Speaker 1 (00:02):
Welcome to Kracking this morning, a presentation of the Kraken
Audio Network Ken Sports Radio ninety three point three KJR FM.
Here's Mike Btton.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
We greet you a little earlier than usual because the
Kraken will be playing pretty early on Saturday, November twenty ninth.
Welcome to Cracking this morning, getting you set for the
Kraken and the Edmonton Oilers, second matchup of the season,
by the way, going down and the Crack and trying
to make it three in a row all time head
to head against the Oilers, something that's been pretty challenging
(00:33):
considering the stranglehold that Edmonton has had recently in this
head to head series. All the action coming your way
for a Saturday one pm faceoff at Climbing Pledge Arena,
airtime twelve thirty for your pregame show served up by
Frostprewed Corps, Light Shoes Chill, postgame taking away all the
way up to an hour after the final horn from
(00:55):
the Cores light landing in section twenty. We hope that
you can join us flagship Coverge take Note Sports Radio
nine point fifty k JR, and of course all across
as usual on the Global Credit Union Kraken Audio Network,
John Forsland joining us here in just a bit, we'll
talk about the states of the Kraken in just a bit,
(01:15):
the injury bug going around, comparable as well to the
rest of the league, and what kind of an oiler
team the Kraken could be facing coming up for this
matinee faceoff as Edmondton comes off another clucker a three
losing to Dallas. But again it is early in this season,
and we'll discuss more of those matters coming up here
(01:35):
with crack and TV play by play voice John FORESLND.
We flashed back to last game the Krack in facing
Dallas on Wednesday, with as much of a full lineup
as they had in the return of Jared mckinn, but
also facing a Dallas team that has proven to be
a pretty stiff challenge no matter what day, no matter
what seasons.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Club came out McCann fire just riding the thanks got
Brandon Montour a sharp angle shot from the right.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Corner goal line.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
It goes off of Casey the Smith and in the sea.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Level Crackett has tied the game at one ten fifty
four left the period number one.
Speaker 5 (02:19):
Well, it starts with a shot down the middle from
a defenseman pitching in.
Speaker 6 (02:22):
The puck goes from.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
The corner of Monteur is the guy that jumps on
that loose pucking rather than looking for the pass. He's
gonna shooter his mentality. Here's Tyler Sagan to the high spot, left.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
Side, back door, right on the goal. Joey the Cord
made the first, saying when they tap it in on
the rebound and Dallas they take a two to oneth Leandle.
Speaker 6 (02:40):
From their own zone. Here come the cracket through center right.
Vincedun's got speed done.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Left side sis stop.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Ben stand over the left side line, walks in tap
of the circle. He twisted arrest there and by Casey
the Smith, we're tied two two nineteen forty two. Left
here in the third Bitsta pick up pluck up in
the hash marks in front of joined the cord got
a full head of steam coming down that middle right
side of the neutral zone.
Speaker 4 (03:15):
Cut to his left is a left shot.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
He beafed the Smith over the club head two now
just saying it left side, drops it off or a
shot and they score Flatislav klia Chunnock from the left
wing pings it off the pipe and in by Joey
the Cord Crack it with some work to do down
three to two.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
So so close, but the Kraken come up short in
a three to two defeat to Dallas. Vladyslav Kolyia Chonok
had the game winning goal lates in period three, which
didn't hurt the Kraken, and they're standing too much in
the Western Conference. They're still entering today in a playoff spot,
but it's still pretty tight right now in the Western Conference.
They stand three points back in the first place Anaheim
(03:59):
Ducks and just one point clear of the Western Conference
cut line that shared between the Utah Mammoth and the
San Jose Sharks. The Crack and also again dealing with
another injury blow, this time is Jaden Schwartz. He left
the game on Wednesday in period two after visibly becoming
entangled with Vladislav Colia Shonak at the front of the
(04:21):
Dallas net. Schwartz ruled out lower body injury and the
Krack and then saying Friday he'll be expected to miss
the next six weeks, so the Crack can certainly right
now in an uphill battle to fill their scoring needs.
He departs for the time being as their leading point getter,
but of course leadership and fundamental play that he brings
certainly a big piece of the Kraken foundation that they
(04:43):
have to find a way to fill for the time
being while he is out of the lineup. Well, the
Krack and gathering again back at Kraken Community Ice Plugs
for a Friday practice after the team celebrated the Thanksgiving
holiday with food and family. One such case is Crack
defenseman Ryan lind Gren, originally from Minneapolis, and when you
(05:04):
talk about the Kraken and how they're handling the loss
of Jaden Schwartz, the potential return of Coppoccos soon to
the lineup, Thanksgiving rituals, and much more. Lynd Gren's got
plenty of knowledge on it, and we caught up with
him after practice on Friday ed Craken Community Ice Plex. Well,
first off, I hope that the off day treated you
and everybody else will walk me back through what Thanksgiving
(05:25):
Day is like for you and those around you.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
Yeah, it was a lot of fun. I had my
girlfriend's parents here and just really nice to spend the
day with them and you know, eat some good food,
have a day to kind of relax, watch football and
take a little break. So yeah, it was fun and
excited to get back at it tomorrow.
Speaker 7 (05:44):
What was the go to dish on the table for Thanksgiving?
Speaker 4 (05:47):
Yeah, Stuffing's kind of my my favorite. Yeah, my mom
used to make it growing up, and it's always something
that I've loved. I like turkey, but yeah, stuffing is
definitely my favorite.
Speaker 7 (05:58):
Take me through these first rough twenty five percent of
the season. There's often talk about when you face this team,
you're facing a team that's tight checking its discipline. But
what are you seeing so far from these guys that's
leading into how much they're buying into this identity?
Speaker 4 (06:11):
Yeah, it's been it's been good. I think exactly that
we're buying with the identity of what we want to be,
you know, laying stress from from the get go that
we want to be a hard defensive team to play against.
And you know, I think we've done a good job
of that. I think everyone's bought into, you know, that role,
and I think the next step for us is to
you know, get a little more offensive, you know, a
(06:33):
little more dangerous in the offensive zone. But the only
way we don't want to get away from, you know,
what's been making us successful these first twenty five games,
And yeah, we just got to keep building up of that.
Speaker 7 (06:44):
How do you recover from lostening to a guy like
Schwartze And what have you learned as far as how
the way this team plays and how it can sustain
his self here with injuries from time to time.
Speaker 4 (06:52):
Yeah, it's a horrible log sports. He's such an important
part of this team. You know, not only you know
what he does on the ice, and you know how
important he is he is out there. He's such a
great guy off the ice and you know, a leader
that everyone everyone looks to. And I'm so yeah, that's
a tough loss. And but yeah, we've dealt through the
(07:12):
injuries seems like this whole year and just kind of
had that that next next guy up mentality, And you know,
the guys that have come in the lineup have done
a really good job.
Speaker 7 (07:21):
How do you prepare for Edmonton versus any other team.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
Yeah, they're obviously some some big stars on their team
and a team that's very dynamic offensively. So you know,
we just got to do a good job of making
their their their night hard and you know, making sure
we manage the puck how.
Speaker 7 (07:38):
Do you also view the neutral zone and how they
play as an area of importance here for a game
like this.
Speaker 4 (07:45):
Yeah, I mean we we were just watching some video
on them before practice. You know, they like to circle
back and and gain speed, and you know they're a
team that wants to carry the puck through the neutral zone.
You know, instead of set of kind of chip it in,
they want to make plays. So you know, it takes
all of us to make sure we're slowing them down
and helping each other out.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
The first time we can say it this season, we've
got a Matt and a going here one PM, cracking
Edmonton oilers on the TV side. John Forestland of Courses
on the call, as always our esteem guest and our
friend as well, joining us here for cracking this morning, Johnny,
Happy Thanksgiving? How was your Thanksgiving? And what was on
the table?
Speaker 6 (08:24):
All? We had a variety of things. We're I'm not
a big turkey guy, Michael, so we had actually we
had we had beef.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
How's that sound, Oh you're speaking my language. Steak was
some of the menu.
Speaker 6 (08:38):
Yeah, I'm not going to conform the traditions and you
know what you're supposed to eat because I'm not sure
when we were all fought then we were part of
this world. We were told we had to eat turkey.
I guess I did that the majority of my life.
But now that I'm older, I'm going to make some
different decisions. We had a great Thanksgiving, my families here
(09:00):
and we had a great time.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Maddie Beniers told me a few days ago he and
his family the tradition is steak in lasagna. And then
on my side of this, on my side, see, I
don't mind turkey, but I've got picky eaters who are
ten and seven as far as ages and my kids.
My ten year old spoke up and wanted steak. I
(09:21):
like steak, My wife loves steak. My seven year old
will try it, so why not go a steak?
Speaker 4 (09:27):
Then?
Speaker 6 (09:28):
Well, that's again, just give it a shot and you'll
be pleasantly surprised and your life will be great. And
you know we're I'm with Maddie on this. We did
not have lasagnia. I think that'll be in and around Christmas.
But we did have some clam chowder, so that was
interesting in.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
That ghost favorite and uh West Coast staple here.
Speaker 6 (09:52):
Yeah, there you go.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Wyeawful, wonderful. Well, great to hear that it's going well
with family out there, and we're going to look forward
to this coming up here for the one pm game.
But I mean, I've asked this similarly with others and
through twenty three games, Johnny eleven six and six, twenty
eight points. So how would you have reacted two months
ago if told the Kraken are a playoff team after Thanksgiving?
Speaker 6 (10:15):
We'd be overjoyed with it. I mean, you're going from
you know, the depth of the league last year and
a team that struggled so much defensively it couldn't get
out of its own way, a team that still struggled
to score goals. That really hasn't gone away much. But
it's the way they're playing, it's a style they're employing.
It's how relentless there are and how committed they are
to what Lane Lambert tried to establish in the early
(10:36):
stages of training camp. To me, that's what's been so
exciting to watch. And when you just take the record
into account, if someone tells you that in August, July, September,
whenever it is, I mean, you're going to be You're
going to be overjoyed with the record. There's a long
way to go and it's tightly bunched, and we got
all the US Thanksgiving models out there that suggest that,
(10:56):
you know, seventy five percent at least of the time,
you're going to be a favorite team to get into
the playoffs if you're sitting in a playoff spot around
this time of the year. But it's too close league wide,
I think to draw any conclusions unless you're Colorado and
you might go eighty one and one.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Which I think they might still do. At this point.
They are in absolute They just might, Yes.
Speaker 6 (11:19):
They just might. Yeah, I think we're going back now.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
I think that the Darryl setterphrase about four years ago
when he was talking about a waste of eight days, Yeah, well.
Speaker 6 (11:27):
A here's that way right now. They appear to be
that much better than most of the teams. But again,
it's a totally different ball game as the season moves along.
I think you have to take into account the injuries
that we're seeing league wide. They're going to be part
of that too. They've had a couple already, they've survived it,
and that's basically what the teams have to do. In
my opinion, right now is survive because you know, the
(11:50):
crack had lost Jayden Schwartz. We got that news yesterday.
That's a tough pill to swallow. But if you look
around the league, it's every team. So you just have
to adopt the philosophy as a fan of pressing on
with what you have and hope that the team game
is responsible and in play and you're competitive and you
get strong goaltending, and then you're gonna have a chance.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
I love the fact that you brought the injury thing
up because I will get to this here in a bit,
but first things first, Individually, the door just keeps revolving here,
at least on the cracking side. Copple Coaco will see
if he is back in here for today. He's making progress,
but there's no Jaden Schwartz and now no Jaden Schwartz
for the next six weeks. So what's your instant reaction
(12:33):
here to the loss of number seventeen and how they
supplement that.
Speaker 6 (12:36):
It's disappointing, you know, it's it's like I said, it's
a tough pill for everyone to swallow, from the fans
to the management of the team, the coach and his teammates.
He's a vital part of the team, has been, has
been from day one here. He's a pros pro. He've
talked about his game. But when these players leave the lineup,
you almost have to be tough in your mind, said,
(13:00):
and you almost have to be crass to it and say, okay,
we got to move on. And that's kind of where
it is. And it was too bad that when Coco
finally came back from injury, he was injured again, a
different injury he had to go through. And now it
looks like he's going to be in the lineup this afternoon.
That's a good thing, you know, McCann has recently come back.
(13:23):
But this won't this won't stop. This will be the
situation all season, way too many games in a short
period of time. We all understand why they're doing it
as a league, you know, to get to the Olympics
and have that showcase. I for one, worried about this
before the season started. I'm worried now. I'm worried as
we move along and towards the Olympics and then post Olympics,
(13:46):
because once the circus is over in Italy, then we're
going to get back to a situation where who's left,
who can play? How well can they play? Can teams
resume where they're at? And if I'm at the ownership level,
where I'll never be, But if I were, then I'd
be looking at this holding my breath and very concerned
about why we're doing this and wondering if it is
(14:09):
going to be worth it in the long run. I
hope it is. I hope it's a tremendous success and
it grows the game even further. We've had analympic evolvement
in the past and it's been exciting to watch. I'm
not sure it moves the earth that much, but I
know the Stanley Cup playoffs do. And I just feel
bad if teams lose key components when it looks like
(14:33):
it might be their year and so, and I think
the style of play might to be it's a different subject,
but I think the games, the way they're being played
right now are showing that because you have mixed lineups,
you have a lot of call ups, you know, depending
on the team. It'll be the case again today for
both teams. And so I'm not sure the quality of
play is that great. I don't think it is, in
(14:53):
my opinion.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
We talked with head coach Lane Lambert after practice on
Friday and ask him about the system and how how
much it sustains this team with the revolving door as
we set of injuries, and here's Lane Lambert with that reaction.
Speaker 8 (15:06):
Well, I think, like I said right from the very beginning,
there's a way to win every hockey game, and your
structure and your system is your safety blanket. And you
know you as long as everybody understands is on the
same page and pulling the rope in the same direction,
you have a chance to win every night. So I
think it's benefited us a great deal, especially with the
(15:28):
injuries we've gone through this year.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
So Johnny, you talked about how you kind of feared
this maybe all the way back into the summer seeing
this coming as far as the uptick and injuries across
the league. Advantage Cracking with the way they play how
much here with this schedule coming.
Speaker 6 (15:43):
Up, Yeah, it's perfect for the Cracking. See, the Cracking
are the perfect team that have to be fixed defensively,
which they have been. They have been open as a
group to buy into his system, which is important than
they are. You have to be totally committed to play
art style every game. It's not easy to do. At times,
(16:04):
it's hard to watch, but it is the right way
to play. And again, with a little bit more talent
on the roster, you know skilled talent, you know those
that would really bode well for the style that they're playing.
You have to know your personnel. They don't exactly have
game breaking, high end offensive players, but they have very
good players who can play as a team and be
(16:27):
hard to play against. And that's what we saw in
the Dallas game. And you know that Dallas team is
a great team. Yes, they played the night before, but
it was push and shoved back and forth. It also
allows the goaltending, which has been great this season, no
matter who's been in there. It allows the goalies to
flourish under a system that they can read. They're not guessing,
(16:47):
they're not overplaying bucks, they're not spitting out rebounds in
areas where there's lack of coverage. By and large, the
system in front of the three goalies has allowed all
three of them to play at the top of their game.
And that's the first thing and first component you want
in any era of any kind of professional hockey is
solid goaltending. And so they have that you work from
(17:10):
the goal out. You know, the game on Long Island
last weekend, they lose in the past, maybe by a
wide margin in my opinion. Sure it's a goalless hockey game,
and you know, the scoring chances we're few and far
between and all of that. But you know what they
got in late that night. They grinded their way through it.
(17:30):
And that's what we talked about during the summer, the
zero to twelve back to backers night, Right, Why did
it happen? Well, most of the time, it has nothing
to do with travel and fatigue. It has everything to
do with systematic player lack thereof. And if you don't
have a sound system, you know you're going to look
disorganized on the ice. The crack and game in and
game out, win, lose, whatever the situation is. They look organized.
(17:53):
So if they just stay with it, and they have
the perfect group to do that, they should be able
to navigate through a tough schedule and get through a
tough set of injuries because it's basically plug and play
and the next player comes in and assumes a role,
maybe not as good, close enough, and it's just about
being in the neighborhood of a game to win it
(18:13):
and buy and large every game this season, that's been
the case.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
Team say percentage coming out of Thanksgiving, the Krack and
are number one in the NHL at five on five,
nine to three four. You can think Joey to coord
Philip Grubauer, Matt Murray, even goaltending coach Colin Zulianello as well.
Here for that. Jared mccannon getting back in for his
first game. It was a while about a month after
his injury. Johnny, what'd you see out of him? And
(18:38):
how much can we take from that game as far
as what he can do to make a difference now.
Speaker 6 (18:42):
Well, I think he'll take a step every game. I
thought he was rusty. It was nice. It was nice
to see him out there. Was awful to see him
go down and have an apparent injury right away. Eclipped
with a high stick from Alex Petrovich. That was hard
to watch, but you got to give him some time.
Hopefully today it's even better and moving forward it's even
(19:02):
better than that. But he's a he's a key piece. Obviously,
He's one of these players that can score on his own.
You know, he has the type of shot that can
beat an NHL goalie from distance, the type of shot
that can beat a goalie in type because of the
placement of his shot, Versatile enough to play the middle
if they need him to. So you know, again, it's
(19:24):
it's it's a lose one gain one type situation. Here.
You lose Schwartz, which is which is tough. But hopefully
with each game Jared will get better and better, back
to his old self, stay injury free, and then that'll
be that'll be an important piece because they just they
need every single bit of it. But he is at
(19:45):
least close to what we're talking about at the top
of this interview. You know, I wouldn't consider him in
the upper echelon of elite talent in the NHL, but
he's close enough that he can be a game breaker
for this team. And and that's the case. And I
think in that sense a little bit more of a
game breaker than say Schwartz is. Schwartz is more of
a meat and potatoes outstanding, you know, pro He has
(20:09):
the willingness to go to front of event, maybe more
than McCann, but McCann has that shot and has the
ability to snipe when you need it and when you
need a goal even come through. And he's also a
very good piece to have in three on three overtime,
which it seems like the crack and play at least
twice a week.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Oh and then also for the fact that he told
me that he felt like he swallowed his tooth after
he got hit in the mouth of the high stick
and then he had to basically play on with that thing.
And then there's also a dentist trip involved in between. Yeah,
winning a certainly tough job, but the fun at the
very end of the rope here is certainly well worth
here from that Edmonton ten ten and five Johnny, and
(20:47):
we've heard a lot about, of course, what's happening behind
the scenes, what's happening with goaltending. The Dallas loss led
Connor McDavid to basically say, I don't have answers right now.
What have you come to expect out of edmund with
where they are at this point of the season.
Speaker 6 (21:01):
Well, I think it's just about every November they're in
this spot and then when you get to June they're
in the other spot. Right So I don't think they
have the same roster they had last year of the
previous season. I think in terms of their death it's
not as good this time around. They have two been
hit by significant injuries. They thought they were getting closer.
(21:23):
They're going to get you know, they're going to get
Ryan NuGen Hopkins back today, which will help them down
the middle. He's been out for a few weeks. They
thought they were going to get CAAs Barry Kappanan back
in this afternoon. That's not going to be the case.
He was injured in practice the other day. You know.
And these players are important because they play a role
down their forward group, and they're upper end of the
(21:44):
forward group. With just the two players alone and McDavid
and Drysydle is way better than everybody else. And then
when you add a healthy Zach Hyman, it's way better
than we've seen before. On the back end, I think
it's the same. I mean, there's no Jake Walman, he's injured,
but it's still the same type of group that's that's
pretty good, can be average and can also be guilty
(22:08):
of bad turnovers and lackluster play. And you know, in
a situation where they don't help a bewildered goaltending situation,
it looks like it'll be Stuart Skinner today, and if
it is, you know he's in the same boat he's
always been in. I can tell you this because I'm
around them a little bit with the Amazon package. They
love that guy. The players do. They support him, They
(22:32):
want to win for him. He's a good goalie. He's
not a great goalie. He's a good goalie. He's not
the problem. The problem is their their lack of togetherness
as a team, their willingness to dig in harder for
their coach. They seem to be in between right now,
which I think goes away today. I think that obviously,
(22:52):
coming off of the disaster they had in the previous game,
they're going to be very good and the crack and
again will have to be as they were against Dallas,
ready for and measure their game against a team that
still has to be considered a favorite to be in
the top three in the Pacific Division. I think everybody
would consider Edmonton still there because the McDavid dry Sidle
factor is too much at times, and you know those
(23:16):
two bodies you can outscore your issues. And so is
it going to be good enough this season? I don't know,
because they're kind of flirting with it every year. It
was good enough the last couple to get them to
the Stanley Cup final, But again, how often can you
push that button?
Speaker 2 (23:32):
They're trying to push it once again. We'll see if
it's gonna work out for them, but you're absolutely right,
it's going to be a tough test. They're coming in
here for the second matchup of the season. Appreciate this, Johnny. Hey,
Thanksgiving tells us to enjoy whatever you want. There to
be different. So you and me were asked, where's the beef, Well,
it's on the table.
Speaker 6 (23:51):
I go back to the beach on the table. Yeah,
that's right, the beast on the beach on the table.
I hope all the fans had a great holiday and
are thankful for where the team's at right now, because
it's competitive and it's right there, and I don't think
it's going to change the rest of the season, and
this team should go right down to the wire and
(24:12):
push for a playoffs spot, and that's what we're all
hoping for.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
My sentiments to the fans, also my sentiments to you,
my friend, Johnny, appreciate this. Have a good call.
Speaker 6 (24:19):
Thank you, Okay, Mike, you take.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
Care, Thank you you too. Always powerful words of wisdom
from our friend John Forestland TV played by play voice
on the Crack at Hockey Network also on Amazon Prime
for the national side. Well again, the Crack end looking
to get a win here and match up number two
of the regular season against Edmonton, and if they can
pull that off, it would give them three consecutive wins
(24:43):
all time over the Oilers for the first time in
franchise history. The Crack and beat Edmonton first game of
the series three to two at Climbing Pledge Arena back
on October twenty fifth. There's a milestone watch, by the way,
on the crack in side Vince Dunn entering the Mattinee
one point shy of three hundred for his NHL career.
(25:04):
By the way, he is also three back from joining
Jared McCann as members of the two hundred point club.
As far as games played all time in a Crack
in Jersey, you can certainly belt the Crack and are
preparing to face the very angry Edmonton team after they
lost their last game a three to Dallas back on Tuesday.
And all you need to know the response here from
(25:26):
Connor McDavid after the game.
Speaker 9 (25:28):
I don't have many answers for you tonight. Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 4 (25:33):
I don't know.
Speaker 9 (25:34):
I don't have any answers.
Speaker 5 (25:35):
As I said, so a big picture defensively is something
you guys have been struggling with this year more than
the previous years. And how concerning is it that the
D side of the game is as far off as
it is right now?
Speaker 9 (25:47):
I think it stems from the whole thing. You know,
we're not good enough with the puck, and you know
it's leading to sustained you know, time in our D zone. Yeah,
it's the whole thing. You know, we're not getting up
(26:08):
the A's four checking pucks back, and we're playing too
much in the D zone. You know, there's not many
D zone systems that hold up after you know, thirty
four a minute in your D zone. You know, it's
tough to defend.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
No surprise, he's one of the guys the Cracking will
be on hi alert watch for. Offensively, He's had a
point in eleven of his fourteen career games against the
Crack in eight goals by the way in total, but
drew heavy attention from Maddy Benier's in the previous matchup.
David held to no goals, no shots and two of
twelve as well at the faceoff circle. Leon dry Saddle,
(26:46):
of course, is long time running mate, as recorded a
point in six consecutive games against the Kraken, including five
multipoint efforts as well. Ryan Nugent Hopkins, who Johnny mentioned
as well back into the lineup. He's at a point
of his last ten games against the Krack and so
in conclusion, plenty of weapons the Kraken have to be
prepared for defensively here in this game, so the Crack
(27:10):
and trying to keep the oilers at bay. Hope you
can join us here for all the action across a
busy sports day in Seattle, by the way, and hope
that you can certainly join us for all the action.
