Kate Ray little baby go bra. All hands on deck
(01:21):
today for what's going to be a fantastic hump day.
I can already feel it. Are you guys humping the day?
I've been humping it? I was talking to you and
k T Yeah, specifically Christina, No, no, I have a
question for you. Yeah, independently of that. Do you know
what professional golfer Mike Troy would want you to join
in a band? In a band? Yeah, if there is
(01:42):
any professional golfer out there, isn't there one named Fleetwood?
There is one named fleet Just another reason why you
should watch House of Haymaker. Ben Earlier today at our
lunchtime House of Haymaker, Mike Siroy joined the cast. Oh
on a hump day. That's a big talent fee. It's
a big talent fee. And since as a hump day,
he brought up his girlfriend Christina, okay, and he said,
(02:04):
he said, if any professional golfer on the tour right now,
if we're to start a band with Christina, he would
want it to be Russell Henley. Russell Henley, you want
to weigh in on this, kt Russell Henley's looking at him.
He's one of.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
The most boring golfers on tour, really, but it's kind
of good.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Yeah. And Harris English on drums. This is the kind
of content you get if you watch House I Hate.
That's great today at noon. Okay, Uh, there's a lot
to get to here, so this is probably gonna run
a little bit late. And I just got to tell
you that. First of all, the Cowboys were linked to
a couple of free agents yesterday on the rumor mill,
nothing substantial, and each name made KT throw up in
his mouth. One of them was Bobby Wagner, the linebacker.
(02:48):
Was he fifty seven? He's thirty five? Okay? Last year
had the fourth most tackles of his career. Was this
for the Was he with the Washington Commander. Yeah, he
had over one hundred and sixty tackles in four and
a half sacks as a thirty four, thirty five year
old dan Quinn defense, I've always built around Bobby Wagner. Yeah,
And not only that, it's also a bad sign when
the linebackers getting that many tackles. It's like and nothing's
(03:11):
happening in the backfield at all. There's no sacks. It's
all stuff seven yards downfield, Jill forourn half sacks for
a linebacker, like those are good numbers. Two years ago
he led the league in tackles, So he's maybe he
had something. I call him up, but you threw up
on it. Yeah, I don't want him. Yeah, and Joe Mixon,
you thought he was You thought you'd rather have Zeke,
(03:32):
But Joe Mixon had a thousand yards last year. He
also hit that girl in the face. That's not why
you didn't want him, you want You didn'tant him because
he was old. That's an audible you're making.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
You never like a mysterious season ending injury either, that
means something didn't go well.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
How old stretch? How old is Joe Mixon.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Twenty nine s which means he's sixty three for in
dog years yeah and running back years?
Speaker 1 (03:51):
Yeah. I uh, I mean, I'll take him if he's free.
He had a thousand yards in fourteen games. All Right,
all right, you guys are more indie prospects. Give me
indie bands, Give me the indie guys. These are two
well known names. You know. You know exactly how I
feel about running backs. I've never deviated on that. I'm
not interested in a twenty nine year old running back
(04:12):
still as a backup. Do you think they have enough there?
I mean, I just I don't think they have enough there.
I'm not talking about being the lead horse, but I
would take a flyer on that. I mean, like I said,
I would take him for nothing if it's not going
to impact your salary. Captain, dude, bring zeke back for nothing?
Will you play for free? To play center? Right? Yes,
so this morning, you guys are fascinating. Man, I have
never once deviated on my running back opinion. So right,
(04:36):
he seems to be a really smart player. Why would
you ever consider anything else. I had a weird interaction
with a jogger today. Oh all right, I would dare
say a near conflict. What do you guys think happened?
You tried to run him over and say get out
of my way, a bitch move. Well, first of all,
(04:56):
it's unlikely that I was jogging, and then it'd be
unlikely that I was jogging such a pace that it
was I was willing to overtake another jogger. You open
your car door, and well this had been in a park.
What's the setting? No, man, like, use your imagination? What
do you think it was?
Speaker 3 (05:10):
I like to imagine you in a big monster truck, right,
punking at old people like Bigfoot. Yeah, and this is
like a different version of the Grandma story. But I'm
gonna say you were going out for a walk on
the green.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
Belt, okay, and then what might have happened? The guy
got up in your in your space and you had
a show. Oh he brushed by you when he jogged
by you. I was doing some indie rock style Japanese
interval walking one day and a cyclist tried to like
he got upset with me for like not staying on
my side of the sidewalk, so he zipped by me
at like eighty miles an hour. Is that on the
(05:43):
left or on the right? I don't remember, cause I
think that matters. I think you're supposed to be on
just like the city streets. You're supposed to be on
the right side of the trail if you're headed that direction, right,
just like cars, and maybe maybe you're more in the
mill or whatever. And he's like, I'm a biker, no
the rules. Well those sits situations cause you to pause
and say, man, do I need a road rage situation
(06:04):
right here? Do I want to fight? Am I willing
to go to prison for this? We all have to
ask ourselves that question. Well, be that's not what happened
there in this situation today. In this situation today, I
was pulling out of my neighborhood, getting ready to take
a right to just leave my neighborhood, just almost right
by my house, and I pulled out a little too far.
It was a stop sign, and I've made this stop
(06:26):
there probably a million times, and usually there's nobody there,
but this, on this occasion, there was a jogger running
down the sidewalk who needed to cross in front of
where my car was to get across the street over
to the other sidewalk. Does that make sense? It makes sense.
I have a question that matters today. Did the jogger
pause or like, you know, because smart joggers will jog
(06:48):
in place when they're at an intersection until they know
it's time to go. Yeah, they just kind of jog
in place, right, Yeah, they're in good shape. Right me,
I would like double over look like I was having
a heart attack. Maybe sneak in some sausage bites. I
don't agree with the jogger that just runs at the
same speed across an intersection. You're supposed to adapt to them.
I think that's wrong. Okay, that might have been what
happened here. The reality is there's never anyone there, so
(07:10):
and it's hard to see a jogger in that situation
of for my perifer revision. But I did pull out
a little too far. I was blocking the lane across
the road right the imaginary bridge from one sidewalk to
the next on a residential street. Yes, so I pulled
out a little too far, and by the time I
saw him, I was like, oh, no, he's gonna keep coming.
I'm blocking him. My bad. He can either go in
front of my car behind my car, but my car
(07:31):
is directly in his way. Yeah, and I felt really bad. Yeah,
And as he ran by, he was pissed off and
he punched my car. Whoa kind of slapped it. It
wasn't super hard, like a dent, but he did. Like
maybe it's an open hand slap to my car. Dude
in Texas. That's brave.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
So dumb of him to just keep running and not
even stop. How Yeah, that's where I have a problem.
Like two people can be in the wrong at the
same time. You're in the wrong for going too far
past the stop sign. He's in the wrong if he
just plowed his same velocity through an intersection because he's
a jogger. Seriously, that's not that's not right. Really, yeah, safe,
So he slapped my car really hard. Jacked up guy.
(08:09):
He looked to be maybe thirty five to forty two
years old and really good shape, running at a high pace.
That's kind of guy you got to shoot in the ink.
Pretty sure he would have kicked my ass. Yeah, you
gotta shoot that guy in the end. But anyways, I
rolled down my window. What do you think I did? Hey? Yeah,
what do you think I did? I think you said?
Nice ass?
Speaker 2 (08:28):
No?
Speaker 1 (08:29):
Sorry about that man? My bad? Exactly?
Speaker 3 (08:31):
What man?
Speaker 2 (08:33):
So?
Speaker 1 (08:33):
Sorry about that? My bad? He never turned around kept running?
Do he just kept running AirPods? I don't know. I
bet air pods. AirPods. I have to Sometimes I'll talk
to my son for an entire minute and a half
where I realized he hadn't heard a word I said.
I realistically felt terrible. I was like, it's my fault. Now.
The slap to the car was egregious. Yeah, you gotta
(08:55):
get revenge for that. But he didn't go quite so hard.
But anyways, I you think I hand that rider? Should
I have gone to prison? Over? So you got enough
fight in the street over It should have been a
lot like when that guy. We had that news report
from which staff follows with that guy's Like, man, I
had to prove I wasn't gay to that guy. That's right. Anyways,
that's how my day started coming up? Next, where are
you going to take some things? Skin is tracking? Has
(09:16):
your alien conversation changed lately? Okay, let's talk about that next.
We'll do that next right here on ninety seven point
one the Eagle. Before we get there, let's talk about
our friends at prosper Ford. Take the toll way the
whole way and put prosper on your roster. I talked
to our buddy Edwin Rivera there this morning, just such
a great guy. He's the general manager at prosper Ford.
(09:38):
And you do just take the toll way the whole way.
You take your the toll way all the way to
that Frisco prosper border, and then you hang a left
on Highway three eighty and then you'll see it up
on your right. You're going to see it in all
its glory there. It is prosper Ford, still the newest
Ford dealership in town, massive use car collection and of
course a huge selection of brand new forwards. And so
before you buy a car anywhere in we want you
(10:01):
to reach out to prosper Ford and talk to our guy,
Edwin Rivera, the GM. Ask for him by name, and
he'll personally oversee your deal. Yeah, and right now they
have the you pay what we pay deal going on
that involves employee pricing. Now I'm not going to give
you the details on that because that would trigger a
disclaimer that lasts for three minutes long. I'm just going
to encourage you to reach out to prosper Ford and
(10:22):
ask Edwin and the crew over there about it. Edwin
Rivera's got all the answers and they got great cars.
Another thing they're doing right now. If you've bought a
new Ford, you know in the last couple of years,
you might be able to trade it in and get
another new car to a really good deal because dealerships
like prosper Ford are increasing their pre owned inventory, so
(10:42):
there's really good deals to be had there. That is
exactly what happened with my daughter Maya. She got a
new twenty twenty five and it's new though Bronco Ford Bronco,
and she loves it and she got a great deal.
She got the rebates of twenty twenty five. She got
the great value of trading in the new car for
the new car. Everybody came out of winter. There's great
(11:03):
deals to be had. See for yourself. Why don't you
take the toll way the hole way has been would
saying go with the pros Visit prosper for today three
eighty in the Dallas North
