As the search continues for the missing Michigan woman in
the Bahamas, Lynette Hooker, we have had both her husband
and her ex husband speak out on this. Her ex
husband says he is staying out of the speculation, focusing

(00:41):
on the daughter they share together, who just wants answers.
Lynette Hooker has ties to Onsted and vanished after reportedly
falling from a boat in the Bahamas. Her current husband,
who has been questioned by Behavian police, is denying any wrongdoing,
with a criminal investigation now underway the family, he says,
they are holding onto hope while waiting for some sort

(01:03):
of closure. NASA's Artemis To mission wraps up tonight, so
they are headed back into Earth's atmosphere. The most intense
part is still ahead. They have a twenty five thousand
mile per hour re entry and engineers had to adjust
the flight path after a heat shield concerns from a
previous mission. They say that the crew will be safe

(01:24):
during the fiery descent tonight, So everything comes down to
a very dramatic splashdown a little bit later this evening.
That's three things you should know. Here's one you probably shouldn't.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
This is from the New York Post. Apparently stressed gen
Z is carrying around anxiety bags with tools that calm
their nerves. Gen Z is carrying around things called anxiety bags,
basically small kids fig filled with stuff to help you
calm or help them calm down when they feel stressed.
For panicky, the bags usually contain things like fidget toys,

(01:59):
sour candy, or go essential oils like lavender, cold packs
or minifans. The idea is simple, when anxiety hits, these
items distract your brain and bring you back to a
moment using your senses. Experts say it's actually a really
smart idea. Having tools ready helps some people calm down
faster instead of trying to think through it in the moment,

(02:19):
I uh am not gonna lie. When I first read this,
I giggled and I was like, you need an anxiety bad,
you silly little goof. And then I looked at my
center council and realized the gum that I have in
my center council. Then I realized, I think this is
a genius idea. I think this is a genius idea
because like, I don't like suffer from anxiety, but I

(02:42):
have anxiety moments where I'm like, if I had something
to let like, like, it's usually things I can't control,
So if I had something just to calm my brain down,
whatever that might be, it might be something like this.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
You know what it is, what this is. This works
for me. What I saw this online and it actually
is very effective. It's a piece of sour candy.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
What's your go to sour candy?

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Sour patch kids, okay, or like sour skittle okay, But
it is actually super effective when you're feeling like really anxious.
It's something about the sourness that like disrupts this like
spiraling in your brain and sort of like redirects you
and like shocks you out of it. I like that
and like makes you come back into your body a
little bit.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
So, yeah, the sour candy works. I like that.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
My thing not to get into like a therapy session here,
but like my thing is like the thing I have Sometimes.
I think my biggest one is anticipating the things that
I'm going to be anxious about.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
So, like, I know there's something I can't control coming
up in the next couple weeks.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
I know it.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
I know it, and that's okay, but like I've already
created these situations where it's not going to be okay.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yeah, I am like what I try to solve the
problems before they come up.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
That's exactly what it is.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
And like I end up wearing myself out because I'm
like trying to solve problems that don't exact yet.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
And they usually don't even ever turn out that way.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
I know it's a waste of energy. Yeah, agreed, agreed,
So papas hour skittle about it, okay. V ninety three.

Kingdom of Fraud

Kingdom of Fraud

It’s the unlikeliest of criminal partnerships: a devout polygamist from an insular Utah sect joining forces with a shadowy Armenian tycoon from LA. The result - a billion dollar fraud conspiracy. In Kingdom of Fraud, investigative reporter Michele McPhee traces the origins of the extraordinary alliance between Jacob Kingston and Levon Termendzhyan. Together, the two men trigger the largest tax investigation in American history and weave around themselves a web of dirty cops, influential political relationships and transnational money laundering. All this is set against the backdrop of Jacob Kingston’s clan – The Order. A powerful and secretive polygamist organization in Salt Lake City. To whom Jacob is desperate to prove his worth.
