squirrels because it's.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
His way of saying, I love you, I'm protecting you,
I'm taking care of you. A mole is crazy, moles
are big.
Speaker 6 (27:20):
Well, he's twenty pounds, so he's yeah.
Speaker 3 (27:22):
He's a big boy.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
That's a big boy.
Speaker 5 (27:25):
Yeah, we call him.
Speaker 9 (27:26):
He's not house panther because he's yeah, he's a he's
a large black cat.
Speaker 1 (27:32):
Every I love it so much.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
Maybe you should like to start to like magnetize some
of these things to the.
Speaker 4 (27:37):
Fridge, like it's you know, a kid's artwork or something.
I think you'd be.
Speaker 3 (27:39):
Proud of us.
Speaker 9 (27:40):
Oh no, now I just make my son toss it
over the fans because I don't want to look at it.
Speaker 1 (27:45):
You say, thank you so much, big boy, I love
you so much. And also we're gonna use right now.
Speaker 6 (27:50):
Yes, good job, but gross.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
Thank you for calling in Ashley, We appreciate you.
Speaker 7 (27:57):
Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 5 (27:58):
Have a good day, Ricky, Zach and man in the morning.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
On the river.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
My neighbor's cat has become my cat. Mister Mialgi keeps
coming into our house uninvited.
Speaker 4 (28:10):
Well actually my kids let him in.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
Yeah, but he's bringing.
Speaker 4 (28:14):
Us He's bringing us dead things.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
We had a dead bird.
Speaker 4 (28:17):
Outside of the front step the other day. Kim, what
is your cat brought to your house?
Speaker 8 (28:21):
Baby snakes are their favorite. I guess they're easy to catch,
rum can lizard. The vet told me when you bring
home cat food, they think you are hunting and gathering
food for them, and they are repaying the favor. I
did not know that. I've been a cat owner my
whole life, And they said, when you walk in the
door of cat food, they think you went out hunted
(28:42):
and gathered it for them.
Speaker 7 (28:44):
So that.
Speaker 8 (28:45):
I know, I had no idea. And the weirdest thing
Cass have ever brought me a barbecued steak and baked
chicken drum check from somebody, and I knew it was perfect.
It was a bacon bake. And when she came crotting
across the yard with it, I said, oh my god,
what have you got? Because I could see it was
(29:07):
untouched and.
Speaker 1 (29:08):
She was so please.
Speaker 8 (29:10):
And I live on five acres, My neighbors live on
ten twenty. Where did she get.
Speaker 1 (29:15):
The hard to get you?
Speaker 8 (29:18):
When I asked the closest neighbors, are you missing a
barbecue chicken drum stip? So I thought it was an animal.
So I was like the closer she got, I'm like,
oh no, oh no. And I'm like, that's that's a drunk.
Speaker 3 (29:31):
You're making it sound good.
Speaker 4 (29:33):
Did you eat it? You're like it was perfect?
Speaker 6 (29:36):
She ate it another habit.
Speaker 8 (29:38):
He loved it.
Speaker 9 (29:39):
It was that you could tell it was a shake
and bake.
Speaker 8 (29:42):
I haven't had shaken bacon.
Speaker 2 (29:43):
A lot eyes, but that is.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
That is amazing.
Speaker 8 (29:48):
If they don't break the skin on a bird or
baby rabbit, you still have to take them to Walden's
Puddle Rehab, which I do, so they can treat them
and give a man a body.
Speaker 7 (29:58):
Oh.
Speaker 8 (30:00):
People don't realize that. And because when I first and
I donate to them, they're a wonderful organization. It's the
only wildlife rehab Darren Joelton that will take injured wildlife
rehab them and then you they release them Kim.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
We've learned so much about animals today.
Speaker 4 (30:15):
Thank you so much for calling our wildlife.
Speaker 8 (30:18):
We're the animals. Yeah, I don't want to come home
any more drumsticks, but yeah I don't. And you're bringing
that cat home tree, so you're for a hunter and gatherer.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
Kevin that I'm not feeding this cat anything. And if
you can, but.
Speaker 1 (30:32):
You are, can have a great day. Thank you so
much for calling this.
Speaker 8 (30:36):
Thank you have fun.
Speaker 3 (30:37):
I love the hunting and gathering thing makes me like
cats a little bit more because I do do all
the grocery shopping in our family and nobody appreciates it.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
You are the cat of the man O family.
Speaker 3 (30:48):
Yeah, okay, I'll take it.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
You have to take it. Call me mister from Oh
we have to a cat name for you now I
don't have one.
Speaker 3 (31:02):
Keep thinking. Have a wicked good summer, one of the river.
Here's the next word in our wicked long sentence.
Speaker 1 (31:11):
We are so sorry. We had so many things happening
at once. But your word is made. Your word is made.
So sorry I relate on that. Hopefully you wrote that down.
The word is made.
Speaker 3 (31:22):
Yeah, you're getting three words a day, so be here
for the next one. At twelve forty, eight forty, twelve
forty and four forty or close enough to it.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
I guess eight fifty.
Speaker 3 (31:32):
Yeah, you know, but your word right now made keep
track of every word. So when one O seven five
the river, and now that brings us to the daily
double tap school's wrapping up. Summer is rapidly approaching, and
I think that anybody, even the teachers, as Ricky pointed out,
can relate to this one. Everybody's just kind of done
and over it. But this is for some reason when
(31:53):
things get really busy.
Speaker 10 (31:54):
Here we go todays daily double t school teachers go
ahead to wrap the school up.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
Now, we don't cat on about no Spirit week. Don't
come email.
Speaker 10 (32:01):
Let me talk about they need to bring a yellow shirt,
they need water guns.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
They need they not participating.
Speaker 10 (32:06):
Okay, if it requires me spending any more money, let's
see it.
Speaker 4 (32:09):
Don't email me talking about that was late.
Speaker 10 (32:11):
I know they late. I bought them to school late.
I was sleepy, I'm tiring. I done check down. Don't
send me no QRL cold to stand. I'm not signing
up that.
Speaker 1 (32:18):
I don't care. Did they pass? That's all we care
about right now.
Speaker 4 (32:21):
Anything else I don't care.
Speaker 1 (32:23):
I'm not spending that another dollar. The wrap it up.
Speaker 10 (32:26):
You're still reaching out talking to me that you have
just to talk about.
Speaker 1 (32:30):
Everybody is over it by this point of the year.
The kids are over it, the parents are over it,
the teachers are over it. Everyone's exhausted. It's just a lot.
And we get that, like you know, those those spirit
weeks in the field days and things like that are
fun for the kids, but oh my god, is everyone
just exhausted.
Speaker 3 (32:47):
And it seems like it just gets busier this time.
You know, there's more papers coming.
Speaker 4 (32:51):
Home to read and more emails.
Speaker 1 (32:54):
They're wrapping everything up. But to wrap everything up, it
just it's a lot more something the teachers have to do.
And with that being said, teachers, we appreciate you, like
Fyance is a specialized teacher, we appreciate all of you
a lot your work.
Speaker 3 (33:06):
It's a lot, okay, So I mean, hopefully I'm hoping
they're all in class right now and they're just not
hearing this, but we do.
Speaker 4 (33:12):
Never we thank you for everything, but wrap it up, please.
Speaker 5 (33:16):
Ricky, Zach and Manno in the morning on the River
