Speaker 1 (00:00):
Saturday morning, open phones. It's April. We missed April Fool's
Day by a few days, but uh we knocked it
out of the park last week. Everybody's freaking out over
the stock market this week, so I imagine some Trump
haters will be calling it today and you're welcome to
call in and hate away. But uh, my dad always
said this, if you're going to redo the kitchen, Oh my,

(00:22):
my hear that. Oh my, Mike descrapped that if you're
going to redo the kitchen, there's going to be a
lot of dust and debris at first, but when the
kitchen's done, it's going to look beautiful. So right now
he's stern it up. The tariffs are driving people nuts
and stalk. All the rich people are freaking out now,
So all you people that hate the right wing rich people,

(00:43):
you can say, well, they're suffering or stalk. I even
believe on Facebook my wealthy friends are all freaking out
because they're you know, their investments are dying right now,
but they're resetting the fun right now. So the magic
number's eight two one nine eighty six. Eight two one
nine eight eighty six, And Wendy, your first good morning
Wendy wake up for me, Well.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
It's a parent right now. To me, a lot of
things are going on that really shouldn't be and talking
about what is real and what is not real. There's
a lot of AstroTurf going on as far as people
demonstrating they're trying to get less astroturff, apparently from the

(01:31):
commercials I've just listened to. I had a situation where
a friends should have been as growing rent for lack
of repairs. How that works is when you are renting
and or leasing a property and they don't do the repairs,
you go to the county court, you put the rent
money and escrow and they don't get and you keep

(01:54):
on putting it in there month by month until they
get around doing the repairs. And so when you have
repairs that never get done, that's how you deal with it.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Now.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
In Delaware, I'm I had people telling me, oh, these
ares are horrible, these as are horrible, and I said, well,
why didn't you do this? You look at the city manager,
figure out where they're from and figure out what they
are specialized in, and then you look at the politicians
in your town and see if they are there's one

(02:32):
elected official on a committee and suddenly your money's going
places that are really amazing. For example, in Delaware there
is something called the Green Pack and we are part
of the Green Pact. It's amazing because if you go
and look at the Green Pact, Delaware is a very

(02:53):
red area. Those people vote Republican dependently. However, a member
of the Green Pact, which the other cities aren't like that. Now,
how did that happen? Well, Epstein's plane landed at Port

(03:13):
Columbus a lot, and our people go on jun kits
for sister city and stuff like that, and honey pot
operations have been admitted and at the times talked about
how to avoid a honeypot that I've said in the past,

(03:35):
Pence was right about having his wife at dinners when
he went with people. Because we know now that allegations
don't even have to be true. So this is a
time where you have to do your own research and
have taked about genealogical proof, conflict of interest in the

(03:56):
second half of that. So you need to you know,
if they're statistics to say how many people of the
protesters are ones that you know they do geofencing, are
the same people at different protests for different things and
sometimes different sides of the same issue. So what is

(04:20):
real and what is not real you can find out
for yourself. I don't have to tell you. You can
find out. So protect each other. Keep eyes open. They
know what your rights are. And don't give up. Don't
think that you can't keep trying. If you keep if
you give up, you have failed. That's the only way

(04:41):
you can fail. Going down. Finding the corrupt system in
a legal way is what you should be doing. So
look at your elected officials and if you find out
that they might just be compromised, maybe it's the day
that you file to run for office and it's something

(05:03):
that everybody should consider it. Or showing up the tity
council meetings and what are you thinking?

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Exactly? A good day? All right? Take care? Hey Dick
from Dayton. Bring it home to this first segment of
the Saturday Morning on Phones Morning.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
Boots, my buddy, how are you doing today?

Speaker 1 (05:22):
I'm good. I don't like all this rain, but I'm surviving.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
This rain is something else, you know, Boot, It's it's
it's really bad. Yeah, I was up with Bob came
to get me yesterday and then playing them the strubbers.
So I got to play tomorrow. So I'm back to
my music, and uh, you know, life's been pretty good
to me. I've been seeing my friend and everything. She's

(05:45):
doing a lot better. So yeah, I haven't been following
the the basketball two Buchs though, but I'm here we go.
The Reds are in deep deep during the deep poor
ready boots, you know, yeah, yeah yeah, But I've been
you know, uh, going to the library. I've been doing

(06:07):
some research there looking up. I saw your website there.
It's really neat. Wtv n's website is great and all that.
I saw you one there. You look good, boots. It
was pretty neat.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
You know.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Wow, I didn't know they actually put me on there.
Huh yeah it was. I have a lot of money.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
Yeah yeah, I enjoyed it. But back to my music,
you know. So it's getting about that time to get
up their boots.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
You know, I understand get it rocking it out, you
know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (06:35):
Yeah? Yeah, but yeah, so uh yeah, that's what's been
happening with me. I thought i'd give you a little
pick me up today.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
I'm glad everything's going well for you, buddy. We'll talk
to you all right. Saturday morning, the PHONESI is the
magic one number six. We got Dick, we got Ransom,
we got all kind of people calling in, so you
just call in and I know, wow, that's a first anyway.

(07:06):
Damn Foods brought to you by the Metal Roof Company,
always protected by the undefeated. America made that, don't they
off I'm not hard to make. Studios on news radio
six y ten WTV, we're talking on break and uh,
I don't know the details about this kid stab any
other kid, but they're already covering it on the news.
But George Floyd's a hero. I love the double standard

(07:28):
in our country nowadays. It's gone from us being in
the sixties, which over the top racist country. That evolved
and hopefully we're ninety percent fixed of all that garbage.
But now anytime another student gets killed, it's a good kid.
They they don't they don't cover it because there's no

(07:50):
no ratings. So believe me, George Floyd brought huge ratings.
Cities got burned to the ground, Democrats took a knee
in the Ovaugh Capital's main whatever you call that, out
front and and made you know all this, And it's
amazing how they pick and choose. When anybody gets murdered,

(08:11):
anybody gets murdered, it's sad. But this kid was a
four point zero student. I guess he was a good kid.
I guess they had a word incident from what I
can put together on a great you know, fake news
read on social media. But he was killed and the
media is no big deal because there's no story there.
So don't lose sleep or it's just the way the

(08:31):
world works. Ransom what he got for me? Buddy?

Speaker 3 (08:38):
How you doing? Can you hear me?

Speaker 1 (08:40):
I hear you now?

Speaker 3 (08:41):
Okay, man, Hey, God bless your brother. Hey. I wanted
to bring in acouraging word that you know you sit
and you mentioned when you started to show that some
of your rich friends are all worried about the tariffs.
Don't worry about that. God is resetting the country, uh,
you know, physically and spiritually. And this is this is

(09:04):
really not about you and me, but it's about our kids,
our grandkids and their kids about setting up things. Now,
what was kind of cool this week that happened was
that Going Beck had a guy on was talking about,
you know, this reset with these tariffs, and it's basically
he's using as a tool to negotiate so we can
get in a better position bring back jobs things like that.

(09:27):
Now those jobs they're bringing back are not gonna be
the jobs in nineteen fifty fifties, when you get the
factories and building cars, it's all going to be automated.
So this one dude talked about that they built homes
with robots, which I had never heard about before.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
So my son is a welder out into Vat and
he's getting married in September. I'm really excited for him,
and I'm really excited about the lady he's marrying, and
she's gonna be a great addition to the family. But
the deal is I start thinking about that. I said, well,
you know, think about my son. I love my son,
and I can see the automation coming, so I want

(10:07):
him to, you know, be ahead of the curve. So
all of a sudden, this idea I Google search that
they have these certificates for arc welding technicians who program
these robots to do welding. Okay, So I send him
this whole encouraging text and he responds back. Dad, he says,

(10:30):
thanks for the text. I just wanted you to know that, right,
now we have a robot that I'm working with and
I'm talking to him about getting me a certification. You know.
So I'm excited for my son's future, but I'm excited
for the country. And I don't know if you heard
this week, and this is my last point, is that

(10:53):
President Trump gave a pardon to a guy who was
like the right hand guy that was working with Hunter
Biden and Joe Biden, and he came out and then
you know, Joe Biden was going to just let him
sit in jail forever it was, and then it came out.

(11:14):
He said point blank that that Joe Biden on the
golf course made two calls to set up deals with China. Now,
the only reason I called in this morning was to
share that during those four.

Speaker 5 (11:29):
Years that we've been going.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
Through with Joe Biden and all the corruption, I only
had one prayer because I didn't want to pray, and
I kept saying, God, show your truth, show your truth.
And it's amazing. Trump went through all this stuff, got
assassinated it several times with the trials, and everything just
fell apart because the truth kept coming out. So here's

(11:51):
why I want to leave with your listeners, and this
is for me too. Let's pray this year that God's
truth would come out. He would help us to see
not what he's not only what he's doing in the country,
but what he's doing spiritually to make us the country
he wants us to be. And then also because of
Jeremiah one twelve, he says, I have my word to

(12:12):
perform it that we can ask that he would exalt
the righteous and demote the unrighteous, and that would be
on our local, state and national level. With that, I
bless your show today, buddy, and I.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
Preidy you take care of Ransom. I got time around.
Let's go to Ron. Good morning Ron. Ron.

Speaker 5 (12:33):
I have a statement here. I think the executive branch
of the government it's not supposed to be for a
king or emperor or one man government. And right now
Trump has issued terrifs against Canada and Mexico and other countries.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
Yeah that's a good thing.

Speaker 6 (12:55):
Yeah, you're right, and it's it's.

Speaker 5 (13:02):
Causing some uncertainty, job losses, terror retaliation, huge financial losses,
especially in Canada and US, and Canadians are canceling trips
to the US and canceling orders for recreation vehicles and
liquor and all this stuff, and already Stilantis has laid

(13:25):
off employees in Canada and US. My question to you,
you're familar with the auto industry, do you think this
is hurting it a lot? The terraffs?

Speaker 1 (13:37):
No, I think here's my point. I'm glad you brought
that up because I was thinking about heart about this
the other day. Even Honda stepped up to the plate
and building more civic stuff over in Indiana or Illinois.
So it's gonna get this an equal playing field. So
here's what happening automotive business. Okay, we let the Japanese
come in and take over. We let them get away

(14:00):
with building a better car, because at those times, back
in the seventies, America couldn't build a good car. We
had a citation, the Chavette, the Cordoba's, the Dodge Aspen.
I can name all the junkers we dealt with all
through the seventies. The Japanese came in with the didn't
have good steel, that's why they brought it out in
a week. But we let them in. Hardy did any

(14:21):
tariffs on them, and now they're here, they build a
better car. Okay, we finally are building a better car
in the last twenty five years. We're almost up to
the standard of the Japanese. Okay in my opinion, But
we let them come in and walk all over us,
and I blame the government for that. If we but
deally good news is we wouldn't let the Japanese come

(14:42):
in and build a better product. We would still be
driving Chevy Citations and junk cars we dealt with in
the seventies and eighties. So with the tariffs, the cars
are going to go up a little bit, but the
cars are already out of control anyway because of our
government backup cameras. Fifteen air bags I'm joking about that.
I don't know how many exact number is. But we
are thanking cars for stupid people, not teaching people how

(15:03):
not to be stupid drivers. So the tariffs are going
to go up a little bit. But here's what's going
to happen once we don't step down and they felt,
you know, they tear if the heck out of us,
but we can't tear iff them. So you know, it's
what's good for me is good for you. So Trump's
using this as a negotiating point. I'm really think in
about six months everything was going to filter out and

(15:26):
it'll go back to normal. But we'll be not bowing
down to other countries. And I don't know why we
do that. I don't know why we give Ukraine billions
the fight a war that we have nothing to do with.
We have people, we have homeless veterans, we have Americans suffering.
I'm not talking about US guys that have good retirements
and have been successful in life. I'm talking about the
guy in eastern Ohio that makes fifty grand a year

(15:50):
and he lost his job because Sleepy Joe came in
and signed all these actions to not drill and frack.
And these people grew up in a coal mine. It
didn't know any better. And I'm making bad people. That's
just who they are. But our government, anytime our government
sticks our nose in something, they screw it up. Our
police can't do their job. You go to the post office,

(16:12):
they're underpowered. You go the post office, there's one poor
lady working and you got to lying clear out the door.
Then you go to the BMV. They're so understaffed. You
go in there, and if you ever walk out of
the BMV with a skipping your step. You must be
out Licking County because anyone in Franklin County. It's not
the ladies fault behind the plexiglass. The COVID glass is
still up by the way, so you can't hear. Half

(16:33):
of them are Democrats still, whether stupid masks. I mean,
it's like we need to reset American Unfortunately, I in
my opinion, we're going to suffer a little bit and
cars are going to go up just a little bit.
But it will cause the Japanese, the Koreans, the German
companies to build more cars in America, which gives more
jobs to Americans. Like Honda. You ask anybody to retire

(16:53):
from Honda. They have a skip in their step. They
had no unions, they had no management issues. They treat
her employees like gold. They were able to come in
and build a plant that was five times ahead of
a GM or FOD or Chrysler plant. So we've we've
painted ourselves into a corner. So I think we need
to do this. It's going to stink for a few months,
but in the car business, we need to have an

(17:15):
even playing field. Even though I'm a diehard Honda guy,
but Honda builds most of their cars here. Now for
the most American made car on the road, I think
last I checked other than that Tesla. Isn't that crazy.

Speaker 5 (17:26):
You made some good points there. You bet you had.
Japan blocks it's markets. It doesn't allow too much foreign competition.
They they block it out. Yeah, the pier and technology
is science and map they're known for that. But you know,
foreign competitions kind of not allowed. But I'm just saying

(17:48):
that I think a lot of innocent people are going
to be hurt in the meantime while this is goingt on.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
Yeah, I agree, it's going to be a sad run.
It's going to it's gonna hurt for a few months.
But well, I'll tell you this. Mike Cousin's a multi
millionaire and he was all over social media on oh
my stock market, and I got on there and I
simply said, you know what, the middle class people have
been suffering so bad over the last twenty years that
they don't have to worry about their stocks. They don't

(18:16):
have to worry about their four one case. They don't
have any left. They're barely getting by since seven when
gas was four bucks a gallon in the cow'sing crisis
and everything we've done, and I think it's just all
come to a head and I don't know it needs popped.
I don't know body, but hey, Ron, I appreciate you.
Thank you, thank you for bringing up some great points.
Starting running phones on damn Boots always brought to you

(18:36):
by the metter of company, protected by the undefeated American
Madettle Tite from the heartle of Meck Studios on news
Radio six to ten WTV, And this song goes perfect

(18:57):
with my next collar. He didn't calling last week. I
think he had an east infection. Let's go to Paul. Morning. Paul,
What the heck, he's a buddy of mine.

Speaker 7 (19:11):
Good morning.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
You don't fall I hear you talking. Where the heck
you been?

Speaker 7 (19:17):
I don't know, Hey, well hey yeah hey, just one uh.
Somebody called in a couple of weeks ago. It might
have been Mark. I think I think it was Mark,
and he was talking about Ukraine and Russia, which always
fascinates me. But I think I think, oh Trump needs
to I think Russia is trying to give him an

(19:39):
off ram, and I think he needs to get off
the off ram because this this whole war over there
and it's not even a war. Really, it's I mean,
it's a war, but it's not. They haven't gotten a
full score, full scale war with Ukraine. That's a special
military operat But what they've done is they've turned into
a war of attrition, which is I think what they

(20:00):
wanted at the first place. But the point of the
story is they got rid of Shugu, who actually used
to run their defense department, and they put in this
guy named Belosov. And this has been a while back,
but Belosov is an economist. So basically what the war
comes down to is we know exactly how many pieces
of artillery, how many tanks we can make, how many

(20:21):
planes we can make, how many bombs we can make,
how many people we can get, how many rifles we
can do, how much ammunition we can make, And it
just comes down to a war of numbers. And now
NATO is talking about still sending troops into Ukraine, which
is just going to complicate things ridiculously worse. And then

(20:41):
Marco Rubio just this week said that, and let me
go back and Trump's first term, he wanted to make
sure everybody was three percent of their GDP, and NATO
would go towards defense at this juncture right now, out
of thirty two NATO countries, only five meet that requirement,
with the United States being one. Well, this week, I

(21:02):
don't know if you saw it, but Marco Rubio is
asking NATO to increase it to five percent of GDP. Well,
as the world leader, you know, we're going to do
that probably if it comes to it. But that's going
to be one point five trillion dollars in defense spending
for the United States where it sits at currently nine
hundred and fifty billion. So why, I mean, we're the

(21:24):
only ones that really do what we're supposed to do
in the first place. We're the ones that have basically
more or less defended Ukraine through all this nonsense. But
we need to we need to get on that offer.
I'd like to see the war stop. Don't get me wrong.
I want peace. I don't want people slaughtering to slaughtering
each other. That's stupid. But at the same time, it's like,
like you said earlier, why are we spending billions and

(21:47):
billions and billions, and now we're talking about going up
to one and a half trillion dollars for defense and
and and like and like Yemen. Why, I've already heard
numbers on Yemen that's anywhere between four hundred million to
billion dollars what we're spending over there with two aircraft
carriers and all the strikes and all the planes. I mean,
every hour a plane's up an F twenty two Raptor

(22:11):
and they're not using those. But let's just say they
were at seventy five thousand dollars per hour just to
fly that plane.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
They look at money in our government like it doesn't
mean anything, all all parties. When you see billion and
trillion and even one hundred thousand dollars, I sit back
and go, do they realize that that's not even on
social media that's been going on. As a kid, I
remember hearing these numbers and I can't even do math
it equates up to any trillions. I don't know how

(22:41):
to may zero that even is. It scares of daylights
out of me. It's all mallarchy, it's all fake money.
It's terrible.

Speaker 7 (22:47):
Well when it's and the bad thing too is they
haven't found out, they haven't found efficient ways of doing
current combat. You know, a lot of these smaller countries
are using smaller arms and drones and nonsense. You know,
but what are we going to do, you know, shoot
off an eight hundred thousand dollars missile to knock down

(23:07):
a twenty five thousand dollars drones. I mean, you don't
get me wrong.

Speaker 1 (23:11):
Well, because the nephew of well, there's a nephew of
the congressman invented that missile. It gets a kickback, then
he gets a kickback, then he gives it to his
Republican party across the away, and then he gives it
to his Democrat buddy. And you and I are sitting
there wondering if we can afford breakfast to get together
next week.

Speaker 7 (23:28):
It's insane, it is, it is, it's absolutely crazy. So
but let's see, let's see what these tears do. Yeah,
I mean, and everybody them right, and it's going to
be it's going to be a little paint upfront, and
everybody was warned up front. But we have to. It's
a huge gamble if it doesn't pay off, because it's
it's bad, bad.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
Yeah, it's really worth He's only worth ten million right now,
he's probably worth fifteen. So I hope he gets through it.

Speaker 7 (23:55):
But if you can, but we don't bring back. If
we don't bring back manufacturing, that's the biggest thing. If
we don't, If that's not where this leads to, we're
done anyway, Because I mean the military industrial complex. If
you go to war with Russia to China, you know,
try to protect protect Taiwan. We can't build stuff fast enough.
You know, we don't have the base that we did

(24:16):
in the nineteen twenties. We don't have that anymore.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
Hey, Paul, let me say this too. You know, the
real working men were our dads. Because I love when
someone says, well, I was an executive. As soon as
you say that, my wall goes up. I'm proud of
your executive. I'm proud you went to college. I'm proud
you got all these paperwork on the wall. And you
know your your frat buddy got you the good job,
and you got his son the good job, and everybody

(24:40):
came millionaires. Well, now we're all a bunch of executives
and we don't have any plumbers. We don't have any
of the people. And then we put down those people.
So now you've got to be a plumber. One hundred
and fifty grand a year to be a good plumber,
which as you should. But the problem is all the
executives now are like, oh my gosh, I'm so witch
and I earned it. No, you didn't earn it. My
dad earned it going in a steel mill six half
days a week, dying of cancer, breathing in stuff. So

(25:03):
you can have a fancy toaster. So don't tell me
you're working man because you buy lobsters or whatever you
do as an executive and you make millions.

Speaker 7 (25:11):
I agree with you, one hundred particular. Last thing I'm
last thing I want to add, just to put this
in perspective. So and people anytime I call when duck
duck got me, don't don't listen to my words like
you can research what I'm telling you. It's not you
but whoever's listening to right, right, But Russia can make
fifteen hundred tanks in the year. We barely get one
hundred and fifty three together, and a lot of those

(25:33):
are remounts. Those aren't even like brand new tanks. Right,
got to hit, so you think about it back.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
All right, Paul, take care of this is Saturday morning
in phones. Some damn boots always brought you by the
Metal roof company, protected by the end offe'd American matattle
tale from Hartle Bank Studios on news radio six' ten W.
Tv SO i said a few callers ago That america
is building a good car, Finally AND i remember reading
something my buddy and The fishbowl, SAID i don't have

(26:02):
my facts when comes a, car that's my main. Thing
and you, Know i'm kind of liberaling away whatever fuel's.
RATE i roll with BECAUSE i grew up in a great.
AREA i grew up on the. RIVER i grew up
where they had a. Job everybody had a fridge full of.
Food hardly anybody is on, Welfare hardly anybody's on food.
Stamps there was job opportunities to go over and here

(26:23):
come our wonderful democratic RAND. Epa gotta make the air,
Clean gotta do, this gotta do. That let's just say
the air was dirty and it was a little stinky.
Sometimes but you know, what we had a fridge full
of fridge. Food and they came in and killed all the.
Jobs now here's the fun. Part now everybody's fifty and

(26:44):
hooked on. Methamphetamines you go to my, hometown in a
lot of the, areas the good, NEIGHBORHOODS i drive through
that used to be where the cool mom and dads.
Lived we hung out and be, like oh my, gosh
look at their house and there's a crackhead out on a.
Porch not all, cases but they got clean. Air but
everybody's freaking stoned high on. DRUGS i don't even know

(27:05):
what to say. Anymore you, know diet fifty because you
have clean, Air diet seventy five because there was a little.

Dawn good, Morning. Dawn what you got for? Me my?

Speaker 6 (27:40):
BROTHER i can't fasting for the life of, me why
anybody would think this is a pop a way to do.
It the impetus behind. It the idea behind it of
bringing back manufacturing to a cold To america is, okay
it's a good, idea BUT i, mean, SERIOUSLY i, mean
the price of. Everything if this actually, happens it's gonna

(28:01):
skywalker for the Average. AMERICAN i, mean it's gonna.

not understand? This they voted for the, guy you, know
to go back to like pre twenty twenty. World we
don't want anymore. Resets we're done with the. Resets the
average post nowt. Here it's not A republican now A

draw the line in a, sand then you draw another,
one then you draw another, one then you draw. One
there just comes a. Time it's like When biden, said you,

(29:25):

job that we're going to have to buckle down and
