The one thing that gets me is is I listen
to a online and if you listen to some of
the silly calls that they send the police to when
they could actually be out there helping each other with
these crazy calls. That's getting them killed. You know, it's

They tell them, you know, you know, car one has
a shotgun, Car two has two people's two rifles. YadA,
YadA YadA. And then you hear the disc factors say, well,
we need you at Mount Carmel, we need you at
Doctors West, we need you here for guard duty. What

you know, I don't understand. You're pulling police officers off
the street that could be helping each other for hospital guards.
You know what, hospitals make so much money, go get
your own guards.

Yeah, that's that's a that's a valid point. Absolutely. I
don't Well they they you got turned the throw the
attorneys in there. If the hospitals higher force, like a
guy or girl with a gun and a taser. The
minute crackhead Johnny comes in there and he's totally misunderstood
and they do their job, then they got to write

There's no common sense whatsoever.

pants were falling down. He had his cell phone in
his right hand. He's holding his pants up in his
left hand because his pants are falling down. Now I
get I guess it's a cool thing, But my pants
fall down because I get a belly. I tighten up

this was cool. I don't get it that that describes
so much. I have two guys at my rod Shot
that walk around with their pants falling down. I scream
at him, and yeah, like what are you doing? You
look stupid?

Right, We just you know, there's ways to improve what's
going on. It's just, you know, we have a bunch
of lazy democrats run in this city that I don't
see it happening.

I died a buddy that said he was agnostics for years,
he wasn't, wasn't atheist, but he's agnostic. I believe or
the power. I said, look, why don't you just go ahead,
go with the flow. Because you say you don't believe
in the Bible, say you don't believe in what's doing
right from wrong, it sometimes will help you maybe if
doing right from wrong, just little things. You know, I

it's a good story, and it makes us protect animals.
It makes us better people. I don't know. It sounds
a little fictitious to me, but again I don't judge.

saved the animals and they're still here for us to
have dinner and have pets and live the life we live.

smoking weed, everyone's smoking weed. Now, you pull up to
a traffic light, the car in front of you, chances
are it's going to smell like thirty skunks in a trunk.

seventy one you get off Stringtown Road. Nowhere, I think
it's a snowco right there. There used to be like
a Perkins back in there. I think TJ's Country. Try
to get through that intersection with your with your civilized brain.
Whoever came up with all this, I'm like, what what?

What bong? Were you hitting? And then you sit. I
can drive from Westernville to Grove City in twenty minutes.
It takes me twenty minutes to get over to I
don't know, say.

as long. But no one says anything. But there's signs
saying you can't make a left turning, can't ready to nobody.

and they bottle it all up and won't let anyone
out of Tim Hortons or Wendy's or whatever all that is.

Then go over to two fifty six. If you really
want to torture yourself, get in your car after a
stringtown road and drive over to two fifty six at
three point thirty in the afternoon and try to get
off Interstate seventy. Try to make it down towards Pickerington.
It's a nightmare.

Oh yeah, no, Off of fifty one east to Bryce
Road to fifty six. Then drive up the Sawmill Road
on a Saturday afternoon, come northbound on Sawmill Road and
try to get through the intersections. It's beautiful, but the
official it's like nobody sits back and designs us but
build a giant shopping center and then tear it all

back down to expand the roads to get me even
more traffic jamps, and don't fix bottles.

never five thousand cars there.

restings throws some piece he passed away, but he was
a quadriplegic. He goes, you know, I like all this
handicapped parking, but he goes, there's none for me. And
all these fat people smoking cigarettes are get all handicapped
parking lots and I can't even get my wheelchair out
of my van. I'm like, well, well, welcome to the
world we're in.

hoping that there's a good weather first and foremost a

lot of people, but hopefully it's good weather so people
will turn out, hang out, enjoy the festivities and obviously

some volunteers come out for some volunteers the step step
up for us excuse me, and we're just trying to
kind of round it out and get those last ten
volunteers to get everything set.

I'm just calling to defend Ohio Health been my employer
for the last thirty years. And that last caller that
said talked about hiring police for the hospitals. I just
want to make everybody aware that we have our own
protective services department huge every single hospital there, A lot

of them are former law enforcements that have chose to
come to work for Ohio Health.

We have.

Drug sniffing dogs and our emergency departments, our officers.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
Our officers are all armed.

We have.

We don't use the City.

Of Columbus police officers.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
Now, let me tell you if you do see police
cars out there, sometimes when they bring in a criminal,
they have the jurisdiction over that patient and they get
to stand guard over that criminal's room. They take over
when they bring somebody in like that. But we do
not hire them to do security for us. We have

a very very extensive security. It's called our protective services.

And yeah, they are all armed.

Speaker 5 (13:34):
And like I said, you know, I can't speak to
the other healthcare system in Central Ohio. But I can
tell you that all eleven Ohio Health hospitals have their
own protective services.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
We have and they not only do they monitor the hospital, they.

Speaker 5 (13:52):
Monitor parking lots. They have cameras everywhere. I mean, they
do a great job of protecting all the patients and
families that come in, uh and in the surrounding areas.
But yeah, I just I just want to clarify that
because they do a great job of protecting the staff
and the patients and families, and I don't want people
to think that they're utilizing the Columbus Police Department because

they're not.

Yeah, oh no, that's okay. Ye I'm glad you call it,
because I don't know. I was like, okay, but yeah,
you do see. You know, I will tell you this.
I was on a fire department right along and this
skuy growing overdosed and it became a crime. I believe
that's why the police had to come to that one.
And maybe that's the point you think, maybe that's the

point he was making that it's a shame or wasting
police on that type of stuff. Maybe that's weird.

I don't know, right that becomes a city of Columbus
police department situation. And that's why that's the same thing.
If you see a cruiser that's following an ambulance, it's
because they're bringing somebody in that was a criminal or
a purp or whatever. They they they've got DIBs.

On that that person and they're gonna stay with that
person until that person's release from the hospital. Yeah we
didn't maybe yeah.

Not sticking up for him. But maybe he was just
you know, good blanketing a statement saying that we waste
our resources. And maybe he maybe recently he ran into officers,
a bunch of cruisers talking doing exactly what you're saying,
you know what I mean. So but he says, he
says he follows the scanner. So now you're saying that

because now you said that because a good friend of mine,
his wife was down at Riverside and man, they put
me through the ringer to get in there eleven o'clock
at night, and I was okay with it. I want
them to do that. I have no problem with rules
and regulations. You know, I don't like the airport security either,
but you know what, I also don't want to get
blown up in a plane. So exactly, you know, there's

just certain things. But now here's where I get Here's
where I get upset. And you've probably heard me say this,
those security guards if unfortunately, if a bad guy comes
in there and they have to use deadly force, you
guys are going to get sued and the bad guy
will be the hero. Per media, fake news and the

way the attorney's licked their chops on that, it's sad.
It should be like this guy, this guy came in
held a gun at us, and our guy shot and
killed him and get the get the bag and toe
tag out and put him in the mord. I have
no problem with that if you're that dumb, But they'll
make that officer a bad guy.

Yeah, And and you know, keep in mind that the
especially the emergency department staff, they get threatened all the
time by these thugs that they bring in these thugs,
and these thugs, you.

Know, threaten the staff that's trying to help them.

So no, you know, they do a fabulous job, and
they work in conjunction with the Columbus Police, but we
don't fire the police to.

because they're on the hood of the news truck beating

like the liberals up and well and what's best for
people of color when they've never even had a friend

Whatever those are the two hardest people to. Manage you
get a nice middle of the road, person, man they're a.

people waiting to. Die, okay because you can go To
jess serve AND i had a little time because WHAT
i normally DO i couldn't do because of. Maintenance SO
i went there and it's a real. Deal they went
to deliver stuff From Memorial day and they came back

devastated because they had this beautiful package with a little
flag cloth and books and snacks and, everything and there
was a veteran there that died and his family wasn't
there and they could not deliver the. Package and they

Work when you find an organization where everybody's doing everything they,
