Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three things you need to know right, good morning, Thank
you so much for starting your Wednesday with us.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Let's go.
Speaker 1 (00:07):
Ricky Sanchez is right here with those three things, presented
by Mark Spain Real Estate.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
Russell Crowe is defending himself after a video is making
its rounds online of him calling out people who are
looking for autographs. So there's a pretty tense video of
Russell Crowe showing him confronting autograph seekers in Paris. He
was telling fans to give everybody space. He even refused
to do one of the requests for an autograph. Somebody
(00:31):
asked him to sign Maximus. It's kind of makes sense.
The clip made its way online and led to a
lot of people accusing him of losing his patience with
fans and having a temper. Honestly, even though it's tense,
I don't feel like it's aggressive. He's broken his silence
to push back on that narrative by calling the footage
clickbait and insisting the situation stayed under control. He confirmed
(00:51):
that everybody got their autograph and selfie. He even managed
the crowd alone without security. Nobody was around him, so
he was doing all of this by himself, trying to
make sure that everybody got what they needed and that everything,
you know, was calm, cool and collective. He even said
that he still made his way to the airport on time,
which is actually pretty impressive. If you see the video,
(01:12):
you'll get a little more context. Like I said, I
personally don't feel like it's all that aggressive. I think
it's just a man who's being swarm by people trying
to get to the airport, and also still trying to
do right by people.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
So take it for what it's worth.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
BNA will soon transition to cashless parking beginning July first.
The garage will have a cashless way.
Speaker 4 (01:34):
For you to pay.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
That means that you can't go up to those little machines, can't.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
Go up to a person and pay in cash.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
They are going to have cashed card machines available so
you can convert your cash into a prepaid card that
could be used for parking for anyone who doesn't have
a credit card available. They hope that this streamlines the
parking experience. It sounds like a lot of extra steps
if you don't have a credit card, so I don't
know how streamlined it's gonna be per se, but BNA
(02:01):
is consistently making upgrades and consistently trying new things at
the airport to try and make everything as smooth as possible.
So we will see. Just something to keep in mind
that you will not be able to pay with cash
starting July first, and mister Rogers Forever.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
Stamps are coming back.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Yes, the United States Postal Service announced the winner of
their stamp Encore contest and mister Rogers won.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
So the stamp was originally rolled.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
Out in twenty eighteen. It sold out so fast. Everybody
loved it because everybody loves mister Rogers obviously. So you
can start buying the mister Rogers Forever stamps on June first,
or really soon. You can get it online and at
post offices nationwide. Buy them now, because those Forever stamps
are consistently getting more expensive, and they know it sounds
insane because you're probably like, I don't really send mail
(02:48):
that often. Just buy a sleeve of them and have
them why as.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
Many as you possibly can, as many as your budget
will allow, seriously.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
Because eventually they're going to be cost twenty dollars a stamp.
I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those the three things.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
You need to know. We always say, I never take
our own advice on that though, but we.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
Have some you do okay, good ramps.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Good for you, Good for you, Gizella Langley. We do
have Charlie Pooth tickets on the way there she is.
She went away for a second. She's back. Charlie Pooth.
By the way, I send down patheater if you want,
I mean, can get her at about ten minutes. First
caller of the Daii's tickets are yours.
Speaker 5 (03:19):
Next time the river, Ricky is Zach and Manno in
the morning on the river.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
That's Zara Larson, lush life. It's one O seven to
five the river. Now, my friends, the moment of truth
Katie in Nashville is supposedly on the line. We didn't
have access to our phones yesterday. Katie, are you there?
Can you hear us?
Speaker 3 (03:40):
I am by god the amount of technical difficulties we
go through on the daily, it's actually insane, insane, And
I'm so happy that this one has been fixed.
Speaker 6 (03:52):
Yes, perfect, Yeah, I'm so glamed.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Good what do you doing, Katie? Tell us everything?
Speaker 7 (03:57):
Him rotting into works this morning.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
Let's all back.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
Back from the beach.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
Which beach were you at?
Speaker 2 (04:05):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (04:06):
My god, I'm jealous.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
I used to throw down at PCB.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
They still talk about Zach.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
What was the occasion, Katie? What's to get out there?
Just like end of school year? And what was it?
Speaker 2 (04:18):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (04:18):
No, we're growing up.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
No, we just did a girls girls weekend in CCB
for memorially weekend. I love that.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
I also love the response of oh no, we're adults.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Grow I don't know.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (04:33):
And what's your job? What are you doing? What are
you doing now on your way to work? What do
you do? I'm an so dang cool.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
Well, then we're very happy that you got a nice
little break and you got some time with your friends
so that you can feel rejuvenated and ready to go
back to work. Because that's tough.
Speaker 7 (04:47):
I have a tan. I really can't complain at this point.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Well, Carol, the way a tan will change my entire
outlook on life.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
The amount of times that I've looked in the mirror
and I'm.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
Like, ugh, not great today, and then i get a
tan and I'm like, wow, girl, you are killing it. Yeah,
nobody can tell you anything.
Speaker 7 (05:03):
Today truly changes.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
Panama City Beach is kind of like a lawless, like
crazy wild West place. Did you run into any medical
emergencies where you were like, I'm a nurse, I can help.
Speaker 6 (05:14):
No, And thankfully my other friends were nurses too, but
we were all off duty, well.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
Being off duty. If somebody's choking, are you gonna be
gonna jump on duty?
Speaker 6 (05:23):
I mean if nobody else will, But.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
She doesn't want to, Kevin, if you're on vacation, they go, oh,
you know, we really, we really need somebody on the
radio right now to tell about this emergency that's happening.
Are you gonna volunteer on vacation?
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Hell?
Speaker 3 (05:36):
Yeah, you're a liar, liar, you are not gonna do that.
You're like, I'm on vacation right now. You don't even
want to do it when you have to do.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
You don't like vacations. I can't relax. I'd like to Okay, anyway, Katie,
you're the first caller of that. I feel like we're
too excited about our phones working. We haven't even told
you that.
Speaker 6 (05:52):
Congratulations, Yay, thank you, guys.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
You're so welcome. You're gonna see Charlie Pooth on June
ninth at a said amphitheater one of your friends. Get
ready to go, and hopefully you guys have a really
nice night that night, and the rain is gone by
that point.
Speaker 6 (06:05):
Thank you, thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
We've got more of these tickets, same time tomorrow, and
the real good news is here. Our phones work.
Speaker 5 (06:13):
Kyle Loulja, Ricky, is, Zach and Mano in the Morning
on the River.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
I went to see a movie last night, Ricky and Zach.
It's one of seven to five the River, one of.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
The horror movies that you're really excited about. It's a
good month for horror movies and you've been freaking out
about it.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
Back Rooms is not out yet. But I saw Obsession,
which is just people are going crazy for this movie
because it's made so much money. It's budget was so tiny. Anyway,
went love the movie. I'll tell you about that. But
I had the worst possible time. Oh okay, it was
not great. I'll uh, I'll tell you, I tell you what.
(06:49):
My movie experience was awful. Next to the River. Thanks
for being a part of our morning, Ricky.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Is Zach and Mano in the Morning on the River.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
I was noted for Kevin to tell us that, while
he enjoyed the movie he went to the other day,
he had the worst time ever. So I'm really excited
to he in not a mean way. It's Rickie Zacamano
in the morning on one of seven five the River.
You saw a movie you've been looking forward to for
a really long time, and you loved it.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
When last night with a buddy of mine we saw Obsession,
I thought it was great. If you if you can
handle like horror stuff, you're gonna love this movie. It
was really, really good.
Speaker 4 (07:24):
It's getting great reviews.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
You've been very excited to see a bunch.
Speaker 4 (07:26):
Of horror movies. I'm hyped for you.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
Thank you. Where did it go wrong? This has never
happened to me before. It was a pack theater, completely
full theater. Guys. From the moment I sat down until
laying in bed last night, I had the hiccups, hiccup
over the entire movie. I couldn't do anything about it.
(07:48):
First of all, they played me all day yesterday. I
got home from work, took a nap, woke up, had
the hiccups until I went to bed last night, like
off and on throughout the day. I was trying to
do some work on my computer and my I was like,
please go in thear the room. I couldn't stop hiccupping,
and then you're like, what causes hiccups? I don't know. Later,
I went to take my son to his like swim
classidy as every week. I had to leave the building
(08:10):
because I couldn't stop pickupping, and it was I was
like causing a distraction. Everybody's looking at me.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
Well, I was just about to say, you sound like
the worst person ever. If you were hiccupping in a
movie that I was a dude, I would I would
literally turn to you and say.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
Leave the room. I hated it. I did. I got up.
I left. I tried to like do some breathing exercises
in the hall. I got water. I was like standing
on my toes and my head back drinking all the
things you've ever heard of do about hiccups. I was
doing them, and I couldn't get rid of them. So
I just sat in my seat. I was on the
end of an aisle, thankfully and pretty spacious you know seats,
and I just had my mouth like buried in my
shirt the whole time. Is like the entire movie. I
(08:47):
could not turn them off.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
So you were audibly letting them out though, too, because
you can close your mouth and try.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
And hold them in.
Speaker 1 (08:53):
I was doing my best.
Speaker 8 (08:55):
I feel bad for you, but I also feel worse
for everyone else in the theater that had to hear it.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Read Yeah, I do too, I mean I wanted to.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
That's also the worst nightmare, because then you are causing
an inconvenience for everyone around you, and you know that
everyone then is like this guy.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
I know, I.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
Know, I.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
Personally reimbers every single person that theaized. Oh but the
movie was good, obsession. It's in theaters now. I had
a great time.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
If you, this is actually a great like selling point
for the movie. If you, the person who hates situations
like that and making awkward encounters, can get through the.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
Movie with hiccups and still.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
Say the movie was the best thing ever. That's a selling.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Point for that movie. I see it again without hiccups.
I'm so glad your hiccups are gone today. Thank you
say that much.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
I'm actually kind of not happy.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
When I was driving in, I had a couple and
I was so panicked. They quickly went away, so let's
hope they're they're gone for good.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
Here we go, just after seven o'clock. Thank you so
much for starting your day with us Ricky's Got Those
Three Things presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
Speaker 3 (10:05):
Olivia Rodrigo says that her third album, You Seem Pretty
Sad for a Girl So in Love, is divided into
two themed parts. Those two parts will be Girl So
in Love and You Seem Pretty Sad. She shared a
track list to social media, and she split them in
half so you can see where each song is. Her
single drop Dead is part of Girl So in Love
(10:26):
and her latest single The Cure is part of You
Seem Pretty Sad. Just give you an idea of where
each side is going. She previously described the album as
full of quote sad love songs. That's the vibe we're
going for. Full album drops June twelfth, and you can
see the other songs that are on the album listed
in her Instagram post. I'll repost it to one of
seven five the River's Instagram account.
Speaker 4 (10:47):
You can see it in the stories.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Marco Cafe and Barr's last day of service is Friday,
June fifth. That's next Friday that will mark exactly twenty
five years after it opened in East Nashville.
Speaker 4 (10:59):
They're going to celebrate the.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
Day after on the six from two to eight pm
with food, trucks, drinks, and live music, a big community gathering,
which is really nice and very Nashville, very East Nashville.
A really cool moment and a very cool thing to
do for everybody in the area. So if you're available,
go show them some love beforehand, or show up on
the sixth and show them some love on that day too.
(11:21):
And we're getting a Paddington four, fourth Paddington movie. It's coming.
The minds behind the writing of Veep and the thick
of It are the ones who are going to be
writing the screenplay for Paddington for so it's going to
be very interesting on where this goes. It's still super early.
We don't have any plot details or casting or anything
like that. We just know it's got a green light
(11:42):
to go, so you can expect that at some point
within the next few years. I'll keep you updated as
we get more information. I'm Rique Sanchez and those are
the three things.
Speaker 4 (11:50):
You need to know.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
Thank you, Ricky. Very excited about Paddington for I like
those Paddington movies. Appreciate that we are learning together. Next
a few minutes away, Zach's facts. On this Wednesday morning,
We've got I got a good one for you coming
on the River.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Class is in Sessions.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
Sacks Facts, brought to you by Mark Spain Real Estate
on the River.
Speaker 8 (12:09):
Well, Kevin was just complaining about having hiccups all day yesterday,
so I had to look up what causes hiccups?
Speaker 1 (12:14):
Please? Okay?
Speaker 8 (12:16):
So apparently everyday triggers include eating and drinking, so eating
too much or too fast and then chewing gum, smoking
or experiencing laughing fits.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
Maybe we were too funny yesterday.
Speaker 4 (12:28):
I think that's what it was.
Speaker 8 (12:32):
And then sudden temperature changes. All of those can cause hiccups,
which I didn't know about.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
The temperature changes.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
See, none of those seemed to be striking a bell
for him, being like, oh, yes, that's what it is.
Speaker 4 (12:41):
It had to be the.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
Giggles, it had to be uh, you know, I'd rather
say that I smoked a peg of cigarettes and give
you guys credit for that. Woah, And there's your fact
of the day.
Speaker 5 (12:49):
Kevin is a black Zach, Ricky Zach and Manno in
the morning.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
On Centennial High School and Frankland High School get redos
for their graduation. It's Ricky, Zac and Mano in the
Morning on one oh seven five the River. They had
crazy heavy rains that just poured down on them for
their high school graduations. Videos of is gone. I've gone viral.
People are talking about it across the country because of
(13:18):
how intense it was.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Well kind of save our opinions, But yeah, I think
they should get a redo, and I think some people
should maybe lose their jobs for green lighting the six
one five, seven, three, seven nine, one oh seven. How
do you feel about these kids and their poor graduation?
They were flooded out. Should they get a redo? That's
our question?
Speaker 5 (13:36):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on seven
five the River, Centennial High and Franklin High have really
gone viral for their graduations.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
Just torrential downpours. It went on, you know, the proceeded
as planned, which uh summer questioning it's one oh seven
five the River. We're asking how you feel about it?
Should they get a redo? Sandra? What do you think?
Speaker 7 (13:59):
I don't think they should do it?
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (14:01):
Okay, why not?
Speaker 7 (14:02):
Because the moment has passed. It would be like we're
doing a wedding. It's already been done. The moment has passed,
that ship has failed. And another reason is most of
the kids. If you noticed in the video they loved this.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Yeah, maybe the redo might be more for the parents
because they put a lot into it. You know, these kids,
some of them got like really dulled up, furious.
Speaker 7 (14:26):
Yeah, no, I agree with the parents. I'd be furious.
I'd be ready to go to jail.
Speaker 3 (14:32):
We can picture that. Actually, I picture that in my head.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
Ye.
Speaker 7 (14:36):
No, I look really good in ours, I'll tell you that.
But that's the whole other thing. But seriously, I saw
the news, I saw the videos, and the kids were
loving it. They were jumping up and done high fogging
and all kinds of stuff.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
It did look like I did see some videos where
it looked like the kids sitting careen, then other videos
where they looked really sad. So I think it just
appeared on the kid And obviously that makes sense because
some of them have put a lot into this and
cared that it was raining so much, and I think
others were just like, thank god, this is done. Like
you said, the moment has passed, we graduated, We don't
have to worry about it anymore.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
Onto the next thing.
Speaker 7 (15:10):
Yeah, that's my two sent Sandra, Thank you so much,
Love you guys.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
Thank you honestly, I agree with her. Do not redo
it for me.
Speaker 8 (15:19):
It makes it more iconic, Like whenever you tell about
your graduation story, now you can be like, oh my god, remember,
and like you can pull up all of the news
articles of a torrential downpour and it makes it more iconic.
And also now you have all of the summer to
look forward to. Now when they try and reschedule it,
when they try and redo everything, like now I have
to go back to this place, Like if I were graduating,
I would not want to go back, like I'm done.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
Yeah, I mean that makes sense.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
I just don't know why they allow this to happen.
Like they said rain or shine, but this was an
extreme amount of rain. I think maybe just rescheduling it
would have been the best idea.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
Yeah, I think it's hard in those situations because obviously
you have one set day to do this, to get
everybody at the same place and everything, you know, set
up the right way. So it's hard to be like,
all right, JK, it's canceled. If they canceled it, they
probably wouldn't have done it another day. They just wouldn't
have gotten a graduation.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Well, I want to move it inside you know, just
have everybody stand up in a weird The hard part.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
About that, I'm playing Devil's advocate here. Hard part about
that is that not everyone's going to be able to
legally fit inside of whatever room they have because there's.
Speaker 4 (16:22):
Not going to be enough tickets for everybody.
Speaker 8 (16:23):
Also, all of the kids that are graduating, there's probably
like three hundred and fifty people that are graduating. Imagine
that plus all of their families trying to move inside.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
That's chaos. Less chaotic than what actually happened, though now
they were just sitting in their seats in the rain.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
I don't think there was a good way to go
about it, guys. I'm just gonna be so honest with you.
I think it was one of those freak situations that
there was no positive way to like handle this at all.
I do think anybody that is upset should get all
dolled up again, take pictures, have your moment where like
you look pretty and you feel good kind of thing,
and kind of call it a day. Like Zach said,
(16:58):
it's a great story for late. It feels like the
end of the world right now.
Speaker 4 (17:02):
For these kids and these parents.
Speaker 3 (17:04):
But ten years from now, I don't remember my high
school graduation.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
I didn't even want to go yeaheah.
Speaker 8 (17:10):
I just read a quote from one of the kids
that was graduating that's going to become a firefighter after
graduation said the downpour actually bonded him and his classmates.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
Six one, five, seven, three, seven nine seven. If you
have an opinion or if you were affected, we'd love
to hear from. Thanks for being a part of.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
Our morning, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
Speaker 3 (17:28):
Lisa and Chapel Hill, Welcome to one oh seven five
the River. We're talking about the graduation situation.
Speaker 4 (17:34):
That's what I'm calling it from now on.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
I like it.
Speaker 4 (17:36):
Centennial High, Franklin High.
Speaker 3 (17:38):
They had the craziest downpour for their graduations and they
all had to graduate outside in said downpour. What do
you think about this, Lisa, because we're kind of having
a little debate on whether or not they should get
a redo or not.
Speaker 6 (17:50):
Well, I'm pretty to a little information that I wondered
if you all knew that the faculty I maintain allowed
it to come back the next day to have their
pictures taken. They set up, so I thought that was
a great at chance.
Speaker 1 (18:06):
Do you know what your school you're talking about here?
Which one did that?
Speaker 6 (18:09):
Yeah, I'm not sure.
Speaker 3 (18:12):
About Franklin, Okay, Centennial did That's it's a great way
to kind of try to make the situation a little
bit better is give them an opportunity to come back,
because that's what I was saying. All you really care
about are like pictures and the vibe, and then you
have those forever and they got to still do that.
I kind of think that's a good way of making
up for it. You can't redo a whole graduation.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
I think it's impossible. But how do you dry a
cap in twenty four hours? Oh my god, you can't
put that thing in the dryers act.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
I don't know, Kevin. Maybe they had new caps for them,
or they figured out something.
Speaker 4 (18:45):
I'm sure they figured out maybe, Lisa, do you work
in a school.
Speaker 6 (18:51):
I don't. I used to teach you, but I don't know.
I went home to write my baby go.
Speaker 4 (18:56):
But you understand, you get the vibe.
Speaker 3 (18:58):
You understand how hard that can be in the situations.
But we appreciate you telling us all of that because
we had no idea that that was the thing.
Speaker 4 (19:04):
They're not talking about it as much.
Speaker 6 (19:06):
Right, right, the good parts are not talked about, you
know how it is, Oh yeah, towards the negative.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
Well, thank you so much, Lisa, and we hope you
have a great day.
Speaker 4 (19:16):
Bye.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
I looked it up how to dry a graduation cap
and it says never put it in the clothes dryer.
Instead place it in its natural shape on a clean
dry towel to air dry in a well ventilated area.
And then it goes on with tassel care. There's a
whole thing that's fascinating.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
Kevin.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
Thank you so much for all that information.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
Yeah, if anybody needs help with tassel care, reach out
to me. But we are playing the game of the
day for Bonnaroo tickets next. Thanks for being a part
of our morning Ricky.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
Zach and Meno in the Morning River.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
It's Kevin Minnow's Game of the Day on one O
seven five the River. We're playing real or fake Bonnaroo
band for these tickets to go to Bonnaroo June eleventh
through the fourteenth in Manchester. You're going to see people
like Noah Khan, role model Kesha. They're so many great
people on the lineup this year per usual, and then
there's some names that you're wondering if they're.
Speaker 1 (20:05):
Real bands or not sure. Some of the smaller fond
bands you you know, most likely never heard of, so
we like to make it confusing. We'll throw a few
of those at you. We'll throw some made up ones
at you. See if you can decipher Jennifer and Murphy's
burrow is on the line. How you doing, Jen?
Speaker 2 (20:21):
I'm good.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
I immediately regretted calling you Jen after I introduce you
with Jennifer's Jen. Okay, what would you prefer to go by?
Speaker 8 (20:28):
You're good?
Speaker 1 (20:29):
Okay, so I actually do it?
Speaker 5 (20:30):
Good about Jen?
Speaker 2 (20:31):
Great?
Speaker 1 (20:32):
You need to get three out of five of these
right to win the Bannero tickets and a fun little twist.
If you want to consult Ricky and Zach for help,
they're here for you, Okay, Okay, they don't know. They're
not looking at the lineup. They don't know. I made
all these fake ones up. So here we go. Your
game starts right now. Jen will flip Turn be at
Bonnaroo this year. Flip Turn.
Speaker 6 (20:59):
I need some helpe.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
I'm not one.
Speaker 3 (21:00):
Okay, you want to hope from us?
Speaker 4 (21:02):
That's stressful.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
I hate this so much. Jennifer sounds like it could
be a Bonnaroo band, like it sounds like a band
that could play at Bonnaroo.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
I'm feeling no, you're.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
Feeling no, Zach, and I'm feeling yes. So Jennifer, you
have to be the tiebreaker. I'm gonna say no, they're
not going to be there.
Speaker 1 (21:19):
Unfortunately, they will be there, So that's strike. I'm sorry,
I'm sorry, stressful. Will the chats be there? The chats
C H A T S the chats? That is strike too, Jennifer, Oh.
Speaker 4 (21:35):
Jf you gonna get the next three right?
Speaker 1 (21:39):
Will Neon Prairie be at Bonnaroo this year?
Speaker 2 (21:48):
No?
Speaker 1 (21:49):
Okay, okay, you got that one right, correct, Okay, you
don't forget. You can turn to these two for help.
You Gottres, you're still alive.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
Stres. You have a point on the board though.
Speaker 1 (22:02):
Will Finn Holloway be performing at this year?
Speaker 6 (22:08):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (22:08):
God, Finn Holloway is he or she?
Speaker 4 (22:13):
And you didn't ask for advice?
Speaker 3 (22:15):
But I don't.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
I don't think that sounds like a real person.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
It doesn't feel it doesn't feel good. We actually carry
on something. So you're going with Ricky and Zach. Yeah,
you're right, he's a made up person or he you're
still alive. You need one more. You gotta get this
one right. Congress. The band will Congress. The band be
(22:40):
at Bannerou this year. Yeah, you will also be at.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
It.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
Sounds man, you're goody good, Oh my god, can't.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
Very stressful when you get those first two wrong and
then pull it out like that, That's that's awesome way
to go. You're gonna be there, going to Bonaroo. Congratulations,
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
Congrats. I I feel like I need to go puke.
Speaker 1 (23:12):
Honestly, stress just takes a lot out of them. Hang on,
so we get all your information to get you to
these tickets. But congrats, hang on, Okay, thank you.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
I am like somehow hot and cold at the same time.
I have a lot of feelings.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
Right now, same game, same time tomorrow for these tickets.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
Three things you need to know.
Speaker 1 (23:31):
It's just fast eight o'clock here on this Wednesday morning.
We really appreciate just starting your day with us. Rick.
He's got those three things. Presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
Speaker 3 (23:39):
Metro Police's drone as first Responder Programs starts this week
in Madison. Three drones are going to be stationed on
the roof of the building and they will respond to
emergency calls within a two mile radius of the building.
Police said that the drones will be used for active investigations,
missing persons cases, and major crashes, and the idea is
(23:59):
to give all officers real time information before they even
arrive on the scene. The drones will be operated remotely
by for Federal Aviation Administration certified officers at police headquarters
and Metro Police said the goal is to improve response
times as well, so they're going to give them real
time information and also improve response times, increase officer awareness,
(24:20):
things like that.
Speaker 4 (24:21):
All that seemed like benefits for their cause. We'll see
how it all works out.
Speaker 3 (24:25):
This is something that they've started to roll out across
Tennessee in different areas as a way to help improve
the community outreach of police. Sean Evans, the host of
Hot Ones, was finally on Keiki Palmer's podcast The moment
Everybody's been waiting for because it feels like forever since
she was on Hot Ones. And when she was on
(24:48):
hot Ones, if you remember, they got quite flirty.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
There were a lot of moments that were clipped from.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
That episode where everybody started to ship them as a
couple and everyone was like, oh my god, we need
this to happen, and I want someone to look at
me the way Sean Evans looks at Keiki Palmer. Those
are the constant memes that you saw all over the internet.
Now you've got even more of that because now everyone
is living for these new clips of the two of them.
Speaker 4 (25:11):
Their chemistry is insane.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
If the two of them do not just try to date,
at some point, I feel like it's it's a waste.
It's a waste of time. Love isn't even real. Why
even bother with anything? Fingers crossed that this leads to
something else. But Kiki Palmer's podcast is up available for
you to watch and listen to, so you can see
it for yourself. And if you have anxiety and you're
(25:34):
thinking about getting a pet, I have a list of
the dogs that help most with anxiety. So it turns
out anxiety disorders are one of the most common mental
health conditions in the US, so a lot of people
are going through this and a lot of people go
to pets for comfort. So research suggests that dogs can
help ease feelings of stress and anxiety. Some breeds are
(25:55):
better than others, though, So what science has found is
that new found Lynz. Labrador retrievers, Golden retrievers, poodles, and
greyhounds are the dogs that you want to get to
help you ease your anxiety. If that's something that you're
looking for. Greyhounds they're in there. Yeah, Zach, you have
Golden retrievers. They for sure ease your anxiety.
Speaker 8 (26:15):
I feel like my dog, Emily, the Golden retriever, has
more anxiety than I do.
Speaker 3 (26:19):
She like like leans on top of you and lays
on top of it. You will, Yeah, I think they're
very in tune with that.
Speaker 1 (26:27):
I think so.
Speaker 4 (26:28):
I'm rick Sanchez, and those are the three things.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
You need to know.
Speaker 5 (26:31):
Ricky is Zach and manno in the morning on the
river the summer.
Speaker 3 (26:36):
Okay, I think it's funnel cake. I know a lot
of people think it's hot dogs. Fun fact. From Memorial
Day to Labor Day, Americans eat about seven billion hot dogs,
Oh my god, which is about eight hundred and eighteen
hot dogs per second. Who So a lot of people
think hot dogs are the official.
Speaker 4 (26:55):
Food of the summer. I just I believe it's funnel cake.
Speaker 1 (26:57):
Cake.
Speaker 3 (26:59):
Funnel cake and the fair go hand in hand, and
the fair goes hand in hand with summer.
Speaker 4 (27:04):
It just all wraps into a nice.
Speaker 3 (27:05):
Little fun bow. You're not eating funnel cake any other
time of the year except for summer.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
They sell other things at the fair the sunnel.
Speaker 3 (27:11):
Cakes, of course, but that's the one time that you're
eating funnel cake. What are you eating funnel cake in January?
Speaker 1 (27:17):
Are you judging me? No, that's like I go to
a baseball game in the summer, So a bag of
peanuts is the food of the summer.
Speaker 3 (27:25):
You could say that, No, that's insane. Well, what do
you think is the food of the summer?
Speaker 4 (27:29):
Kale?
Speaker 1 (27:29):
Water carrots? I think watermelon, watermelono, like a nice big
slice of watermelon. That's screams summer. No, I will say,
in my mind, I think it's kabab's.
Speaker 3 (27:41):
Oh, I like this.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
Every time you go to like a grill, they have
a kebab. They have it at the fair.
Speaker 3 (27:50):
Like if they do have a kebab, I'm gonna eat
a kabab.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
Right, it's the food of the summer.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
I don't hate that.
Speaker 4 (27:55):
Onemelon Ta.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
I like the.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
Watermelon is first time I list. Second in my list
would be popsicles. How do you feel about popsicles? I
like the popsicles, not mad about it.
Speaker 3 (28:03):
Obstacles is a good choice, that is. But is that food?
Speaker 1 (28:06):
Yeah? Yeah, obstacles are food. Do you eat it?
Speaker 3 (28:09):
Popsicles are like liquid, it's not food.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
Eat it?
Speaker 3 (28:13):
Yeah, but you like lick it. It's not like food.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
It's food.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
I won't consider popsicle food, but whatever.
Speaker 8 (28:21):
I do have an entire list of like the official fruit,
the official meal, the official treat of the.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
Summer is the official fruit watermelon. It is, of course
it is.
Speaker 1 (28:28):
It actually is on the list.
Speaker 3 (28:30):
Of course.
Speaker 8 (28:31):
The official meal is hot dogs and hamburgers, so they're
like synonymous.
Speaker 1 (28:35):
You have to cook both of them.
Speaker 8 (28:36):
You can't just have a hot dog like you have
to have a hot dog and a hamburger.
Speaker 4 (28:40):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
The official apparently, of my mind, the official tree is
ice cream.
Speaker 3 (28:46):
That makes sense.
Speaker 8 (28:47):
And then the official seasonal produce is sweet corn and tomatoes.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
Oh, I love some sweet corn.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
Ooh, Jersey has the best corn on the cob. Guys,
it's so good.
Speaker 4 (29:00):
Maybe it's just my mouth is watering my mouth, you know,
I didn't like that noise.
Speaker 2 (29:06):
Have a wicked good summer. On one seven five the river.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
Here's the next word in a wicked long sentence. All right,
here we go. Kind of a weird word. But your
word right now, violated. Violated, that is the word.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
It's gonna make more sense when you have the full sentence. Okay,
So make sure that you are here listening to one
oh seven five of the river for your next word
at twelve forty.
Speaker 2 (29:30):
Keep track of every word, so in one.
Speaker 1 (29:32):
O seven the River.
Speaker 3 (29:34):
I have no problem being entirely honest about the fact
that I.
Speaker 4 (29:37):
Am horrific when it comes to math.
Speaker 3 (29:39):
I cannot do mathematic equations in my head the way
that I wish I could. It's just the reality of
my life. And today's daily double tap is about the
situation when you're bad at math you get yourself into
when you're trying to figure something out as a group,
when it has to do with the math problem.
Speaker 1 (29:56):
See if you can relate to the sea. If you're
a ricky in your group.
Speaker 9 (30:00):
Just know that if we are ever in a situation
where we're both doing math in our head to figure
something out, I'm pretending and it's all completely on you.
I've become emotionally supportive instead of useful. Okay, I'll still participate, though,
you know I'll look upward, you know, I'll narrow my
eyes a little bit like you, maybe whisper a number
under my breath. So so it seems like processes are
(30:21):
occurring internally, they're not. I'm just buying time. I'm waiting
for you to figure it out. My participation is performative, okay.
I one of us is solving the problem and the
other is maintaining morale.
Speaker 1 (30:33):
That's me, Yeah, that's you. That's pretty nicky.
Speaker 4 (30:36):
I'm got math always happened.
Speaker 1 (30:38):
See, I'm on the offsite end of the spectrum. I
am proud of my math skills, and I always want
to be the first one to blurt out the answer
and like then be proud of the fact that I
figured it out.
Speaker 3 (30:47):
Okay, seventy two divided by.
Speaker 1 (30:49):
Thirty, well, that's not really, that's pretty hard me thirty
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (30:56):
Two point four seventy two divided by twelve, now.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
That's more off my alley. I'm sick, hang in sick,
that's right. Six.
Speaker 3 (31:06):
Yeah, I'm so confident with your kill, Kevin.
Speaker 1 (31:09):
I really, vision is not my strong.
Speaker 3 (31:13):
Okay, my bad.
Speaker 1 (31:14):
You try some addition or something, but there we go.
Today's Daily Devil tap. If you can relate, you are
not alone. There's a lot of people like.
Speaker 4 (31:21):
Kevin should relate, but he doesn't for some reason.
Speaker 1 (31:24):
Give me one more, give me one more.
Speaker 3 (31:25):
I'm done with you.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Mac seven times eight fifty six. Yeah, Cay, look at that.
Speaker 3 (31:33):
Fourth graders can do.
Speaker 1 (31:36):
You can't.
Speaker 2 (31:38):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the
river
