Speaker 1 (00:00):
Cocktails. Oh my god, I want to run them and
down the street and do cartwheel my liquor pick of
the week. I don't even know my good You know,
people accuse me for having a set of balls on.
It almost seems like a spiked coffee delicious, right, I
feel like I'm watching a drama on fold Cocktails cocktails,

(00:25):
So let's get in on listening to Tails of the Cocktails.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Did you miss us? Because we missed you, We need
to read you that intro. At the same time, it
kind of gave me the feels too, just it's nostalgic.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
I know, I got chills.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Actually, oh wow, So we just figured we check in.
It's been a couple of years.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Literally. Yes, we're all at.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Very different places in our lives. So if you're listening
in for the first time, my name is Wendy Wilds joined.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
With Astra and I'm Danielle Dellolo.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Now Wes has moved on to a different job, so
to have him in the room and joining us would
be difficult, But shout out to Wes. He's doing real
well right now. He's very happy. He and Adriana ended
up getting married.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Yeah, congratulation and didn't think like a pet they got
a dog or doctor got a house, like they're literally living.
They grew up.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
And meanwhile, here we are and we down.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
We're still on the hunt for a man. Well no, no,
actually we have a Wendy update too, because last week
had doctor Nebraska that we were talking about.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
We have a up day, you know, the subtle shade
not calling him a doctor actually makes me feel pretty
good there because.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Oh that's right, So we went from mister to doctor.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
He was doctor and he's hate being called mister.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Like.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
The thing is that the level of douchin is there.
But don't get me started. I don't really care about
having a man or a woman or anybody right now.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
I'm in the same boat. I mean, although I'd like
to had a little action, but I mean, shoot, don't
we all Yeah, yeah, I mean.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
I'm still I'm still in the same place. I feel
like I was before, although no, I have a couple
of work updates.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Yeah, I feel you've stayed wise, but have like upgraded
your life in other areas right right.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
It may not have a man still, but I did
have some really good jobs, you know, so I left
serious XM. You guys know that I was working there
when we were doing tales, I ended up landing a gig.
It was a dream gig over at Page six as
the host and anchor and camera on camera. So they
actually they did an audition out of four hundred people.
I landed that gig, which was incredible. Yeah, you know

(02:39):
you're very good at Daddy Estra, thank you. So it
was a dream job. Super happy about that. Did it
for about a year and a half, and you know,
sometimes things just don't go the way you want them to.
Not that I was unhappy. I just wasn't getting what
I wanted out of it.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
I felt your work life balance was also a little
out of whack, a little out.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Of whack because in between all of that, I ended
up landing mornings at KTU with Hollywood, Hamilton and the
k T Morning Cruise. So essentially my work day went
from six am till about seven pm. I was in
bed at eight thirty every night, and I only had
about forty eight hours of free time per week. So
something had to give, yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
And it did. I feel like things have a way
of working themselves out in that sense. And now having
you here in the morning, because you used to have
to peace out at like eight thirty.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Yeah, to get to paid O.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Now we get to see each other more. And that
was when the topic came up, like what about the podcast?
First off, like the harry Balls, I feel like we're
like we've evolved.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
The intro sounded very cringe.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Yeah, we have to update that, but you know what,
in time only because we need to do a few
more episodes so we.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Can get some good sounds out of it and to
see if people would actually listen, Like do we still
have our old listeners? I know that Henry p. D
listens to my other.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Podcast, and then we have raj We always chiming in
raj FX.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Yes, and also don't don't forget about in our favorite
hot Sauce couple.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Yes, which I think they're on baby number two already,
right on.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Baby number two. Yet they are like the nicest couple ever.
Imagine they just checked their podcast feed one day and
we pop up. They'd be like, wait, what what?

Speaker 1 (04:17):
But it's yeah, layers, Wait these ladies are back. Where
what happened? Actually?

Speaker 2 (04:22):
No, the last episode I think we did was twenty
twenty one, I believe so. So it's been and we
were almost five years yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
We were doing it from home because it was COVID.
Everybody was working from home, and you were doing the
home that at homework thing. Yeah yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Remember we were interviewing people on the zoom.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
And I just wanted to cry over the bad quality
audio everything.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Yes, oh god. But at least now we're in the
studio where it's crisp and clear.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Clear. Yeah, the three of us in one room, I mean,
not having that fourth voice. Maybe we'll rotate in a
different opinion everyone's.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Should we have a few people around the building, especially
some males that we can bring in to kind of
like offset the balance.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Yeah, I mean I feel like I kind of all
set the well, like I'm not that feminine, like I
guess I have aspects of myself that are. But in
a way, I know this change. I think it's always been.
It's not anything that's ever changed. I'm not looking for
a boyfriend. I don't.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Are you looking for a girlfriend.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
I'm not particularly looking for a girlfriend, but I do
I do find myself to be open and on that.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Are you pan sexual? Yes, oh, but at.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
The same time a little bit asexual right now, which I.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Think you can from which I think we all kind of.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Artist, you know what is I don't prioritize. I certainly
have decentered men, but it doesn't mean I'm centering women either.
I'm actually centering myself.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
That's good as you should.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Feels like they're really healthy.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
You need to do you need to do them. I
think we all have kind of done that, except Danielle
needs to start doing that.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Because I feel like I'm We're a different places. But
I feel like when I first went through my breakup,
it was kind of like, oh my gosh, I'm hanging
up pick me culture. As soon as I found my
peace by myself in my own house with my own little.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Kiddie cash, we talk about that update. You were living
in an apartment and now you own your homeowner homeowner,
Like we'll get into all of this, like there's even
the story of how that ended up being.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
But once you find your piece on your own, realizing
that you can do anything you want, you can watch
any show you want, You only have to prepare one.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Dinner and you could be naked all day in the house. Literally.
I love that, Danielle.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
I know you're in the process of moving as well.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
Yes, I am so excited, I mean sad to leave
the beach. I'm going from Long Beach to the Brook.
I'm moving to lynn Brook in a brand new building.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Oh I'm so why didn't.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
You just give everyone your address too so they can
come over, hobby?

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Should we edit that out?

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Can't? I love it?

Speaker 3 (06:48):
No, this place is amazing.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
I'm so excited. They got billiards.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
I love playing pool, and then we're gonna find you
at the billiard's room by yourself.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
No, I love it.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
I love it. You know you just you could play
by yourself.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Oh that's one game you'll go. Really, I mean you
could play bay.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
I looked up that you have one of my favorite
sushi places nearby. Yeah, so I'm had to take the
Long Island Railroad over to visit you.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Oh my god, please do Yeah, I mean it's what's
great is that I can go from lynn Brook to
the beach or linn Brook to the city and it's
thirty minutes to the city, which is what I needed.
I need convenience, and it's you know, fifteen minutes to
the beach on the train. So I'm living the best
of both worlds.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
And I will say with Long Beach, no hate because
I know a lot of our listeners live on Long
Beach or frequent it.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Yeah, but there's no parking over there now.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
There's only two ways on and off the island, So
if something happens, traffic jam, whatever, you're kind of stranded.
Did you feel like nobody wanted to visit you out and.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
No one ever wanted to come because.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
It's all the way at the end of Guam. It's
so sad. I mean, like.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Miles wise, it's not that far, but to travel it
is impossible.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
To get to a parkway, it's like twenty minutes.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
Yeah. Yeah, So last night I went to my friends
in Floral Park forty.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Minutes to get there, Oh my gosh. And you think
Floor Park is so close.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
Nope, forty minutes and then forty minutes to get home.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
That's insane.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
When I moved to Lynnbrook, it'll be fifteen minutes.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
I feel you're now gonna be fifteen twenty minutes away
from me from anybody. That's what I need. Yeah, I
need convenience. But I'm still the option to go to
the beach, yeah, because that's important.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
And I'm still gonna take my pictures, although not every
morning will you see a sunrise?

Speaker 1 (08:30):
And not every night will you see a sunset from
the beach? Nor will we get a d D on
the balcony?

Speaker 2 (08:34):
No, but I'm gonna, but you're gonna have a new balcony.
Othern't have a d D on the roof.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
On the roof, yeah, roof, the roof. The roof is
on fire. We don't need no water. We got mother, No,
we got double d up there.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
I don't know. By the way, do you want to
tell Astra what I made you do yesterday? It was
so funny.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Okay, you're gonna laugh at this. Oh gosh, you know
crystal water is Oh yes, okay, so.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Pure.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
So in high school we danced to a couple of
her songs and one of them was one hundred percent
Pure Love. So I said to Wendy, I said, oh
my god, I did a cheerleading dance to one hundred
percent Pure Love.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
I gotta show up. And you remembered the dance.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
From thirty years ago.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
And she was really fun. She was very chill. So
I figured that if I mentioned Danielle had a dance
for her, she would be all about it.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Oh my gosh, what was her reaction. She was clapping.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
She said, videotape it.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Yeah, yeah, she has it. We'll show you.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
She I have to put up on the tails page.
We still have the Tails Instagram page. Access. Yes, yes,
we did have access to up we do this podcast.
Oh my gosh, oh we do, we have, we have access.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
Okay, it's just funny how long it's been yet we've
all remained here. I think if if anything were even closer,
I think anything, we've matured, but like not in a
boring way.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
No, and we still look damn good.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
Okay, what are we drinking here?

Speaker 1 (10:08):
I got a coffee, I got a hot chocolate.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
How things have changed?

Speaker 1 (10:12):
I have nothing where it's our cocktail. We have to
do the next episode with a cocktail. Yeah, absolutely, you
know what we gotta do. Also, we got to learn
how to make some mocktails.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
Yeah. I had some kidney issues a couple of years ago.
So between that and also now the fibromyalgia. If you
listen to my other podcast, we're trying to limit our
inflammatory things, which includes out.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
I can't believe it. It sounds like we're getting old
like that. Those words just make me feel about your hips. Oh,
it was like my inner thigh area, like I don't
even know what happened, but I feel better now. I
was stretching.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
I can't just jump out of bed in the morning
like I.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
Was hobbling a couple of weeks ago out of bed.
I'm like, what is going on? I'm not that old guy. Yeah,
of us are.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Honestly, I said this, I said, the day you turn
thirty five is.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
When things are hell.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Yeah, that's it could be something small like I don't know,
you start getting ingrown toenails or something.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
There's like your finger hurts out of nowhere, it's out
of nowhere, you get the inflammation. It happens.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
So and thirty five is certainly not old. No, so listen,
we're embracing all of the things, all of the things
that come our way, you know, good, bad. That's why
we're here. I always wondered why people tuned into our podcast,
because at one point it was really popular.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
It was it was, and I think and it's only
going to get popular again. You know what. We just
have to resurrect from the dead, and that's what we're doing.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
I used to wonder what it was like, what was
our appeal? Why why did people like Chris and Maggie
and Henry pe d care what we had to say.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Well, we were funny and we had a lot to share.
We had a lot of insights on our own personal
line and a.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
Lot of different vantage points.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
Yeah, you know, we all have we all have different
talents also, and I think people love hearing about what
we're doing, you know, besides being here, and.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
We all have different lifestyles which everybody loves.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
I think also it's the authenticity to yeah, where we
don't oh and not saying we're not authentic on the
air or in real life, but this is a place
where we can.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
We can get raw.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
Oh you.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
Let me put my feet.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
I mean we start talking about this while we're not
talking about getting zapped and tapped so much anymore. As
she's getting her eyebrows done, I feel like that'll be
something we could talk about so excited about.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
Because you guys inspired me. You guys got your eyebrows done,
and I'm like, you know that I look good. I've
always been afraid because I think, to myself, a face tattoo,
that's kind of what it is. But Wendy, you were
telling me that this girl that I'm going to is
like super famous.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
She's like world renowned and and I think a lot
of us had saved her work as inspiration for our artists.
She's like, you got a really great deal because you've
never been.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
I've never been. I've never been browed before, but now
I'm gonna get browed. I'm so happy. And it's just
in time for the birthday.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
Yeah, that's right, less than a week away. Yes, wait,
we're not how many days it's a fun day?

Speaker 1 (13:06):
Yeah? Wait, oh my gosh, it's it's on Monday, the tenth.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Well, listen, I know that we're gonna be wrapping things
up because you've got a meeting and we from now
on are going to be when we do check in
keeping this bite sized.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
Yeah yeah, bite size is always great, unless we decide
to have a guest one day and then we'll elongate it. Yeah,
elongated things at times. Oh, we haven't seen any in
a while. No for yourself, Kenny.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Who, thank you guys so much? We do we have
outro music I don't even remember.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
Maybe this could work, say goodbye, we'll just smooze on
out the door, walking out the door.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Wow, see you around, baby.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
Maybe give our socials isn't that what we used to do?

Speaker 1 (13:52):
Oh yeah, cheers something that's right. So Wendy, would you
like to start?

Speaker 2 (13:57):
I don't remember our socials, so you're oh, Wendy Wild
Radio on Instagram and tik talk, and mine is Astra
on the air on Instagram, TikTok x, threads, you name it,
I'm out there.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
Oh and I'm very simple at Danielle Delilo everywhere.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
And of course on Instagram for all of us, we
are tails over Cocktails, which is easy to remember us
and I do have the login for it, so we're good, fantastic.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Well, until next time, guys, Jee
