Speaker 1 (00:00):
Open phodes on six' TEN.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
WTVN i Am Zachary swartz Again philly dead for boots
for about another. Hour the number is always to call
in six foot four eight two one nine eight eight
six six foot four eight two ONE. Wtvn AND i
want to quickly go over The James Comy instagram, post
which you have freedom of a speech of this, country

(00:24):
and everybody understands, that but there's certain lines in certain
things that you really can't, cross especially when people interpret
what you're saying or what you're posting that they may
think as an assassination or the calling for the assassination
of any setting. President if you don't know Who James comy,

(00:46):
was he was the FORMER fbi. DIRECTOR i think he
was fired By trump And trump's first. Term but On,
Instagram comy shared a picture of what he described as
a shell formation quote unquote on a beach that four
the numbers eighty six forty. Seven everybody really came down
hard on him and.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
He quickly deleted.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
It if you don't know what eighty six forty seven would,
mean eighty six is kinda if you're if you're in
a restaurant and they say eighty six the eggs that
means get rid of the. Eggs at forty seven obviously
Is Donald Trump's he's the forty seventh, president forty five
and forty. Seven so a lot of people were thinking
That Komy's instagram post was called for the assassination of

(01:34):
a setting. President now, again you could say what you
want in this. Country you have freedom of. Speech was
he been was it was he trying to make a.
Joke was he trying to get? Attention was he trying
to just be. PROVOCATIVE i don't, Know but he's a
FORMER fbi, director he knows. Better anybody who would have

(01:56):
put that on social media can most likely expect a
call from The Secret. Service and, again as somebody who's
a FORMER fbi, director he knows, Better so he knew
what he was. Doing the answer is why he did
what he. Did i'm not sure what he thought he

(02:19):
was going to get out of. This i'm not sure
why he decided to Put maybe he posted it and
people thought it would be, funny or they didn't think
it was going to be as. Serious but he knew
and he took it down rather, quickly and he's got
visited by The Secret. Service not a good, look regardless

(02:42):
of what your politics, are whether you're A republican Or,
democrat it's just just a little bit too. Much All,
Right we're gonna go to the phones real. Quick And
michael has been on the line the. Longest, michael how are?

Speaker 3 (02:57):
You good? Morning good. MORNING i just want to talk
about what someone else touched, on and that Is israel
and the war In gaza and the fact that there's
so much of our tax, money billions of dollars that
are being sent to not Only gaza But. Ukraine and

(03:19):
the caller was spot, on and it just seems like
most people have their head in the sand or they
don't want to say anything for fear of being called
an anti semi.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
You're talking about sending money overseas to, anywhere or Particularly.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Israel Particularly, israel because the people In gaza are being
slaughtered with an effort of. Genocide just, yesterday The chinese
were at The International Criminal court in The hague and
they were declaring That israel is committing genocide and they're

(03:55):
joining a chorus of countries around the world that are
demanding this be. Stopped and this is going to be
the end Of. Israel this is just the beginning of their,
end because what they have done is the most atrocious
crimes THAT i can think of in recent. History it

(04:15):
makes The holocaust look like child's.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Play, Okay, MICHAEL i appreciate your enthusiasm and, vigor but
there's certain things that we Can't i'm not going to
allow to go too. FAR i think there is a
distinction to be made that if you criticize The israeli,
government that doesn't automatically make you Anti. Semitic and there's
some people who are guilty of doing. That but we're

(04:42):
not going to go into The holocaust at seven in
the morning on open. PHONES i understand where you're coming.
FROM i most, likely IF i let you, go would
probably very much disagree with everything you're. Saying but The
israeli Power palestinian conflict goes, back you, know thousands and

(05:03):
thousands of, years AND i don't even think there's a
true answer to. That i'm not going to say a,
problem but years and years of. Conflict all, right don line,
two how are, you my?

Speaker 4 (05:16):
Friend i'm, Great thank. YOU i wanted to speak about
this contest that you mentioned, Earlier, yes, sir about becoming a. Citizenship,
okay in the first, place whoever is organizing that is
violating the. Constitution we have in our constitution an organization

(05:39):
CALLED Us citizenship And Immigration. Services in order to become a,
citizen they had to still out of a form in
four hundred and they have fees that add up to
seven or and twenty five dollars that is supposed to
be given To Homeland. Security so, therefore in the situation

(06:00):
we are, in we're paying two organizations for doing the
job that they're not. Doing because if all the people
that came over, illegally they did not go through this
uh situation where they have to speak to these people
and fill out a bunch of. Questions and there's a
lot of. Questions So i'm not going to read all,
those but people get to need to learn about what

(06:23):
our country, is and part of it is to become a.
Citizen you have you can go to the ORGANIZATION Us
citizenship And Immigration services and then put in in four
hundred and you'll find out what all they're supposed to
do before they can become a.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Citizen, well you.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Don't think that working on an assembly line for one,
day putting together a model t for constitutes being An american.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Citizen, no you can do.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
That you can do that in any country in the.
World why would that make you a? You, yeah you
have you have to. Form you, know people have to
fill out that form in four hundred and pay about
set heart twenty five fees before they can become a.
Citizen so the people that's sponsoring, that they're doing Their

(07:14):
violet and The constitution.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
HERE i hear, you. DOT i appreciate we're.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Up it gets that we got to go to a
break real, quick BUT i appreciate you call it.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
In this is open to fodes and we'll be right.
Back six' TEN.

Speaker 2 (07:25):

it was a HIT where i lived pretty hard thunderstorms.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
And lightning but it looks like it's going to.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
TURN out i just. Went outside it looks like it's
going to turn out to be a pretty. Nice day
the number to call it six four eight two one
nine eight eight six six four eight two one W.
Tv n we're talking about uh out landy should these
are my outlandish? Game show may or may not come

(08:01):
to fruition and a couple of. OTHER things i have
a sperm donor who has apparently one hundred and eighty
children who lost a custody battle for one. Of them
we're going to talk about the cell phone band coming
up here in. A minute And a kentucky mom who

(08:24):
her son got hold of her phone and he ordered,
some lollipops which doesn't seem like that big of, a
deal except for he spent about forty thousand dollars, in
lollipops so minor mistake on. His, Part anyway mark's been

(08:44):
on the line, The, longest.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Mark how are?

Speaker 5 (08:45):
We?

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Doing hello can you?

Speaker 5 (08:48):
Hear?

Speaker 1 (08:49):
ME yes i can?

Speaker 5 (08:49):
Hear?

Speaker 6 (08:50):
You, Fine, OKAY well i read a poem, Each, week.
Yes sir today's poem is dedicated to all parents who
are trying to teach their chillchildren the importance of. Deferred,
gratification also the poem refers to a famous Quotation By,
ernest hemingway who said that to be a, real man

(09:11):
a guy must plant, a tree fight, a bull write,
a book and have. A son the poem is one
minute and forty, seconds long and it's called a lack
of interest in.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
Compound.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
Interest, INTERESTING well i. Love her here, go ahead, my.

Speaker 5 (09:29):
Friend thank you for those who dare. TO dream i
say there is no fun that's greater than playful planning
with a compound. INTEREST calculator i told my teenage son,
for you the path to wealth. Is, clear historically stocks

(09:52):
grow in value ten percent. Per year if you invest
each month for fifty years at, ten percent you'll sit
atop a heap of CASH and i will. Be content
the seven dollars For the fufu smoothie you just drank

(10:13):
in fifty years could growth to be one thousand in.
The bank the money for your senior prom the limo
meal and tucks that is four hundred that could grow
to fifty thousand bucks and thirty grand for a new
car would be a. Huge mistake fifty years of growth

(10:35):
would bring, three million give. Or take, he said you're
such a, Fun. SPONGE dad i need to have. A
life the next thing that you'll tell ME is i
can't afford. A wife i told. MY son a, real
Man though i'm not one, to pester must plant a

(10:57):
tree and fight a bull and be a. Skilled investor,
the end.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
Good, Job.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Mark MARK can i ask you a couple, of questions?
Real quick sure when you write? These poems do you
pick out a certain topic and write or are you
writing and the topic just? Comes out how does this come?
To be or how did you come to start? Writing
pops has it been something you've done your?

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Whole life, oh well that's.

Speaker 5 (11:26):
TWO questions i started the. First, ONE first I know
i have a, top something, a topic AND then i
just write down thoughts AND points i want. To cover
and basically each stanza is a different THOUGHT and i,
put that try to put them in a logical order
and try to make it interesting with rhyme. And meter

(11:47):
and then as far AS how, i began back in
two thousand, AND five i started to date a woman
and she was a NINE and i was about a six,
point three AND so i needed it up, my game
AND SO i i would send her a little poem and,
SHE said i really like. That poem can you send
me one? Every day just a little four? Line poem

(12:09):
AND so, i DID and i sent her a poem
every day while we, were dating, and anyway and that
got me writing, romantic POEMS and i branched out to
other topics, as well political and all. Different topics, FAIR
enough I.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
Mean i have. A list i know you call it
with a poem Like. EVERY saturday i was.

Speaker 5 (12:24):
Just, curious, well yeah there, you go long answers to.
Short questions, BUT anyway i have a. Wonderful day yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
YOU too i.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Appreciate, IT man i have a, good one, All right
mark with. A poem he always does a. GOOD job
i think always does a. Good job so Anyway, To.
LEXINGTON kentucky i was perusing the news last night looking
for different things to maybe chat ABOUT as i Was
Watching TRUE crime tv because it's the best thing in,

(12:54):
the world, true crime especially this, show snapped which for.
SOME reason, i mean it's not funny because, people die
but it's kind of funny when during every single episode
the narrator eventually come on and.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
Go and, she snapped and, you know. Somebody, dies anyway Let's.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
TAKE kentucky a mother found herself in quite a predicament
when her, young son Whose, name liam was eight, years
old ordered thousands of Lollipops. Through Amazon now lafairs is
this woman's. Last name She's, in lexington and she allowed
her son to Go on amazon and put things in,

(13:36):
a cart but not actually. Order them she did this
over and over, and over and for, some reason he
ordered a bunch, of dumb, dumb suckers and she realized
it and tried to cancel, the order But the amazon
delivery driver had already put them on her porch. And
left and it wasn't, Forty thousand it was around, forty thousand,

(13:59):
stuff suckers and it would cost about four. Thousand dollars
the twist to this, whole STORY and i don't know
why she, said This and i'm not sure why she
brought this up would be an interviewed because it's kind
of a. Funny story amazon refunded her money because it
was just an eight year old who ordered Something on

(14:20):
amazon that He should lafair said that her son shouldn't
be held responsible because he is neurodivergent and born WITH
fetal alcoholm fetal.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
Alcohol syndrome not too sure why she would bring.

Speaker 7 (14:36):
THAT up i mean, he's, Eight, right yeah that's reason enough.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
You need to, go.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
ON right i, Don't know like the story itself is
like kind of, you know off kilter and kind of funny,
or whatever a. Throwaway story but when she brought.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
That up my. JAW dropped i, was, like well what's.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
The point in bringing that Up at anyone doesn't that
say something.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
ABOUT you, i mean unless. He's, Adopted right but, MY goodness.

Speaker 7 (15:01):
I read that story and the thing that stuck out
to me was so they refunded. Her money, they didn't she,
didn't return she didn't have to return all, the suckers
and now she's like, selling them which. Seems safe if
you got your, money refunded now, you're, PROFITING right i, don't, Know, man.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Yeah to recruit she offered to sell the dumb dums
for one hundred and thirty dollars. A.

Speaker 7 (15:26):
Box, yeah no then you don't get your. Money refunded is.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
She selling Them? ON amazon.

Speaker 5 (15:34):
I.

Speaker 7 (15:34):
Don't know donate them to your, local, bank?

Speaker 1 (15:37):
Right yeah?

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Through?

Speaker 2 (15:38):
THEM yeah, I mean i don't think somebody who would
say that about her son has a devious plan to
Rip off amazon for four thousand dollars and resell. The
suckers but, YOU know i never put anything past, anyone
ANYMORE and I just i. Can't, BELIEVE again i cannot

(15:58):
believe she said what she said and.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
The reasoning.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
He's, eight yeah eight year olds do eight year. OLD
things i would never allow. MY son, i mean, he's
ELEVEN and i don't think i'd allow him to Be
on amazon and just.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
Be, like yeah put things in the car and. It's,
fine no whatever you, feel like don't worry because he'll sid.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Me thinks sometimes, that's, like hey i'd, Like this i'd,
like This and, I'll, go okay we got to, work hard,
got homework you got chores.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
To do, you know you can.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
Earn whatever if it's kind of, SOMETHING big i don't, just,
go hey get On my. Amazon, account yeah buy yourself.

Speaker 7 (16:35):
Something nice, YEAH yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Im buy yourself, something nice exactly, all RIGHT SIX a
Wtv In. Open Foods I'm zachary schwartz Filloted for boots
the number six one four eight two one nine eight
eight six six one four eight TWO one wtv in
six TO, ten Wtv And zachary schwartz filloted for boots

(16:58):
for about another twenty seven minutes, or so listening to
the Doors with ella the number to call it six
foot four eight two one nine eight eight six six
foot four eight TWO, on Wtv and i'm going to
delved to the cell phone ban Uh for. Colubis SCHOOLS
and i have a son who some of his friends have,

(17:19):
cell phones some of.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
THEM don't i think he's old enough.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
For one, he's ELEVEN and i know at that age
it's a maturity thing and kids mature differently. Than others
but this bill that what that's aiming to ban cell
phones in classrooms has garnered a lot. Of controversy and
the bill seeks to enhance in, person relationships, improve grades
and reduce, cyber bullying which some lawmakers describe as a

(17:45):
common sense approach to unplugging. Our kids that's one side,
of IT and i kind of. Understand that but, some
Parents Like laverne fisher out of colub has said she's
experienced bullying and violence and urged lawmakers, to reconsider especially

(18:05):
if a child is just leaving or waiting for the
bus and she feels scared and she can contact. HER
parents i am of the mind that we shouldn't ban.
Cell phones they should be, kept in, you know. The
pocket if you mess up or you do, something wrong
or you have it out when, You, shouldn't okay take
it away for. THE day i understand all, of THAT

(18:29):
but i think that there is a potential lack of
communications during emergencies, or say if a child is sick
and they want to contact their mom or their Dad or,
god forbid the worst of the.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
Worst happening.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
You can't take kids cell phones and not allow them
to be in school. Sub teachers, i've heard and my
son's mom is a teacher that if you just watch
and take care of the of what you're doing and
make sure that the kids don't have the, phones out it'll.
Be okay and then that comes to a whole different

(19:08):
issue of each school district is different with different difficulties
and different issues when it comes to.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
CELL phones i have.

Speaker 7 (19:18):
To imagine that cell phone management in a classroom would
be so distracting for. A. Teacher though you're wasting so
much time right dealing with who's on, their phone? Who's
okay does anybody have it out during? A test, who's cheating?
Who's texting who give me? Your phone? Little billy like

(19:39):
that would be such a distraction and time waster for the,
teacher though and interrupt educating. The students and, you said
you know you can't take away the. Cell phones how
many generations of we all grew up. With it you
can take away the? Cell, phones, YEAH school I mean
i disagree with, you THERE no.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
I know and it's okay to, be WRONG but i
think think if you're a teacher could just tell me this.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Makes sense, if not maybe this is.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
Just, me hey you can have your phone in case of,
an emergency maybe turn, it off put it in.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
Your pocket.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
That's it if you're caught, with it we take it for,
the day strike.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
To whatever and then how.

Speaker 7 (20:17):
Many again how? Many generations how many decades did we
all go to school without? Cell phones and if there was.
An emergency, now granted, you KNOW obviously i hope we're
not talking about the very.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
Worst, cases, no, NO no I just i take that out.

Speaker 7 (20:33):
Of it but just normal day. To day, you Know
little jenny, Is sick you go to the, Nurse's office
the nurse calls mom. And dad like, you know there
are phones in. The building if there's an emergency and
a kid needs to get in touch with mom. And dad,
YOU know i used, to remember, OH crap i forgot
my Lunch and i'd have to ask to go to
the office and call mom and have mom drop the.

(20:53):
LUNCH off, i mean it's not like they're in the
middle of nowhere with no way to communicate but. SMOKE
signal i don't THINK they i think the problems and
the cons outweigh the pros of kids having.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
Cell, PHONES okay i understand.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
THAT point i do feel there might be a an
issue WITH. And, i again This is i've tried to
be very general here. On purpose different schools and different
places have. Different issues so if a kid is i
mean even, off school if he's walking home from school

(21:30):
and he leaves school and he's being bullied and there's
terrible things that can also walking.

Speaker 7 (21:35):
Home, FROM school, i, mean okay so you're thinking like
they're not allowed to bring it with them. At all
i'm thinking like they have it with them when they
walk to and from. School, whatever okay it goes in
a locker for. The, day now that's hard to manage to,
you know snuck it in in their. Backpack WHATEVER so
i get what, You're, saying, like yes that's the reason
my son finally got a phone when he, was twelve

(21:57):
because he was still taking a bus home and the
bus service was so, you know there would be Days
where i'm expecting him home at three thirty and it'd
be five o'clock and he's not.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
Home yet would the bush driver take the?

Speaker 7 (22:08):
Day off they just it's It was, columbus bussing and
you know they'd be running an hour late but not tell.
The parents and so THAT'S why i gave him a
phone because it, was like he's an hour and a
half LATE and i have no way of contacting him
and knowing where.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
He is all, poor kid how if you want to
be home at three thirty and your yeah.

Speaker 7 (22:29):
Or mom thinking he got, abducted though and have. No
way so, that's yeah. That's why that's when you want
your kid to. Be able you want to be able to.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
Reach, them, YEAH well i can see a compromise of
you could break it in and put it in your in.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
YOUR longer i. GET that i.

Speaker 7 (22:45):
Mean you have to then you need somebody basically like
watching each kid put it in.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
THEIR law i.

Speaker 7 (22:50):
Don't know or you collect the phones, every day and
that's a half you can't, you know collecting them and
then distributing them at the end of, the day that's
a whole. Other thing it just it's a it's toothpaste
we can't put back in. The tube cell phones are,
out there and it's it. Complicates THINGS but i see
no reason why they need to have them on them
during the day.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
During, Class, OKAY well I mean i completely.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Get, IT again i think these kind of conversations come,
down to well that there's a HYPOTHETICAL where i could think,
of this and then you can think of a hype
which does it doesn't really. DO anything, i just at the,
Very least i'm on the side that they could bring
them to school and maybe put them in. A locker but,
you're right the toothpaste is already out of the is

(23:36):
out of, the TUBE so i don't know exactly what's going.
To go but if it goes through and it gets
to governor, the wine he's going to.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
Sign it.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
The real problem is the kids are still going to
bring them, to. School yep so are they going To
be are they going to.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
Take the kid's? Cell? Phone for? How long is each
school going to deal?

Speaker 2 (23:56):
With, that DIFFERENTLY if, i pay, you know for a thousand,
dollars phone and you take my kid's phone and you can't,
have it the parent might get really.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
Ticked off so it's a whole new world FROM when
i was.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
In school we didn't have, cell phones and thank goodness
that we did not have any social media in, any
way shape.

Speaker 5 (24:20):
Or.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
FORM yep i am so relieved that that was not
a THING because i was never a, bad KID but
i did some.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
Really. CRINGEY things i was, gonna, SAY ye i was just.

Speaker 7 (24:32):
Embarrassing.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
Them yeah my style, was awesome don't get.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
Me wrong my hair. WAS great i was perfectly QUAFFED
when i went. To, SCHOOL no i dressed like this
EVEN when.

Speaker 7 (24:44):
I let's, JUST say i would have posted a lot
of song LYRICS when.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
I, was, yeah yeah. THAT was i Remember my space and.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
For, some reason a lot of the females WOULD who
i had on, my base would post. SONG lyrics I,
didn't yep we, Do, THAT okay i don't see guys doing,
that THOUGH like. I.

Speaker 7 (25:09):
Want yeah i'm trying to think of what the what
was the guy's? Cringey thing the girls were very.

Speaker 5 (25:13):
Song.

Speaker 2 (25:13):
Lyricy uh the cringey thing for guys was almost everything
that they, Put up.

Speaker 7 (25:22):
Like the the cringey thing for guys is the. Same
thing that's like if you go on dating apps looking. For,
men now the shirtless, mirror selfies the.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
Gym selfies Does that does that happen a lot?

Speaker 5 (25:35):
On?

Speaker 7 (25:35):
Them, Oh yeah oh everybody's got a shirtless mirror selfie
and a picture with. A.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
Fish oh because they're because they're fishing and the.

Speaker 7 (25:44):
BIG fish. I caught no woman cares how big of
a fish. You CAUGHT can i just tell you that?

Speaker 2 (25:49):
Right now that seems like a guy's idea of what
like a guy would want to see and not, going,
Like hey i'm trying. To impress they're trying to impress,
a woman but they're doing it from the.

Speaker 7 (26:00):
Completely Wrong, there's yeah, If anybody i'm. For hire if
you need help curating your online. Dating profile, all right
we're gonna get rid of all the, shirtless selfies all
the fish pictures of you in.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
YOUR truck i can be aside. BUSINESS fever i will.

Speaker 7 (26:17):
Curate your profile. FOR you i will write the bio.
FOR you i know what women want.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
To HEAR oh i want. To see oh you could
do wonders for some guy. Out there, uh huh, all
right SIX HEAD.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
Wtv ed we'll be right back.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
SIX Ted Wtv zachary Schwartz here philly did for boots
this morning again as always the number six one four
eight two one nine eight eight six six one four
eight TWO One Wtvn and pete's.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
Been on the line for. A, bit pete how, are you?

Speaker 6 (26:53):
My?

Speaker 8 (26:53):
Friend good thanks, for asking appreciate. The, show yeah you
know the whole cell phoned thing. WITH kids i can
see both of your, guys' POINTS and i WAS before i,
CALLED you i was leaning towards. Your position but then

(27:15):
do you have the issue, you know, let's, say like
do you have you, tell, kids hey, you know if
you get caught on, the phone we're going to send
you home or, you know do a, one strike, two
strike three strike kind. Of thing and but then are
you going to have kids who are going to then
try to take advantage of that, and, SAY hey i

(27:36):
don't feel like being in. School today i'll just, you know,
you know get caught. On purpose so, you know as,
as always it goes back to, the, Parents.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
Right that's A that i'll get into a parenting. Issue
there so it depends on if the kid will get
in trouble if you get sense of self owe using
a cell phone.

Speaker 8 (27:54):
Right right but, you KNOW unfortunately I can i can
probably see where some kids would would be okay with
doing that. At home, but anyway what what you Said
That governor dwine said that he is going to sign.
The bill have you heard of as to what what
his logic is behind signing?

Speaker 2 (28:14):
The bill it would it would just, you know it's
a distraction IN class i think is the way that
he thinks.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
About, it now he hasn't said he'll.

Speaker 2 (28:23):
Sign it it's it's he's shown support, for it so
that means in, political terms if it gets, to him he'll.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
Sign IT but i think it's just.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
Like it's a distraction in class and kids aren't focusing
as much as.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
THEY should.

Speaker 8 (28:38):
I see so what about the, reverse position where if
if kids don't have a, Cell, phone yeah in, the classroom,
you know obviously you're going to have some pretty upset
kids and and and you know kids are not, just
kids but people in general are so addicted to their.

Speaker 5 (28:58):
Cell.

Speaker 8 (28:58):
Phone, yeah uh, YOU know i can see where somebody
might say that these kids are going TO be.

Speaker 6 (29:06):
I.

Speaker 8 (29:06):
DON'T want i don't know if anxiety is probably not the,
right WORD but, i, MEAN yeah, I guess, i mean
these kids. Gotta be they gotta, you know if the,
real world if you can't have cell phones in your
job in the, real WORLD which i assume is the
case as is, my job, you know you can't can't
obviously bet using your cell phone while. You're working? Sure

(29:26):
should are we doing them a favor by getting them
ready ready for the real world by teaching them when.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
THEY'RE young i mean that's a decent POINT because i
think if you if you get too attached, to it you.
GET separation i think you're referring to separation anxiety a,
little bit or they feel like they can't live.

Speaker 1 (29:41):
Without IT and i mean this is a.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
WHOLE genera, i mean first generation who's growing up with
cell phones that. Are smartphones, you know not just you
can call somebody and leave, a voicemail, but actually, you
know get on the internet and talk to your friends
and all those fancy things that the new cell.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
Phones, Do.

Speaker 8 (30:00):
Right and if you think, about it a lot of
these kids they probably uh, you know they see what
other kids are doing and saying, and gossiping and they
do that throughout the course of the, school day so,
you know they they're so attached to those things, THAT
YEAH i i. Don't know it's it's like you, guys

(30:21):
said the toothpaste is out of. The toothpaste. Hold HER but,
i mean it's just it's. JUST crazy i don't know
what the. Solution is, uh uh it's it's it's really
something you got to wrap your. Brain AROUND and i.
Don't know, But, anyway yeah back to that woman who
who her son sold four thousand dollars worth of lollipops

(30:43):
and she blamed it on feed a. Alcohol, syndrome, yeah yeah, My,
gosh uh, you know could you have said possibly there's
a hundred other things that she could have said, besides
that because now she's she's gonna have a hard time
if she's uh, not employed if she ever has to get.
Another job that looks, very irresponsible right like, a Right like.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
Ella said the, kids eight that's that's good enough. For
reason you don't have to bring anything else up.

Speaker 7 (31:10):
About that imagine your mom throwing you under the bus,
like that.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
Watch.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
The mom actually she actually accidentally did it and just
blaming it on the kid throwing them under.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
The, bus horribly.

Speaker 8 (31:25):
She threw herself under the bushy would why would you
say that? About yourself now you look like a complete irresponsible,
PARENT mother, i mean. How stupid, well.

Speaker 2 (31:36):
AGAIN even, i said even if she adopted, the child
that's still the. Worst thing why would you say that under?
Any circumstances?

Speaker 8 (31:46):
RIGHT right, I mean i know people are incredibly some
people can be. Extremely defensive so, you, KNOW unfortunately i
can see where She was she could try to blame
it all on, the kid which of course is not.
The case but you guys are. EXACTLY right, i mean.
She's eight leave it, at that do not laugh. It off,
BUT no i mean she she. Made itself she made
it worse for herself with the whole fetal. Alcohol thing, so,

(32:09):
Anyway GREAT so i.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
Appreciate, It, thanks pete have a. Good, one man.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
APPRECIATE it i found something Out of florida and this sounds, like,

Speaker 1 (32:21):
Can't, Wait, YEAH well i mean.

Speaker 2 (32:24):

women and that's NOT what. I mean so, hang up, that's,
fine okay, Not, NO no I.

Speaker 7 (32:34):
