Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's the B ninety three Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
I'm Ali Mack and I we stream live wherever you
want to stream. And I had a moment the other day,
you know those moments that happen and you go, oh,
if I could just rewind the clock like thirty seconds,
yeah and avoid that, and you're just like kicking yourself. Obviously,
(00:24):
I was not supposed to be gone on Tuesday. I
was just supposed to have a little a little Monday
off after Easter, and I had to take Tuesday off
because on Easter Sunday I hit a big old pothole.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
And popped attire.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
Oh it's that time of year too, where they're just
the absolute worst and sometimes they sneak up on you
and you just was it a big one?
Speaker 1 (00:49):
It was not wide, but it was deep.
Speaker 4 (00:52):
Oh oh, doesn't it break here?
Speaker 3 (00:54):
Like it almost like breaks your bones in your body
when you feel it hit, when you feel it go woo.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
And if I would have been just like an inch
to the right or to the left, I probably would
have been fine. Yeah, you know, But I was like
merging onto an exit ramp for the heighth So I
was going fast and I was accelerating and like I
was we were trying to just.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
Like run out to the grocery store really quick. Burnt
toast theory.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
For some reason, I was not supposed to be at
that grocery store for whatever reason, because then, you know,
I had to wait for the tow truck and have
the vehicle towed. Yeah, yeah, to a dealership. And of
course I wasn't in West Michigan. I was, you know,
with family on the other side of the state. So
it was just like a whole thing. But if I
could just hit the rewind button for thirty seconds and
(01:41):
just I don't know, leave a little bit later, or
like not take that route to the grocery store, like
take a different way and like knock it on the highway.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
Oh did so, I noticed that your car's not here today?
Speaker 1 (01:52):
Again, No, it's not.
Speaker 4 (01:54):
Did it damage the cars? It only the tires.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
It was it was only the tire.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
But these days you can't just replace one tire because
of the alignment and the balance and like all of
this stuff. So I ended up having to have two
tires replaced because it was the front driver side that
popped on me. So they had to order the second tire.
They had one tire and This was not my regular dealership,
which like hurt me even more because I'm like, I
know my team at Zigler and Granville would have had me,
(02:22):
but they would have said, here's a loner car, don't
worry about it.
Speaker 4 (02:27):
They probably would the pressure.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
Do you get two either? You could probably just get one.
I just got one the other day, I know. I
mean it was a rear tire, so it's a little different,
I guess.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Yeah, but it's something.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
It's something with some of the newer cars, because my
Alpha is a twenty twenty four, and there's something with
the tires and like the tread and then the alignment
and stuff, and if you replace just one, it like
throws off the entire balance and increases the risk of
like popping another tire. Enough set, if there's an increased
risk of me doing this again anytime soon, I'm out, like,
just put whatever on there. Let me get my credit card,
(03:02):
you know.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
But yeah, so my car is stuck at a dealership
somewhere else, So I have Jimmy's car for a little while.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
That is, or down to a one car family.
Speaker 4 (03:15):
One car. Uh, that is a giant pain.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
They should add, Uh, this should be a new feature
for car builders out there, a pothole feature. You know
how it warned you if you're about to get in
an accident. It should be like, did you do this
bothole coming up? Did you do do this a bothole
coming up? I would pay I will put my hands
at ten and two every time if I knew that.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
Yeah, I just I didn't even see it.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
And like I said, if I had been just like
an inch to the left or right, if I could
just hit that rewind button for like thirty seconds and
get over a little bit sooner or get over a
little bit later, like if there was any time that
and on Easter Sunday, like come on. But I will
say the Alpha connect like the roadside service that comes
(04:02):
with Alfa Romeo. Fantastic, Yeah, fantastic. I called and they
had someone on the way right away. And then after
like the tow truck came and picked up my vehicle.
Alpha sent me a thirty dollars lift credit in case
I needed to, like Uber anywhere, which I did. Oh right,
it was awesome. I can't say enough good things about
the customer service. I just wish I didn't have to
(04:24):
find out about it.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
Yeah, you never want to do those things, but it's
always good to have them.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
Yeah, And I know what you're thinking, why didn't you
just put the spare tire on a lot of new vehicles.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Don't come with one.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
Oh you don't have one.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
I don't have a spare tire.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
Well I didn't know that.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Yeah, so just you know, just so you know, But
I want to know if you ever had a moment
like this where it's like, if I could just rewind
like ten fifteen, twenty seconds, what.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
Was it we had that we last night? We had
wood last night. I feel bad.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
I have to apologize to her tomorrow, to our friend
here Schmidty.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
Oh no, yeah, uh we was the end.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
We were watching Lion King last night and it's probably
nine thirty, almost ten o'clock. Yeah, and our both of
our kids are younger, so like when it gets towards
the end, you're like, all right, we can just make
it this last thirty minutes. We'll be fine. And they
both did great. They were phenomenal. But we chose to
use M and M's to get our kids to chill. Yeah,
and she they obviously that's something you kind of got
(05:24):
to keep under wraps because you don't know if their
kids want that and you don't, and so we were like, hey,
we got them this for that, and both of their
kids went foop and looked and I went, oh, if
I could go back and be like, why would I
Why did we do that?
Speaker 4 (05:38):
Why did we share that piece of information We didn't
have to.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
Sometimes we all need the rewind button. We want to
know when do you wish you could hit the rewind button?
Six one, six two, four to two ninety three, ninety three,
good morning, be ninety three?
Speaker 1 (05:51):
Who's this? And where are you from?
Speaker 5 (05:53):
This is Jasmine from Killmazoo Jasmine.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
When did you wish you could hit the rewind button?
Speaker 5 (05:58):
So it was actually Easter Sunday. We were on a
cruise and we were headed up the gangway ramps to
get back onto the ship from the island that we
were at in the Bahamas, and I thought I lost
my phone, so I turned to look for it. I
had towels in my hand. Well, then when I turned
to look for it, it fell out of the towels,
bounced off the gangway and went into the ocean.
Speaker 6 (06:19):
No oh no, yes, oh it.
Speaker 5 (06:25):
Just three winds thirty seconds and not look for it. Wait,
till I got on the ship to look for it.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
Yep, exactly.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
Did you have to wait until you got home to
get a new phone?
Speaker 5 (06:35):
I did?
Speaker 4 (06:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (06:36):
All that.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
Forced unplugged vacation, I.
Speaker 5 (06:41):
Know, and I lost all of our photos because I
didn't have Wi Fi on the ship, so we backed up.
So it was just oh my gosh, oh yeah, oh.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
I feel for your.
Speaker 5 (06:54):
Girls, Thank you, bye bye.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Those tiny moments it happens in like a spilit second
sometimes when you're like, oh, if I could just rewind.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
Yeah, why would I even do that?
Speaker 3 (07:07):
What was the part? Like half the time, it's what
did I do that for? There was no reason to
do that.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
That's exactly how I felt when I popped my tire
on Sunday.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
I was like, oh, if I.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
Could just go back a couple seconds and just be like,
I have an inch to the left.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
Mm hmm six one six two.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
Four two ninety three ninety three, When do you wish
you hit the rewind button? B ninety three Morning Show.
I'm Ali Mack and I'm Mike.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
We stream the Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Live wherever you want to join us on air Mic
and Ali Mack on air. I had Monday off yes,
did not anticipate taking Tuesday off. I always feel so
guilty when I like. It doesn't happen very often, but
every once in a while you got to call and
be like, hey, I gotta extend this just by just
(07:54):
to day. Something happened and blah blah blah. Always feel
so guilty doing that.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
Why.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
I don't know, I just feel bad. But you ever
have one of those moments where you just like the
rewind button. I just need to rewind like fifteen seconds.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
Oh yeah, yes, yes.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Easter Sunday, I'm on the highway and I hit a pothole.
Instantly my front driver tire loses all air pressure like
you can just like hear it.
Speaker 4 (08:27):
And I was like, ugh, you can almost feel it
when you hit those two you know, like oh, something's bad.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Yeah, And like Easter Sunday, So I was thinking, like, okay,
I've got Monday off, Like maybe I can you know,
make this work and repair this before whatever. Well, you
can't just replace one tire these days, you have to
replace two tires. And I'm not in West Michigan. I'm
on the other side of the state visiting family. So
I've got to take it to an alpha dealership over there,
(08:54):
and I'm like, my crew at Alfa Romeo of Granville
at Zigler would have me all fixed out, have me
with a loaner car. I wouldn't skip a beat on this. Yeah,
and I will say the service department at the other
dealership was also very helpful, very nice.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
It's great. They weren't quite my team at Zigler, but
we'll give them the past.
Speaker 4 (09:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
So I'm like, okay, just replace the tire. Well they
had one, but they had to replace two. They didn't
have the other tire, and it was just like a
big old headache. I still don't have my car because
I was like, I can't wait around another day and
like see when this tire gets shipped here, So like
I gotta I gotta get back to work.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
Yeah. The last time I was in a situation like that,
I had. They tried to get me to get out
four and I couldn't. I couldn't do it at that moment. Yeah,
so I got I was like, no, just put one
on the car and I will drive out of here.
I still need three. Yeah, they're not bad right now,
but I need three. But I'm with you, I can't
you can't wait when you gotta get it done. You
gotta get done, I know.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
So that's that's where I was on Tuesday.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
But just if I could just rewind the drive that
drive just like fifteen seconds and just be like half
an inch to the left, uh huh, or you know,
go a different way or what like burnt toast theory. Right,
I was running too the grocery store for something. Obviously
I wasn't supposed to be at that grocery store for
(10:15):
some reason. But it just like stopped my entire day.
Speaker 4 (10:19):
That sucks.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
Yeah, yeah, I think we all have had those where
like if you could go back and just change the
one thing, the outcome may have been different, may have
been different, or maybe you hit another one, or maybe
you blow out at four tires or maybe you know
what I mean, who knows what happens.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
That's a good way to take it, Like.
Speaker 3 (10:35):
Maybe something worse happens. Maybe this, yeah, maybe this stopped you.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
This was best case scenario.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
Yeah. I had one of those. Last night.
Speaker 3 (10:41):
I went to go see The Lion King with uh WHI,
Smidi and her family.
Speaker 6 (10:46):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 4 (10:46):
And it's the end.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
It's like the last twenty minutes of the show, and
my two year old is almost done. Like it's about
ten o'clock at that point. Yeah, and so we're like,
all right, we're just gonna give him like a little
snacky he'll be chill and he'll get through the They
made it through the whole thing.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
I was impressed. But so we got them some m
and ms.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
And every parent in that situation knows if their kids
don't or aren't allowed to have it in that moment,
you should not bring it up.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
And we weren't.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
You got to do it like secret.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Yeah, we were gonna wait to look because it was
during intermission, so we were like we got to wait
till the lights go off or whatever. And uh, I
for some reason just held up the bag and was
like we were because I was asking her how are
your you know, how the kids and she's like, yeah,
am I almost done too, And and I was like, oh,
we just got the m and ms to get in.
They immediately what do you think they did? They looked
(11:33):
and it can we have some m and ms? And
I went I tried to give them a bag of
ours and they're like no, no, no, no, they've had plenty.
They've already had plenty of stuff or whatever. Yeah, But
in that moment, I'm like, why did you do that?
Speaker 1 (11:49):
Good morning D ninety three? Who's this and where are
you from?
Speaker 6 (11:52):
Isaac from Belding. I'm calling in about the if you
could rewind ten seconds. So last year around summertime, I
was working on the job site and the boss man
told me to go pick up our skits deer from
a different job. So that's what I did.
Speaker 5 (12:12):
You know.
Speaker 6 (12:12):
I grabbed the trailer, started driving to the job site
and I backed the truck up a driveway and it
was on a flight incline, you know, and we had
done it ten or fifteen times before. I didn't think
nothing of it. And I loaded the skit steer into
the back of the trailer and the back tires come
(12:34):
up off the ground like they usually do, and it
wasn't locked in four wheel drives, so the front fires
weren't locked. And I went sliding down the hill and
jack knife this truck. So fuck is totaled. And I
guess if I could rewind ten seconds, I would have
just parked it on the road and drove the skit
steer down to the trailer.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
So GEZ is that one way?
Speaker 3 (12:56):
You're like yelling at the truck like it's the truck's fault,
but like in reality, like if you could change it,
it would change everything.
Speaker 6 (13:03):
Yeah, I would just I mean that thing was sliding
down the driveway and I was just in the back
of the trailer, like, well, here we go.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
You just need like to rewind like twenty seconds and
you'll be good.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
Appreciate the call, Isaac, have a great day.
Speaker 6 (13:17):
Yep, you too.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
Bye.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
I'm sorry that happened to Isaac, but that does make
me feel a little bit better.
Speaker 4 (13:23):
Yeah, we've all been there. We've all been there.
