Speaker 1 (00:02):
Six to WTVN. This is Saturday Morning Open Foes. I'm
Zachary Swartz. Good morning Columbus, Hello Ohio. The show's about
you and what you want to talk about. The number
to call in is always six food four eight two
one nine eight eight six six foot four eight two
one WTVN. I'll throw some things in there along the way.
If you agree or disagree, feel free to call in.

(00:25):
Have a great Saturday morning and a great Mother's Day
weekend at backs at West Virginia in the mid Ohio Valley,
and an early happy Mother's Day too well my mom,
which I don't know where i'd be without her, So
I love you. Happy Early Mother's Day to Ella and

(00:46):
all the moms out there, because you do the most
important job on the planet. So thanks, you are welcome.
I want to take a second before we go any further,
before we dive into the calls and stuff. I had it,
and I'm fine. It's nothing about me, just a reminder.

(01:06):
Had a bit of a health scare when I thought
something was wrong. There's no other way to put it
with uh a man parts to put it mildly, and
so I decided that instead of waiting to let it,
go to go get checked out, and luckily there is

(01:26):
nothing and everything's fine. But it just reminded me. And
I've seen it in real life, and I've seen it
with guys a lot who we kind of forget to
take care of ourselves, and we kind of ignore it
and kind of push things to the side or hope
that we uh are just okay and things will go through.

(01:49):
It passed by and we'll be all right. I have
gotten endoscopy is a coldoscopy since I was a little kid.
Super rare syndrome, No big deal. I just have to
get checks every year. And I have seen a lot
of men once they hit forty forty five and their
family doctor says, hey, you need to get checked out,

(02:11):
and they don't do it. And that's the worst thing
you can do if you're of a certain age, especially
for sub reason the coldoscopy embarrasses men to get it.
Once you're at a certain age, just go get it,
because number one, if he tells you to go, or
he or she, your family doctor tells you to go

(02:32):
get this procedure done. You go to a hospital, they
put saline in you, they roll you back to your room,
you fall asleep, and then you're out in forty minutes,
and if there's nothing wrong, then you have peace of mind.
If there is something wrong and you're not sick or anything,
the likelihood of you, you know, perishing because of something

(02:55):
they didn't cut as low. So you got to do
it when they tell you to do it. And I
think worst of all are a lot of men who
absolutely just don't want to do it because they're embarrassed
or they think it's a big deal and it's not,
and then they ignore their checks and then all of

(03:15):
a sudden they're sick and it's it's it's too late.
So I had a minor I don't know if it
was a health scare or health overworried on my part,
but I decided to be proactive about it. And I
just want all the guys that I can only speak
for men because I'm not a woman, but for all

(03:37):
the guys out there, if you are having some sort
of issue, or if the doctor says, hey, it's time
for your check up or your coldoscopy, just go get it.
It's not a big deal.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
The bill afterwards is the big deal.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Is well. I could go on a whole rant about
how this healthcare nice.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
If people could afford to go get themselves checked out.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah. I could go on a whole
ran about how that can determine from and anybody from
getting any medical procedure. But I just wanted to remind
everybody take care of yourself. You're a brother, a husband,
and a son, or on the women's side of things,
a mother, a wife, a sister, whatever, and just take
care of yourself and keep on top of that kind

(04:21):
of thing. Okay, Rager Dave line one, how are you
this morning?

Speaker 3 (04:27):
How you doing? Zach?

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Hanging in?

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Hey, Zach? When you mentioned that we should never be
ashamed of being checked out anything, I had a scare
like at about six years ago and found out thank
god it was only Hamroy.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
So yeah, yeah, I got.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Taken care of. But but we shouldn't be proud and
not afraid to do something like cat right and everything.
But it can shake you up for a little bit
and everything. But that part there, you brought that up,
that's something us guys shouldn't be afraid to do, you
know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Yeah, yeah, again, I think some guys are embarrassed just
because of what the procedure is. I always Uh, want
to try and do something funny like put googly eyes
on my on my butt so when they lift it up,
it looks like I'm smiling, but I haven't done it yet.
But yeah, just go get it and take care of yourself.
So it's a fifteen minute verse easier when it comes

(05:27):
to that one.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
And that one, they're well, I want to bring up
a few subjects I saw where the Pentagon and the UFOs.
Maybe we're going to find out if Darth Vader really
was the father of Loop.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Maybe well see, I don't know if they could DNA
test that, but we'll check. Well, hopefully we'll find it.
We'll get out the bottom.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
You know what it tickles with so much everything going
on in the world and a word about UFOs and
I think I would tell him, you know, Superman was
from Krypton.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
That's enough to know.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
And uh, but it gets comical about that back and
and well years ago, I guess David Boy made the
album Ziggy Starred Us. Maybe Ziggy is this, who knows, Maybe.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
That's where his inspiration came from.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Yeah, yeah, it is a good album. I want to
bring us up though we're talking about Iran again. Here's
the point of this. If Trump wants to really get
the job done. You've heard me say this for weeks,
let the Rangers and the Navy seals take care of

(06:38):
that uranium. We we I know, I trained for this,
We all trained for it. We could go in there
with our weapons, text, blow up the facilities, make sure,
and do it with less than five hundred guys in
a one big rate. And and why they don't want

(06:59):
to do that, I don't understand. What do you think
about that, Zach? If we just let them get accomplished,
if they got.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
The nuclear dust, as the President put it, and it
really needs to be taken care of, I don't see
any other way of doing it. I know nothing about
military strategy whatso I know you just can't vomb it
because they probably have it underground or whatnot. So I
don't see any other way of taking care of it.

(07:27):
But as as it goes right, I don't. And maybe
there's something in the works that we don't know about.
I'm gonna go ahead and guess the President knows more
about this than we do at the moment, and why
they have it or have done certain things.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
So, yeah, you know, Zach, but we did a raid
when they blocked the Panama Canal at time. We made
a raid that time, went in there, got the job
done within twenty four hours, knocked out a few guards,
got the canal open, and I'm kind of curious that'll happen.

(08:02):
But by the way, I got to tell you what
happened at that big wedding, And I told you about
my drummer always getting drunk.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
Did he get drunk again, Yes he did. He did
his playing get worse after all.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
While well we did okay first set, and so and
so we was looking for him and he came back
and so so one of my basse player gave him
two big cups of coffee. They had coffee there, and
then he passed out, so we had we had to

(08:39):
shake him up. We got him a goll and so
the ban was paying for the wedding, the father of
the bride, and that got up and he said, he said,
We said, you know, guys, I had a band years ago.
He said, I had the same problem. And we all
laughed together. But it I guess if you're a drummer,

(09:00):
we're just going to do this. And I've like we
talk about Keith Moon, we talk about Don Brewer of
Grand Funk Railroad Drummers Drummers. This here a different world.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
I guess it's it's part and part of of the
rock and roll world.

Speaker 5 (09:14):
Sometimes it is it is and everything.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
And then I want to go on this. Uh. Today
I'm going down to the there's a convention down there
in Cincinnati, so I'm gonna be going that way. I'm
going to see about It's a rock and roll record
collection convention. I'm very interested in this because I got
some rare rock records, some imports from Japan of different

(09:41):
bands like led Zeppelin, who and all them, and I'm
going to see if they got any value and see.
Sometimes that's the only way, you know, it's good one
of these conventions to find out. So that should be
pretty fine. I'm going to do that and everything. And
then I want to say this. I can't believe the
Cleveland Browns are going to build a dough. As long

(10:01):
as I remember, they played outdoors in the snow and
it used to be one of their elements. But it's
gonna take something way out of Cleveland Brown football. Tell
you that.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Yeah, I hear you, maybe the ambiyonce or whatnot. I
hear what you're saying they've always known as a tough
team because they always played outside. Dave, I'm way behind
on a break.

Speaker 6 (10:19):
Okay, Well, I appreciate you taught it.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Call it next week because I want to hear about
the record thing. I had much more to say about it.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
I definitely will back.

Speaker 7 (10:27):
You.

Speaker 8 (10:27):
Have a good day.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
They take care of me.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
You two thanks, brother, all right, six ANWTV and open phones.
Will be right back. I just saw that what popped
up on the news, and I don't know how this happened.
Frontier Airlines it Denver had to abort its takeoff flight
four three four five Airbus's. It was at Airbus. Those

(10:51):
are big planes departing Denver to Los Angeles. Carried two
hundred and twenty four people. The the played was partying
at quote. The aircraft reportedly struck a pedestrian on the
runway during takeoff. It said somebody was walking across the runway.
I used to work at the airport. I've been to

(11:13):
Denver's airport many times. I don't know how you get
out there. That's a severe loss of control of the
ins and outs of how you get into the on
the ramp, as we call it, I have no idea
how an individual, anybody could have got on that runway
and started walking across it. That's absolutely insane. The people

(11:36):
on board were okay, and there was a small fire
that they put out. I don't know what happened to
the guy. Frontier said, we're deeply saddened by this event.
They don't say if he made it or not. But
I don't know too many people that could get hit
by an airplane and just walk away un scathe. But
that is insane. I've never I don't know how you

(12:00):
get on the runway without being stopped. There's multiple entry
points or whatever, But anyway, that's insane. All right, Wendy
Line too, how are you.

Speaker 7 (12:12):
Hi?

Speaker 9 (12:13):
How are you doing?

Speaker 1 (12:14):
I'm doing okay.

Speaker 9 (12:16):
Yeah, this is a wonderful weekend. Yesterday was Military Spouse
Appreciation Day, and military spouses I know a lot of them.
I know a couple Agent Orange widows. That was yesterday,

(12:37):
and it would be really nice, even though it's today
late to remember the military spouses because sometimes they're home
with the children, sometimes they're aged, and there's something called
the Nash Pantry, and even military widows. They look after

(12:59):
the military widows and that is something that doesn't always
happen because some organizations don't, you know, pay attention to
the person left home taking care of the business while
the spouse is away. And I'm really grateful for the

(13:24):
MASH organization. They do more than emergency food and it's
something to consider. Also Mother's Day. Now, Mother's Day, there's flowers,
that's chocolate, there's all that. But just like the military spouses,

(13:44):
usually they would appreciate something that means something a little longer.
If you guys insist I'm buying flowers when they are
to be put in a vase, set them underwater so
that they last a little longer. But I don't know,
maybe they would appreciate you putting a homegrown tomato in

(14:06):
the backyard a little more, or maybe taking care of
a little bit of something that needed to be done.
So there's lots of loving things to do for your
military spouse or your mother. And there are women out
there that are mother ers, and there are men that

(14:26):
nurse to people too, and Father's Days coming up. It's
an honor and a privilege to be able to take
care of people in a godly way. Isaiah fifty eight,
Matthew twenty five. If you don't have any ideas on

(14:47):
what would be a good idea, there's Church of Jesus
Christ dot org. You can look up and see what
you might do. That's helpful. But the best way to
do all this is just plan and ask what would
that be? What would it be that I could do
for you that would make Mother's Day or Father's Day

(15:09):
or you know your neighbor or someone around you say
a little better. It's really stressful right now. People are afraid.
If you're prepared, who won't be fear afraid? Yeah, if
you're prepared, you shall not fear anyway. I would suggest

(15:35):
that people find faith over fear, because fear doesn't do anything.
It's have paralyzed. So Happy Mother's Day to the mothers,
the mother ers. I appreciate the military spouses. I appreciate
the mash pantry that tries to help people more than

(15:57):
just eating. Even though there's a lot of people out
there that I'm not getting paychecks and they didn't get
themselves in that situation. So keep your eyes up open
and look up and stead of down, and I appreciate
all you do.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Have a great weekend.

Speaker 9 (16:18):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Okay, may I have the next minute. Yes, it's Mother's
Day weekend.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
I didn't bring a tomato.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
That's all right, But it's gonna go on my rant
that I go on some years because I try to
avoid this every year. I try to just kind of
I'm not going to get heated this year, whatever, But
here we go. Mother's Day is Mother's Day. It's to
honor mom's your mom, the mom of your kids, your

(16:50):
friend who's a mom. I don't care. Mom who birthed
a child, adopted a child, a step mom, a foster mom,
all of that taking care of human kids day to
day in their home. I don't know why we can't
let moms have anything, to the point where we have
had to make it. It's if you have a dog,

(17:10):
if you have a cat, if you have a fish,
if you have a plant, you're a mom. And then
we've rolled in. Well, it's for women who all women
are mothering in some way. It's for moms. Dog Mom
Day is actually today. Pet Parent Day is the last
Saturday of April. International Women's Day is in March. March
is Women's Month. You want to celebrate women, you want

(17:33):
to celebrate that you own a plant or a dog.
There are other days to do that. One more thing
we take away from moms who are already doing ungodly
amounts of unseen, unappreciated, unpaid labor day in and day out.
They're always last. They never get to order the pizza
with the toppings they want on it. They sacrifice all day,
every day, never get told thank you you're doing a

(17:56):
great job, or very rarely, if at all, let them
have one that's about them. It's not about you. If
you're not mothering a child and you've never mothered a human. Now,
I will say, I feel very sorry people who want
to have kids and can't. My heart goes out to you.
I don't wish that on anybody. That's heartbreaking. I'm sure

(18:18):
Mother's Day is a hard day for you. Whatever you
want to do to get yourself through it, fine, But
there are people who talk year round about calling kids
crotch goblins and I would never have kids. I hate kids,
blah blah blah blah blah. And then they get all
bent out of shape because there's one day of a
year that's not all about them. Get over yourself, your
narcissistic little but this day is not about honoring you.

(18:39):
Stop centering yourself in everything and let moms have their day.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
I can't disagree with anything that you said. Actually, the
other day Blazer had this survey about what's the number
one thing out of women who had children that they
wanted for Mother's Day and.

Speaker 2 (18:59):
To be left alone?

Speaker 1 (19:00):
If the top answer was time alone. Yeah, and I
was like, that's somewhat of a sad state of affair.
And I add, because I made this mistake way early on.
They want to be left a lot, just for a
little bit. And that doesn't mean hey, you watch it
to what you want to watch together. It just gives
them time.

Speaker 2 (19:19):
And it doesn't mean okay, honey, you go out and
do what you want and when you come home the
house is going to be a complete wreck and they're
going to be asking you what's freaking it?

Speaker 1 (19:27):
Right? Yeah, No, I can't disagree. You pretty much nailed
it as outsider's perspective, which you know, I'm not a
woman or a mother.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
Like Veterans Day is not about me. I don't try
to make it about me. Well, I have said thank
you to people who serving the troops, so you should
honor me too. It's not every day is about you.
Not everything is for you, sit down and let other
people have their days. And we don't get this. On
Father's Day. People don't come out of the way. It's
for all men. It's for men who own a dog.

(19:58):
We only try to take it away from moms. Father's
Day is still about dads, but Mother's Day is another
has become another place where we guilt moms into giving
up any kind of attention or praise or appreciation.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
Wow, I'm a mom to two for babies, Alex and Bob.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
No, I will celebrate that on Father's Day. You can.
We can make Father's Day about everybody. Well, women are
dad's too.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
No, now it doesn't work like that.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
Yeah, And I know as a solo parent who my
kid doesn't have a father. So I'm doing both jobs.
I don't I don't try to make Father's Day about me.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
No, I don't know you super duper well, but I
can tell that you're not.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
That kind of Father's Day isn't mine. It's not for me.
Mother's Day is supposed to be. It's been taken away
made about every mother who's ever talked, or every mother.
Every Mother's it is about every mother. It's been made
about every woman. Who's ever talked to a child in
their life.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
Well, I can say from my perspective, I know I'm
not the only one that that. Like I said, you
guys have the hardest job in the world, and a
lot of us appreciate it. A lot of men are
kind of dumb because we don't think about, uh, be
it more respectful when it comes to what the mom
does and being more thankful about it. But hopefully as

(21:19):
time goes by that change.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
Well it shouldn't take time, change it now.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
I got you, I hear you.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
But I'm honestly for this look appreciate that this is
a rare moment. I'm not going off about men. I'm
going off about women who don't have kids, who want
this day to be about them and are all butt
hurt that they don't get honored on Mother's Day even
though they never wanted to be a mother and they
hate kids.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
I agree, And there's nothing better than the nuclear bomb
of butt hurt.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
Butt hurt. On that note, we gotta go to break.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
It's sixth n WTV and we'll be right back six
AWTV and open Foods number to call it as always
six foot four eight two one nine eight eight six
six one four eight two one WTVN, and we got
to go to our resident Marxist, Dave from pal Dave,

(22:11):
how are you?

Speaker 7 (22:12):
Well? That's nice. I get a different title and uh
every week. But uh, hey, I was going to give
you a little shout out that, you know, thanks for
the tip to all the guys out there, because you know,
you're right, we all gotta go get chucked out from
time to time and try to take care of our health.
We can stick around and agitate people as long as possible, right.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
That's our goal in life.

Speaker 7 (22:37):
Yeah, and uh, of course we do a pretty good
job of it. I heard you again on with Chuck Douglas,
uh the other day and stuff, and it's you guys
make a nice funny comic combo, so uh very much
appreciate all that. But now I'm going to bring up
a couple of things and Happy Mothers Day to hell
and all all the women out there. And I know
what she was getting out, and of course she probably

(22:59):
don't want to say it, but all this hatred towards
women comes from the left, because you know, unless you
have the right pronown or alphabet number behind you or whatever,
then I don't even know if they want to even
acknowledge women nowadays, it's a shame. And real quick on
the same note.

Speaker 2 (23:19):
Only on Mother's Day, Dave, Only on Mother's Day? Are
we all women?

Speaker 7 (23:24):
Yeah? Yeah, you're right. But Donald Trump, you know he
honored women. He had him at the White House. And
you know what they're called the gold star moms that's
lost their precious kids. And I don't need to probably
tell you all the stories, but do you know how
many of them have been taken away by illegals in

(23:46):
this country? By another lowsy lousy and I guess you
gotta call her a woman even though she never had
any kids. I mean her claim to fameous servicing Willie Brown,
the Santinantisco kid, you know out there in the West Coast.
But no, it's a crying shamed. The former borders are
let all these illegal criminals into the country, flood the place.

(24:09):
And how many American citizens have been raped, murdered, tortured, ABC,
you name it because they had an agenda to flood
this place. And tying in with what you're talking about, Zach,
all you have to do is speak a little Spanish lingo,
foreign language and stuff, and you get all your health

(24:30):
care free. You don't have to pay a time besides
getting a five thousand dollars credit card to go out
there shopping in Walmart or wherever you want to. I mean,
isn't that a crying shame the way the American citizens,
American females have been taken advantage of from the past
administration and even you know one before with the guy

(24:53):
who was a big dumbo ears that rained the joint thin.
I mean, isn't that a shame?

Speaker 1 (25:00):
You're talking about? President Obama is the best president that
you've ever had in your lifetime.

Speaker 7 (25:06):
Only if you live in La la la and or
something like that and you don't understand real facts.

Speaker 4 (25:11):
But hey, did you see now with all the wonderful
work the cash Patel and you know what Dan Bongino did,
all this new info is coming out about the total
corruption with law enforcement, with the DOJ. All these records
and files are being released, and how everything's been coordinated

(25:32):
since Trump came down the Golden Elevator like we all
talk about and stuff like as it's all coming out
that Trump's been exactly right, how he's been spied on,
how they turned the law agencies against them and tried
to do everything they could to shut him down and
to stop them and to ruin his first four years.
And of course luckily he's in there now he's turning

(25:54):
the country around. But hey, let me hit a couple
points because I know nobody will bring this up and
talk about it. But it's a little bit of a
shame that a guy that's a historic figure, Ted Turner,
he's passed away. And of course the papers are all
giving him all kinds of credit.

Speaker 7 (26:13):
And he deserves that. But he did make one mistake, well,
he made two mistakes. He turns the you know and
over into all the loons, and of course we've seen
how they did nothing but gone down the toilet since
he let control slip away from him. But his other
mistake was, you know, getting hooked up with Hanoy Jane,
and I know that drove him to you know, having

(26:33):
a few martinis or whatever with her, and you've seen
where she's went here in the past. But he really
was a tremendous figure and bigger than life. And now
do you see did that one fruitcake? And l I know,
I'm sorry because I'm gonna beat up on the women

(26:53):
AOC AOL or whatever initial she goes by. She's come
out and counting all the billionaires the data to earn
their money. Can you believe that?

Speaker 4 (27:04):
And Ted Turner's one of these guys?

Speaker 7 (27:06):
Is that ridiculous? Or what?

Speaker 1 (27:08):
I heard what she said? And Dave, we got to
go to break. I've been behind the entire show, and
I very much appreciate. As always, I think what she
was saying was, you can't become a billionaire through your
own labor. You need help, You need other people to

(27:30):
help you get to that.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
Because we also though it's funny how we dog on
certain billionaires millionaires, but like the celebrities, the people in
Hollywood that have way too much money. The Taylor Swift's
the freaking met Gala the other night, that's okay, we
don't they earned their money. You know, Sarah Paulson wearing
a dollar bill over her eyes at the met Gala,

(27:52):
like the one percent. That's what you are. You're the
Met Gala.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
You can't get into the met Gala unless you are
the one.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
Yeah, you don't get to act all. You have your
cake and eat it too, and have all your money
and then hate on rich people. Also, I don't want
my words to be twisted. So Dave said something like,
I guess we have to call her a woman even
though she's never had kids. People, women who've never had
kids are valid women. You don't have to have a
child or be a mother to be a woman. Let
me make that clear. I'm just saying Mother's Day is

(28:22):
not your day, that's all.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
Yeah, Okay, I don't think anybody's going to disagree with you.
I appreciate the clarity.

Speaker 7 (28:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
Anyway, sixth head WTV and I had to cough there, Todd,
Bob Dick will get to you when we get back
from the break. Thanks for hanging in there. FBI requested,
kinda requested. I'll get into it after in the next hour.
Something with the upcoming budget that I have a lot
of problems with the hant is it hantavirus, haunt to,

(28:57):
hant to, whatever it's called. We'll get it. I want
to talk about Cuba for a little bit, what the
president's been saying. But first, there's some people who have
been on hold for a while. I will take them
in the order that they've been on the longest, and
thank you for holding on. Todd. How are you this morning, sir?

Speaker 5 (29:15):
Morning, Zach, how are you doing good? Good, well, good, Hey,
that's been a good show this morning.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
Yeah, appreciate it.

Speaker 5 (29:24):
Yes, and happy Mother's Day, Mother's Day weekend to all
the mothers out there. You too, Ella, because I don't
want you mad at me.

Speaker 1 (29:34):
Thanks as bad. She's just making a point, so yeah.

Speaker 5 (29:37):
Well I know, but I don't want her to be
mad at me because well, you answered the phone this morning, Zach.
But she answers, She answers the phone most of the time,
and I don't want her mad at me. She's say,
you won't get on the show. But yeah, good, good
show this morning, Zach. Yeah, what you said about the

(29:57):
men getting checked out for those problems, that is right on,
because I got a buddy, a couple buddies who just
they refuse to do that. And I said, I worry
about them, you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (30:12):
Yeah, yeah, you just yeah, because you just don't know
and they can be completely fine, but you just don't know.
And that's the point. So it's one of those things
that are sneaky, especially certain things, and they could sneak
up on you and you don't know that you're sick
until it's way too late. And that's what we want
to avoid.

Speaker 5 (30:30):
Yeah, that's that's right. Well I'm I don't stay on
there too long because I know you've got a lot
of callers and running behind. Oh my, yeah, yeah, we're
hopefully oh yeah, I know you are. Hopefully the rain
will get on out of here and we're going down

(30:50):
to per usual my weekends off, we're going to a
car show. This one's down at Nelsonville at the Career
Center down there, the Walking Tech And hopefully the rain
will get out of here. And I mean I see
the sidewalks and my sidewalks in the road is a
little bit wet out there still, so probably have to

(31:14):
wipe down the car when I get there. But anyway,
that's what we're doing today, and that's awesome. Man. I
just wanted to say, a good show.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
I appreciate it. I think the rain is hanging around
for a little bit longer. But the weather folks who
know more about it than me, said by the midday,
which probably no niche at the worst it's gonna be
it's gonna be sunny out. It's gonna be seventy two
and sunny.

Speaker 5 (31:41):
So yeah, it's going to be nice. I'll be definitely
taking off my hoodie and just wearing a T shirt
at the at the car show this afternoon. That's for sure.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
Yeah, we'll record back next Saturday. I want to hear
about it.

Speaker 5 (31:56):
Okay. I'm on vacation next Saturday, so I'll well, don't take.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
Call in here, but if you want to feel.

Speaker 6 (32:04):
Free, have a great ky Okay, but.

Speaker 1 (32:07):
I appreciate it all right. Dick from Dayton, Dick, we
have a problem.

Speaker 6 (32:13):
Good morning, good more.

Speaker 1 (32:14):
We got a problem, Dick. What's the Calves are down
two to Detroit. They have to win tonight.

Speaker 6 (32:23):
Oh, Zack, it's just I don't know, you know, I
call Tuk up there, man a mistakes. Just there's such
a good team. I just oh, I'm just they come
all this way, Zach.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
You know, well they're still.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
They're only down oh two. It's it's not they but
tonight they have to win. They have to win.

Speaker 6 (32:43):
They got to win. Uh.

Speaker 7 (32:46):
And the Reds.

Speaker 6 (32:47):
I was talking to another one of my friends. They've
lost eight streets.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
I it's I have watched this team for thirty five years.
They start out high sometimes and hot, and they're kicking
and everybody goes this is the Red year and they
the bottom drops out.

Speaker 6 (33:05):
Yeah, yeah, it's just it's so bad. But see what
I wanted to tell you. That was nice. That was
a cute little statement. Mate. She's a good producer. I
bless her heart. That was really good, Jack.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
You know, yeah, she's good, she's great.

Speaker 7 (33:21):
Dick.

Speaker 6 (33:23):
Yeah, yeah, but yeah, we have to I'm worried to Zach.
I don't do you think they're gonna make it?

Speaker 1 (33:30):
I don't know. I think they could definitely win one.
If they can win one game, then what the momentum
can keep going? They play today at three Pistons are
really good, but the games aren't blowouts. They're pretty close,
so it's they're they're played for their life right now.
But this is uh. The NBA Finals are not the final, sorry,

(33:51):
the playoffs, so it's best of seven so they got time.

Speaker 6 (33:55):
Yeah, well listen, Zach, I talked to you. God bless
you guys.

Speaker 5 (33:59):
Thank you, thanks, Dick.

Speaker 1 (34:00):
Have a great weekend. I appreciate it as always.

Speaker 6 (34:03):
Okay, bye, bye, all right, what did I do?

Speaker 1 (34:08):
Okay, Bob blind five, Good morning, sir.

Speaker 8 (34:12):
Yeah, good morning, great show. You got to go in
the day as usual job, and so does the young
lady that always answers the phone basically on Saturdays. It's
good to be back and after all this stuff. Basically

(34:35):
basically the one better news I wanted to pass on
to you when I was in When I was in
the Navy, you know, which, of course, was Vietnam. I
was in from sixty five to sixty nine and was
quite possibly just about the happiest guy ever had to

(34:59):
go from active duty to inactive duty. I was also
happy get out, but many of that, uh, the one
thing we did want to put out there, Uh, definitely
pray about all all the males and the females in

(35:24):
our military, and especially uh this nonsense that we've been
seeing all year about gee. Uh, there seems to be
one party and a few bad other individuals who don't
like to pay everybody who works in the federal government,

(35:47):
particularly in the military, and those people should be voted
out of office.

Speaker 1 (35:56):
Bob, I hear you. I hate hanging up. I know
you're on for a while, but as I said before,
I'm a little bit behind on callers. I apologize. Call
it next week. The floor is yours. I very much
appreciate it. As always, This is Zach on six to
ten WTV and open phones and we'll be right back.
