Speaker 1 (00:00):
Why does it feel like every time you turn around
someone is trying to scam you out of your hard
earned money. It's Sonny Window six point five, Las Vegas's
best variety of the eighties nineties, and today it's Sean,
and I'm here to help you out as often as
humanly possible. Avoid those terrible scammers out there now. Clark
County is warning residents about a sneaky new phishing scam

(00:22):
that's hitting your email. All right, So there's a fake
email and it claims that a final approval of a
waiver application is due, and they misspell the word final
and there's a bogus invoice attached, and it comes from
a sketchy email address too, which ends in at USA
dot com. I've never seen anything in my life come

(00:42):
from at USA dot com anyway. Officials are saying, don't
click it, don't share any info, definitely don't pay it.
It is not from the county. It is simply designed
to trick you. Just another scammelert here from Sonny one
of six point five, trying to keep you safe out there.

variety of the eighties nineties and today, good morning, it's
Sean Our. iHeartRadio Music Awards coming up in September at
Team Mobile Arena. You can grab your tickets at AXS
dot com. And I just learned about a whole other
awards show, the Skytracks World Airline Awards.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
This is a.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Major gala that is held is it gala or gala
I don't know, a major event held in Paris every
year and names the best airlines in the world and
Qatar Airlines Guitar Airways has been named the best airline
in the world for twenty twenty five. It's the ninth
time they've gotten that top spot. Singapore Airlines was number two.

(01:50):
And how do you think the United States fared was
not well? Not a single US based airline made the
top ten. In fact, not the top twenty. Delta was
the I is dranking one at number twenty two, United
at fifty one, Jet Blue surprisingly fifty two, and the
ratings were mostly based off of customer service, with over

(02:11):
twenty million people voting. I don't know if that helps
you or hurts your decision on who to fly with
this summer if you're flying anywhere. But it looks like
Delta claiming the top spot as far as the United
States based airlines go. Coming up at six am, got
your first chance at one thousand dollars to help with
that airfare. Next, it's the workday, Payday on Sunny Window

(02:34):
six point five.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Wake Up with Sunday Mornings with Joanna and John on
Sonny one oh six point five.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Sunny Window six point five Las Vegas is best variety
of the eighties nineties, and today it is Sunday Mornings
with Joanna and Sean once again.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
What's going on? Joanna, Good morning, Hey.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Good morning, Happy Monday. I let my little out of
office check in that I've been able to do with you.
I mean, listen, I am really timing Isabella's like sleep
schedule around my callins.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Yes, yes, I totally get that.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
And it's crazy now that it's actually been just about
five weeks at this point. Right, it's flown by since
Isabella was born. So what is new? What's weird and
different right now in your life?

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Well, I've got to tell you this.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
I feel like now that Isabella is like over a
month old, she's eating so much more like her, Like
her feeding schedule has drastically increased over the past month.
But also someone else's feeding schedule has also drastically increased.
And I'm talking about mine now as a new mom, Like,
I'm trying to nurse as much as I possibly can,

(03:35):
like listen, at the end of the day, feed is best,
and so I'm doing a combo of both formula and
nursing for Isabella. Now, I'm really trying to like up
my supply so I can feed Isabella as much as possible.
So I'm on all these like mommy blog Sean and
I like, I'm like trying to get advice from moms
out there, and one of the questions is, like how
do I up my supply? Like what can I do

(03:56):
to keep my supply up over these weeks? And the
advice that I get is all over the place. But
a lot of women tell me to do things like
eat double stuff, oreos, oatmeal, cream pies, drink doctor pepper,
drink as much body armor as you possibly can.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Butter a peanut butter.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Like all these things that are not healthy. Uh for
somebody who has, you know, diabetes issues in the past,
not healthy alternatives. But as like a mom who's kind
of navigating this world again, I'm taking all the advice
and just like stuffing my face with all these horrible foods.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
You know, I'm like, I'm obviously not nursing, but I'll
tell you I wish someone would give me an excuse
to eat double stuff oreos and oatmeal cream pies and
peanut butter, and I could tell them it was for
a good reason.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
And you know, sometimes like when you take advice, you
like go down the extreme rabbit hole. And for me
it went from.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Like double stuff oreos to now.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
I am Amazon amazon ing mega stuffed oreoles. Do you
know mega stuffed oreos as an actual thing.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Sean, I did, and I think I had draw the
line at the double stuff. I tried those once and
I said, you know what I mean, the double stuff
is perfect. I don't need to go beyond this. It's
a monstrosity, is what it is.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
The megas.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Even my husband, who's like a huge Oreo fan, he
came into the kitchen, he saw me opening the mega
stuffed oreos.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
He's like, Juanna, what are you doing. I'm like, anything
to be able to nurse Isabella.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
And he's like, put the mega stuffed oreos down.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Okay, how do you put them down? Oh no? And
I'm like, they're actually kind of good. Not gonna lie,
they're pretty good. Look, no Oreos.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
That's probably one of my top two favorite cookies out there,
So I mean, they could definitely worse things to be stuffing.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Your face with. I think in the name of you know,
nutrition for your child, that's for sure.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Listen, whatever it takes, it's just been, you know, an
interesting journey is a second time journey to navigate, but
we're getting through it every single day. And like you said,
like time has flown by with Isabella being five weeks
old now, and you know, I do feel like she's
now transitioned from the premi clothes because that's what she's
been in the passed five weeks to now the newborn sizes.

(06:03):
So it almost in a way, even though five weeks
have gone by, it feels like I truly have a
newborn now, which is really cool.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
You know what.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
And it's in those early stages, like you get all
these cute outfits, you get like one use out of them,
and then they grow out of them really quickly. And
I sometimes I feel like that story of my life too,
Like I buy something that I immediately gain weight.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
Well, listen, if I keep eating these mega stuffed oreos,
I'm gonna have a whole new wardrobe here.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Oh man, Joanna, great to hear from you.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
I'm glad Isabella is doing well, beautiful little girl. I
love the pictures you've been posting on Instagram and looking
forward to our next out of office, checking with you
next Monday.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
I can't wait. Great to talk with you, Sean. Happy Monday, everybody.
NY one six point.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Sunny Window six point five Las Vegas is best variety
of the eighties nineties, and today it's Sean, I got
your sunny story of the day. And today is the
groundbreaking ceremony marking the official startup construction on the athletics
new baseball stadium here in Las Vegas. We are one
step closer to having Major League Baseball here in the valley. Now,
this whole process started back in May of twenty twenty one.

(07:12):
That's when the Athletics decided that they were not going
to be staying in Oakland, and it took them two
years and looking at dozens of different locations, but they
settled on Las Vegas, on the site of the old
Tropic Cana, and then back in October last year we
saw the trop get blown up, heartbreaking for a lot
of people I know. And we've seen a lot of
renderings of what that stadium is going to look like,

(07:33):
including that new spherical Armadillo shape with those crazy led
screens arching over the outfield that's going to see eighteen
thousand people. Pretty exciting stuff seeing the skyline of the
Las Vegas Strip change.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Right.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
Regardless of how you might feel about the Athletics, I
think it has a lot about the future of this
city being an absolute sports mecca. And right now the
Athletics are going to be in Sacramento until the start
of the twenty twenty seven season when Major League Baseball
arrives here on the Strip. Our friends at KTNV going
to be covering the ceremony this morning starting at eight am,

(08:12):
and we'll put everything you need to know over at
Sunnymino sixty five dot com. Just click on Sunny Mornings
coming up in a bit. Another chance to win one
thousand dollars with the workday Payday. It's back a chance
to win some free cash every hour.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Don't miss it. This is Sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean.
I'm Sunny one six point five. All right, Las Vegas.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
If you are commuting to work at around the same
time the students are commuting to school, be very, very
aware of where those school buses are and what they're doing.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
It's Sunny Wine of six point five. I'm Sean.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
There is a new law that has been passed and
Nevada is stepping of school bus safety in a big way.
This new law, it's going to let school districts install
cameras on those swinging stop arms of buses, and those
cameras are going to catch drivers who illegally pass when
red lights are flashing. I've seen so much footage of
people blowing by school buses that are stopped with students

(09:03):
getting on and off and almost hitting kids. It's insanely dangerous.
Now that footage is going to go right to local
traffic enforcement, and violators are going to get citations sent
to them in the mail. I don't imagine those are
going to be cheap, because the money from those tickets
is going to help pay for cameras on more buses.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
So be safe out there.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
In the meantime, if you get a parking ticket, not
one for passing a bus, but parking tickets for the
time being until June thirtieth, you can actually pay in
lieu of your fine.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
You can actually pay with new.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
And unwrapped school supplies, and you got until June thirtieth
to do that. So be safe out there. It's sunny,
but at six point five, coming up at seven point
forty getting into Universal Studios with the name drop, So
stick around and see if we call out your
