UNT’s Eric Morris is heading to the Big 12.

Eric Morris has taken the job. Seemingly. Reports are suggesting
that Eric Morris Unt's current head football coach as they
make a charge for the college football Playoff, seems like
he has accepted the position as head coach at Oklahoma State.
I know a lot of Texas State fans out there
will breathe a huge sigh of relief, as I think

that's a mistake, to be honest, which one that Eric Morris.

Oklahoma State, I mean not sorry, not Oklahoma State hiring
Eric Morris. That's a great hire. Eric mooris going from
North Texas to Oklahoma State. I feel like, just because
the way the collegewall Playoff is set up, North Texas
is going to have an easier time or even a
better chance to make the playoff in North Texas than
you are Oklahoma State.

I think you could make a fair argument that you're right. Yeah,
I mean, looking at you know, the American Conference this
year is pretty stacked at the top, and you know
you're probably every year going to be thinking, whoever wins
that conference is going to be the group of five
school unless a Sun Belt school like if James Madison

right now was undefeated instead of one loss, I think
there would be a stronger argument for them, of course
there would be. But every year, I think you're going
to find a strong conference champion coming out of the
American I know. Obviously, DJ Kenney's name was bandied about
with his connections to Oklahoma from his time record setting

time at Tulsa's the starting quarterback, but reports are also
saying Eric Morris is going to stay and coach the
Mean Green through the rest of the regular season and
a potential conference championship game and a playoff appearance if
they do go that far. I don't think he'll hang

around for a bowl game, but they are in the
driver's seat. They went out to Lane wins out. That's
your American Athletic Conference champion ship game, and then eventually
he will head to Stillwater. So we have one of
the names or one of the positions filled in the
coaching carousels. Still waiting to see what Lane Kiffin's gonna
