Here's what you.

Speaker 3 (00:03):
Missed on Sunday Mornings.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
To Feel Good Friday on Sunday Window six point five
with Joanna and Sean. We do this every week after
six and eight. You got some good news, you share
it with us. Seven oh two seven nine six one
oh six five. Joanna, why don't we start with you?
What's got you smiling today?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Well, last week I told you how my son Brock
is starting to like talk so much more and say word.
It's just really cool. But this has got me feeling
good today. So later on today we're gonna take him
to go get a haircut, Like no big deal, but
you know, it's something that he actually really likes. And
it was cute because his hair was kind of getting
long and he like looked at his dad and I

(00:39):
this week and he was like haircut and were like,
oh my god. We just so keep wanting to hear
him say that. But to you, I have a kid
that enjoys haircuts, and that's got me feeling good on
this Friday.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
And that's that's a win, right there. A lot of
people struggle with those, right exactly.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Yeah, So that's got me feeling good.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
It's gonna, you know, really set the tone for the weekend. Perfect. Perfect.
Let's go to Mikayla in Summerland. MICHAELA, what's going on?
What's got you feeling good today?

Speaker 3 (01:05):
My husband brought home.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
He brought me flowers yesterday after work when he came
home from work.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
And it totally made my whole week.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
I feel great, house smells lovely.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
Yeah, like just because flowers like, no rhyme or reason
to it, I hope, just because otherwise you may have
done something wrong.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
It's those guilty flowers that will get you, I think,
just because now I'm worried.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
No, no, just because flowers are the best. No anniversary,
no birthday, Like just thinking about you.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
That's awesome.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Thanks, Mikayla, have a wonderful weekend you too, Fellas.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
I don't know about you, but I would have taken
some notes right there and maybe pick up some flowers
on the way home. Here, we do have a sunny
story of the day to get to next. What's going on?

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Yeah, well, we're going to tell you why blue became
the color of autism acceptance and how you can take
part all month long right here in our community. That's
coming up in today's Sunny Story of the Day.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Stick around, good vines, good people, and good news. Time
for your Sunny Story of the Day. It is a
feel good Friday edition of our good local News. What's Happening.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
So, if you drove by the Las Vegas sign this week,
you probably were like, wait, does this sign look a
little different? And you're right. So the welcome to Fabulous
Las Vegas sign is glowing blue, which is really cool
because it's shining bright for Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month. Now,
the powerful pop of blue has a really big message
behind it that we wanted to talk about this morning.
It's just a reminder of understanding, inclusion and celebrating incredible

(02:37):
people in our community who have autism.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Well, I think we see the stats a lot, and
I think it affects one in thirty one people, right, Yes.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Yeah, the stats are growing every year. But this week,
you know, people got together at the Las Vegas sign,
including our friends from Granted Gift Autism Foundation, who does
incredible work here in our community. They got together to
celebrate that message of inclusion and acceptance in our community.
So April the perfect month to do just that because

(03:04):
it's Autism Acceptance and Awareness Awareness Month. And you know,
it's just a great reminder when you drive by that
sign or you see people who are wearing blue pins
or whatnot, that there are people who battle things that
we may not know about, but it's good to just
make them feel included and accepted.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
And what a great use of one of the most
recognizable signs on the planet.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Right, absolutely, so, if you want to read more right
now about the events going on in regards to April
being Autism Awareness and Acceptance Months, we're going to put
up those details at Sunday When I was six five
dot com, just click on Sunday Mornings Sunday Mono six
point five.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Joanna and Sean on Sunday Window six point five. So, Joanna,
I found an old laptop in my office yesterday when
I was kind of like cleaning things.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Aro out ooh it's you fine.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Well it had AOL instant Messengers still installed on it.
Can you believe that AOL?

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Oh my gosh, you sound like my dad. My dad
still probably uses AOL.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
I think, well unlocked. You know this old memory of mine,
of course, I think we all have. It was by
screen name right for AOL. Sure, And remember how I
mean your screen's name said everything about that, right, like
we put we agonized over what our screen name was
going to be, right.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Oh my gosh. And then we would like, I don't
know about you, like I had multiple, like I wanted multiple.
They evolved personality as you evolved, right, yeah, oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
It was really our whole identity. Now before I ask
you yours mine was? It was Shoeboy one nine zero shoeboy.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Yes, okay, well with the story behind that.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
I just had a lot like shoes nothing too crazy, okay.
And then my birthday was January ninth whatever. I had
to get zero because someone had shoe Boy nineteen for
some reason. But anyway, interesting it was yours. What was yours?

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Okay? Well, when I was in high school, like I
was obsessed with like going to Arizona State University and
like moving out west, and it was ASU Palm Queen one.
And I was on the pom dance team in high school.
And yeah, there you go, a s U pom queen.
It was so iconic. I had it for forever, even

(05:09):
when I went to college and didn't go to a
s U, like I still like rocked that AOL AOL name.
I couldn't get rid of it.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
You were trying to manifest, right, kind of manifest Listen?

Speaker 3 (05:18):
I ended up, as you know, a state over.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
So there we go, Sydney, Sydney's on the line. Do
you remember your screen name?

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (05:24):
I do?

Speaker 2 (05:26):
It was XX Broadway Girl and YC xx like every
other letter.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Was uppercase of course. Of course I had to do
that right, and the multiplex way cooler that way, Chelsea.
What about you? Do you remember your screen name?

Speaker 3 (05:43):
I do? It was Sassy Sissy one two three Sassy Sissy?
What two three? Oh, that's an easy one to remember forever?

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Oh my god, Aaron, we'll close with you, buddy. What
was your screen name? Do you remember it?

Speaker 3 (05:59):
Ga X eighty three? But skater with an eight?

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Of of course, make sure.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
And I think a lot of people threw those exes
to be a little risque, right right, And yeah, consinuate
something else.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Maybe maybe maybe the eight for skater boy, for all
the the average, the all the Avril fans out there, love.
What was your AOL's screen name? Seven oh two seven
nine six one oh six five?

Speaker 3 (06:24):
Don't forget a major Sunday window six point five announcement
coming up at seven forty this morning, six points happy Field,
Good Friday. Easter is on Sunday, And if you feel
like you need to go out today and scramble to
you know, bring you know, that dish or that gift

(06:44):
or that item to your Easter event, I found something
for you. Okay, So the Internet has actually made this
go pretty viral and they're really split on this. So
it's a super sized chocolate bunny that's being sold at
Costco right now. And when I am saying super size,
I'm talking a ten pound chocolate bunny, ten pounds that

(07:06):
will have one a total of one hundred and fifty
one servings of chocolate, which equals twenty two thousand, six
hundred and fifty calories in total. With this bunny. It's
dubbed beat the Bunny on the box, by the way,
And even though the calories are high, I feel like
the price tag feels even higher. It sells for one
hundred and forty.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Oh never mind, Okay. I was going to say, this
is the exact kind of thing I would bring to
a party as a gag gift, not that I would
want to deal with myself. Because storage feels like a nightmare,
and what do I do with all that chocolate? I
would drop that off at someone else's house, for sure,
but at one hundred and forty dollars, I'm not so short.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
I know it's a really expensive gag gift. But you know,
if you've got if you've got the money and you
want to, you know, be the talk of the Easter
egg parties this weekend, maybe that's the gift for you.
But I was just wow. I was shocked at the
calorie count and the price tag on that thing.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
I think I could probably find ten one pound the
chocolate bunnies at a more reasonable in that and probably
better off that you got people trying to carry these
things instead of the bunny himself, because it's going to
slow down his journey, which you can track. I just saw, Yeah,
you've part of the Santa tracker. During the course dr
Christmas time, there is an Easter Bunny tracker that allows

(08:17):
kids to track the Easter Bunny's journey as he travels
around the world delivering goodies. I love this, and it's
literally just track Easter Bunny dot com. You can do
it over there.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
So I said, everybody, you know wants to know when
those eggs are going to be put out. So, I mean,
this is something really fun for the kids.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
I love this and I want to know who's bringing
a ten pound chocolate bunny to my house.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Yeah, you're You're invited to my house. Whoever you are,
You're invited.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Coming up in a little bit seven forty we have
a big Sunday morning. Yeah, a big sunny one of
six point five announcement for you. Plus next our Sunny
Story the day. What's going on?

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Well, I'm going to tell you how a simple light
can really send a powerful message in our community. And
the light color is blue and it's shining here in
our community right now, selling you one on those details.
Next to today's Sunny Story of the day, Sonny one
six point five Sonny when I was six point five.
It's Jowanna and Sean. Alright. We have been teasing this

(09:13):
a major announcement this morning, one of Sonny's signature events
and uh, you know give backs that we do throughout
the year, and we are so excited for year five of.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Las Vegas's largest baby Shelle.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
Thatduo. Oh listen, I am so thrilled about this. It
benefits our friends at Baby's Bounty. This is year five
bigger than ever before. So the concept super easy. You
donate diapers or a monetary donation only has to be
one hundred dollars and then you're gonna receive a pair

(09:52):
of concert tickets from Live Nation Las Vegas as a
thank you. And this year the shows are Jonas Brothers,
Blake Shelter, New Kids on the Block, Kelly.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
Clarkson, Rod Stewart, Guns N' Roses, What Is Too Med,
Chelsea Handler, Josh Grubin, Naked Glazer, and David Space and.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
The return of the Mystery Ticket. So every event that
we host, we're also going to bring along mystery tickets
that you need to only find out about if you
show up. So if you don't show up, you're not
gonna find out what the mystery ticket is. But this
is such a huge event, you know, in four years,
I think the grand total has come to two hundred

(10:32):
and seventy two thousand and seventy six diapers.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
That's syst and Kret. You've got to feel so proud
about that. I know this was like your brainschild that
you you planted in the ground around your first pregnancy
with Rock. Yes, and it has turned to this incredible
just annual thing that we do here and taken on
the life of its own. And you, personally, i would say,
are responsible for helping so many families in the valley
with this.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Oh well, thank you. And we couldn't do it without
our incredible partners, Women's Health Associates of Southern Vada, the
Sunrise Health System and of course Live Nation Loss Vegas.
So this is going to be so much fun. We've
got five events. Kicks off next Friday, April tenth is
going to be our first event out at Women's Health
Associates of Southern Nevada Sky Canyon location, and then we've

(11:18):
got more events through April and May where you can
come on out, donate diapers and get show tickets and
we have more tickets than ever before.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
This year, and of course all the locations and shows
you can choose from me up at Sunny one of
six five dot com. We can't wait to see you
out there supporting. We do have a entertainment report to

his their debut tonight. Now he's stepping into his alter
ego DJ Diesel and he's going to be the guess
that a Lennium is bringing out during their Odyssey residency
finale tonight at Sphere.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
You know that Shaq DJ's in front of thousands of
people because he says it's the closest he's ever gotten
a feeling like he's back in the NBA Finals.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
That's so cool. I mean, I'm obsessed with Shaq. So
this is so awesome. It's going to be so much fun.
It's fare tonight. Now. Other entertainment news here in Vegas.
The Docksiders. I don't know if you've heard about this group,
but they are a yacht rock group and they have
a residency at the Grand Canal Shops at the Venetian

(12:49):
first yacht rock group here in Vegas to have a
residency and they've just been extended through twenty twenty seven.

the founder of Powersoul Cafe right here in Las Vegas,
and she is set to appear on Shark Tank on
April fifteenth. Now she is pitching her very fast growing
certified gluten free fast food concept that she launched just

(13:21):
a few years ago, back in twenty twenty four, and
she had to go through eight rounds of audition tapes
before she was finally secured for her spot in front
of the Shark.

tried and he was. He was proud of himself, right,
