Speaker 1 (00:00):
Three days you need to know.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Well, good morning and happy Friday. We finally made it
to Friday. I'm so excited about it now. Ricky sanchest
today she's out getting married. But Kevin Manner has three
things that you need to know.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
That's exciting to hear you say it like that. Ricky
getting married very soon.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
There is a.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
Proposal out there for a sixty nine thousand square foot
AI data center to open near the Nashville Zoo, and
the zoo is not happy about it. Those things do
consume a lot of power and water. The zoo filed
an online petition to oppose this data center, and in
just three hours it had over thirty thousand signatures. Zoo
officials posted on social media yesterday quote. While developers claim

(00:38):
the facility will have no impact, no environmental studies or
impact assessments have been conducted to evaluate potential effects on
our animals, visitors, staff, or the surrounding community. The company
behind the data center is a Georgia based company called
DC Blocks. We'll see how this one plays out, but
as of now, it seems like there is a lot
of support for the zoo and their efforts to fight it.

(01:00):
New Movies opening this weekend include Masters of the Universe,
It's the he Man movie and Scary Movie Six. The
Waynes Brothers are back with another. One of those is
the first one since twenty thirteen. I am interested to
see if either of them can knock back Rooms out
of the number one spot. These horror movies have been
having a moment lately, first Obsession and now Backrooms. They're
performing better than like the big tent pole stuff like

(01:22):
they beat Mandalorian and Grogu the new Star Wars movie.
By the way, I saw Backrooms and I loved it.
Zach No Kevin. Kevin is obsessed. I won't stop talking
about it. If you're a weirdo like me, I recommend
that movie. It's so good. We'll see how it does them.
It's second weekend. Lastly, have you ever had a PLoP vacation?
The concept of a PLoP vacation has been one of
the biggest trends so far this summer. It's early, but

(01:44):
it's trending. It's the opposite of a vacation with a
crazy schedule. It's honestly packing a bag and literally just
plopping by the beach or the pool all day, not
doing anything.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Literally my dream vacation.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
I feel like that's the vacation that my family has
All the time. We were ploppers. People in the travel
world call us a fly and flop, and now PLoP
vacation is the new term. Experts say. While maximizing your
time off and exploring a new place has its benefits,
this PLoP concept can completely reset your nervous system, like
not having to deal with a bunch of logistics and

(02:16):
just chilling is apparently good for you. So if you're
actually looking to truly rest and recharge, PLoP give it
a try. I'm totally down. Three things you now. No,
We've got so much going on today. We're gonna make
our big River on the rooftop announcement at eight am.
We've got new Taylor Swift music on the way today.
But we do have these tickets for Holiday World and

(02:36):
Splash and Safari before anything else. About ten minutes. We'll
ask you to call for those if you want them.
Coming up on the river.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
The river, Shell and Gallatin is on the line. Good morning, Michelle,
Good morning, Ooh, I like the energy. Yeah, Happy Friday.
Real quick, before we progress with this conversation. I have
to apologize to Zach because exuberating is a word. I
know it is. He said, he said it. He said
exuberating on the air a minute ago, and I was like,
is that a word? And I looked it up. It
sure is what it is, totally is.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
I'm glad that Michelle and I are at least on
the same page.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Yeah, Michelle, what are you doing this weekend? I think
we're gonna go check out Mitchell Creek Marina? Where is
that at Solana?

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Like that?

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Okay? What do you do there?

Speaker 4 (03:24):
Like?

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Do you awesome? I just looked it up. It looks
like a beautiful little chunk of property over here.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Yeah, it's really pretty.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Man.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
I'm exuberating over this.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
And you're gonna rent a boat that's fancy? Hey, you
gotta live large, right amen? Do you have kids?

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Like?

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Who else going with you?

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Just name the other half my son his fyance and
my mom and stepdad.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
It's gonna be so cute. What a cool crew that is?
Do you can you drive the boat? Michelle?

Speaker 2 (03:58):
We love a passenger princess. I can't drive a boat
to either.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
They're gonna be fishing.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
I'm gonna be like on a float laying out bacon.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Good for you, Michelle.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Please don't hate me, but I have to tell you
please wear sunscreen.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
Oh that's so fun, Zach.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
It's so much better to be.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Not to have skin cancer.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Well that's true too, Yeah, no, yeah, listen to Zach
in this one instance. Listen to Zach. Hey, we're gonna
we're gonna tell you to the first caller of the day.
So you're getting tickets to Holiday World and Splash and Safari.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Unfortunately, you've gotta have to cut people off your list,
like you can't bring the sun, the fiance, your parents,
your you can't bring everybody.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
But anyway, you're the best, Michelle. Hang out so we
can get you all your information. But have a great
time this weekend and have fun and Holiday World, Splash
and Safari.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Thanks, have a good one. Guys. Ricky is Zach and
Manno in the morning on.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
The River on Fridays, at this time, Zach runs down
a list of things happening around town. Help you out
make plans for the weekend. What has happened in Zach.
So the very first thing is right up Kevin Salley.
It's called the Music City, Tequila Crawl. It is happening
today from two to five.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Tickets are thirty nine dollars and you get to explore
four of the best bars in the Gulch. So it's
guided by a tequila and cocktail expert, and so you
get to experience all of this. And so there's all
of these different great tequilas, rooftop Us cocktails and all
of the national bars that are like helping you experience

(05:30):
a Dave experience.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
I love it, man, Miami, Thanks, it sounds so good.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Also, cmafs this weekend, I know all week and long.
I will say some of the headliners Jason Alden, Blake Shelton,
Keith Urban Luke, Bryan Bailey, Zimmerman, Shaboozi, the Red Clay Strays.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
How cool.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Also, I love shout out to the gurlies. Ellen Langling
Carly Pearce are both also going to be there.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
Cool, very cool.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
And then lastly, I do want to say that on Monday,
it's not this. I wouldn't call it a weekend, but
it's on Monday. Okay, it's the Japan men national soccer team,
it's the FIFA World Cup training.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
That's cool, that's very cool. It's really cool.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
You can go to Gyoda's Park for free and watch
them train for the FIFA World Cup.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
This is a free event. Yeah, it's completely free. Love that.
It's really really cool. Happening Monday at Giodas. Okay, get
out there, and if CMA Fest isn't your thing, I
would just say avoid it all together because there will
be plenty of road closures and craziness happening.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
It'll be really difficult to get around down here.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, very much. But if you are going
down there, have fun, drink water, be safe.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Where sunscreen?

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Where sunscreen? Thank you, Zach. Lot's going on as always,
three days.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Good morning, good morning, Happy Friday. Thank you so much
for joining us. We appreciate you know, Ricky Sanchez today,
but our friend Kevin Manna has three things that you
need to know.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
That's me, Thanks Zach. Juneteenth is coming up, the nineteenth,
and there's an event planned in Nolansville. It's the first
official Juneteenth gathering out there, and it's happening at Historic
Sunset Park on Saturday to twentieth. It's gonna run from
one to six pm. It's actually very meaningful that they're
doing it at that park because during segregation, historic Sunset
Park served as a gathering place for black families. Organizers

(07:18):
of this event say that they aim to celebrate freedom, culture, history,
and community connection. Again. It's happening on the twentieth from
one to six in Nolansville.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
I love that.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Yeah, so so do I. Today is National Donut Day.
For almost ninety years, it's always the first Friday of June.
That would be today. There are a bunch of places
around town to grab freebies. They're doing deals everywhere, I know,
like the big chains are in on it, you know,
Krispy Kreme and Duncan, but also shop local. I follow
Fox's Donut Den on Instagram. I love that place in Greenville.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Love them.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
They're offering a free donut today. So stop in shop
local when you can. Wherever you are around town, you know,
find your local spot. Just be prepared to wait in line,
maybe for a minute, because everybody's gonna be grabbing their
free donut. Happy National don't lastly here very exciting. We've
got new Taylor Swift music. She released a new song today.
It's called I Know It, I Knew You?

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Is that right?

Speaker 3 (08:10):
No, It's called I Knew It. I knew it, I
knew you. I can't read. I knew it, I knew You.
She wrote and recorded the tracks the new Toy Story movie,
Toy Story five. She posted about this on Instagram yesterday,
talking about her lifelong love of those movies. She said, quote,
creating something for Jesse was a new challenge and also
felt like second nature all at once, and being a
Toy Story kid from the age of five till now

(08:31):
is an adventure. I planned to beyond, to infinity and beyond.
Oh wait, I love that sound corporated the quote. This
is the first song Taylor's release since the Life of
a show Girl came out back in October. She worked
with Jack antonof Again on the song the Dream Team
the two of them, and We're gonna play it for
you right now. Brand new Taylor Swift Again. It's called
I Knew It, I Knew You from the upcoming Toy

(08:51):
Story movie. Here it is world premiere music on the River.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Class is in Sessions.

Speaker 5 (08:58):
Sacks Facts brought to you by Mark Spain Real Estate.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Okay, so we all know that Tom Hanks is the
voice of Woody and Toy. Sorry, did you guys know
that his brother Jim Hanks is the voice of the merchandise,
so all video games Theme Park rides his brother voices
instead of Tom Hanks.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
So like my kids used to have a Woody toy.
You pull the little string on his back and he says,
there's a snake in my boots. That's not Tom Hanks. No,
it's Jim Hanks. That's Jim Hanks. O my money bag.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
I know that's Jim. There you go, there's your factor
of today.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
Jim Hanks is the voice of Woody and all the toys.
All right, Thanks Zach.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the River.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Oh man, we're getting closer and closer to eight o'clock.
It's one o seven to five of the river. Eight
o'clock is what time we're making our big announcement this.
I'm so excited. River on the Rooftop is back. This
is the tenth anniversary for River on the Rooftop.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Happy anniversary, literally ten years of doing this.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
Good Lord, We're gonna tell you where when, who all
the information. This is our free summer concert series that
we do over here at the River Summers Better on
the roof Really, our guy Jonathan props to him. He's
the one that kind of throws the whole thing together,
Jonathan Kate, everybody behind the scenes. The concerts are so
crazy expensive these days, so we try to offer like
an alternative to that with this free all Ages summer

(10:20):
concert series. You're not gonna find that really anywhere else.

Speaker 4 (10:24):
No.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Literally, the fact that so the first time that I've
actually met your children, Yes, I think was it River
on the Rooftop?

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Your wife brought them? Is that true, that's the first
time you met him?

Speaker 2 (10:34):
Yeah, I think that's the first time that I met them. Oh,
my goodness is free in All Ages?

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, wow, Yeah. My kids love it. They
go every year, they bring friends. It's the best. So
eight o'clock this morning, we're gonna tell you who's gonna
be out there this year. We've had some enormous names
in the past. It's a lot of like up and
coming talent mixed with huge names. We have had Benson
Boone out there before, Avril Levine, Sabrina Carpenter, Alex Warren.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
I'm not gonna lie to you. One of my favorite
moments from River on the Rooftop was Lewis Capaldi.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Oh yeah, last year it was his big return to music.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
He literally just came back after taking like a three
year break. He had just come back, and I was
so excited, Like that was like one of the biggest moments.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
It was incredible. That was his first live show in
the US and very show. Yeah, I would say that
was maybe my favorite moment as well. I mean having
Jelly roll out there in Nashville, you know what I mean.
Just yeah, just beautiful night on Broadway rooftop right there,
skydeck on Broadway. That was one of my favorite moments.
MGK played. He brought out Laney Wilson like.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
It was so sickening.

Speaker 3 (11:37):
There's almost too many moments to recall.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Also, can we talk about the fact that we had
Avril Levine.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
Yeah, Avro was out there. I cried. That does not
surprise me at all. I literally cried, who's gonna play
this year? You find out at eight o'clock we're making
the big announcement about a half hour from right now.
Be here on one O seven.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
Five the River, Ricky, Zach and man in the morning
on the River.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
It's one O seven five the River. Happy Friday, everybody.
We were playing Kevin Mano's Game of the Day. Brought
to you by Genesis Diamonds. It is the I Do
IQ inspired by our very own Ricky Sanchez and her
upcoming nuptials. Congrats Ricky, she's off getting married. She's off.
She won't be in here for a little while as
she gets married. On the phone, we have Megan and

(12:23):
Bowling Green. How you doing, Meghan?

Speaker 4 (12:25):
I'm good?

Speaker 3 (12:25):
How are you excellent? Excellent? Do you have weekend plans?
My daughter's turning not our sorry, she's turning thirteen on
the ninth, so we're just going to be celebrating her
all weekend.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
Well, happy birthday. Also, how terrifying for you, Megan? That
do you officially have a teenager?

Speaker 4 (12:43):
I know?

Speaker 3 (12:43):
Don't remind me about three girls, ten, eleven and now
almost thirteen. It's crazy, dam thank you, ma'am. So right
now though, before she turns thirteen, you have ten, eleven
and twelve?

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Yes, old?

Speaker 3 (12:56):
Are you little busy?

Speaker 4 (12:58):
I know?

Speaker 3 (12:59):
And I okay? Good for you, and happy early birthday
to her. If you can get three out of five
of these questions, right, uh, they're not really questions, but
if you get three out of five of them, you're
going to see Gracey Abrams Okay, awesome. See I do
i Q will give you names who tell us who
they are married to, and your game starts right now.
First name, Bahati Prince Lou. Who is Bahati Prince Lou

(13:22):
married to Megan the Haughty Prince Lou. Yes, does that
name do anything for you?

Speaker 2 (13:27):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (13:28):
You said the HATI Prince Lou.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
Oh that's Adam Levie.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
Ah name job, yeah, job, he said the hatih the hall.
I mean it is pretty accurate, if you know what
I'm saying. Next question here, Next name, Prianka Chopra. Who
is Priyanka Chopra married to Oh Jonash. Yeah, you need

(13:54):
a first name. There's a lot of them.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Oh, yes, it's nick Yeah, good job.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
Job for two?

Speaker 2 (14:02):
Thank you?

Speaker 3 (14:02):
You need one more to win these tickets.

Speaker 5 (14:04):
Okay this I'm not.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
Even gonna go with her real name. I'm gonna go
with the nickname because the name would give it away.
But Posh Spice who is Posh Spice Mary to.

Speaker 4 (14:14):

Speaker 3 (14:15):
Bye? Oh that's the soccer player up David Beckham. Yeah, wow,

Speaker 1 (14:26):
Thank you awesome.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
Can be so excited you're talking about your daughter or
Gracy Abrams.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
Oh, you know both, I.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Present my daughter.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
That's awesome. So you're going to take the old the
eldest in honor of the birthday. Yes, I think I
should make the name Hayden Haten.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
Happy birthday. We appreciate you.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
Happy birthday, Hate and your mom just wenting tickets to
see Grazy Abrams three days you need to know.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
Well, Happy Friday, and thank you so much for joining us.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
We appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
Right now, Van Man out because Ricky Sanchez is out.
He has three things that you need to now.

Speaker 3 (15:04):
Thank you, Zach. If you're planning on traveling this summer,
there may be a new obstacle in your way. We
all know that gas prices are crazy high right now,
and that's now having a big effect on air travel.
American Airlines is temporarily suspending a handful of summer routes
due to the cost of jet fuel. It isn't totally
clear if this will affect BNA yet, but it's reported
that at least six routes will be removed from their

(15:25):
summer schedule. Airfare is already crazy high right now. Now,
there will be fewer options out there for travelers. We'll
see if this directly affects in Nashville. Big news out
of cmafest last night. It all got started last night,
you know, running all weekend here in Nashville, and the
crowd at Easan Stadium witnessed the reunion of Florida Georgia
Line Iconic, pretty cool, Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelly together again,

(15:48):
first performance since twenty twenty two, and yeah it was
a surprise. There were some rumors, but nothing confirmed. Tyler
said on stage. We got three things we want to
say tonight. First of all, God is good. Of all,
life is short, and most importantly, your boys. We back, baby,
So it sounds like they're back, baby. Yeah, they are
not just a one baby, They're back, baby, Baby back ribs,

(16:11):
very cool. FGL is officially back. And here we go, guys,
the moment we've all been waiting for. In other concert news,
I hope you're ready.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
It's time.

Speaker 3 (16:19):
Our favorite part of summer is back. This is the
tenth anniversary of River on the Rooftop. We think this
promotion and drive me crazy, but goes open our free
summer concerts. Completely free concerts are not cheap these days.
We're doing something about it. This one is free We
are here this morning to announce the first show of
the summer. It's gonna be back at Skydeck on Broadway.

(16:40):
We love that place. It's happening Sunday, June twenty first,
just a couple weeks away. We're gonna have local artist
Max Boyle out there opening the show. Yeah, we're gonna
have Bailey Latrelle. He's the son of Brian Latrell from
the Backstreet Boys. Very cool. We're gonna have these guys.

Speaker 5 (16:57):
The calling, no, how about that the calling for free
Skydeck on Broadway, And that's not iconic, that's not it.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
Though.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
There's one more name to give you right here, and
his name is Miles Smith.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
She's said Hi, nice to meet you to Nie Baby.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
Yes, get up, tuffty. She's a free show with Miles
Smith in the calling.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
Joe, I'm so excited. You have absolutely no idea.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
That's we outdo ourselves every year. I cannot wait for this,
a completely free show, all ages, coming out again Sunday,
the twenty first, Skydeck on Broadway. The doors will open
at six. Just come and you'll you'll be a part
of it. That's that's how we'll really just show up.
That's all you have to do. Let's play Miles Smith.
You're stargazing. We will see him on the twenty first.

(17:54):
We will see you there too. River on the Rooftop
is back, baby. It's one oh seven five of the River, Zach.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
And Manno in the morning.

Speaker 3 (18:02):
On the river, it's time for the leftovers. We do
this on Fridays. We go around. We each get thirty
seconds to present a topic that did not make the
show this week. There's only so much time. We can't
squeeze it all in. No Ricky today, she's out, So
it's is Zach and myself. So Zach, take your time
with the buddy. A little more than thirty seconds to play.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
We oh, I get more? Yeah? Okay great. So I
would like to talk about this list that I found
on Breddit. It it is this bride asking for the
quote unquote silliest marriage advice, and the Internet definitely delivered.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
Okay, good. This is good because Ricky is off getting married,
so this is stuff we can share with her, which
is back.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
So this I'm gonna start with. My favorite one is
when you have fights, you can always just yell, switch
and then you argue from the other side.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
Oh my goodness. That would be a difficult thing to
do in the moment, but I definitely see how it
could be beneficial.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
I feel like you would like break up the fight,
which makes sense to me. And then also, can I
try that with you and Ricky when you're arguing in
the studio one day?

Speaker 1 (19:00):
Good?

Speaker 3 (19:00):
Okay, I'm gonna go for it.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
Also, I agree on which direction knives are put in
the dishwasher.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
Yeah, that's they go down, the sharp bark goes down. Yeah,
always agreed.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Also rock paper scissors to solve everything.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
I don't like it, why because I would lose. I mean,
what if I lose? You know, That's that's leaving too
much of what.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
If you lose, that's fine, then you have to accept it.

Speaker 3 (19:23):
But I'm always right. I'm always right, so oh okay.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
Also, I will say this is the other favorite one
that I saw on the list is a second bathroom
is always worth it extra money?

Speaker 3 (19:33):
Yeah? Agree, Yeah, that's good.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
Uh, thank you.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
I found a list of the best excuses if you
want to leave work early, and uh, you know, I
don't condone lying, wink wink, but it says there's a
few of them in here that are great. A pipe
burst at your home. That's specific enough that it just died.
It could work. Nobody's gonna question that your dog ate
something questionable. You have to get home. Everybody loves the dogs,
so you gotta Why do I feel like you've used

(20:00):
both of those?

Speaker 2 (20:01):
I've never used the pipe burst before, Kevin, What you're
literally lying?

Speaker 3 (20:07):
When did I use? Okay, Okay, moving on, because that's
not true. You broke a tooth, that's a good one.
You gotta get the emergency dental care. Your car broke down. Actually,
this is good advice. Next time your car does break
down or you get a flat or something, take a
picture of it, just so later in the future you
can send it to your boss and say, hey, look
I got a flat. Send it all of the time
jury duty. I mean, it's not a great thing to

(20:28):
lie about that, but that could get you a few
days off, and then maybe say your physical is taking
longer than expected, so because you know, everybody's got to
go get a physical every once in a while, nobody's
taken tabs on you. You're there.
