I'm Ali Mack, I'm Mike. Here are three things you
should know today. Yesterday, the jury came back completely deadlocked
on that verdict in the trial of former GRPD officer
Christopher Sure. They deliberated for twenty one hours before telling
the judge they just could not come to an agreement,
so the judge declared a mistrial. The prosecutor, Chris Becker,
now has to decide whether to refile charges and retry

the case. Something Patrick Leuya's family says they are in
favor of. A new pope has been selected, sixty nine
year old Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost from Chicago.

He spent some of it, Ladies and gentle with standing
five six from Chicago, Illinois. Your new Pope, Leo the fourteenth,
Leo the foty t.

But you know what. He also spent some of his
younger years in West Michigan. He attended a prep school
for aspiring priests in Allingan County. Oh that's cool. I
don't know that, and he did. He chose the papal
name Leo the fourteenth. He is the first American born
pope to lead the Catholic Church ever in the history.

The forty eighth annual Amway Riverbank Run set four tomorrow morning.
The weather looks pretty good, mostly sunny on Saturday, cooler
morning temperatures in the forties. The five k gonna start
at seven am, the ten K seven thirty, the five
k Community walk at seven forty five, and then the
twenty five k. The big event starts at eight thirty.
They're going to start closing down the roads this afternoon,

so heads up about three pm is when they start
closing stuff down. And if you're going to Cane Brown tonight,
well downtown might be a little interesting this evening, So yeah,
give yourself a little extra time. That's three things you
should know. Here is one you probably shouldn't.

most popular or populated cities across the US and I
have picked the coolest city.

The key factors to the coolest city is median age
of residents, number of street art murals, street art murals,
a number of vegetarian vegan bars and restaurants, number of
record stores, number of upcoming music events, and number of
tattoo parlors. That's the factors were cool okay, all right, okay,

Well Michigan made the list at number nine. Okay, Detroit's
on that list. But I was about to make fun
of the cool factors until I realized we were on
that list, because like, is this what cool is? This
is the coolest, this is what we're based cool on.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
I think somebody asked, chat chipep, what makes the city cool?

Speaker 3 (02:48):
That's what you need to do immediately, Hey, wait, what
makes the city cool? Boston made the list, Las Vegas, Portland.
See I thought a lot of this would be like Portland.
Thing wrong with Portland. This is just a very Portland
this description of cool, right, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, Nashville, Washington, DC.

But also I don't necessarily love the description of cool

The Cool Tigers beat the Rockies in both of their
double header games, ten to two on one eleven to one.
They're the second highest winning team right now in the MLB,
but behind the Dodgers, which is kind of awesome. They
play again today at six fifteen against Texas, which you
can hear on our sister station, would Radio, and then

Game three of the Griffins versus the Texas Stars. They
need to win this one. You can hear that at
