Speaker 1 (00:00):
What is your favorite restaurant in the world, or perhaps
just here in Las Vegas. It's Sunny one of six
point five. I'm sean a company called Data Essentials. They
rank restaurants and if I ever lose my job here,
that is what I'm going to go do. They used
customer ratings to name winners in various categories. America's overall
favorite restaurant is Chick fil A, not surprising. Gotta love

(00:21):
those sandwiches and they are the nicest folks ever. They
will chase you down if you leave a dime on
their counter and until you'd have a great day in
and out. Was named America's most craved totally good bet.
Texas Roadhouse won best Restaurant Experience. That is debatable. Little
Caesars took the Value Leader prize and Kava.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
I don't think we have them here. It's a Mediterranean chain.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
They've been named best Healthy Chain. So what's your most
popular chain here in Las Vegas? What are your favorites?
I'm gonna go with Esther's Kitchen downtown or maybe Taco's Elcompeta.
It's like a tiny spot at Charleston and Jones. Great tacos,
but here in Las Vegas. According to this survey, Olive
garden is the most popular. Apparently we have ten Olive
gardens in and around Las Vegas. And I love me

(01:02):
some bottom as breadsticks and their Ravioli.

Speaker 2 (01:05):

So many things to do here in Las Vegas. This summer,
the NBA two K twenty sixth Summer League back yet
again here in Las Vegas from July tenth to the twentieth.
It's bringing all thirty teams right here to the Thomas
and Mack Center at UNLV.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
I love that facility, by the way.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Look it's a great place to check out rookies, second
year players, rising stars trying to show off what they
got right.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
There's gonna be.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Six to eight games every day, plus a playoff and
championship round. What I love about this is that it's
also relatively affordable.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
You gotta go. You gotta love it.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
If you have any sports fans or just want to
go have a good time at the Thomas and Max
Center check out some high quality basketball. NBA two K
Summer League is definitely a great choice. Also, oddly a
film festival, behind the scene tours and meet and greets
with a lot of these players. Tickets are on sale
right now. Your last name does Sunny Mornings with Joanna

make this just the most perfect summer for you? It's
Sunny Window six point five. Las Vegas is best variety

Speaker 2 (02:18):
My name is Sean.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
My wife has a large Filipino family. We are currently
planning a vacation with all of them. She's got four sisters,
they all have kids. Of course, the grandparents too. But
I'm looking forward to this. This is going to be perfect.
My kids can play with all of their cousins and
we don't have to get involved. They can entertain each
other and all of us aunts and uncles. We can
all hang out together, do our own thing. Steph is

(02:40):
in North Las Vegas.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
What about you?

Speaker 1 (02:42):
What do you think the most ideal summer for you
would be?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
What?

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Can I really say this?

Speaker 2 (02:46):
But the best part would be kids being in camp
all summer while my husband and I travel through Romantic Island.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Ooh, that would be the best summer. You know what,
travel with the kids without the kids. Both are perfectly
reasonable ants. Stick with us, going to come back, give
you another chance to win one thousand dollars in just

(03:14):
I got your sunny story of the day here. Now,
if you're watching UNLV football games this season, you're gonna
notice something a little different. For the first time ever,
there will be a sponsor's logo on the Rebels game field,
a Kesso Biologics. They are a locally headquartered plasma the
therapy company. You're gonna see their logo on the twenty
five yard lines inside Allegiant Stadium. But here's why this

(03:36):
is even more interesting. A Kesso Biologics is doing this
to bring more awareness to their Sacks for Shoes campaign. Now,
what that means is that for every single sack recorded
by UNLV during the season, they're going to be donating
to the Goodie two Shoes Foundation. They are a locally
headquartered nonprofit and they provide disadvantaged children with new shoes

(03:59):
and socks, as well as other items that are necessary
for good health and positive development. So if you're watching
a game and you see a sack, you can point
at that logo and say, hey, Casso biologics, guess what
they have to do Now, They're gonna be donating to
the Goody two Shoes Foundation. At the very least, you
learned about the Goody two Shoes Foundation and maybe another
reason to watch you in LV games this season. It's

You may never borrow someone's phone again after this. It's
Sunny Window six point five. Las Vegas is best variety
of the eighties, nineties, and today.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
My name is Sean.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
And by the way, if you've ever heard someone answer
a call in the bathroom, please let me know.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Call me.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
I'm not currently in the restroom. Look, most people are
not going to admit it, but most of us use
our phones while in the bathroom.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
This study I'm looking at.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Here says that we spend forty nine hours a year
on our phones on the toilet. And here's what people
are admitting to doing. Scrolling so social media. I think
that one's obvious watching videos, YouTube's getting a whole lot
of use, texting and sending dms. Most admit that they
stay in the bathroom longer just to finish something on

(05:12):
their phone. And here's the most shocking thing I found
in this study. A few folks, just like two percent
admit to answering video calls from the restroom. Absolutely not.
I think the worst part though, is that there may
only be one in four people that actually clean their
phone after using it in the bathroom. And I think
that number is I don't think it's one and four.

(05:32):
I think it's less than that. Honestly, who's doing that?

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Let's talk to Marnie on the line.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Marnie, you've heard someone answer the phone in the bathroom
before she answered, and she was.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
In a bathroom and the toilet plush.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
And it was so awkward. If you answer a call
in the bathroom on I call you, I am hanging up.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Yeah, yeah, definitely sunny one oh six point five.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
What is a perfect summer vacation? For you, it's Las Vegas.
It's his best variety, the eighties, nineties, and today I'm Sean.
I'm only thinking about this because I'm in the middle
of planning a big vacation.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
With my wife's family.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
There's going to be like twenty five of us for
my in loss fiftieth addiversar rate.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
It's a big deal.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
But I realized that is not even the destination.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
To me, that is super important.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
I mean, it's nice, but I am excited about being
able to completely disconnect, just unplug, get off the grid,
no responsibilities.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
That to me is the best.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
And if my kids are entertained and can get some
time in with their cousins, even better. But to me,
unplugging is the most important thing. That are some places
I could be completely naked without a problem. Uh, Kim,
you're on sunny when it was six point five. What's
a perfect vacation for you for summer?

Speaker 2 (06:42):
The perfect summer for me would be to go to
the beach at least twice a week, because when I'm
near the ocean, I feel like.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
A bird, you know, you know, it's odds I feel
the same way when I'm completely naked.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
This is sunny Mornings with Joanna and Sean.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
I'm sunny when it was six point five
