Speaker 1 (00:00):
Brand new Low Cash on Michigan's number one for new
country B ninety three. Doesn't that song make you want
to like sway back and forth? Yes, in some sort
of hammock or in the backseat of a car with
windows down, and you know that they are gonna do
that one live at the Intersection next Friday night at
our B ninety three Low Cash Summer Party. We're also
(00:21):
gonna get I love this life. We're gonna get I
know somebody. We're gonna get hometown home. I mean, we're
gonna get a good show.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
On a Friday night.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
On a Friday night. Tickets are just fifteen bucks. Get
them at B ninety three dot com. I think we
got someone on the phone here. Good morning, B ninety three,
It is the B ninety three Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
What's going on? Alli and Mike? Hey, it's Low Cash.
You got Preston?
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Hey Preston, how are you? Man?
Speaker 2 (00:49):
Oh? Good? How y'all doing? Uh?
Speaker 1 (00:51):
We're doing pretty good. We're getting real excited to see
you guys very soon. July twenty fifth, at the Intersection
our B ninety three Cat Summer Party.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
We're ready, man, Yeah, we can't wait. It's been a
while since We've been to the Intersection and up with
Grand Rabbits, so we're pumped up too.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
What can we expect from the show? You guys got
any tricks up your sleeve? I feel like you always do.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
You know. It's funny you say that because we always
have a set list and then about three songs in,
I'm like, what are we doing next? I mean, we
just we always are up there just winging it and
having fun and reading the audience. And I think that's
something that Chris and I just do pretty well. You know,
we kind of watched then see where the crowd wants
to go. If they want to party right off the bat,
(01:34):
and we're going, and you know, if they want to
ease into it a little bit, then we'll get there.
But we kind of read the crowd and roll with it.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
I love that well. I'm hoping that the B ninety
three listener family is bringing the party because that's the
kind of mood that I'm in so selfishly, my fingers
are crossed.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Well summertime, and and we're known for bringing the energy
and having a good time and making me forget about
your problems, and I mean that's what we want to
do too. And we at the stage, we want to
forget about everything too except having a good time and
singing some songs. And you guys have been so good
to us with Hometown Home and and all the new stuff,
So thank you, and everybody knows the words everywhere we're
(02:13):
going right now, and it's just so much fun.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Well, I'm so glad to hear that we were actually
just cranking up some wrong hearts. I love that tune,
thank You, Thank You.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
That's that was a sneaky song for us because we
almost didn't put it on the album, and then at
the last second we're like, you know what, I think
this is going to speak to a lot of people
and they're going to relate, and so we put it
on the album and the next thing, you know, it's
a single. I mean it went from you know, almost
not making it on the album to being here, we are, Here,
we are, It's on the radio.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Isn't that so funny? Sometimes the ones that you think
are going to be like, oh, well, we liked it,
so we want to do it, they're kind of sleepers,
like they come out of nowhere. I love it.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Yeah, you know, thanks for saying that, because it's it's
brand new to radio right now. And you're always has
a artists. You're always a little nervous when the when
the new song goes to radio and how are people gonna,
you know, attach to it and do they dig it?
Do they like it? And this song has been our
fastest moving single of our career, and it's kind of
one of those chill songs, but it's been so fast
(03:16):
for us.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
It's a vibe, it's a groove. It's like like fifties
and sixties almost. It reminds me, you.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
Know, Chris and I were in the truck the other
day just talking about, you know, we've been on the
road with the Beach Boys a lot and and touring
with those guys, and maybe some of that, you know,
has kind of rubbed off on us a little bit
because some of our songs are starting to have that,
you know, that that tip of the hat to the
sippies and sixties, Like you.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
Said, yeah, but that that slide guitar sound, that steel guitar.
I mean, it never went away, obviously, but more people
are starting to incorporate that. And I gotta say I'm
a big fan.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Thank you. Jacob Brice is our producer and we've we've
trusted him so much with just you know, the instrumentation
and trying things instrumentally. And you know Josh Thompson, I know,
you guys know Josh Thompson, a great artist, great songwriter.
He co wrote the song with us with Mattrestrom and
(04:16):
I don't know, I just think everything came together on
the song.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
Well, we can't wait to see you perform it live.
And like I said, I hope everybody is in the
mood to party because that's kind of the idea of
the B ninety three Low Cash Summer Party at the
Intersection on July twenty fifth. You guys have been to
West Michigan a ton. Is there anything that you like
to do or like any spots that you seek out
while you're here.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
You know, anytime we get near the Detroit area, we're
looking for the Coney Island and we're trying to get
that Coney Dogs. But you know, Michigan just has great
country music fans. It's crazy to us, because you know,
we get up there and we get some every time.
We're like, where are all these country fans coming from?
(05:03):
And they're just hiding up there in Michigan and we
love it so much, and so every time we get
up there, we just try to get out to the
local spots and you know, grab a cold drink at
a local bar or something and try to connect with
people the night before or after the show, and everybody's
just so cool.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
Yeah. We It's surprising to me still that so many
country artists start their tours in grand rapids at the
intersection or wherever. And it's just like, I guess that
it's because they want to start off with a bang,
and yeah, we come ready, we come knowing the words
you do.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
I remember when we started the Kane Brown tour. We
were opening for Caine Brown on his Arena tour and
we kicked it off in Michigan, and man, what a
great place to kick that off because it set the
tone for the rest of the tour. You guys just
know how to do it.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
Oh well, thank you. We're going to try to bring it.
But aside from you know, knowing the words, I'm still
working on wrong hearts, getting all the words to that
one right. But what is your favorite thing that fans
do at shows that hype you up? Is it the signs?
Is it? The dance moves? Is it boots on the speakers, man.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
You know, I think it just hands up, singing along, screaming,
enjoying the night right from the jump. If we don't
have to, you know, come out on stage and try
to get everybody going a little bit. Everybody's already wound up.
I love that feeling. It gets me so jacked, you know,
because we're standing backstage when the lights go down and
(06:30):
when we hear the party's already rocking out there. That's
that's what we love. And you know, we were I
can't remember where we were doing a show. We were
in Michigan one time at a festival and they were
doing you know, they were jumping on each other's shoulders
and then it was the first time I've ever seen this.
It was a double shoulder, right whoa and so yeah,
(06:51):
there was people on shoulders and then people on their
shoulders and drinks in the air, and I was like, okay, Michigan,
let's go.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
Well that is the vibe. Maybe not the double shoulders,
because I don't know if we can go how many
p all right? All right, all right, we get a pass.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
Dangerous the intersection is freaking out that you know, we
don't want anybody to get hurt. But man, y'all know
how to party.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
All right, Well, appreciate the time this morning, Preston, say
hi to Chris for us, and we can't wait to
see you guys. We are so excited. Low Cash Live
at the Intersection our B ninety three Low Cash Summer
Party Friday, July twenty fifth, Grab your crew, grab your
tickets at B ninety three dot com before this sells out.
(07:39):
We will see you guys soon.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Okay. We love B ninety three, come home.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
Thank you so much. Appreciate it you guys, and we
can't wait to see yus.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
All right, see y'all, Thank you bye.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
Nice guys. Yeah, love them and it sounds like they
are very much ready for the party, like we are
very much ready for the party. I love that. I
love feeling out the vibe. But they gave us a
very specific set of instructions, like what gets them pumped
is just feeling that hype energy before they come out
on the stage. So that's our job. We got to
have a couple drinks, We got to be loud, we
(08:12):
got to be in a good mood. So if you're
not coming with your party pants on, I don't know
what to tell you. Check your worries at the door.
Come ready for a good time.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
I hope all of those things you have on a
T shirt.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
Put your party pants on
