Speaker 1 (00:01):
Everything's gone wrong so far. I don't know how to
handle this. Sex a WTV and this is Zachary Sports.
Ella's here as per usual. The number to call in
six foot four eight two one nine eight eight six
six four eight two one WTV and I'll throw some
things in there along the way. If you agree or disagree,
feel free to call in and have a great day

(00:23):
back sid West Virginia. Everything will be just fine. And
tell your mom I said, Hi. Okay, first and four roast,
we got to go to Bob, who's been holding on
for a bit. Bob, good morning. How are you, sir?

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Good morning?

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Thank you very much for taking my call first in
the morning. Okay, after last truth, I'm definitely appreciated about that.
But this around, I'll tell you now. One you get

(01:00):
when people are saying all the war has gone on
too long? You know, two months an age that consider
that long. I'll give you a clue. When I was
in the Navy in Vietnam, i did three West factories

(01:24):
and the bottom line is that's four years. That's a
lot longer than a couple of months. All I'm telling
you is, bottom line is we've got some people, got
to get some patience. And I'll tell you if liberals,

(01:47):
I just loved the thought of I ran having and
I mean an Adam Baum and they're you know, working
on on that thing all the time. Bottom mine is, uh,
number one, developed some patients. And number two, I'm sure

(02:11):
her do not hope that they're going to, you know,
give them get some type of missile relatively close so
that there's no defense to land on New York City
or Los Angeles or Chicago. Bottom line is, they got
a lot of bad balancing. But people, you've got to

(02:35):
be on on on the side of the United States
on this and develop some patients.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Please, Bob, how long do you think that this is
going to go on?

Speaker 4 (02:46):
Just in your opinion, I'm I'm hoping of this thing,
especially with Cuba.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
I would would love to see Cuba get their together,
get back into the realm of the normal. We'd like
to have a nice neighbor ninety miles from the coast
of Florida. I'd like to see that thing wrapped up
really quickly. But we'll see how long it goes. But

(03:20):
I'll tell you this about a couple of months, and
I'm hoping there's some positive developments this thing with Iran
gets straightened out and the people over there prankly, I'd
like to see the government get enough weapons together out there,

(03:43):
like guns and grenades and things like that to go
out there and take some bad leadership at the top
of the Iran and go out there and enjoy peace
and prosperity, you know, for a really long time. I'm

(04:03):
praying hard for them. But you know, it's sort of
like when you get a whole bunch of people saying,
oh wait, we've had an interesting conversation. Yeah. All I'm
telling is the thing I always thought about, particularly after

(04:27):
you look at World War Two, is sometimes we have
to take a few years to takes some time. But
this thing Trump needs to get is acting more together
on this thing, and I hope I would love to
see it in within two months at the outside, you know,

(04:50):
and so Iran could actually become a peaceful, normal country
that doesn't want to destroy everybody around them.

Speaker 5 (05:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Well, I think no matter what your political affiliations are,
we don't want to see it go longer than it
absolutely has to.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Yeah, that's that said. I want I'd rather have a
court victory for for like a blog scrag or something
like that, go in there and take care of the
take care of business. But in any event is certainly uh.
And this other thing. The one thing I can say

(05:31):
is positive about the about the Senate, UH, is that
basically they all came together, all the senators came together
and said, we're going to donate and not receive our
paychecks for you know, so that we can uh, basically

(05:54):
get some money to people like if they happened to
be in the then you know, out there and people
are fighting and they're not getting paid. I mean I
never faced that when I was for four years. I'm
thankful I got paid, especially at this time.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
But yeah, I appreciate it. How long were you in
the Marines?

Speaker 3 (06:23):
Uh? No, I was.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
I was in the Navy, sorry sorry, for forty years.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
Marines went on big ships. I was on a smallowship.
I was on a destroyer.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
I got you.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
But it's uh. But you know, as like you say,
you've got to be patient. And and interestingly enough, I
met a gentleman recently ever to be a and the
gentleman served on board the John F. Kennedy, which is

(07:00):
a larger ship, and on that ship, and this is something,
believe me, I pray for. They had a rabbi on
that ship, and they also had a regular, a regular Christian.
And believe me, I had never heard a sermon that

(07:26):
ever addressed anything in the Bible. That's a blessing. But
I'm definitely praying that on all the ships out there,
they're going to have the same type of you know,
camaraderie out there. But any event, thank you for your

(07:48):
time and God bless you.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Okay, all right, Bobby, you have a good one. I
appreciate it. Ella, I have something for you. Just because
they had time to take another caller before we get
to the break. I thought this was highly important. You
know how some people want to change things back in
certain ways of this country. And I just thought that
this was something that you would be all for and
that you and I could work together to kind of

(08:11):
get off the ground. These are people's opinions, men's opinions.
Marriage a device in the fifties. Okay, are you ready?
These are like five of the top kind of ideas.

Speaker 6 (08:27):
Like what men are looking for in women?

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Well, here we go, right you ready?

Speaker 6 (08:31):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Marriage a wife should treat her marriage like a career.

Speaker 6 (08:36):
Okay, does it have the same salary as a career.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
So that's a yes for Ella. Put that down. As
for yes, a wife is responsible for her husband's success, Okay,
that's a yes. If a husband cheats, his wife must
have caused it.

Speaker 6 (08:53):
Well obviously we all know that.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Yeah, that's it. I put you yes anyway, Yeah, you
need to look more attractive every day.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
Not you.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
I just meant in general, the white.

Speaker 6 (09:03):
Yeah, we're still doing the marriage device.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Ye, I'm just talking to you. I randomly segued into
being like, you need to worry about a shorter skirt.

Speaker 7 (09:12):
It is six in the morning. Of course I don't
look good. Yeah, I mean otherwise he's gonna cheat, right, So.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
Yeah, exactly, those two go hand in hand. And finally
you can find a husband like you find a job.

Speaker 7 (09:27):
I mean that part honestly, that one is correct. If
you've ever been on a dating app, it's a series
of interviews, screening process.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
I mean that one is it fine, it's a blast.

Speaker 7 (09:39):
Honestly, I've never had a nightmare experience on one. I
hear what other people go through. I've never had had
the horror stories that people do. But yeah, okay, I
mean I don't know.

Speaker 6 (09:52):
I'm not married. I have no plans to get married.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
So okay, well there goes what I was gonna do
this weekend. What gonna ask you to get married?

Speaker 8 (09:59):
Nope, and then and then cheat on me, then cheat
on me constantly and derail that plan. Now I got
to figure out what to do with the rest of
my weekend. All right, six he WTV and we'll get
to the cost suit as we get back. Six he WTV.
This is Saturday Morning Open Folds. This is Zachary Schwartz.

(10:19):
I don't know how this happens, but I want to
mention real quick. A woman in Manhattan. I went to uh.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Six fifty three at fifth fifth Avenue, which is if
you've ever been to New York, it's kind of where
all the down by Rockefeller Center.

Speaker 5 (10:36):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
She parked her car along the side of the road,
which you get if you've ever been to New York.
I don't know how you get a parking spot there.
She opened.

Speaker 6 (10:44):
There's a reason there was a parking spot there.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
There definitely was because she stepped out of her car
and fell into a manhole that was open and she died. Yeah,
I've never heard that she felt feet. Doubt this. They're
actively investigating why the manhole was left open? I have you?
Have you been in New York?

Speaker 6 (11:07):
Yeah, okay, I lived there for a while.

Speaker 7 (11:09):
You never walk over the grates or the man holes,
you just avoid and the swords have alligators, so be careful.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
I have heard that. I have heard that, but I
don't understand how you like a manhole cover was completely
left open, she opened it and didn't see that she fell.
All of those things are bad, but how do you
get a parking spot?

Speaker 6 (11:29):
That's the part.

Speaker 7 (11:30):
Because there was a freaking open manhole cover there, somebody
else avoided it. Uh, I don't understand falling ten feet?
What else was Was there an alligator down there? How
did she die?

Speaker 1 (11:43):
That's all I that's all the information I got.

Speaker 6 (11:46):
Like what happened after?

Speaker 7 (11:48):
I don't know, but uh yeah, no, that's very sad,
and I think that everybody when you're in New York,
especially as a little kid. My uncle lived there, so
i'd visit as little kid as well. And yeah, terrified
to walk over any of those things that they were
just gonna fright. The g's like some final destination stuff.
But yeah, I think they need to look at It's

(12:09):
kind of crazy that there's just one level of protection,
and if it happens to be left open or whatever,
I think they need like a secondary right thing under
there now as a fail safe whatever, a backup in
case the cover is left off.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
I wonder if a truck, a big truck could have hit.

Speaker 7 (12:27):
It, That's what I think I heard that. Yes, a
truck did kind of dislodge it. So makes sense nobody
was really aware yet that.

Speaker 6 (12:34):
It was open.

Speaker 7 (12:36):
Okay, fair enough, isn't somebody just I didn't do my
job and put it back on.

Speaker 6 (12:40):
I don't know, but.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Yeah, odd story, Yeah, it's very od. Just again, since
you know New York. I don't know how she found
a parking spot, but like you said, they must have
seen that the manhole wasn't covering the hole. It just
avoided it and she must have missed it, all right.
The most important thing we do on the show every
sing Goal weekend is talk to my good, closest personal
friend Dick from Dayton Dick, how are you?

Speaker 9 (13:05):
Good morning, Zach and crew?

Speaker 1 (13:06):
How are you we're hanging in how are you this morning?

Speaker 9 (13:10):
Well, maybe the day is gonna tell the tale. The
cavalers are in the mess.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
Aren't they they're down oh two, the Knicks are looking
at When the Knicks play really well, they're good.

Speaker 9 (13:20):
So yeah, you can only hope, you know, you can
only hope get just terrible.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
I'm just but the.

Speaker 9 (13:28):
That the Guardians are doing pretty good. You know, they're
doing good. They've won like five in a row.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, they're doing pretty decent. I
know the Reds are about five hundred, which is on
average for the Reds. It's actually pretty good for the Reds.

Speaker 9 (13:43):
But I think, oh yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
Well, the Knicks and Calves play tonight eight o'clock, eight o'clock.

Speaker 6 (13:50):
The Calves can win.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
It's not like they can. It's not like they should
get swept, but they're gonna have to step up the
defensive intensity. Dick.

Speaker 9 (14:00):
Yeah, yeah, how's how's your week?

Speaker 1 (14:02):
Did you have a good week?

Speaker 5 (14:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (14:05):
I had a pretty good week. I was wanted to
tell you about. Uh. It's about twenty four minutes Miamisburg,
suburb of Dayton, and Debbie's group has been playing at
the nursing's home the uh it's called the Star City
Dolphmers and the senior citizens just really loved us. We

(14:28):
had uh they had cookies, forts and things, and uh,
we have a couple more this week, so yeah, I
have to get out this week and get some CDs.
I haven't been out much. I've been helping down in activities,
but uh, it's good with me, Zah, very good.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
What what was the name of the band again?

Speaker 9 (14:48):
Star City Dolphmers out of Miamisburg, Ohio.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
Dolphiners Dolphins, Star City Dollar General. All right, same thing, Dick,
Have a good day. I appreciate you call it as always.

Speaker 9 (15:02):
Okay, have a great day.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
Thanks, my friend, and have a good one. All right, Ransom,
you been on the longest. How are you this morning, sir?

Speaker 2 (15:10):
Good morning, Zach, Good morning Ella. I want to wish
you guys a happy Memorial Day. As we all know,
the reason you guys have a show and the reason
that I get to talk on the phone is because
of the bloodshed from the men and women who gay
their lives for this wonderful country we live in. Even
though everyone seems to like to criticize it, I will

(15:34):
never criticize it because I've been to two I've seen
coming does them twice in my own lifetime, and so
that's kind of my comment.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
On that union. Right.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Yeah, I went to the Soviet Union. We smuggled the
Bibles in and kg Ble was following us and something
out with James Bond movie. But those Russian Christians, we're
holding those Russian Bibles like they work like gold. And
you know, sometimes you have to you have to suffer

(16:05):
before you can really appreciate. And many people don't don't
appreciate this country because they've never been outside this country
and never seen how other people have to live. If
you statistically, if you want to look at the even
our poorest person on the street that's you know, begging

(16:25):
for money stuff like that, they they have it better
than ninety nine percent of the world out there as
far as the you know, when you're making one or
two dollars a day and you know it's not very much,
and a lot of poverty, a lot, but that that
is that's feeding into what I'm wanting to talk about.
Is I sent you that video a couple of weeks

(16:47):
ago about Brandy Kay and he had died and was
on you know, from a cardiac arrest. And you know
he was busy trying to be a millionaire as a
doctor and researcher, and he he team faced the face
of Jesus Christ in heaven, and God showed him all
kinds of good things and uh things that were going

(17:10):
to happen presently in the future. And some of the
things we don't really think about is that, you know,
we don't talk about our future a lot. We talk
about the present. They don't talk about the future. So
the video is talking about you know, Armygeddon talking about China,
talking about Russia, talking about maybe Iran in Korea, some

(17:33):
of the different forces that are going to come against God.
But Brandy's from his perspective and what he felt that
he said that God told him to share. The big
The big thing is that Jesus is coming back very soon,
quicker than people think, and that when you see millions

(17:54):
of Christians that are no longer here, they're going to
say it's an alien of Okay, now, that's kind of
interesting that they're talking about that, because he did another
video about that. That's the big deception, because you're hearing
a lot about the alien papers being yeah, yeah, and

(18:15):
one of the and and and I'm just going to
share this with you my personal feeling because it's Ransom speaking,
not somebody else or I don't have inside information or anything.
But I believe that these these so called aliens are
not aliens, they're actually demon spirits. Okay, I mentioned.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
Something like that, but he didn't elaborate on it.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
Yeah. Yeah, Now, one of the one of the one
of the descriptions, there was four descriptions of aliens. One
of them was Reptilian. Well, if you if you study
the Bible, you understand that, uh, demons manifest sometimes as reptilian.
And and if you listen to if you've ever listened

(19:01):
to Kevin Zaddard on YouTube, he's a minister and he
leaves a school for spiritual warfare, and he definitely talks
about that. Back in the forties fifties, when they were
doing all the atomic tests, they they he says that
he believes that they accidentally released demon spirits into the

(19:24):
earth because they were that's called the abyss, and what
happened was that they blew it open the abyss and
released these demanding spirits. So there's a lot of things
you know, here and there, whatever, and a lot of
people probably think, well, you're crazy, you know all that
kind of stuff. Well, there's just some things that are true,

(19:45):
you know. And Jesus said I'm the way, the truth
of the life. And then you know, with everything that's
going on in our country and around the world, there's
no coincidence. We're not just having problems in the United States,
but every country is having problems. And it's that scripture.
I always tell you guys every week Proverbs twenty ninety two.
When the righteous authority the people rejoice, when the unrighteous

(20:09):
and authority the people mourned. And we've got unrighteous leaders,
and I believe that some of them are just really
bad leaders, and a lot of them are being They're
being influenced and deceived by the enemy. I think the
enemy is whispering in their ear, and actually they don't
even realize it, but they're being used by God to

(20:30):
wrap this whole thing up. So you know, this is
a pretty strong statement. But my prayer for every listener
is that everybody knows Jesus Christ, because God doesn't want
to send anybody to Hell. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Right, we've got a heard break. I appreciate it. And
always your you're I don't want to say testimony.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
But you're.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
Uh fervent belief in the things that you believe in
and trying to spread your message. So very much, appreciate
it as always.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
Yeah, go bless you guys. Have a great weekend.

Speaker 7 (21:01):
All right, listening to Coast to Coast, I mean, open
phones real quick before we do go to break.

Speaker 6 (21:07):
I would be.

Speaker 7 (21:08):
Curious to hear this morning from anyone who either attended,
attempted to attend, or just was going home or somewhere
else and got stuck in the traffic the Bruno Mars
traffic Wednesday night.

Speaker 6 (21:22):
I stadium shows are.

Speaker 7 (21:24):
My idea of demons on Earth. I don't it doesn't
Nothing about that sounds fun to me.

Speaker 6 (21:29):
But I heard people had tickets and never.

Speaker 7 (21:32):
Made it to the concert because they were in traffic
the whole time and they never got to go.

Speaker 6 (21:36):
And people get trying to go home from work.

Speaker 7 (21:38):
It took like an extra three hours. I work in
the Grand View area and people trying to you know,
we're coming in. It took us an hour to drive
two miles. So I hear it was really awful. I
know they didn't have I didn't hear any of these
problems with the Luke Combs concert, which was on a Saturday, though,
so I think it was.

Speaker 6 (21:57):
Mixing with regular weekday traffic. It was just a nightmare.
Where was the show at Ohio Stadium?

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Okay, that's weird. I saw the Rolloyd Stones there and
there was no.

Speaker 6 (22:07):
It was probably a Saturday. I think it's the weekday
through situation.

Speaker 7 (22:11):
Because I know Luke Combs broke attendance records, so there
were more people there for Luke Combs than have been
there since nineteen ninety four for Pink Floyd.

Speaker 6 (22:18):
So Pink I didn't hear any of those problems.

Speaker 7 (22:21):
But yeah, on a regular weekday, it was kind of
a nightmare. And I just we're not, I don't think
equipped to handle this in Columbus, and I think it's
time we talk about some mass transportation options again, which
we never seem to put money into, but we can
waste it on a lot of other.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
Things, well, like data centers that we pay for and
they pay no taxes.

Speaker 7 (22:43):
Everything, everything like let's get a let's get I don't know,
rails into populated areas.

Speaker 6 (22:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
We fixed the code of system I heard.

Speaker 7 (22:53):
It was a complete nightmare. Luckily I didn't have to
travel anywhere. I would have lost my mind if it
took me two hours.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
To go three fending like Michael Douglas and fall it.
You would have just got out of your car and
left it. Yeah, went home. Yeah, totally see.

Speaker 8 (23:09):
Oh my gosh, six head WTV ed, we'll be right back.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
Six head w TV.

Speaker 6 (23:16):
You use it because I'm angry.

Speaker 1 (23:18):
That's okay, that's okay.

Speaker 6 (23:20):
Where'd the vending machines go?

Speaker 1 (23:22):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (23:24):
That's my Saturday morning breakfast. I get a bag of
chips and a diet pepsi every Saturday morning. It's the
only reason I come here, Like, okay, get up, alarm's
going off at five am.

Speaker 6 (23:34):
I don't want to.

Speaker 7 (23:34):
Get up, but I get some chips and some diet pepsi. Okay,
I'll get up. Motivate me with junk food, and now
it's going I get here.

Speaker 6 (23:43):
I have my dollar bills ready.

Speaker 7 (23:45):
I always keep make sure I have dollar bills for
Saturday so I can eat stuff that'll kill me this
one day of the week. And I go downstairs get
my chips and my diet pepsi and there's just a
big empty hole where the vending machine.

Speaker 6 (24:00):
Used to be.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
But now there's a new not vending machine, but sort
of like food thinged out, but it's not full of anything.
Did you see that? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (24:09):
So there's also it would be like hummus and pita chips.
I don't want that.

Speaker 7 (24:14):
I don't get out of bed for hummus. No, and
carrot sticks.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
No, I'll go hungry.

Speaker 7 (24:19):
I get out of bed for cheddar lays and diet
pepsi because nothing here. And I went into our old
abandoned area of the building where there was another venuing machine.

Speaker 6 (24:31):
Nope, that's gone too.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
They took the ones back there too, Yes, both of them.

Speaker 6 (24:35):
Yes, every vending machine in this building is gone.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
As you know, I drink way too much pop. That's
my backup. Yeah, pop thing. If I don't have any
pop here, got a problem?

Speaker 6 (24:46):
Not anymore? Oh yeah, now you're on my side. I
was listen.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
I heard you out. I just didn't. I knew the
ones downstairs were gone because I think I saw them
moving them. But the ones out there I didn't know
were gone.

Speaker 6 (24:56):
They're all gone.

Speaker 7 (24:58):
There's absolutely nothing in this building now. So I got
another six hours, six hours and twenty minutes to sit
here with no junk food fueling me.

Speaker 6 (25:09):
And no warning.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
That's just rude. They could have sent out an email.

Speaker 7 (25:13):
At the very least, they sent out emails for everything else.
I don't care about.

Speaker 5 (25:18):
Is that?

Speaker 6 (25:18):
What are email that?

Speaker 1 (25:21):
This is one of the funny I've not shared anything
out of school, but you see you you took a
picture of an email that we all got, and it was.

Speaker 6 (25:30):
The most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in my life.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
It was basically a company wide email that said nothing nothing.

Speaker 7 (25:38):
It was worse than saying nothing because it opened with
we know you're worried about this, so we're about to
address it. To call them your your worries, and they said,
we'll address it by telling you we're not going to
address it.

Speaker 6 (25:49):
That's what it said.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
It's the same like if you go to your therapist
and you're really upset. Now listen, we're to talk about this.
It'll be okay, we'll see you later.

Speaker 6 (25:58):
I'm not going to talk about it.

Speaker 1 (25:59):
That's what It was. One of the worst attempts at
uppity wide email thing that I've ever seen. And now
the vending machines.

Speaker 6 (26:08):
The absolute masterful gas lighting.

Speaker 7 (26:11):
I won't say masterful actually because we all saw right
through it. But it's like, if yeah, your your spouse
comes to you, I found these emails between you and
another woman. You're cheating on me. Honey, I understand that
would be upsetting to find that. So sit down, let
me explain this to you. All I have to say
is that I refuse to explain this.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
Yeah, we'll talk about it later.

Speaker 6 (26:30):
But here's what I know for fact, I'm amazing.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
But yeah, you also have to you're lucky to have
me Ella, you cheated or your husband cheated on you,
and listen, he's amazing.

Speaker 6 (26:44):
Yeah, that's all you need. Here's what I know for fact,
I'm awesome.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
Yeah, and we'll talk about it later.

Speaker 7 (26:49):
Maybe we're not gonna No, don't worry your pretty little
head about it. Just know that I'm awesome, and I
took away your venting machines and you need a fourth
app to get in the door to work on your phone.

Speaker 10 (27:01):
What do you I think we're painting the doors for
the ninth time this morning when you need to use
that studio to do your job, or setting and men
to paint the door again.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
I swear you never it was you never think about
that room that you're in, how loud it is out there,
when that door is open, when there's a bunch of
ad people, and then somebody's like, I have to paint
the inside of the door, so we're gonna have to
leave it open.

Speaker 7 (27:26):
I'm like, I'm gonna stand here while you're trying to
work and paint behind you.

Speaker 1 (27:30):
Yeah, and chat.

Speaker 7 (27:32):
And then as soon as it's done. It's gonna take
me an hour to put a coat of paint on
this thing. But then I'm gonna have to put the
second coat on.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
Do you see the wall there to your right.

Speaker 6 (27:41):
I can see the walls okay, right, you know how it's.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
Like all white and it's not the same color as
the rest of the room.

Speaker 6 (27:46):
Yeah, we decided to do that a couple weeks ago.

Speaker 7 (27:48):
In every studio, we got to tear out this one
panel for no discernible reason.

Speaker 1 (27:52):
And paint it white. So we talked to the guy.
Blazer and I were talk to the guy and it's
not his fault, but he's like, yeah, we have to
we're gonna paint these white. And we're like, why are
you painting them white? He's like, corporate wants us to
paint these white and we're like that doesn't make any sense.
The rest of the room is brown. And he's like,
don't look at me, right, it's not their fault, No,
it was his.

Speaker 7 (28:11):
They're doing what they're told to do and hired to do.
It's not their fault, but they're the ones here that
I get to take it out on. Unfortunately for them.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
It doesn't make any sense to paint this.

Speaker 6 (28:19):
It makes no sense.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
Did they paint every single every.

Speaker 6 (28:23):
Studio has that one panel pulled out, replaced and painted.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
If you could see what we were talking about. I
don't even know why they pulled it out. I guess
it looked bad maybe or just match.

Speaker 6 (28:35):
The rest of the realm. There's no real I mean,
we're just.

Speaker 7 (28:41):
Being to spend money, I guess, even though we can't
afford to have anyone.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
Work here, right. I liked when they pulled the panel
off and it was kind of like glue stuck to it.

Speaker 6 (28:50):
Yeah, the hotu, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
I kind of gave the room character. Now it's more sterile.

Speaker 7 (28:56):
Look, unless you're going to replace it all with wood
paneling and make this place looked like WKRP?

Speaker 6 (29:01):
What are we doing?

Speaker 1 (29:03):
Do they do they even make that wood panel it anymore?
Can make it for radio studio. I don't think Elliot
would let us change it, but he should because that
would be a great look.

Speaker 6 (29:16):
I don't know. Can I get a vending machine back
in here. Can I get a diet pepsi please?

Speaker 1 (29:19):
I'll send an email. That's all I can do. I
can't do anything else about it at the moment, but
I'm sorry. That was like, oh my god, I can't
believe my pop one is gone.

Speaker 7 (29:30):
There was a pop one downstairs too, That's what I'm
talking about. That's where my diet pepsi was.

Speaker 1 (29:34):
Yeah, but those are the twenty Okay, I get it.
But I always liked the cans more than the It
was a.

Speaker 7 (29:39):
Can was there was a bottle one and a can one,
and then there was a snack machine that had like
the best variety of snacks you've ever seen in.

Speaker 6 (29:48):
A vending machine.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
They were pretty good.

Speaker 7 (29:49):
They were downstairs was the Primo, the A team of
vending machines. Up Here was the C Team. Okay, but downstairs, Yeah,
but they're both gone. I'll take the C team right now.
But it's not here either.

Speaker 1 (30:01):
Just like they say in Caddyshack, you'll get nothing, and
like it, you'll get nothing.

Speaker 7 (30:06):
Imagine hauling your butt out of bed at five am
only for the promise of a diet pepsi and some chips.

Speaker 6 (30:13):
And then okay, it's time.

Speaker 7 (30:15):
It's time for me to go get my I'm a
creature of habit my Saturday fix.

Speaker 6 (30:20):
Yeah, and it's just empty.

Speaker 1 (30:24):
I don't know. I'll do I'll do what I can
to remedy situation, my life.

Speaker 7 (30:29):
I'm telling you like, I'm already teetering on the edge,
hanging there.

Speaker 6 (30:34):
And this was the straw on the camel's back.

Speaker 1 (30:36):
Okay, well hang in, You'll be okay, at least.

Speaker 7 (30:39):
Saying I can't hang in anymore. I was hanging in
the pepsi and Chips was keeping me hanging in.

Speaker 1 (30:44):
I'll figure something out, I promise we'll be right back.
Sixth Head, WTV and Zachary Swords Saturday Morning Open poodes Ella.
Not having the best morning, but that's okay. We'll figure
it out as we go along. Dave, you have been
on for the Reagan administration, how are you?

Speaker 5 (31:08):
Well, that's I've got fond memories of the administration that
was the second best behind our wonderful, fearless leader right now,
Donald J. Trump. But La, I can't believe that you
don't have one of those little I don't know, girly
backpacks or something like that, and you gotta load it
down with all your goodies, because, as you said, sadly

(31:29):
found out, you can't count on anything with vending machines anymore.
People don't use them, and you know, but the poor
guys can't afford to have them started in there, so
you gotta what is that b YO or something like that,
bring your own.

Speaker 7 (31:44):
Bring your own snacks DP The only reason I come here.

Speaker 5 (31:53):
Yeah, but I'm sorry you learned a lesson like that.
But hey, anyhow, happy Memorial daty you guys and all
the listeners out there, and we've got to remember what
this is all about.

Speaker 7 (32:03):
Absolutely, So you know, a week.

Speaker 5 (32:06):
Ind to salute our fallen heroes and people that serve
with honor, and a lot of that tradition has fallen
by the waystside. I mean, there's a lot of places
used to be every Memorial Day week and you have
big tremendous parades and massive turnouts and stuff. But I
don't even know this Columbus even having a well you know,
they're run by a bunch of communists. I doubt if

(32:27):
they even having any parides anymore or do anything to
actually honor our military heroes.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
I don't I know, I haven't been to one in
a super long time. I don't even hear about it. Maybe,
And sometimes I think that's I don't hear about stuff
because I you know, I keep to myself and I
don't whatever. But I don't know, I don't hear about
any of them.

Speaker 5 (32:49):
Yeah, well you've probably heard about all the fraud. Now
they're being exposed, you know, right here on Main Street
or Broad Street or whatever, you wherever the Somalia is
hang out. There's tons of fraud that's been going on
right under our nose. Of course, in Columbus, this has
been run for I don't know, twenty five thirty years
by all Democrats. It doesn't surprise anybody. But and then

(33:12):
of course they're exposing everything. They've actually got some criminals.
Is good news for everybody. They're on the run. You know,
these guys that have collected millions and millions of dollars
taxpayers dollars, you know, right there under the nose at Tampon.
Timmy one of the worst governors in the whole country.
Of course, he was the sweetheart with Harris and ran

(33:33):
Farrell presidente. And luckily for us, we still got a
country because they people were smart enough to get out
and go against them. But real quick, let me shift
gears and go to the sports because very sad, tragic
news this week. And I had the privileged and honor
of being able to meet him and actually interview him

(33:55):
after he won a NASCAR championship there in twenty nineteen.
I met him in twenty twenty, Kyle Busch. I mean,
what a tragic thing in the NASCAR and the racing
community because you know, he's still really in his prime,
and he's such a nice guy and such a great champion.

(34:15):
And I mean not just only a NASCAR but in
the truck series and you know, the other series. And
he just got done winning another race was last weekend,
I think it was, and for him to you know,
come down with the illness. But I think that the
bottom line will find out is that the guy was
just the type of guy that he just pushed himself
to the limit all the time. And to be a

(34:36):
great champion, that's what you have to do. But as
he found out, I think a lot of us will
find out some point in time that you just can't
take your health for granted. And if you get the
warning signs, you got to, you know, get the professionals
to check you out because I'm sure it could have
been prevented. And it's sad and it's tragic, especially this

(34:56):
time of year.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
Yeah, I don't know exactly what is the as his
passing was. They don't say it, and I don't. You know,
it's not my business if they don't say it. But
he was what forty two forty one?

Speaker 5 (35:09):
Well for forty forty one. But I mean, you know
these NASCAR guys, you know, of course, you know, we
got a lot of listeners out there. They hate sports,
you know, any kind of sport at all. But one
thing I can tell you about these racers and stuff, Uh,
they are built solid as a rock. You never see
guys out of shape. That's an Indy car driver, NASCAR driver,
any racers.

Speaker 1 (35:30):
I mean, I've never seen a fat NASCAR driver. Now
that that's a good name for a band. Fat NASCAR driver,
I've never seen one.

Speaker 6 (35:37):
You couldn't get in those loaded.

Speaker 5 (35:39):
The car because the number one that can't get in
and out of the car if they were fat at
that's number one. Have you ever seen the way those
cars are set up? I mean there's not a spare
engine in those seats that we've got a molded to
the drivers and getting in and out of the rigs.
But uh no, those guys are always built like a
solid rock. But the one thing about Kyle Busch'll let

(36:02):
everybody know that he loved the fans. When I was there,
the people were lined up, I don't know, five hundred
people standing in line. They'd stand in line for three hours,
four hours, five hours. When he got up there, he
took pictures with everybody. He autographed their helmets that they bought, pictures,
this and that, took time with everybody. Then when he

(36:23):
got done, he went backstage and met with a lot
of the handicapped people that you know, couldn't stand in
the lines and stuff, and met all of them and
the families and such a nice super guy. You never
see any Hollywood type people treat their fans with respect
in the way that a lot of these sports heroes do.
Soe he was a tremendous guy and he'll be very

(36:45):
sadly missed. But and poor Dick crying about the calves.
The calves bleut in the first game. They had a
twenty two point lead about eight minutes to go and
started choking, and you know, you can't pay in a
champ ship type series and not playing any defense the
last you know, eight ten minutes of the game and

(37:06):
lolly gag around and blah blah blah, and when they
blew all the momentum in right now, I mean, they
gotta win tonight. They got to actually win the next
two games to even have a shot, right and they
got a good team, but they're not playing no defense.

Speaker 1 (37:20):
No, you can't.

Speaker 5 (37:21):
New York guys drive right down the middle of the
lane and throw up you know, layups or you know,
dunk passes to the guys. I mean, that's the set.

Speaker 1 (37:29):
Here's the thing the game is. I don't it's not evolved.
They have changed the game to make the rules get
complicit for a higher offensive score for highlights stuff, but
that doesn't negate that you're not playing defense. You have
somebody like James Harden, he's a great offensive player, he
hadn't played defense. He don't do anything. People just drive literally,

(37:50):
Jalen Brunson just drives right by him and scores. It's
just automatic. So if the Cavs are just not outscoring
the other team and the other teams staying with them
or out they can't win because they don't play defense.

Speaker 5 (38:04):
Well yeah, you know, like we talked about before, I mean,
at any sports at the top level, if you don't
play defense, you know, and I talked about that the
high State buck guys. That's the reason why they always
end up blowing a game here or blown a game there.
Their lousy defensive backs and then not only can't they
guard nobody, they make all kinds of penalties and then
they can't tackle anybody to boots, so you know, what

(38:25):
the heck. But uh, you know, I talked to a
real knowledgeable guy, a doctor and you know, one of
the biggest Buckeye fans around, and he was filling me
in all the details and supposed to Ohio State's supposed
to have a top notch defensive secondary because he knows
that like like me. But you know, Ohigo State lost
a lot of their good linebackers and you know players.

(38:46):
But you know, the buck Eyes there, they're like all
the top teams that they reload instead of you know, regrouping.
And yeah, yeah, I'm sure they're gonna have a good,
good team. But hey, now here's something here.

Speaker 3 (38:56):
You know.

Speaker 5 (38:57):
You get this jughead that calls in and always wants
to app on me and this and that and I
don't know this, I don't know that. And then he
told me, don't talk about politics. How can the idiot
that doesn't know jack about politics and politicians? You know,
he bragged about how this massy character down in Kentucky
was all the best congressmen in the country. He's so

(39:19):
smart and wonderful and everybody loves him. And he got smacked.
And he got smacked by a guy, a former military guy,
Navy seal with all kinds of credentials, whereas MASSI doesn't
have jack except that he hates Jews.

Speaker 6 (39:35):
Oh but it's weird.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
We got forty seconds for the hard break. It is
weird to say everybody knows who Tommy Massey is across
the country, especially after this election. I would bet you
that fifty percent of the people and would they talk
about that race don't know his opponent's name.

Speaker 5 (39:53):
Yeah, you know. But the bottom line is this guy
was more worried about his farming and stuff and being
retired from the military and Navy seal with all kinds
of metals and this and that whatever, and he got
called everything under the sun. And now all the leftists
are coming out there defending Massy, and the Jews voted
them out.

Speaker 1 (40:12):
Dave, I love you. I don't mean to hang up
on you. We got to get to the heartbreak. I
appreciate it, brother. Talk to you next week six WTV
